So This was only my second time in here seems nice. I was in there while my friend was looking around. So I decided to leave and go outside, I left almost immediately after a couple in front of me did. Not knowing that the door that had just closed locks automatically. So decided to get out of everyone's hair because it was absolutely packed and I wasn't buying any so no point in staying. Anyways I go to open the door I try three times thinking maybe it was me, so I gave it a small yank, before realizing that it's an automatic lock. I don't go to weed dispensaries often, don't know what they're like, don't know what they're about. But the guy behind the counter went psychotic on me. And at first I thought he was joking because it was something so little. He says to me " What the fucking fuck man!? What in the hell are you doing? You need to get the fuck off this property right now before I call the cops!" Then says to the person at the counter(my friend) "this guy's trying to rip the god damn door off!" I could have stopped there and responded about him over reacting. But it wasn't worth it. So I left. And my friend said, when he came out that he was continuously going on about it. I understand maybe you had a bad day. But you DO NOT treat people in your store that way. And I won't be going back. Horrible people skills.
Friendly, informative staff, great prices, and clean/well-kept store. No complaints! Must check in at the front with ID first. Cash only.
I was so angry when this dude with the beard and glasses sold me some stale pre-rolled joints. He digged around for a while to find the old stock too. What made him sell me stale old product? Racism? I want to go back and confront this loser but I don't think I'll go to that part of town anyway. I'm just Gonna go to other nice shops with honest merchants.
These people are very efficient and straight forward relaxed and accommodating. The prices are reasonable. Bummer they don't accept card tho. Was a great stop for our hang out.
Thank you Marilyn! So much help... Very informative. Clean place... Great options. Fun spending time and learning. ATM available... Bueno!
I had a terrible experience today at Gras Cannabis. Gras was the first medical dispensary I went to when cannabis was legalized in Oregon over two years ago and the medical shops opened for recreational. I have recommended it to strangers who asked me about where to find some cannabis out in the neighborhood and I have taken more than one friend there. It has been my go to ever since I was able to go and I have had some really good interactions with their employees. I have been to this place at least monthly since it became legal for me to do so. Today, I was berated by an employee because he did not like my reaction to his greeting. That is as close as I can figure out to what exactly happened here. I was simply trying to indicate I needed some time to look at the menu and he took a deep personal offense. After about a minute of this, being quite taken aback, I turned to leave. It honestly seemed like that is what this person was looking for out of the interaction. The door was locked, since that is a legal requirement. Instead of simply buzzing me out he said in a very sarcastic way that he would have to buzz me out and made long eye contact before doing so. I felt upset and more than a little bit threatened. After leaving the store I came back to get his managers' phone number. He was still there and still seemed pretty convinced that I had started this whole deal. This was not supposed to be a difficult transaction. It is absolutely not worth it to me to go to this place and risk seeing this person again. I need all levels of management at Gras and the public to know that I will never return under any circumstances. I also would like the public to consider using one of the other excellent dispensaries in the area. Gras has a lot of competitors. I have used several of them and had good experiences and one of them will soon be my new regular shop. tl;dr I loved Gras for years before the absurd, angry and borderline threatening attitude of one employee lost my business. Good riddance.
Awesome selection great price dank weed I will definitely come back again soon best shop in town
Really great shop, super friendly and helpful staff, great selection of flower, oil, edibles, this place has everything!!! Very high quality product for a super affordable price. They always have super great deals and sales going on and they're always getting new products and strains in. Love this place!!! There are so many cannabis shops in portland and this is by far my favorite shop! Go to place every time. Be sure to check them out!
I came into this place for CBD. I have had a pretty ridiculous hip issue the last couple weeks and CBD has been helpful for pain management. I am from out of town so everything was unfamiliar to me and the person working the counter just wasn't helping very well overall. I ended up being sold a tincture of 250mg for $70 - which is way more expensive than anywhere I have gotten tinctures before. Regardless, not an amazing experience but the shop is cool. *shrug*
Get your hours right. Not that hard. How hard can it be? Seriously? Fr? I'm pissed. Waste my life.
I am undecided between an 3 and 4 star rating here but we used to love them, we live less than a block away and this was our regular stop. They had an amazing $50 ounce deal and offered great quality! Then the prices started going up, they stopped offering that deal or really any deals at all, then we started finding a lot of stems and seeds in our orders which wasn't awesome. The final draw for us was going by when we were out and they were closed without any explanation or timeline listed. Next day same thing. Week later same thing. We found no information on their site about the closure or when they would be reopening, if at all (keep in mind this was before COVID). We kept coming by over any over and just gave up, their lack of information online just made us lose interest in even checking. Would be nice if you know you are going to have an extended closure or changed hours to AT LEAST post it on your Facebook or website out of courtesy. We caved and ordered from a different service that delivered. Not only were there no stems anywhere but they were cheaper and had the same or better strains (and fantastic stronger edibles at a quarter the price). Haven't gone back since.
Every time I'm in, they are so attentive and quick. They are always kind, personable, and chill. I would highly recommend this for your cannabis needs!
This is my go to dispo! I love the interior, great vibe, REALLY good weed and it's always a quick trip in and out! I also appreciate all the knowledge shared by the staff when I ask for recommendations! I tell everyone about this place!
I am a Senior Citizen and new to the area. They are incredibly patient for those of us new to the medicine, and know their products well as they easily help you sort out what might work for you. I have yet to find a more"Senior friendly" Cannabis shoppe than Gras! Their edible assortment is terrific for those folks not interested in smoking .
Worker asked customer if they were a vet then went off on them for not having a VA card or discharge papers on them to prove it. Not cool. Some vets don't go to the VA hospital and never heard of anyone carrying discharge papers with them. They didn't even ask for the discount on the first place.
The staff was super friendly and the product was great, what more can you ask for!I went in on the opening day and was very pleased, I will Definentally be going back!
Graybone is the man, i thought he owned the place. every time i come in he has the best suggestions and all the flower in the shop. I have never left disappointed. Thanks for all the help. Telling all my friends to come here.
