Nothing but the bullshit, they bringing on the bullshit. Honestly. First chance:  Called to ask if they had Cannavis syrup in stock since MMD in Hollywood and North Hollywood usually have everything always.  The person who had picked up my phone call to answer had me on hold a while, which doesn't bother me. She came back to the phone, having been super sweet and friendly and said they did. "yep, mhmn.".  I went there and they had no clue what the fcuk I was talking about. Second try:  I went there for something they said they had on their weedmaps page menu and their website. I called to check and only North Hollywood always picks up the phone at all times- it doesn't mean they are not there and open, but much of the time Hollywood especially does not pick up the phone. So instead I got two pre-rolls. They both sucked and they were recommended. So, I think they suck.

Pretty good, the manager is really nice. Got a wrong order and she hooked it up. This is my go to, MMD is very good value, they do not overcharge compared to some other Venice/MDR dispos. Good selection

OMG! I haven't been into a store in forever. I decided to walk in and was so glad I did. The budtenders are kind and actually listen to you. I've been smoking for years and still learned something from them, as well. Thank you so much for this experience. I will be back ASAP!

Oh am I ever glad I trusted my intuition and dropped in on MMD today! I've had my eye on them for a while now, starting when they posted their Coming Soon sign when renovations for their space began a few years ago. The folks at the front desk are enthusiastic and so welcoming. They had me registered as a new customer, and hooked up with a discount card for my first 5 visits (nice welcome!) in no time. I was invited into the back by the actual person who'd be helping me one-to-one. Already a big improvement over where I'd been before out the gate.MMD has a good selection of whatever you're looking for ~ from flower to edibles to vape. After looking around at different dispensaries from West Los Angeles to the beach and then dropping into MMD on a whim, I was very surprised that they had EXACTLY what I was looking for ~ distributors/brands and all ~ at lower prices than I've seen these items anywhere else. Sold!Easy parking. Just easy, breezy from the moment I walked in to when I left. And, AND .... on top of the discount card I was given as a new customer, I receive text notifications of specials of the day. This place has got it going on. Very happy I found MMD. If you live in the area or nearby, check them out. You won't be sorry.

So I went in for my first time not that long ago, got helped by Chris. My boy had amazing suggestions and was very up front with me about how certain brands were more choice bc of things like hydro packs. Their concentrate is straight bananas it is a little more pricey but it's not bad it's def manageable and I'll tell you the concentrate is definitely worth what it cost. The staff was amazing  even though I was giving off new person vibes. All in all I'm straight up gunna give them all my money and I'm not even mad about it hahaha

Nice dispensary. Front counter check in workers very nice, friendly and accommodating. Fast service. Online order was ready in 10 mins. Order 4 times over the course of 9 days. They give you a punch card you first visit for 10% off, 2nd visit 20% off, 3rd visit 30% off and 4th visit b1 g1 1/2 off. So we got some great deals. Definitely will return next time in LA.

I was very surprise to read the reviews after going there because I had the opposite experience. I went there after work pretty much at 9,45 (they close at 10pm) however they were super nice. Dany the girl who was attending me was awesome, I told her my concerns with some weed and effects on me and she recomended me a couple of prerolls and also flower. I ended buying all her recomendations because as a first timer there, I was getting a 20% discount.And happy to say her recomendations were, so far, what I was looking for.Daniel at the reception also very nice. (I remember their names because they are Dany and Daniel XD) Ill be going back for sure!

Luke is the best Bud Tender. Super nice. Knowledgeable, upfront and helped a ton. Unfortunately they didn't have the brand I wanted....the farmer and the felon. Hope they get in again soon.

Thought I'd give it a try, since I'm new to this type of stuff (mariguana). I actually ordered through the website to have it delivered, and it was very quick and easy. Very impressed with the professional service they provided.  Definitely recommend this place to anyone! Specially if you don't want to get out your home. Warning!!!They take no responsibility for the flower they sell! If it has mold or bugs they will just apologize and tell you no refunds. They sold me moldy bud and said there's nothing I can do. Recommend going to a place with a better refund policy.

I love this place! The staff is super helpful and engaging. I was immediately given a tour of the dispensary which was very helpful because I find a lot of dispensary displays to be a bit overwhelming. I will definitely come back!

The staff here often aren't wearing masks or aren't wearing them properly.  They don't seem to be taking this pandemic seriously.Decent, yet slightly overpriced product, however I wouldn't recommend coming here if you enjoy not dying.

worst customer service ever. was charged $180 for an ounce of top shelf flower and instead received the worst tree i've probably ever smoked. we called and we were told over the phone that we would receive a discount or credit if we came back in. we drove back and explained the situation once again and because they refused us and all we received were snide snarky remarks...we asked to speak to a manager. INSTEAD they had security try to remove us from the premises. we refused to leave without being given what we were told over the phone and they called the police! like what world are we in? this business is a SCAM. will NEVER be shopping here again!p.s.i've had amazing experiences with lowell farms because their customer support is awesome and they ACTUALLY RESPECT THEIR CLIENTELE. so make the right choice

tl;dr: THIS SHOP DOES NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS.MMD only accepts DEBIT cards, or as they'll tell you, "any card where you need to enter a PIN."Staff is really friendly here, and the selection looks great. I wish I could have bought something, but unfortunately I didn't have a "PIN credit card".MMD, please stop advertising that you accept credit cards. You don't, and it caused me to take my business elsewhere after going out of my way to visit you specifically because you claim to do so.

This place is over priced and often has a line. They give you a discount card when you come in for the first 4 times but that saves you max 25%. I only came to use my discount card and couldn't use it on the final day because the server said "this is a business and i can't give you the expensive one for cheaper". Won't catch me coming back.

Love MMD! Go there almost every week and they have great prices and options especially for carts. Shout out to my fave bud-tender christian!

This company is SH*T. Every time I would go up until two weeks ago they would overcharge me. I watched the cashier EVERY TIME I went she would add $5, $3, some random amount to the total. When I asked them why "it's a card fee". So okay that's fine. I went to this location about a week ago and the cashier gave me back $5 in cash for my purchase I said "what's this for"? She said it's my cash back from the card fee. These people would take my cash and put it in their tip jar every time. I bought $35 worth today and spent $45. I got $5 back in cash. Being someone who lives paycheck to paycheck and suffers from anxiety this is NOT something I want to put up with after work. There was only ONE cashier out of all locations who was honest and kind to me. If you know who you are please leave a comment with your name so I can give you a shout out. All the rest of y'all can suck it.

This place is overall professional and knows about all their products. Very educational and willing to guide you as first time or novice users. My friend was a pro and he found what he wanted in a second but I appreciated the patience their "budtenders" had with me. Would definitely go back!Also parking is easy.

After going to MMD Long Beach a few weeks ago, I was excited to see a new location open up in Marina Del Rey.  I really love the vibes of this new MMD store. The exterior and the interior of this store are beautiful! Everybody in the store was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable just like in Long Beach.This store is closer to me and is also right across the street from Costco and In & Out! You know who loves In & Out ... I love In & Out!!!Thank you MMD for coming to the neighborhood!

I would never shop here again. Their managers suck and they ripped me off twice with their silly Lowell vape pens. Screw you MDR it's all about Sherbinskis, MDR is a total tight wad when it comes to righting their wrongs and offer NO warranty at all in their products. I called my credit card company and disputed the $140 of FRAUDULENT charges and everyone else should too. Terrible businesses don't deserve to stay in business, sorry!

The product has always been good. The front desk customer service is TERRIBLE. The guy tonight was the worst. The security guy was helpful but the guy actually checking people in wasn't polite at all.

This place has such terrible customer service at the desk out front. The guys act stoned.  I told my husband not to go there after I was left sitting out in the lobby.  They are disorganized and let people go in out of order. He went there anyway because it is so conveniently located. And they made him wait in line twice for something that was their fault.  With so many great dispensaries around, why not spend your money somewhere where you feel appreciated?

Wow, best experience I've ever had at a dispensery hands down. Everyone who works there is so friendly, the inventory is top notch and the place is so clean and nice. Angela helped me pick out some goodies that were perfect for me when I came in not knowing exactly what I wanted. She was so knowledgeable about every item I asked about which was wild considering how vast their selection is. I ended up buying several things thanks to her guidance and cannot wait to go back. Wanted to find out what they had in stock because website and actual inventory NEVER match. Guy who answered the phone had no idea what they had in stock. Told me to call back in a few minutes. Called back and asked what an OZ of Pacific Stone would be including tax and everything, answered me with attitude, "I can't calculate taxes and everything off the top of my head".  Do you NOT sell this stuff all day? They have literally everything. I went in for vet cbd for my dog and came out with a couple of 8ths also. They have affordable weed to top shelf so I appreciated the fact that I was able to get any flower I felt like getting. 5 stars for customer service, 5 stars for variety and the store was VERY organized which my ocd side loved. Overall this place is affordable and willing to look through products that suit you as a person.

When I asked the associate who was helping us if he was familiar with this and that, he said that he'd only been there a little over a month, so he was honest from the start and didn't try to push anything. This shop provides a Variety of products and brands, you don't feel rushed to make your purchases and the staff is friendly, welcoming and makes you feel appreciated.I'd love to work here would I be looking for employment!I love the staff: knowledgeable and when they're not as experienced they know not to pretend. Honest, humble, understanding and happy. There is no drawback to report, you can order pickup or delivery. My prime time for least busy hours? Sundays before noon when people are still asleep .The website shop needs user friendliness upgrading: the preview of the items don't show the strain names, and you can't scroll efficiently one after one. Stopped by I was looking for a specific type of flower, along with CBD products. As soon as I walk in, I was greeted with a warm smile from Carina. Not only was she the nicest person but provided the most incredible customer service! She was very informative, she had an exquisite skill for paying attention to detail on the type of flower I was looking for, and executed with directing me to the perfect products I was looking for! First of all this comment is for customer service and not about quality. I love this store and come here all the time because I like to come to one store and get same stuff. I am coming to this store for a year and half. As per guard they allow people in store till 9:50pm and I was 1 minute late and they didn't let me in even though there was already 1 person waiting in lobby. I told them I come here all the time and I don't have enough time to go to other store but person at reception totally ignored me. I am not blaming any individual  but seriously 1 min late.There are lot of good stores in area and  as I said I always go to 1 store so I already found another store in the area. Thank you!!!

I've been going here with my boyfriend consistently for a few months and I've always had great helpful budtenders but today this guy helping us out was very rude. He had longer black hair and thick eyebrows and was condescending and unhelpful when we were asking some questions. I was trying to use my first time patient offer bc I had never bought anything before but he just made it really difficult like I was trying to pry answers and he took my discount stamp card and threw it away and didn't give me a new one when he said he would and didn't stamp anything either. I felt really disrespected the whole interaction when I was trying to ask questions he just seemed really faded and distracted. I've always had nice interactions here so I would try it again with any other budtender besides that one.

First visit. Staff was pleasant. Max was very knowledgable about products. Will be coming back.

Avoid this dispensary unless you want frustration. I ordered product, and received a confirmation. Then I received a text that my order had been picked up. So I called and they confirmed that my order had not been picked up and was waiting for me. But when I drove over there, they couldn't find my order. When they asked what I ordered, they said they don't even carry what they accepted my order for. Incompetent idiots. Perhaps they spend too much time sampling the merchandise. I will NEVER order from these morons again.

First just had to write a review for my delivery driver Elder. He was so nice when I had some weird problem with my ATM card. He was incredibly helpful and patient 5 stars for him. Second, I also love this place. Everyone who works they're has always been so nice, from the time I left my card there and called to let me know I , switched from pickup to delivery when I made the mistake online AND they have a very cool punch card that gives you awesome deals as a first time client! Make this your new weed spot, i came here and never looked back!

This company just started a new client discount program where a new client gets 10% off then 20% off their second visit 30% off their third and so on and so forth , but they just started that program so the existing clients get nothing, no discount ever. We get reward points for each dollar we spend but the new clients get those reward points also, so I have a hard time getting on board with a company who doesn't reward their existing good clients . That's stinking thinking pot shop ! Reward your loyal people ! So needless to say I will be taking my loyal business elsewhere ! And so will my friend . Business model failure alert lol

Update:I have been back to MMD on three more occasions, and all went well. I ordered online and my orders were ready when I arrived. Each person who provided service was friendly, knowledgeable, and timely. I will continue to shop with MMD. I think they have one of the more varied, quality product lines in the area.

I've heard really good things about MMD and I was very excited to pay a visit. I arrived and was greeted by Michael. This man smelled like alcohol even though I was wearing a mask I could smell it all and he seemed really spacey. After he handed me over to someone else I could see him just kind of messing around. The other budtender was great and very helpful. It just made me uneasy because I'm here to treat medical symptoms and if the people working here can't take their job seriously, how do I trust your recommendations?"

Love the dispensary. It's one of the few that give points back and as often as I come that's nice. It's not even near my house but I make a point of stopping by 3 times a week. The place is always pretty crowded. That shows how popular it is. But lines usually move fast and everyone is really nice. Starting with the security in front. Also, thanks to budtender Connor (Collin?) I came i n needing to buy something for my neck and back pain after seeing a chiropractor for the first time. He recommended something new Ratios that I had not heard of but really new his stuff about pain and what would work. Tried it that evening and love it. Better recommendation than my doctor!

This place is amazing, the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. They have lots of patience when it come to people that are from out of state because I am one of them! LolIn all honesty, I have a great experience. I didn't have to wait very long. It's not a store where everyone goes in and buys like a 7/11. They have a waiting area and let a few people in at a time. I waited like 10mins and they buzz you in.Once inside, your directed to a sales person that knows the products. My sales person was very helpful and recommended a few sections based on cost and potency. I would come back here because of the employees. Definitely a place worth checking out.

Convenient Hollywood location that offers delivery and pickup. So many great  products here that help with anxiety, sleep and stress management. I am a big fan of the gummies I purchased here recently which were a good balance of TCH and CBD. Perfect for a good night's sleep. Their cannabis strains are plentiful and the service is quick and helpful when answering questions, helping you find something to fit your needs.

3rd time I wait for 30 minim lobby  for online pick up it took time to fill my info online already which online doesn't even save my info told manager about this walked out no discount or anything to show for this very upsetting

This is our usual go to dispo since it's really close to  us in Hollywood. The staff is hit or miss, sometimes really helpful with suggestions and other times they just don't really care about the service they're giving you. Never usually a wait time, and we typically don't spend more than 20 minutes here. They have a good variety of items and I appreciate how well kept the space is. There are other dispensaries I'd like to try but come back to this one mainly for the convenience of location. Parking is hard to find, I recommend checking the side streets nearby. It's in a pretty busy location with high tourist traffic.

They need to stop selling overpriced old weed check the dates unless you ask what's fresh they will sell you anything

As an investor in Level I wanted to see what they had for sale here (since they are limited to, at the moment, three high volume items via Eaze). I was glad to see a pretty big selection here and walked out with one that was new to even me: MORNING TABLINGUAL, A nonexistent high formulated to help balance your ECS and start your day off right. Yes, you can actually get things at these places that will make you perform better in life.Anyway, the entire dispensary experience was new to me. Going into the front door you have entered the bizarro world for retail. It might be legal but it still feels weird. There is a person behind a glass panel that checks your ID and buzzes you through a door. The door leads downstairs to an extensive shop that would be overwhelming for anyone not knowing what they are looking for.When you find what you want it is cash or debit card only. I forgot about the generally difficult place cannabis fits within state laws and national banking institutions. Ugh -- there went all of the cash I brought with me and I had to put an item back at that. The minor embarrassment made me feel younger than I am.When you leave you go through the receipt check process like a BJs or Costco but with two intimidating security guards instead of minimum wage greeters. (Look, forgive me on the on wage comment -- I have no idea what they pay those people but I am sure it is actually pretty good)From the "patient" initials on the receipt to the entire experience described above. This isn't CVS. HOWEVER, it is not all about Willie Nelson weed either. If you can get better performance or otherwise get a prescription vial out of your house it is worth all of the above and more.

The staff working at the front reception are extremely rude, unprofessional, and condescending. I stopped in at 7pm with my doctor recommendation at the ready, along with my medical ID, and passport. "I need your California ID." I explained that I do not have a California specific ID, despite being a resident for over 3 years. To get my doctor recommendation, I had to provide a copy of my lease and several utility bills. It seemed redundant to me that MMD needs the same documentation required to get a recommendation in the first place. I offered to show her these documents, and she insisted "No, that won't work. You need a California ID." I was dumbfounded at this logic. The woman at the front desk summoned her manager, an aggressively rude overweight dude."Get an ID. It's called responsibility.", he said, sneering at me. I am not sure why I didn't walk out right then, after being spoken to like a child, as they let a tweaked out homeless man reeking of urine down into the dispensary. But, seconds later, they decided I was legit and let me in.Terrible reception experience aside, this dispensary itself is amazing. Clean, spacious, well-lit, and modern. Excellent selection of flowers, and the best variety of vegan edibles I have ever seen in one place. The bud tenders, especially the pretty lady with red hair, were lovely-friendly, knowledgeable, and nice to talk to. Despite my great experience in the actual dispensary, I will more than likely not come back here.

Yes I am aware there's a pandemic and motor vehicles has allowed expired IDs at this current time. The usual pot store I go to has no problem, apparently the bitchy little person at the desk this morning does. No need to spend any money in a DUMP LIKE THIS. Also maybe have security outside so we are not harassed by people begging as we enter instead of lounging on chair inside out of wind.

This place is AWFUL! They want to charge 30% tax on your debit card and give you cash back, they are extremely aggressive . There is no first time customer reward or discount unless you have a med card . I got anxiety going in that place. They kept trying to push other brands when I told them I only want King Pen about 4 times, a brand ambassador came very closeTo me..cold sore in plain sight and kept pressing about her offers when I kindly declined several times. Never going back and never buying anything here ! Total scam

RONNIE THE MANAGER IS THE MOST BIAS AGGRESSIVE PERWON YOU WILL EVER COME ACROSS. I've been going to this dispensary for about five years. Never once have I had a problem. while waiting in line I'm having a conversation with these women about wearing masks and this man decides to interject tells me to shut up and a hush. I have my first amendment right have every right to stick up for myself and all of a sudden Ronnie the loser wanna be manager can't manage anything so he decides to come up and directly look at me as if I'm the problem. All the while the man next me is hushing me! I will not let this go not only do they have the worst crappy cannabis in ALL OF LOS ANGLES IT IS EXPENSIVE AND THE worst service minus Angel and Bam. This is my home shop. I've been going here for about 2 years or so. I am always impressed with the service, product and location and in general I highly recommend this chain of shops. I went in today and really need extra help and patience as I must now switch to edibles exclusively. Just tried their pick up service and it couldn't have been easier. Seriously the best dispensary I've experienced since cannabis became legal.  The staff is amazing and very helpful. I've never been steered wrong. I've also seen the owner react to difficult situations while I'm waiting my turn and he and security have always acted in a professional and caring manner. They come from a place of love.Great job everybody!

The childs who work here (they're hardly 21) are abosuletly incompetent. They're unable to answer questions, their knowledge of cannabis and generally they're own products inexistent.I waited in line 5 minutes to deal with the most inept staff of children working behind a marijuana dispensary. The selection of products is very limited and online products that are shown to be sold there they're really not. And they have no idea about the products that are going to be arriving or products that are sold out.DON'T GO HERE!

It can be the wild wild west out there in cannabis so I am cautious. But this place really cares about safety and experience. They took the time to hear my issues, took me around the whole store because I am still new to this stuff. We settled on the Curepod vape which I am very happy with. And the check out was easy, received a first timer discount and had me out the door feeling amped. Great vibes!

This was the first dispensary I've ever gone into and wow! I was thoroughly impressed by the layout, architecture and service! They sell both recreational and medical products. It is very clean and well organized. They have gluten free products and vegan products which is awesome. They also sell formula concoctions (which I think of as cocktails) that contain specific concentrations of elements other than the two most popular chemicals for specific effects such as calming for anxiety, recovery from exercises or minor pain, sleep, even sex. Products look appealing with cute packaging. Also many products are clear about dosages, 1 gummy is equal to this or a 5 second inhale on a vape delivers this much. Products are pricey because LA has a 10% tax and CA has a 10% tax as well.

Placed a delivery order yesterday.  Called to confirm.  Lady said it would be about an hour.  Delivery never came, and no word from MMD. Went to them because of their giant billboard.  Guess it was a bad sign.

Pros: fast registration process, very friendly hostess.I was quickly sent "downstairs" to get my products.Clean place.Cons: I asked for edibles I could take with me to an outdoor (private) concert venue. I was recommended the gummies by the staff.I was 101°F outside and eventually the gummies melted making it impossible for me to dose properly according to my prescription and impossible to open the container once temperatures cooled off.Everything went to waste.Gummies costed me $22. This place is pricey and the staff gives bad advices. Not recommended.

Besides Jesus who occasionally works desk, a few awesome employees like Juliette, and all the security guards! I never got their names but really kind- unfortunately you won't save any money here and you will be treated poorly as a customer(to date I have spend $798.77 (within 3 months of moving nearby and hoping this would be my new dispensary), not by staff or security in my experience. Sadly you will be treated like a piece of shit by the manager Dani who walks around like she's more than the manager of a weed shop, so nasty. bad dispensary, the manager is an a@@hole and extremely rude and the weed is overpriced and mediocre at best.plus often very long wait times.i will not ever go back there, there are a couple thousand better dispensaries in los angeles, don't waste your time, energy and money on this one.

I like that MMD is close enough to Hollywood Blvd to be convenient, yet not on it, so that it's s not jam packed with people. It's easily noticeable from road. Very clean and professional. From the time we checked in to being called was less than a 3 min wait. Our Bud-tender was nice and we were helped right away. My only issue? We let him know that we needed edibles for our show and that we'd be outside in the heat. He recommended a small 20 piece tin of 5mg gummies, which we took. Unfortunately this was NOT a good choice because by the time we made it to the show, our $22 gummies were liquid sugar. Impossible to estimate dosage and impossible to open once the sugar hardened and sealed the tin shut. When I think of gummy candy, I think more along the lines of gummy bears, etc. these were more like soft fruit chews that wouldn't hold up in any temperature above 90 degrees. Total bummer....

MMD was the first dispensary I went to, and it was obvious I didn't know exactly what I wanted. I wanted to buy a PAX, which I knew going in would be about a $60-$70 endeavor. I was told there that I was incorrect about the price of my PAX and they sold me a battery for $60, double the price. I thought they were right, so I bought it and ended up paying over $100 for the battery plus a pod. After researching, I found that even on Eazee, a marijuana delivery service, they only charged $30 for a battery and same with many other places. I feel taken advantage of and wish I had a better first experience! On the positive side, the product is good and within walking distance from the Hollywood strip.

It's an okay place , just really dislike all the extra charges if you use card.. my $80 pen ended up being $105 after tax, (round up rule the use), one $2.50 charge for using debit on their end, and another $2.50 on my banks end for using "NON ATM withdrawal". It seems  that their credit card machine acts more like an ATM machine rather than a POS machine. Wouldn't go back

Just stopped by a second ago to pick up some CBD. Nice selection. Fair prices. I was helped out by an awesome woman with a great attitude and knowledge of the products they sell. My receipt says Evgenia M. so I assume that was her name. Will be back!

Always hit this place up when I'm in Hollywood. They do an amazing job and the staff is super nice and knowledgeable. If you go during busy times and the line is long, you have a newbie/first timer in front of you, it could take a minute. They have a great selection and it's a quick in and out if/when you go back. Horrible dispensary, disgusting manager.Total rip-off, overpriced, long wait times, limited choice of product, security guards with guns to intimidate you, it's a God awful place!The manager is dishonest and sells faulty products, then refuses to take any responsibility for the crap he is selling.  He actually said to me:  I am just selling this, I am selling sealed products, if they are faulty it's not my problem, go to the manufacturer.  Really?  I think not.Don't go to this place, there are so many really good dispensaries in Los Angeles, don't support the worst one of them all, don't give them business, go shop elsewhere you'll be glad you did.Good news is, just a minute up the street, also on Cahuenga just north of Franklin at 1944 N Cahuenga is another dispensary called The Kind Center and it is much, much better than this rip-off.  There you will get much better, quicker, more informed and friendlier service, better prices, shorter wait times, more choice of products and most of all, really nice people and NO security guard treating you like a bank robber.I am so glad I left the a-holes from MMD in the dust and am now shopping at a much better store.Too bad though that I had to give MMD a star to rate them, they don't deserve a single star, that's how bad this shop is compared to other ones in the area.advice: STAY AWAY!MMD Shops is at a good location, that is the only true positive about it though.I have nothing against the employees who work there, they're just young kids trying to make a living, and they're nice enough albeit they know nothing about cannabis and cannabis related products, nothing.  Don't bother asking a question, you will not get a competent answer in this store.It's the people who run this place I do not like.It matters how you run a place because it trickles down, starting with the security guards' ridiculous postering, checking your bag against your receipt as you leave even though they watched the sales person put the product into the bag behind a wall of glass, at no point during shopping there do you have access to product, yet when you leave the security guard needs to check your bag and receipt treating you like a thief for good measure. I've been here maybe 4 times now. Every time seems better than the last.  I usually buy the same things. Vape & edibles. I had a couple of questions today and Justine who helped me was fantastic. No BS approach to helping me find what I need.  Don't know the name of the girl who greets on the way in and checks ID but she's great too!  Security is friendly too!  I hope this business continues to grow and they take care of good staff when they hire them!  The sky SHOULD be the limit for what is possible with this business!!  Looking forward to going back again.

I would recommend this place we are from out of state an were looking for a place that had good reviews as you can see the other reviews are great as well we had a great experience with all the staff are budtender was very helpful took his time helping us without making us feel rushed. If your from out of country you will need a passport but if your from the United States state id will work.

The staff is friendly, the product is ok, the BIG DRAWBACK is that you get CHARGED $3.75 to use your DEBIT CARD!!! WTF, really! I wanted to try out a couple of different types of Cannobis, each costing around $11 a gram, and then they run my debit card, DON'T mention it's  $3.75 for me to use my Debit , and then 20% tax, which means the FEE to use my Debit along with the TAX was actually more expensive than the weed!! Shame on them!! I felt completely taken advantage of. I would  likely NOT  go back.  I actually think charging that amount to use my debit is not legal!! ( by the way, the girl told me that is what they pay per customer to the debit and Credit Card companies, which I know is an outright lie , especially since I own my own business and know that is NOT true!! I Think in good faith to other consumers, I will have to mention this business practice to BBB .

Omg! Our tour guide brought us here because I asked about the best dispensary in the area. The gummies were amazing! I had one and my husband had two. He said two was too much. I had the perfect buzz with one. We had an amazing night after ingesting these. We went back the next day and got more gummies, other candy, and some weed. I can't wait to go back when I'm in Cali!

Lol the people who are giving MMD lower than 3 stars must be new to using weed. Any legal dispensary is kind of expensive. While most delivery services are cheaper, their products aren't nearly as good. Credit to MMD for having a pretty decent range of products in terms of price and quality. Go to Cookies, Jungle Boys, MedMen etc. you will be paying more. Granted it's super fire weed but it's 80 bucks for 1/8 too. MMD is a good dispensary for the general weed user. And not even trying to hate but to be devil's advocate, of course a vaporizer is going to be cheaper directly from the company who makes it than it would be from a 3rd party store reselling said vaporizer. Also if it's 80 degrees outside don't you think gelatin is going to probably change consistency? Lol c'mon guys use that noodle up there . All love though

Opening at 8am is the start of a great morning for buyers. This is my go to shop when I need to make a quick stop with it being a few blocks from my home. Prices could be a LITTLE cheaper but depending what you buy you'll get your money's worth. 4 stars not 5 because you have to shop the 30 or higher shelves to get the good stuff. But still a good shop

They have nice products, but it's kind of touch 'n go with the staff. Some of them are friendly and knowledgeable while others seem like they're just ready to get you out the door. The prices are okay. The selection is pretty good though.

Skylight in the lobby leaked, so that was a good start. Security staff good and professional, but the budtenders ignored me for several minutes once I was admitted, then tried to charge recreational rates even though I'd filled out the intake medical paperwork. Parking is also terrible. Pretty on the outside, lousy within. Avoid.

Great service when you walk in. Security guard always in a good mood and great with a smile even try's to make you laugh and small talk. Val is also the best in providing recommendations and explaining everything about the product so we can make an inform decision.

Can't believe how lame. We were literally in the door at 8pm and we were turned away. It's illegal to have it open past 8, fine, I get that. But my ass was IN THE DOOR at 7:59 AND READY TO BUY AFTRR I HAD EVEN CALLED YOU GUYS AND SAID I WAS ON THE WAY. Your door wasn't locked! This place is so difficult. The security guard at the desk was nice enough to tell me where to get a medical card even though the one of the guys in there told me to check out 420 Doctors (They're super quick and easy $45). I came back to MMD and they told me I needed to be a resident in California which he never told me before but claimed he did with a slightly frustrated attitude. So I took my money elsewhere. Even when I become a resident I don't plan on shopping here. A lot of people come in and out in here seems like. The green rose is my go to.

Coming from New York so this was my first time in a dispensary. Super fast registration process, great selection, very fair prices and great staff! I think her name was eve, she was awesome, walked me through everything I needed to know, was informative and super sweet! Will be back again

If I could give zero stars I would. Literally the worst dispensary in Hollywood. The chairs in the waiting room are literally a hazard because of how terrible the condition is. The close early. And the service is terrible. I submitted a complaint to the Attorney General about their shady practices. Hopefully they get investigated and shut down.

Always has the best quality and price for anyone that knows the difference between a 30$ eight of lucky charms (my favorite strain there) and med men's 2 year old 65 dollar eight of some bush league strain. All there staff is super nice and helpful too, and their strains change monthly. Where else can you get a blue dream G  for 6$?

I'm new to dispensaries, and it can be a bit intimidating. They can seem a little confusing, and come off as disorganized or unprofessional. Some of the listings I've seen make places seem downright unwelcoming. I'm happy to say there was none of that here. MMD Inc. is located behind a cute little plastic green plant facade-- I thought it was a clothing boutique from the outside when I first walked past. Then I saw there were two + signs on either side of the door, decorated with green daisies. Very fun. It's on a busy Hollywood street that has darling cafes, coffee, day spas, clothes stores...all welcoming for someone who's on the go and needs to pick up her medicine while running errands.When you enter, the intake/waiting room area space is clean and neat. First time patients check in at the window to present your original physician's letter as well as a valid CA State ID. You then enter some info to complete your patient profile (phone number, email, confirm CA address) and initial that you understand the rules and regulations of the dispensary. That's all done quickly on an iPad they have set up. Then, you wait to enter the dispensary. There are plenty of chairs and they even have a nice water cooler set up. There's music playing and a TV to look at. The only difference between this and my GP's front office is they play much better music. That, and there's legal medical marijuana.When there's space for you to do so, the front desk person will let you know it's your turn to head into the dispensary and buzz you down. You'll go down one flight of stairs to be buzzed into another secure door, which leads to the dispensary. It's well lit, neatly set up, freshly painted and nicely laid out. There are cases with dried herbs, edibles, and tinctures for you to select from. There are also accessories if you need. It looked like there was also a case of infused drinks as well. And there is an ATM-- they are cash only. The space itself feels very secure-- from the buzzed doors to the cameras everywhere, this is a legitimate business and you feel safe entering it.When I came in, both the budtenders made a point of saying hello, even as they were wrapping up sales to other patients. I had done my research and was after specific strains for my oh-so-fun social anxiety, so when I let my budtender John know that, he steered me in the right direction. John gave me lots of options, was patient, and encouraged me to look at and smell things, so I'd learn about the medicine I was buying for myself. It was like going to a tasting-- very involved, lots of information so I knew what therapeutic aspects each type of plant would deliver.I left after purchasing some edibles for my delightful cramps (Varavo milk chocolate chunks, individually wrapped so I can store them in the fridge to use once a month), some Dab Dynasty Sour Diesel concentrate (which to me is wax--again, I'm a n00b) and, they gave me their great first time customer deal of $20 for an 1/8th of top shelf. I chose Papaya Hybrid, but I can't wait to come back and try some of the others that John taught me about (Purple Trainwreck, Thin Mint GSC) to see what helps me quell my anxiety and function the best. They threw some papers in my sealed bag as a treat, too.When I left, everyone made a point of saying goodbye-- professional, patient and polite through and through. I liked that MMD was happy to help me become a more educated cannabis consumer and I feel totally comfortable returning there. If you're a novice like me, this would be a good place for you to go, learn, and invest in some great quality medicine. And if you're a pro who really knows your stuff, they are super knowledgeable so you'll have budtenders to chat with who won't waste your time with not knowing their stock.I've already told friends about this place, and I thought a long winded, nerdily detailed Yelp review would also help. If you're on the fence about going here-- don't hesitate. You're welcomed and they are really nice. I'm so glad they're in my neighborhood.

Came to check out my people at MMD!! They just moved back to Hollywood!! These guys us to be on Sunset and Labrea but moved to the valley a while back. Hands down the BEST Cannabis dispensary I've ever been to! They have a beautiful classy waiting room before you get to go downstairs to what should be called HEAVEN! I always passed this place and was intrigued by just how cool it looked from the outside. Until one day the aroma said "Enter" & I did! MMD is very clean & professional. Went specifically for Pop Naturals CBD oil which is listed on their menu. Two budtenders told me they do not have any Pop Naturals products. Bummer...

I look at their menu online @ Weedmaps (weedmaps.com/dispensarie…) every time before I stop in, and despite their page saying that the "Menu was updated x minutes ago..", I'll get to the dispensary within 30 minutes to find that they don't actually have literally almost anything they posted online. ??? Not reliable and a bit deceitful, so I only go as a last resort. Also the place seems too busy with their female budtenders than making sure their menu is accurate or that the quality of the product they sell is good (half the time the nugs will be tiny or mostly shake..). Budtenders don't usually know their product. Meh.

Best weed & Bud tenders in Hollywood period! Get there and get some insane hybrids some super dank Sativa's and some great deals. The Bud tenders are super helpful and always friendly. A must stop if you're in the Hollywood area.

This place used to be decent. Not a great selection but decent prices and nice staff. Now they have a better selection, but charge exorbitant taxes for medical cannabis. Expect to pay 1/3 more on top of their now high prices. I'll never be going back.

I recently stopped in MMD for the first time and was blown away by their customer service, selection, and vibe. I had no idea what I wanted, and was helped by Elle who was super knowledgeable. This place is consistently out of stock of the cannabis that they have on display. I just don't understand why this happens all the time. Then the items they do have available are inconsiderately expensive plus the taxes are high. Got here when it was busy and it only took a few minutes to get seen.  Took my 65 year old Aunty who just got threw surgery and chemotherapy rounds. They were so great to explain and let her learn, showing her different kinds. And a sincere thank you for making her feel comfortable. God bless you and your team. She slept well after sooo long.

It was my 1st time going to an actual dispensary as I've had never been prescribed MMJ before. Staff are helpful talking me through the differences between strains and how it'll affect me. They have a good 1st time visit gift. I chose the $20 for .125oz deal. I would be happy to recommend MMD to my friends. You can be sure I'll be back here.

i believe mmd is the best collective in all of hollywood i left a shop that i was going to for years because the selection is always great and wide and fresh and every few days theres always something new , the staff is all great and the place itself is probably cleanest thing in all of hollywood definitely recommend this spot and especially with that ftp deal !!!

It's a good spot cool looking the entry door kinda looks like a tavern. I went downstairs  they had the good stuff. My only complaint  is that the girl that was working downstairs  was kinda being a bit fake nice. I know you have to act nice at any customer service  job but she needs more work on her faking skills. She clearly  was disgusted by me probably  cause I wasn't  a good looking guy other than that the shop is cool.

Such a great experience at this dispensary every time! I seriously love their selection and the staff are super knowledgable and friendly. Gotta hand it to whoever is maintaining their menu and inventory because I am always stoked on what they have. Also they play super great movies in the waiting area while you contemplate your next epic purchase. Can't recommend this place enough!

The best in Hollywood without a doubt,I love you guys but if I can make a suggestion you should stop leaving your Nasha powder in a humid place he became  a rock and is really difficult to smoke, I always have to go to a different store because your is not store properly. Regards

I like this place because if you're in Hollywood, its super easy to walk to. It is a smaller space but They have a good selection and the prices are reasonable. I got gummies, cookies, a drink & weed. So far, all have hit lol but my favorite is the drink and the cookies. my only thing is when you purchase, they round up so they take more money off your card then give you change back. I also asked for sativa and when i got home realized i was given indica. No biggie but I wanted an upper.

Amazing experience! I visited recently. I'm still very new to this thing. Only visited a few shops but hands down the best experience was here. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. It felt like I was coming home to friends. The vibe is great. I had one girl approach me right away. Her name was Megan. She was very cool and attentive. I asked her to recommend  me some stuff since I'm not sure what I'm looking for. She recommended me the key lime flavored Starburst style chewy things. They are delicious and the right amount of thc for me. I definitely recommend and I also tried the orange soda flavored drink that she recommended it was really good. I also needed a pipe for my grass at home. She has soooo much knowledge on those. It was really helpful. I definitely will come back because of her. Top quality products and service!!! I'd give more stars if I could.

Tonya has been incredibly helpful to two newcomers who just moved to the city from Kansas. She is so knowledgeable about specific desired feelings you want with different strains and has always been our upbeat, friendly, go-to bud tender. This has become our favorite shop with the abundance of options and incredible service!

This dispensary supplied all of my needs during my visit. The entrance is safe and they are following all covid protocol by limiting customers. They also aren't allowing clients to touch merchandise until it is purchased! This was a plus for me being that this place gets so busy. I would recommend coming here if you've been to dispensaries previously and know a general idea of what you want. This would be a dispensary for the  more advanced. The budtender will assist you based on you asking questions however , they were not as welcoming as other shops. This wouldn't be a place for a beginner or else you'd leave spending tons of money on product you're uninformed of. I must say all of the product I got was amazing quality. The edibles were my favorite. They assisted with  my  euphoric and happy mood during travels. I even went back for these peanut butter cups which were absolutely delicious. A plus about this place is that cash isn't required. You are able to use your debit card and they'll run the transaction similar to an ATM. (If your purchase was $35 they'll charge you a 2.50 service fee in addition to rounding the transaction up to $40. Then they  will give you back your change of $5)I appreciated the associate explaining this the second time I went because a friend and I were quite confused when it happened the first time. This place is packed with all cannabis essentials The price is reasonable and the selection changes often ! If you're in Hollywood this will  be your  quick  stop to happiness . Highly recommend the infused beverages and peanut butter cups. !

Usual spot. I love this dispensary and staff. Sometimes shop can get a little busy with tourist looky loo type folks (LOL!) but what are you going to do-It's right in the middle of Hollywood. :)The budtenders are ALWAYS more than patient and informative. Love the delivery drivers, they're all cool too! Anytime I've had issues with my order, they corrected the issue right away. Just be chill with them, were all humans doing our best. Tip your budtenders!

This place is a tourist trap rip off. It’s set up really nicely, has everything displayed exquisitely... boutique style- in order to sell people (who have no idea what quality marijuana costs) very middle-of-the-road, often dried out, stale weed, for a price higher than I have ever seen at any other dispensary in my life, Colorado or here. If you are in LA on vacation and want (actually good) weed at a reasonable price, go somewhere else. The fact is that most hole-in-the-wall dispensaries in Los Angeles have far better flower than this place ever gets in stock. At literally half the price. Don’t be fooled by the glitz and glam. It doesn’t take more than one trip here to see what’s going on: their profits are being used on packaging and interior design, on T-shirts, Merch, etc., anything other than the ability to offer its customers a good product at a good price. I will never return.
