Unfortunately, I had to stop supporting this dispensary a block away from my house as they became an unsafe space for the queer community. A trans woman was harassed and verbally assaulted by a customer, and the staff did nothing to protect the woman or remove the customer. They simply stood aside and let it happen, doing nothing to help the woman that was being harassed, and letting the a**hole who did it stay in the room the whole time. With that they proved that they are not here for the queer community here on the hill. In addition to this event, Nectar is the Chillis of dispensaries - they bought out Divine Kind and left all of the previous employees without jobs - they kept a few and slowly over the weeks let them go (talking to the previous employees this became apparent). I went to Nectar for the first 3 months it was open on a weekly basis, and I noticed some things that really threw me off - let's starts with their $3 joints. They sell joints that are $3, advertising the THC levels of the strain they contain. However, these joints are purely shake, mostly leaves and stems, and actually possess a much lower amount of THC due to lack of bud, but they advertise the % that the actual bud has. Bud THC %, while from the same batch, is going to be a very different % than the amount that is on the leaves and stems. I was buying these for weeks and thought my tolerance had gotten too high because I was barely feeling a thing - and then I realized that it was because I was actually getting maybe 7% at max. In addition to this disheartening discovery, when I would come in I would always be pressured to buy more, regardless of the amount I was already purchasing. When you go in it feels like you have to prep to be barraged by pitches from every employee there, and it's overwhelming. I was hopeful about this dispensary coming into the hill, and loved having the selection to choose from, but they quickly showed that they do not care about the community in our neighborhood like previous dispensaries did, they're simply here to profit as much as they can.
I have visited this location quite a few times. I used to visit their location on SW Barbur. This location has a much nicer parking lot and they offer extra parking in the back.It is clean and very well stocked.I went in yesterday looking for information on two products that I had never tried before. The budtender was very patient with me, as well as very knowledgeable about the products I was inquiring about.Every time I come into Nectar, I'm satisfied with their service and product.Oh yeah, they have the best deals around!
So I opened google maps to find desserts near me & this popped up. Imagine my surprise when I drove to the nearest desert place and it was indeed not dessert. I ended up buying a few things and the staff was nice. Great store and very clean. Don't go here if you're looking for dessert though.
Went in today with 2 vape cartridges that had issues pulling (working), and they let me exchange them! On top of that, there was more money for the return than the replacement, so I got to get a bunch of other stuff with the leftover return $$! Brittany who helped me was AWESOME!!! I highly recommend this place, I had a great experience. The only thing I would say is maybe 1 more person working behind the counter, or at least somewhere in the back and able to pop out and help when it gets busy.
I have been into Nectar Burlingame probably close to 10 times. All very friendly. I went in today and the lady who checked my ID turned it down. I'm glad you probably feel proud of your for catching a fake identification, however you have already sold to me 10 times illegally! That's not too good for your business rep, and I thought you would be much smarter than that. But I guess that's what you get for going to a nectar! Shop small and shop exclusive, not nectar.
Nice knowledgeable staff. Pretty good selection with reasonable prices. I've found this location is nicer then the others. Parking is a little tight but If you go at slow times it's not so bad.
Update: I was able to speak to the district manager and the conversation regarding being good neighbors was a productive one. I admire a conversation based on mutual respect. The truth is I am a customer as well and I've always enjoyed going across the street and learning about the benefit of medicine. Thanks Coulter for the conversation! Marti
Disappointed, the girl at the counter thought that I had a fake ID. I understand some people are dishonest but i felt like I was discriminated against. The products i was interested in were miss marked. They some how were 9 dollars more each. Overall wouldn't visit again, felt like my trust was violated and was cheated out of 18 dollars.Cross posted on Google.
turned me away even though im 21. dont rlly get it but ok. go to attis instead. anyways....
Terrible quality weed that is harvested over a year before they sell it. So many wonderful dispensaries to choose from that will actually sell you a quality eighth for the same $20. They sell you cartridges like select with different names even though they are all sister companies made by nectar and have terrible reviews. The owner of select even has a few sexual misconduct charges under his belt. Why this place wants to be the walmart of weed is beyond me. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.
This place literally turned me and our friends away even though our ID's are real and we are 21. Whatever system they use to check IDs clearly does not work. Absolutely ridiculous. yeah so go to Attis if you want cheap good weed
Great location, clean store, easy to read pricing and packaging... What more can you ask for? Apparently amazing sales folks and hella big selection. They have that too.
I"m not a weed smoker so I can't speak on the quality of the product. We stopped by for some CBD drops, which helps sleeping. Not knowing anything about the products except small items from the internet, the team was very helpful walking us through the products. I learned more in 20 minutes than a couple of hours on the internet. The only issue I have s the products prices are not clearly marked. I hate stores where you have to ask the price and the salesman makes it up as they go...Overall the we got what we were there to buy and I would try Nectar again.
Awesome bystander great deal
Top shelf employees running a top shelf shop.
Great staff.white label is always stocked with a great variety of other tasty oils.
