What a disappointment. Long lines, overcrowding. Masks required to enter but no enforcement of 6 ft distance between patrons. In the shop there must have been 50 people including staff. Some staff not wearing mask, or wearing a mask but not covering their nose. Products looked good but the music was so loud I couldnt hear the budtender talk. Cash only, with two high fee ATMs on site.looked like they had great product but I loss patience with the overcrowding in store, poor customer service and very little care for covid safety. will not return.

This place unfortunately has very low quality marijuana in my experience. Their security is also very intimidating, which may be necessary due to all of the crime this place has brought to the western side of Melrose. They also don't care about Covid, packing people inside improperly wearing masks and not at all when in line.

Quality of bud and products are decent at best but the employees are absolute dicks. There were like 4 ladies standing in the Corner with the ipads and I asked if any of them could help me add to my order they ignored me but when they finally felt like working they were rude as hell. Spend your money somewhere else. Hella bad energy in that place

Hello fellow flower lovers~ just gonna let you all know, the staff are all super friendly and professional. The place is very clean. BUT I'm sad to say the flowers we got were dry and harvested over two months ago! Two months ago. Now if I were you, I'd go the extra mile and visit the Cookies in Maywood. It's a bigger location with a wider selection, not to mention a better bang for ya buck. I'm typing this as my boyfriend and I are leaving. This is what we got for $150. We feel saddened. This is our message to you.

The line was stretching around the corner but I did land on a Friday the wait still wasn't that long they was moving the crowd well security was tight and when I finally got to order a lot of the favorites I was looking for were gone I was able to grab some apple gelato cheetah piss and white runtz that were legendary some of the best stuff I smoked if I was in town I would definitely check back in here to see what's in stock

Not happy. My $55 eight was popcorn buds immature weed. Not fully grown. At least the employees are chill but cmon man stop ripping us off guys. Y'all have the best weed in the game. Allegedly...For the record. I'm not ok with buds. But I'm still down with Uncle Bern.

This place is alright. The weed was okay but more so of a tourist attraction full of out of towners from Alabama and other random states who are just here for the hype and IG pictures. It's shops throughout South central, mid town, the valley, and even malibu with the same if not better weed for way better prices. To be honest, you're just paying for the name brand "cookies." Real LA locals don't come here for weed! That should tell you something!!

If you were looking for a good dank that really really stank - this is the place to go they got the stinkiest stankiest dank in the world. You will walk into there and see they have a righty's but once you try their cookies you will be floating on cloud nine! And when you get into the line to enter the building you are assigned an associate that associate takes you to a kiosk where they have different samples of dank you cannot touch or smell the dank right now due to Covid you can only look at it. This is sort of hard because I want it to smell the different flavors and make my choices based on the smell but I could not do that this time. This place is not the cheapest when it comes to weed so make sure you bring your cash and credit card.Free parking is provided behind the building and parking is strictly enforced.

Do you want to catch Covid-19? Come to Cookies! This dispensary doesn't practice social distancing. I wish this place would go out of business, their product is terrible and over priced. Customers park in the residential neighborhoods and use products outside of the store, as well as openly on the streets. Total trash. Want to report them to the City of LA for Covid violations? I'm sorry but f**k this place and their "clientele". I live a block down the street from this place and I've never had a more discourteous neighbor. The security doesn't do s**t to discourage their patrons from parking in drive ways for hours , whoopin and hollerin until midnight and throwing trash everywhere. And if only it was worth all the trouble , I went when they first opened and their weed is schwag. So many better quality weed shops in LA that don't attract people that look like they'd pop a cap in my ass at first sight . Peace and love.

The budtenders are a lil pushy and impatient but other than that it's a pretty cool place. I like the vibes tho.

First and last time here. Poorly managed business. Waited in line for about 10 minutes, some people come up to  security and he lets them in without a line lolWhat is this a club?Originally sent my assistant to buy a specific pre-roll and spoke to bud-tender on the phone to make sure I get what I need. I understand this place is popular but it could be a little better managed.  Valet was nice but we paid to park our own car so not sure why we had to tip.. lol anyways waited outside the building for maybe 10 minutes and then we got inside and waited maybe 5 minutes to be seen by a bud tender that helped us find what we need.   She said it was her first day working the floor she did great! But The problem is that once we already had our order ready we waited maybe 30 minutes packed with a bunch of people.. not really keeping social distancing in mind here other than not touching the products.   Also its sooooo hot in here :/  they did have 20% off all products so I feel this place deserves 4 stars

What happened to this neighborhood, I mean is this still the Melrose Place/ave that we crew up with? Cookies is just terrible, I even tried their products, and there is nothing good about it and it's overprice. It just an insult for the business and the community.  If at least the product was insane then it may pass but this is just bad news.

This Store is Ok for the Hype You Would think it Would Be A lot Better. They Carry the Basic Brands a little Overpriced because of the Area. They Don't Carry Any of the Exotic Concentrates like GL420 Diamonds or 5Carat Diamonds like other Shops. Once they Get Products like that then it Would be a Great Shop Otherwise U Can Just Go to Another Store And Get the Same Products Cheaper!

Honestly a waste of time. Staff felt stuck up, I felt judged the entire time I was there and everything was over priced. The only good thing about this place was the merch store next door but unfortunately when you walk in you don't really get any help at all. We left without even being greeted, just stared at and then they continued their conversation...please don't listen to the tik tok and come to this place, it was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

Best Dispensary in LA- I have no idea why it has such a low rating! I've been a medical marijuana patient since pre-recreational and Hands Down Cookies is My Favorite Dispensary Yet! V the Manager rocks and not only cares about the quality of his product but the welfare of our community in West Hollywood- as one of TOO FEW stores to be owned by a non caucasian in this city as well- His staff, Becky, Victoria, Skylar, Gilbert, and Henry Oh and Noni and Sophie too!, just to name a few, Are Amazing and Friendly and informative! Fresh crop all the time and reasonable prices especially for the area. Ask questions if you don't know what you're doing,-There Are No Stupid Questions, Just Stupid Reviews!, If you're a neighbor, tell them, it's worth it. Cookies Forever!

Weed is great building looks nice over all pretty well. Only reason I won't give 5 starts is because the bud tenders are a joke. They have this stuck up attitude of " what do you want keep it moving " no personality at all our an effort to help us. I thought it was just my tender but when I was looking around EVERYONE had this sour ass attitude. Besides that everything was good.

Straight Trash! Stay away from any greenhouse or sungrown eighths if it isn't the season for them. I decided to try cookies cause of the hype I left disappointed. I ordered an eighth of lemonchello greenhouse on dutchie and I got a year old eighth. Come on dude if it's a year old at least warn us or discount it. It's brown and sadly I can't out get there as I live an hour away. The budtender should of also noticed it. The lady at the front was nice and the security guard was also nice. The cashier was high ass s***. be professional! y'all are cookies not a backalley shop.

Wow I wish I read reviews before I went there. Only reason I did is because weedmaps said they said the battery and cartridge I was looking for. They were WHACK! I thought they were cool but since I got there 7 minutes before they closed, they treated me just like someone who was annoying and came right before closing. I took an Uber all the way for Westwood to get to this place, again because it stated they had the MOXIE battery and the BLOOM cartridge. Mind you I called before and ASKED and they said YES. Oh did u mention they DIDNT have the bloom cartridge???ALSO, it was my first time there... ONLY PLACE I'VE ever heard that doesn't have a discount for first time customers. WHACK!!!!! Don't waste ur time or money. Mind you I walked out spending almost $100 and I don't even have a receipt. So u professional. And SO WHACK. Never again. Medmen all the way. Security guards made me very uncomfortable and harassed me. 0/10 if you're a woman do NOT come here they will harass you and make you feel violated!!

It was my first time at this location they have two cookies dispensaries in the LA area when you walk in you get checked by security then you go up to the front desk and give them your ID then they will make sure you have someone who is knowledgeable about there Cannabis to help you the rest of the way!!!I bought 3 strains which were project 4516 which is a hybrid with an indica dominate so it helps with pain medically and just helps you stay relaxed I also got another hybrid indica dominate which is also good with pain it's called London pound cake these are the top shelf bud which makes it a higher quality of bud I also made sure to get one of my favorite strains by cookies which is limon cello I absolutely recommend this strain it's a hybrid but sativas dominate so it helps with staying focused and also the flavor is great ! I also ordered 3 packs of gummy edibles the flavors were watermelon, blackberry and blueberry gummies were very tasty 100mg each!! The only thing I don't like is that there clothing shop is next door instead of inside with the other great products!!

Would give it zero if I could. Weed was stale/over-dry! Overpriced for the crappiest weed I've bought (I only buy top shelf). Had to smoke 3x the amount to even feel anything. Sadly, it was Recommended to me as the "best weed shop" around... should have read the reviews.

I bought 2 g and this is what I got barely even enough for one blunt these people do not actually sell the correct weight they probably use packaging when weighing to cheat their customers never go back to this place again!!!

This place does not practice social distancing in the middle of this pandemic... I called to speak to the manager and the lady who picked up the phone said "we're an essential business so we can do whatever we want." I said all essential business need to practice social distancing and she said "we just do what we're told and these people have all been waiting for a minute and it's a mess right now." Not to mention, several of the customers weren't wearing masks or holding their face with their hands... zero distancing or precautions here! absolutely astonishing. Please stay away... or risk getting COVID-19. Never going back!!

Worst knowledge of any people in town & the rudest I probably could go on and on but what's the point with all the dispensaries in town avoid this one it's like stealing from your pocket after they treat you like a piece of change.

Another overhyped and overpriced LA dispensary. You'd have to be a dumb ass to wait in line because it's owned by a 'rapper'. Excessive marketing, branding, packaging and all sorts of gimmicks. Go to basically any other dispensary and you'll find the same products for much less, but without the hype.

UPDATE as of 7/23/20: Things have only gotten worse. The ENTIRE street is filled with trash by night fall every night. This is LA I know, we have trash in our streets. But this is deliberate littering and disrespect 100%. I'm sick of seeing 100's on 100's bags of chick-Fila next to cars that are probably all rented or leased. People are driving these cars 80-90 mph through the melrose neighborhoods. Be careful walking your dogs or if your children are playing because legit they'll be run over FAST. Ever since this place has opened it really has disturbed the overall peace. There's no respect whatsoever. Its really got out of hand. I even tried to like this place after my first negative experience. No more. Come here to step on garbage. That's all it's good for. And to loiter for hours on end into the night. I tried to like you Cookies, but no. You'll be out of the neighborhood before you know it unfortunately. You had all the opportunities to do better, but no.

I was excited by how inviting this store was and how well decorated it is but unfortunately everyone who works at this location has no actual knowledge on the products. A man named Love was helping us and he was the worst. He had ZERO knowledge of any of the products. We asked multiple questions and he just responded with "baby, this one is good" okay first of all you should never call your customers "baby". And second, why do you know nothing about the products you're selling?It's also incredibly loud inside of the store so you can't hear shit

I dont smoke 420, Cigars are my thing..but every so often im asked to stop by this shop on my way somewhere else because this place's reputation is so renown that my friends have me pick up for them..I can tell you the service is top rate, prices are a bit high, place is immaculate

Anyone giving this place anything other than five star reviews doesn't have a clue about what makes a quality shop.  This is a curated boutique cannabis store, not a place you go for discounted quantity.  I appreciate the quality of the products here and the cool vibe of the store.  To anyone thinking about not coming here because of a bunch noobs who don't have the slightest clue what makes a good shop decided to exercise their right to be an opinionated boob and give it one or two stars, please don't listen to them.  This place is AMAZING!  Giving this place one or two stars is like being pissed that a Rolex costs 25 G's.  You gotta pay for quality hooooooooooomie...

Their products are over priced and below average and their return policy is poor. They sold me gummies which had gelatin in it and as a vegetarian I couldn't eat it. So I went there to return but they didn't take it back even when I had the receipt and the quantity was not tampered. P.S. this incident happened before COVID.

Wow!!! I'm in LA. I'm from Miami Florida came to LA for work, now my trip is coming to an end. It's ok though. I have some down time and decide I want to purchase some of California's best greenery. From the moment I walk in they are very helpful. They educate me to the different strains and explain how the pricing works. I purchased some flowers and gummies. My experience overall was amazing.

To be avoided at least during Covid crisis. Poorly managed line, only 1/3 of "guests" wearing masks, employees not wearing masks, standing close together. Only go if you want Covid.

I went here about a week ago, the service was terrible, nobody in there knows anything about weed or giving customer satisfaction. Idk homies name that works there but he was mad disrespectful and acted like he ain't even wanna show me around after I told him I was a first time patient. He just asked me how much money I had and basically that's all. The girls dressed like hoes and everybody seem like they on one or something. The atm charges ur card twice and you have to call to get it refunded. And you can't find anything decent for more than 60$ an eighth. If you know your bud then you know this place is a rip-off. No one should be payin that much for some kush. Cookies is just a tourist, name-brand bullshit company. Save your money and don't be fooled, there's plenty of other shops around. I was pretty hyped to go here but only disappointed when I left.

I remember driving to SF from LA once just to get an ounce of Gelato 41. I'm really happy they finally expanded to LA. Definitely connoisseur grade brand.

This company sells products that are mislabeled and when the issue is brought to their attention they say they aren't responsible for it. They are violating several business and ethics codes and are out for the money and not the customer. Buyers beware!

It's an okay place, you're not allowed to wonder off and "look" without a bud tender following you. The line was super super long the valet guy was to busy flirting instead of making sure you're parking correctly. For the most part I got higher than a mfer. I'd recommend this place but it needs some improvements .

Runts from here is no joke definitely have other options but that was my favorite, many options in everything honestly I do recommend both locations and the one on Melrose has a nice little clothing store next store if you want to take any items back home if you're visiting.

Fuck this place, I got kicked out of the line to go in because my boyfriend dropped me off in front, which is where I always get dropped off but it's apparently against a new rule and We didn't see the new signs. I wish I would've been told vs being embarrassed and picked out of the line by your new security guard who said" sorry girl your boyfriend just fucked this up for you, you need to leave." I will never come back to this place, the way you treat a regular customer that doesn't know your new rules is completely unnecessary and uncalled for.

She seems annoyed and rushed to be working she seems annoyed by her peers and costumers in the store.. seriously should reconsider replacing the NOT FRIENDLY/IRRITATED girl from helping or even checking in costumers. My sexperience here was awesome!!!!! Elia helped me very quickly and knew exactly what I needed shorty after we talked. She's super cool!!!!! This place kicks the shit out of med men. People are much more knowledgeable and the energy is great. Everyone is so friendly. This is my new weed home now.

Not a fan. Garish branding, colored obnoxious baby blue. Looks like a daycare for the marijuana addled. And that's the way most of its staff, from security to retail, present themselves - under the influence and oblivious.Product is standard recreational marijuana, the kind that can be found in any store across LA these days. As I mentioned before, the staff is absent-minded but courteous. Not particularly helpful but amicable at least.Selection (bud and gear) is thin - compared to MedMen this place is sparse and feels like its conducting a going out of business sale at regular prices.Worst part of Cookies: the childish branding has attracted immature clientele. Both times I shopped this store I felt like I was at a high school hangout with kids just out of detention.Too many other stores in West Hollywood/LA with better staff, wider selection and sensible marketing to waste time here.

All you have to do is drive past this establishment .  The effects that this business has on its neighboring residence are quite disturbing.  Apparently the owner is only out for $.  The company had brought in armed private security because of the violence and rule breaking that the patrons demonstrate.  Littering, loitering, loud music, illegal parking, j walking, they do not practice social distancing (go to their Instagram live to see for yourself). The local sheriffs, and weho parking authority are well aware of this situation.  The local authorities and residents are fed up with this establishment.  Their are rumors of the owner paying large sums of $ to next door residents to keep them happy.  The hoards of people lingering outside during this pandemic is complete asinine.  People around the neighborhood do not feel comfortable in their own homes.  There is no exaggeration going on in this post.  How is there no repercussions for the obvious lack of care for the community The property and businesses Around are losing money/moving away.

Great selection of strains but watch out for the hidden transaction fee's when you use a debit card on top of the 20% tax they charge great selection of weed but atmosphere of greeting employees are snobby LA transplants, at least the security were polite and cordial

This place is Med Men with blue color tones. Same displays, same overpriced flowers, loud shitty mumble rap playing, they charge tax, and you're not allowed to wander without your salesperson or group. Don't waste your time with this place.

They don't announce that they are recording your image and no where does it state they are conducting this activity. I will NEVER be coming back as there dozens of shops with better pricing and more friendly customer service. Buyer beware!!

Bob who rung me up was great. My budtender was horrible. When I walked in, all the budtenders were huddled up talking about Vegas and paying the customers no mind. I asked the budtender helping me for cbd dominant items and she said they didn't offer any. But once I got to the cashier bob started showing me all these products that fit into the category of what I was looking for. probably would never come back, so much hype.

4 stars only because of price, I'm from Florida & paid more for an eighth of Marathon OG from cookies than I did from my boy who gets shipments from cure company. Smoked exactly like I remembered, just PR through me off. People who work there were ok.

Welcome To LA Cookies :) Great location and pretty nice store although I thought you could of came up with a better design. There is a lot of wasted space and the display boxes (and the bud inside of them) is less inviting. The pharmacy style counter with all the product in the back of the representative standing now is a bit far and hard to see and always need assistance just to see a product not even to touch it because it's a little too far for the eye and overloaded which makes it hard to focus on specific products. Too much is just too much sometimes. And the most important part, You guys are way overpriced product is not that great to be at that price $74 for an eight is a little ridiculous of coarse includes tax but still you're starting high and get ending up even higher, you are taking the joy out of the process, $74 1/8 ouch. Honestly, my experience and feeling was only three stars, but since I'm posting your 1st review I'll boost it up to four but I'm expecting an improvement next time I come visit. Good Luck'

I love Cookies! Much less crowded than the other boutique cannabis stores. The set up is very clean and organized layout. I took my aunt to get items for her arthritis and sleeping issues and it was so nice to have someone assigned to guide our experience. She left feeling taken care of and knowledgeable about the products. The less of the crowd makes for a better experience since there is less waiting and more people available to assist with any questions. The variety and pricing is extremely comparable with the other competitive stores as well. I will take this over having iPads to assist me anyday!

I am not happy I was over charged. My receipt doesn't add up. Cookies over tax there products. Please check out different stores that have the same products $10 to $20 cheaper. Hip Hop meets trendy sassy weed joint is what this bright beacon is on Melrose. The cars are loud and the crowds seem dangerous. If this is your scene you may just need to be seen here.Security here is vigilant with a 9mm strapped to their belts, but they don't enforce any real social distancing when it gets busy. Of course, many who come here may not even care.If your brand of weed or edibles must include a flashy retail bag to show off with your LV, this is the place for you!

Personally I can't believe this business is actually  still being run in our neighborhood I went in the store when it opened and the bud tenders were children with sub par knowledge. Uneducated in weed.  What's more disturbing is to what had happened to the neighborhood we have called home for the last 10 years. In our neighborhood you were required to have a parking permit to park on the street between 7 AM and 7 PM. Because of the masses of people and the disrespect to our neighborhood you are now required to have a permit 24 hours a day in this neighborhood which was never before. The business had also had to hire private security and guards that go around our neighborhood all day long to enforce what the police were not capable of catching when they're not there. Circling the streets in sigh or hood all day is in settling   Rachel Zoe and all the adjoining stores have all left due to mass amount of people brought into our neighborhood , who don't live here. How many times am I to see someone pissing in the area where our garbage dumpster is , holding a cookies package under their arm Or have to walk by men strapped w guns to walk my grandmother in a wheelchair chair w her dog They have also brought in people to clean up the neighborhood by picking up trash. Unfortunately one of these women also brings her dogs to work and last week crapped on the grass and I saw her not pick that up. There are hundreds of marijuana stores in Los Angeles, and several within walking distance of this store. GO THERE INSTEAD. My favorite is the Artist Tree. Anyways, this location is notoriously bad. The line sometimes wraps around the block, the security guards are idiots, and parking is a pain.

The staff is rude. It was such an uncomfortable first time. No one directed me or anything. The employee was sarcastic and kept raising her voice and made rude comments. The flower selection is nice but I don't think I would ever come back.

I would look online before entering to get an idea of what you want. I looked online and it made everything smooth when I got inside, because it can be overwhelming.

Honestly this place is here to Rob people don't even waste ur time going in quality but definitely not happy with spending 110 an 8th when literally it should be half that what has the market come down to this place will definitely give you quality over quantity but when has tobacco ever cost 50 bucks a pack or more they definitely take pride in the prices and taking kids money I been smoking since 2007 from gods gift to the original sour diesel still never paid 60+ honestly walk in enjoy the flower but don't buy anything

Not sure why all the negative reviews, but my experience was amazing!! Came here on a Saturday morning, first time visit for me. There was no line and walked right in. Was greeted by the dopest budtender, wish I would've got her name, but she deserves recognition cause she pretty much was able to answer every question my boyfriend and I had regarding the pre rolls, flower and pricing. People are complaining about the pricing but your literally paying for the strain, the quality, the consistency, the freshness, the flavor, as well as the brand itself "Cookies". Not sure what else they expected. Overall I had a good experience and everyone seemed nice and helpful.

It was very busy but they were extremely quick with getting people what they wanted and out the door! It was a great experience and the bud tenders were very knowledgeable about all the products they carry! Def will be back

Go here. A friend recommended this spot while I was in town for an event, and I see why. Great variety in the selection, knowledgeable employees, clean presentation, exceptional customer service. Unfortunately, the failed to pack one of my items on my first visit, but with my receipt, the manager included it with my subsequent purchase on 2nd visit. Good stuff.
