Great shop. Great selection of products and accessories. Very clean with a knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Their delivery service is wildly unreliable. If you place an order, there's no guarantee it'll be delivered. When I called to ask about the status of my delivery, the receptionist replied that their delivery driver went home early so I should just drive over if I want anything.Also, their prices are a bit higher for similar quality at other spots. Don't recommend.

Everyone was so nice and helpful! The dispensary was super clean and organized and they have a nice selection. Michelle helped me today and I had so many questions! She was super knowledgeable and really kind. Will definitely be back soon! Thanks Michelle!

I've been shopping at motor from the day it opened and I've always gotten great service and great product. I will always come back to Mota.   Just recently, I stopped by and picked up an edible. Unfortunately, the product was defective, I went back within a few minutes Ruben and Erika We're kind enough to exchange the product without any question.

Love everything about MOTA; they reuse their containers, have a recycling program, are super knowledgeable and friendly. My favorite place to buy from.

UNHAPPY 420 at MOTA on Sunset.  This morning I received this email :no, you are correct. It means buy 1 get one free. I can help you place an order if you so desire. When I went end I showed the girl at the counter the email.   She stated that I was at the wrong place. She said that I was at MOTA  not MOTO.  She was wrong.  Then she had another girl help me (with attitude). Rushing me saying WHAT DO YOU WANT?   Very rude. So I backed up and walked away from her.  Then I was helped by the guy who's has always been helpful on past visit.  Purchased my goods and left.  What I'm trying to say is that the female clerks cant be helpful they should be there.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I had a really bad experience at this shop. First time customer at "MOTA" LA! The team has horrible customer service let alone no people skills. I was at the front desk checking in and the white guy was so rude and obnoxious. He buzzes me into the back of the dispensary and theirs a white chick at the counter. Another employee with an attitude. Such a horrible experience. Most likely will not be returning even if my name "MOTA" is on the front of the building.

This was my first time checking out this place and all I can say is that it's Terrible place and I didn't buy anything. They don't even recognize you once you Enter nor once you get in. Everything is super expensive. I don't understand how their prices are between $60-80. I don't recommend this place at all. Don't come here!

I started working in this location......The Neighborhood looks nice and friendly with shops still open ....so I started walking around the neighborhood......and I seen this spot on the corner and it said Mota......I Really like the sound of that....soooooooooooo I walked in ....Once I walked in ...I Seeeeeeeeeeeen friendly faces looking at me.....Once I Noticed the SmellI noticed something Different around here ...Soooooooooooo I said 2my self......Let's GoooooooooooooooooSeeeeeeeeeeee them again and I Did ....Thank you .....I'll Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeya soooooooooooon In 2 weeks....

Cool concept for a store and love the way you enter the shop. Wanted to try a new dispensary so I got their flowhite 10 pack joints right now. Will update review if the flower is decent but a little disappointing to find the 10 pack actually only had 8 so thats a bummer. :(

It saddens me to say after years of supporting this establishment I will no longer recommend or shop here. The owners are amazing but the staff is rude and very condescending....

Haven't been impressed with my last few visits here.Brought two empty Dosist pens back and picked up a new one, didn't realize until later I didn't get the recycling credit deducted from my purchase.Tried the MOTA Focus CBD oil, which gave me a headache and made my partner nauseous (the flavor is very strong, which wasn't mentioned when I bought it). When I went back in to share my concern, the guy working seemed to not believe me - 'other people love it' - and wasn't interested in offering something else that might work. On my previous visit I actually asked for a Focus sample because I figured it would be helpful to try before committing, and they said that only the owner can give those out. Any time I've been there, the owner is not around. The Focus oil can't be returned, so it's now just sitting in my cupboard......next to 20 *very* expensive 'Breez' CBD mints (35 bucks for 20 mints) which I do like but won't purchase again because the price point is crazy.Was also recommended CBD gummies after expressing that I was looking for something vegan. Checked the ingredients. They're not vegan.Maybe they're more interested in/knowledgeable about selling products that lean more heavily in the THC direction.

I have made purchases from quite a few places for CBC and THC in the Silverlake area. I highly recommend MOTA.  They are fantastic.  If any counter attendant cannot answer my questions they will ask their coworker's, or manager's. Radical place man. Taylor is very attentive and was very helpful when I couldn't decide on which vape product I wanted. I had many many questions on the different strains and you could tell he really enjoyed explaining all of the products to me. Go see Taylor!  He'll be very patient and spend alot of the with you to help you make your decision!

Travel all the way from West Hollywood for these guys! Great product and always super helpful and knowledgeable! Couldn't recommend them enough and as much as I miss Circus of Books, I'm very happy MOTA is who took over this location. Thanks for everything!

Do not give these people your money. They don't pay their staff on time, and run a scattered shit show of a business. They don't deserve their license.

Legit AF shop. If you have no idea what you want to buy, and might actually just be a tourist in CA (much like I was), just wanting to experience this new world, this place is great! Ask for Taylor! His recommendations,  and the amount of time he took to explain effects and benefits was outstanding. He did this while ringing other folks out pleasantly. I even got to talk to some other of his friends and patrons. Totally cool spot!

I hate leaving terrible reviews. But when I'm calling to ask if a product is in stock and I'm basically hung up on and told: "I'm sorry. I have to get back to checking people in", well before I was done asking questions, then that's a sign of a poorly run shop. Then when I go in...the care by design cartridge is more than double the going rate of other shops at $70 for a half gram, then I know this place is truly wack. Also, this place loses points for taking off the circus of books sign that was so absolutely historic to the old neighborhood and a huge part of my childhood. Go elsewhere for care by design products and I'm assuming your other needs, cause this place is gutting folks. CCA in echo park is dope AF. Avoid these gentrifiers.

After being a customer for a few years, and hoping these employees were just having bad days....IM DONE!!!!! DONE!!!!! EXTREMELY self-righteous and condescending employees, which is funny since this business relies on their customers for support. If you're looking for a friendly store with fun weed options THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR YOU. Draining sad environment with EXTREMELY LIMITED OPTIONS. NOT WORTH IT unless you're a glutton for punishment and in your face attitude.

This is my go-to neighborhood place. Every time I go in, I feel welcomed and I can always find what I'm looking for. They have great deals and the staff is very friendly! Their selection of glass is great too. I've tried other spots in the area but MOTA has earned my loyalty as a regular customer. Cash only during quarantine, but they have an ATM for your convenience in the lobby. Check it out!

FIRET OF ALL - this is NOT "medicine of the ANGELS (MOTA)" this is "medicine of the DEVILS (MOTD)".They replaced a really amazing smoke shop with a really lame weed shop. Not only was the service disastrous but we couldn't even get what we wanted. :(

This is the worst dispensary ever. I had high hopes for this place. Only came twice and got crappy medicine for an expensive price. The herb was tiny scraps in the jars and dry. Said it was 30% THC but felt like brick weed. No flavor either. What a waste. Taylor was not pleasant to deal with when I complained in person even after the daytime manger said I could come in and exchange. I will NEVER be back. BEWARE if you want good herb medicine this place is NOT it. Update: the Fatso OG they gave me after I gave them back their crappy quarter of Granimal was even drier and less quality. Very disappointed. I expected more from MOTA. So much good silverlake history at that location.

don't buy clones from this store - they have spider mites!fortunately (sadly, really) i've learned not to trust most dispensaries selling clones - they very likely have powdery mildew, and on occasion mites - so i at least kept the two plants quarantined so the infestation didn't spread to my other plants. and yes, of course i asked what they used to treat the plants and if they had any bugs / pm, and of course they denied it.i saw another review praise their "business ethics" - that's pretty good for a laugh. buncha sleazy conmen.

Searched for local dispensaries while hanging with an out of town friend and this spot popped up. Eh. Limited stock, no specials, and ho hum sorta kinda helpful cannatenders.

Super friendly staff and great selection! Plus they have a recycling program!! They also have Kikoko tea in stock regularly, which some of the other local dispensaries never seem to have!

I Saw MOTA was in Silverlake  and thought to myself great another boutique overpriced yoga yuppie hip gag me pot shop . nope these people were Great Medicine was better than most spots , and while they had some hipsters as customers the staff did not ostracize me for being an old cracker ( i didn't ask to be white - i blame my parents) . But seriously on the up and up i  always have mixed feelings about  giving  great reviews  and then having to deal with long lines but ultimately i respect dedication, effort and well thought through business models including floor plan and staff , and MOTA is a great example of doing it right . ps my qualification in this area ? glad you ask , I was the plant manager of Los Angeles first medical  cannabis dispensary, then its vice president and The federal Judge who tried us after Big Pharmas Private security ( aka Dea ) raided us serving their  unjust masters , The toughest 9th circuit judge  Howard Matz chided the prosecution' US Notspecial attorney Patrick " Prick" Fitzgerald and the Aforementioned terrorist Lap dogs Of corporate scum big pharma for raiding us and prosecuting us because  we helped real patients in real ways / Thanks MOTA you're doing  Gods Work ( she probably appreciates you like i do )

When I walked away I felt pretty good about my purchase.. I bought CBDAlive for my dog... and apothecanna "stimulating" for myself for my neuroma's on my feet.   The guy recommended this would be the best.  It hasn't worked.  I contacted apothcanna about it and they let me know that the stimulating had been discontinued and replaced with a much more powerful blend called feet and leg circulation.  They also felt this would not even be powerful enough that the person should have sold me extra strength line. I am frustrated that I wasted money on a product that won't work because this location was selling discontinued product and were not educated.

Kinda my go to place in the Los Feliz/silverlake area. Excellent flower, mindfully grown is my understanding, great prices, friendly knowledgeable staff. Not a million strains but a very nice selection, what they have that i have tried have all been  excellent. Also they sell grams of all top shelf flower. Low key...so not Med Men which for me is a plus.

I love this place!  I was one of the first customers when they first opened and I have been a loyal customer ever since. The team is super friendly and they are extremely pet friendly. MOTA has gone through a lot of changes in the past year. And congrats to them. They have all of their top shelf flower back in stock. As well high their own high quality extracts. They carry the very popular dosist, kava, cheeba chews, and gold caps. They don't have a large variety of CBD related products. But there are local stores that have that. I really recommend making MOTA your go to medical shop.

FTP and would prob never go back unless I was super desperate. Chill dudes that work there. The receptionist was nice and the dude that helped my friend and I inside seemed like he was bothered by the fact that he has to help us. The quality of their herb isn't the greatest. I got their top shelf which was not top shelf quality, seemed like old flower. Their pre-rolled joints were a let down as well. I think this place is more hype and ascetics.

MOTA is a friendly place with a knowledgeable staff who have good memories. The selection is good -- there are "new" products like CBD, which didn't exist back in the day. The only drawback is lack of enough parking, but that's not MOTA's fault! I recommend MOTA, it's a nice place with a good vibe.

The only positive thing is the nice place, don't be fooled. These guys had no clue about the only FECO/RSO oil that they sold. When I questioned about it they even seemed kinda irritated that I was asking. They claim their house grown bud is organic but have nothing to back up the claim and don't sound too enthusiastic about it when asked if it is or not. People need to know about their products plain and simple, humans worry and want to know they're consuming safe products. Be better, this makes me sad about the industry.

This place is your least favorite Portlandia sketch. Every question I asked seemed to rob the soul of the snide, condescending lady behind the counter  in her Wiz Khalifa shirt as she looked down the bridge of her formerly pierced nose at me. The expectation seemed to be that I should know everything about weed and the rate of absorption in its various forms and the difference between THC and THCA, etc., etc. When did it become uncool NOT to be a pot vendor who is an expert in weed? I guess I'm just a dilettante who moonlights as a guy that dabbles in grass. The staff acted like they were in a scene from Narcos where they were the kingpins with all the coke and I was some square asking too many questions. You're a weed store. One of many. Like a Starbucks that cards you. Some people coming into your store might not be well versed in the nuances and chemistry of all things weed, thus compelling them to ask you - hold your nose - questions and perhaps, even, for a...suggestion. How gauche. The attitude in this place was as though I walked into the produce section of a grocery store and asked what a carrot was and how to use one. If only there were other places in LA to find weed we wouldn't all be so beholden to the rare bird with avian flu that is this weed store.

Charging $30 which is $10 more than everyone else for their green hornets, good in a pinch but that's insanely overpriced when literally two miles away you can get them for $20

The first time I came in here I bought a battery that stopped working fairly quickly.   I was told i could exchange it if there were any problems.  So I came back a few weeks later asking to exchange it.  The guy behind the counter said they don't sell that brand anymore so they couldn't exchange it.  But he'd give me a deal on a new one.  He recommended Plume.  Said it was the best one.  So I got two.  One as a backup.  I was told i could exchange them if there were any problems.  They both stopped working within a few weeks.  I came back again.  I was told they didn't sell Plume anymore so they couldn't exchange it but they would give me a deal on a new one.  So I didn't even argue.  I didn't have the energy.  I just walked out and  went to the other dispensary I used to go to.  People that work there are nice and it's a nice facility but I can't get over the blatant advantage taking  of returning customers.  Done.  Never again.

The WORST. Went to this place on 4/20 in hopes of finding a great new shop and hopefully some great holiday deals. I left feeling scammed & insulted. The entire shop consists of a single line of glass cases at which you're allowed to peer at a tiny selection of pre-packaged goods. I pointed to a plastic vial of "Blue Dream" and asked how much it was? The girl behind the counter says, "We're having a special today for $60." Are you fucking kidding me? THAT'S your special? On 4/20?! An 1/8th that would cost $35-45 literally anywhere else for the past ten years?! Sadly I bought it because I didn't have time to go anywhere else. Then she tells me it's $2.00 for a bag to take my $60 1/8th home in, but the guy at the register doesn't charge me for it and for some reason she lets it go like nothing about the $2 was ever said. Then she points me to a table stacked with t-shirts and says, "there's free t-shirts and goodies." A guy asks "what size?" and hands me a hideous black t-shirt with their logo on it as I stare at a box of Krispy Kreme's but am not offered one. This place SUCKS. I left feeling dirty and threw the shirt in the trash. Will never be back. Amateurs. They'll be closed within 6 months.

I go in today to get my second timer discount and all the sudden they're telling me that it's buy 1 get 1 50% off I think that's very misleading. I will not be returning to this location
