First time customer, bought a cartridge and a battery. The battery stopped working after a fee days so I went to a different shop and bought a new one. 20 bucks, whatever. Then the cartridge stoped working. It's been a few weeks since I purchased it, but I brought it in to see if maybe they knew what the problem was or if I had any options. It was still very full and not necessarily cheap. Was told "yeah..its been over 2 weeks.. yeah, I don't know." took about 30 seconds of time, and then all three employees behind the counter just stopped making eye contact with me and started talking to each other. I was the only person in the shop -which is tiny. I realized basically no one was gonna help me and none of them wanted to deal with it, so I slowly walked backwards towards the door and said "well, alright." no acknowledgement. I left and no one said a word. Bummer. I'm not a vindictive person, I don't really care about yelp, this is my first review. I've just never really had such an unhelpful experience.. this place is weird and just kind of has bad vibes. Sad I got screwed

This is my regular, neighborhood shop! as a medical patient, I love coming here! Wide selection of quality  buds at a consistently good price. Friendly staff and good vibes :)

This place is ok in a pinch, but I avoid it if I can. The prices seem a little too high for subpar product. But the real issue is the staff; it seems to put a real damper on their day when a customer comes in the door. On the several occasions I've given this place a chance, I've felt rushed and like I'm an inconvenience. One employee even stood there and tapped her fingers on the counter while I browsed. If I have a question, I'm talked down to for not knowing much about the products, and treated like an idiot for not knowing about all the nuances of the laws/restrictions of recreational marijuana that seem to change every couple of months (which I'm pretty sure is their job to know). If you're new to recreational marijuana, go anywhere else but here; most places are kind and patient about educating their customers. The worst perpetrator of the above is the short guy with long hair. If you happen to go in on a day that the one good employee is working (tall guy who actually smiles at you), then great! Otherwise, be prepared for rude condescension.

This is the best dispensary I've ever visited. I am new to marijuana and dispensaries. Ive never used marijuana before and I'm 60 yrs old. So I always feel like a fish out of water when I've visited other stores. But the entire staff at Uplift has always made me feel welcome. They answer my questions in a respectable way and don't make me feel stupid. I always walk out of Uplift feeling Uplifted! I would recommend this shop to everyone. In fact, my 85 yr old Mom was so impressed at how much the marijuana has helped my pain that she wanted to go to Uplift to get some CBD for herself. She bought some RSO and loves it! The staff dealt w/her beautifully.They usually have several combinations of CBD & THC RSO in stock. Their prices are reasonable and competitive. I have to say this... I have found in my life that that u get treated the same way u treat others. So maybe the people that comp!ained about the way they were treated went into the store with a chip on their shoulder. I can't imagine any of the staff at Uplift being anything less than professional with their clients.a Thanks to everyone at Uplift for taking such good care of me, giving me a lot of options and for the "uplifting experience" that I always have. What a wonderful place! We went twice while on our honeymoon, even though we could have gone somewhere else the second time. The staff was so friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and happy to take the time to explain anything that you don't understand about the labels. We would recommend Uplift to anyone near Portland, especially because their location was great: stop by next door to Mary Jane's if you need glass!

I genuinely look forward to coming here. It's the only dispensary I go to. I'm grateful to have had some wonderful conversations with the Staff. I've produced lots of oxytocin speaking with them about stuff that matters and I'm always impressed by their product knowledge and recommendations.

I was visiting Portland and stopped at this dispensary. They were friendly and answered all my questions. It was a good experience since I come from a state where marijuana is not legal yet.

Last night I was in the worse pain ever an unable to sleep. My husband convinced me to try c.b.d products. I must say, the staff was so kind. The young lady who helped me Melissa was very understanding and knowledgeable. This will be my new healthier option for pain and sleep. I finally got a good nights rest for the first time in ages, Thank you Uplift I will be back!

Very friendly staff that were more then willing to answer all of our first time tourist questions. The shop was clean, well lit and smelled nice, and everyone was professional. It looked like a nice selection as well, but I don't have anything to compare it with!

There's a guy here has the worst body odor I've ever smelled on anyone. It is so bad I can't smell the weed in front of me. I have repeatedly complained about this associate, however in every subsequent visit that I've paid he's done nothing but glower at me and my boyfriend in a way that makes me want to kick his ass and never want to come back again. I guess our business isn't valued as much as keeping this filthy excuse for a budtender around. I'm happier to go to Main st. Or High End. Much more professional and they value my business.

Total Bad Rip of A Deal.   The guy packaged up the WRONG strain ......and it was chump smoke !Not a good stop.   Not a good night.

Still my favorite dispensary!Going in is like going into see one of your best friends and pick up some pretty green, I love the crew there!I'm always treated well no matter who is working!I have friends that tell me about different dispensaries where they get cool deals or what not... but I just can't stay away from my friendly neighborhood uplift they always have something for me and I never walk out unhappy!!

Dude currently working tall with bleach blond hair is a total waste. I am a constant weekly customer and was treated poorly today. Lost my business today.

Terrible operation they have going on , it's like the only dispensary where you have to wait outside thirty minutes to get anything. Just seems to inefficient every time I try. The one close by "gnome grown" is much better

TL:DR- maskless employees. I was a long-standing customer of this place for years until I went in and found that one of the bud tenders was working with products behind the counter without any face covering of any kind. I asked what the deal was since that seemed kind of shocking and she said that I should mind my business because she had "medical issues" that precluded her from wearing a mask. I'm a nurse practitioner with severe asthma, Karen. Literally the only medical issue that should preclude you from wearing a mask is not having a head. Just wanted to give folks a heads up that while they may not let you in without a mask you just might find that you're being handed your products by someone free-cheeking it. I left a review on Leafly and the owner doubled down. If they change their policy I'll be happy to update this review but sadly I'm going to be getting my cannabis products from Bridge city collective or Diem cannabis from now on. They deliver. Slow as all get out makes customers wait outside for over a year now. Only allow one person in the bud room at a time. There intake sucks they buy herb based on numbers not quality. You will usually sit in a like of 10 people. For 35 minutes.  They do not care about there customers. Skip this shop and check out kings of canna

Super good deals, I repeat Super.Good.Deals.Okay not sure if this is an all the time thing or if we got lucky but man we pulled up here (due to an emergency situation that arose) and they really came through with the deals for the one time. I generally try as hard as I possibly can to avoid going to dispensaries but I found myself here and I wasn't even mad. When they weigh out their nugs all the workers use chopsticks lol thought that was interesting. Anyway overall "chill" spot, featuring local art, enthusiastic workers & didn't have weird vibes. Just based off the positive experience I had I'd recommend anyone go there!! but also know what u want prior cause they will convince u to get something u don't even really need even though it sounds good
