Great product, great selection, great prices. However, the service is hit or miss. I've been going here for about a year now. If on my first visit I had received the same rude service as today, I would have never returned. And it felt racially driven too. Was like the employee couldn't be bothered to help me, the customer. When I asked about the products in front of me, they just stated their names, wouldn't give me any information. Sorry, but a name, and a quick sniff only tells you so much about a strain. And in all the years I've been going to dispensaries, I've NEVER had someone put two strains in the same container, separated by a piece of paper; they also didn't write down the names of the products either. I'm still gonna give them another chance, but I hope that the next time I can get assistance from staff who can act kindly and professionally. Had it not been for the bad service, woulda been 5 stars.

They sell spliffin maverick disposable vapes. They only have two strains: one sativa and one indica. It's 75% thc and .3ml. The oil vape was 30 bucks plus 9.5% sales tax and 5% medical rec tax. Total came to about $34. It's not a bad location and was pretty empty on a Saturday at 4pm. Those bags though are hard af to open. After a few tries I said screw it and just cut the son of a gun. They have first timers spin the wheel and honestly there was nothing on it I wanted. He gave me a free preroll, but then charged me a buck for it. I should've said no thanks cuz I don't smoke prerolls anyway. I would go back if they have a sale. Private parking lot had about 20 spaces or so and quick check-in.

First time in a dispensary in LA and I had a wonderful experience. This place had great product for great prices. The young lady who help us was great. She was patient and very knowledgable of all the products. She made it very easy and comfortable for us.

Very cool spacious spot. Security was friendly. Velma was knowledgeable and kind.  Loved the menu and the teaching videos.

La Brea collective is our go-to shop for all cannabis needs! It's always a quick with the free parking and short lines which is convenient as we're always on the go. Not only is it convenient but the staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. I've tried many shops in LA and this remains our favorite. I'd highly recommend!

Wow. This spot is open 365 days a year people!The history of this place is truly mesmerizing. The quality and service here warrants their reputation as being one of the original dispensaries in Los Angeles. Their flower is clean, testing true potency and flavor. They have a variety for everyone's budget, and categorize their strains by top shelf, shake, and organic sun grown. They also have a vast edible selection- decadent chocolates, gummies galore, sugar free capsules/tinctures, beverages, and baked goods. If you catch them on a Monday- you'll get 10% off! Also- they're happy hour is also something DEFINITELY worth checking out. Their two best categories: top shelf and premium shelf are MEGA DISCOUNTED to $39 per 1/8th. INCLUDING TAX! That's the best deal on the block, if you ask me especially for top shelf. GO visit them if you're looking for variety of cannabis option. Also, if you need a little insight- the budtenders provide the best compassionate care. They are all very knowledgeable, kind, and have upbeat attitudes. The atmosphere at this store is so positive and welcoming. Miles and Ashley helped me choose exactly what I needed. Their response highlights and underscores what I originally wrote (and what many other former customers wrote) about them. Please spend your precious money elsewhere. Original review *******If you ever call here to check on what they have in stock, be prepared to not have your call answered. If by some miracle someone does answer your call, be prepared to be told that they don't give out such information over the phone. If you ever decide to go there in person, be prepared to be lied to about what's top shelf, and what's not. And be prepared to pay top shelf prices for throwaway junk. These people flat out lie, and sell (to put it nicely) subpar, falsely categorized buds. There are way too many other honest, good quality options in town for anyone to waste their money and time on this place and their shady staff.

This dispo has great staff,  especially rudy, miles and marissa. But there are limited options for top grade bud. Would really like to see some alien labs and connected flower.

I love this shop! My budtender, Cheese, was very knowledgeable regarding strains. I told him how I wanted to feel and took his recommendations. I bought a 1/2 oz of Green Lantern and 1 oz of Pluto OG. The Green Lantern is a perfect daytime strain, while the Pluto has become my favorite evening strain to relax with until eventually getting couch locked into a peaceful sleep. I also love the wheel of fortune!!! Bring your own containers and/or a canned good to receive discounts and free spins! Really cool vibe in this shop. I make a point to stop in whenever I'm on the Westside!

LBC has been in the business as long as any other shop out there (for good reason) and I keep going back. Central location with ample off-street parking, excellent prices, and an extensive selection! Unfortunately they have been hampered by new regulations which make certain aspects of the experience beyond their control (like taxes and pre-packaged product)... but that's ALL shops in the city. They follow the law and I know they are a compliant store, which is a plus considering how many stores out there are operating illegally. At the end of the day, this has always been a reliable place to get any kind of quality bud or vape cartridges I need for a great price. Thank you guys!

First off, I will not come back simply because the front desk "security guard" makes TSA agents look friendly. I even had to put my stuff in a bin & walk through the detector lol! What an asshole. Secondly the pre-rolled I bought is small, weak & not what was labeled as on the jar in the store. Sketchy place. No thanks. Buh-bye.

False advertising. Leafly deal states buy two get one free daily deals on vapes but they refused to honor it when i called to confirm before driving over. They also do not carry the Delta9 brand that they have listed on their online menu.

The guy that helped me was beyond rude especially considering how nice he was to the client before me, and i picked up top shelf and the weed is straight garbage.

Been coming here since 2011, maybe earlier, and I am sad to say tonight might have been my last visit. I loved coming here, despite it frequently being busy and there being a wait. The service was always friendly, the prices fair, the deals fantastic. I was always welcomed by familiar faces and watched employees rise through the ranks over the years. Employees gave the impression they liked to be there, and it showed in their loyalty to the business and the customers. Some even remembered my name which felt really special. Unfortunately over the last year since the laws have been changing they have been obviously struggling. Rarely do I see more than one other customer or a single familiar face, and both new and old employees seem... burdened. Policies are unclear and ever changing, as are the prices and explanations of changes. I haven't looked forward to my last several visits due to the hit or miss service.No benefit of going out of my way to hit up LBC when delivery or the shop near my house is just as good or better.Sorry guys.

This business is poorly situated in an area that is desperately struggling to improve the face and business activities for the neighborhood. I now understand why ELAT Bakery closed their neighboring location. In addition, the signage is crude and primitive.

Good selection of trees & solid first time patient deals as well. Every new customer gets to spin the wheel! They're cash only like most places and they don't have an atm so make sure you bring cash. Staff & security are all pretty chill as long as you are too.

This place has the best quality weed in town. They're also one of the longest running shops. They follow the rules to the T so I am always comfortable here.

I have been coming here for years and they have never disappointed me.  The choices are amazing. They have everything and anything you need.  The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.  They make me feel welcome every time I go there.  I love the variety because sometimes I have less money and that doesn't stop them from giving me the best deal for what I have to spend.  I love the wheel and all their different specials.  I have been many places but always come back to LBC!! I absolutely love this place! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable in the products they carry. They always have a great selection of potent products from flower to vape carts. Definitely coming back here again - never disappointed!

The owner or manager guy was nice and patient with me during check in process then he explained with ton of knowledge what I should get for someone in my family who has been suffering with cancer and I really appreciated their help. parking is easy, friendly staff, easy walk in and out, not a bad neighborhood, that s pretty much all you need from a dispensary. of course good weed is a plus.

First time here. I have a letter of recommendation, and an out of state I.d, with prof of residence I was gladly accepted here. Front desk was friendly. As soon as I walked to the back I was surprised, didn't expect it to be that nice and clean. The staff was helpful, and as a new patient, I was given a free gram, and spun the wheel for a gift (free flavored j with flowers, hash, and wax). I only had a $20, so with the free first time gram, and free j I came out with 3 grams and a j! Definitely worth visiting again.

Fave Collective in town! Always a great selection for whatever your needs are. Everyone who works here is rad, personal and all around great. I'm always looking for weak flowers and CBD products so they know my roll now which makes things so much easier. I highly recommend

Place is very easy to find, pre packed, hoghnthc on sativa (which i love) check them out!

This dispensary is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE in So Cal.  Extensive selection of high grades. What really got me though was they had CHEESE.  That is my favorite strain of all time. It was the best representation of it I have ever seen. But they also had a lot of other hard to finders in Nor Cal too. Definitely will take the time to come back when i'm back.

Well, thus far a little disappointed.. I have been going to Exhale (which I love!), for some time. They always quickly answer the phone, questions, etc. and have great products and prices...but I wanted to try this place as closer to where I live. I called at least eight times today over a five hour period and no answer.....I left two messages hours ago asking them to please call asap (as I was nearby and wondered if they had a product) and it is now 7:08 and not a peep or call back and still no one answering. I have heard nice things about them but to me, this is absolutely a mistake that shouldn't be made...sadness...... : (

I wouldn't touch this place with a 10 foot pole.  I visited LBC for the first time and purchased two, top-shelf quarter ounces.  She took my money and gave me a stapled bag with my purchase inside without letting me examine the packages.  I thought it felt light, so I opened it in the store and found she had only put one quarter in there, so basically shorting me over $100.  Honest mistake I thought.  So I take my whole purchase now, and start reading the labels.  The "top shelf" flower I just purchased was FOURTEEN PERCENT THC.  That's below bottom shelf in any other state, where close to 25% is the norm for top.  The other quarter had "N/A" for all the testing values, and this is after California has mandated tested values on all product, so who knows how low it was.  To add insult to injury, all their prices are quoted without tax and are basically the same as anywhere else.  This means what you end up paying is about 25% more than normal.  I'm filing a complaint with the cannabis control board for the untested product they sold me.  Steer clear.

Great people, daily deals, and best selection around. The service is fast. The selection of edibles is on par. They just opened an accessory shop in the corner. The are open noon until 8pm. They sometime have free 8th days!

Best concentrates on this side of town with bystanders who really know their stuff! I'd say if your in the area and cruising around for a dispensary this one is definitely worth checking out! Great buds and a ton of your wants and needs to get you lifted!

I recently went to LBC for the first time in a while and it was a big step up!! Their variety of flower still isn't what it used to be, but they've got Honey Vape disposables now for better prices than most!!

This is as good as it gets. This is my first review on yelp concerning collectives and there are not very many to really raise much of an eyebrow or get that excited about. But I have to admit, this place gets two outstanding and vigorous (to the point of being extremely geeky) thumbs up! This part of the review is not for the "come and go" (although youll be happy if you do) customer, Im writing this next part for the person who wants to have the best experience at a collective LA has to offer:I absolutely adore the atmosphere and environment. (Could use an A/C during the really hot days) but I cant think of a better collective. I love first off, that the employees are all very knowledgeable and well versed in the different ways to medicate. I have yet to meet a better tightly knit group of intelligent young people. Admittedly the prices of the medicine are not as much as Ive seen at other stores and the quality is clearly a step above the normal "all organic" selection you might come across town. I can tell you with much certainty however I pass more than one collective to bring my friends for their first visit to this place on which they will receive a(for the donation amount) 5.0g 1/8 First I suggest you arrive with food in your stomach, trust me, if you get here and you have an empty stomach your not going to last long There are no food or drinks allowed. Although they do have water, you will really want to eat your own hand off if you get there without nourishment. Next, I suggest that you bring a friend and you also have (as much as you can muster) free time for the visit. The budtenders are full of personality and each has there own nuance. You wont feel rushed or expected to leave, its about as welcome as Ive felt in any collective.I really, really like this spot, just in case you couldnt tell.

Love this place. It's pretty intimidating from the outside with the steel door and the huge security guards, but everyone is really friendly. The flowers are extremely high quality for middle range prices. Upstairs is the lounge with seating for about 12, a water cooler and a bigscreen. You can buy by the bowl if you like which is convenient. The budtenders will assist with lighting hash bowls, or you can take a bong to the couch and use your own. It was a nice way to spend an hour watching the game. This is my go-to dispensary now, even though it's a few miles away from my neighborhood.

Bomb herb!! But I feel like a criminal when I come. The security guards and steel heavy door with the slot to pass my paper work to?I am still on the hunt for my favorite dispensary. This one would be it if it wasn't for the not so nice security guards "lighten up guys, I'm only a 100 pound female getting my meds" the gals are wonderful and very helpful  and id make this my permanent spot if it wasnt for the security guards that make me nervous and tense like a drive by is going to occur  So I am still on the hunt.

I love this place and I go here for the Hash bar they have upstairs. It is a great place to relax but also a great place to network and make friends with like minded individuals. I haven't found a has bar in Los Angeles better then this one!

This place is stupid and has a 50 foot bar they don't let u use. They have zeroooo compassion . Really terrible job caring about their patients. AVOID!!!!

I have spent so much money here as we'll as brought them buisness I got here at 7:48  the guy at the front told me  they me they where closed when I know they close at 8 because I come here every other day I started to walk away and another guy tries to get in and they let him in like I thought it was closed. So I will never reccomend this place or ever give this collective my money because for one they don't respect thier loyal customers as we'll as the bud tenders some show favoritism if they don't like u and u ask for an 8 th u will probally get home and realize it's only 3.1 sad that thier customer service is so shitty because I like the setup of the shop  but most of the ppl in her suck .

The people at this place are the coolest! Flower will always vary from spot to spot but they do have dankaroos.  They have a chill lounge as well.

Top notch.  This is the place you have been looking for all along.  No lying, as Hash Bars go, this beats out any spot in Amsterdam for service, atmosphere, or selection.  Great people, great customers. You must go here.  Also there is no point in visiting unless you go upstairs.

The best place to pick up some fire. They got some bomb thin mints and by far i think had the best weed so far. First time patient gets to spin the wheel of goodies! And they have good goldfish edibles.

Cool thing is you can blaze upstairs.  WAX, FLOWERS, HASH ...it's all good, pull a chair up at the bar.  The prices are extremely high and the medicine is not even tested to tell you THC, CBD or CBN ratings.  So your basically asking the hippie behind the bar which is best ( SKETCH ).    The guards are ASSHOLES until they get to know your face which is understandable.  After they know ya, YOUR GOLD BABY !

i like the staff for the most part. i have come in a couple of times and the staff was less than friendly. the flowers are top-notch and the prices are reasonable. i wish the hours were extended.

They got such dank og's here! The staff is ridiculously nice and they definitely know there shit. Did I mention there's air conditioning, 18 foot high vaulted ceilings, restrooms, flat screens and plush couches!

As far as I can tell, BEST dispensary in the greater LA area.  Incredibly friendly, knowledgable and helpful staff.  That is crucial and they deserve recognition for that.  Incredible products from herbs to edibles and more.  Lounge blew me away - even the customers in there gave me free samples of their own stuff and chatted it up with me.  Prices are reasonable/fair - incredibly extensive and super high-quality selection.  Little intimidating getting in the door the first time (not even a sign - just a doorbell, metal door and huge security guard) but once you're inside and legally verified in the office...all good!!!

Racist and unprofessional. The manager is a creep he hits on the customers.. They discriminate if you're not part of the LGBTQ Community. Their music is so loud you can't even hear the bud tender. Horrible experience. The manager tried to hit on me and offered me free weed for my phone number.

Have been going to this place for over 5 years as it's in my neighborhood. I keep going back for 2 reasons: the staff and their high quality weed.Marissa (super knowledgeable), is one of the bud tenders who always hooks me up with exactly what I am looking for. The weed is consistently a very high quality. Nice array of edibles too. The entire staff are always friendly, professional and helpful. And the best thing is their daily happy hour!

Phenomenal service and high quality, potent products! Love it here. Super safe environment, too. When I visited I noticed all of the staff was wearing their PPE properly (with gloves) and every 5 minutes someone was cleaning. I was there a while cus I needed help shopping!The woman that helped me, Ashley, was so kind! she really took the time to match me with exactly what I was looking for. She asked me all the right questions to help me determine how I wanted to feel and HEAL! lol Her and Rudy were able to share really valuable knowledge to help me better shop in the future. Without their guidance, I'd still be clueless! They made the perfect recommendations based on both my budget and needs. I am so grateful for their compassionate care.I will definitely be back! & I'll also tell all my friends! This place has excellent customer service and all their products are BOMB and mega potent. I've been coming here for years!!! I miss the old smoke bar area, and we all miss hanging out there. But even without the smoke bar, this place is still the spot. Des always hooks it up with bomb recommendations. Rudy and Martin have always been insightful and are willing to help anyone and everyone. They have cool specials everyday. And are always helping out the community. They get involved and help whenever they can. Nothing but peace and love here.

Very low quality flower and poor customer service. Their blue dream and jack herrer are  labeled improperly and being passed off as such, when they are mid grade flower. The security is also lacking here so beware of your Safety. I can't not in good conscious recommend this shop on any level. Hard pass.

Great spot if your in the area. My first visit was a great experience. I was treated like I had been there many times, very relaxing. The variety of fresh products is amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable. The bud tender Kayla recommended some great choices. I'm not into the CBD products but this spot has quite a selection. The flowers I was shown were fresh unlike some of the competitors in the area. I will definitely be back. So if you need quality products ,stop by.

I just have to say... once again this place freaking rocks. I went there this afternoon and I was greeted by Kayla who is by far the nicest worker there. All of them are great but Kayla really knows what she's talking about. She hooked me up with a new product I've never heard of and wow.... Let's just say this is why I'm JUST now writing this review. I went to the moon and just came back home.Love this place and like I always say, the prices may be a bit high but they take you higher
