Awesomest shop in town!!!I love the family environment.  Getting the green carpet treatment.  As a return customer i highly recommend this place to visit. Its north portland landmark to me. Seriously. A landmark...not youre average pot shop. I suggest everyone check out Paul and his family at Best Buds as i feel it extends towards his patients/friends/clients.us....Thank you Best Buds. Byfar the best all around shop in town. I live in Oregon City and travel 20 miles to support the love I've been shown! The staff are like heros, awesomely humble. EVERYONE there makes me feel welcome as i first arrived. They have awesome deals on cartridges. I fit best buds into my best buds budget. They return the kindness as anyone who visits will see that this shop is a staple in the marijuana environment!  As their products and aura succeed any shop in pdx. No matter how fancy smanschsy the decor or how big a t..v. they have.  Best Buds wont sell out like most shops ive visited in pdx, luring us in. confusing me by showing off how luxuriously lush their extravagant voyer of a waiting room is...and you see the selection of product or lack of and leave not buying anything. BEST Buds doesnt need to do that...although the art there for sale is very sensually moving in a portland manor.. and the layout is simple and feng shui is awesome. They put more into their attitudesthan looks and thats oregon to me all the way...and product!!!.hands down im wrapped round a fatty..l never shop elsewhere thanks guys

I want to start by saying that I'm not a believer in many things herbal. I take vitamins in conjunction with western medicine to stay "healthy" and always rely on the advice of doctors for ailments.  With that being said, I decided to try a CBD product for a problematic knee that I've dealt with for 9 months to no avail. I know one of the employees,  Tony, at PBB and he's always said I should try it. I don't smoke and never have so I was curious about what my options are with the products available that wouldn't affect my daily life, just my pain. I settled with a lotion that smells amazing. He answered all my questions,  let me look, try and gave me all my options for what I wanted to spend. I used my product immediately and within just hours, I felt better. It's 2 days later now and I find that I have more energy and definitely little to no pain at all. I am now a believer.  The staff was professional,  not pushy and very knowledgable about the products.

My FAVORITE place to buy flowers! I love Best Buds! Always have the best options and prices  in North Portland!

Everyone here is so educated and they have so many more options than most places around. You can get deals on the joints every day for cheap and they have anything CBD that you need. Anytime I'm in here I feel so welcomed and they always have deals going on every day! If you're not in St Johns or North Portland, it's still worth your drive!

My boyfriend Luka introduced this dispensary to me, and it's quickly become my new favorite. We just moved to the neighborhood, Best Buds feels like a neighborhood spot. I appreciate knowing that regardless of my finances, I can scrounge up $10 for 3 joints that are the perfect size to finish in one sitting and feel satisfied. I also love their selection of apothecary/body goods. The art in the gallery is an added bonus! And all of the budtenders are so down to earth and easy to talk to. We always look forward to stopping by!

I've been here a few times. I'm really not a fan of the dispensary model. The "for show" nugs usually look like decent pieces but what you get isn't always legit. I bought a gram recently only to find most of what they sold me were the little schwaggy, underdeveloped buds you find twds the bottom of the plant. These pieces taste horrible no matter the strain and they don't really get u lifted. $16 bucks for about .2g of ganja. Sweeeeet! Thanks, fellas. Will not be back.

I've been here several times. Their selection is pretty good and they're knowledgeable about the bud. Staff is friendly!I like coming on Mondays for the $20 1/8. Can't recommend them enough!

Best products and the nicest staff! Love everything I get here. I especially enjoy their happy hour! Such an awesome community spot. I was so pleased with the service I received from budtenders Jasmine and Christine! They were both knowledgeable, kind, and generous. :)

Great dispensary. Good selection of vape cartridges and happy hour every day from 4:20-6:20! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful as well.

We love coming here. Best selection, best people, best vibes. And they're always so kind to our dog. Always worth the nice drive out to St. John's for a buy here.

This place already is at the lower end of my list for dispensaries. Really sub par options for bud, not to mention over priced. But they are open earlier than most & are close to my house which is what keeps my going back from time to time. Staff is pretty great for the most part besides one bud tender there. Not sure of his name but he's typically extremely rude & today, after enforcing their new policy of no more then 2 people in the dispensary very rudely, he held up a long line because he wanted to talk "protests & bullshit tactics by our government" presumably to sound smart in an attempt to impress the woman he was helping. She couldn't care less about what he was saying but his ego (or lack of) shrouded his ability to read her posture and he continued to rant until I couldn't take it anymore and walked out. I know I'm not the only one who won't go there anymore because of him specifically. Overpriced, Dick head employee and lack of variety are why I'm not going here again.  CURED is the best in N Portland.

Cute shop but really low quality flower choices for really high prices.. plus the employees seemed in a really bad mood and not interested in helping me.

This place is so rad. Their customer service is absolutely top notch. Honestly, I've been to "nicer" or "fancier" dispensaries, but this place just keeps bringing me back because of the awesome people they employ. Thanks for the continued service, I'll continue to keep coming here as long as I'm in St. John's.

this is the best dispensary i've ever been to. the people are dope as hell, everyone is always energetic and greets you with a smile and kind words! i absolutely love this place, keep it up!

This is normally my go-to store, as it is in my neighborhood and has a decent CBD selection. Most of the time my customer service experiences are good here; I cannot have ANY THC for work, and because it gives me a massive, splitting headache. The staff is accommodating and gives good recommendations, and usually isn't judgmental. However, about a month ago (the last time I was here,) there was a very rude gentleman who snapped at my wife and I the second we got in, "You want some joints?" No, we don't. He proceeded to rush us, even though it was twenty minutes to close. I said I wanted only CBD, and he proceeded to recommend products with THC in it. I repeated that I don't want THC, all the while he is refusing to listen and continued to push whatever was conveniently close to him. Eventually we just said, "forget it" and got some random gummies, completely bypassing his recommendations. I'll probably be back, but perhaps they should consider hiring people that won't completely ignore what their customer wants. I'm considering buying online now so I don't have to deal with that unpleasant jerk again. We actually left more stressed and frustrated; isn't that the complete opposite of what a dispensary should do?

Not likely to return. I've had too many weird experiences here, including today's staff member that had a safety concern abt me leaving my dog in the car for 5 minutes (legit) in 72 degree weather with windows open. He waited next to my car to school me as I was leaving.  So over this civilian policing Portland. SMH

Why? Why is the pictured flower $10/g? Every time I come here the regret begins as I'm waiting for them to specially pick every bud with their tongs and place it carefully into the container-never do they dare to touch one of these precious nugs with their freshly gloved hand- and concludes when I get home and feel how dry, clumped and rough the herb is and filled with it. This should be $3/gram and $10 is laughable.

The budtenders here are really knowledgeable and super friendly!  Best buds indeed.I came in to ask some questions about this fancy vape pen stuff and I left with a new toy.  Sweet!

Good staff and selection

Place is spectacular along with their friendly staff. The fact they let me get half gram increments really tops it off because a gram is never enough and two typically leaves a little left out from my blunts.

One of my favorite places hands down , you get top shelf everything have not once bought something I wasn't happy with . The bud tenders are absolutely amazing even the newer ones , they are like a little family and it makes you more comfortable. The building is always clean and kept nice . All and all I recommend 100%. ❤️

When I was new to Portland this was one of the first shops I found and I've been coming here ever since. I think they have best flower with an affordable price. On top of that, I really enjoy interacting with the awesome staff. Although, I recently had a bad experience with a staff member that I felt the need to share. About a month ago a staff member who I didn't recognize as one of my usual bud tenders helped me he had red hair and one of those newspaper boy type hats. He made me feel very rushed and unwelcomed. I usually enjoy picking the bud tenders' brains on what each flower has to offer, but I could tell this bud tender didn't really know anything about the product or which product to recommend when I asked about the different top shelf indicas. He just didn't give me the same vibes that the shop is known for.
