Super helpful staff. I went in with almost zero knowledge about what I was looking for. I got a card because of chronic pain, even though history has proven again and again that I freak out badly on marijuana. i was hoping the regulated, medical-grade stuff might provide some relief without the hours of panic about whether I was breathing correctly (don't ask). The staff pointed me in the direction of indica strains, and I purchased two kinds. They kept me away from anything too potent, considering I have not used cannabis in years. No freakout with the stuff I got! Yay! I slept well for once. But the pain remains. They didn't have any appropriate strains for me with high enough cannabinoids, which apparently are what helps the most with pain, and I got the general sense from browsing the weedmaps site that this place doesn't have the strain or product selection of some other dispensaries in town. I had no problem with this place, enjoyed the firehouse thing going on, the cleanliness, artwork, and professional vibe, but I'll probably check out a couple other places at some point just to see if there's something that helps more with the pain. There are about 53 billion dispensaries in town so it is wise to check out a few, but I did really like this place overall and will probably return at some point.
I love the staff and selection here. The cost is not always the lowest but the quality is always the highest.I really appreciate that the staff really seem to know their stuff. And it's nice to just rattle off what I want to get out of the flower and they have a slew of suggestions.
Man this place is awesome. The building is really cool and the medicine here is really good. Service was beyond fabulous. Will come back here for sure.
These people are really nice and friendly and legit have the best prices in town despite being a top shelf shop. Literally travel miles to buy here in bulk.
Best prices I've found so far and I'm a big partaker to say the least. I'm also a professional OLCC licensed handler and they have great cultivators for super low prices. First medical dispensary in Portland and that shows in the pricing. Awesome building and super helpful staff.
Solid place, with fair prices and really nice staff. The fact that it used to be an old firehouse is pretty cool, and it's awesome that they keep all the architecture/hipster vibe going.
It used to be that I knew a guy and when he wasn't available, I knew a guy that knew a guy.But see, now everybody knows a guy. In fact, everybody knows lots of guys. With the new guy you don't have to wait around for him to call you back. You don't take what he's got and are happy just to have some. You also don't have to go without because this new guy is never out. In fact, this new guy has lots of options. You don't have to make that late night stop at the ATM with the new guy. You don't have to meet up in his car in the parking lot, or drive over to his place and feel obligated to hang out and play video games. This was my first new guy. This new guy is awesome. Each time, he's been chill, helpful and took great care of me.I never thought I'd say this as a straight guy, but damn it sure is nice to have a new guy in my life.
My favorite dispensary in the inner east side, this place resides in an old firehouse that still retains most of that charm and feel. It's a big white building with decent signage, enter through the original super-tall front doors and approach what was once a literal bar in the large entry room to sign in. There are numerous industry magazines and flyers for various events, but I've never had to wait long so never sat down to read any of them. There's never any wait because the sales area spans about 2/3 of the floorspace of the building. Open and airy, again the owners tried to keep the firehouse feel, with a middle room for some gear displays before you reach the back room where the action is at. First off they've got SUPER deals, multiple tiers of quality and pricing starting at just $6 a gram (+tax), usually at least a half dozen strains at that price point. And more at $8/gram, $10/g, etc. The real deals happen when you want an 8 gram quarter for $40 for instance, or that $99 ounce of mix-and-match buds. That's right, you can get a couple grams of this and a couple grams of that and they'll throw it all together(not literally) for that hundred dollars. This extends to quarters and eight ounces as of my last visit. Sign up for points with every visit and they'll send you text messages with their current offers, reminding you about $100 ounces when these other dispensaries can't be bothered to even sign up for the 'dispensary locator' services like XXXXmaps or Leaflikelery (ehh heh not trying to advertise those services here). The buds are displayed on well-lit shelving behind the counter and prices are printed out on informative pages for you to get more familiar with the offerings if you aren't a visual shopper. They've got a limited selection of extracts and edibles but they're very reasonably priced and I've honestly never taken the time to ask about what else they've got since the flower deals are so good. And if you've read any of my other dispensary reviews you'll know I'm a cyclist, and have problems when businesses decide (for whatever reason) that they don't need bike racks nearby. Cannabliss has such a ridiculously large entry room that I can literally ride in the front door and park my bike against the wall without actually stepping on pavement - which they absolutely love. Zero hassles with parking my bike! WIN! Since my 'neighborhood' shop can't be bothered with a bike rack, I ride an extra mile or so to hit the Firehouse. You should too.
This is my favorite dispensary in Portland (I've been to at least 10 others). Check out their specials for some decent prices. They also have a way that you can order ahead of time and have it ready when you get there (it's called Baker, you can probably find it on their website)! They also have a points system where I believe every time you walk in you get points toward items in the storm. The staff is generally very knowledgable and not at all pretentious, I usually walk in with a specific effect desired and they pick out a few strains for me. This is my go-to dispensary for sure.
I have to say the young woman at the door of entry was really nice and informative. I spoke to her before entering. Unfortunately, my experience with the male sales person was not the best. I asked him about the price and he told me it was one of the lowest. He knows because he visits canabis shops all over Portland. Well, not correct. I saw this item for less money in other shops. Then he did not tell me that there was a $2.50 fee for using a debit card. It's considered like an ATM withdrawal. I saw my bank statement and called up Cannabliss. He said, "I forgot to mention it."There are many choices in Portland. Due your due diligence and be and asks about all FEES.
You won't find variety and quality like this anywhere in Portland, possibly even in all of Oregon. With six booths to choose from, a high level of quality control coming from the management, three lounges with big screen TVs, a pool table, and friendly farmers and patrons Cannabliss offers meds and an atmosphere that simply cannot be beat. All farmers offer exceptional medicine, but my preference for organics and silver haze often directs my visit to the "Deez Nugz" booth in the back corner.
I have shopped here exclusively for several years, mostly to support the success of the store. I am a patient and my grower is affiliated with the store. I have always mirrored back financially what was given by grower, most times more.As of recent I came in as I was behind on getting my medicine as I work so much. I was informed that the owner, Matt I think, had made the rash decision to halt the grower/patient relationship with no notice to anyone. This was clearly a decision that only served himself. It demonstrates such a discounting attitude toward customers who supported this business in the days he was getting it going. Portland has always held good business ethics between proprietor and customer. For me, this was a slap in the face and i was quite shocked. He wouldn't even take my call when I phoned , even though he was there! I have pulled up roots here and his other two stores as well and the many I have sent here will be informed. I have already found several other stores that DO and are working with clients and growers to ensure a gentle and respectful change, that is inevitable with the new laws. Further more, their prices are much better for the same products and oils I used to buy there. I encourage others to support dispensaries that really care about the clients that support them. I will miss the staff, wonderful people they are, but the ethics of this business mirrors Walmart!
I won't go anywhere but Cannabliss. I always visit Rose City's booth and only theirs. They have always been helpful, nice, and I've always been happy with my choices. I know what I'm looking for and have never been let down. I go there once a week because I like the fact that I'm paying $20 ($5 cover) a month to help them. Even though the girl up front recognizes me, I still show my card and my id. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the lack of parking and the constant movement of the booths and lounge room. Just set it up and call it a day rather than freaking me out looking for Rose City's booth. I don't hang out at all, I just pick up my meds and leave. I am just in and out, and sometimes use the restroom which is clean!
Their joint smoked horribly. Took half the joint of puffing to get a decent hit. Nice people though. Don't recommend
High priced medicine and a dirty club..Plus a door fee to add to your expense. This place is all about your wallet not the patient! The irony is that 2 of booths also rent space at another club that has no Door fee.The times are a changing!! Down with door fees!
This was my first time visiting a dispensary. Dude was super nice, product was fairly priced, and I didn't feel intimidated going in like I did at Farma. Would highly recommend.
Small selection, no heat and no first time customer joint/discount, nada. Which is why I usually venture to a new dispensary. But that's not why I'm writing this. I got home, found my cartridge was broken and drove back. Took about a half hour. When I returned, the guy at the counter was very polite but the doughy bearded manager had nothing to offer. Not a discounted or free joint, no offer of even a small discount on my next trip in. I feel the effort has all been spent on their brand, but they overlooked the tenants of good business. Will never return.
Great building and tour when you first get there. So historic and clean. They are doing things right. Super comfortable environment and the people showing their wares are open and friendly folks. If I didn't drive there I would have hung out in their lounge. Maybe next time. First visit is free so don't be shy to give it a chance.
Visiting from Los Angeles, I stumbled upon this wonderful little hot spot. I was in town for 3 days, and I quickly became a temporary "regular". EVERYONE at this shop was awesome and super helpful. Compared to CA, the weed is more expensive here, but the service was wonderful. If I'm ever in Portland again, I will for sure stop in to Cannabliss! I forgot the ladies name who helped me the most --- so if she reads this & recognizes me, THANK YOU!!!!
I came across this place on my weedmaps app. I thought it was just another dispensary. Boy was I wrong. This place is more like a chill club to smoke weed in and just hang out. When you first walk into the lobby there is a sign in counter and some t-shirts and chips for sale. Most of the apparel was cannabliss shirts and hats. Pretty cool digs. This was my first time here so it was free. There is a $5 fee every time you want to come hang out. Not a big deal really because this place is an awesome spot to chill.I got the tour. It is an amazing historical fire house. They still have the fire mans pole inside and everything. Upstairs is a lounge area with cable tv. There is also another tv that you can watch dvds. Downstairs there is a room with a pool table and another lounge area. Fridge full of free sodas?! Bonus. There are about 6 growers there with their own little booths. The selection is amazing!! Every booth has something unique to offer. I was very pleased. I bought three joints for $10. Not bad at all. I stuck around and hung out for a bit. People are very friendly here. Not too stuck-up or weed snobbs. A friendly guy offered me some of his oil. It was great. I will be back again for sure. This place has something very unique and the atmosphere rocks!
Sad to say, this club is a living advertisement against cannabis clubs. It's a joke. I've been there about 4 times now, at different days and times. The last time was like being in a room in hell. There were some very stoned and bad looking young women making a TON of noise (versions of the world's most annoying noises), stoned out of their gourd, and so loud that I couldn't have a conversation with one of the "growers", and no one there was grown up enough to ask the women to stfu. I have consistently gotten poor quality material there, often with misleading information. The word "organic" is used about as loosely as possible, and on at least one occasion was sold something supposed to be organic that was clearly not. The people who work the front desk range from disinterested to outright surly, and the atmosphere in general is a downer. Frankly, it's enough to make me want to give up cannabis altogether.
I've been 5 or so times. Selection good. The first time I received top buds for a top bud donation (price). The rest of my visits yielded lower quality buds for top bud prices.
I've visited several times, and I'm tempted to call the previous review all out BS. They're ultra strict about entrance i.e. making sure that only those who have proper ID & permits get to come in. Beyond that, the armosphere is warm, inviting, and very much like most really popular McMinamins locations. Excellent medicine, knowledgable people, and just a pleasant place to have great conversation & find out about the amazing things this safe medicine has to offer.
Mo, Will and Aaron helped us out today and were awesome! They went the extra mile and we couldn't be more thankful!! There is a reason this is my go to shop! Checkity check them out yall!!
Absolutely the worst dispensary in Portland. I've been going here for couple months once a week. They have an OK selection but their customer service is beyond terrible you can tell how old the owners probably are by how the employees treat the customers. They except my ID and I made a couple phone calls after they excepted my ID at the front counter allowing me access into the facility. And then when I place my order they asked to see my ID again. And then denied me. I'll because I am very busy and was talking my business because I had a business phone call and I sell a lot of hemp seed. This company treats their employees terribly because it's a reflection on to the customers and the control issues is beyond childish. OK products don't expect to get a smile from anyone in there and expect to be treated like garbage
Super friendly staff, cute space, and best of all it used to be a fire station. Hubba hubba. They have all you need both recreationally and medicinally, open great hours, and I always leave happy (before I smoke anything, bozo). I usually tell the budtender what I want it for plus how strong I'd like it and go with what they suggest. I've never been led astray. Their pre-rolled joints aren't made with trimmings and leftovers, it's from the good stuff. Out of our billion dispensaries this is one of the few that gets two enthusiastic thumbs up. They know their stuff and are always willing to help.
This is the perfect example of a good business gone bad via legalization. Was amazing 6-7 years ago as a medical dispensary. I mean AMAZING. This place had its own subculture going on. The upstairs smoking lounge with couches, bean bags, tvs, video games and glass floor was so rad. As was the fridge with free pop and water. Went back recently after having moved out of the area and was met with sheer disappointment. I know legalization changed the regulations but whoa. The soul has been sucked out of this place. If you never went prior to legalization you have no idea what you missed out on. Ignorance is [canna]bliss in this case. Or, as the song goes; "a taste of honey is worse than none at all" for those of us who did.
Awesome flower, awesome people, and a very pleasurable experience, every time. I choose Cannabliss firehouse every time for my top shelf favorites!
Used to come here when they were actually nice and friendly. Now the flowers are too expensive for trash quality. I use to get good flowers for $50 an ounce then one day the price went up to $96 and the quality went down! Go see for yourself!!! They will have a jar or 2 of disgusting looking weed for $50 jar full of sticks and stems, you cant even smoke it and they want top dollar lol yea right!!!! That is how they reward regular customers... By raising prices and lowering quality! I have spent thousands of dollars here and they dont care! They just raise prices! The staff is real rude now and not very knowledgeable. I used to come here atleast twice a week and spend $150-200+ for years!!!! They dont care!I dont come here as often and I encourage everyone else to look elsewhere as well until this company fixes the problem!!!!!!!!!!
My family and I are visiting from California. The staff was kind and friendly, they really made us feel welcome. The building is so cool, the fire station is converted but they left enough original architecture that you could still feel the history of its previous life.
This is what you get with no return policy delivered to you at the front door with no return policy during the pandemic.Garlicane (look at the photo they used)Genuinely furious. I would of never bought this.Go spend your money on a place that is feeling hurt from this and not from a place that feels this is acceptable. Not giving a one because this is buyers remorse, but it comes genuinely from misrepresentation of their product.Yeah I thought it was a steal, it's obvious it isn't lol
Just moved to the neighborhood and wanted to try out the closest dispensary to see if it was as cool as the last one I frequented. They have no menu or visual aid to display prices of the flower or its diagnostics on THC levels, etc. Buyers are left with the task to remember them as the impatient employee rambles them off while displaying jars and giving you information you're not asking about. When asked why there was no menu, the employee said they took them away because of COVID and hand contact from customers. While all science points to little to no surface contact when properly sanitized - they also could of hung menus on the plexiglass between them and the customer to be easily read. Not one employee was wearing a mask either. Bummer - take your dollar elsewhere. Buying from a dispensary shouldn't be stressful. 2 stars cause I did find flower.
Nothing to complain about here!*great selection on flowers*great selection on edibles *it's in a old Firestation ++*quick transaction
This is a pretty cool place! It has chill staff , and the last time I went. I spent over $50 and got free girl scout cookies. Which definitely came in handy. The most annoying thing about this place is how well it blends In to the neighborhood. I drove past it like twice before looking for it.
Good people, good weed, good prices
Best place ever. Always awesome people there also.
Show your ID at the front door. They have a line, cause they only a few people at a time. Atm on site. They wait on you. Have to go and check it out. Medical and Non Medical
If they have Cadillac Cookies get it you won't be disappointed
