I have a great experience here every single time I visit. I've been going for quite some time. I've tried a few other dispensaries but none of them are on the same level. They are open until 9pm, super convenient. They are located on the corner and have signs that you cannot miss and parking is always available right by the front door. The building its self is cool, kind of old with some charm. Walking in through the front double doors you come in and it's a little darker, wood covers the walls with a classic floor. The desk is there with an always nice person sitting there to greet you. They always seem genuinely interested in how your doing and they are good about sparking up conversation. They check your ID, they say "so and so is available to help you with your selection, you can go in when you're ready" or something close to that. You go in through a dark wood door and the room it's self is nice, clean, chandeliers and actual thought went into making this actually seem like a nice, classy place. It's like going from visiting a liquor store on SE Burnside to a liquor store in the Pearl District. The people are always incredibly nice and friendly and knowledgeable and will answer all of your questions no matter how new you sound. The weed is an awesome selection and the quality is all there. They always have a printed list with prices, strains and strengths updated and easy to read. They have edibles and pretty much anything you could need and they are always ready to tell you about their favorite strain. On your way out there is a box of candy always preparing you for the fun that is about to begin. Love this place.
I visited LAWC for therapeutic purposes for arthritis treatment, based on my ND's recommendation. The staff was very knowledgeable about all of the CBD and CBD-THC products. They spent a lot of time, patiently explaining the range of options, concentrations, delivery methods, etc. No pressure to purchase. Highly recommend.
I've visited this shop several times since it is the closest to my house. However, this last time was not the best experience. There were no percentage ratings of THC/CBD levels on the signage displaying the strains. When I asked the employee, she said that the owner decided to take them down because it "confuses people". When I told her that every store in Portland provides that information and as a customer, I come in expecting to see it. The cashier said that the owner doesn't care about customer feedback or having them up and she isn't changing her mind. She could not tell me the actual percentages and was just guessing as I asked - said I could look on the leafly app. Well, I'll just look for another dispensary on the app. You may get feedback about different customers having different experiences with different strains of marijuana, but it doesn't mean you take away information. Rather, you should educate your employees and yourself.
I love this place! I've been here twice since moving here from Indiana. They are so helpful and just so nice. They will answer your questions to the best of their ability and it's so sweet. I'll definitely be back and I'm definitely recommending this place to anyone and everyone !
Caring staff who go the extra mile. Been frequenting this establishment for well over a year. I love the atmosphere and the products. I'm medical and they have my medicine. Their pricing is outstanding too. One of their managers (Joey) is an outstanding guy! Super glad I found this place.
I really want to like this place because it's practically next door. Honestly the worst service I've experienced in the industry and I worked in it for 4+ years. The females are at least some what sociable if I initiate, but the men are just totally checked out. Zero enthusiasm from anyone, zero help with product selection even when I give them a specific note like "a sleepy indica." They prefer to talk to each other than customers. And definitely don't go after 8pm because you will absolutely be treated as a burden even if you're the only person in there. My boyfriend (who doesn't smoke) once went in to get an indica for me and was directed to purchase green crack......*face palm*. And the prices aren't great either. Not sure why any of them are working in this industry as it doesn't seem any of them give a shit about it. I can't imagine being a first time cannabis customer and this being my introductory experience :/ makes the whole movement look like crap. Step it up, guys. We're trying to set an example in Portland. You're being a real drag.
Was my go to after work shop. Till I realized they're quite a bit more expensive than others. Even after being a frequent flyer here, I was denied at the door for my ID being 2 days expired. Lame. Go to the other 20 stores nearby. Much cheaper!
This place is awesome!!!!great selection of weed joints edibles drinks the staff is really cool I'm from la I really like this place I loved it awesome looking forward to visiting Portland and coming to this little gem and get my greens!!
I literally cannot day enough nice things about this place, they are always accommodating, Miranda specifically! Great prices, great selection.
One of their strains gave me bad hives. Ive never had any issues like that over many years. Too bad I bought a lot, all she said was she's "really sorry dude" and nothing else. Waste of money and health. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
I frequent this shop regularly. Covid restrictions just lifted 6/30/21. I was slightly annoyed when I walked in and was asked to put on a mask (albeit politely). I am fully vaccinated, I thought. I went into the room to make my purchase and after some basic conversation with the bud tender helping me, I asked him when he thought masks would be lifted? He explained to me that they have a lot of immunocompromised cancer patients that aren't comfortable around people not wearing a mask. Goodness, I feel like an asshole, as I should. This makes absolute perfect sense and I 100% support this! I can wear a mask (esp. as a rec user) to help make sick people feel better while they are getting their medication. How professional and virtuous of this business. We lost my my husbands mother and my step mother to cancer and they too, had to be exceptionally careful not to get sick. Thank you Little Amsterdam for putting your vulnerable patients first!
Update your online menu.It sucks to drive 45 minutes after ordering online, getting a conformation and then a text saying it's ready for pickup only to drive 45 minutes to be told you dont even have any on the shelf.ThanksThe other products are good, but you won't get what you ordered.
Little Amsterdam is a very friendly very clean shop. They have a wonderful selection of purely CBD products as well as the THC products. Each is separated from the other so there is no confusion. The check in process is smooth and easy, their rewards program is an extra bonus and the staff is helpful. What I like most about the store is that it is nice and wide open so that you do not feel cramped alongside another customer.
Great selection - the top shelf options are worth the prices in this shop.
Great place with great prices! Good selection of edibles and their prerolls are always rolled with good bud.
Worst Service Ever, the personnel here are rude, uneducated and always with a Know it all aptitude, its terrible. DO NOT GO HERE ...
The flower that I purchased was of very good quality. I hadn't been to this store before, and I have to say however, that this was the worst store display I have ever seen. The jars of bud were barely visible. Lit by a a faint purplish glow that did not allow you to see any of the natural colors whatsoever. Every single strain looked the exact same under the dim light. Couple this with the fact that there was not a menu. Not even signage next to the jars with any information. You could accidentally buy a strain with no THC or too much THC and you wouldn't have a clue what you are receiving because the information is not available. I had to choose 2 strains that I was familiar with already from other shops and will not be returning to this one.
Really cool historic Portland building hosts this fun spot with lots of options and plenty of knowledgeable people to help you even if it’s your first (or millionth) time buying from a dispensary. Stop by after brunch at Buffalo Gap next door for a great start to a Sunday Funday.
