Guy with glasses not helpful. There were other associates who seemed to be more helpful but I was not fortunate to get help from them. Also the door man was very nice but once again he was not behind the counter helping me. The guy with glasses who did help me was sort of rude and didn't let me take all the pins.
They kept me happy decent prices and a good selection of products. They have daily specials worth checking out .
This place is a joke, horrible customer service. They were rude and condescending. Do they realize there are dispensaries on almost every corner in Portland? Good luck staying in business. Don't support.
I went to the Broadway location yesterday. I needed at least 3 oz's. I'm a stage 4 bone cancer patient with my medical card.I do not get out much. It took me 2 weeks of trying to finally feel well enough to leave the house. When I got there- they were rude. I was helped last over people who had come in after me. Then I was told I could only purchase 1oz even though medical patients can purchase up to 8 ounces a day. I left feeling very frustrated. The medicine didn't look that great anyway. I do not plan to ever go back. I do not recommend this place. Especially for medical patients. Try Nectar, The New Amsterdam, Bridge city collective, Happy leaf or any Other Dispensary! I had to give at least one star.... Even though they didn't earn one star from me & my caregiver!**UPDATE**Today my caregiver went to the Portland Meadows location. I'm satisfied with the meds. My caregiver says they were very nice & helpful. This will likely now become a regular stop for us. I'm glad we gave Floyd's a 2nd Chance!Changed from one star to five!I still don't plan on ever going back to the Broadway location, though.
Really cramped space. Guy with the gauges in his ear bent my real ID and decided it was fake when I couldn't remember which of my past addresses was on it. Plenty of nicer dispensaries around this area, do not go here. These guys just lost a ton of future business just for the sake of being rude.
Would be great if i could buy some cannabis without hair in it. Third time. couldn't find an email or facebook page to contact them about this.
My first clinical experience in Portland. Cute little place, decent selection, excellent employees. I will say that it's interesting that all the weed I used to get from clinics in California had this weird tendency to freak me out. Like...I'd get weird and too introspective no matter what strain I got. With the two I got from Tru Cannabis (recommended by the awesome brown-haired girl with the plugs), they're totally amazing and none of that weirdness was present. Maybe it's me, but it's more likely that it's just better quality here. Thanks, Oregon!
The staff may tell you they are trying to promote local artists but dont be fooled youll email the address they give and never hear back. Honestly I know my sruff isnt everybodys cup of tea but compared to some of the stuff they will put on display Im freaking van gogh.Sick of empty promises and people who for whatever reason refuse to be honest. The flower itself is fine the prices are good just dont believe the friendly service if you happen to get it (theyre often very rush rush getting people out of there).
Had to wait in line a bit for an available bud tender, but nothing more than a few minutes. I found them pretty nice, answering questions asked expertly and friendly. I found this place down the street from any AirBnB last time I visited and looking forward to coming in again when I come back next weekend.Great selections and good price points. Laid back, chill and unpretentious. Just what a good local dispensary should be. See you guys next weekend!
If you want ridiculously cheap products, then go here. Their social distancing practices are lacking, but it's the cheapest place in town. Some of their product is quality while most is mediocre & at least a couple of years old.
TRU FIND: Great neighborhood find in a convenient location with lots parking. Staff is super helpful and friendly - not at all intimidating for a single girl. They just opened so their menu is limited, but their experienced staff makes up for it. I've been in a few times and so far the Obama Kush is my go to for an all-around indica. My other pick is the Sister D, but careful it's a creeper. On a side note, the Sacred Herb product line they carry is excellent.
Couldn't even get in the door because the doorman said my ID was fake and then tried to steal it from me and said I could wait for the police. It's completely legal ID so I laughed at him and said call them I'd be more than glad to wait to which they handed me my ID and told me to leave. I tried calling the store to explain I was a legal paying customer being refused service and he just asked me why I hadn't called the police?!?! Do I seriously have to call the police to tell you my ID is legal can you not just scan it. Also no need to be complete jerks about it. Horrible customer service will never be returning and will tell anyone who will listen how rude these people are. Don't they get this is a customer service business. I can go to hundreds of dispensaries in the area these guys won't be around much longer I can see why they had to change their name in a sad hope of drawing in new people.
They've gotten better staff in recently. The workers move as fast as they can with the volume of people that come in. There's also a lot more selection now.
Visiting from California, this dispensary was close to our hotel. Very easy to deal with and the budtender was very helpful. Would highly recommend for the easy recreational spot for a tourist.
After visiting at least 20 shops in the area, thought I'd finally found the one that could earn my loyalty. I had a very positive and satisfying visit my 1st time, because of a great budtender who understood the meaning of good customer service. I returned 3 more times, but did not see the same person working. I was helped by less than friendly people who had negative attitudes, which seems to be the norm for this industry. On my last visit, I inquired about the "good" budtender and was told that she had been terminated because she was "not a good fit". I interpreted this as saying that we prefer to hire jerks. All 4 times I was the only customer in the store, it seems they are not doing well. With an excessive crop this year and dozens of shops in the area, bad customer service will drive many of these shops out of business. According to Jim Blazingame, a marketing consultant, bad customer service is an epidemic throughout the retail industry. Of course, Amazon is the exception. One day, Amazon will get into the pot biz as soon as the banking issue is resolve. Then, watch out you small time thinkers!
Awesome quality awesome people. Great price. I went there past few days getting the 10$ 8th +tax(12$total) Then today they had 5$ 8ths. 20$ half Os! What on earth. Thats such good deals. Had to stop by again!
I have been to this location many, many, mnay times before. Usually i get good customer service and decent flower for their cheap prices. Yesterday 6.1.19, was the first time i have ever left very annoyed at the service and mad at the flower i was given. Being a paying customer looking for flower with nice buds there was just not a good selection but one of the strains i chose had a jar of decent buds, but the tender gave me shit from the bottom of the bag that was worse. So many stems in majority of my purchase. Now, about the tender! I could not believe the way we were treated. We get called up to the counter and this man proceeds to have conversation ONLY with his coworkers, took him like 3 minutes for him to acknowledge us after HE called us up. Then as my friend and i were finally able to look at the options, we were given about 2 mins and then he asked if he could help the person behind us! *excuse me?* i looked in disbelief at my friend. We let her go, who he had an easy time having a conversation with her (he must have known her). So we order our flower and get to listen to him bitch about how he better have good reviews for all the stems he takes out cor people and he wont do it anymore. He CLEARLY meant it as he didnt give a shit as to what i spent my money on. I didnt get his name but ill remeber his face and will leave if hes the one helping me. Super disappointed this time
First off the bud here is really top quality. I got an eighth of the Obama kush and an eighth of the Sister D. Both were fresh and burned great. The staff are excellent, Emily was very helpful and knowledgeable about all the strains and products. The location is great, and I couldnt be happier to be able to walk down the street and grab pot better than I've ever had.
BATE & SWITCH PRICING I went in to the Sandy location one night and inquired about a piece of equipment. Dude told me 3x it was a certain price. I was super excited about it and told him I'd be back the next day. When I came in the next evening, the price had DOUBLED from what he quoted me the night before. When I fussed about this I was met with blank stares and was told it cost whatever the sticker says. (There was no sticker on box night before btw). At this point I figured I would be given one that hadn't been opened with finger prints on it but no, I was told it was the last one in the store. Do you think they offered me a discount for buying the "floor model"??..... NOPE!.Aside from the annoyance of the tax not being included in the advertised price, I had shopped her regularly and turned some of my peeps on to this place too. But they certainly lost my business after this last interaction.
So I would try to check in which went OK but the man they have working the window is extremely angry against women in general and when I asked how do I open the door he aggressively told me pull it toward you and then push in a very inappropriate tone and when I asked him to please you know talk nice to me because I really wasn't understanding what it gone wrong he proceeded to then berate me and treat me even worse I didn't know that I was going to be verbally attacked by employee while I'm simply trying to just get CBD oil. The girl with the purple hair she's amazing absolutely love her and I will never come back after 3 o'clock again so I can only deal with her she's the only one that seems to have a brain and is kind.
Love this place! We came in on a Sunday asking about making our own edibles. Sam was very helpful and knowledgeable! He really took the time to give some great pointers and to point out some wonderful trimmings for the infusion at a great price! This store is a very comfortable place to buy your stuff. We will definitely be back!!
Not knowing about different strains,I got excellent very friendly expert advice on what strains to use for my extreme insomnia. The store is also close to my apartment.I plan on doing all my weed shopping here and will highly recommend the store to everyone I know!
Great that there are two floors so you don't have to wait in long lines. They have really nice top tier flower but also good buds for only $6 out the door. So nice to see a friendly face every time I stop in.
The staff is always wearing masks which is very much appreciated even when we are social distanced and make sure to keep everything clean and sanitized for the customers.
God bless the young woman working here who was the only employee properly wearing a face mask during this pandemic. Her two male co-workers that I saw from the entryway both had to their masks loosely draped below their noses. I just got paid and was about to drop a couple hundred bucks on product, but clearly this store's management doesn't value the health of its workers or customers, so I'll be taking my hard earned cash elsewhere. #MaskUp
They employ an open neo nazi for security. Wouldn't go here if you have any morals, cus they don't.
With all of the cannabis dispensaries in PDX, this place just doesn't stack up. As the closest spot to my house, I thought I could bop in really quick to pick up some edibles and a PAX Era cartridge and be out in no time. That definitely wasn't the case. I was the third customer to come onto the retail floor, and even though there were four employees in the same space, they were making us wait in line and shop one-by-one. The two people in front of me were taking forever just browsing, but I couldn't be taken care of first because they were at the front of the line. Lame.During my time just standing there, I had the opportunity to look around, and honestly this place feels junky. From the art to the way it's displayed, it simply feels to me like the ideal dispensary for that group of burnouts who hung on grassy knolls in the early 90s. Prices were fine, but really I feel like prices are pretty good all across Portland. With so many other options, I don't much see a reason to return.
I give this location a 3. First two times I got good tenders that tried to minimize the sticks but this last time was insane. Literally half my OZ was wood and mulch. Looking at these other reviews it seems to be fairly common at this store and something the business isn't worried about fixing. It's ok though. No reason to be loyal I just have to watch like a hawk next time I go.
They refused to let me return a weed vape cartridge that didn't work (only half the cartridges I have ever gotten from them have worked, out of about 20) I never returned one before that didn't work because of the stress and hassle of returning things, the fear it would be just be an awful experience where they refused to return broken merchandise that they sold me (which is what happened). They claimed it "draws fine" which is wrong they either have no idea what they are talking about or were lying to me. What the machine they plugged it into tells them is that they can run an electrical current through it, it gives zero information about airflow ("draws fine"). It also doesn't say that it works.I also didn't appreciate being misgendered or the repeatedly saying it "works fine" when I ask about returning it, instead of saying something like 'yes I'm refusing to let you return it". the indirectness and having to ask repeatedly felt pretty ridiculous to me.(for it not working I tested it on 2 different batteries that I proved had worked with a different cartridge)
The shop has 2 floors but u can only access it from the 2nd floor and all the buds are on the 2nd floor. My friend swears this is the place but everything she paid for sucks. Lots of stems and who ever is trimming their trees needs to be fired. Just really low quality. She was getting medium shelf but if the medium shelf is this poorly executed I wouldn't spend a dime of my own money for top shelf. Either way, it's nice on the inside... well the 2nd floor of course. Budtender are nice so is the security. Other than that i wouldn't be going here as a regular customer.
Come here if you want the EMPLOYEES to ask YOU for information about the product.I wanted gummies and when I asked about terpenes the young man said "You tell me, dawg"I am still shocked. The two stars (instead of zero) are for the woman at the other end of the counter who offered me some ingredient information on my way out. Also, I asked the first guy for a way to review him and was given nothing so here I am.
I'm really loving this dispensary!! From the service to the options to most importantly the pricing! They are all always so helpful and informative. I always have tons of questions and no matter whom I am working w/ they are always willing to go above and beyond w/ answering my questions. They don't appear to get irritated when I ask to smell all the flowers lol But their pricing is hands down some of the best in my opinion especially b/c they always have a good selection for the various pricing tiers. Their concentrates are typically really good pricing and I tend to see the same for their cartridges. The place is two different floors but you cannot get from one to the other w/out going outside. It's not big inside at all and depending on the time, there can be a little bit of a wait.
Worse customer service ever, Months back I came in and purchased a $48 dollar ounce and the worker who helped me weighed up a half ounce (14grams”) I realized that by the time I made it home and weighed it myself, so I called up there and told the people what had happened and they told me I was good to come back and get the other half. Once I made it there they said they would run surveillance back which was completely unnecessary because it took them 5 plus minutes just to come back and tell me that they didn’t see anything on camera and that they had no idea what I had did with the other half of the weed I got. To make a long story short they did nothing to help I didn’t get a refund or the rest of what i paid for and they completely made me waste my time coming back, this is by far the worst experience I’ve had ever had with any dispensary
First time to the dispensary, my bud tender was Randy he was Awesome Great personality and very knowledgeable on the products, definitely will be going back to see Randy, love this place
Weed is decent for the price but one of the tenders made it super weird when he interrupted the women helping me to mansplain what she just said... The look on her face, honestly I just felt bad for her
Used to send customers to their shop but after my experience tonight that relationship is over. All the old friendly staff was fired or quit and ever since service has been extremely shoddy. Stood at the window for five minutes and when I presented my ID The blue haired kid didn't hold the button long enough for me to get the door open and when I tried to get his attention about it I was blatantly ignored. They were about the customer service now their about the profit. For shame you guys... Update: still some of the shoddiest customer service I've ever received and the disinterested demeanor of employees is off putting to say the least. Also the rec cap for concentrates is 5g when I asked for the five g's I was asked if"that's all" as if they were willing to break the law to make higher dollar sales. All the budget shelf is shake and stems for $40 when it used to be $28 for shake oz. Profit over product I guess.
40 dollar ounces but only four options of shake, stems or seeds. They don’t respect the clientele or their workers. Never seen a worker be employed there more than 6 months, and I’ve been frequenting for years. Being on Broadway they have little bottom shelf, which many people in the community can only afford, but have endless high priced weed that is usually barely better than bottom or the shelf below it. Selection is very poor and they run out of weed so often you’d think the person in charge would know this by now, but then again they might also be a 6 monther.
