Poor customer service. Had two forms of ID. My OR temp had expired, OR mailed my plastic to wrong address. Had hole-punched still valid out of state ID and offered to grab my passport. Attendant was rude and said they wouldn't accept these. The latter is obvious BS, and she doesn't seem to know the law since every shop I've been to in recent weeks has happily accepted the still valid ID.Guess this place no longer needs my business or that of the dozens of visitors I receive each year. No worries, it's Portland. Plenty of other options.
There are some great options in this neighborhood when it comes to cannabis products, but I'm afraid Natural Wonders is not one of them. They certainly have a geographical advantage compared to many, and their location will offer convenience, undoubtedly, you're walking Hawthorne or making a quick trip to Freddie's across the street. Natural Wonders has been in its current location for a while, and I remember its opening well. I went in only a week or so after it opened and didn't visit again for many months. Now, in total, I've been probably a dozen or so times. There are definitely things I like about Natural Wonders. I like the suppliers that they work with, and the transparency when it comes to just that, the provenance of their products and what makes each grower distinct. Like wine, going from the juice back to the grape, the land, and the grower. Marketing, but nevertheless it gives one a framework that helps us conceptualize the various flower. Quality is so-so. They do offer top-tier growers, often offering fantastic and rare strains. But just as often, their menus are filled with generic-seeming "mids." One can exclaim loudly that this or that is a CBD powerhouse, but at the end of the day it is a lowly-looking strain filled with seeds, brown, loosely configured, smelling of hay, and incapable of producing a high. I've found the staff at Natural Wonders too often pre-occupied with their own activities to ever pay much attention to clientele. Often there will be two or three socializing and the customer will be like a third leg, with an unfortunate and instantly-regrettable greeting formed hastily out of obligation onto the landscape of social cues and gesture. I always feel uncomfortable here. The staff is rude and even more so, arrogant. Undeservedly so, since they don't come off as especially knowledgeable nor do they seem to be at that cutting edge of their industry. Natural Wonders is by far the most expensive store like it, in the area. Hence it being mostly trafficked by tourists and travelers. Many tourists are so shell-shocked or impressed at the sight of legal marijuana, they won't really question the prices or the quality-to-price ratio. On my most recent visit, they offered one strain for $20/gram. This at a time when there is a glut in the supply of marijuana and consequently most shops are lowering their prices. Go down the street to Cannabis Connection, or down to Division and 37th, where Brothers is located, or to the newly opened Amberlight. These stores have universally recognized the fundamental market forces currently at work in the cannabis economy and have responded by lowering prices across the board. Many strains are now available for far less than $10/gram currently. The outdoor harvest was unexpectedly large, and the indoor market has also seen a huge increase in supply. Simultaneously, demand has actually lowered in many areas. I don't know why, but I feel as though Natural Wonders has been getting progressively worse. Again, prices have risen recently. On a recent visit I was told I could not touch or hold the tiny container of mj, but rather could only smell it. And of course, they have no marijuana openly on display, so if any interests you, you must ask to see it (but don't ask to touch any!). This is, again, the only example like it I have encountered within this industry. I also haven't encountered the same behavior at any shops within Colorado, California, nor Washington. Draw your own conclusions. I've been to cannabis dispensaries throughout the west-coast and Colorado, and I frequent SE dispensaries. Natural Wonders is by far the worst.
Came in while on a road trip and the guys here hooked it up, making me feel at home in Portland. I got the Chernobyl which is the best Sativa I've tried. And the cans that some of their top products from Geek labs come in are awesome! Would recommend if you're looking for TOP QUALITY
Being from out of state, it felt wrong being in a store to buy marijuana. Like I was breaking the law, but NOPE! As of early June it's also legal to buy low dose edibles in the state of Oregon (wiiiin). From the outside it looks like a regular little shop.. Accompanied by an intoxicating aroma. From the moment I walked in, everyone was very helpful and professional. It was my first time ever in a dispensary so I didn't really know what to do. The guy at the counter saw me eyeballing the sodas and gave me some recommendations. I went with the Rainier Cherry and it was THE BOMB. Tasted exactly like carbonated tart cherry juice, not that cough medicine cherry flavor. Super high quality stuff... Pun intended. I drank the whole thing in one sitting (as it is low dose) and had a nice fuzzy feeling for the rest of the day as I wandered around Portland. It was around $13 I think. Prices for the flowers were good too! A pre-roll costs around $5 but can go up depending on quality. Highly recommending this place!
Cool little shop here. Decided to pick up some stuff after lunch and saw this place was walking distance. Cool how you can walk into any shop in Portland. They don't have any flower on display, but they will show you anything you are interested in. Haven't tried their product yet, but they do have CBD that my girlfriend and I really like.
Great visit tonight. Budtenders working where 100%, quality products, reasonable prices, beautiful atmosphere. Excited to come back soon!
Awesome place with cool people. Went here to try out some legal marijuana and couldn't have met some nicer guys.Since I'm new to the game, I was able to see and smell what I wanted. The guys were very attentive to my needs and I finally found what I wanted. Top notch place and highly recommended!
A cute corner dispensary that's hidden but you'll know when you open the doors. They check your ID at the counter, and i highly suggest grabbing one of their business cards because they are crutch papers too! The people inside were knowledgeable and have tried things first hand to provide recommendations and suggestions. Cartridges here a more expensive than other dispensaries I've been to in portland. They have a cool large joint roller with Chong's face on it hah. I helped a friend pickup a vape pen for $10. Overall good experience and service! Cash only but they have an ATM machine inside.
Excellent customer service, top shelf products, and convenient location. I LOVE this place.
Good shit. My wife, April, and I love to come here as part of our Saturday date nights. My fav strain is the "Wonder Goo." It makes me feel soft and dangerous. April likes the "Casimir Cush," but idk if they have it there.Anyway, sweet staff and sweet guys all around. One guy who was working there was pretty cute, he was like really helpful and let us take our time. There was also a girl that checked out IDs and she was so chill, what a good friendo.
Came in and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The girl who helped us (septum piercing) knew her shit and provided us very helpful information on the different selections we had. The aesthetic of the office is
Everything is top shelf this is a connoisseurs shop with accommodating staff with affordable prices!
I was visiting several dispensaries around the city and felt like this locstion resonated with me the most. Very friendly down to earth staff and knowledgable as well. The guy who helped me picked out some great live resin and scooby snax flower. Great discount opportunities for sure. Will definitely visit again +++
Great location and the nicest most helpful staff! I recommend grabbing a preroll and smokin it on the way to House of Vintage.
Love this place! The staff was very welcoming and seemed to enjoy what they do. They were well versed in their products and community, which made the experience more enjoyable. The flowers were beautiful and very fresh. Great selection of edibles and oils. Also, they try to get products in their store to cater to medical patients, which is great. Loved the CBD selection!. Wonderful experience all around!
The staff is very knowledgable and professional. The lobby where you're greeted and the display case are spotless! It's an organic shop and they're proud of their establishment. One guy Made suggestions on sativa strains for my adventure to the Japanese Garden. In addition, he gave recommendations on nearby smoke shops & restaurants. Highly recommend this place.
Simply the best shop in this area with the nicest and most knowledgeable staff. Go here for top quality!
Friendly staff, awesome buds and the sweetest dog who will greet you at the door. Love that this place is near my home. Will be back again and again.
Man, these guys are the best. Very knowledgeable about products and the overall market compared to other shops. Natural Wonders presents such a qualitative standard of service that whenever I go to other dispensaries, I'm often disappointed. I'm not even going to begin explaining how beautiful their setup and strain presentation is, but the way they organize their products allows for a quick and easy purchase. It's become the only place I go to.The store is locally owned and established by awesome people with super friendly approaches to sales. I love this place, you will too.
This place kicks ass! Friendly staff, great range of product and convenient location (for me, anyway). I like the setup with the jars, so you can see/smell what you're gonna get before you buy. It's super easy to get in and out, and you're never kept waiting long. Great selection of oils and pre-rolls, too.So glad this place is right in my neighborhood! Ask for David; he's the best!
Super friendly staff with a wide selection of goodies to choose from. From recreational to medicinal it was fun to see what kind of products were available. They also had an adorable dog. Would recommend if you're in the area!
Fabulous service. The guys really know their flowers. Great selection & beautiful artwork too. Worth checking out definitely!
This place is awesome! The guys that work here are knowledgable, friendly, and you can tell they really love what they do. All of the stuff is organic and sustainably grown, which makes this place unique and definitely worth the visit. Highly recommend this spot.
Great selection good prices nice people good location bid tenders are noliable and kind. I would decently go back
It was our first time visiting a marijuana dispensary, and the people here were so professional, informative and nice! They explained everything to us, to ensure we got what we wanted. They had a good selection of Vape pens and cartridges. Definitely recommend!
There are a couple don'ts that natural wonders has shown me. They don't make you wait, they don't rush you, they don't twist any arms and you don't leave upset. Jackson is a funny guy too as long as you're not a dick-bag .
This place was nice on the inside and the people working were cool, but I didn't really like the weed options. Probably won't go here again because of that.
I called before hand to see what pens and cartridges they had available an the answer I got was 1g of thc cartridges for 50. When I got there the only full gram cartridge was cbd dominant. When looking at the selection of cartridges I was told were grams, I read the print on them and it said 800mg. I asked about this and their answer was somethin to the extent of "that's pretty much a full gram." It tastes good and the pen is quality, I just feel like I was being treated like I didn't know anything, like the difference between cbd and thc or .8 and 1 gram.
Visited this place today as a rec customer. Though the staff was very knowledgeable they shorted me on the gram of Skywalker Blueberry I picked up. At $13 a gram I expect at least 1.0 grams not .83. Will be returning to Portland but never to this place again
Came in while in a lot of pain from a back injury. Front desk staff was friendly, but the other workers were pushy and seemed more concerned about selling and making a profit than getting me what I actually needed. I usually go to Nectar where I can use my card to pay but they did not have that capability here. Ended up walking out with nothing and still in a great deal of pain. Would not recommend and will not be coming back
This place is awesome and it's the only place I go. The staff is friendly, professional and very knowledgable. The product is quite good and they seem to really care about working with the best growers. The space is pleasant and relaxing. I can't recommend these guys more!
Great assortment of products, and the staff is consistently wonderful and helpful. I don't always go in knowing what I want, so their expertise and patience is much appreciated! I've made it my regular stop!
I can't wait to run out of weed, now that these guys are my friends. Just two blocks from my front door. They keep me informed on all the best flowers coming into their shop. This is the only place I patronize for recreational marijuana.
this place is fantastic. i'm lucky enough to live nearby but it's worth going out of the way to. all the people are amazing and helpful. the product selection is really amazing. i've only bought flowers but they have a wide variey of edibles that i'll try as soon as is allowed. Jackson is very helpful and this place is worth 5 stars for sure!
Went in for wax. To be fair, I am from California so I am used to lower prices, but they were charging $75 for $25 worth of wax. I ended up buying a gram (turned out to be a preroll) from a concealed cylinder that turned out to be what I would consider a $3 shake joint from the places I am used to. Unbelievable rip off. I assume these 5 stars were incentivized.
Natural Wonders has award winning growers and oils to choose from. It's hard to make a decision sometimes when you get to smell everything.
Place great location great stuff great comparative prices very pleased. Phone gonna die.
This place is proper. Relaxed atmosphere. Knowledgeable staff. Fire meds!!! They definitely took care of me. I'll most definitely be back.
Natural Wonders is a great place that turns a difficult location into a destination worth seeking out. If driving you'll have to park around the corner. If you're already in the Hawthorne Neighborhood near Cesar Chavez Blvd. it's an easy walk. The staff is very friendly and most helpful. There are no better products available.
This is our new favorite dispensary! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgable and they had a gorgeous variety of products that were soaking up all the good energy from the many beautiful crystals that are scattered around the shop!
Was looking for a pen and heard these guys were the place to go. I wasn't wrong! Good selection. Great prices. Even better service.
A little pricier than most dispensaries I go to, BUT, their selection is second to none and they always have a wide variety of top shelf gas for you to drool over. I never like seeing 20 a gram strains at any dispensary but they only ever have a couple of those here (from what I've witnessed obvi) and the buds are extremely flame. fortunately this place isn't as egregious price wise as Oregons Finest which will literally sell you 7point Oregon strains $6 per gram more ($22 a gram!) than you could get them a mile down the road at Serra Cannabis ($16ish after tax.) or elsewhere. My only complaint is I don't like dispensaries who pre weigh out eighths & grams etc, that eliminates any opportunity to get hooked up slightly when its being weighed out or to pick out nugs you like. I know that may sound dumb since its a business but its also in your best interest to keep the customer happy and wanting to come back, and a 3.7g eighth will do that more than a 3.5 on the dot eighth will. I've been hooked up at Serra Cannabis, Farma, Treehouse Collective etc etc, all places that weigh out what you want when you choose. Think of it like a fast food restaurant, there are the mcdonald's/wendy's/burger kings of the world that have food sitting around and they just grab it when ya order, and then theres the Culvers, In-n-Outs, Shake Shacks, etc that make your shit as its ordered. (guess which ones are better reviewed lol.) Still, a great place to grab amazing weed. If you're in the area, go here.
Nice shop, good selection, nice workers, loved the dab selection, top notch flower. And love the new location I was unaware of where y'all moved so I was going to tetra, but yesterday their manager Lost me.
I called 3 different dispensaries asking them about their concentrates and Jackson at Natural Wonders was the only one who knew his products enough to answer all my questions. When we arrived we were greeted warmly by Jackson who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks for the great service and for caring about our health, we appreciate you!
This is one of PDX's hidden cannabis gems. I had heard of this magical spot a couple of years ago and never made it in until recently. They had a product I was looking for that I couldn't locate anywhere else in SE PDX at the time. When I walked it I was greeted by a friendly and highly (hehehe) knowledgeable staff. The prices are reasonable for the quality brands that they carry. If you're a heady glass fan, the shop has some phenomenal pieces that are gallery worthy. Don't leave SE Portland without visiting this charming dispensary.
The worst. Bad employees/customer service and even worse prices. They pride themselves on "top shelf" quality, but don't be fooled. There are too many other options out there, so just don't waste your time here.
Staff was great! Selection was awesome!! We visited here several times during our week long trip. We will be back again!!!
I haven't even stepped foot into this shop yet and I am already beyond impressed by the customer service Jackson provided. As someone who's worked in the industry awhile, Ive seen the decline in customer service and just talking to someone on the phone who was helpful and actually seemed to give a f! What a refreshing experience. I can't wait to come see what's inside Thanks for caring
Love that the store has a welcoming vibe. Feels more intimate because of the size of the shop. Great customer service, enjoyed supporting local business! Would recommend
The best shop around! Period. Very informative staff and family owned. Definitely would recommend to friends
I just wanted to say how helpful Wyattt is! Always so helpful and never steers me wrong with his recommendation! In fact alI keep comin back for more! Very nice, friendly and inviting always feel good about giving them my money
Poor customer service. I hope that business is good. I will not return.
I would love to give this place a better review. The employees seems nice and the location is clean and bright. The reason for the 1 stars is I called ahead to make sure they had what I wanted. I was informed that Saturday is discount on concentrates and that this month they where doing an even bigger discount because of Halloween (30%) off! Unfortunately when I went in they did NOT give me 30% off and the 1 item i went in for was not discounted AT ALL! I drove way way out of my way to try this place out Unfortunately I had to take my business some place else. Like TJs on powell. (I am not affiliated, work for or receive a discount for promoting them) I can see with there prices they don't need to keep customers. Concentrates are 6 dollars more expensive then my closest dispensary on a daily. Disappointed because the reviews on here seem to hype this place up.
I have frequented Natural Wonders quite a bit over the years and, while I've never had any complaints about the customer service, I've now purchased two top shelf ounces from them over the last several months and absolutely nothing was fresh. Each genetic smelled dull, monotone and aged. I even found jar rot on one of the strains so I just had to throw it all away. When I found the jar rot, I called the dispensary and spoke to a manager who told me that I was wrong, it wasn't jar rot, it was just from the flower being over cured. As a professional grower on the recreational market, I can identify jar rot very easily. Honestly, you can smell it without even looking so I'm very surprised that batch was even put on the shelves to begin with. Even if it wasn't jar rot and was, as the manager said, just an over cured flower, then why are you selling it for $17/g? Overall, it just seems like a waste of money to shop here when I can get the fresh batches of things at other shops around town. $17/g for something that is six months old is unacceptable and I would be embarrassed to sell that to my customers. Don't even get me started on how they sell outdoor and greenhouse grows for $12 and $14/g... I can get fresh Evans Creek for $15/g, why would I buy outdoor or greenhouse for an equivalent price? Management needs to seriously wake up to the fact that they're really taking advantage of their customer base. Shop somewhere else that actually appreciates you. Like Treehouse Collective.
Wow just wow. They curate high quality, local, organic and solventless products. I loved the lemonade and their pre rolls on sale what a great deal! Their staff is really knowledgeable and friendly.
The staff is so helpful and friendly. Loved the experience. I’ll definitely come back
