The best! Helpful staff, relaxed atmosphere, great selection. This shop has a warm feel. Lots of wood, cozy. Nice variety of edibles and tinctures, including TJ's gardens. I love to stop in after dinner next door at Grain and Gristle. Highly recommended.

Visited Portland last week on a company trip.  We stopped by here as it was recommended.  The recommendation was spot on.  The knowledge and service from the staff was A+.The location can be a little tricky but well worth finding the proper parking.  We didn't even bother visiting another location after visiting here.

I'm a super noob when it comes with this kind of stuff, but the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful for my purchase! Check-in receptionist was pretty chill and welcoming. The store is pretty clean, and they have a wide selection in their displays. I wanted to try their ice cream, but sadly it was sold out that day :/ The parking lot is small and cramped. It caters to adjacent businesses as well, so it can easily get filled too. You might have to find parking somewhere on the streets if you wanna drop by!

I wish I could give them 20 starsBEST BUD IN TOWN (parking can be hard make sure to have a little time to park) NEVERRRRRRR any crap buds/oils/edibles etc Amazing customer service FAST SERVICE, no half an hour waiting period  Amazing deals, prices, specials. Billie is my fav! She really knows her stuff although they are ALL just as amazing. I literally drive an hour just to go here and it's SO WORTH THE DRIVE. I've had many problems with other dispensaries, not having good product, slim-no selection, and the prices are outrageous THEY REALLY ARE THE KINGS OF CANNA

The employees give differing answers (they have no clue what they're saying basically. They have no knowledge base), there's an extremely arrogant (usually goes without saying in PDX dispensaries) male employee and I get a rough contact high each time I go in (it's walking distance to my house). The stoned employees could not care less about you; you are invisible. You have questions about a product? Well, thats a shame, because you may as well talk to a stoned brick wall. They can't help you because they don't know the products, and that, besides the nonexistent customer service and the store's sloppy stoner's Hot Topic aesthetic is why they do not deserve your money or your patronage.

Came here because we had some time to kill and we thought why not since it was legal here in Portland and we don't need a green card. They checked both our IDs then buzzed us into the back. It was kind of toasty in there right off the bat. We wandered around not really sure of what we were looking at or if we intended to get anything. Nice lady asked us if she could help and I said "we're noobs to this. So I'm not sure?" (I'm just blunt like that). She just laughed and asked us if we smoked or liked edibles more etc. Can't say enough how nice and helpful she was. We ended up getting some taffy and some mints that she said would be good for beginners. We tried the taffy like immediately after and it tastes like Starbursts. I felt it a couple of hours later really hard and it helped me sleep on the plane too. I recommend this to all the noobies like me. Don't be afraid to just ask!

I used to love  this dispensary but they hired this girl with blond hair don't know her name.  She is always rude and gets mad when you ask her to show you different strains. She even tried to short change me once. I don't know why she is even working there not ever a pleasant experience dealing with her.  I'm on the hunt for a new dispensary.

They have set up the nicest and classiest establishment I have ever seen of pretty much any type of retail vendor in Portland. I was allowed to set up a tripod to capture these long exposure images with my full frame Nikon camera.

The Kings of Canna is a beautiful place. You walk in, and a very chill person at the front (as well as portishead playing on the speakers, leather waiting room chairs, magazines and complimentary coffee) welcome you. You hand over your Id and wait for the bud tender. You're walked Into a softly lit room that looks somewhat like a modern/rustic whiskey bar. It's not rustic but the shelves and cabinets are glass and dark wood. My conversation with the bud tender was very casual and relaxed. I'm 29, smoked the weed that made it to the Chicago suburbs in the early 00s, but stopped for some time now. The stuff these days and in this region is way stronger, and more varied, and I don't know which strains set off some anxiety for me. With that info he suggested a hybrid for day time and an indica for the evening. It was $12 for a gram of the Snow Dawg and Super Urkle. I'm excited to give these a try, and will definitely be back to try different strains. They'll be selling edibles in the new year, too!

This place is awesome. Super sleek, clean, beautiful space. Billy (Billie?) is amazingly helpful and nice. She helped me out with finding a vaporizer and was patient while showing me what was what- even got me covered when I was having trouble finding a new battery for it online. Every time I come in folks have a great attitude which is not always the case at other spots in town. They also have great deals and discounts. Solid experience through and through.

Top notch kings. I loved the staff and the presintation of not only the product but the establishment itself was beautiful. They were very helpful and even gave me some kettle corn for munching.

Being a newbie, i wasnt sure what to expect from a dispensary, but Darren made this a fun and educational experience. We had a blast! Thanks Darren!!

Very welcoming and relaxed environment combined with highly professional service - and what an amazing selection of goods on offer. After some conversation and advice I picked up two different strains - quality and value for money are A+. Anyone new or unsure will find their way here!

Don't be put off by the small parking lot, this place is awesome! 1st Class display cases, and very friendly service.  All my questions were answered, and they give birthday discount!

Got here at 10 am checked door closed waited for a few minutes. In the mean time 3 other people came. Just lost 3 customers. Heading somewhere else. Because your not truly open.

I was an early adapter to prop 215 in CA and since then I've been to a LOT of dispensaries between there and here (and elsewhere). KoC has set a new bar. The interior is beautifully designed, the selection is very competitive - I was there to find a hard-to-find product that few other stores stock - and the staff is as friendly and knowledgable as any I've ever encountered. They also have a well-appointed waiting area (not that there was a wait), free coffee and a restroom, which I don't think I've seen before. The place was like a tobacconist shop mated with a jewelry store. Needless to say, I'm a new fan.

Let's get down to it. I go almost every day. These folks are great. They all have plenty of knowledge with their items. They each have their own strengths in certain items as well. I'm not sure what that one star fool is talking about. Some dispensary etiquette. You can do your own educating beforehand. I know.. How dare I.  Don't be those people that have a million questions about each strain. You look like a frieking amateur. Research, find what you'd like. Go there. Tell them. They'll find that for you. It's weed. Great selection of a ton of different items. They have it all. Fair pricing also and it's all displayed out. Nothing is pushed over another. I like that.

Went in to get some edibles, but I wasn't too sure what I wanted since edibles aren't my usual go-to. The blond woman that always wears black (Lydia maybe?) was super helpful. She lead me to exactly what I needed. I have been back since, and they have been on top of it. Great spot! Thanks!

First time in Portland and was told I have to swing by Kings Of Canna. I was thoroughly impressed with literally everything. After walking in, we were greeted at the front counter to check our IDs. Make sure you bring cash. We walked into the other room and were greeted with nothing but smiles. We had a couple questions and the staff was very helpful. We didn't feel belittled or put down in any way. Everyone was so kind. We are very pleased with our purchased products as well. Thank you for a positive experience. We plan to visit again if/when we're back in Portland. Thank you!

I had a hood and a mask on as I entered Kings of Canna along with a caucasian gentleman who was wearing  a hat and a mask. I was asked to remove my hood after being in the store for like 2 mins, after I complied I asked why? Having been in the store prior and never been asked before. I stated, "What's the difference between a hat and a hood? And pointed to the caucasian gentleman wearing a baseball cap and mask. I was told that if he had a hood on he would be asked to remove that as well. I asked what was the difference between a hat and a hood? I received a blank stare from the employee. So I said fine, maybe you and I aren't seeing eye to eye to the tender and started to walk towards the caucasian customer (my boyfriend)  . I was told by another employee wearing a mask and hat that I could leave, I was like why? I was told they were refusing to serve me because I was causing a scene. I said I complied and simply asked a question, I've spent several hundreds of dollars in this establishment  over the last few weeks. He said "SO" I said, there are other dispensaries in Portland and he said, "Yes there are"They had my ID, I'm on camera, my initials are on the back of my hoodie, and I am wearing a bright green mask with polka dots. I guess I shouldn't be shocked given who is at the helm of this country. It's sad to know racism truly is in our backyards especially at a time when we should be coming together more than ever. I guess I will spend my money somewhere else like Green Hop - 5515 NE 16th Ave  (971) 301- 5859 - A black owned dispensary, I always enjoy supporting. The Green House  - 4936 N. Williams Ave (971) 229-1266 Although not black owned, I have met the owner a few times and both him and his employees are great. Because Black Lives DON'T Matter at Kings of Canna

Did I just walk into the classiest dispensary ever? Why yes, yes I did.With a welcoming front room adorned with tall velvet chairs, ATM and smiling staff, another door leads into the main showroom where a giant curved, wooden counter beckons to customers. Backlit (toplit? bottomlit?) displays showcased each strain housed in their glass boxes. It felt like speakeasy AND a jewelry store. It was beautiful.Beyond its appearance, the store and staff itself was top notch. A friend, who had never been in a cannabis shop before, accompanied me - and neither her nor myself ever were made to feel like we were unwelcome or n00bs.The gent who helped us out was super friendly, knowledgeable and polite. He asked me many questions and listened to my requests, and in the end, I walked out one happy patron.Thank you, Kings of Canna, for making our Portland holiday extra special. Stop in if you're looking for an experience like none other.

Mow your lawn and smoke it instead of this!Used to be a great store. Hate saying this because they have the best folks working, no lie. But 120$ an ounce for lawn grass??? Come on y'all. Smells and tastes like 50$ an ounce. No deals here whatsoever. I've lost so much money to these guys‍ I feel sooo stupid I'm actually going to quit smoking all together!

Come here many times a week, they got deals all the time, and on weekends, and have a good selection of strains, if looking for flower. As soon as you walk in you get hit by the smell, like a bakery only a plant. And the edible selection is overwhelmingly abundant. Whatever you need they most likely have it. And the good brands and good quality stuff. Other places have been questionable.They have an ATM in the lobby, cash only, Valid IDs required, and checked at door and again at purchase, just an FYI.

oooooh went in after a long day working and asked about the difference between a particular strain listed on their $3 a gram menu and on their $10 a gram menu and was informed that the difference was the price. and then the budtender went on to inform me that I'd be spending a lot more money on the $10 a gram option than the $3. anyone else misplaced the time it takes for this foolishness? look, if you've never been to a dispensary before and wanna see what investment in a pretty build out looks like, KOC is your spot. but if you want to learn anything about the medicine you're about to purchase and consume, and hopefully enjoy every moment of please go anywhere else.

Great dispensary with very nice people. Last time I was there Alex helped me and she was extremely knowledgeable and kind. The decor is reminiscent of opulent cigar rooms but with a very laid back and way more diverse vibe.

Definitely recomend this place to anyone who enjoys variety.. Wonderful atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and a great selection of products makes this my favorite dispensary. They have daily specials listed on their web site as well as leafly.com
