Friendly staff. Due to miscommunication I ended up with a disposable co2 pen as opposed to a co2 cartridge for my battery. I realized this on the way home and went back. They exchanged it for me without giving me any sh*t. Thanks!
Been to the NW Burnside location once. And that was an experience that completely turned me off to them. Which is a shame because I was excited that they had a location within walking distance to me. And I had heard many awesome things. I was in total "Stoked Mode".Until I explained to the kid behind the counter that I'm a 27%-30% THC Indica Flower user. He proceeded to tell me that Indica (all indicas) never go above 15%. And depending on the test method..it can read 25% and only be 14%-15%. And that the highest THC Indica they carry was 15%. And that it was probably higher because it completely wrecked him and his cohort who was sorting flowers. They BOTH attested to this!! And then tried to sell me some very verrrryyyy sad and grassy looking bottom shelf that looked and smelled like it fell off a lawnmower blade. Huge fail.
Bought a leaky cartridge here. Manager refused to refund me the next morning. I'll never be going back unless they make it right. You should avoid this place-- Updated --I ended up going to another store, and they ended up refunding me for Cannablises leaky product!I will always value that. Cannablis is trash.
This place is OK, I guess, but don't buy a product called Nu Phoenix Tears. I can't smoke because of a lung condition, and the young guy behind the counter gave me a huge sales pitch on this product, which cost $42. He said it would last a long time. It hasn't. The material in the plunger is so stiff (or old) that it WILL NOT come out unless you warm it with a hair dryer or under warm water. Once it's fluid, the stuff squirts out all at once. I feel that I was grossly mislead about this product and I will not be going back to this store.
I had the pleasure today of asking way too many questions of an employee by the name of Michael and having a really great, tailored experience and learning a lot. I'm not the most savvy on this stuff, and went with a friend who's a bit of a connoisseur. We really enjoyed how the strains are listed on a blackboard showing what kind of high you'll get, like 'Creative' or 'Happy' or 'Alert' - something I haven't seen at any other shop in town.I ended up snagging a high CBD vape pen and my friend grabbed a few things on special. Impressed with prices, blown away by the customer service of Michael and a few other people working, great atmosphere and decor. Also have to love the location - they're next to a pretty kickass pizza joint.
Good product ok prices. I would have given a 5 star rating but I don't like waiting 30 min. In the lobby every time I go
The selection is nice. However it's a little pricey. Some of the bud tenders are ok but the overall the customer service is really lacking.
Let's get down to it.It's got a great selection, knowledgeable friendly staff, cool security guys and decent pricing. And there's a waiting room if you have to wait with some magazines like the dentists office. Just pray to the gods that you don't get amateur night in front of you because then they'll be in there forever!! Chit chatting, all giggly and shit, taking forever, when all you want to do is slide in, grab a preroll and bounce. Is that too much to ask for??
If you want some dank weed Cannabliss is the place to go. Great prices and super nice staff! Kendall is the best
Benji boi rolls fire joints. Always love coming into this dispo the Customer service 10/10.
Sign and website info says they close at 9 but everytime I come it's closed by 8:40. Change your hours to 10-8:40 if this is going to be such a consistent thing. Weed is okay. Cute menu.
Staff is very condescending and the product is just okay. There is an additional charge for using a debit or credit card. I have been in more than once solely because the location is convenient and I am consistently underwhelmed. Avoid if you can.
My friend purchased a vape pen and cartridge for $60 last week. The pen stopped working after 2 days but we weren't able to go back in until one week later. I've known this to happen to other vape pens and had good experiences with other shops replacing them. The guy said there was nothing he could do because store policy dictates a 72 hr window for problems. I insisted that this was a bad business policy since the pens themselves should work longer than a week at $60. He said it happens often at this store but management will not budge. Our salesman even asked the manager and he quickly responded with the 72 hr rule. Instead we went to Oregon's Finest and Chris assured us that they stand behind their products. He even went on to say that vape pens break a lot and their policy is to make it right for their customers. He even offered to help us figure what part of the pen was broken. My advice to readers is to frequent places that care about good customer service. I know a broken vape isn't exactly the fault of Cannabliss but how you treat customers is key. If you can go to OF in the pearl I strongly recommend skipping this place. Good customer service goes a long way and speaks volumes.
Will Never comeback here. Got there at 9:40 something , They had me waiting in the lobby until 10 , to then tell me "Sorry man we can't sell Weed after 10 " Are you for real?, I was here inside waiting before 10, If you are gonna close the shop at 9:40pm then change your fucking hours to 10am to 9:40pm . Yeah fuck that , I will get my weed somewhere else where they dont do this stupid shit. Im done with this place. Not the first time they do this crap
I've been going here for months and have been a great customer for this place. They have always loved my little dog and we often walk together to get a little bud. Today I was turned away because he wasn't a "service" animal. What changed? I won't be returning. If he was a service dog I'd be irritated because the person at the desk was rude. NW Portland is going to shit. Its okay. This place had a terrible selection anyway.
I feel like this place doesn't get enough credit. The front area is nice and has comfortable seating and (typically) a super nice person at the counter. The back area has PDX carpet and a long glass case counter with a bunch of different products, pens, pipes, etc. The flower selection is always diverse and the budtenders definitely know what they're talking about. A few of the budtenders seems like genuinely good people who want to talk to you. The prices are comparable to other places. Love the couple of inexpensive strains I've found there lately. Seems like it's getting more organized as they now call your name in order of check in.
Cannabliss is way cool the people there are great they had a great selection and they had hashish which totally surprised me. And out of all the dispensaries I've been into cannabliss is the only one to give me an application for employment and I've asked all the ones I've been in. Continue the great service
At the beginning of this month I bought a vape pen here. I couldn't get it to work, or anyone else. I finally had a chance to stop by the store to try to exchange it. Even with the receipt, I had to wait at least 7 minutes for the manager to make his grand appearance. The "manager" looked about 12 years old with facial piercings to make him look like a complete douche bag. He told me he had to take the pen to the back for "testing" (yes, seriously). He came back after another 7 or so minutes and told me it worked fine with a condescending smirk. I requested an exchange. The moron manager told me he could only give me store credit because it had been too long since I bought it. 2 weeks and with a receipt? I had to explain AGAIN that I just wanted an exchange. Finally I got a replacement. However, I'm convinced the child manager was smoking product in that backroom. These places are a dime a dozen. Customer service is what matters. And, who is the idiot that put this idiot in charge?
Got there 5 mins to 9 and I even knew what I wanted but you didn't let me in. You already have the lowest number of choices that I've seen and rarely do you have any bud that's higher then 25% thc. I was gonna try cannabliss one more time but this sealed the deal. You guys are the weakest shop I've been to.
They were a fave of mine until someone with attitude asked for my bag... I'm 50 yrs old and manage a bank. No no you can not! I'm not homeless I'm not "sketchy"... and they have never asked for it in over a year of patronage until now... why don't they think before being so snotty! Lost my business and who ever I talk to business I tell ya that! Negative interactions are talked about 25% more than positive! You're not only one in town either!
All these reviews about Cannabliss not taking back faulty vape cartridges sounds suspect. I purchased a cartridge in early December. I was busy, so I didn't get to use it for a couple of days. When I did, I immediately realized that something was wrong with it (wasn't pulling as easily as a new cartridge should). I persevered, but the clog just got worse. I knew about the 72 hour return policy (and I'm pretty sure I had thrown away the receipt), so I contacted Select directly (mainly to ask how I could disassemble the cartridge and save the oil). I was instructed to take it back to Cannabliss and reference the email. I was super nervous about doing this since the clog resulted in the oil burning faster (cartridge was about half full) and it was about a week and a half after I made the purchase. I went into Cannabliss, spoke to a super helpful manager who tested my cartridge (and was able to find my receipt in their system because I knew my exact date of purchase due to checking in on Baker and having that text confirmation), and walked out with a brand new Select cartridge of equal value.Maybe the key is, people should stop being entitled a-holes and go about a return in the correct fashion. If you're bothered by the bud tenders trying to educate you (re: pompous review about "the kid behind the counter"), get over yourself. They're doing their job. Don't be a know it all jerk. They do ask if you've ever been in before...Also, regarding the dude that likes to show up at 9:40pm repeatedly and gets mad when he doesn't get served... HOW ABOUT YOU GO TO THE DISPENSARY EARLIER? Problem solved. I'm not sure about the OLCC regulations of a dispensary, but 1) bars have last calls (maybe dispensaries do, too) and 2) they have he right to refuse service to anyone. At the end of the day, it's weed people. Why you so angry?
Don't use the card swiper!I bought a $38 quarter and decided to use the card reader since they always give me some weird amount of change with coins when I pay cash. Without saying anything, they charged my card $52.50 ($50 plus a $2.50 ATM fee!) then handed me $4.40 in cash. WTF???!!!I asked why I'm being handed money right after paying with a debit card."We can only charge in $5 increments." (But there's that $2.50 fee! That's not a $5 increment.)These weed stores are making tons of cash, why are they charging a $2.50 ATM fee on transactions that aren't even ATM withdrawals and why are they wasting their time with managing worthless nickels and dimes? One would think they could round off prices to include tax. Instead of $38 plus 20% tax which is $38 + $7.60 = $45.60 just set the price at $45 or $46. I rate them 2 stars for being lower priced than most downtown weed stores but they still stick you with high prices for what they consider "premium" weed.
Wow, they've definitely cleaned up the place. When you walk in, the counter isn't cluttered with so much advertisements like before. They may have added a new lamp, (or just really cleaned it) and the sit down area definitely looks a lot more polished. There's a person right up front checking for ID, and controlling the flow of customers (which is definitely a good idea). I'm glad they got rid of the tip jar out there because there's plenty of tip jars inside. I understand the virtue of tipping and as a server, I definitely appreciate it. Having said that, I and everyone I work with know, that no one tips the host/hostess, we just share the tips with them. As I hope the people working inside are tipping out the person working at the receptionists desk. . I like this place because people that works here are always very nice, knowledgeable and friendly. They almost always have that CBD that if you buy two of, it's a little more affordable. I definitely recommend this place whether you're near or further away. It is worth it.
Online system is wonky and the order system negates the point of the shop staying open later
Over priced product, terrible customer service, easily one of the worst dispensaries I've ever been to. I keep thinking it will get better and it doesn't. Save yourself some frustration and just go somewhere else.
They shorted me 2g on a 1/2oz. When I called to notify they just said "well our jars balance so..." below average product and terrible customer service. They said a store manager would call me back and they never did. SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE.
This establishment has a real problem. The service "inside" has been less than professional and going downhill consistently. Apparently the manager has a business philosophy that being rude is more appropriate than any type of customer service. Anyone can have a bad day, but for this manager being condescending to good paying customers is her method of operation. And, now you can add the "exterior" of the business as another plight on the community. Rubbish and debris near the entrance enticing rats and other vectors has convinced me this place needs to be out of business and soon. I don't plan to ever shop at this shop again and I hope you consider doing the same. It is time for a change and this place doesn't deserve the money of hard working customers.
Very safe during covid! I was visiting from California and every single person that I was greeted by was amazing especially my budtender Cortney! She is so helpful and was so sweet. If you have any questions that you need to be answered you can count on Cortney! Her personality is so welcoming and I will definitely tell my friends in Portland to come here and when I visit again will definitely be coming back!!! If you are in the Portland I would recommend this place
I will NEVER GO BACK! I generally do not write reviews, but I was remarkably offended and disappointed by my treatment today as a regular weekly customer at this location. I am reviewing this experience to save other hard-working individuals from being cheated and deceived when buying vape products here.Last week, at the salesperson's recommendation, I had purchased two cartridges from a different brand than my usual buddies; both did not work when I tried them with any of my three vape pens. I demonstrated that the cartridges did not create a mist (returning with my receipt) and asked if I could exchange them for the buddies.A dark-haired older woman came to the counter and rudely told me that I had bought the wrong type of cartridge for my pen and that I was at fault and should understand what I needed before I ordered. Recall that the person had recommended this product to me, claiming that they were of superior quality. As a trusting, frequent, good-natured client with an abundance of money to spend, I can't recall being treated so rudely and with such indifference anywhere that I have been a consumer! I would not advise buying any vape products at this location because you will receive rubbish for your money and no chance of a return for their defective product. Do not assume that because you come there each week you will be treated fairly and with integrity and respect.Hard working graduate student
Had an amazing time visiting this dispensary despite the overwhelming heat. My bud-tender Chandler was super sweet, knowledgeable, and helpful with helping me pick a strain. The staff were awesome but it was unbearably hot inside!!
The staff is awesome and I had a great experience with them. But OHMYGOD it is Death Valley in that building. It was unbearably hot and I couldn’t wait to get out. Nobody should be forced to work in this conditions. I feel bad because the staff has nothing to do with the AC not working, but I have to give 1 star because the conditions inside would’ve killed me had I stayed longer. Don’t go until the AC is fixed
Staff was super friendly and helpful, however it was so insanely hot inside of there it was obvious the staff was far far beyond uncomfortable to a concerning level. Downright inhumane. Pretty shameful they stayed open honestly.
Hi there, Not sure who this is going to reach but I’ve gone into this Cannabliss several times and always had a decent experience. Yesterday when I went to visit the second I stepped in the door the heat was unbearable, I asked if they had a/c and they told me it wasn’t working at the moment and should be working by tomorrow (today). I decided to revisit today and it was still SO hot, clearly the a/c had not yet been fixed. I don’t want to shame a business for not having adequate a/c necessarily, but they should just take the time to fix it and close their doors. I couldn’t imagine being in there for more than 10min let alone hours that the employees are putting in!! I’m not sure about all the labor laws in Oregon since I’m not originally from here but there is no way this isn’t breaking some rules. Please treat your employees with some respect and close your doors !!!
I feel like they're going out of business in this particular spot. It was one of my usual stops, but something's going on. Way too much out of stock except for flower. Less and less every visit.
This is my first review in my entire life, I hate writing reviews and think they’re virtually pointless, but today really sparked a nerve with me. The workers are super sweet, friendly and helpful 5+ stars for them. But I’m giving this place a 1 star for how poorly they’re treated! The AC isn’t even working and it’s literally 109 degrees outside, I can’t imagine how they’re feeling being in a small building all day, working and being in 95+ degree temperatures. One of the bud tenders looked like they were about to pass out. It’s awful. If I owned this place I’d have the AC fixed ASAP, and if that couldn’t be done I’d be amazoning a 100$ AC unit unit it’s fixed. I wish management would understand how essential their employees are. Also I can’t imagine the temperatures in this place could be doing to some of their products. Do better.
Our 22nd & Burn location proudly serves the Westside of Portland and is conveniently located near PGE Park, NW 23rd Avenue and the Pearl District. We have taken great pride in creating the most comfortable cannabis buying experience that you can find. Our skilled budtenders are extremely knowledgeable and can help you find the right product.
