Let me start off by saying that I am not a regular marijuana consumer nor do I recall ever going into a weed dispensary before coming to MedMen DTLA, so please take this review with a grain of salt. That being said, this place really has its shit together. We've been here a couple of times during COVID-19 and, from our numerous phone calls made to various dispensaries in the area, they have the strictest safety protocols for this pandemic.They limit the number of customers they have in the store at once with 6ft social distancing line-markings outside while you wait in line. All of the employees are very friendly, knowledgable, and wear matching red MedMen face masks. They also have great THC/CBD gummies, cookies, bath bombs, ointments, vape pens, and indica/sativa flower.In my opinion, they're kind of on the pricier side but I haven't been to any other dispensaries so I have nothing to compare it to. My friend said that their selection of edibles was limited but that their prices were about the same as other dispensaries. All I know is that this place looks like an Apple store. The display cases and the packaging for all the products look super fancy and high quality. It makes you feel bad for throwing any of the containers away after you've used the product. You have to see this place for yourself!

Very friendly guy named Alex helped me out and the level of knowledge was astounding.

I came here to buy some cbd oil and everybody there down to security was extremely nice. Cons: You'd think for their prices being extremely expensive, that the workers there would be more knowledgeable on the products especially to someone who isn't very familiar on what products to get. So, just a heads up, do your research online and see what product will fit your needs.

Michelle and Marcus (and everyone else at MM DTLA) are AMAZING! So helpful and patient with my non-stop questions and requests.This is a great store with everything you could ask for when your it comes to the green. Yes it's a bit pricey, but they always come through. I work nearby so it's ultra convenient. I love MM DTLA!!

All staff were great and helpful, but Nick took care of us we definitely will be back, nick showed great knowledge  of the  products we were interested in and also assisted us with any questions we had thanks again for the discounts

If you're looking to be finessed, come to MEDMEN. I just went in today and got a "deal". They said if you bought a 1/8th of this certain brand, then you got another 1/8th for a penny.  Keep that in mind. So I got 2 of those 1/8ths and 1g cartridge of wax from ELITE for $45. From those 3 things I got, I paid $132!!!!! FYI, that "get one for a penny" is bs. I attached my receipt below for reference. Y'all say "for a penny", yet calculate the original price on the receipt? At this rate, I'd rather buy my weed off the local crack head in-front of 7/11.

Love the place, staff are super nice and helpful, especially CHRISTINA with the beautiful eyesgirl gave me some great advice on the what to get, and she knows what she's talking about great LA dispensary experience!

Wish the place had more staff working when I went, had several questions about new product but had to wait almost 15min and just gave up so I bought multiple items to try them myself. And their credit card machine was down so two lines of customers were being filtered to one person which took another 15min for me to pay.

Cesar is the PLUG! delivered quickly and discreetly. Top tier service. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I love going to the store. Everyone that works there and knowledgeable and resourceful BUT now that I have discovered delivery I am an even bigger fan. Delivery times are reasonable and accurate always. The drivers are always friendly, courteous, and professional. Today we lucked out and got the delivery manager Christian who was patient and communicative about everything MedMen. Gotta love a company that's all hand on deck to meet demands of customers when needed. So much to appreciate!

So I visited LA with my cousin and we came to Medmen for bud. Anthony and the manager were super helpful even the light skin woman with blond braids was also super helpful honestly all the staff were welcoming and available. I will most definitely visit Medmen when I come back. They knew all the answers to our questions and even had their own input on what they like. I could keep goin on n on but jus GOOO TO MEDMEN BABY IT LITT

This location isn't the closest location to me, but I choose to come to this one because the vibe at this one, they are all so patient and friendly. I brought my mother in with me yesterday, and We were lucky to get helped by Reggie, who had patience with my mother which I appreciate the most. He made her laugh, he was extremely descriptive and friendly, and got her what she needed, at the end of the visit my mom even bought me some goodies ;) I appreciate this location.

If you go to weed maps and type what product your looking for you will be able to find it and get it for a reasonable price . Who ever heard of 35% taxes to all your products ? If it's $55 it will go all the way to $90 thanks to taxes this company implies. Some Vendors don't know that this price is what their products being sold and this is why theirs always products that are on special all because they don't wanna loose money and waste them so they sell them at discount. All ima say is come check this place out if you wanna throw money or smoke it then comeback again and spend twice as much .... Goodluck

I love coming to this MedMen. I love the unique products they carry and the staff is always amazing. Angelique checked us out yesterday, and she was such a breath of fresh air. She was so positive, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. It's professionals like her that help to peel away the negative stigma associated with cannabis and the stores that sell it. I came to this dispensary with my boyfriend to pick up some bud and the guy at the door told me I couldn't get in because I have an Arizona ID and a California Rec. I've been accepted at every dispensary I've been to with my ID, except this one. I'm glad my boyfriend was with me so he could just go in for me. So ridiculous, I will not be coming back.

I mean they are nice and treat you with respect but the prices are kind of ridiculous. Also, every time I go their register is broken and can't take cards. So I need to go and use their ATM for withdrawals... we are in the 21st century, that is no excuse anymore.

The cannabis business is booming and MedMen is a somewhat reputable brand in a largely unregulated and unsubstantiated field. I'm a health care professional so I take everything with a grain of salt, however most medications are derived from plants so I don't dispute the therapeutic effects that cannabis and cannabis based products can have on people. Even though they tout themselves as being "med" centered this is obviously a haven for pot heads and recreational marijuana users. I had to endure listening to someone who was "well versed" in the medical uses of marijuana use really dumb phrases like "the entourage effect" and  "detox your liver."Just a FYI your liver is your detox center, anyone that is trying to sell you something that will help you detox is a snake oil salesman. You can't detox the organ that does the detoxing in your body, if you really want to help it out lay off the booze and red meat, wash your hands before you eat, and practice safe sex. To top it off the people who work here are probably their best customers and I'll just leave it at that. Overpriced, overhyped, and just plain stupid. There are more reputable dispensaries out there like Exhale Med Center in WeHo, don't waste your time or money here.

A kind man by the name of "Taylor" helped my boyfriend and I. He was very knowledgeable and professional.  As a newbie at plant medicine and needing a lot help, he made us feel comfortable so that we could ask all the questions we had. We felt confident with the choices he helped us make and that they would help us with our very specific ailments. He made us not want to ever go anywhere else or even to get help from anyone else. :)

Best place to get your goodies.This place is clean, organized, staff is super friendly and very informative (esp Alex). I totally recommend this place!

The 3 stars is for the staff. I haven't really been that much of a weed smoker since high school. Some guy was slangn weed the other day on Venice beach and I thought how does he have any customers with all these Ganga stores nowadays. I totally understand why now $28 dollars for a three Kings joint that smelled like Shwag/Reg Mid at best and that's pushing it. I felt scammed bro. . I bet their weed isn't even grown outdoors, some dark room in a warehouse or some shit. If we want to smoke again we'll get it from the hippie dude on Venice Beach . Or try the other stores, cookies, Shrebinskis. Etc.

How times have changed, am I right?! When I first moved to California all of my friends were big pot smokers and always doing it on the DL outside venues or smoking on the chair lifts at ski resorts and quickly hiding it before off loading, etc and 20 years later, we have a cannabis store that resembles an Apple Store and runs with the same level of customer service and efficiency.You want weed, they've got it. You want edibles, they've got it, you want a branded, hooded sweatshirt or other Knick-nack, they've got it.Unlike Costco, you don't get any free samples while pretending you're gonna buy, but if you bring a friend back, you get 20% off! The staff was super personable and professional and helped me find what I needed for an upcoming surgery that'll help me through the recovery pain.

I want to give a Shout Out about staff members Joshua, Celena and Angelique who were very helpful in helping me decide which strain would be best for me. I'm very happy with my treatment there and the decision I made on the strain! I love Medmen!

Went in on for help with an exchange. Joleena took amazing care of me, helped find me a new battery and recommended a fantastic CBD drink that relieved the anxiety I was experiencing.

Won't be going there anymore, the tax is ridiculous, the amount has shrunk stupendously.  Rushed out the door, I suffer from horrific pain, can't smell anything, nothing explained or given a few choices, nah... This is not my first time there... No personality sales guy throw first thing at you...

Great staff always in this location. The other night everyone there was super helpful and extra nice to me when I spilled my water all over the place by accident. There was two different men named Marcus and a nice girl named Leslie that helped me out. Please do something nice for all of them.

Had a great experience here from the check in service and everyone who spoke with me at different sections of the store. So much information and checking on you to see if you need help or recommendations. This place makes you feel like weed is legal, compared to some of the other dark/anxiety ridden/sketchy/mean-hot-girl options I've visited nearby. They even offered to let me park my bike inside so I didn't have to sweat it getting messed with on the street, since there wasn't a bike rack within eyesight. Will def come back to this one.

OK, this is like a (weed) toy store for adults. Came here yesterday and brought our dog.  He's allowed in, which I thought was cool.  We tried him out and tried to get him to sniff the weed. One point he put his paws up on the counter and I was like: "NOO." LOL, he doesn't get to do much stuff like that often. He's an apartment and walk dog. Back to the store now, they have their weed in these containers where you can slide this plastic contraption and smell it and look through magnifiers and stuff.  Interesting. They provide a basket much like a grocery store shopping basket for you, but I'm sure if you got anywhere near filling it up, you'd spend like $1000 easily. Was just looking for something with CBD and a tiny bit of THC.Got like 2 cigarette looking things for $15 +tax.  So yeah I mean, pretty expensive IMO. Everything is extremely expensive here, I haven't really bought any of this stuff lately, so I'm not sure if prices went up or its just MedMen or its DTLA? Not really sure...Or maybe it's just cheaper in the valley. The place is still cool though.  Neat and has a lot of stuff to pick from.  They keep a lot of stuff on the shelves, so you can just look and grab whatever you want, which I think is pretty cool.You get a full browsing shopping experience. You can pick things up and look at them, etc. Whereas most places, you gotta talk to someone and they have to grab stuff for you. I think the cheapest eighth I saw there was $45.  Most were like $65-$70.Vapes ranged from $30 and the cartridges were like $55. Disposable CBD vapes - $60,ATM inside, if not they only take a card if its DEBIT.Bring your ID or else you won't get let in.

To be fair this is simply what I think and feel after visiting for the first time...I think the flower is over priced. Was pretty disappointed that everything is prepackaged. No first time patient deals. & I had to pay 3 different types of taxes which amounted to a little over $50 (in taxes alone!) Will I visit again? I won't say I never will again, but will definitely not make the extra drive anytime soon due to their prices and taxes....Employees were great! I usually like to tip as I believe great services should be acknowledged.... but definitely something to think about when paying so much....

Taylor helped me out and I was super lucky to find the Sunday Goods Delight Vape. This product is actually my FAVORITE THC product I have found on the west coast, and it's literally so DOPE that I found it in Los Angeles.

Delivery service is very fast, easy, and communicative. My driver was Josh, and they were extremely prompt and kind. I really enjoyed our interaction we had especially during these times when we don't get a lot of interaction with others.  Thank you Josh for the awesome service!

It was my first time ordering through MedMen and I decided to get it delivered. Though I live in the valley and have plenty of dispensaries to go to, MedMen by far has the best selection and most consistent prices. I haven't been to the store, but the MedMen website is very easy to navigate. Ordering was simple and I had the option of paying cash or debit (paying debit requires them to round up to the nearest $5 increment). I was very surprised to have placed the order without having to pay first. Just be prepared with your ID and method of payment upon arrival.Mylin delivered my order in about 90 minutes. He was very friendly and even gave me some recommendations for next time based on my order! He also honored my 10% discount since it was my first purchase.I have ordered delivery before through Ganja Runner, Grassdoor, etc. The selection was always limited and felt like some of the drivers were sketch. I would order again through MedMen over those guys any day. Thanks to Mylin for driving all the way to the valley!

Weed at your convenience. This is such a cool place for that person who maybe is a sometime user and usually gets their stuff from a connect because they have no idea what they're doing and are too shy/scared to let people know that they even dabble in the Mary Jane. And now that it's legal, they're like "Omg, how do I even start?" Here. Start here. Go here. You may feel a little weirded out at first but that will subside. The staff here talk about the weed like they're cars, with all the special features and benefits. "This product is really great if you're just looking for a little something before work to take off the edge but you don't want to be very high." - Actually heard a staff member say that. So yeah, you have to give your ID before you enter and that may be a little intimidating, but after that, it's all gravy. Ask for help - these guys are more than willing to provide ALLL the info you need. I love how everything is on display too. Really helps you get an idea of what you're getting. Check out process is simple. The whole experience is pretty simple - again, just don't be shy to ask questions if you're a noob and don't know a lot. The last thing you want to do is buy a non-THC product and get mad that you don't "feel anything." Medmen make this easy.

Customer service is great! Everyone is nice and they're eager to help. However, their resources are very sparse which sadly effects overall customer experience. Curbside is a nightmare because there is never any space on the busy road they've set up. And don't even think about delivery, because even though they close at 7 pm, if you don't have your order in my 12 pm, they won't be able to deliver to you same day (I've been cancelled on 3-odd times like this). And their selection is incredibly limited. I went to Anaheim's and just by selection and ease of parking alone, honestly, I doubt I'll return back to DTLA unless I'm really desperate. They only get 2 stars because, like I said, customer service is exceptional.

I've been to MedMen previously in Las Vegas. It's always a good, clean store, full of helpful people. They offer a variety of recreational items from flower, papers, pre-rolls, batteries, chargers, edibles, CBD and several other options. The counts are all written on the products. The flower you can smell prior to purchasing. Any questions, their staff will help you feel comfortable whether it's your first time buying or your 100th. I came in here as it was close to my hotel. I wanted to get a cartridge. The associate had told me that this cartridge I wanted doesn't work w/ all batteries. He went on to say that you cannot return any items. I returned later that day w/ my battery. Another associate helped me. He took my battery to match it up w/ one of the opened cartridge. When he came back he said he couldn't find a cartridge to test it, but his boss said it would work. I then proceeded to buy the cartridge that I was looking to get. I got back to my hotel and realized it didn't fit. I was pretty upset as now I couldn't return this item. I returned the next day looking to speak w/ a manager. The associate that greeted me wanted to hear my story. So I explained. She then asked to see the battery and cartridge. She took the cartridge and showed me that there was something I had to unscrew. I felt like a dumb dumb. I hadn't used a cartridge w/ a battery where I had to unscrew it. It was simply plug and play. I thanked her for her time and let her know that's some helpful information newbies/veterans could use.The staff is uber friendly and eager to help. Check them out so you can get your relax on.

Purchased a Lowell Herb Co Pen yesterday and the product had no battery , nor was the product supplied with a battery to recharge the DISPOSABLE PEN . I purchased the same product from a different retailer the next day (today) and this product is fully charge and ready for usage . As well as $15 cheaper in value . Total rip off, i want my $80 back or store credit for a better product .

The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable and genuinely want to help you it can be overwhelming when there is so much to choose from but trust me they got you they answer all your questions I usually got to the LAX location but either way I wasn't stirred wrong

Christian and the staff were extremely helpful and polite. They are all wonderful, courteous, knowledgeable and could point me in the right direction to get the medical products I needed. They made some fabulous recommendations based on my needs for CBD, CBN and CBG products without too much THC or delta 9-THC to assist with cancer issues, spinal issues and the associated pain and nausea. They also pointed out some great alternatives from edibles to capsules to mints to distillates (some slower to take affect while other options had a faster acting affect). I really appreciated their patience, knowledge and HUGE selection. It was also really great to be able to see most of the edibles and other products under a display case to get an idea of the size, quality, texture etc of the products I was getting. Christian and his team definitely went above and beyond in assisting me! I highly recommend the DTLA MedMen team. Just for your awareness... when they close at 21:00 hours, it means they CLOSE at 21:00 hours. With the setup of sales of cannabis in California, once 21:00/closing time hits, they CANNOT sell you anything after that time soo be sure to allow yourself plenty of time to browse/shop AND complete your transaction. They do accept debit cards in addition to cash for a nominal $2.95 fee which is awesome because that way you don't have to carry a bunch of cash on you and with the 35% tax from the State of California ‍ you are sure to be covered in making your purchase. I will definitely return to MedMen DTLA because they have both an amazing selection of products (teas, edibles, cartridges, flower, gummies, mints, protabs, sublingual, tinctures, distillates, beverages, chocolates, pre-rolls and much much more) as well as compassionate, effective, courteous, honest, knowledgeable staff who aren't afraid to share their real opinions about the products. They have the best edible brands like Wanna, Wyld, Camino, Smokies, Dr. Moxies etc.... just wish they also had Journeyman's sour jelly's in 1:1 and 10:1 and the Swifts sour drops in 1:1. Will add a picture later but the display cases and store are clean and well organized, products are well merchandise and easy to locate and sale items are clearly marked. Mahalo nui loa to Christian for helping me to get (almost all ‍ deadlines...) my medicine in record time. I highly recommend this store and the DTLA staff for all of your cannabis needs. Much Aloha and see y'all soon. I cannot express how grateful I am for the suggestions of products that would work the best will still being somewhat budget friendly. Speaks volumes when staff is willing to recommend a lower price-point item that is known to be more effective in their opinion so great job Christian! Definitely don't wait until the end of the night to get there if you need more than one or two items. They are extremely fast at getting you taken care of and checked out/cashiering, but leave yourself the time to be sure you can get everything you really need/want because they have a HUGE SELECTION of HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTS and FRIENDLY KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF!!! Also, extremely handicapped friendly store with flat floors making it even easier to do your shopping when using a walker or wheelchair. Only thing that was a bummer was the high taxation by the State o of California at about 35%, but there's no getting around paying "THE MAN" now that we can legally get our plant medicine for the endocannabinoid system that exists in every human yet even medical schools aren't teaching that system in the regular curriculum... only in specialty continuing education programs. MedMen is a chain of recreational marijuana dispensaries that is rapidly expanding in LA and OC. Their shops are an obvious rip off of an Apple store. Replace the weed with MacBooks and it's the same place. This location in DTLA is spacious and well organized. A security guard outside checks your ID prior to verify that you are 18+ years old, and then a dispensary employee checks you in. You are then invited to browse the dispensary. The flowers were well organized and displayed in palm sized plexiglass containers that you are able to smell and get a good look at. In front of each cluster of display weed is an iPad, which lists price per amount, and detailed information about each flower. There was a good flow from one display to the next, beginning with house strain sativas and ending in top shelf indicas, with dozens of hybrids and other strains for sale in between. Various topical products, CBD, inhalers, edibles, and even pet products are neatly merchandised on shelves around the perimeter. I came here specifically to stock up on the relatively difficult to find "Dosist" brand of concentrate pens, which a friend of mine swears by to alleviate anxiety. My boyfriend also picked out a few flowers. I noticed that many strains we have purchased before were significantly more expensive here than at other dispensaries. Not marginally-a LOT more expensive. Our beloved Supersilver Haze strain was $150 more per ounce than at anywhere else I have purchased it before. Our final purchase included 5 Dosist products, a gram, an eighth, and a half of various top shelf strains. So, a little less than an ounce of flower, total. When the friendly cashier informed me that the total was $700, I was confused. I had done the math in my head, and we had selected $550 worth of product. Alas, at MedMen, each item is taxed 15%, and THEN there is an overall tax on your total. I'm no tax professional, but isn't double sales taxation illegal? I have been a medical marijuana patient for years and have NEVER paid tax at a dispensary before, let alone $150 in tax. Chill, MedMen. I paid the 7 bills, and we were handed the order in two bright red, shiny airtight ziplock bags. We were on our way to a nice dinner, so I asked if they had any less conspicuous bags. "Nope! But don't worry. No one has gotten mugged yet!" The final straw was when one of the employees asked me and my 47 year old boyfriend if we were going to Coachella this weekend. I felt deeply offended on a personal level.

First off, this 5-star review is for the stellar Angelique. I had just touched down from a long flight and needed something to help me decompress. Angelique was exceptionally helpful and attentive. She suggested a couple of items that I wasn't too sure about: and guess what? It was fantastic. She knew what I needed before I did. Ask for her by name!

The customer service & products are excellent. I've only been here a couple of times, but if you ever need any help or have any questions just ask for Devin. He's literally the encyclopedia of MedMen products. Everyone NEEDS to try this place cause their CBD & THC merchandise is the best & not to mention afford too.

Convenient. Reliable. Ordering from the MedMen DTLA location has always been a breeze. The drivers are usually discreet and pretty knowledgeable about the product. I love that their drivers are staff and Petra is one of my favorites. If you're looking for a delivery option, they're worth checking out!

First time visiting MedMen and while ive been to an abundant amount of dispensaries in socal i was really impressed with the variety and size of shop. Jonny helped me select 3 different products and made my experience that much better! Will be back..

Joshua hooked it up today. i was in and out in 5 minutes with exactly what i wanted AND he was cool and funny. just tried the product and it's amazing. definitely will be back great experience here

A bit on the pricier side, but as a newbie to cannabis products I like the knowledgeability of the staff. Right when you enter the store you're bound to have at least one person welcome you in and answer any questions you might have. I'm usually in and out within 10 minutes feeling pretty confident I got just what I was looking for.Parking: Pretty tough to find since you're in a busy part of DTLA. Since I'm usually in and out fast I just park on the side and put my blinkers on, but do so at your own risk.

Scamming people w/ Misrepresented THC % Content!!! Sales person sells me on this 24% THC Sativa telling me how strong it is. It's $57 for an 1/8 (3.5 grams) I buy it. Way overpriced but ok. They hand it to me in a sealed black pouch that says 24% THC on it (just like the sales person said and iPad display showed). I arrive home to open the sealed pouch and inside on actual jar/packaging it's clearly marked 20% THC!? I call MedMen back and I get Nick on the phone who says it's no big deal! It's probably just a misprint happens all the time but if I want I can come get a refund. I drive all the way back to downtown to get my refund. I tell the associate at the front door I need to make a return. First she says they can't do that but after hearing the problem she starts to apologize because that's not right and points out Manager Man Bun Nick. Nick looks at the THC % and sees it doesn't match and proceeds to tell me that he knows he told me he could refund me on the phone but can't really do that. He did apologize and said he would make it right by giving me 20% off of another $50 purchase. So, their solution to ripping me off is to have me spend another $50 to get 20% off of a product that who knows what it will actually be when I get home!? As a manager Nick probably knew he couldn't give me a refund but had me drive an hour each way for $10 off $50 of weed?! That's less than my gas back and forth. I came to MedMen because they are building this brand of upscale pot shop meets apple store environment. I know they are expensive as hell but I wanted to try and get some really good weed and see if it's worth it. Well, I'll save you all the trouble, it's not worth it. The shop may be clean and have 20 employees but you're not getting high end product. All you're buying is overpriced weed from a corporation trying to make as much profit as possible. They don't care about you, your high, your wallet; just their profits! Ps. Just go to a regular weed shop! You'll get twice as much weed of a better quality and have a better experience. The weed wasn't even special. Was packaged in August! It's The middle of January.

This store is DOPE (haha), I'm not gonna front on that. It has amazing products, educational tools and top-notch marketing, and very helpful staff. What I don't like however is the payment process and insane taxes - hence 3 stars.For those excited to be able to use your debit card - DON'T. Just bring cash. First, they round up your total to the nearest dollar and give you real money "change" back. I also just noticed a $2.50 Fee from Chase bank because the way MedMen rings you up as a Non-Chase (in my case) ATM withdrawal. I've never purchased something using my pin at a store and then been charged an ATM FEE. Freaking weird.Also points off for unoriginal branding courtesy of Barbara Kruger and SUPREME. I'll be bringing my loyal business to PMG where it belongs because I'm not that fancy anyways :)

IF!!! You must be in Los Angeles, this is the best dispensary I've bern to.I live the fact that it's like a real store.  You walk in (after showing ID at the door), then you pick up what you want and bring it to the register.  It doesn't feel like a prison like most dispensaries that I've been to in San Francisco and Las Vegas. There are associates around to help you with questions and recommendations. I can't wait until they open one...wherever I end up living in a year.  Hopefully in Florida. A great experience in buying a plant.

Was looking for a dispensary that was open early (8 AM) near me as I quickly learned all the others open much later. What I found was one of the best spots I've ever been to.  The entire staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and honestly - the setup reminded me of the Apple store. Their product selection is about the most comprehensive I've ever found.  When ready to ask a few questions and make my selections, I was lucky enough to work with Davin L. Davin walked me through the options, gave me his recommendations and explained why. He was also able to advise me on differences between products, what effects I could expect and even what was best for my budget! Great spot, even worth going out of your way if you!

They have a large informative staff! If it's your first time, they input your ID and give you 25 percent off.

Great location, however I wish parking was easier as it is at their other locations. Great selection and perfect location, center to pretty much everything in DTLA.Staff was great & inviting and very helpful, we have visited many Medmen locations and this one has a different vibe than many of the others we have visited.

I am very upset. We are in a global pandemic- things aren't as they normally are. License is expired. You told me that I couldn't come in. I needed a product for my dog whom just had surgery- that wasn't available else where  THIS IS JUST WRONG. I WILL BE SHARING THIS WITH OTHERS AND WILL NOT COMING BACK. other shops are accepting expired ids after April. The governor closed down the DMV.This is not helping the community when we are in this time. YOU SHOULD ALL THINK THIS THRU. thanks and stay healthy.

I mean... is this real life?! This place was pretty on point and felt like the Nordstrom of pot shops if you ask me.An entire wall of edibles?! Okayyyy... Great selection of goods, knowledgeable staff, and a New York loft-y kind of vibe so I was diggin it. Kind of felt like I was in the cool kids club, especially when I left with a fancy little zipper pouch instead of a sketchy paper bag.I would say the only negative was the price.. I paid like $5-10 more for the same brands I pick up at other spots - but I'm assuming that goes to the marketing budget and the upscale atmosphere.

This place was easy to find.  Right in jewelry / fashion district of dtla. Lots of selections. Nice And knowledgeable staff. Prices are very decent. Bag of 100 mg 10 thc candies  is reasonable at 22$ imo.  I would suggest researching website. To know what you need. Prior to coming in not to get lost in abundance of variety of products.   Recommend

Customer service was great! Appearances are great! The shop is clean and the bud tenders knowledgeable... however I'm kind of upset I didn't just go to Stizzy! Medmen is Waaaay over priced! If you want to get your moneys worth there are plenty of other dispensaries who charge their bud etc at reasonable prices. You definitely will not get your money's worth! I feel like I cheated myself... but I guess you gotta live and learn ‍

The location was easy to locate and very clean. Staff was  awesome and efficient. Angelique the cashier was also great.

For having lots of staff, they should really check their prices. There were a bunch of prerolls that were priced at $12 and once I got to the register the guy said it's $25. There were over a dozen marked at $12 each and the cashier said it was his mistake, that it's $25 and that's the final price. I know some places will honor the price, but not here...

This place is awesome! They put a lot into making it easy to find the details of each product and showcasing a wide variety of products for all purposes. The staff is awesome too! Now that weed is legal in California, you gotta expect some extra af places like this to start opening up.The inside is actually pretty cool, and they have interesting products (CBD/THC bath bombs!!). That being said, I understand people's complaints because the prices sometimes are not very well marked plus they hit you with that 15% marijuana tax at the register, so you may be in for a surprise.I can't really complain though. They have a huge selection which also includes some hash and wax. Also I came when some labels were about to expire since they wouldn't be updated to the new code, so I ended up getting 70% off on edibles :^)

I call this the "Tiffany's of Marijuana" -- was my first time there this past weekend and I was specifically looking for CBD Oil to help with my asthma and respiratory issues. The staff was very helpful from the moment we walked in but didn't hover and try to obnoxiously push and sell anything.I appreciate the gal who helped me out in finding the perfect CBD oil.Will be back again soon!

I had the worse experience today!They deserve -0 stars! Yesterday I spent $60 for vape battery and a 0.5 cartridge of Grand Daddy Purp  (an Indica) by a company called,"ABX Absolute Extracts"The lovely young lady who assisted me gave this company a "glowing review"! It tasted burnt! Just awful!It also was harsh and gave me a sore scratchy throat! AND I WAS CHARGED $60 FOR THIS GARBAGE! I didn't even feel anything when I smoked it!Today I attempted to take it back hoping I could get some sort of exchange.Unfortunately the young lady who assisted me the day prior was not in. Instead I was assisted by a woman who's attitude was basically "Fuck you" "It's not my problem". They stole $60 of my hard earned money and sold me a shit product! What a rip off this place is!Screw you too Med Men! Also if you notice other reviews, they give the same bullshit response. They don't intend to make ANYTHING right. Just steal your money

Came here on the way to the 4th of July festival at Grand Park, for some edibles. Nice, clean, well-staffed location. Have been to the West Hollywood location also. The fact that both locations have the same setup inside means you know what to expect at any of their locations.The salesperson recommended Dr Norm's Chocolate Chip Cookies. OMG. That cookie recipe is DELICIOUS! LOL..the kind that tempts me to the "can't eat just one" moment. . But one was enough, if you know what I mean.. If you're into edibles, which is my drug of choice , they offer a good selection

They convinced me to give my email address at the door with a promise of giving an instant %10 discount. The discount coupon didn't show up in my inbox. The door person affirmed that if I just tell the sales person that I signed up for the newsletter they would give me the discount.  The sales person didn't honor my statement. At the end I gave up all my ID info on top of my email address, I feel like I am scammed. I don't think I would shop there again. The presentation is nice. That's why they get an additional star.

I really liked the store interior and came in because leafy told me they had lavender and cotton candy strains. They didn't have either, but had a large selection of sativa edibles. They also take debit. The issue here is the tax! They have a 15% excise tax in addition to LA taxes. The only positive was the 70% off sale going on so literally ended up fine. Got an Alpine disposable wax pen, calivolve truffles and vive tablets for $30. Note: No good first timer gifts...they gave me a magazine lol

I love MedMen! Unlike a lot of other dispensaries, the staff here was super friendly and attentive. Newbies, if you're usually intimidated by dispensaries, MedMen is the place for you. You can ask the staff anything and they would patiently explain everything to you. Besides this location, I've also been to the West Hollywood and Beverly Hills location, and have always had wonderful experiences. Love the layout of the store and how each section is organized by the types of products.

I'm a downtown resident and I come to MedMen relatively frequently.  Compared to the other dispensaries around, it's pleasant to be in, and I don't feel like I'm walking to an opium den.  It's been a welcome change from the bush-league operations around downtown.  The main downside of this place to me is the egregious amount of sales associates that stand around looking to interact with people.  This store could probably cut retail headcount by 50% and still have too many associates working the store at any given time.This is definitely not the place to be if you're looking for 1000 mg edibles and/or 1 oz of "primo" weed for CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP.  I come here because the brands are polished and the transaction is easy/painless.  It is a little bit more expensive than your local dive dispensary, but I don't have to deal with getting patted down and wanded by a bouncer like I'm walking into the weed version of a rachet nightclub.  I go to MedMen for the same reason I stay at a nice hotel, and not a Motel 6.Reading through the previous reviews, I don't really understand the people raging against the corporatization of weed culture.  Weed is effectively the same as alcohol.  So, sell me things...without friction (and preferably without having to interact with sales associates).  I don't need to hear about the therapeutic effects of crystal chakras when combined with some random hybrid strain of gobbledygook.  Just sell me good weed that's nicely packaged in a clean, well-lit place and I'll happily pay the 10% MedMen premium instead of driving to a traphouse dispensary in the valley to save $3 on a bag of edibles.

So today was my first day going in, and I was nervous on what to pick out. I wanted a pen on what to smoke to get me happy/high as an alternative to drinking.This BLONDE, GLASSES, PETITE girl was so helpful! She approached my buddy and I and answered ALL our questions. I forgot to get name. But she was there working on Sunday 5/26 afternoon. She was AMAZING! Helped me and buddy out to pick out a pen.Such great customer service of the whole team. Friendly and so much delicious product. I'm definitely a forever customer. PLEASE GOVE HER A SHOUT OUT! Such a sweet fun worker! I'll love being a customer of hers.

This guy Gregory at the front was extremely rude to me and was denying me entrance because I didn't want them to create a "profile" on me in order to buy pot. They record your driver license info and your address and then mail you and spam you with stuff probably.DO NOT GO HERE. MEDS ARE OVERPRICED. STAFF IS UNFRIENDLY

Do not believe when they say they can do delivery.  I placed an order about 10 a.m. I kept getting phone calls with fake ETAs and everytime asking if payment was cash or debit. I also got text messages with fake ETAs. The last one said in abt 15 minutes. Finally somebody called around 4pm to say that they were still delayed and that they wouldn't take debit only cash. So they were canceling my order and if I could come to the store to pick it up....because it was raining. When I called to complain, the person on the phone just mocked me. Terrible service.

I popped my MedMen cherry yesterday! It was a long time coming and it did not disappoint. If you need a high potency disposable I'd go with Heavy Hitters all day. Bae is also a boutique disposable that offers super tasty strains if you're into flavor! On New years eve to avoid traffic and to beat the clock. I chose to walk from my home hear in Lil Tokyo, to Medmen to pick up some flowers for the upcoming events, the young man at the door was very cordial. Upon entering most of the sales reps stared at me as if they'd never seen an elderly disabled gentleman. Then I was greeted by a very nice young lady, she respectfully walked me through the dispensary offering her knowledge of which products she felt would work for me , she even laughed with me when I expressed my pain in humor and showed concerns when it wasn't. A very large medicinal and recreational dispensary.   Looks like an apple store.  They have everything you need at this store.  Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. They take credit and cash.  Taxes are added on at the end and they are a bit pricey.  I do like coming here it's no hole in the wall...clean.   they have different locations throughout LA County and in Vegas.  Havn't been to sny in Begas but I did see one.  Try them out.

Needed to pick up some CBD products to help relieve my muscle aches and pains.  I live near Downtown and have always passed by the  Medmen store and seen many of their advertising through out L.A....so I figured lets give em a try.They definitely have a nice and modern store with a lot of displays of their products and vendors that they carry. Their customer service was pretty good and thorough with most of their product line...it does seem that maybe their reps are a bit rushed through their cannabis training 101.  Your supposed to get 10% off your first purchase with MedMen-you have to register your email at the front door before you enter- but I didn't get my 10% off.  Oh well, I ended up spending $104 for a CBD vape pen and a CBD concentrate drop...kinda expensive but to be expected. All in all I think they need to carry more products in their inventory and be a bit more insightful of their products to better guide their newer clients.  But I would come back to check em out again...

Yesterday was my second time going to this dispensary and the second time I received awesome customer service, this time from Rocky.This will be my new go-to spot. They have a wide variety of product and the staff makes sure their customers leave happy.

Came here in the early evening on the day my license expired (though technically still valid until midnight) and they wouldn't let me in. So I can drive with this license and get into bars but y'all won't let me inside a dispensary? Alright, sure makes sense.

The best weed buying experience I've had in LA. The prices aren't low, but sign up for emails to get discounts and news of specials they really help out with the taxes.The layout is welcoming, and modern. "Apple store for weed" I call it.The staff is super helpful. Lara helped me today and not only helped me find everything i needed and explain some things i didn't even know about, but she also informed me of the email list for discounts and waited patiently for me to get the email so i could receive the discount.I'll be honest, i had not come back for a couple weeks bc of the prices, but after coming back I believe there's no other selection at that level thats so accessible in DTLA and the new deals i know about really level the playing field. 5 star experience, thanks.

THIS STORE IS AWESOME! It's literally like an Apple Store for WEED! It looked and felt like one with all the iPads explaining different information for each product, so cool!!! I came in the other day to witness several employees being very unprofessional to cameramen on public sidewalk. Eventually one worker came out & sprayed window on cameramen's when. Those are chemicals & are not to play around with. Never coming back again. Not recommended

Went in to pickup my favorite raw garden 1 gram cartridge. Marked $65. Went to pay and total is over $95?? WTF??? Walked out of there and went to another dispensary and paid $60 for the cartridge plus tax and fees worked out to less than $72 total. Big difference in prices, I hate getting ripped off. Looks like Med Men add their own extra "tax" to all sales. I'll never be back.

Sheldon has near encyclopedic knowledge and directed me to exactly what I needed.  Seek him out if you can!  He's terrifically helpful, super smart and nice, all I could hope for!

Best experience ever at a dispensary! The shop was so beautiful and reminded me of a high end boutique. And the selection of items! I was wowed by how the store appeared, but best of all was my interaction with Adam! I was looking for a variety of flower, and not only did he recommend some great strains, I learned so much more about flower from him and peaked my interest in educating myself more about it. Not only is he very knowledgeable, he was so welcoming and helpful. I've never been to any other dispensary where I've felt this comfortable before, and I had a wonderful experience shopping with Adam. I would highly recommend my friends and family to go here!

Ordered delivery from this location. They had everything in stock, which isn't always the case when I order on the West side. It arrived quickly, in 3 hours. Petra was my rep and she was super friendly, courteous, reminded me of my $5 reward and applied it toward the purchase and recommended a product similar to what I ordered to try for next time (it's called CQ - I like beverages!). Petra also explained the new $2.95 charge when you use a debit card (plus an ATM fee likely charged by my bank as well), so I might be paying in cash instead moving forward. First time MedMen customer and I'm sold! The amazing Tasha walked us through all of our options based on needs and we unexpectedly walked out with a bunch of different products all based on the incredible depth of her knowledge and recommendations. To sum it up: overpriced, misleading %'s, horrible staff.  One of your door girls with neon colored fingernails cursed my gf out then proceeded to try to fight her LOL. Called the manager and even she had to hold her own employee back. Never coming back here again. Very unprofessional.

Lauren really knows her stuff and was very helpful in explaining the minor effects differences due to terpenes. Her rec for The Woods and the Lemon Meringue live resin pen was spot on!

I only have one gripe about MedMen. Not sure if this only applies to the DTLA store, or all of them, as I've only been to the DTLA one for the first time on Saturday. My gripe is that they accept debit cards but they did not tell me that using my debit card is equivalent to using an out-of-network ATM, so I got charged an extra $2.50. They should have let me know about this charge.

Today was my second visit, bc my husband and I came across a new brand that we love. MedMen carries it. I think every single employee greeted me and asked if I needed help. I knew what I wanted, but appreciated them. Santiago was my cashier and he was Awesome!!! I took away a star bc of no parking, and paying to park makes the experience pricier. It's LA.... I get it lol. The other thing is, they should let you know when it's cash only at the door. Standing in line for the ATM, plus the charge to use the ATM was a bit extra. I just come here for the CBD gummies but I love this Apple Store Of Weed!  All the employees are super helpful and friendly and it doesn't have that shady feel that the other dispensaries have.  It's fast and easy and clean!

I really enjoyed my visit recently. The place was clean and easy to guide through. The display cases helps navigation and is very clear! Alex helped me and was very helpful and knowledgeable with the product. With his help I found my new favorite Sativa strain! Come thru  I was also told the edibles are  so I'll be back soon !

Wow! I'm blown away by the layout of this place, the staff was very knowledgeable, Taylor D helped me finalize my decision, I had so many questions! I rarely smoke but wanted to try it out for recreational purposes. Definitely recommend this place for the knowledge and customer service!

Horrible!!! I purchased four boxes of [statemade] brand pre-rolls because they were out of the brand i normally buy. They are horrible. Right when i opened the box i could smell a turning oxidized smell. I tried them anyway and they taste horrible and won't stay lit. I called to ask if i can return the other three boxes i didn't open and the guy i spoke with Miguel told me there is a no returns or exchanges return policy and he was also condescending and rude.  I only go there as a last resort anyway but now I'm never going back. Spent 372$ to get for horrible product and horrible service

This store is like an Apple store but instead of electronics, you get marijuana :) Staffs were very friendly and helpful too.

The chicquest experience I've ever had at this type of establishment, for sure, but you pay the price for Apple-esque ambiance. I'm immediately turned off by the fact that there are no prices on anything, and even with a 40% off section, the taxes really add up. Can't blame them, exactly, because this is what we voted for with recreational legalization. Definitely renewing my prescription to save some $ on tax. What I can blame them for are the two joints I bought with poorly designed filters that fell apart while in use. Couldn't really get a good drag on either one, really a rip off. I'm really into their great selection of topicals/oils, but I would buy flowers elsewhere.

I usually go to this location. I went on 11/29/2019 to see the Black Friday deals. When I inside, there were no attendants to assist me with being guided throughout the store as i would experience any other visit. I overheard another customer say "this is the $5 table" i ended up purchasing 2 disposable vape pens for $5 each. When i got home to try out my purchase, both pens didn't work. When i called to see if i could get a return or exchange. I was told that all sales were final & i could purchase another pen. This experience makes me think twice about being a valued customer of MedMen in the future.

Paris was so patient and kind. I was hurt in Afg and have so many chronic pain and sleep issues.  This place saved my life!

My first time ever at MedMen and Seline and Michelle were the absolute best. That drive from Texas to LA was definitely worth it! I will be coming back on the next trip for sure.

My first trip was fine, but there are a lot of other stores that sell CBD gummies that have parking, don't require you to get hassled by homeless people on the hike you have to take once you find a spot, and where the staff might actually tell you upfront that their debit system isn't working instead of trying to tell you to go to some ghetto place next-door to use their ATM.

Yes I would like to first say this place should recieve negative 5 stars for poor customer service an just plain good buisness ethics. I came all the way from Oklahoma to LA were i was recommended by afriend to try out this dispensary. I was not served for 20 min because this company has no training in regards to any other idetifications beyond the kind they see on a daily basis. First i was told rudely that they never herd of the Shawnee tribe or a tribal ID. Then they proceeded to interrogate me because although I may not have the complection there accustomed to seeing on a indigenous card carying citizen thats the only ID im legaly required to carry. So I chose to leave an take my business else where. I write this to for worn anyone else before there socially profiled by a buisness were we spend our Hard earned cash. Don't waiste time or money were its not appreciated

I felt very welcomed as soon as I  walked in, very down to earth staff. Everyone had a smile and were very helpful. My man Sheldon (employee #3319) hooked it up for me, gave me the best recommendation for my taste.

Haven't been to a Medmen in 3 years, went back in to pick up some gummies one of my friends had recommended to me. I not only found those gummies, but a bunch of other things that were exactly what I was looking for. Shoutout to Elizabeth for being super helpful and making me a lifelong Medmen customer.

Madden online order for delivery, the autofill on my computer filled in the wrong name that did not match the ID and all the ID information had to place so because the profile name did not match the ID name they said I had to make a new profile to honor the delivery even though they already charged my card over $150, so I had about five minutes before the cutoff time and the employee still told me I would have time to do it and that that's what I needed to do, I corrected the name and submitted the profile exactly at 9:15 and because they stop delivery service at 9:15 they would not honor it and less it had been placed at 9:14 I guess? The guy was really rude worst delivery experience ever the manager was no help and they did not care oh, I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Space is modern. Packaging is neat. Employees are nice. Location is convenient​. But goddamn the prices are expensive. You'll get high-quality​ products as long as you're familiar with them. I like their gummies and pre-rolled blunts. I recommend​ trying a few things out before buying a big bulk.

Just had my first visit to Medmen and I was assisted by the lovely Kai (think that's right). She was very helpful and although they did not have hardly any Stiiizy in stock I bought some delicious flower and a vape pen. It's very local to me and they have a very wide range of products. Tip, I've seen mega queues at the weekend evenings.

It really is like an Apple store. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They didn't push me to buy anything just to make a sale. My boyfriend wanted to buy some cannabis tea that was around $90 and the guy helping us actually suggested he buy a few individual packs first to see if he liked it. I also wanted to buy an edible and another staff member steered me away from it because I told him I had a bad experience. He suggested an alternative instead. I'm curious how the other locations compare. This one had great service.

It was supposed to be my first visit but, they wouldn't accept my DMV proof that I am awaiting my replacement identification, and I do have my photo on my debit card along with my social security card and other proof. Really upsets me because even Disneyland and others have accepted my proofs of ID! I'll never be returning. Thanks Mad Men! I even have my disabled placard paperwork!

MedMed is a good dispensary. The only thing holding this place from being 5 stars is the prices. But I suppose that is just part of the legalized weed industry. The customer service is great. Alex, in particular, is an excellent and very knowledgeable budtender. It's shame MedMen doesn't allow its customers to tip. It's an unusual policy amongst dispensaries I've been to. Anyways, the customer service is commendable and the product is great.

Never going back!This place used to be cool, fun and priced right.Now this place is over rated, the staff is super pushy, miss informed, and the prices have sky rocketed. DTLA 8pmI get stopped at the door and the attendant is holding onto my id for ages and explains she is "updating my profile"Im walking around and admit-tingly quite lost. Looking for CBD and CBD products ONLY. So I get approached by 2 male attendants and both seems to be just as lost as me. Yet there super misinformed... idk if they were new or what? Anyway one of the attendants finally sells me... I buy two CBD products... way over priced to say the least. I was in such a rush to get put of there bc the staff was very pushy and condescending. I walk out and notice that one of the socalled CBD only products is THC only.I walk back not even 5 minutes have passed to exchange it for the product I came in for just to be told all sales were final... oh , but I was welcome to purchase the product I needed at a discounted rate. ha HA! Just avoid this place. I feel like it really only appeals to newbies and tourists.

I found this dispensary on Weedmaps and while the prices may be a little expensive it is definitely worth it. Today I purchased from House of ounces for the first time and I was absolutely disappointed they charged me $50 for an ounce of what was supposed to be skywalker OG but it turned out to be homegrown. It was dark green with the grass mail and had so many sticks and Steams and see I literally just threw the whole bag away I was so upset so then I walked down the street To madman and got me 3 ounces oh really good weed I love this

The buds I picked up were bone dry and apparently packaged 22 days prior to purchase. Interior of the place is excellent and everyone is super helpful. My friends purchased was fresh so it might have just been that I ordered a stain that was sitting in stock for a while.

I made a 5PM visit on a weekday, I visited the downtown LA store. There were around 25 employees, all very friendly. However, I'm guessing that's why the eighth was  $82.50! So I declined to purchase.  Although the quality seemed adequate, it was difficult to inspect with their system.I will definitely not be back.I might also add that the extremely high quality of product is an absolute must for me anywhere I shop. I only buy from clean ethical growers as well. I can't get on board for the apple store theme at medmen though.  82.50 an 1/8 maybe in 1990 when good weed was rare and came at a premium. It's legal now.

Quick turnaround from order to delivery, with easy account set up and user friendly site. My delivery driver was super boss, and fun to chat with...terrible about names, but he drove the blue Bat-Mobile...had the license plate holder and rad decal sticker as proof. Definitely going to be using their delivery services again!

It is pricier than other dispensaries I have encountered but figure you pay for location & convenience since it's downtown. However it is still affordable for the average buyer. Spent way more than expected but feel it was all quality grade purchases. Good customer service, good products and good vibes. Would definitely recommend it if you are staying in the area. An upscale marijuana shop. Things are overpriced here. Literally i can buy the same or comparable edibles for way less at another shop. I came across some gummy bears here for $31.45 when I can get them for $10 or less elsewhere!

Came here with a friend since we were in the neighborhood and heard about this spot being the Apple store of marijuana. They check your IDs in the front and then you head up to their counter to share your ID and credit card again in case you make a purchase with them. They have fridges with edibles in beautiful packaging, cartridges, pre-rolls, and flowers. They have iPads for you to scan the products, but I found that difficult because every time I wanted to know the price for something, I'd have to go back to the iPad dedicated to that product. User experience wasn't very friendly in my opinion, but they had items in glass cases to showcase them and lots of different brands. Many of the items are normal range from $35+ for cartridge but they do get pricier depending on the brand. Workers there are friendly and my friend and I left spending over $160 for about 5-6 items.

Natalie helped me pick my cartridge and was the best. Very knowledgeable. I love cartridges so much they get me so good.

Staff is friendly and MOST are very knowledgeable. One rep misguided me. I didn't have my reading glasses with me, so I trusted the rep to read the bottle description for me. I ended up with a pure THC product vs a pure CBD product that I need for my fibromyalgia and other physical issues. Prices are higher than a couple of other places nearby. I'll go to this store as a backup if the other dispensaries near me are out of what I need.

Wow. Like wow. I had no idea how badly I needed MedMen in my life. We have been going to a place on Pico for a while and were unimpressed but like you're still getting weed and whatever else you need so who cares, right? Wrong. If you enjoy marijuana in any form, you HAVE to try this place. You are carded outside by security and you enter into the store after. The place looks exactly like an Apple store....but with weed!!!! It's clean, like spotless clean. It smells like nothing, which is insane considering how much actual product is there. You are greeted by an employee and they know everything. I asked one of the girls working what the best flower would be if I get anxious on certain strains and she led me to something perfect. The CBD oil I got was absolutely insane, too. It helped my pain instantly, to the point where I'm feeling weird like how am I not in pain? I can't wait to try it for that time of the month. I highly (lol) recommend this place and I will always be a customer. It's expensive but worth it. It's cash and debit only but there's an ATM in the store. Street parking only. Go there!

MedMen DTLA is fantastic.   And one of their staff members, Laura Okeze, was particularly great.   She helped me with researching different anti-inflammatory CBD products for almost an hour, answering all my questions intelligently and with great passion for finding a solution for me. Horrible delivery and customer service.  Not once did they notify me that they were only accepting  cash, even when I had paid with card multiple times before.  When I called to ask to speak with a manager about this issue, they "pretended" the that their phone service was shotty and they hung up on me.

Totally just got ripped off. Don't let the over the top packaging fool u, they charged me 70$ for what they called an eighth which is actually only like 2Gs and it's DRYYYY af. I miss UVC!! This place sucks! They try to make you think you're at an Apple Store but those are not Apple computers on the shelves, those are overpriced, stale, chem grown herb containers. Med men will turn you into a mad man. They are exactly what's wrong with the cannabis industry today. Shame on them for extorting money from people that actually need the medicine. Do not go here there are so many better cannabis dispensaries in Southern California. Med men have become just another pharmaceutical company over charging for medicine. Shame! Shame! Shame on them!

I've been to a bunch of LA's Medmen locations when I'm in town every few months. Conner, a handsome British fellow (maybe a manager), was hands down the best associate I've ever had. He was  EXTREMELY knowledgeable and very confident in finding the perfect products for me. He had an uncanny ability to explain each products' effect perfectly- almost poetically! I just tried the strain and it's EXACTLY what I needed. I'm alert-and stimulated but not manic or paranoid. I'm relaxed and patient but not heavy, dazed, sleepy or dumb. I may be in rose colored glasses- but I think I found my new favorite strain!

I went into medmen not really knowing what I wanted but my boy Sheldon was the absolute plug. After I spotted the deals section he was quick to direct me to the golden state eights. He described the high and told me that they were a must have. Then he followed to scan them up and tell me that they were 75% off. After I bought 2 I went home and smoked the best joint I've had in a bit. Perfect for my anxiety. Once again Sheldon is the man and I'm definitely pulling back up.

Have been to this location several times, generally each visit has been favorable , but not today . Checkin was smooth and pleasant as always . It was not extremely busy , maybe 4-5 clients , 4 customer service guys on the floor . Waited for someone to ask me if I needed any help ... after 4 /5 minutes I finally stop one of the as he was walking by. Ask him if they had the strain I usually get and he said no that as of July 1st that they had all new strains (new enviro laws for pot went into effect). I ask which strain would be comparable , they guy just starts to laugh, says he would have no idea and walks away ... I then googled some strains thinking someone would approach and help . A couple of employees talking to themselves . Finally picked out my strain , had to go over to an employee who was standing by a customer, not saying a word and ask him to write up my order. Was there 15 minutes, not once did anyone help or even acknowledge my presence.  Check out was quick and friendly Whoever is in charge of managing the sales floor ... a complete breakdown of customer service today.

So I purchased a bloom cartridge because they had a deal where if I spend $100 I get an item for $1. I am new to vaping and I wanted to try something in the middle so I got Blue Dream. When I tried to use it, it started smoking and there was a really off plastic smell. The oil is consolidated to one side and I can see the wick turning black after one use. I asked my friends if this is normal and they recommend that I return it. I live very far from LA and I have been trying to call the store for days now. I have left voicemails and emails, but I have yet to receive a response from both. I want to return or exchange my item so that I can have a better experience, but I can't see to get in contact with a human. Hopefully this Yelp review will get me someone that can help me. Or else it will be $60 down the drain.Update: they replaced my cartridges.

First time in LA. Staff at MedMen were extremely helpfulX would recommend to any first timers. Staff Taylor and Chris were exceptionally great.

I've been to a few other med mens and always walked away happy. The DTLA one has terrible service and selection. The employees are not helpful at all and come across as rude. I no longer go to the DTLA spot even though it's a block away.

I have been to just about every MedMen location that's open. This one was my least favorite. The location is okay for dtla as long as you're not driving. Quick process to get in. Customer service was lackadaisical. In all the other locations, the associates on the floor swarm to you like a traditional sales floor. Here, not so much. Wasn't very busy either so it surprised me. I actually enjoyed this for a change (I don't like to be pestered/ill ask questions when I have them). My reasoning for the dislike of this location was all about products they carried. Zero sativa pre rolls available.  The cheapest single pre roll with tax is $25.17I usually grab 1 at all the locations as a traditional for around $15 with tax. Big let down. All the pre rolls also had kief and other things on them. Zero regular pre rolls. Unheard of for a MedMen location.

I went to check this out, because it's such a clever concept and I had heard a lot about it and it's close to work. I would say it's just like an Apple store, but it's cannabis. I mean it's set up the exact same way. It's a big fancy place with any kind of weed goodie you can imagine. But I was disappointed with the product. I paid $56 for an eighth and it tasted really dry and stale. Like it may have been sitting in the back pre packaged for a quite a while. Maybe I'll be back to try something different, an edible or bath bomb. But I guess the place just isn't my style. I'll stick to getting my flower at the wee "mom 'n pop" pot shop where you get 4 top shelf grams for $35.

After too many experiences buying edibles from especially delivery services that were obviously fake because my 5'2" self would eat 100mg of gummies and feel zippo, I've been delighted with all my experiences at MedMen so far. Really cool knowledgeable staff for the vast most part. Mylo's a stand out. He ticks all the boxes... knowledge of products and great recommendations, passion, takes his time, just an overall cool guy. Love this place.

Very nice clean spot. Its a little tough to find but its there. You go in a door and have to go down an internal hallway. Very nice and helpful staff. Excellent products.

Lots I could say here, but I'll just recommend that this store make some of the staff adhere to the Scarface policy of not getting high on your own supply, and then ask the rest of the staff not to be so surly when you come back and ask them to correct the mistakes of the staff who are too high to do their job. Dude actually told me to "doublecheck" next time. I told him I was used to getting what I asked for. Don't think there will be a next time TBH.

Great location and THC products. Sheldon was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely comeback. However I was mildly disappointed with the selection of CBD products. Dosages are lower compared to other shops I've been to.

First of all, don't expect a budtender that knows anything. I asked for the best sativa and was offered blue dream - eye roll -. Finally found 2 decent smelling flowers and ordered them. Florida juicy fruit and red alien. When I opened them, both were incredibly old and dried out. Smelled like mildew. So disappointing since they're supposed to be the "Apple store of weed". Just a horribly disappointing experience

I had the best experience at MedMen DTLA! I was in town for a short period of time, decided to take a quick stroll around my hotel when I stumbled up Med Men. Tonya greeted me with such a genuine happy vibe, I instantly connected with her. Tonya lead me around that store like it was her home! She knows her stuff! I asked her an annoying amount of questions and she popped out answers with the quickness. Tonya asked all the rights questions, shared her expertise, and gave me a plethora of suggestions. I had a really dope experience at MedMen DTLA. Can't wait to come back.

They have lots of options to choose from. Staff is friendly. I do dislike that they increased the price on the concentrates from $30 to $40 plus tax which is basically now $50. Having ADHD, this really helped me sleep at nights but now have to reconsider going someplace else. Not very cost efficient.

Wow! This store is so pro! When you walk in you immediately feel like you're in the "Apple Store" of the cannabis industry. The staff members are friendly, knowledgeable and the customer service is impressive. The CBD product selection is broad and the Flower options are a plenty. Each flower is in a container with magnifying glass to inspect and the descriptions are on iPads. I'm very happy to have MedMen in my neighborhood. My new one stop shop!

Went here for the first time this weekend. There was a line to get into the place but wasn't too bad. Once inside there was another line for check in if you're purchasing, basically to scan your ID. The place is well put together. Reminds me of an Apple store. Prices are a bit expensive. Overall the experience and store was pleasant.

If you guys have never been to a MedMen location it is a must. They are the apple store of dispensaries. Super relaxed atmosphere with clean cut  displays. Everything is so easy to find and they have iPads with descriptions of every product. My favorite purchase was the Heavy Hitters disposable. $20 price point and man that thing hits. Must try!

Great place to get what you want friendly helpful staff including Karina. Lots of different products to select from

I feel incredibly ripped off. Med Men charged me $314 for 17.5 grams whereas another dispensary charged $187 for 25 grams. I purchased very similar products at both stores. The average price per gram at Med Men was $18, while the other dispensary charged $7.50 per gram. This 140% price increase is outrageous and borders on extortion. I could have saved myself $184 had I gone to a more transparent and fair dispensary. The only minor justification for their prices is that their store has an aesthetic similar to the Apple Store. Med Men uses iPads, glass cases, wooden tables and meticulous product organization which gives the feel of being in a luxurious, innovative environment. Unfortunately there is nothing special about their product aside from its visual embellishments.

The experience she provided was unmatched to anyone I've met, she deserves a raise! Not only was she knowledgeable about all the products, Kyra had a bright personality. It was evident that she cared because she practiced patience, understanding, listening, and projected passion for others being able to benefit from using cannabis. She actually inspired me to do better at my job and make the best of being there. If you go, ask for Kyra and put in a good word! I'll be back just because of her.

Wow! I have never been so disrespected by a business before!!! I was cursed at and called cruel names by the front attendant and security guard as I was leaving because they didn't like that I waited for my partner to Initially get checked in. Then after being sworn at, was barred re-entry to try and let the managers know that their employees hit a new level of disrespect. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Do not shop at this dispensary.. the Prices are over taxed unbelievably high. They're basically the "Upscale" style dispensary but the weed isn't even THAT GOOD. $75.00 for an EIGHTH!!? Are you kidding me!? To top it off they don't even sell papers or anything to Roll with. DO NOT SHOP FROM HERE

For the first time, my sister and I went to MedMen on Friday, May 10th around 2:00.  I'd been super excited because a few people had told me how great, helpful and knowledgeable staff were.  I walked in and wandered around for a while with no on asking if I needed help.  Two staff people were standing around talking and noticed me but didn't offer help.  So, I went up to the short guy with a beard.  He was not helpful at all and basically half-ass pointed in the direction I should be looking for what I wanted.  I walked away and started searching on my own but I had questions and did NOT want to bother the short guy who definitely didn't want to be bothered with helping.  When we left, I mentioned it to my sister saying that I was surprised because I had heard such GREAT things about the service at which point she told me she had the same issue with the same guy and even told his colleague "your friend isn't very helpful".  This is not what I expected and do not plan to go to this location again, even though it's the closest to me.  I might try one of their other locations but I was EXTREMELY disappointed with my first visit to MedMen.

Very awesome establishment front front door security to the receptionist. The store itself is mind blowing the product selection is wide from flower to edibles to creams and pet products the staff inside were very helpful came right over and assisted me too the fullest extent. You should tell whoever is in charge of medmen security to relax. It's not like putting the guards on edge will give us a better experience in the shop. Any other shop I go to the security is posted on the wall or in a chair. At ease! If they are chill I know I can chill. If that makes any sense.

When I was a wee teen, a joint was a part of my daily diet.  As I have gotten older, my experiences with it has sadly changed.  No longer does it have the effect it once did.  Now it's all anxiety and panic attacks.  So now I just stick to martinis.  My husband on the other hand never even once smoked, ate or breathed the stuff until... 2 years ago he was diagnosed with a rare infection caught by a damn mosquito in south east Asia when on a project.  His symptoms were severe.  Exactly the same as rheumatoid arthritis.  Swelling of joints and excruciating pains in the morning.  It was awful to watch.  Dr after dr couldn't figure out what the hell was wrong until quite accidentally, one dr was at a lecture on infectious diseases and bingo...  we have a diagnosis.  Pill after pill, nothing was helping his pain.  In fact,  it made his health worse.  His immune system went to crap.  It's so hard to watch someone you love, go through so much pain and not be able to do a damn thing.  That is until finally he took the advice of his dr and decided to try medical marijuana.  With a combination of CBD oils and  both psychoactive and non psychoactive marijuana, his pain has decreased exponentially and after a long time, the swelling is finally starting to subside.  This is 2 years of hell for him and 2 years of helplessness for me.   MedMen has been a godsend for us.  Walking distance to where we live and the best and most knowledgeable service you can ask for.  For people like my husband that are not quite the connoisseur of such things, it's great to have someone professional walk you through it without making you feel like an uncool old fart.  Not that he is.  He's actually the coolest cat I know.  It's still cool to say "cool cat", right?  Right???

I just got back from MedMen and HAD to write a review! I've been a loyal customer since it first opened and am so happy that the store is located here in DTLA! Not only is the store challenging bias beliefs of people that use marijuana, but the employees are also very helpful and friendly. When I was checking out, I was telling an employee how much I love MedMen and he gave me a free tank top and t-shirt! This honestly made my day!! I wish I had caught his name (tall, male, red hair) so that I could add it to my review and thank him again! The staff is always very knowledgeable and is able to pull from their own experiences which I really appreciate.The only thing negative thing I have to say is that sometimes the ratio of employees to customers can be a little high and multiple people approach you asking if they can help (all within a short time frame). None the less, I will always be back due to the friendly atmosphere. I love walking into a store and seeing that the employees are all passionate about what they are doing/selling and the cashier/employee did just that today.

Wanted a convenient location to grab some CbD products that have been great. Place is super clean and well designed. Polite and helpful staff. Breaks the mold of the typical dispensary and makes it far more consumer friendly and streamlined.

Let me preface by saying that I think this is one the nicest dispensaries I have ever been to.  However, their system of taking your ID when you get in is inefficient.  We went in on a Friday night.  They took our IDs which we were supposed to get back when paying.  I spent over $200 and they only brought back my wife's ID.  We were in a hurry to meet some friends and totally forgot about mine.  I noticed the next day and knew that I never got it back.  I called to verify and was told they had it.  I don't live in the area, so it was a definite pain to get it back.  I had to wait until Sunday since there was a dumb march downtown on Saturday.  When walked into the store, the person behind the counter pulled out a stack of about 20 IDs.  Clearly.....this happens often.  I take some blame since it's my ID.  Put up a sign at least to get your ID before leaving, OR have the guy at the front door remind customers when leaving.  This has got to suck for those visiting from out of town, out of state, or even from overseas.  What made it even worse was that the employee didn't even care.....zero @#@# given.  An apology would have been somewhat nice.

The folks at MedMen are great, and Michelle in particular. She helped me with an issue, was knowledgeable, helpful and thorough. Thank you, Michelle!

davin was quick to help out as soon as i walked in. i already knew what i wanted when i walked in. he tried to tell me some other options and did exactly what his bosses said. as soon as he realized I came in for one reason, he got the picture and quickly checked me out. I was happily in and out of there within 10 minutes

Cool and simple layout when you walk in, as well as friendly and welcoming employees. They had some great strains, some a little more on the pricey side. I pretty much recommend most MedMen

The vibe of this shop is super cool if you're looking for technology! It was difficult to find a "person" to take our order as you cannot order from the "cool" ipads you use to self-answer any questions you may have. They did not have a good selection of wax products and they are extremely over-priced!

This place was great it felt like a weed target. I'm here on vacay and the person that helped me was very helpful. I got the cookies and medon mouth for an 8th and it was nice and potent. I felt the effects immediately

No prices listed on any product, prices are so ridiculously high it's a shame. It's sad when people still need this for medicine and the prices are like this.

Wish I could give it 0 stars. Place is ridiculous!! Talk to the people with over a 500 order before 7pm and get a confirmation that my orders been prepared and ready at 7:50. I asked the girl that I talked to and she said it would be here by 9pm. I call around 9:22 to let them know our house is hard to find and is up a hill. Then Jill? Or Justin or some stupid guy continues to tell me that I may not even receive my order. I'm a medical patient so I actually need my meds. I made that very clear. I was told 2 people were ahead of me at 9:20 when I called. If it takes so long for the delivery drives to get around make a limited mile radius so their not driving 20 min to every persons house. I just feel like I should've been taken care of more and been more of a priority. Like every other customer should. Doesn't help when you ask to talk to a manager to help you and get left on hold. Literally fuck you whoever I talked to you're trash. And fuck this place you guys are never getting my money cannot believe you'd treat customers like that.

MedMen DTLA is like nothing I've ever seen before. It's like walking into the Gap in the 1980s or an Apple Store today - clean lines, blondwood tables, and new items waiting to be discovered at every turn. There's CBD, THC and everything in between, in the form of edibles, tinctures, balms, vapes, flowers, pre-rolled singles, pre-rolled packs, sodas, juices...the list goes on, and it's an amazing journey into the possibility of science and marketing. The only negative is that there's no price tags on anything - but a staff member informed me that pricing is against the law, which is existentially hilarious when thought of in relation to laws surrounding marijuana. So now pot is ok but pricing is out?! Would have loved to be a fly on the state legislature wall for that one! But with all the informed and intelligent salespeople in the shop, it's only a minor disturbance, and MedMen is all sorts of awesome.

DANGEROUS AND TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. MedMed bills itself as a premium experience - an Apple store for weed. EXCEPT - staff doesn't know the product(s) and management is arrogant has no idea how to address higher expectations of people paying through the nose for dope. I suffered a panic attack because I was told by staff that the CBD tincture they sold me would not get me high unless I "boiled it in water". In fact I was unexpectedly high for days (I have a child) after dosing as instructed by adding to COLD water. This was an anxiety inducing, dangerous experience. When I called to complain, staff laughed at me(!) and thought me being high out of my mind was funny. I tried to return the tincture for something less potent and they refused to take it back because I didn't have a physical receipt. Of course they record everything you buy on computers, but never mind. The package was unopened. It had their sku number tag on it, but the manager suggested I "could have found the package on the street" or I could have been undercover regulatory officer. So I called corporate; they OK'd the return. But when attempted a SECOND time, manager made me wait 15 minutes and was completely dismissive. When I pointed out she could have handed off her regular customer to someone else, but I on the other hand could only talk to her, she defiantly told me "I choose customers I want to help". I told her she was very poorly trained. When you're charging Masarati prices for weed, the service expectation and standard needs to be WAY higher (no pun intended). There are so many weed shops in downtown LA. I was fooled by MedMen's pseudo high-end promise of knowledgeable staff and premium service. Neither one was on display in either this location or Venice. That means it is a company wide problem. Don't waste your money or time here. It is not the high-end, designer weed experience promised AT ALL.

Nice and clean store in dtla. Reminds me of an Apple store for weed. Angelique helped me out and picked out some pretty good flower for me. She was very knowledgeable with a splash of taking pride in her work. I'd come back and they're fully stocked. Prices are high but I'd rather smoke clean product with no chemicals like the illegal shops around town.

Been coming here since they opened in my neighborhood.  They have continually fired staff for 2 years - which is not a long time if you have a business.Every person who I have ever encountered here up until last week was awesome.   Now, they YET AGAIN fired everyone.   When I walked to the store the other night, I was very confused about what was going on.  Was told in a very rude, hostile and AGRESSIVE manner that whether I liked it or not there is a new staff and I can come there or not.  My state issued ID was not valid???  That makes no sense, it was issued by the DMV and is valid and is also taken by every other dispensary and government owned place in the state.Given the amount of turn over and now that this place has 17 year olds who don't know the laws and running the place, I'm never coming here again.

If you're looking for a dispensary to go to look no further. They have such a large selection of items you will have a hard time choosing. I ended up buying way more than I planned because everything sounded so good. The employees were extremely helpful and made choosing way easier. 10/10

I've ordered from MedMen multiple times and have always had a really great experience.  But I've had a recurring issue with my rewards program and nobody has ever been able to figure out what's going on.  I had an order delivered tonight and Victor took the time to figure out what was going on and found a solution to the issue.  He was incredibly friendly and super helpful!!!

Personally hate the layout of the store, was my first time trying to shop here and there was ABSOLUTELY no help. I asked for help and basically got told to get what you want and go to the register and checkout. Customer service sucks which is why there's a lot of "Now Hiring" signs inside. Parking is non-existent!! Just go to Stiiizy or The Cure Company at least they service you and have parking!! This place is garbage and not worth the headache being in downtown.

Simply put, MedMen is the Apple Store for cannabis. It's beautifully organized, allows debit transactions and lets customers inspect and smell each strain. It is, however, approximately 15% more expensive than competing DTLA dispensaries like Amuse and CCA. Is it worth it? For clearance sales and last minute curbside pick-up orders, yes. For everything else, you're better off consulting WeedMaps.So why three stars? While the service is friendly, I'm not a fan of MedMen's house label products. Their popular GG4 vape cartridge is cheap but underwhelming, as are their pre-rolls. If you're looking to pinch pennies, stick with Pacific Stone flower and Heavy Hitters cartridges. Otherwise you might get less than you paid for.That being said, MedMen is great for hands-on shopping, displaying each strain in a tethered plastic box. They also have a remarkable selection of edibles and cannabis beverages if you're hoping to spice up your delivery meals. Given that it's one block from my apartment, I'll no doubt continue to patronize MedMen, although they have yet to steal my heart.

The website showed gummies buy 1 get second for 1 cent. My wife ordered online. She called later in the day to request curbside pickup and was told curbside pickup was discontinued. My wife told them that I would stop by the following day to pick up.  She was told they would need to cancel order and we would need to order again the next day. She was also told the promotion would continue the next day. When we ordered online the promotion was no longer being offered. I called to explain what happen and was told I would need to speak to manager. They took my info but no call back. When I went to store I was told the promotion had ended. I explained what happened. They apologized but would not offer promotion pricing. Not happy that the curbside pickup was discontinued. And not happy about not getting the promotional pricing.

Whenever I fly into Los Angeles (prefer flying into here than San Diego) I always make a stop here. Love the selection and the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. I don't use MJ almost ever these days but I've been curious about this place for a long time after I heard they generated the most revenue per square foot in the world, even over Apple Stores in (2018?). Amazing dispensary. Beautiful inside and setup. The inventory was almost overwhelming, but organized well and easy to understand. When I got to the register I was $0.20 short and the guy said he'd cover me. Really really cool to see employees being taken care of well enough to care about customers like that.
