Great customer service, the staff is great! The only issue I have is that the vape cartridge I got worked for about a week and then it stopped. Bummer cause it's still half full.

This is the quintessential SCAM DISPENSARY. For a few months they offered 'buy one get one' Sundays for 1/8th oz  of Apple Valley Organic (AVO) products - my friends talked about it every week, so I started going. The quality and pricing of the product is sub-par; AVO doesn't have 'good looking' buds by any stretch of the imagination. Or maybe it's the piss-poor fluorescent lighting and lack of decent displays that makes the buds look pretty sad (there's more about the actual building in a minute).  But oh! About a month ago they had so many people show up for their great deals that they couldn't do it anymore. WITH NO NOTICE they changed the deal: Buy an 1/8th of bud and get 3 free AVO pre-rolls. AND THIS IS THE SCAM, FOLKS. These 'premium' pre-rolled AVO joints are total shake. I took them apart because I don't some large joints alone and discovered that AVO 'premium' joints contain the kind of dry, leafy material that producers don't even use for extracts. I went back and bought 2 more - outside of the BOGO sunday deal - and they were the same nasty dried-out stems. I showed this to my friends - all of whom are in the industry - and they were less than shocked but still bothered by the material here. 20 years ago when I was in high school I might have been okay with it, but in today's market it's a pure scam.  As for the actual location: Clueless budtenders who never understood the whole BOGO concept even after several months of the deal. 20 people waiting shoulder-to-shoulder in the HOT bud room itself was common on these days, and the staff never once updated the product list, ALWAYS running out of popular strains early in the day and not having any idea what was left...the entry lobby is at least as large as the bud room, and almost totally empty - it's like that shady business that looks like they moved in yesterday and will be gone tomorrow once they get a bunch of fake checks in the mail. As I mentioned, the bud room itself is poorly lit, with nothing on display, just a bunch of poorly-labeled bins on the back wall. SKIP THIS PLACE. Do not succumb to 'free roll friday' unless you like helping AVO get rid of the trim that fell on the floor. Other well-known places like Pharma have a much better presentation, selection, and overall experience than Nectar, and for the same price, even.

One of my favorite Nectar locations because it's in my neighborhood. Quality bud for reasonable prices. Looks great with the new remodel!

My experience at Nectar wasn't anything special. In fact, I probably won't remember coming here at all.The wait time was short and there was a diverse selection of flower and concentrates. However, my budtender seemed inexperienced and failed to try to connect with me. I also didn't feel like there was much of a community amongst the staff.I have been to at least 25 different dispensaries in and around Portland, so if you want my service, you really have to go above and beyond. And the staff can either make or break an experience.

This place is fast and friendly, they offer online ordering thru Leafly. Had a great experience today, employee was so nice, gave me a cup of hot water to warm my cold hands, absolutely a prince among men. Thank you so much for being so kind - starting off the new year right!!

High quality products and high quality service for high times. Being from out of town, dispensaries are so foreign to me and I often feel lost walking into one. Once walking in I browsed around for a minute and the whole time the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Most people underestimate how important it is to have conversations with patrons, it's something small like having a conversation that changes a customer into a guest.My man Jason was incredible and made my already good day into an awesome one. From start to finish he truly curated my experience at Nectar. Jason asked me questions and made suggestions to help me navigate through the decision making process. He even taught me a lot that I didn't know even after all my years of smoking.The passion and knowledge from all the staff made me feel like I left Nectar with more than just my purchase. I left with an incredible experience. I will be back the next time I visit Portland, guaranteed.

This is the Target of dispensaries or perhaps becoming so. Not on the price, necessarily but on the quality of customer service and the fact that they're buying out other dispensaries as per their site. Gees, so obvious. So my review is based on a rather unpleasant visit. The atmosphere here feels more like a private party that you weren't really invited to and I almost had to interrupt the 3 budtenders chatting with each other loudly and laughing even louder, just to get service. Always a button for me. Their menu in the store is not updated. The prices often do not reflect the actual prices of some of the products. I was told that's because the products are updated too often. Yawn.The budtender who was helping me seemed a bunch confused over several of the different concentrates - as to what they were, what strand, what brand, etc. Not impressed, not impressed, not impressed. A nice selection of rosin though ;)

My partner and I stopped in to Nectar for the first time in a while because we were close by and she was overwhelmingly nauseous and her prescription meds weren't helping.We went in and showed her medical card, anxious to get her some relief. There was a huge crowd of friends all together that were waiting for recreational help. My partner and I are used to being helped before recreational customers as is the custom at every other dispensary we go to.Instead, we were at the back of the line.  To try and save time we walked over to the medical case and started looking at the products. We actually saw one in the case we had never seen before that we thought would be perfect for her nausea spells.Unfortunately, one of the bud tenders decided that we were acting pushy and told us curtly that she would "be with us in a minute" before shooing us away from the products.My chronically ill partner at that point had been waiting in a hot building full off people for relief for too long, and after the rude treatment from the staff we decided that Tree House Collective deserved our money more.Don't waste your time here, it's all about image and not about substance or care.

I went to Nectar looking for a specific Indica pod. This Nectar location didn't have it but they called another location which did. They held them for me until I got there. I've been to several other canabis dispensaries and no one has ever been as helpful or nice. Thank you Colin and Michael.

This is my first time going into this dispensary. I found that they have a good selection a flower and a large selection of Edibles and concentrates. The staff seems pretty friendly and helped us fairly quick also the prices were reasonable. But I think I understand why. I bought an eighth and when I came home the way it it did not weigh 3.5. Most dispensaries I go usually weigh in a little over the weight purchased. I'm sure they're making plenty of money, why short people? At least be spot on if anything. Marijuana is legal and this is a business where we just trust what we are getting.  I hate prepackaged canibus and usually go to places that weigh it in front of you.  Even then I weigh in at home to see if the tip the scale in their favor.

The last few times I've been here my budtender was Nick, and he's really cool and knowledgeable about their selection. He turned me on to their exclusive strain called Nectar Lime, one of the best-tasting and creativity-inducing strains I've found in Oregon. Nectar's selection can be overwhelming with its many choices, but Nick knows his products and recommends terrific things to try. Best part about Nectar Lime is that it's 20% off on Sundays, so that's usually when I stop in. Nick at Nectar, thank you for your great customer service.

Super friendly staff and great vibes. Ashley was great and super knowledgable and offered great recommendations. Highly recommend!

It's your extremely friendly neighbourhood dispensary! Their prices are reasonable from 6-14.00 a gram for flower (medical prices, add tax ), and each price bracket in that span has quality product. The staff is very helpful and enthusiastic. Free joint Friday is awesome because ill spend 20.00 for flower and get two free joints as a patient. Hey, can't turn down free meds!

I could spend hours on here looking at all the bud and dabs in this place. The selection is crazy and they have things in all different price points. Check  his place on Friday's and Sundays for the best deals!

There seems to be high employee turnover at this store.  There are new employees (most who seem stoned)  in here every time I go in and they don't seem very well trained (i.e. cannot find products, have to ask other employees basic questions about products, etc.).  Additionally,  the employees always talk more among themselves (even with a customer line) rather than engaging with the customer.  They frequently run out of different products or have trouble finding back up supply which requires the employees to search all over the store and in all the drawers (not organized).    There are many more dispensaries in the area that are better organized and have more friendly, knowledgeable and helpful employees.

Seriously underrated dispensary! Great and friendly staff, wide selection and weekly deals.

Came in not really knowing what to do. They where extremely helpful with everythingWill definitely come back. Very laid back not intimidating

I'm not a native Portlander so I may not be versed in the best shops as far as quality/price go together. But I can say that this shop has top notch quality. Very friendly staff (although I didn't find them to be very knowledgeable about cannabis).Some of the strains that were discounted were just as good as the "top shelf".. so don't necessarily be suckered into paying more. The lower tier stuff they carry is still better than most shops have.Assorted strains I loved -- Kosher Kush, Unicorn Horn, and Pez

I like the Nectar stores and this one has been open longest and is my second favorite. I like the AVO (Applegate Valley Organics) because they give back to the community. I get the pre-rolls of different strains and try the flower on Friday and Sunday specials.

Best selection of concentrates and edibles (gum, taffy, syrups, tinctures etc) I have seen around pdx.  Many options and found exactly what i wanted for the pain of dental work.  Cbd syrup w just a touch of thc.

One of my favorite dispensaries.... great customer service... amazing weekly deals ... I go every Sunday Monday and Thursday for special deals. Highly recommend them! And the hours open are 7-10! Love it

Definitely not the kind of place that I'm looking for when it comes to medicinal worthy Budtender.  I was looking for a specific strain (Barry white) and walked over there to get it.  The lab test date is 10/15/2015!!!  Never experienced dried out flower at dispensaries, and normally I just choose the strain that I want knowing the quality is normally great.  It'll still be fine, but I'm never going back.  On the upside I got 2 free grams pre roll, so it's sort of makes up for it, but not really.

Everyone is so helpful and friendly here! I have called multiple times to ask questions, and they were always polite and new exactly what I was looking for. Better service than I have experienced anywhere else! Oh, and they have a frequent buyer card which is great too.

An easy to find location with super service.     They've got great products with people that explain clearly.   Best part is they're open at 7am.

I'll start by saying that Nectar deserves a 5 star rating on Yelp and Leafly! Tonight Jason helped my boyfriend and I find the exact products we were looking for: RSO, and tinctures with only CBD in it. He was extremely helpful with our questions about the medicinal purposes of the RSO and tinctures for cancer patients. (We were looking for products to help our 3 year old niece who was recently relapsed with AML Leukemia.) He was friendly, knowledgable, and very helpful! We also got an eighth of SL-15 which is dense and has some really nice buds in it! I feel that their prices are a little high for their flower, but reasonable for the area. Will definitely be returning based on the results our niece has with the RSO and tinctures!!!

They are open on Thanksgiving day AND Christmas day! Way to care more about money than your employees! I will never buy from here again and will make sure all of my friends and family know as well!

Daniel and DeVon were amazing, so helpful, knowledge and friendly. I had some questions about the different strains and they were very patient and kind. It was my first time here and I will definitely be back!

This place is the bomb. Good deals and good green up and down their price scale. Come in on Fridays for the most incredible deals.

Not even giving this place one star because it sucks. (Too bad I had to give one star or I couldn't rate it) Service is terrible and these people are extremely unorganized and rude

The Sandy (and 33rd Ave) location is a GEM!  All Nectar dispensaries have the same, excellent prices and daily deals... but Sandy has the largest selection of stock on hand; which is excellent news for customers.  Their entire staff of friendly, knowledgeable bud tenders provide excellent customer service.   :)

I came in on a Friday when it was super busy and thought I was going to be waiting for a while. I was pleasantly surprised when I was almost immediately helped by Jess, who was an awesome budtender. I told her what I was looking for and my price range and she recommended a bunch of different options and seemed really knowledgeable and had great insight and advice. She was able to explain what the effects were of every strain and made sure I was happy with my purchase. She made a normally mundane experience interesting and fun. HIGHly recommend her!

This was a great place to visit. We had asked for help in choosing a specific strains to help with body aches and other things.  they were very helpful. Will be back again!

Like the IKEA of dispensaries. Big, bright, TON of selection, solid & affordable pricing. This location is convenient to me, and the service is always good.

Brought my friend in from out of town for his first dispensary experience and it was excellent. Jason helped us out yesterday and helped us get some flower and cartridges. Always come here and I'm reminded why I do. Thanks again gang

They used to be the only shop that was open until 11:00pm, which set them apart. It was great because I get off work around 10:00 and stop in there on the way home. Now I have no reason to go there anymore. It's the same square building with the same weed as everyone else in town. Business' change their hours for many different reasons, it just so happens in this case they lost a regular customer.

I am somewhat new to the cannabis purchasing scene, but the staff at Nectar have been great to work with. They are informed, very nice and super helpful.  I also find that their selection of cannabis varieties to be more than can be found at the average shop and have a loyalty awards program in place.  If you have served in the Armed Forces, there is an additional 10% off.

They are super helpful here and upbeat. Will definitely be coming back! Also prices are super reasonable. Excited to see how the bud is.

One of my favorite dispensaries! The staff is great and they always have the best bud! They usually always have a deal going on which is a plus.

This place is like heaven. Free roll friday is the best idea in the world; I will be here every Friday guaranteed! And everyone there is super cool, really made my day

A nice selection with friendly people. The place was fairly busy when I got there but I was assisted in five minutes or so. The person helping me seemed a bit overwhelmed and not extremely helpful (maybe new?), but I use concentrates and edibles and kind of knew what I wanted. They have a great selection with prices similar to what I have seen elsewhere.  I did not look at flowers. I will go here for convenience and access to accessories, but stick to my local shop for getting my medicinal knowledge.

Second visit to a nectar outlet (the 1st being the 82nd street location) and while both don't disappoint as far as selection and pricing the sandy store has a little bit more lobby space, which made it feel a little more comfortable without as much rush to browse their extensive menu, but no matter what location you choose you can always  count on accurate price per quality ratio, knowledgable staff, and good deals!

Free roll Friday, first of all! A+I haven't been here before but I am happy to know it's close to my new apt. Open earlier than other dispensaries which helped me out today. Michael was awesome and took time to show me what they had, was super nice and patient and recommended something to get me through my last class project. Friendly vibes all around, really great place to go

I visited this store today and it was great. The staff are always so patient and knowledgeable. They take care of their customers, I have first hand experience!

The worst dispensary ever I highly don't recommend this shit . They are expensive and their weed is not at all worth I've tried all of their strangers and they all bad don't waste your money .

They have a huuge selection! Like it's kind of overwhelming. We tried the taffy sativa edibles with  caffeine/energy supplements they had- it gave us a stomach ache like our bodies couldn't digest it. Never getting those again. I've always loved the Wyld raspberry gummies- get em.We also tried their flower. The dude working was really knowledgeable. He helped us maneuver through the wall of weed. Probably won't go back.

Great experience at this location! Special shout out to Sloan, who was kind and knowledgeable, helping me pick out the perfect selection without feeling rushed!I will definitely be coming back due to the excellent customer service, and signed up for the loyalty program. 10/10

I would go with the other location instead of this one. The employees looked completely bored and the staff I got assigned to had no idea what strain was indica or Sativa. She told me that a strain was misprinted on the menu as a Sativa when it was really an Indica, but when I looked it up when I got home, it's the same Sativa strain that I told her I wanted to avoid by that company, the "create" strain. She tried to upsell me and had no idea what she was doing. She was just guessing almost time I asked her a question. I ended up blowing $30 on stuff that isn't what I need. When I told her that I'm looking for something relaxing, she said that's almost everything in the store. That's not how weed works with an individual's body chemistry. I don't know why she's employed here. She could have at least looked up the strains instead of guessing.

I'm not entirely sure if I go into Nectar for the weed, or for the conversation. The employees make me feel like a million dollars. They always have such nice things to say! I'll admit those pre-rolls aren't the best. But when you're ballin on a budget, take what you can get. If you choose to hold your expectations high on a joint that cost less than $4, that would seem to be more of a personal problem.

Very friendly staff and a huge selection makes this a great place to find whatever you are looking for.Also this is a great location with off street parking located right at the hub of Sandy Blvd and I-84 so it really is on the way to everywhere

DREAMS CAN COME TRUE!!!!I just had the most excellent experience at Nectar. First let me say that the space was super clean and well organized. The way the store is laid out provided me with countless options without any confusion or clutter. The price structure is well thought out and very easy to navigate. My bud tender, Dave, is a real class act. He is friendly and knowledgeable and he very much went out of his way to ensure that my experience was second to none. Being on a budget he worked with me so that I was able to receive the very best value for my dollars. A++ Keep it up Nectar and Dave and you'll have a loyal customer for life!

Forced employees to continue working the same day after the store was robbed at gunpoint. I have heard that they are terrible to employees in other ways as well.

I went in not knowing anything about anything and somehow walked out with a product i very thoroughly enjoyed. Their staff was so knowledgeable and attentive.

Usually have a simple easy almost perfect experience going. If I was rating this time alone I would give 1 star but since I have been going prior, with no bad experiences 3 stars. Usually with Covid the requirements are pretty solid. You stand distanced from the cashier masks required, even got curb side pickup. So you can imagine my surprise when the cashier stuck their hand in my jar of herb to show me the bud like pre Covid. I get she was being nice and all. But seriously? I intend to smoke that later, even with a lighter I don't need your *hands* on my weed while your also dealing with a cash register. It's absolutely disgusting and not safe.

I normally always go to the location in Gresham. Randomly my GPS took me here. Walking in the store is clean, well taken care of. Customer service on point, very friendly and helpful. It was kind of busy but never once felt rushed. The bud tender was very knowledgeable in their product. Really good deals that change week by week quality flowers. Definitely recommend.

This dispensary is a letdown. I didn't get what I expected, someone mislabeled the flower. Now I've got 14 grams that I will probably give away. It makes me too drowsy. Luckily I have other dispensaries that are much better. I will not go back to nectar on Sandy.
