I am a local here in drain and I have grown up here all my life, I really don't like that the employees at this location will not show you product unless you pry it out of them. They do not take ownership of locations issues. They also refer you to a product that is not best for you, it seems like they care about making the sale and this is not what this community is about. We want to trust our local marijuana sellers, they have ok prices but when you go in and go to pay they don't give the price shown on the menu and won't own up to it or change it, they just say "oops guess it's not that price, oh well". I guess that's cool???! I will not recommend any family or friends to this location. I will drive to the roseburg location or just go up north to a different dispensary. I think the staff has a big part in this, the environment doesn't feel small town or homey. They employees do not work well together and will let each other  struggle when a line of people come in. I really enjoy staying local but maybe not for all things.

Employees where really nice the bud was ok at best there concentrates where crap crap crap. When i brought it to there attention i was told i did not have to buy it.. it was my 1st time so i had no idea it was so bad. So i did in fact have to buy it. Location is creepy. Store is so f&#king white.Wont be back

Bought some "dank nugs" a while back. This was before the days of legal recreational edibles, so I was gonna cook up my own. The budtender was utterly unhelpful about intended mode of consumption, not able to recommend a strain or quantity to use in my edibles - instead only repeating again and again that edibles weren't yet legal. No s***, that's why I'm buying some buds to cook up myself.The goods that I ended up buying were a good price, and were pretty potent. Since the budtender was of no help, I turned to the internet for info about cooking edibles, and ended up uncomfortably high for about 36 hours, which could have been totally avoided if the guy had just told me how much is recommended for a noob to use in edibles.If my stash of homegrown nugs runs out, I might go back here due to the good price and selection, but I won't be expecting any useful tips from the staff.

Bad products that they don't stand behind and rude service! With so many great places to go, no need to come back here again!

Nice staff but I keep finding seeds. Also seems like the owners could put a bit more into it, saw the car she drives and store is shabby.

Go there quite often, and have never had a complaint. Every one there is very helpful and very nice. Very stark and white, and when they have music playing, it gets a little loud and irritatingMaybe some sound deadening decor would be nice?Otherwise a no frills dispensary, nobody holds your hand there. You are in and out quick, no B.S. or attitude, that's what I like!

The 4 stars are based on the service, particularly at this second visit. In part because I've only been in two dispensaries. Ugly room, white, no windows. They have a very wide selection of flowers. Prices keep inching up. But that's just how it is. Might as well have a friendly bud-tender, know you're paying a fair price cause you've webbed around, and just think of getting high soon. With so many dispensaries around I like staying closing to home, which could be an error.

The service is terrible. The girls that work there are super sassy and are always too busy talking to each other rather than helping out the customer.The options are limited and crappy. Twice they've been too busy, talking, to pay attention to the weight of bud I asked for and almost shorted me till I mentioned something. Won't recommend and won't be back.

SUPPORT LATINA-OWNED WEED SHOPS!! Weed is weed, I have a few options in my hood, and I choose to support young Latina entrepreneurs. GREAT SELECTION. GREAT DEALS. Kind, knowledgeable, and helpful staff, no one is a creep here (very important)! Very clean and mod interior, apparently that's a bad thing to these other reviews?? I prefer a shop that isn't chaotic or stressful, and the vibe here is open, clean, and chill. Git it girls.

When in on a Friday midday super chill. She even took the time to bullshit with me about   A movie we both hated. They had exactly what I wanted at a great price and she was super sweet

La Mota is a sham of a dispensary in SE Portland. DON'T EVER GO THERE! They cheat you out of whole grams, advertise strains not available, and price gouge/raise prices within 24 hours. Lines take forever because staff is untrained. I was given 1 gram less product at poorer rate than advertised and owner or manager would not make good on admittedly bad deal. Waited for over half an hour to complain with no result and staff were unprofessional, unknowledgeable, and careless. This place also advertises strains that they don't have. They claim they are all out of product more often than not. Asked about at least 5 products that were listed but supposedly sold out or not available. Went back the next day and rates were higher on multiple strains!

Worst customer service ever! Got a pen for Christmas that didn't work, so took it back. The shop in NE didn't have any replacements so they called the SE shop - the mother shop - and said to go down there. Drove all the way down there, to be told that they don't do replacements for items bought at a different location! Never going here again!

They sold me a bong and the stem broke after a couple uses.  Ive been buying weed there every day for a year.  Every single day.  I brought the bong back and they would not exchange it for me.  I will never go there again because they burned me over something so small because they sell bad glass.

These guys made it seem like they had some fire.......herb was just ok...cool host but the product sucked

Worst dispensary I have ever been to. I am an avid customer at MANY different dispensaries around Portland. Their product is sub par bar far! I tried to select the best strain to meet my needs. I picked a high THC with moderate CBD for my body pain. I got home& my weed was weighed wrong! I received a lower weight than what I paid for. Plus there were seeds in my weed& a heavy stem. I called the location& they said to come in to the location. I drive AL THE WAY BACK from deep Oregon City(only dispensary open at the time of purchase)& they looked at my recipe& product& said they could t help me. Keep in mind I'm a female that drive 20 minutes to buy this the back home& there again& they said that they couldn't do anything about it. So why did you have me come back? I would never recommend this place to anyone! Their unprofessionalism, rude remarks and behavior & complete lack of customer service is astonishing& I wish people like this didn't chose this industry. Find another profession.

Cannot speak on the other reviewers experience. I only smoke flower. I will say the overall ambience of the interior is very white??? If that is what he means???? Lol WeirdAnyways, I on the other hand love La Mota and come from Beaverton just to visit them usually once a week and re-up. They have a friendly staff, a huge!!!!!! selection to satisfy ANYONE rec or med, and -wait for it- here's the best part THEY TAKE CREDIT CARDS!!!!!! yeah i said it. I assume both locations do but I have only visited the south side. Very helpful pricing listings with tiers/shelves which I love.

Very helpful great attitude good prices dank bud not sure what people are bitching about The girl who weighed me out was even de-stemming the bugs for me before weighing each one. That right there is what I call customer service It's a little bright and no windows but if that's gonna stop you from buying from there news flash dog it's a bud store your not living there go in get out smoke up

This place is the worst dispensary I've ever been too.  It's filthy, there's very limited selection, and the flower is pricey for the quality.  The budtenders are always changing so they never know what they're talking about.  The newest one with the bright red hair had some major attitude and didnt even try to help me.  Won't be going back to the ghetto dispensary

I was led in by their sign offering top shelf grams for half price.  I thought this to be a fantastic way to bring in new clients.   A good way to introduce us to what they have to offer by giving a half price sampling .  So I stopped to shop.the star is for the awsome bud tender who did a great job at showing me things based on my likes.  He took it like a champ when I blew up after finding out my 2  1gm selections were priced at $24.00   Each before the 50% discount.  Turns out they are looking for frequent fools to support their business.   Shame Sham Shamed

Great prices. Great staff. The only bad aspect is that it is always a hassle getting checked out. Complicated process, what with scanning, packaging, ID-ing, etcetera.Nonetheless, this is my favorite dispensary.

Can't bring myself to shop anywhere that let's their property look like this. They obviously don't care about their neighbors or how they show up in the neighborhood.

I really appreciate that this store opens at 8:00am on Sunday mornings.  I've gone in the past couple of weekends and have thanked them for being open early.  Wanted to show my support further and leave this review - the employees and the Woman who I believe to be the owner are always friendly and knowledgeable and make the process easy.  They also have great deals that I enjoy.  The world needs a little more positivity in it these days and I'm happy to do my part.  Thank you for running your business the way you do, it's appreciated!

Bait and switch They advertise product they NEVER have. If you order $2 to $5 grams online 100% of the time they will call and tell you they are out. They advertise $2 grams. They never have any in stock. Budtenders are nice. Ownership/management is an embarrassment to the industry. Inconsistencies in product details, prices, names, potency. Ive purchased a strain one day and went back days later to be given completely different bud being sold under the same name. Its smoke and mirror. Go someplace else like Disp on 52nd or ElectLettuce instead.

1st time in LaMota and came with a friend. Budtender had us laughing a lot and was totally helpful. Great deals happening today- Thanks!
