Great service. They have a special book under the counter, all handmade and crafty, that spells out the terpene profile of each strain that they currently have. If you want to dial in your experience, the staff can show you and explain the terpene info in this book. Budtender Kyle was happy to dive in to the geeky details and recommended what is now my favorite strain, Alien Apple Warp. An aside, every time I read it my brain says "alien apple wrap" instead, as if it's a sandwichy type thing using a tortilla.
Amazing experience. They chart the terpenes of the strains they sell. They know the growers and their processes (recycled soil, organic fertilizers, etc) and gladly explain them. This is an approachable and unpretentious boutique cannabis shop for consumers with exacting tastes. They will help you find what you are looking for and help you develop a discerning perspective on cannabis.
Beautifully laid out shop and nice variety of products. On this visit I was bringing a friend whom suffers from terrible anxiety but has poor reactions to THC. We were greeted at the front and there was a small wait time to get to the back of the shop. When we got to the back we were immediately greeted and helped by Jeremy whom immediately made a connection with my nervous friend. He took a lot of time explaining CBD/THC ratios and the hows and whys things work regarding psychoactive effects which she was looking to minimize. We felt comfortable immediately with his level of expertise and he asked his peers for assistance if he wasn't able to fully answer our questions. Such an amazing team over at Farma! We left feeling empowered with our purchases. Having visited a number of dispensaries in Oregand despite the fact this one isn't super close to me this will be my main shop due to the level of professionalism, the fair pricing and knowledge of the staff.
If I could give this business a minus star I would. It's the only store in at least two states that does not include the tax in the advertised price. Even if you call to check a price they DO NOT give you the price with tax included. Why would the artificially lower their advertised prices? Your guess is as good as mine. I have my theories. Unless you want to pay more for no reason, do not patronize this establishment.
Farma is my local go to shop so I've been there a lot. I appreciate the endless parade of high potency flowers they stock. I try to get the most premium possible for my sessions and it's wonderful to have somewhere so close by to fill that need. Staff are great as well. Friendly and have given me good suggestions on strains, which is all the more appreciated given the current climate and protocols ie. when I can't smell'em myself I can ask how they taste and more often than not my bud tender has personally tried and can describe to me. I also appreciate the extra care given to spacing people out both in and outside the shop so we can all stay safe. All in all my fave PDX shop.
First time in since Covid hit, overall experience was poor because the staff was really pushy and kept reminding us there was other people waiting in line. This was only after less than 3-5 min and a couple questions. There's too many weed stores in Portland to get this kind of service. Probably my last time going to this one.
I don't really take part in what Farma has to offer, but a bunch of my friends wanted to go here, so I just tagged along. We stopped by on Thursday, December 29th around 1pm.I didn't really do much except look around. One of my friends who bought some of their organically grown varieties said the budtenders were very helpful. The majority of my friends ended up buying edibles. (I think they really only sold chocolate as one of them was looking for gummy bears and couldn't find them.) I know one of them bought a Mint Hibiscus Chocolate Bar ($13): LEIF MEDICINALS | Mint Hibiscus | 10.5mg CBD | 11.1mg THC.The dispensary itself is very sleek. Mostly modern white decor and very clean. I don't really know much about marijuana / cannabis, but the dispensary seemed to have a good variety to choose from. I believe they've won some awards for best selection and best budtender.Great option if you're looking for a dispensary in Portland. The budtenders are super knowledgeable.
The staff is very helpful on the info is very carefully presented. Easy to understand when you have a problem to fix
Best dispensary I've been to so far since moving to Portland. The lineup of strains is fire from top to bottom and I had to cut myself off from buying the whole selection. Top shelf weed. My only minor complaint is the containers they give after purchase hold in no smell at all, so be aware unless you have your own bag for flower you will REEK wherever you go. I recommend using one of the bags they have there to help with smell if you care about that sort of thing. 10/10. best dispensary in PDX...
A few weeks after my recent surgery, and not wanting to take as much(or hopefully any more) Dilaudid, I googled medical marijuana in Portland. Farma came up as highly recommended on both Google's and Yelp's reviews. I called Farma, and someone patiently answered my many questions, about CBD only for pain relief, as well as how obtaining a Medical Marijuana License works.I came into the clinic a month plus later, after having gone to another dispensary nearer to my home. Farma is clean, welcoming, well equipped with people eager to help. It was a good experience for someone new to the world of Marijuana like myself.2018 #15
You dont have to take a chemistry class to buy denk. I wanted a specific strand that you guys didnt have. I'm rating on the distance from my house. Theres another dispensary closer to me and their quality of greenery is about the same. Plus the place that's closer to me, roll sum good patties. You guyses shop is huge and clean which is a plus. Besides the dreadlock dude, most other workers stare with their noses stuck up like they nurtured the weed themselves.
Very clean and organized place. The budtenders are well educated is everything herbal and able to answer all of my questions. Never felt pressured to buy a more expensive flower. They have a great variety of flowers, concentrates, and edibles. Both of my visits have been great.
Let's set the scene--I've been living in New York the last five years, I'm from Portland. I work in Marketing Ops and my friend, aka, shaman is accompanying me to a few different dispensaries. She has a growth marketing background working with some major CPG players in NYC and moved back to Portland to work on her cannabis business. I'm what you call a low-intake consumer, I smoke once a week, if that. My first stop of the day was JAYNE. That was a difficult experience. The budtender, while attractive, was not the most useful. I asked for a pen and recommendations and he gave me a list. Look, I'm not a connoisseur if I took you to a sushi restaurant and all you've had your life if supermarket sushi, I would never throw down a menu in front of you and leave you because you can't tell the difference between hamachi and otoro or even know there's a difference. My friend was casually testing the budtender, and let's just say she wasn't impressed. The place was aesthetically pleasing to look at, but the experience was sub par.My second stop was Oregon's Finest. It was a step above JAYNE, a perfectly fine experience minus the fact the budtender there gave us the complete opposite information than the individual at JAYNE, that distillate is a better experience than CO2 cartridges. The budtender's knowledge of flower was also better than the person at JAYNE. If you're an average or inexperienced smoker, how are you supposed to know who to trust? The last stop of the day was Farma. It was such a nice way to end the day, it's brand and aesthetic matches the experience. Highly curated, pleasing, and educated. I wish they had more cannabis accessories. None of the strains are listed as sativa, indica, or hybrid (because the prevailing belief is there is no difference, it comes down to THC, CBD, and Terpenoid content). The person was incredibly knowledgeable and broke things down for me so that I could understand them as well. Now that I've been to over a dozen dispensaries in the last two years I think I'm just going to stick to Farma and Serra from now on. My consumer exploratory period is over.
Service was great. They made wonderful suggestions. its cash only. Good selection! Would definitely return.
Very nice people. They know their product, good quality for sure. I just wish the CBD products weren't so expensive. Now If I could just find my car. Wait do I own a car? Yes I do! Now what kind was it? Wow glad their on the Bus line.
Awesome shop! Nicely decorated and clean. The workers were helpful and they had a large variety of strains and edibles.
This dispensary is a staple here in Portland, OR I believe it's a must visit location if your dispensary shopping. Not only is a beautiful dispensary but the budtenders are very engaged and knowledgeable about the product which is refreshing. Parking around the area is typical Portland inner city situation.. Find what you can and walk over to the dispensary. Prices are high but reasonable if that makes sense!? But just know that your paying for quality and excellent service also this dispensary is home to some of the best growers and companies Oregan's cannabis industry has to offer.I totally recommend this dispensary for a visit and grab some awesome cannabis or swag while your at it.
Alright, guys. I know a thing or 2 about cannabis. I have a medical card in Colorado and have been consuming cannabis and even making my own edibles for over 10 years. I was in PDX and excited about seeing what Oregon's cannabis industry has to offer, especially after having experienced Seattle's industry the year prior. I did some reading and Farma is one of the places I bookmarked. The inside is nice and I quite like the plant touches here and there. It's chic but still true to being a dispensary. When it was our turn we tried briefly chatting with the budtender, but he was all business and sort of looked through us when we told him we live in Denver and are excited to see what Portland has to offer. They have a color spectrum system I had read about and was intrigued about prior to coming in. We asked about it. He was *very* condescending about Sativa/Indica in his explanation about blues and oranges. When I asked where Ruderalis falls, he paused for my question and then continued what seemed like a canned schpiel after I spoke, not acknowledging what I said, but barreling on. Again, I know cannabis, so I was clear in what I was requesting: something active and uplifting, but without any anxiety (aka a lower-THC Sativa). He gave us something he knew would be perfect. It smelled fine enough, the buds looked well cured and trimmed, so we payed the ridiculous upcharge and left ($16 for a gram? Come on...).I rolled a couple joints from this and we toked here and there. 3 people smoked from this, all of us seasoned smokers, all of us from cannabis legal states. We all agreed that this stuff put us to sleep. We needed WAY more coffee than we normally would have, and even still, we were dragging. He gave us a friggin Indica or Indica-heavy hybrid, but because of the ridiculous color spectrum, I had no idea EVEN THOUGH I was very clear in what I was looking for. How's that for a Portlandia sketch?
Farma's been the best cannabis shop in Portland for years, and don't let other reviews tell you otherwise. New customers get the benefit of tasteful decor and one of the best-informed staffs in the industry, while folks who've shopped here a while get the benefit of being treated like old friends. Either way, the flower selection is impeccable.
Great experience, clean and generous collection. All the bud tenders are very helpful and informative. Really enjoyed my time here !
We have seen reviews of this place and decided to try. I'm not a big pot smoker but wanted something anti inflammatory. I got a $5 tincture sample and a low THC variety to smoke. My friend got two varieties of his favorite and was very impressed with them. Highly informative and professional staff. Great product.
I've been stopping by for a couple years now, and exclusively shop here at this point. Farma has the simplest, most informative product display window I've seen around town. The staff is super friendly, music is always on point, and I'm never dissatisfied with the bud i get from here. They almost always have some outdoor grown, and good deals for those of us that like to throw it all in a joint!
Super friendly and very aesthetically pleasing spot - staff is amazing! The selection is varied and allows for a lot of options / mixing and matching.
This dispensary is simply wonderful! From the staff, to the decor, and finally the overwhelming pleasant scent that hits you as you initially walk in the door. Make sure to have your id ready, because you'll need it to get through the doors. As soon as you step through happiness awaits on the other side. The budtenders here are super kind, personable, and knowledgeable. If you have any questions they throughly take their time and explain all of the products, the effects, and their properties to you. If you are from out of town and you can't take any product or paraphernalia with you, they offer to grind it up for you, and then you can purchase a few raw cones for yourself to smoke from. Their supply smells great, looks fantastic, and is very potent. I purchased the pineapple and Girl Scout cookies. Highly (pun intended) suggest the pineapple! Will definitely have to make a return visit if I'm in Portland again. Thanks guys!
Clean aesthetic, friendly & knowledgeable staff, great selection of high quality products. This is the shop that I frequent the most.
Being a straight up noobie, I definitely needed help as this was my first time flying solo at a dispensary. Lydia was kind enough to walk me through everything ranging from edibles, to flowers, to pre-rolls, and even ice cream (wow). She was incredibly patient and had a great sense of humor as I probably wasn't in the best state of mind to be making decisions when I arrived here (from all the alcohol I drank, duh!).I walked away with some pre-rolls and edibles, and I'd definitely recommend this place if you have no clue what you're doing or just want to pick the brains of a very helpful and informative staff.
Farma is hands down my partner and my favorite dispensary. We've checked out a fair few and the folks at Farma are the most welcoming, friendly, and fun to explore their many options with. As queer folks we have never felt more at home or seen in a dispensary. That is everything!
As a tourist early on in the day I searched cannabis in Portland to see what shops were around. Long story short I never saw too big of a selection(via apple maps) but after dinner nearby in the SE region I came across Farma..... man... GREAT SHOP. Clean. Greats Products. Great service. Great Deals. Can not go wrong. Go check them out. Open until 10 PM. Can't beat it in Portland as far as I've experienced.
The first dispensary I've ever visited and I'm so glad it was here. I don't have many to compare to, only Have a Heart up in Seattle, so I'm not sure how much weight my review will have.Lems wanted to drop by when we were in town last September. I loved the clean, sleek appearance of the shop -- it makes you feel like you're at a real medical office (without the weird doctor/dentist's office smell). I loved how much thought and detail went into the store design & branding, and they even had cool Farma products as well, including adorable mini pipes. Staff was really friendly and welcoming, although our budtender's recommendations were on the weaker side and nothing special. Will definitely visit again if I'm ever back in town!
I love this place! Some strains are priced kind of high but they are usually worth it and do their job =) Everyone is really nice, helpful and professional!I love the set up too! They have the sativas and indicas separated and easy to view. This is my new favorite place when I'm in portland!
Shitty experience. First time there and the person was rude and came off very passive aggressive. Rating 2 stars just because the guy at the door was really nice and welcoming.
I come in this wonderful place pretty often when I am on this side of town. I live deep in Gresham but it is always worth it to come to Farma! The presentation and the environment are phenomal along with a nice selection of greenery. I typically buy their pre-rolls because I have become lazy and I don't want to stuff or roll. Today I grabbed a Key Lime Pie, Midnight And a last laugh. The joints here always give me that great euphoric feeling. Not to mention the smoke is always clean and smooth. The staff is super friendly and I never have to wait. I am in and out in no time. They also have a nice selection of flower and edibles. In my opinion they are one of the top spots in town that's why I continue to go here. A1 customer service! Thank you Farma ...
Do your lungs a favor and score some green at Farma! Super knowledgeable staff and high grade flower. They grow most of their stuff so the control on quality is at the forefront of everything they do!
I was really impressed with how much they knew about their product. If you like knowing what you're getting then definitely come here. The customer service was great as well.
Awesome selection and very reasonable prices! Their pre-packed eighth deal is amazing. The caramel edibles are great bang for your buck.
I wanted a cannabis shop that was both friendly and understanding. I feel like that's exactly what Farma is about. They are so kind and caring. They make sure to cater each product to your needs and always have super good deals going on. I love the look of the shop. It takes the stigma away from cannabis and puts a whole new perspective on it that encourages learning a safe space. I would 10/10 recommended to a friend especially a first timer.
Friendliest knowledge staff. Super clean and professional. Lots of options to chose from.
It's easy to see why they were voted #1. I really like the way the store is organized, and they have some of the friendliest budtenders. Sometimes their prices can be quite high, but when they have solid deals, this is my go-to shop.
Farma has a lot of products to choose from. Budtenders are knowledgeable and patience as you browse. Clean, comfortable atmosphere inside and products displayed are organized.
This was an awesome place to stop in and get immersed into the culture in Washington. They have a wide selection and a very nice glass section. There are many specialty pieces here that you can just browse like a museum or if you have wads of cash falling out of your pockets you can purchase one of the masterpieces on display for a pretty penny. There's a ton of beautiful dispensaries to explore in Seattle and this is defiantly one you don't want to pass up. Make sure you have a horizontal ID to get in and enjoy!
This was a great experience! Kale was super helpful and walked me through all of my questions. Would definitrly come back. Came back way to many times
Very informative and helpful service!! I wanted something very specific involving chronic pain and the rep was able to explain all the options they had! Very professional establishment and did not feel like they were trying to sell me something I did not want as I experienced from other places in Vegas and Cali.
Clearly one of the the best (if not "The" best) place for cannabis shopping in Portland, Or. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and are very capable of articulating the finer points of difference between cannabis strains. I've been using cannabis for years, and in my conversations with the bud tenders they actually managed to clearly explain some things which have always eluded me. As such, I actually feel more confident in my purchases and experience and can ask about chemical compounds and strain breeding in an intelligent way. If your looking for a place to not only pick up an excellent product and possibly a bit of useful information on Cannabis then do yourself a favor; stop by Farma before you go anywhere else.
Farma had a great selection of edibles and staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. The sleek display makes this place feel welcoming and professional.
Great store. Budista was very helpful in leading me towards an edible that was perfect for me. Great selection, and good pricing.
My ALL time fave herb shop . I've been coming here for years . Great customer service , staff knows their canna info AND really good product !!!
This dispensary is very clean and they have a great selection. I got the cutest pre rolls wrapped in rose petals and the herb looks very pure and amazing.
They have a nice selection of high grade flower that's carefully curated and labeled by growing methods, which you dont see in most dispensaries. You can be sure it is all free of artificial pesticides and the flower is well cured.
Clean and modern interior. Good selection and variety. Staff was friendly and helped me find an alternative to a CBD cartridge that was out of stock. Overall good experience.
The staff members here are well-known for their expertise, professional demeanor, and excellence in product familiarity. They always help answer questions and make recommendations. The shop is clean and bright. I highly recommend Farma!
OMMP here- Farma has been my go to place for a while now! They've got hands down the best customer service of any place I've ever been, their selection is pretty astonishing, I looked at all their products and every single item they sell is worth it! Oh my god and farma big ups to you for selling pre rolls that are rolled with actual FLOWER. I've purchased pre rolls at every shop I've ever been in and most (not all) roll up stems, shake and trim. I can tell just from the smell that farma is on point!Keep it up gets you're doing fucking awesome and I am probably gonna be visiting ya in a couple hours.Atmosphere- 5/5 when I walked in I was mesmerized at how everything seemed to fall right into place, everything about their location is bomb because it's right on Hawthorne!Professionalism- 5/5 not only is the farma staff EXTREMELY knowledgable they are not snobby, (I've walked into places as a MEDICAL patient only to be greeted with a grunt and a frown, what the fuck guys you work at a dispensary how the hell can you not be happy! ) VERY FRIENDLY STAFF BEWARE.Price- 5/5 don't get me wrong, farma is a bit pricey compared to some other places but it is WORTH IT. They have the best products for the best price. There's a couple places that have RIDICULOUS prices *cough cough* oregons finest *cough cough*Will I be coming back? YesWill I bring friends? YesAm I writing this review for a .5g pre roll for a PENNY? You bet your ass I am! ;) I love ya guys and I'd work there if I could
Just a great little pot shop that has a great selection and friendly staff. Loved it!
very clean, fancy, and well run establishment. great prices and very helpful staff. alot to choose from.
Grate place good weed hot hipsters and a nice environment prices are a little high but it is a nice shop
This is hands-down my favorite dispensary so far. Awesome, knowledgeable, friendly staff. A frequency punch card! For weed! Dreams do come true. Quality product, every visit so far.
Amazing dispensary! So clean, v helpful staff. Wide selection with great deals. Def would recommend!
One of the better selections in town in my opinion and at pretty standard price points. Staff was super friendly for my first visit, the lady at the front desk was up front about the weed tax that isn't included in the prices so no weird surprises when checking out. This place is definitely worth a visit.
The buying experience was one of the best I have had. The bud tender who assisted me was knowledgable and thoughtful. She made suggestions and really listened to me. Great product options and paraphernalia. Thanks, Farma! We will be back.
We had a lovely first visit to Farma while taking a mini tour of some dispensaries around the area! Our budtender Stella was wonderful, helpful and was very knowledgeable about the products they offered and we got exactly what we wanted! We will definitely be returning :)
On the first day of our honeymoon, straight from the airport, the hubs and I pretty much went straight to Farma. We really weren't sure what to expect, but we've heard nothing but good things. Love- This place is clean, sleek, and just makes you feel good. No really, I think the only other place I've stepped into this clean and organized is maybe a hospital... maybe. - Being from a state that doesn't quite allow for err.. natural remedies at the time of this review, I had no idea what the process was like. Fortunately, their employees are awesome and their policies are clear: you walk in to their small lobby area, hand the receptionist your ID for a once over (confirming age, I assume), and they let you back in to view all of their merch. As of July, they are cash only (I really don't know if that's at all places or what), but there is an ATM literally as you walk in if you don't have any on ya.- Piggy backing off the previous point... no really, their employees are awesome. We went in a few times during the week there... browsing... and every single person we spoke with was so helpful, explained everything, answered every question we had, and made solid recommendations. I'm sure they knew we were tourists, but they really took care of us.- Their apparel. My husband got a grey shirt, I got a black one. We pretty much wear these at least once a week.Dislike- ...I'm in Texas. :) A slight trek to get there. You know we'll be back though.
First time at a dispensary and I truly had a great and comfortable experience. The place was clean, friendly and informative. There was a great selection and my only complaint was that over purchased lol. (But is that really a problem?!) Virginia assisted me and she was awesome. Great vibes all around! Definitely worth trying.
This place is just splendid. Very clean, and very friendly! I've only been in here on one occasion, and was pleased with the experience. I don't smoke, but went with a friend who does. The person who was explaining how everything worked was very friendly, and knowledgable about the product. I wanted to see what was happening in this very popular establishment. Overall... Cool place, clean, and friendly! Would for sure recommend to people who need the good good (;
Awesome for my first experience! Staff was super friendly and super knowledgeable. Can't recommend them enough! Everything was super thorough and detailed. And the shop had a very welcoming feel.
Farma is by far the best dispensary in Portland. Their product high end, with a lot of organic options. And their staff incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. It is clean and bright and welcoming. I look forward to my visits, and could not have made it through hip surgery last year without them!
The layout of this store is super modern. It's what really set this dispensary apart from other ones I've been to in the Portland area. The staff was friendly, yet knowledgeable. Very easy to converse with in order to find the product that was the right fit for me. Highly recommend, cool spot.
Very friendly staff. They had plenty of Rec. strains available and a color coded system to help you see what strains are Sativa vs. Indica and even which way the hybrids lean on that spectrum. Kinda convenient.I wish I could remember my BudTenders name, because I would give him a nice shout out. We had a great conversation through the whole process and talked about more than just the weed. Overall great experience. Prices are a little steep. Steep but competitive for a downtown dispensary. 8-14$/gram30-50 an 1/8th Or close too, from what I can remember. Thanks again guys, I'll certainly be back. Also kinda cool random after thought;I got this Stain called "Essential Sensi" and I went to look it up on leafly and it's not on there. So maybe it's just a new enough stain that it hasn't made it on there. Kinda cool to imagine your smoking a new strain or new hybrid or something. Idk, just thought it was cool.
Wow how is this place shop of the year? Maybe I'm spoiled with the high quality product and service in Seattle, but the budtender that helped me was clearly uneducated. I asked for a strain with a fruity or citrus profile, he showed me a couple different strains and when I asked him to describe the flavor, he tells me I haven't tried it. So i asked him what strains have you tried with the flavor I'm looking for...after a couple eye rolls and lack of wanting to help me, I took his recommendation. Well ladies and gents...his recommendations were garbage. If you're the type that thinks wine is all the same or prefers bud light, this shop is perfect. If you're into more than just getting high, and want to taste different terp profiles with your herb, come to Seattle and get educated.
This was such a different experience from anything in Washington! It looks like a pharmacy on the outside and when you walk in it feels like a club. The budtenders are so friendly and knowledgeable. In Washington most of the dispensaries I've been to all the bud comes prepackaged and you can't really get a good whiff. Here they display the bud answer any questions you have and they keep it in a jar for you to inspect and smell. When you've made a decision they use tongs to weigh and they package it in a pharmacy bottle. How neat is that?! A wonderful experience!
Probably the nicest dispensary I've ever been to. It's so well laid out and the staff is knowledgeable. My favorite product are the wyld 2:1 gummies!
You lost a developing loyal customer-- and advocate. Woman checking in people was rude and power tripping -- I don't put up with that kind of "customer service". And I was being polite. On previous visits most of the staff is helpful and friendly enough to do business ---regardless a bad experience can be a real turn off when spending $$--
In an era when the concept of customer service has been devalued almost beyond recognition, it is more than a little refreshing for me to have such a great experience with the knowledgeable staff at Farma. This establishment is set-up, staffed and operated as a 'professional business'; compared to some of the other dispensaries in town that I've patronized where it feels like I'm reliving the 80's and buying my supplies from 'Billy's' basement.Highly recommended.
Everything you want in a dispensary! Wonderful, knowledgeable, professional and charismatic bud tenders to help you make a balanced decision, beautiful flower and perfect location. Even feature the famous Charlottes web flower! Definitely worth a stop, will not disappoint.
The people that work at Farma are great. They're so knowledgeable and also very helpful with whatever you are looking for. I have gone in looking for advice for several medical issues and they have been able to help with very specific information on how you can use the various products, whether they are edibles, vaping or smoking, and they tell you how to apply each. This is a great store.
One of my favorite places in Portland. Knowledgable staff, especially Ben, always top quality products. Wether you live in Portland or just passing through, Farma is a must.
Wow, this is what dispensaries are supposed to be like. Coming from Denver, this is by far the best in the Portland area that I've been to. Definitely recommend if looking for high cbd strains. The budtenders there are super knowledgeable about their products and super friendly. GET the St. MOUNTAIN HOOD at over 32%thc and 2.6% cbd BEFORE IT GOES DRY!!!!!!Ah, well there's always next harvest : P
Thanks for your help Tim! Purchased Silvertip. Haven't tried it yet, review is really for customer service. Easy relaxing & helpful
I'm a frequent customer and Every time I visit it's always very welcoming. the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly as could be, and the system they run is extremely convenient and organized , the bud is never a disappointment , farma and calyxes is where it's at forThe best customer service plus the best strains of topNotch flower. Do ya research ! Salute.
This was my first dispensary visit and it was all i hoped for and more. The selection was amazing and the displays were beautiful. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The place was clean, organized and relaxed. I love Farma!
In the new, emerging dispensary scene in Portland, Farma stands as the paragon of customer service, excellent product, and ethically and reasonably grown strains. From the moment that someone enters Farma, they are greeted enthusiastically by a service representative at the window. After a chance to get on their informative and well-curated mailing list, you are required to give one's ID. A small example of how great their customer service is is that you are not invited to back room until there is a service representative there to assist you.I am never ashamed, intimidated or feel unwelcome in Farma (as I am in many other dispenaries I have been too). The salespeople are always friendly, informed, and use Farma's strain evaluation scale to help customers find exactly the right fit for them. Not to mention the phenomenal, minimalist modern aesthetic. I highly recommend Farma to ANYONE who is even REMOTELY interested in a marijuana experience as opposed to simply a marijuana transaction.
I loooove Farma. I've tried other dispensaries and they don't cut it for me anymore. Farma employees really listen to what kind of high I'm looking for and know their product for great recommendations. Lydia is the best
This dispensary is top notch and easily the best in Portland. The product alone blows every other place out of the water then on top of that they have amazing service and I love the way the entire place is organized. Will be back again and again.
Clean, bright, professional! Staff is quite knowledgable, patient, cheery and kind. A really nice place compared to many others. Feeling welcomed was nice. I'd recommend giving them a try!
Hands down, best buds in town. I can always count on the cool cats at Farma to hook a girl up with the finest nuggies. The Blueberry Cookies and Blue Dream are unbeatable. Not to mention, all the bud tenders are well informed, awesome, and know exactly what they're talking about. Thanks for always having the best. You guys absolutely rule!
Dedicated to the medicatedThe crew over here is so accommodating and they always have such bright, kind, bud tenders working to help you out!
I had heard that this was the best place to buy cannabis from my husband who met the owner on a panel at the OLCC. Steve said he'd never met such a cannabis geek--the guy knew everything there is to know.So I ventured forth yesterday to see what it was like. What a great experience! Elegance and stupendous customer service and lots of knowledgeable staff. So much fun. I never thought I'd see the day.Highly recommend Farma for all your green needs.
Love this dispensary, definitely one of my favorite places to shop in PDX! Staff is always friendly and super helpful, I love the open layout and the bright clean interior, there's also a super cute lounge area to sit if there's a wait. Quality flower, oil and edibles, plus If you have a medical card there's a 10% discount Monday-Friday from 10 to noon!
Rose gold sharp stone. Clean ux and descriptive ui. Free cava. Need i say more?Lavendar indica ice cream was on point too. It tasted like a summer unicycle ride through south portland.. I need an isolation tank. The only thing that could have made farma better would be if they had a maple bacon waffle made of weed instead of dough to go with the ice creamIm from la where i can pnly get into underground weed bars so this was a treat.
Great service, knowledgeable staff and just blocks from my house good selection what else could I ask for they got it all! I highly recommend them!
Sam was very helpful! Great atmosphere and awesome service! Also very good selection. Highly recommend!!!
Everyone is extremely friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. Great experience! It is cash only, I am not sure if that is standard, but it was something I didn't know ahead of time so just FYI!
Very helpful and knowledgeable with fair prices. If you stop at one place in Portland, this is it.
Very educational and helpful! The ambiance was very inviting and the staff were helpful. Farma also had fair pricing compared to other places.
Farma offers a very informed staff and awesome selection. Top that with the best prices in town and you understand why this is my go to spot.
My favorite dispensary in town. I am a grower and I love going here. The most friendly people, the most knowledgeable staff, and it's very pleasant to be there. The selection is really diverse and broad. Beautiful flowers, great selection of vape oils, etc etc.... It's easy to get to. You should definitely check it out. I trust these guys. Looking forward to going back.
Even before rated the best dispensary in Portland, you wouldn't need to be a rocket scientist to know this is where to get your money's worth!! I've done the green mile in Portland and this is Home forever after. These guys are not even the closest dispensary to my location, but if you want the best, this is it!!!!
I was in last night for my first time and all I can say is wow! My medical cannabis MD recommended farma and after one visit it's clear that they are the best. Erin (the woman who helped me) was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. I am so happy with my purchases (pax3, transdermal patches, 3 different strains of flower). I highly recommend farma for both medical and recreational users. I will be back.
We had a really great experience at Farma -- super kind and knowledgeable staff and very good recommendations based on our personal tastes. Very clear labeling and information on content as well. The vibe inside the store is phenomenal I might add!
Hands-down, no question, the best dispensary in Portland. The best dispensary I've been to anywhere, to be honest. The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is relaxing, clean, and upscale without feeling unwelcoming or pretentious. The flower is absolute top shelf and fresh, while the prices wouldn't lead you to believe that. They have a price cap for medical patients ($12 a gram max) and medical is quite obviously the forefront of their business - they aren't here to upsell you, they're here because they are passionate about marijuana from a medicinal standpoint. I go way out of my way to shop here because it's 100% worth it. If they ever went away I would actually cry. PS - Caroline is amazing!!! So kind, so smart. Heart of gold. I Caroline.
Believe the Farma hype! Fantastic service and products time after time. They will easily earn your repeat business. (And that's saying something with the number of options in Portland.) I always learn something new about cannabis and its health benefits each visit. Excellent staff, beautiful store. Love Farma!
First time shopper no worries they will take care of you. Fast and efficient, this place was awesome. Nice people, great atmosphere. They knew there stuff.
We are from out of town and decided to pick a dispensary based on reviews, prices and photos on Yelp and Farma seemed like a good choice.First off the Prices on all items in the photos have gone up quite a lot.The gummies are $20(were $8)the flower prices have gone up by $5-$7 more per strain add in 20% tax on top of all that and you come out with a light wallet and even lighter goodie bag.The Greeter was very nice and the budtender also, just a bit disappointed in price. We have a local small dispensary in our town(LaMota) that offers a lot of the strains for a lot less. The gummies are okay but not as effective as expected, the flower is pretty and has a nice aroma but is a bit harsh on the intake.I think we will stick with our little hometown place. If your ever in Lebanon,OR go check out LaMota.
I love this shop and all of it's employees! Everyone is so sweet and helpful, plus Farma has some of the better loyalty programs around. Always a great experience! I would be a return customer even if I didn't just live around the corner :)
We love Farma!! We were visiting from out of town and really enjoyed our experience. Everyone who works here is so friendly! Sean and Andrea were both incredibly helpful, we came back here twice on our visit because it was so great. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Portland!
I've been here a few times now. The atmosphere is welcoming and impressively clean, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and there is even free parking available. The flowers are fresh and new flavors drop regularly. Good specials, and the medical happy hour is great. If you haven't been to Farma yet, they are definitely a must see!
Awesome experience at Farma. We were around the area and visited Farma at around 1pm on a Sunday. Farma itself has a nice aesthetic and is very well-kept and clean. Staff is super friendly and gave us knowledgable suggestions on their favorite products. They have a wide selection of flowers, edibles, and concentrates. A bit on the expensive side but you can be confident that you are getting top quality products.
This place is a pretty awesome. the only reason I say 4 out of 5 is because I like a good deal on my weed. Quality is great here, but 2.5+ grams for 36 bucks + 20% tax made it almost 40 bucks is kind of pricey, for just some sativa bud. Quality of people and weed is top notch. There is a nice and modern look and feel to the store. Best dispensary in downtown Portland :)
Good dispensary, the lady behind was nice and helpful. The book she showed me was confusing though I would have liked to know if it was either indica or hybrid.
A+++ Farma is the best dispensary in Oregon, fact. They have buds that look like unicorn eyes. A+++ - MMcCarthy
Our experience at Farma was a pleasant, informative experience. The guys manning the counters around 5:30 on Thursday afternoon, the 6th of July were some of the most professional and experienced people I've had the pleasure of dealing with during my time spent within the cannabis community of Portland.Very clean, posh, friendly experience overall and will plan on returning to this gem in the near future.
Professional and very helpful. The place is clean looking and you can ensure high quality greens.
I love this place. Very knowledgeable, plus friendly and attentive. I send many people here who have not visited a pharmacy before. Thanks Farma.
Finally made it down to the famous Farma. Very friendly staff good selection. Only giving 3 stars due to I asked for a gram of BB3, paid $14 for a gram but didn't realize till later I received .7 of a gram. Remember that feeling you got when your dealer would pinch your sack??
This was the first shop I ever visited due to the positive reviews and history as a medicinal provider, and Farma is now the only shop I frequent due to their knowledge, professionalism and quality products. Unlike experiences I have had at other shops, the staff are extremely knowledgeable about their products and are able to answer any questions I have, as well as make recommendations depending on my needs. They also always have a broad selection available and are very on top of any legal changes which may impact packaging, etc. Highly recommend Farma for both your medicinal and recreational needs!
We stopped by looking for edibles and the girl that assisted us was super great! She recommended some tasty treats for a fun afternoon! Very professional and legit product.
First time in an Oregon dispensary, after shopping in Washington for a few years. I had heard that Farma was top notch and they certainly did not disappoint! The Wedding Cake strain was seriously amazing, smelled like fresh cake and tasted like sweet frosting. And the Obama Kush and Banana Kush were so dank too, straight FIRE!
Farma is the first dispensary I've purchased at in Portland. Had been to one other, but just accompanied a friend. After a few cases of insomnia, I wanted something to help with sleep and anxiety. When I communicated that to one of the budtenders, he spent about 30 minutes with me breaking down a few options and various strains. Though I'm definitely a novice when it comes to this, he didn't make me feel anything but comfortable and informed. There are probably 10 other dispensaries closer to my house, but I can't imagine I'll be going anywhere else. Couldn't recommend Farma more highly.
Easily the best experience we've had at a dispensary so far. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the merchandise was clearly displayed and labeled, and service was prompt. I love that they have screens clearly displaying what they have in stock along with the THC and CBD content. It helps you decide what you want, if you don't already know, before getting up to the counter. The bud tender who helped us was very friendly and not at all the typical stoner type (not that there's necessarily anything wrong with that, but this guy was very professional). I asked some questions about the edibles they had in stock, and he gave me informed answers. We tried some of the product last night, and the quality was excellent. I think we'll be going back to Farma pretty regularly. It's a little out of our way, but the experience we had was worth going out of your way for.*Disclaimer--they offer a .5g preroll for writing a review on Yelp or Google, but that incentive has nothing to do with how I rate my experience. My opinions are my own.
The folks here are very knowledgeable and helpful. The space is bright and welcoming. Great experience.
Top dispensary in Portland hands down. Great for medical patients.I would definitely recommend this place to a friend or anyone with medical needs.
Super professional, knowledgeable and unpretentious. Took their time answering all of my questions without making me feel like I was taking up their time. Selection was decent, quality was quite nice. Felt like going to a store instead of a dirty drug freak like some weed shops can feel. Recommend for anyone who is serious about getting medicine that they know the exact effects.
Great dispensary, with esp. helpful and knowledgeable budtenders. I was there to find some cannabis relief for my dad, who has arthritic knee pain and has some trouble getting to sleep. The budtender recommended a cannabis topical for the knees, and CBD mints (which came in an Altoids-like tin) for the sleep issue. That would have been very difficult to do without her assistance. And she also had some great suggestions for recreationals. I'll be back.
Definitely the best in Portland! Right when you walk in, you know you're getting the best. Super nice and knowledgeable employees!
Having never been to an establishment like this I didn't know what to expect but from beginning to end the entire experience was very pleasant. The girl that checked our IDs at the front was very nice. The lady that helped me was so nice she answered all my questions and made many suggestions. Their prices are competitive and I ended up purchasing three different kinds to try. I'll be back to see what else they offer.
After leaving my first review, I started coming here regularly. I've went to handfuls of other places when Farma is closed and they still don't compare. Most everyone knows me by name here and even remember what I usually get. I love how personable Farma is and how genuine their sales are. It's not just about marketing with them and they've proved that to me time and time again. The quality for price is still unbeatable and I don't see me going anywhere else. Loveeee Farma!
The tip of the absolute top shelf! Always a great experience visiting Farma. Without a doubt, they always have many of the best flowers in town. The pricing is a little on the high side, but you will never leave disappointed! In my top 3 rec. dispensaries of PDX list, no question. If you've ever thought about heading over to Farma, just do it & do it NOW!! Seriously great flower & great staff as well. Can't say enough good things about Farma. Must experience for yourself! Happy Legal Cannabis hunting, fellow Yelpers!
It's always nice going to a dispensary in another town where they treat you like you're not a stranger or outsider. We're really helpful with picking strains as well. Quick and easy experience. Was just stopping in for a joint to go
Wow this place is crazy clean and organized. They've implemented science into the art of getting high. It's amazing. A little pricey for a gram but quality smells A grade. Service is wow and Cesley was super informative and patient with us. This is like the Stark Industries of dispensaries. I hope LA gets some places like this when we open
Really quality selection with knowledgeable staff. The most impressive dispensary I have been to yet and I have been to quite a few.
I wholeheartedly recommend Farma at 9th and Hawthorne. The aesthetic of the shop is really clean and minimalist, they have a vast selection, the staff are super knowledgeable and helpful, and the prices are pretty reasonable too. I will definitely be back again and again. Every time I'm here, I can ask for suggestions based on symptoms I want to treat, or flavors I'd like to try, or feelings I want to elicit, and the staff have really informative and helpful suggestions. I just picked up some edibles to try today, and the explanations from the person helping me really let me make an informed choice. I have nothing but positives to say about Farma. They are hands down my favorite place to purchase cannabis.
This place is amazing. After not smoking for a few years I was confused about what types of flours are now out on the market and the different effects each one gives off. After talking to the of the the sales associates he provided me with different brands and information on each flower. I found two different flowers that compliment each other. I definitely coming back to this place for now on . Thanks guys you rock.
My favorite dispensary in Portland. Good product, knowledgable friendly staff. Good place to take first timers to ease them into the dispensary world
This spot is one of my favorite places to go. Service is great and the cannabis is great quality compared to a lot of places in pdx. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone who wants bud. In addition they have discounts depending on the time you go, and of course if you have a medical card.
Visiting Portland this week and have been to a handful of dispensaries; Farma is my favorite. The budtender that helped me was very knowledgeable and explained the different strains. The shop also sold accessories so I'm going back to pick up a grinder.
Farma truly is the premiere dispensary in Portland. They've made cannabis an experience for me; a lifestyle, and an educated purchase. So grateful for how much the incredibly knowledgeable budtenders have informed me on cannabis and its uses. Farma is #1 and they're where I bring everyone visiting Portland when they want to see what the culture here is all about.
Extremely knowledgeable staff, quality selection, and class all around! Best dispensary in SE.
Charged me $50 for an eighth of a strain that's normally $30 an eighth. Also, the bud tender was a little rude when I tried to ask about strains as sativas or indicas, telling me that's an incorrect classification of flower.
Farma is one of the best business establishments I've ever had the pleasure of going to. I am from out of the state, so my experiences at dispensaries always varies. It can be a bit awkward buying weed so freely, but Farma and their staff make it such a pleasant experience for people who are doing this for the first time. If there's any questions on flower or product, they have a friendly and knowledgeable staff that is ready to help when you need it. There's also a great variety of products to choose from, which is great for all demographics. The layout and design of the store is very nice as well, as everything is displayed nicely and available for the customer to pick up or check out. Every time I visit Portland I make sure I stop by Farma. It is ALWAYS a very very pleasant experience.
The Farma staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. The product is excellent in quality and selection. I shopped at an off time (early Sunday afternoon) and did not wait at all. The other couple of times I have visited this location, I had the same quality service and wait time. Other reviews have mentioned a hipster niche vibe but I did not have that experience. I enjoyed the aesthetic that is different from the hippy pot shops and the trendy youth culture appealing shops. The store is clean and minimalistic and easy to shop. Cash only which is the law at the moment. Expect busy Hawthorne street parking only.
Friendly, polite folks. A really clean and beautiful space, very mid-century modern. "I could live in this weed shop," I said. There is a waiting room with interesting photos; when they call your name, you head to the back room. The quantity and caliber of their goods seems excellent, but I don't really do marijuana so I'm not the best judge. They had the sativa gummies my partner was looking for, though! Wyld-something, in raspberry.
This is an exceptional store! I had many questions and all were answered beyond satisfaction. The clean professional space was very much appreciated but really it's the staff that makes this such a standout. You will not be disappointed!
We spoke with Ben about using cannabis for pain relief without having a medical card. My wife finds smoking from a pipe or bong produces significant coughing. Ben taught us about vaporizing and show us numerous options. We ended up buying a simple pen-shaped Select Strains device that uses concentrated oil and a Cannatonic cartridge for it. We got plenty of instruction and the device with a rechargeable battery worked great.
They are always very helpful. Great selection. I just wish they had more selection for pre-rolls.
Having never bought legal weed, I was astounded. After a quick ID check in the small lobby, you're welcomed into a crisp, white room with jewelry display cases and helpful staff who are able to describe their products and make suggestions. I bought a couple pre-rolls and some cheese crisps and was in/out in under 10 minutes. Great place!
Farma is the prime example of a professional dispensary. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, the products are very high quality, and the grows are local and organic. The bud tenders know the grow personally and have an obvious passion and respect for the product and for the client. I will return to this dispensary every time I come to Portland. Thank you Farma for being the real deal!
Farma...an interesting approach to legal cannabis. I walked into this dispensary to find it surrounded by hipsters in a niche part of town. My girlfriend and I knew this was going to be a different type of cannabis shop when we experienced a long wait time to enter. Young twenty somethings played with some sort of sensory deprivation chair in the waiting room while others uncomfortably stood around with a look of annoyance that they are having to wait such a considerable amount of time. I think this has to do with the idea of "bud-tending" I understand that people have questions about cannabis, I am one of those people. But at some point the pressure for a sale becomes a little overwhelming. My bud tender was the typical stoner stereotype. He used verbiage like "mellow" and "energizing" to describe the cannabis. It was really annoying that he wouldn't even use the word sativa or Indica to help describe the cannabis. He was like "We don't use those kind of words here" it was almost like a dumb downed Apple version of cannabis bud-tending. IAsked him," is this this predominantly an indica? Because sativa causes me to experience anxiety" his response " this is mellow"." So then an indica?""Definitely a relaxing cannabis."Using a non descriptive vocabulary to " not define" cannabis is not very effective. I get what they are trying to do, they want to make it easy for the laymen. However this approach comes off as lacking in knowledge. My bud tender was very kind, he even acted like he was breaking the rules by " selling me a half gram" wink wink. Even though I came to the dispensary originally to purchase an extract. I purchased cannabis I didn't even really want because of the pressure these bud tenders put on you to make a decision. At some point it should be less about the sale and more about meeting the needs of the customer. If you stand there staring at me until I make a decision, I will uncomfortably make one. I will return to to get my penny pre roll.I won't ask questions because there will be no answers.
Really cool dispensary. Lots of options in strains out for you to see (and smell), a good variety of edibles (whether you're looking more for THC or CBD content, or both), and super friendly and helpful staff. The shop is beautiful and sleek and I would definitely return.
This is the place to go! They were super professional and gave me what I needed. I told them what I prefer and she recommended a mix for a good balance. The shop is beautiful and the staff makes you feel comfortable. My favorite shop here in Portland!
This is bar-none the classiest, welcoming, and comfortable dispensary that I have ever been to. Very knowledgable staff that was welcome to answering questions and imparting that knowledge about their product to their customers. I also really liked their innovative approach to strain classification, deviating away from the sativa/indica dichotomy and instead focusing on the overall effects of the myriad of strains they had available. Definitely will make this my go-to dispensary and I recommend you do as well.
First visit to a dispensary and was blown away by the selection and boutique feel. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They recommended a strain I had never tried and it was maybe the best I've smoked. Pricing was very reasonable and will definitely visit again when in the area!
We are not completely new to dispensaries but we come from a town where it is illegal and have been to only a few. Out of all the dispensaries in Denver, which is the only other legal state we have been to, we really enjoyed this one out here in Oregon. It is clean, neat and upholds a very professional yet homie vibe to it. We were greeted and helped from beginning to end. There were a lot of quiet moments from our side simply because we had no idea what we wanted, but that was quickly resolved. The staff is very knowledgeable and guided us to our treasure. Wonderful experTREEence !
Visiting for the week and this place was the closest to our BNB and it was awesome. Staff is knowledgeable and very friendly, not too pricy and lots of options!
It's not hype what they say about Farma. The product line is superior. The ambiance is stylish, classy. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. If you have questions that they don't have a ready answer for, they will go to the magic computer database and research it on the spot. Extra bonus/5th star is for the off street parking lot.
Love this place! Beautiful interior and super nice people too. Great options as well, and it's become my go-to! Thanks!
Solid staff in the front and back. No salesman pressure. Plenty of patient, friendly, and more importantly knowledgeable bud-tenders. Nice selection of marijuana whether you want a pre-roll, flower, vape, edible, etc. - they've got you covered. Farma's on my must-visit list when I'm in Portland. Much love, fam. Thanks to the dude who recommended me the Quill!
By far the best Portland dispensary I've been to thus far. Very comfortable and classy environment. No black light Bob Marley posters or general feelings of being in a college dorm room in 1994. The budtenders I've interacted with were very friendly, knowledgeable and gave stellar recommendations. They even gave me a discount when I went in on my birthday. I would highly recommend Farma for those new to cannabis who are looking to explore, as well as veteran stoners who are looking for the best quality products.
Very cool and knowledgeable staff, they were extremely helpful to my brother and I. The location was very clean and well designed, has a sleek look. Quality products and reasonably priced. I recommend the Memory Loss #3 and Gorilla glue.
Super clean and new look to the store. Staff is friendly and knowledgable. Additionally have organic buds and weigh out nicely
Great environment and staff. Convenient inner SE location with some parking! Bus tenders always helpful in making suggestions based on the need at the time.
This place is part of my regular routine. I come in, tell them exactly what I am looking for in a bud, and I walk out happy. Posh. Chill. Easy.
Their selection is so amazing! I've been to many dispensaries in the Portland area and this one was by far the most knowledgeable and professional. They know the effects and properties of each strain and effectively point each customer in the right direction whether you're a seasoned vet or new to the world of recreational marijuana all together.
I used to love Farma, mainly because of Resin Ranchers who has some of the best weed... But i found out that farma charged 60 dollars for a Resin Ranchers top shelf 8th when i can goto Archive Portland who also has Resin Ranchers and they charge 54 for a top shelf Resin Ranchers 8th... Check out Archive you wont be disappointed. Farma used to have Resin Ranchers Animal Cookies which is some of the best ive seen in Portland but now Archive has it.
The most professional and knowledgeable cannabis clinic I have gone to thus far! When you walk in, it kind of feels like a doctor's waiting office. You are greeted by the front receptionist, we only had to wait a few seconds to go into the room. The person who helped us was very excited to hear that my friend was new to the game and she wanted to help. They were extremely nice and professional, they knew the products very well. My friend was so happy with her purchase she wanted to go back the next day and thank the girl who helped us out. If your ever in Portland, this place is a must see. Even if you don't smoke, the way the employees and the shop present themselves you'll want to check it out.
Super friendly staff! They were very helpful and knowledgeable and made our experience really enjoyable. Definitely come here if you're looking for a dispensary in pdx.
The people at Farma are extremely knowledgable, patient, and generous with their time. They want to make sure you're happy with what you're purchasing; they ask questions about what you're looking for, and they care about what you're really interested in. It's a beautiful shop (clean, appealing to the eye, calm, and inviting), and their selection is excellent. I was really impressed with the level of customer service, the choices, and the ease of my entire experience there. I didn't feel pressure to buy more, I didn't feel judged by what I want and don't want. I just felt genuinely supported as a client. I will definitely be going back in the future!
Beautiful space. Budtenders very personable, knowledgable and friendly. Nice selection and lay out, with color coded mini place cards distinguishing strains and percentage. Overall mice experience and great to take out of towners. My stepdad loves coming to visit :) Only down side is its cash only so bring your bills.
Ricky was super helpful with informing us about all things cannabis AND gave us so much information about breweries around the area!
My adolescence was polluted by the pinched pout of Nancy Reagan, who assured me that any drug ingestion would result in addiction, jail time, or a persistent beeping noise from a sad hospital room. "Just say no!" they declared, while cooking up trickle-down economics in the back room. We said no to the wrong thing. I looked forward to weed being legal the same way other kids look forward to their first post-21 wander into a liquor store to get something other than MD 20/20. This was serious business. I did research, I read reviews, I explored menus listed on Leafly, and wrote a short list of what I figured would be my favorites. I purchased new glassware. I wrote "vagina" on my lighter so my housemate wouldn't steal it. My intent going in was to purchase a formula that stimulated creativity and alleviated anxiety, and my eye was on Golden Pineapple. I waited about 10 minutes to get in, where a really helpful staff was waiting to coach people through their first purchase. The budtender made a decent enough case for the Tyra Banks strain, but I just can't get behind purchasing something named for a person overly proud of coining the term "smize". The number of people felt a little overwhelming, and I started to feel recommended blends were getting further away from what I wanted, so I settled on Golden Pineapple. I bought a gram for $12, which was a discount new-customer price; normally it would be $14, which is a bit more expensive than the average dispensary. However, the Golden Pineapple I purchased was handed off to me in an excellent air tight container, which fits perfectly inside a roll of toilet paper, where it remains cleverly disguised. Why am I doing this? The aforementioned housemate figured out that even though his purchase was more ambitious than my own, the quality of mine was superior. So now I'm a pirate moving me treasure. Not that I blame him. One hit of Golden Pineapple was all the inspiration I needed to post way too many things on Reddit and Facebook. All of the giggles and joy, none of the paranoia and anxiety. I'll definitely return when my booty is spent, with or without the Reagans.
I love Farma. I live on the North side and make the trip to SE just for Farma. High quality product and service every time. Love the aesthetic inside the shop as well. Last time I was in Alex helped me pick out some dope bud. Love you guys .
What a phenomenal experience! The budtenders were very knowledgeable and quickly helped us navigate our buying experience. The rating system that they use makes it easy to have the feeling you're looking for. We will definitely be back again!
The location lends itself to an assumed pretension that no-one told the employees about. Extremely well educated, friendly, and passionate budtenders makes a trip to Farma a highlight to any day, and their large inventory means they can find the exact cannabis you're looking for. This is my store from now on.
If you're looking for quality, this is the place to go. We have visited Farma a number of times and each time, we leave happy. Farma has the BEST top shelf flower around. They really take care of all of the product they carry and make sure it's always fresh. Sure it's a bit of a higher cost than other shops, but again that cost ensures quality, freshness and great customer service. Another great thing is they have multiple displays of each product, so you're not stuck waiting or crowding other people to see what they have. We have tried other shops, but honestly nothing really compares to Farma. We will always come back for more.
Easily my favorite dispensary in Portland. The flower they carry is by some of the most talented growers around and absolutely second to none! The budtenders are fantastic and are very knowledgeable when asked questions regarding effects, taste, etc. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place because you won't be disappointed!
Great store, good products, equal prices to the rest of town. Very chic and clean. Will return if I need some high class grass.
Very nice people and very helpful. The place is very clean and well stocked. I purchased some for a sleep aid and I have had no trouble falling asleep and staying asleep, to hell with Ambien! I also purchased a mellow type for creative endeavors. Love painting and listening to opera and I am so focused! Great fun.
my trip to farma was wonderful; their staff was knowledgable and attentive, their product was quality and it is somewhere that I will definitely return to. they don't list their product as the typical hybrid, indica, or sativa: instead, they focus on how the product will make you feel, and what outcome you're looking for in the end. much more about the experience in using the product versus just purchasing the prettiest bud.
Huge fan of this place, though I do have to admit, some of the flower can be a bit higher priced than some shops for the same flower. They are in a high rent area of hawthorne so that l am sure pushed up the price a bit. The budtenders are consistently the nicest and most knowledgeable in town. I would and have recommended this place for first time dispensary visitors.
Stopped in to take a look at their selection. Loved the aesthetic of the place. Good variety of flower, but prices were high for Oregon flower being untaxed until January (Sunset Sherbet-$15 for a gram, $52 for an 1/8th--what are these, east coast prices? You're not even giving a discount for the 1/8th!). If you're a CO2 fan, they've got a great selection. Would've rated 4 stars, but I knocked off one because one of the pictures the owner uploaded to the yelp page has Dogwalker (I'm assuming it's Dogwalker OG?) that's marked at 30% THC. HA! Must be a cannabis cup winner, or test results are shoddy. While nice, I don't think I'll be going back. Cheaper flower of the same quality elsewhere.
Excellent selection, helpful and very knowledgable staff, clean and professional atmosphere. It's the exact opposite of sitting on a well-worn sofa amid "Celtic" wall tapestries and Family Guy DVDs, making small talk with your college-aged dealer while he weighs out your purchase on a crumb-covered coffee table.
Had a good experience at Farma. The budtender was very knowledgeable. By far hands down I bought the best cannabis there, I would recommend it to anybody that visits Portland like myself I'm from Florida and I loved the experience.
Went in for some cbd lotion & was told they only have salves. Purchased one & now realize there is NO cbd in it....only THC. Grrrr. A waste of money including the parking meter.
This is the best place to get the most out of your experience. The bud tenders know what they're talking about and the product is better than anywhere else. They also always seem to have something from Lion Tree Farms which I love!
First time dispensary buyer. Staff was super knowledgeable and very friendly definitely coming back soon.
Farma is fantastic! Great products. Friendly, professional, helpful staff. Nicely designed space. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
First time here was really cool. The waiting area is welcoming and so was the person at the front desk. Once inside the place is pristine and very organized. The staff was friendly and everyone was smiling. Right when you enter there is a menu with items for sale along with pricing. They have a great variety. We bought Mt. Hood and Thin Mint GSC. Have yet to try it, but looks great.
I love this place they are professional, honest and the place just has the "REAL DEAL FEEL". I have been to a lot of shops [100+] and this is in my top 5. If your looking for some of Portland's best here it is. I definitely recommend this shop to everyone!
Such thorough & kind service. Employees were informative & patient. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
Super chill folks that know their bud. Pretty decent prices too.
We had a great experience at Parma. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They have a nice selection of products at reasonable prices. I would especially recommend this store to less experienced people, since they took the time to answer all our questions during our visit.
I have visited dispensaries in both Colorado and Oregon, and Farma was, without a doubt, the one I will continue coming back to. Besides having a wide selection of premium quality product, the staff was exceptionally knowledgable. Any question we had, was addressed with a very educated answer. I truly felt like my bud tender knew what she was talking about, and so far, in my tasting, she has not disappointed.I cannot even pretend that I have tried all the dispensaries in town, but after going to Farma, I won't be looking any further. Do yourself a favor, and check them out.Keep up the good work, Farma.
Between my sister & I we spent almost $1,000.00. We purchased a wide variety of items from chocolate to gummy's to CBD ticture etc. All of it was crap! Every item made us feel like we were in a depressing hole! We purchased all sativa products. Did not like the effects at all. I think they may have used Indica instead of sativa. Would never have purchased the stuff if I knew it was going to make us feel the way we did. Unfortunately we were not from Portland. Had been there previously to another dispensary and the stuff we got there was great. Nice shop but try the stuff before purchasing. The effect of their stuff is not typical.
Love this place and the kind people who work there. Very helpful and generous with their time.
This place is everything that one would hope for in a dispensary. It is well organized and the staff is well informed on the products. I had never been into a dispensary before and this was beyond what I expected as a customer. Great product, great staff and well run. This is where you need to shop!
I loved this place went there on October 1st. Was very excited to go in I was amazed at how professional it looked well actually loved it. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable of there products. I felt this was a very welcoming environment I know I will personally be back and maybe even become a regular.
Farma is a great store with an awesome variety of products. The staff there is amazing and I've had a great experience there every time!
This is definitely my go-to dispensary in town! The budtenders are super positive and helpful, and the stock is nothing short of top-quality. I'm always smilin' when I leave.
If you're a quality over quantity type of person, this is the place. Super clean facility with great staff - amazing find. I got the mystery haze and it is beautiful. Will be going back very often!
Professional atmosphere. Weed was bad. Didn't get a good high. We took samples of each one..spent a lot of money. Not worth it.
Great place to go for the newbie as well as the more experienced aficionados. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to make suggestions. Lots of wonderful products to peruse and the selection is always changing - you're sure to find something to meet your needs.
Costly. Good staff and products, but I don't think it's worth the added cost of the environment. Other stores stand out in my priorities.
Great product and awesome service. I like that everyone on staff knows their product and it's also very clean inside.
These guys are great, always good smoke and fast, friendly service... prices can vary at times but still a great shop, especially in comparison with many other shops in the pdx area. I highly recommend farma if you're looking for a quality cannabis shop in pdx.
I turned to cannabis to help my husband with severe arthritis in his hands wherein they were turning almost clawlike. We had tried the many commercial salves, pastes, arthritis medicine etc. even bought some cannabis pastes....with little result. I remembered way back when that my friends would soak buds in rubbing alcohol for minor injuries, pain etc. What did I have to lose. I started experimenting with buds in a crockpot of gentle coconut oil. Not only were the results the best so far but the mat of aging spots on the back of his hands started to fade. Now I had to learn more. I read and read. Visited pharmacies/recreational shops in both Portland and Vancouver, Washington State. Not bad. Different vibes and it seemed different levels of expertise. And I was learning. But it was not until I visited Farma in Portland did I see and feel the difference. First the store itself was professional, spotless and felt welcoming with all the items laid out and labelled. And then I connected with Andrea. My problem was and is, that I am a relative newbie to the amazing healing potential of cannabis. I explained to Andrea what I was doing and asked what were the different strengths and combinations I might try to make it better. She explained that she could share with me only what she and her associates had learned. She called over a couple of them to consult with us. I got a mini lesson on strengths, what to expect and even a tip.......to try adding jojoba oil to the mix. It is the closest thing to the oils in the skin. I walked out feeling secure I would be making the best relief salve possible.Thank you Farma. Thank you Andrea.Samantha.
Oregon Diesel good quality flowers, knowledgeable staff that isn't pushy, great selection- I certainly hope to return.
I'm an old time grower and took a year long break with the idea of buying bud as good as what I grew so I wouldn't have to grow anymore. I have purchased weed multiple times in this dispensary (usually spend a couple hundred or so at a time to get a nice variety) and have found all to be beyond sub par nearly every single time. I don't know what's up with the great reviews, but I have to assume most reviewers so far have never smoked properly grown weed. I find the weed Farma sells to be consistently harsh on the exhale, and most all of the various strains smell about the same with little difference. Very little bouquet like properly grown weed should have! I think this is likely due to the mass production and various sprays the growers they buy from use to control Powdery Mildew and pests like spider mites, thrips, gnats, etc. So, I decided to start growing my own again and purchased two clones from Farma on about March 4th. They were packaged neatly in plastic so I took them home and put them in my grow room, of which I had already two others of my fav strain going. I never thought to actually check the clones before introducing them into my garden, only because I asked if they were Powdery Mildew free and was told "yes". Also, I fully trusted they knew what they were doing since they are a State regulated medical dispensary. The website has the appearance of a clean medical facility. Their about me page leads one to believe they grow their own. If that is true, and I highly doubt it is since the growers listed on their jars are NOT Farma, then they are growing and selling weed that is infected with mold. Not sure how they get around the regulations on that one with the finished product. Quote "We grow and breed our own. We rigorously test." Yea right. Let me put it this way. They are good at marketing, but that's where the goodness stops. But I digress. To my dismay and utter amazement, when I got caught up on a few things a few hours later and went to look the clones over for any signs of tiny pests that aren't easily seen, one clone had two large spots of PM on one leaf. I was shocked since I knew I had just contaminated my grow room and know how many months it will set me back. I called Farma about the issue and they replaced the two clones for me. Supposedly from a different source. However, they gave me two more infected clones! And, they were obviously infected just like the first two were. Both had PM, and one had fungus gnats flying out of it when I picked it up to look at it.I called and talked to the manager who was extremely rude, condescending and arrogant. She said the clones were disease free, maybe they got infected from my garden, we have no control after they leave, etc., and basically get lost. She simply would not take responsibility for their mistake and I felt that was way out of line for that kind of attitude. I asked to speak with one of the two owners multiple times and was told nobody wanted to talk to me any further and to basically take a hike. I have never experienced a problem where I can't speak with the owner of a small business. Neither owner has called me back to this day.My experience in talking with management about my issue is they don't know much at all about weed, and likely depend on the commercial growers they buy from for information on whether their clones are PM free or not, rather than their own knowledge and expertise. I say this because I honestly believe they believe the replacement clones were not infected. And, because the guy in charge of buying the clones and maintaining them had said the first ones I got should have been PM free because the grower uses a sulpher burner. Anyone who knows anything about growing knows that if a grower is using a sulpher burner it means he is having PM issues. I haven't had to use one in 8 years, until NOW! I've had nothing but a disgusting experience with this dispensary over this and am still shocked neither owner would speak with me. The epitome of arrogance. If you want good and safe weed to smoke, grow your own. The difference between commercial grown and homegrown is like night & day. Be sure to buy your clones from a "reputable" source though. Or, better yet, start from seeds. Run far away from Farma as fast as you can.
The budtenders really know their shit here at Farma. I have worked in the industry for over 15 years and there are a lot of talkers and fake it til you make it types, but the folks at Farma are honest, educated, and their products are A+ in my book.
I am a big fan of Farma for the quality and organization of their products, but I am always a little thrown off by the pricing. This dispensary is definitely great for new smokers, couples in long term relationships, and young professionals -but be careful if you're looking to pick up from a homie.
I've always gotten great customer service from the budtenders at Farma, and the place is always clean and inviting. Their product is hands down some of the best I've been able to find in Portland. I wish they included tax in their prices, but they have a wide variety at different price points, and some exceptional weed choices for budget prices. Lots of organic product too!
A great place with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff who are willing to help and recommend you the best products for you for whatever kind of experience you want to have. It's all reasonably priced and the layout of the store makes it very easy to get around and find what you're looking for very quickly. I would recommend coming here if you are in the east Portland area looking to assure yourself of a quality experience with a wide variety of choice to suit your needs.
Very good experience here! My sister came from out of town and really enjoyed it. All the recreational buds were all top shelf and they had a lot of variety. So many different choices, I was pretty impressed. I myself am very familiar with dispensaries here in Oregon and this is the best one I have been to yet. Not to mention the staff was very friendly, knowledgable, and interactive which made the experience all the more better. AWESOME BUDS!!!!!!!!!!!THANKS!!!!!
Favorite dispensary ever!!! Chris was super helpful! Organic & great selection of flowers!!
Great customer service. I had a lot of questions and the staff had all the answers. Good amount of products. More flower options than most dispensaries. Hospitable staff ready to help out.
Farma was my first experience with a dispensary and I doubt I will go elsewhere. The space is very clean, well organized, and inviting. The budtenders, of which I have now met several, are all very nice and willing to take the time to explain multiple options to get the best strain for what ails you. This facility, its people, and its product have been an important part of making a miserable post-op recovery more bearable, and for that I am grateful.
This is my favorite dispensary in Portland! Every time I go in everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable and I enjoy learning something new and trying new strains. If I'm looking for something with a particular effect, I always get great recommendations. It's also a well lit, nicely decorated, pleasant space. I always enjoy my trip there!
The staff are very knowledgable, kind, and helpful. The place is beautiful and clean and I've been in there a handful of times. I just had to replace a pen and didn't have a receipt. The staff were very understanding and helped me out. I'm very grateful that they are in the neighborhood.
My girlfriend and I visited Farma for the first time recently and we were very impressed with both the service we received and the quality of the products being sold. Our bud tender was Lydia and she did a great job describing the different strains we might be interested in as well as explaining what makes them special. We tried the Tangelo Haze preroll and loved it, and the Super Silver Haze was great too.
This is my absolute favorite dispensary in Portland! Very knowledgeable staff and always the best strains. Highly recommend!!
Best shop in town. While the products speak for themselves, the friendly and knowledgeable budtenders make the experience even better. The flowers are the best in town. Yes, some shops may carry the same strains from the same growers, but the look, smell and quality is not the same. My buddy and I believe that Farma gets the choicest.
Just moved to Portland and have visited a couple dispensaries in the area. But by far, Farma has been the absolute best. Such a clean, new and sleek space with the sweetest people working there. I initially went in to pick up some Sour Tsunami, but was suggested to try Stephen Hawking Kush. Easily my favorite strain now thanks to Farma! Will now be my regular place to come to :)
This was my first time in a dispensary and Sean was super helpful answering all our questions. We only had to wait a few minutes to go back and they have an assortment of edibles + a variety of flowers to choose from. Would totally go back.
If I could give it 6 stars, I would. This place is so phenomenal. The best part is that you can trust what you're buying here to be harmful chemical free, and the bud tenders do a very good job of explaining the effects of the variety of flower and concentrate they sell. Best of the best in terms of dispensaries in Portland!
Great experience! Everything was clean and looked high quality. Budtenders were extremely knowledgeable and take their time with you. Will definitely be returning soon.
Cool modern-vibed shop with good product and knowledgable staff. Relatively large menu with a wide range of strains at all prices. You'll probably have a to wait a little to be helped but there is a good reason for it! Would definitely recommend.
I've been there three or four times and every time has been good. The people there are friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable, and the selection is quality and good. The only complaint I have is that the tax is not included in the listed price.
This place is awesome :) the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and NOT pushy which I love. Very decent prices and a cute little place, also a bonus that it is open till 10. Also, the violet delight I believe is one of my new favorite strains. Def recommend.
My goodness: with the explosion of Portland dispensaries that have made the cross-over from medicinal-only provisions to recreational sales in the last 10 months, I can say unequivocally that Farma tops them all. Granted I haven't been to every single dispensary in town, though I've actually been to a couple that have great service, delightful buds and edibles (I'm partial to the high-CBD offerings myself), and reasonable prices. I can say that the classy & clean atmosphere, congenial attention from friendly and knowledgeable bud-tenders (I still chuckle at this word), and beautiful array of herbal offerings takes the cake, in my book. As other reviews have mentioned, they do a great job catering your purchase to the type of experience you're looking for, rather than focusing solely on the pharmacological contents of a given strain. They're on the pricier side, but not so much that I'd look elsewhere. I've only had positive experiences here, and I highly recommend them to anyone who asks.
I love this place! The selection is wonderful, & the staff is very knowledgable & ever so friendly. The person who checked me in also helped me to select flower which was such a personal feeling. I haven't experienced that at any of the other dispensaries. I am definitely looking forward to my next visit to Farma!
First time in a dispensary in Oregon. Ricky helped me out and he was great! Had a lot of knowledge to share about the options. I was interested in knowing about breweries and he shared some places and wrote them down and gave a little review of each one. I highly recommend the place. Such nice and helpful people.
Is the piff sold here the "Chronic"? Yes it is. The staff is super knowledgeable and are essentially piff sommeliers. Its not five stars as the piff is overpriced, but other than that, great experience
Awesome selection and knowledgeable staff. Conveniently located right near the liquor store. I would choose this dispensary over a ton of others. They don't take cards yet but they have an ATM and are willing to weigh out product to your monetary restrictions : ) far out : )
For those just getting into the wild world of weed, this is great starting point. On the other end of the spectrum, lifelong aficionados will be blown away by the selection, knowledgable staff, and Kinfolk-ey aesthetic.
Best bud I've ever seen and smoked, incredibly knowledgeable staff and a welcoming atmosphere
Top quality selection and amazing staff. This dispensary is laid out very well and conducts work in a very professional manner.
Very clean shop with super friendly staff! No pretensions here, they make you feel very welcome. Nice but small selection of flowers and other goodies. Very reasonable prices too :)
I have been into Farma 3 times since cannabis was legalized October 1st and have been impressed each time by the budtenders' knowledge of cannabis science and how it works in the body. There is so much to learn about this plant, which has medicinal as well as psychoactive properties, and I think that the folks at Farma take their responsibility about educating the public seriously. They also seem to carry lots of "Clean Green" (i.e. organic) strains as well as high-CBD strains for those who are less interested in getting high.
Farma is hands down the best, friendly staff that want to make sure you get exactly what you're looking for!
Farma was the first place i went to when I moved to Portland. No other dispensary has come close to its style and selection. I go out of my way to shop there. The budtenders are all knowledgeable and friendly and the prices are awesome.
Great quality of products. Knowledgable staff and great location.. Did I mention how great the "product" was...
so friendly, so helpful (the staff) and the product is chemical -free (huge selection) -- why would you buy anything else???
I was happy to see a display case full of flowers that were not in jars. You could actually see what was available.
We were up in Portland, OR, a few weeks ago visiting my brother. While we had some free time, I decided to take a look in some of their Cannabis Dispensaries to see if I could save any money since they had many more dispensaries which, I thought, would generate some healthy competition. It didn't work that way. All the products offered for sale in Oregon were abut the same price as in California. And, yes, Cannabis is taxed in Oregon even though they don't have sales tax. This place was small and the staff was nice enough but the inventory for edibles was very sparse. Thus the low rating.Jim
ADA Discrimination As a terminally ill cancer patient undergoing chemo during Covid19, I understand and respect the safety protocols that help keep shoppers safer. With masks on, we entered the lobby and were asked to leave my pet outside. I clarified she's a registered therapy dog, and was still refused. I needed relief and time was being wasted, so I decided to let it go. My caregiver put her in the car and we made our second attempt to give them our business. We handed over our IDs and were then told only one of us could enter the dispensory at a time. Their Covid protocols allow two people in the dispensory space at one time, which they defined that as "two paying customers." Since my caretaker was only there to assist me, he would not be allowed to enter with me. Their reason? "That would force other paying customers to wait outside, which isn't safe." We could see out the windows, there was no one waiting. I'll also point out that many stores have lines outside their door that abide the state social distancing protocols. So I entered the shop alone. I told the attendant (who I later discovered was the owner) that I was legally blind and my caregiver usually reads to me. I asked if he would read the menu while I stood behind the red line (6 ft away and wearing my mask). He pointed to a screen and suggested I might be able to see it there in larger print. I attempted but could not, and again asked if he would read the short vape menu to me. He refused. Three strikes and you're out! I left the shop in tears and utterly disappointed in their refusal to make small accommodations so that I could give them my money. My caretaker went in after me to request the name and contact information for the manager so that we could speak with them about our experience. The attendant I attempted to work with revealed he is the owner. He declined to provide any contact information or accept our complaint, stating that he did not refuse me service. It's technically true that he did not refuse to sell to me. He did refuse to: 1-allow a service animal into the shop, 2- allow a caretaker to accompany a terminally ill chemo patient into the shop, and 3- read the short menu to a legally blind person. These are all very simple and reasonable accommodations that could have won him a regular customer. We took our business to Oregon's Finest, who were more than happy to accommodate my needs while abiding Gov Brown's Covid protocols for OR business.
Expert historical and current knowledge about their farmers' cannabis and cannabis in general, including tests, and farm conditions. I am from the bay area, been to L.A. many times, these so-called capitals of marijuana (perhaps they once meant illegally), yet I have never seen so many top notch, healthy, full-fledged strains in one concentrated area until I visited here, let alone the university of knowledge. Seriously, I had to try them all and couldn't stop talking about this new knowledge I was receiving. I walked out for $106 for five, lively, healthy, fluffy top shelf grams, (and more!*) all exceptional examples of each my favorite terpenes, with color and crystals, that burn clean as hell and white, and with a look that'd amaze. In fact, what marvels are greater than fine marijuana grown correctly? Imagine if vegetables and fruits were bred for excellence (they have, it's called "Cotton Candy grapes"(Tm). If only the rest of nature looked like this. **Clean BHO white shards of THC with verified health testing from a Lemon Sour Diesel, testing strength almost max, grammed, was also included. Everything, after CA's tax of 33%, would've ran me near 200-220 out the door, for marijuana typically more dry (due to the third-party testing procedures.) and I never would have had flower vindictive of the PNW's bounty. I enjoy very much the plants and design. The older, hip man w/ the beard was the face on the company.
Customer service is alright but could be better, I felt rushed. Kind of pricey, good parking.
Overall: I had a great time. Even though at the end of my time there I did experience paralysis by analysis, I ended up buying 6 different types but it was like getting a flight of beers and I have no regrets for paying a little more! Gina even wrote on the tops of the bottles how they should make you feel which was very helpful. I will be coming back and most importantly recommending this place to my friends. Bud Tender: She helped me understand the role of terpatines in the way a plant makes you feel, the benefits of CBD, temperature, how it affects the release of phytonutrients and that after vaping flower, how you can cook it with butter to make desserts get use out of it. AMAZING! Environment: This is one of the most modern and clean looking dispensaries I've ever seen. I love it! Feedback: I would really like to see the use of mini fans given to bud tenders to help customers smell the plants,". It would be better than using a hand and safer than being up close (social distance). As friendly as my bud tender was, I don't know that she should be talking (breathing out) so loudly into the plants (COVID). No offense but I was a little concerned due to germs and the times we live in. Also the magnifying glass currently used for looking at weed was tiny and could use an upgrade.Idea: There is a mountain of data that this place sits on that can be used to EFFICIENTLY educate customers and visually market the products. I think that having new labels that explained the key benefits, contained close up images of the bud, and showed the Terpatine and THC breakdown would go a long way on the bottles and plant labels.
Love their flower and love their staff. They have a great variety of products and are always happy to help. Thanks Farma, see you soon!
Really nice place with a solid selection that's open later than the competitors. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, from the receptionist to the bud tender. Prices were decent at $22 for a disposable vape and $25 for a set of 5 1/2g pre-rolls. Just remember there's a 20% tax so come with enough cash, otherwise there's an ATM on the premises too.
We went kind of late so no one else was there. We spent a bit chatting with the two workers there and they were really friendly and suggested some places to go in Portland. The selection was great and everything had a really clean and classy feeling to it. It's definitely one of the nicer dispensaries we've been to and we would definitely go back. Also the Wyld Marionberry gummies are amazing!
Stopped in to pick up some CBD oil for some shoulder pain. I called ahead and they told me they had i'm great product I I could try out. Everyone was super friendly and the product was well priced and the associate explained to me how I should use it. I've used the peak CBD balm, which is handmade here in Portland, and I absolutely love it! They are cash only but don't worry they have an ATM inside.
Saw multiple reviews and advocates supporting the dispensary as one of the best if not the best in Portland so went to check it out.One things I enjoy about shops is typically the design. Whether it's unique, rustic, or upscale, something that sticks. This upscale design of Farma is definitely promising and makes everything very clear and easy to browse. I'm not a big flower/bud person, but I mainly shop for batteries/pens. While the selection was a bit smaller then what I was hoping for, the staff was super attentive and explained in detail the differences between pens and strains. We were able to find out what works for me and I left the store completely satisfied and DEFINITELY enjoying what I purchased. See you guys soon.
Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean, definitely feels like a more professional/grownup sort of dispensary than a hippy dippy pot head shop. When they have sales the prices are unbeatable!
Great strains. Great flower. They're professionals.
Good product but employees should learn not to catch attitude with a customer planning on leaving a $199 tip for employees to celebrate 420, sad they could've afforded to add more to the tackle box collection on their face
We drove across town for some pain relief and bipolar relief. But my black husband sat in the chair and did not want to stay. I purchased my items we're Medical patients and him ill too and a disabled veteran when back in car I asked why he didn't want to purchase anything. He said as soon as we walked in the door the white woman grabbed the money she had laying on the counter like he was going to steal it and quickly put it away. Wow we always wear a body camera and have it on film if black don't shop at Farma.
SO FANCY LOL I haven't seen a cannabis shop with this kind of set up in a while
