Absolutely miserable customer service, the prices are high and the product is bunk. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.
I always love coming to Ike's, but today was even better, because Terrence G helped me in while I struggled with a broken foot. Dave helped out at the register with great weed, and got me out quickly! Thanks Uncle Ike's
My partner has epilepsy... so when she goes to the dispensary it's the equivalent of going to the pharmacy. Uncle Ike's has a great selection but the one in Capitol Hill off 15tg has the worst worker. The guys name is like Leonard or Lenor something like that some dark haired man who was just a complete a$$. He were in the maybe 3 min it was and he acted like everything was a pain in the ass. She had legitimate medical concerns so when we ask about a product we need someone to not only know about the product but actually communicate ANY response. He just throws the stuff on the table and nods his head. How do people like this have a job? This is why dispensaries get a bad wrap because of ignorant and lazy people who have no idea the power of their position. Or the importance of the product for some people. There is no way this guy would ever work for us. While I think Uncle Ike's is a great place .... the customer service has just completely shut it down in our mind. Your job is to just at have common curtesy, it's not hard. We are not hard to please, but clearly some people can't handle the basics.
Decent weed, hit or miss employees. 2/5 stars for me. Have been here many times, even have had friends work here. I'm writing this review because I recently went to CD to get some weed around the $50 an 1/8 range. I was helped by a guy named Ben, who didnt seem like he wanted to be working. He rushed me to purchase some K Savage, which I have had before and was happy with previously. This time, it was not near what I was looking for. After deciding to go with the 1/8th he pushed on me, I feel it is worth leaving a review to express my feelings towards my experience with Ben. I will not be returning to Ikes for some time sadly as I felt rushed and not appreciated.
Uncle Ike's is still friendly and still legal, but the flagship pot shop is now Uncle Ike's CD since the chain has opened additional locations in Seattle. This location is on Union near the Central District, hence the CD. Parking is extremely tight although turnover is high, so to speak. When recreational marijuana first came to Washington state, stores were few with limited selection and high prices. Over time, more and more stores have opened all over the state, while Ike's has grown into a much larger and complete store. I have seen this location grow like the product it sells! You must bring cash as banks do not allow credit card transactions. Ike's has an extensive variety of flowers, pre rolls, oils, vapes, and lots of edibles. THC and CBD contents are clear and easy to understand, although you should adjust for edibles. There are indica, sativa, hybrids, and infusions in many affordable quantities.Edibles are becoming much better, although do not expect a gourmet pastry. Staff are taking a big risk here, but they are just amazing really wanting to help people. Lines are usually long, but can move fast. The line wraps in front of a large display case to help you choose.Prices are high, but decent for quality and purity. It can be a little weird coming here the first time, especially from out of state, but it is legal and pretty safe. Just pace yourself and enjoy the ride!
Terrence us the best!! I'm so happy when I see him at the door. Professional and charming. The perfect combination.
Took an Uber all the way across town after finding this place on yelp! I pre ordered on their website and was notified it was ready within 15 min. I walked in and everyone was so friendly. They don't accept card but they do have an atm machine inside! I wish I had time to stop in the glass & goods store! Ugh! Next time!
Uncle Ike's never steers me wrong but I recently had an exceptional visit when Luke W. helped me out. He was super knowledgeable and had some GREAT suggestions for what I was looking for. I have worked a lot of customer service jobs in my life and have high service expectations and they're always exceeded when I shop at Ike's!!
My first time here! The security Luis was very welcoming as well as everyone else. Thanks for the great experience, definitely will be back.
Stopped by this place while I was on vacation to grab some CBD goods and I am so glad I did! There is a big shop with a lot of edible and flower options, as well as topical etc, but one of the employees appointed to the shop out in the front that carried glass goods because they carry more CBD-based products. I grabbed some CBD topical lotion for my hands and tinctures for my anxiety. The employees were super nice and chill, they even gave us free t-shirts with our purchases! Also if you're hungry, there's a taco truck out in the front too :)
I've never had a bad experience here, I get all of my stuff here. But the last time I came here was particularly great, the person taking care of me, Zach, was super helpful and had great recommendations! Thanks for being awesome :)
Great store and super knowledgeable! I also really appreciate how they're handling the whole Coronavirus situation. Will continue to buy here and trust them!
Okay.. Left a review earlier on my wrong account but im writting another one because the outstanding customer service I recieved from a young lady named HANNAH... she is awesome.
Ichabod, you are my mother's brotherYou know Mary Jane like no otherWhen I get too low, you pick me upWhen I climb too high, you help me downMy car is clean and the box is hotHey Uncle Ike ;) thanks for the pot
My best homegirl and I stopped in on July 25th. We googled the closest one and we were so glad. We had a very informative budtender also so beautiful Siham Jigre. I loved her cool button of Sasquatch giving the bird. Very cool looking shop. We signed up for points. We ended up getting 2 of Willie's reserves preroll 5 Pks. Grimace OG and I can't remember the other and ya probably know why my homegirl got the other one. Either way we were both very much satisfied. We live in Snohomish county but we will be definitely making our way back there. Thank you Siham see ya soon
My favorite in town. Been to several shops locally, but Uncle Ike's surprisingly always has everything we're looking for at the lowest price compared to the others. I'm buying for recreational purpose so I can't comment on the medical stuff, but I always find that the staffs are always consistently polite, helpful and knowledgeable. I enjoy looking at the display shelves before going to talk to the budtenders. Everything feels very organized here. There's always plenty of parking each time we come here. I have some other pot shops that I also enjoy going but Uncle Ike's will always be the first place I'd send people to before the others.
Our bud tender was very knowledgeable and made the experience lots of fun. We went in looking for edibles and we ended up leaving with some new things to try that we would not have thought of in our own so all in all it was a fantastic location to visit.
So there I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopowner and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really. But, sure enough, I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show.
Uncle Ikes, to Me, is like visiting a Cheers bar; where everybody knows your name. I have been going to Ikes for a few years now and have loved their consistency of great product AND customer service. One of my highlights of going to Uncle Ikes is seeing and engaging with Mo. Mo has this cooooool demeanor about himself that I appreciate and he KNOWS what I like! I like to try new growers that produce the best indicas and Mo confidently suggests the best and produce the FINEST! He's always been on point about his choices and he knows the product!Next time you're in the CD and are wanting some good smoke, good people and good product...be sure to ask for Mo. He'll do you right!!
Impressive variety of flowers, edibles, and accessories. Even as a California dispensary regular, I have never seen so many different marijuana products in one store. The interior is spacious, with walls of products displayed in glass cases. Upon entering, staff will check your ID, and then hand you a menu. I could have spent hours looking at this menu-I think it was around 11 pages! While browsing the countless goodies, you enter a queue, and wait for the next available bud tender.Uncle Ike's seems to be constantly busy, but the wait was only a few minutes. Our bud tender was very friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to make suggestions. Prices were affordable-spent about $90 on what was cumulatively a quarter gram of top shelf hybrid and indica. Edibles are sold only in 10mg serving sizes, but they sell multi-packs which is not only helpful but affordable if you require a higher dosage. This location also accepts credit cards! Definitely a top choice for all of your weed needs.
I always get my stuff from here. Everyone is always super nice and willing to help you with any questions. There's literally no other place I go
Caveat: I'm not into pot. It's a personal preference thing. But if I did, me thinks that I would frequent Uncle Ike's. It's like futha-muckin' VEGAS when you pull up in their small lot. I almost reconsidered in that split-second but I don't need a substance in my body that convinces me to have second breakfast- dinner- lunch -- as my body makes a chemical like that all by itself.Cash-only, one part of the building has space dedicated to only your pot-using sundries: pipes, bongs, etc. And the main store is full of people that are ready to help you with questions. Their menu is a little overwhelming but I'm sure if you're confused-looking enough they're going to a) ask if you need anything or b) ask what you've been smoking. Are the prices reasonable? Who knows but judging from the amount of people inside (they even have a doorman to monitor the number of people inside the store at one time) I would say that it's probably decent.Plum (food truck) was also outside in the parking lot, ready to help you with your second breakfast- lunch...Well-played, Plum. Well-played.
Thank you for not serving me (a customer of 1.5 years) great policy change. manager talked to me like I was dumb and in the wrong. Thanks
I had bought a vape cartridge with a leak in it........after being a regular of at least three visits per week for over a year.....I brought this leaking vape cartridge back into the shop with the receipt and packaging as described by their return policy and was told no. I brought it to the attention of Ian Eisenberg the owner of Ike's and he promptly cussed at me and accused me of trying to extort money from him. After going back and forth he said he would give me a 20% discount on my next purchase to make up for it. I explained to him that with a 20% discount I would have to spend 200 bucks to get a 40 dollar discount to make up that forty bucks I lost from a cartridge he should have replaced. He then tries to completely misconstrue this and accuses me of trying to extort $200 for a vape cartridge that was only worth 40 bucks out of him...How does that even make sense? I have evidence in writing that he was lying because all of our communication was done through emails and messages on fb. I showed the emails and messages to optimum extracts, the supplier of that vape cartridge. They said they were in disbelief and did not know what to say. They said they were so sorry that he would treat me this way. They apologized on his behalf and sent me a refund.
This place was amazing! Exactly what we are looking for!The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful! We will only go here!
Great customer service. Great specials. Nice vibes.
Great weed, pipes and prices. Employees are super nice and helpful. Love the pipe I got. If you buy weed first before going to the glass shop they give you 10% off your purchase so that was cool
Dalin was amazing! Helped me navigate getting my medical card, he has so much information. Also just LOVE this location!
I went to this store last night. I had placed a pre-order earlier in the day, had some errands to run, stopped by a few hours later and given the wrong merchandise. I pre-ordered something online, received a text message that my order was filled, and was given the wrong merchandise. How does that even happen? This is the second time in a row this has occurred to me at this particular location. DO NOT PREORDER!!I order an eighth, two single grams of different strains and a gram of term sugar. Total cost should have been about $90. The guy rings me up and quotes me $66. I just pay and leave. I say to him, "$66?" Somewhat confused because I vaguely recall what I ordered. And he says $66. I go outside and wait in my car for a minute, thinking. Then I check what he gave me and I realize I've been sold 3 grams instead of an eighth and 2 grams. What's worse is that the strains are wrong. Hmm. 2 mistakes in a single order. What are the odd's of something like that? I feel as though they're trying to get rid of certain product...Only business in the world that will down sell you though. Most places try for the up sell. I go back in to set this right. I end up having to speak with a manager because any sort of return is going to take five minutes with this type of product. The manager pulls my order up and I explain what's happened. He pulls some stuff of the shelf and and asks me if what he has gotten is correct. I glance down and say, "Yes, but I ordered the platinum cookies from lazy bee in a gram, not the grandmas Anderson's cookies. Same farm, different cookies." I try and make light of the situation. Because the manager is even confused it would seem and cant even fill my order. I get a full refund, and then rung up again. I get no discount. Thanks, I just wasted my time correcting your mistake, which took me extra time in life, my time is worth money, my time is valuable so I should be given a discount. It was your mistake. Manager said I got double points though, first guy dint even bother to ask for my phone number for my points. So no, I got single points. Curly blond haired kid was the first guy. The line has grown five deep, people are wondering what's going on. Oh, Seattle so patient. I get out of there. I return home to find that I was sold a gram of Grandma Anderson's cookies, not the platinum cookies I had ordered. From Lazy Bee. I STILL DID NOT GET MY ORDER FILLED. EVEN AFTER GOING BACK IN AND CORRECTING THE MANAGER!!!!!%5 off of a pre-order they can't fill is pointless if they cant get you want you order. Ian, problems twice in a row of this magnitude, would you return? Check your returns for $66.90 and then check the following order. I'm not making this stuff up. I wish I was.
I usually don't post reviews but today my experience with Siham made me feel like writing one. She was incredibly helpful and a joy to be helped by.
This location is unfortunately not better than any other Ike's locations, all of them suck. I've given this place a few tries, and each time was a huge disappointment. On one particular occasion, I went in with a migraine. I have the sense to not ask for medical recommendations anymore, as budtenders often have to have specific credentials to do so. With that in mind, I don't expect a budtender to slander the medical industry and medical patients in response to my attempt at small talk. I mentioned how I missed the medical days of marijuana and the budtender said "it's not like med weed was better than what we have now, that shit sucked and it's not like patients were actually 'medicating' ya know?" I felt incredibly disrespected and incredibly dissatisfied with how Uncle Ike's not only responded to my complaint but responds to negative feedback from other customers as well. Outside of that, I hate the way that I felt rushed here. It's like they couldn't get customers out of there soon enough. Skip this place.
Uncle Ike's Pot Shop is super cool and Tiffany the person that was helping me was so friendly and knowledgeable. She helped me find the exact topical CBD cream I needed. I appreciate her patience and expertise
Was a regular for a long time, got burned like in the horror stories you here about with this brand. Got some BUNK product for $30 - went back to let them know and they were condescending and unprofessional. Go to literally any other pot shop in the city... this place ain't worth your money, time... anything.
One of the best reviewed dispensaries in Seattle!Parking here is easy & free, they even have their own parking lot. They have 2 stores: weed & supplies to enjoy your weed. They sell some of the cutest & unique pipes! I am a huge fan of Adventure Time & they had some with the characters faces on them. For the weed store, they sell every form of marijuana you can think of. From pre-rolled joints, to flowers, to edibles, to hash, you name it. The flowers are very pricey though!Cookies & Cream Indica: 1 gram cost me $19! So expensive! Not that dank compared to what is grown in California... It did make me feel like I became one with my pillow when I fell asleep haha.
Horrible service they have good products but they also stock stuff that raises an eyebrow. Their glass shop is dope tho they carry a wide range of products and seems well stocked.
Service is about a 4 if you get a female budtender, they are a bit more pretentious. . The dudes are usually pretty chill. But they all seem to know their stuff, if you ask them what they recommend as far as what you're looking for. Their prices are fairly decent too compared to other places outside of the Seattle area and they have the best selection, and an abundance as they are the top grossing cannabis shop in the state compared to the other shops. My boyfriend is pretty well versed with cannabis so I trust his knowledge. He loves cannabis, and would smoke anything, however, he does have great taste when it comes to middle/top shelf stuff. He usually tries to avoid the lower end, and there are some within a decent price range. I just love coming here, getting our "medicine" and then heading over to the glass shop that shares the lot with the cannabis store and get 10% your purchase and a free $10 car wash at the place next door. They are doing some construction on their street so parking is a bit challenging, if you live near by I suggest using Uber or Lyft (go on uncle ike's website, they have a promo for lyft) and or use the bus.
As an out-of-towner from California where cannabis isn't recreationally available (yet...), this place was a blast to see. Uncle Ike's is LIT!!! Literally, from the sign just outside, you can't miss this place. It's so fancy there's a building for glassworks and a building for the products of interest. We went into the cannabis shop first where it can feel a little bit pressurizing to know what you want and order and get out due to the set up of the store to be like the DMV. Luckily there wasn't too much of a line behind us. The menu was definitely helpful however overwhelming if you're just there to look. They definitely have a lot of different products and the budtenders seemed helpful but we didn't end up getting anything there (just yet...).The glassworks shop was more on the lax side. The guys in there were pretty friendly and let us do our looking. Those pieces are definitely something to look at. So cool! So pretty! They also have cool magazines and little knick knacks like stickers and rolling paper. I thought the stores were both really nice and clean. Be sure to pay a visit if you haven't been there before.
Has some of the nicest staff and great quality things. The willies reserves are my fav edibles and they are quality. This is my new spord
Budtender King was awesome. Great service and selection! Friendly shop. We will be back! Love the airopro selection
I used to think Ikes was killer for price and quality but over the last few months I was schooled. Some pot shops cherish their medical patients and some don't.I used to drive up to Seattle and take advantage of Ike's great prices...the problem is that those prices are not so great any more. I can drive a lot less miles and get CBD products for a substantial savings over what Ikes would charge. I don't know why Ike's is so greedy but until they get competitive I won't be back. Ikes currently wants $36 for Flow CBD gel, I got it for under $25 in Lacey. And it is even less if you have a medical pot card and even cheaper if you buy on Wednesday when they have a senior discount for those over 55.Any one that benefits from CBD products really should head down to Lucid in Lacey where they won't be gouged on price.
i've been coming here for a few years now but will not be supporting ikes anymore. security guard is a power nazi who turned me away with a horizontal real california ID, calling it fake, not able to cite any other reason than "it feels fake" and then literally tries to fold it in half... i kid u not. i say: dude isn't there like a magnetic strip on the back? can u pls not? he told me: "this is how we check all IDs" right LOL ben the night manager called me back in after i complained and then did absolutely nothing. mate can u just not waste my time/gas if you're just gonna stand there.immediately went to the reef. chill dude at the front just scanned the barcode on the back (with omg real technology! ) and waved me in. like always. like it should be. cuz it's a real ID homes. the reef is way better anyways! go there!!
Hannah was the sweetest and she was very knowledgeable and patient... really neat spot
This is the worst cannabis shop/dispensary I've ever visited, and I have been all over the country to various shops and dispensaries. It's an extremely rushed , pressured experience and the budtenders have a haughty attitude which is completely unnecessary.Additionally, their prices are too high and all of the flower I've gotten has been poor quality: dried out, crumbly and poorly trimmed. This shop is definitely out for your dollar and they're not ashamed to broadcast their attitude about earning a quick buck through their poor service, assembly-line experience and substandard product. Go nearly anywhere else in the Seattle area for a more positive experience!
There are a lot of pot shops to visit and the only reason I chose Uncle Ike's is because of their online menu. The other pot shops I researched list what they have but not what they do. I really liked the fact that I could read about the different affects of the various strains before I went in to the shop. I'm relatively new to the whole weed-thing so I am trying different things. I know that most places are very helpful in answering your questions but imagine going into a shop and saying 'what do you have?' when there are hundreds and hundreds of different types of flowers and tinctures and pre-rolls and edibles and drinkables, etc. At least I could narrow it down before going in and my questions were more specific. The only reason I didn't add that fifth star was because the first time I went in there was one other person in the shop but all the other employees just looked at me. No one asked if they could help me or said hello or even acknowledged my presence and I hate that. I mean haaaate that. Customer service is key for me awarding that last star. The dude that helped me looked super bored too. I asked some questions which he didn't answer well but it did lead to the fact that I could buy pre-rolls in two of the strains I was interested in trying, which cut the cost of trying something and not liking it.I have gone back and will go back again because I liked what I bought and it was not expensive. The second time I went the customer service was a lot better too. I was acknowledged coming through the door, greeted warmly and with a smile and helped me immediately.
If I could pick zero stars for this location, I would. One would think that a location that gets picketed on the regular by demonstrators would have a chill attitude for their customers. You would be wrong. The unmitigated asshole-ishness the personnel have for the clientele that comes in is patently ridiculous. Even their other locations are completely different - these dickweeds on 23rd are one of a kind. Beyond me how they remain in business..You have choices - use them! Ponder is across the street, Ruckus is over on 15th, Have a Heart is in Belltown, Dockside is in SODO. Seriously, do yourself a favor - go anywhere else than the Uncle Ike's on 23rd. Unless you actually LIKE being treated like shit, in which case carry on..
I had one super bad experience here which the owner fixed. I usually just get whatever the budtender recommends for my specifications. it helps me to generally have an idea of what I'm looking for to get in and out if I haven't pre-ordered. The loyalty rewards system is superb and I save a lot and get points easily! Also, and probably most importantly, the people that work here are passionate about the product and it shows.
This is hands down the best pot shop in Seattle. The staff are helpful and friendly. Uncle Ike's can change the stigma that pot smokers are all grungy.
When my friend showed me this place, as someone new to cannabis, I was extremely grateful that it was my first experience! The "budtenders" are kind and know their product very well. As someone who isn't interested in smoking, I was nervous that they would treat me differently if I only purchased edibles. But, I'm so glad they proved me wrong! I always feel comfortable in the store, and they were able to talk to me in depth about the different strains in each of the brands of edibles I had tried in the past, and why they may have affected me the way they did! It's reassuring to know that not only do they know their product but they know and can explain some of the science behind it.I highly recommend the thick mints!! And obviously this shop, it's the best!
Awesome shop. Great service and pricing. Highly recommend. Wasn't sure what to get and the budtender guided us to everything we needed.
Warning: DO NOT buy Uncle Ike's disposable oil pens...bought a couple for a trip, both Sunset Sherbet. 1 of them wouldn't hit well...because the battery didn't work very well, also all the oil leaked out. The 2nd one worked, but the battery ran out way before the oil cartridge did :/ very disappointing and will never buy them again. As for the rest of the store, decent prices, huge selection.
Neat little shop, super friendly staff.Had a nice conversation with one of the door guys - Terrence - about my purple hair. Realized I forgot to introduce myself when I was about 10 minutes down the road. High five!
The selection is pretty good.ATM on site, cash only. The budtender could have been friendlier, but she did her job and hooked me up with some great prerolls and pens. The parking lot sometimes catches some sketchy vibes but overall a good experience.
They were pretty busy when we came around 8 pm. There's an ATM on the right when you first walk in and they have many variety of edibles to choose from. They also provide a menu when you wait in line. The staff that helped us was very informative and friendly. He gave us several options and so many great suggestions! He hooked us pretty well for what we spent. My boyfriend and I got 4 pack of edibles and a few pre-rolled joints. We left so happy with what we got and excited to try what the guy suggested.
Everyone who works here is so nice!! From the moment you walk in, the security guards are even so kind and funny. Especially the one with the curly hair. He's watched my car for me countless times when the parking lot was packed and I had to make up a parking spot. Seriously has saved me so much time so many times! If you see this, keep being amazing and so kind!
I was told about this store by a friend of mine and I have been looking to go to a glass shop for a while. I am a beginner and wasn't looking for anything in particular, and I asked Brett all the questions I had about products, general marijuana hacks, etc. Brett also introduced me to the beautiful piece I ended up buying, and it has been a wonderful experience so far. If I have to buy any other products or tools I would definitely return to the Ike's Glass shop and I surely hope to see Brett again because he was a great person and he surely knew his way around everything in the store. Recommendations :Go there without having a specific piece in mind because you will find a better one that you didn't know about . Go Around the afternoon time , not too busy .
What can I say..a legal weed shop..FANTASTIC.A bit pricey but worth it. They have a huge selection of product and the people working there were really helpfull.
Indeed: "the times they are 'a changing."Pleasant Security Man checked my ID. Went right in. Only one customer ahead of me. Gave me time to inhale, smell the product in the air and begin my selection. So many options!Nice guy behind the counter patiently and pleasantly answered all my out-of-town first timer questions.Supply quantity okay, but not too over abundant. Flowers seriously expensive. Edibles were fascinating. Vap pens are a very nice technological development.Got small flower and a lot of vap stuff. Bit of a learning curve on how to use the pen, but motivated to learn. Hardest part is waiting while it charges for the first time.Pen pulls a little hard, but tastes very good and does the job getting u off! Not much vapor exhaled and very little dope stink. Not 100% stink free, but no where as bad as joint or pipe hitting. All in all, a fantastic experience getting on board the legal recreation cannabis bus. Good transaction. Great product. Highly (wink-nudge) recommend.
Uncle Ike's CD is great! They have great prices, tons of sales, a nice selection of items, brands, strains and friendly staff. My fav Seattle dispensary!
Every time I come here the staff is super nice and very informative always letting me know about new products and sales. I love tho
Very impressed with the speed and selection. Daniel is well versed with inventory. Try out some new suggested strains!!
Amazing service knowledgeable staff and very inviting setting. From Cali and I'll be back #BayAreaaa
Well done Ike's - best selection and prices. Be sure to stop by The Neighbor Lady next door for a beer.
As a previously medical patient, I was really skeptical of the quality of Ike's service when they first opened. However, I find that when I ask the recreational budtenders the same question as medical budtenders ("What would you buy today if you were doing (whatever I'm gonna do)?") I've gotten the same honesty and quality bud.I can see how the line could make some people feel rushed, but I find that if I want/ask my budtender to take their time with me, they're always happy to. Amazing product selection and quality, even better staff/service.
Customer service here is a hit or miss whether it's busy or not. Been here a couple of times but my most recent visit is what changed my mind about this If I'm in line and you let your homie cut through in front of me and then tell the other customers (aka me and my friend) to move elsewhere uhhhhhhhh....... Ok. I guess I'll take my business elsewhere. Management needs to keep their employees in check because it looks like I'm not the only one whose gotten terrible customer service here. Maybe I took his tone of voice the wrong way and maybe he was stressed because of how crazy the shop got but there was no reason to give us attitude or be rude. And what the fuck if I'm waiting in line you best believe your friend better be waiting in line too like the rest of us. HOMIE OR NOT.
Not sure what all the hype about this shop is.Very expensive prices in comparison to some of the other shops I've visited. Customer was okay, not as knowledgable as I would've hoped.Asked for a Sativa and was given an Indica-dominate Hybrid instead, unfortunately I didn't notice this until I got home but I guess that's what I get for assuming the budtender knew what they were talking about.I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Good parking situation and a welcoming storefront. Definitely a plus for the out of towners who need the comfort level going in. There are two buildings, one called "Glass & Goods" and the other unlabeled as far as I can tell. You're greeted and ID-checked by an employee outside the unlabeled building, then allowed in.It's a well lit and layer out store. The system isn't super obvious, but one of the incredibly helpful and nice staff members (all that I encountered were) will explain. You view 90% of the product through locked cases, everything else sits beyond arms reach behind the counter. Once you've looked around and decided what to purchase, an employee will fetch it from the back stock room and ring you up. All staff are users and very knowledgeable about the different strands, potencies, etc.Overall great experience and very comfortable/easy. As a bonus, they have two (!!!) ATM's on site as they are a cash-only business and it definitely helps keep things moving to have multiple ATM's.
Sadly, I can't give a good review. I wasn't given the merchandise that I requested, and when I went to return it, the clerk was so patronizing it was nauseating. The place was clean though!!!
I have terrible timing with so many things: dropping bad news, remembering to eat dinner, romance ... and also moving! when I relocated to the east coast, Washington was just beginning to legalize and structure the commercial weed industry, so I was pretty bummed out to be missing in on the fun.well, I happened to stumble upon Ike's and like a dork originally assumed it was some sort of diner of sorts. WRONG! it's actually a very well organized, well staffed and clean dispensary, with super friendly employees and a very non-sketchy shopping experience overall (in case any of you feel iffy about this).I'm the first to admit I'm no pro at even knowing my likes and dislikes, but the staff didn't make me feel stupid or patronize me. they asked me some helpful questions about my preferences and found a few things to suite me. I walked out with some goodies and am definitely glad a place like this exists for people as a fantastic legal option!also just as an FYI they are cash only and my ID was NOT scanned by any devices!
I absolutely love this place and was excited to use my debit card here. The debit card company they use forces you to download an app and put your information on it before checking out. Too much hassle. Still wish there was an easier way
When in Seattle, you must visit Ike's. Like fine wine or great local beer, you should also try the awesome products being offered by Washington here at Ike's. It does get a bit overwhelming with the lines, but at least Ike's has many employees behind the counter to speed you on your way out. What I will say however, is the prices seem high (so pun intended) relative to California or other shops further out from the Seattle center. Either way, visit Ike's and appreciate what this state has to offer!
Was first time earlier today and right off I have to say I'm definitely going to put this place down as my new "go to" dispensary! Sheri is the rockstar bud tender!! I just wanted something different than my normal leaf strains I have already. She asked me a few questions and totally hooked me up on some edibles and a pre roll. She nailed it! I definitely enjoyed my day after!Talk with her and I promise you'll be taken care of!
1 star for the taco truck parked outside, ate 3 pastor tacos Sunday night and have had the worst food poisoning of my life. 5 stars for Ike's, best shop in town. Hands down!(Sorry for posting this on Ike's Yelp, could not find the taco truck...)
Best dispensary in the CD, if not the city (see what I did there?)Seriously though - great selection, great prices, and great service every time I've been in.
I love Uncle Ikes! Their staff was friendly, knowledgeable and quick. Those are the three things I expect when I walk into any establishment and they sure came through. I might also add, their branding, vibe, look and feel are on point.Thank you Uncle Ikes for being on of my FAVORITE rec stores in Washington!
The only reason to go here is cheap weed and good deals. The staff knows about the product decently, but is incredibly disorganized as far as processing orders (especially pre-orders). Their wait times are always ridiculously long regardless the time of day, and the staff is can be unhelpful and rude if you are not their "regular" customer.
I received this exact message: "Ike's Central District St Patty's Sale- Joint Supply bud, 4g for $10 & 7g for $17 Good thru 3/17/18 Reply STOP YY49 to cancel eroll.me/s/rntf9d".I went there on Saturday 17th and employees didn't know about his promotion. Then they said they "ran out of supplies"... Disappointing.
I visited a few dispensaries during my visit and this one was my favorite by far!! After you make a purchase from there shop you can go to the glass shop next door and get 15% off your purchase there. I loved the glass shop!! Theres a variety of pipes, glass, lotions, t-shirts. Also the workers there are so knowledgeable. I also loved the atmosphere here as well.
Take the four stars with this caveat: I've only been to two recreational marijuana retailers and this is the second. The Pot Shop and the Glass Store are two different things, albeit in the same location. PROS - Pot Shop:Great location, easy to find. Selection appears to be incredible.Efficient operationPROS - Glass Store:Good selection. Friendly staff. CONS - Pot Shop: Felt kinda rushed, and kinda like the staff was rushed. Granted, it looked like we got there right at the beginning of the the lunch rush. Also looked like they were getting ready to shoot a commercial or something, so that could've added to the urgency of the atmosphere. CONS - Glass Store:None, really. WOULD I GO BACK?Sure. Probably not at lunchtime, though.
If you come here, you'll probably leave with some weed. It'll be a good time for sure.
This is a garbage business, never give them your money. Besides it being terrible for the community, I personally saw the owner assault a woman of color. Fuck this place, just go to Ponder a half block away or Ganja Goddess in SODO.
Primo green. I sampled some edibles, and they did the job. Got a little impatient though, and before they kicked in I went back and smoked half a blunt....I was toast!Friendly staff, professional environment, excellent product that is worth every penny the price.
OK, don't read any further down about the prices. They are no longer ridiculous. Story time. For the first 6 months of prohibition-free Seattle, I bought one gram of product from the first shop to open (Cannabis City) just for the novelty of it. That experience was poor. Bad part of town, weird vibe, quick and dirty, and expensive. I could get a cool dude with an animal name to delivery cheap (and quality) stuff to my door with way less effort and time. Easy choice, so I used the delivery services for months. But, slowly but surely their prices went up and their minimum purchases became a little crazy, and their drivers stopped coming to your door, instead waiting for you in their car, and complaining about no parking. So, about a month ago, I read an article in The Stranger about how the legal stores have got a crazy amount of weed and nobody to buy it from them, and therefore the prices had plummeted. I knew Uncle Ikes had just opened in a location relatively closer to my house, so I looked up their menu and sure enough, they had some high-end types up at $25-$40/g, but there were also plenty of good strains starting from $10/g. Considering that includes a bunch of taxes, that was a killer deal. And there were no purchase minimums. So off to Ikes I traipsed, and haven't turned back since. They are very customer-service oriented and take the time to explain and help you decide what you want with no awkwardness at all. They have large televisions displaying specials, and menus (literally, like restaurant menus) are placed around for your convenience while you wait in line. The menu is updated daily both in-store and online. They have crazy good deals from a bunch of different suppliers all the time. I've only chosen a bad strain once, and it was mostly my fault for not listening to the nice girl who definitely knew better. The location is.... fine. It's 23rd and Union, which I guess some people might consider a bad part of town. But those people are mostly racists, so don't believe them. The shop itself is well-lit, has great hours, I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes, and it's right near a bus stop. They also give out free lighters. I have approximately 1 billion of them scattered throughout my house. What more could you ask for? Oh, how about a glass shop next door? Yeah they have that.Go here for you marijuana purchases. Right now, it's the gold standard in town.
Legal marijuana in Seattle? ?!?! Yes. Yes it is. I said it. Haha it was awesome. The girl who helped us knew what we wanted, we paid for it got a free complimentary lighter. And that's it.
I am from California and went up to Seattle for the weekend. I took a cab from the Weston and the grand total was around $20. This was my experience:I went on a Saturday and wasn't crowded. I was in and out in 5 minutes, as I only needed a couple joints for that day. I bought two lavender joints for $10 a joint. I was in a hurry so I didn't get to look at the weed that was in the joint. I got back to the hotel and sparked up the ganja. The weed:As soon as a opened the sealed bag it was in, I knew this weed was terrible. I decided to smoke it anyways and ended up with a head ache and no high. I opened up the second joint to look at the weed more closely. What I found was disgusting, the lavender joints taste and smell terrible. I will never buy that strain again, and I suggest you examine the weed before you buy it! Not sure how the rest of the weed is, because I was in a hurry and just asked for a couple joints. I am very fortunate to live in California, so I don't have to smoke that terrible ganja. Other than that the service was great :) I hope they rest of the weed they sold there was not like the crap I smoked. I hope this helps.
This place is overrated. The selection is ok. The prices are on the high side, service from budtender to budtender is inconsistent - some are friendly and knowledgeable, others have a terrible haughty attitude and can be combative. What's the worst is the line. It's regularly out the door into the parking lot and for no reason other than slow service (lots of up selling and lolligagging). I appreciate recommendations and solid service, but damn, work your line! Serve the people who want to buy and stop pushing sales onto those who are ready to check out and leave.
Awesome staff super easy to get in and out very knowledgeable would recommend this dispo over any yo anyone any day!
Guess this is the only place we can find at round 11.30 at night. This shop is the only pot shop that open until 11.45. So that's the plus point for this shop!
Awesome service! This place is dope! We were from out of town and had no idea what to get. But everyone was helpful and informative and helped us choose some quality goods.
If you must smoke weed, this is a clean and professional space. Weed? Hot damn this joint sells mighty fine smoke at decent prices. I'd recommend you ride a bike, the traffic, vagrants, skeeze poodles and assorted riff and rafters make parking a game of thrones experience. Go there, but high quality stuffiness and get your own self baked. Brah
It's taken awhile to write this but my jeans were ruined by his CBD pills when they changed manufacturers and when I called him about the jeans and explained the situation and how I wanted him to either replace the jeans (Paige Denim) or pay to get them dry cleaned because washing them 5 times didn't the orange stain out, he said no " my jeans don't bring him money"... So here is your review Ian your customer service sucks and although you may have knowledgeable staff you're rip off. Your prices are to high and you're cheap for not paying for jeans to be dry cleaned. It was the right thing to do for your manufacturing default.... I wonder if your taxes will go up?
If I could give this "establishment" less than 1 star I would. They continuously market and sell products that are not only faulty but also don't even perform the function you purchase them to do. When/if you call them they seem too high to come up with any solution other than saying "I'm sorry" with some laborious sigh which unfortunately they think is helping. I totally get that this us a pot shop BUT there are some professionals out there that actually care about their business and not just where they will get money for their own next high. Avoid at all costs.
Bud tenders were helpful. Happy to see they check ID twice. Only thing is there was a hair in one of my sealed loose bud bags when I opened it :/ sorta gross
Update: Originally this was a one-star review. However, the owner, Ian, was very responsive to me. He contacted me immediately! I met him back at the shop and he resolved my problem. He also apologized for my first trip. I will definitely recommend this place again! Original post: I liked this store. I liked it on Facebook! However, something happened and I can no longer tell my friends and neighbors to support this small business.Earlier this month I purchased a RIF vape pen from Uncle Ike's. I paid $110 for it. I was later told by friends that I overpaid, but that did not bother me. I went with my friend, and he got the exact same product. After charging it, I tried it and noticed that something was off about it. There was not much vapor coming out even with long drags. To get a small puff I had to use all of my lung capacity. I got the vapor because I don't smoke cigs or anything else, so I know my lungs are in good shape. I had no idea if my experience was normal though, since I've only used a pen like this a couple of times before. I compared the pen to the same type my friend has, and his works much better. In fact, with a mild intake and use of my lungs I got a big puff from his pen. So big that I started coughing.I spent the better part of a month traveling, but I finally made it to Uncle Ike's today to see if they could troubleshoot the problem. I walked up to the counter, and explained what was wrong with the pen. I did not ask for a refund, and I still have not. I do not know what is wrong with the pen, so I don't even know what part to refund. At most, I wanted a replacement. I didn't get to ask for that either.Instead, the employee I spoke with immediately told me - in a nice tone - that "all sales are final" and there is nothing that they can do. I totally understand that policy for items that can only be consumed, but this is a reusable electronic product that I was dealing with. It's not unreasonable that there may be problems with electronics, and they should have a system in place to easily manage those problems or at least attempt to troubleshoot them.I was told that I need to contact RIF to fix the problem. I had to demand contact information before it was easily given to me. It took them awhile to find it. So I am glad I did not go home and try to figure it out myself. I called RIF on my walk back home, and I got a voicemail that was not even set-up. I left a message, and I hope that I get a call back.I am disappointed that a store like this would not have a more flexible attitude or more customer-friendly approach when dealing with a reasonable problem. They would not help me beyond writing a number on a sheet of paper. It would have been nice to provide me with an actual contact, or to offer to deal with the problem with RIF directly. Sure, they are very knowledgeable when you are asking questions about product. Unfortunately, they just want to avoid dealing with problems completely and are unprepared to be helpful. It is a very corporate approach to customer-service.It is a shame, because this store is a 10 minute walk from my home and centrally located around the neighborhood where all of my friends live. While I intended to be a frequent customer, now I intend to actively discourage my friends and neighbors from going to this store.
Very friendly staff. Probably the friendliest company out there! The quality of cannabis here is amazing!
Sweet layout, rad staff, and low prices! There is a lot of variety here and such a fun experience. Its very clean and open. Not like your average "smoke shop" feel at all. Lots of parking too! Just a whole new experience and worth your time!
Ike's was recommended to us by the Concierge at our fancy hotel. You know a place must be good when... right? Right! Sure, it's more expensive than we're used to back home, but worth every penny. Great place, great product.
Poor salesmanship. Went in for an ounce that I saw in their menu. Left with no green. Strange way of doing business. Do Not Attempt.
Decent selection, attentive staff, WAY, overpriced. $25+ per preroll, $100+ a 1/4, $75 per vape cartridge. I will not be going back until the prices are more in line with the Trans-High Market quotes.
Great customer service Ryan was the best very helpful lots of information very nice didn't rush me out took his time explaining all the different weeds
Whether you know everything or nothing about cannabis, Ike's is your ideal pot shop. It's classy, clean, welcoming, organized, and very well staffed. The menus are well laid out and organized, and the staff is almost always helpful and knowledge full - never the perma-stoned deadbeat vibe you get from some shops. There are always specials on cheap bud - both joints and flower for $5-$7 for the smoker on a budget, so never be afraid to skip the menu and ask what the deals of the day are!Pro tip for those who aren't picky and want the most bang for their buck - go for a box of "shake" (small buds and trimmings). You can usually get close to an ounce for $65-90. And if you're not a fan of smoking, there is a whole slew of edibles, lotions, tinctures, and everything else offered in the ever growing world of recreational cannabis. So whether you're a tourist or a regular Seattleite, Ike's is almost impossible to beat.
It was a wild fire. The leaves were blowin. Whisper into my ear and say hello. I thought i was gone. But no, there was uncle ikes little ship luring me in. I didnt like the gravitational pull towards the pot but im from the prokects of new york. I stopped at the doorstep to be welcomed by richard. Hes an unusual fellow. I like him though hes very knowledgeable with the pot. He recommended cookies i dont want to eat the pot though. I get an og strain that reminds me of the good ole days, you know. Wow the whole campus smelled it
Ikes no longer honors medical discounts with a official doctors script, time to find new weed dispenser
I am a bud-temder myself but unckle ike's is closer to my home than where I work. Anyways i thought the follwoing two, Lanesha and Timothy. They definetly need recognition for their excellent service. They are the most helpful, patient, and informant tenders i have ever encountered. Very much appreciated especially if you are a weed-snob like me . :)
So awesome so professional. The bud tenders knew their stuff. I'm going back!Thanx for ruining hempfest political jerks!
As an out of town visitor, visiting a weed shop is a special treat. Filled with, you guessed it, very special treats. The staff was knowledgeable in the product, as I could tell, they all might have tried it all that there was to offer. It felt good to have a drug dealer with a 401k and steady employment.
With a city where you can throw a rock and hit a few pot shops, I feel like Ike's is a legit gem. Folks are super friendly and helpful. Great product, look forward to visiting more.
I was treated like cattle and the sellers were very condescending and short with me. Not a good experience... I'm not coming back.
my "budtender" told me the battery i purchased was micro usb compatible, and when it actually wasn't i couldn't return it...so i had to buy a charger too! so now i'm stuck with a battery i don't want and can't get rid of...sigh. they were nice enough but their mistake shouldn't cost me money.
Siham knew what she was talking about, was very helpful, and had an amazing attitude while helping me out!
Huge variety. Helpful staff. Median prices, but if you're hunting for deals and skip this one, you're really missing out on the quality and hospitality.
I went into Uncle Ike's last Saturday for some cannabis to help reduce the nausea that wife wife has been feeling from her cancer treatment. I thought I was getting pretty good service by the way the bud tender was showing me what would be best for my wife. I was reluctant to buy more than just a trial size of some high CBT high gummies. The salesman / bud tender suggested I get her a vape pen as well. When I asked him if any of this was refundable I was told that I couldn't get a cash refund but that I could get store credit. I decided to spend the extra $30 feeling that if my wife didn't want it I could give the store credit to a friend as a Christmas present.Because my wife was reluctant to touch anything that has "intoxicating effects", she had no interest in either of the two products I bought, so I called up the Uncle Ike's store where I bought them to make sure that they were open and that I could receive a credit. What I got from the store manager that answered the phone was far from what I'd been told by the bud tender salesman. The manager told me that they only allow return for damaged items and their exchange was for the same product that was originally purchased. Don't waste your time with these bullshit shoveling scumbags, or at least be careful of their shady sales tactics.
Great experience!! Jasmine went above and beyond for me. She was very patient and offered great recommendations. I'm not a heavy smoker and she showed me some fantastic edibles. Can't wait to try the creamsicle. She made my experience a fantastic one and I will be back to see jasmine!
I generally have a great experience at this shop, but recently bought a silver disposable vape pen and had it break after a very short amount of time. DON'T BUY THESE DISPOSABLE VAPES. Started leaking on me after 2 weekends, they didn't offer ANY refund or credit despite getting maybe 20 pulls before leaking and shorting out. It's now trash. Not happy at all - get better supply if you're going to have a 10 day return policy ESPECIALLY with your brand on it.
The three stars is only for selection and quality. After being hustled 2 times by one of the associates at the counter. They get you talking about nonsense then they shortchange you. It's happened to me twice and my other friend once. If it's a must to go be cautious and watch for Montel the associate, he's slick instead of 16$ change he gave me 2 $1s make sure you check it and get a receipt they try to get you out of there quick
Visiting from Canada, my first time in an American pot shop, great experience at uncle Ike's. The staff is super pleasant and friendly, and will take their time to explain to you their different products and guide you in your purchase.
Uncle Ikes has the friendliest staff! They always know what the really good stuff is. They're very knowledgeable about the pesticides used and also know the strain makeups which is awesome! Uncle Ikes is truely the family pot store.
My boyfriend decided to visit Uncle Ike's Pot Shop last night. He said the gal working was very rude. Just because you have the best deals in town and advertise all over the place doesn't mean you should have poor customer service. So here is a big eff you to the girl working on 11/3/15 at around 8pm with the tweaker face and the aladdin pants. We will pay more to continue going to the Issaquah Cannabis Co.
I live walking distance from two dispensary's in Fremont and I drive all the way to Cap Hill, passing many other ones just for this place! Good prices for quality stuff and the staff is awesome. I've gone here multiple times and have never had a poor experience, wishing there was one closer to me!
I'm a very regular customer of this place. It's clean, it's organized, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and it's very centrally located. The staff also does a great job making every customer feel welcome, whether they are a novice or an expert in all things pot:)They have more products to choose from than any dispensary I ever visited when I lived in Los Angeles and the prices made me stop using my sources on the streets.I like any business that cares about their customers no matter how much money they're making. It's easy to care less about a customer when you know you are going to make a ton of money this month anyways. But Uncle Ike's chooses to be great to their customers no matter how much business is booming. I love that about these guys and I will be a loyal customer for the long term with them.
My favorite recreational pot shop in Seattle!! They have a large selection of products. Uncle Ike's definitely has the best prices. Be sure to ask about their pre-roll specials. They always have a 5$, 6$, & 7$ option that changes periodically
Great selection and great customer service. My friends and I went as rookies and they were super friendly and helpful.
I love coming here the employees are always so funny and helpful. It's like visiting friends coming here!!
Montez is a dream. So helpful and knowledgable. Quite the comedian as well which makes you feel relaxed and welcomed, especially since my visitation to pot shops is unwonted recently. I appreciate the consistency with which Montez delivers his customer service.
I live in Chicago so of course I had to go to Uncle Ike's when I was visiting Seattle. I've heard nothing but great things. I have only been to a few different pot shops while visiting WA and CO and I can definitely say Uncle Ike's is my favorite. They have just about anything you could need and everyone I spoke with was on top of their products. They have a great knowledge about their different strains whether it was flour, prefilled cartridges, pieces or batteries for the pens, etc. They helped us choose the right product (battery base) for us and they gave us a lot of great insight about other products. The pot shop is separate from the glass shop, btw. You must be 21+ to enter the pot shop and 18+ to enter the glass shop. They share a lot and are conveniently located to one another. If I lived in Seattle, this place would have all my monies.
Had a wonderful first time experience at Ikes shop. Our budtender Stace was so incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. She gave us multiple options when we inquired about specific products. This was the best customer service experience I've had in a long time! Cannot wait to return next time I'm in Seattle.
TOURISTY CLUSTERF**K Four stars-but I don't recommend it. I haven't tried the new location, but this one is a tiresome pain in the ass. It's over-run with noobs and tourists. This combined with the awkward set up (which looks like maybe they're about to change?) made for a very long wait in line. They do have parking, but it is usually a mess. That being said, one reason I had to wait so long was that the very patient and knowledgeable budtenders were taking lots of time to explain things to the fresh off the bus weirdos who also like to lurk outside photographing themselves with the signage. If you are somewhat familiar with what marijuana is and what you like I HIGHLY recommend you go elsewhere.
Super friendly staff. Super huge selection of weed to choose from. Super efficient set up. Super stoned.
Anonya...um I think that's how u said to spell ur name...I just wanted to let u know u are awesome. Thanks for letting us know about the laws involved with weed sales. If uncle Ike new what was best u would be there 40 hours a week with a hella raise! Keep up the good work! Will return soon...and if I misspelled ur name I will make a new comment with it corrected ;).
I'm in love with this place and Nina the best sales consultant they have. Not only do they have the best inventory but the best staff. Nina helps you find what you want and need. She knows the product well and has always recommended me to the best products there. I have been to other stores and this one is by far #1 in my book.
Went in with two of my friends who are visiting and Manny gave the best service we could ask for. He answered all of our questions and was friendly throughout! His personality combined with his dank product knowledge made him THE guy my friends want to see whenever they drop by.
tim and Gabriel are one of a kind guys. I love the respect they give members of the industry!
A great place to go for the amateur or the connoisseur. All sales people are patient and knowledgable. Products are printed on a very helpful menu. Special shout-out to Sheri, who showed us different products and answered all questions knowledgeably, patiently, and in a way that didn't make us feel ignorant. Especially questions about more....intimate products. She was awesome. These guys are great.
I never thought pot makes you stupid but most of the employees are spaced out like never before. I tried doing a pre-order 4 times. Each time they never find my bag even though its always right in front go their face. I point out where it is, and they dont listen at all. Its amazing they can get two brain cells to fire together. They also overcharged me 3 out of 4 times, by $20 - $30 because they made mistakes by having other people orders in the register. Then i need to show them the receipt right away and they refund me .. but still .. the damn price is on the bag, how do you get that wrong over and over? If you cant even pick up a bag (2 feet away from you) and make a simple transaction ... you are way too dumb for a simple retail job and should work elsewhere. Prices are also generally a rip off unless you find some deals offered.
I've tried all the shops in King County and now I Always go to this shop definitely my favorite budtenders in town. stop by and see Tyler if you get a chance the guys are real Pro, but most of their staff are top notch.
I purchased some concentrate that had some major issues and wouldn't dab properly. If you ever have any problem with a product from this shop just call them up. I believe I spoke with Calvin and he handled the issue right away. They even went as far as to upgrade my item for the trouble. Great customer service guys! Thanks again!
The people are nice but the prices are WAY too high for anything that is worth smoking I also noticed that they Only have set amounts for different types I saw so.e stuff I wanted but they ONLY sell that type by the gram no other sizes. You would think that you should be able to get as much or as little as you wish with Every strain as permitted by law . For example I wanted a half ounce of this stuff but I'd have to by it by the gram that's stupid.
16$ for crap. Smells like crap, tastes like crap. Harmony farms in the jars is crap. The sales associate recommended it highly. There's no cure and it smells like hay. I'm used to the MMJ scene where salespeople are knowledgeable and helpful. Especially when you're relying on their word instead of smell and taste.
An efficient way to pay taxes on your weed habit.
In Seattle for two days and this was the first stop. They have everything you need. Ending up trying 3 different hybrid grams, and also got a pipe for 10% off with the purchase. Also get free papers and ash tray when you buy a pipe. Perfect fast and convenient one stop shop! Will be coming back the next time I'm in Seattle
Someone said pricey. I didn't think so. Busy place, good selection, and good prices! I like IKE!
Pretty cool experience for an outta-towner. The best of the best too (: Oh, and this guy...had a good laugh!
Just left uncle likes and once again the service was great. This trip I picked up a couple strains of killer bud and some wax. I definitely recommend trying something grown by Kush Farms. The strains are always harvested within a couple months of when u buy it and that in my opinion is pretty good way to determine the quality when it's in a sealed container. Phat Panda is another one of my favorite growers and those two in my opinion are most consistently putting out a good Product. Kush Farms is the better bang for your buck but if you don't mind spending a little extra then the Phat Panda delivers a top shelf product
Bought a vaporizer from the glass shop. Got home to open it and the whole thing broke apart in my hands. Went back and tried to get my money back ( which I was refunded for the wrong weed that the guy sold me ) but according to their policy they don't refund your money. This is the second vaporizer from them that I have bought and the first one was broken straight out of the box as well. Do not shop here, they are rude and unprofessional and what's worse is that they are thieves.
They eliminated their medical discount, with no notice and without even removing the information about it from their website. The owner tried to explain that they lowered all of their prices, so they can't offer any discounts or specials anymore. However, they didn't lower their prices by the same amount as my previous medical discount. So, they've effectively RAISED the price on my medicine to subsidize cheaper prices for rec users and tourists. Unacceptable. This is the Walmart of pot shops.
This was the first time my wife and I bought legal pot. We asked the young man for his recommendations and we were blown away by his knowledge and positive energy! The weed was fantastic and the service was great. Thank you. If I knew the fella's name, I would let the management know they have a gem of an employee. Young, short cropped hair, and energetic. Anyway, Thanks!
Very overpriced. Charging more than 15 for a gram of anything should be a crime. The service guys are rude and annoying too if you start asking questions about their selection.
Uncle Ike's is awesome, was helped by an employee named Jay! friendly, knowledgeable on the products and got me exactly what I needed! Strongly recommended!
Nice, clean shop. Good variety. Open late. Friendly employees. But quite pricey.
By far the cheapest shop I have visited by far. I used to frequent SODO but after hearing about Uncle Ike's, I can't believe it took me so long to convert. I got a $27 eighth the other day, no joke. They always have specials like that. $5 pre rolls were on special last time too and it was strong! Make sure you have your ID and another side note that is if you keep your receipt and head next door to the merchandise shop and show them, they'll hook you up with free schwag.
Very nice, knowledgeable sales guy. Very large product selection. I've never had pot before and I still haven't tried what I bought, but they were $5 sample packs so no matter how it turns out, I'm satisfied with my experience there.
Friendly staff, quick in and out. Some good deals for Pride week. It pays to ask about the specials.
Meds are trash asked for their most expensive gram and it taste like shit by the company sonic green I thought it would be good using that "sonic " name total bullshit buds were harvested almost two months ago and still smelled like straight hay they robbed me 56$ for an eight I'm not from this but would never return they don't even have a menu in their store bud tenders were nice but not really up to date on seattle brands if you like being charged top Dallor for mid grade give this place a visit the strain I tried was "wappa" and I've tried the real deal this was a total disappointment and disrespect to Seattle to name your shitty b grade meds after the sonics
I've visited recreational marijuana shops from Lake Stevens to Hoquiam and hands down Ike's is the best. The bud tenders know their shit and are able to provide knowledge and lend suggestions. I always have to use the ATM because I end up buying more than I anticipate. It is just THAT good.
I don't smoke the stuff but like edibles once in a while. The budtenders were great. They gave me advice on what edibles to buy and what ones got absorbed into my blood stream the fastest and the results to expect. The cookies were great. I bought a couple bags of the hard candy to take home with me. It's discreetly wrapped so I was able to take them out of the bag and through them in my luggage. The chocolate is really good. Someone recommended the hot chocolate mix but they were out of it, hopefully they have it next time I'm in Seattle.
Loooooved it! Still don't know how Cali does not have this yet but overall great experience. The shop is great they have a lot of solutions to get you feeling great
Excellent service! Thank you so much for setting me straight and right side up again. Came in grouchy and slightly indecisive, and told the very nice and helpful man behind the counter, I think his name was John, "I need your best no paranoia, anti- asshole strains." He asked me a few quick questions and recommended two lovely cones (blueberry diesel and agent orange) and a 4 pack of Solstice pre-rolls. He was definitely spot on with those. I feel a 1000% better than when I walked into Uncle Ikes an hour ago. Thank you for your excellent recommendations and taking the time to really listen to what I wanted. I would recommend your shop to any of my friends who are visiting the Emerald City.
Had a great time here, with the sales associate Shery helping me pick out options, sharing her product insight along the way. Was in and out quickly with friendly service. Highly recommended.
Great shop. Very helpful. Great selection. Two locals told us that it was the best dispensary in town. We ended up going twice. Great shop
Budtender at the CD location tried to sell me weed that was OLD!! Harvest date was 6/2016 and it is now 2/2017. I passed and asked to see 2 other strains from 2 different growers. Both had old harvest dates and were brown as well. The budtender actually told me brown weed is good. HA!! Give me a break!! Don't waste your time with this place unless you like to smoke old weed from crappy growers who grow for quantity, not quality. Maybe things will change for the better once the current owner finally sells this place.
Being my first time I was really impressed. My assumption was a small "corner like" smoke shop. Not at all, bright store front. Open wide lot to park specifically to this shop. I can't say enough about the building and parking lot lighting. Safe, clean. Security was nice, had about 4? Maybe 5? staff behind the counter to make the line go fast (it was not that busy when I went at 7pm). I was there for edibles, but could see plenty of stuff available (look at their website for a menu, ask if they have it). In and out, good price. Happy! Will be back.
I absolutely loved this place! The staff the security everyone involved with this business is awesome!!!! If and when you're in town you have to stop here!!!!!!!
Screw this place & Uncle Ike.... Go $$$ your weed elsewhere. This place is capitalizing off the gentrification of the CD. In an area where historically black bodies were getting arrested for selling dime bags. They also sell their shit weed within walking distance of a Church and a Youth center, if this was done in a predominantly white area ppl would lose their shit. Go to Ponder 2413 E Union St - they are supportive of the community they are in!!
My happy place. Best selection and service by far. Sheri is my weed guru and she always makes great suggestions, is friendly and always happy to see me when I come in. I feel a lot less guilty going in as much as I do when there's happy people behind the counter.
There's far better places to go. I would recommend everybody try a different place before coming here.
What is not to like?! Its great to see the culture arround pot changing and shops like this coming up. I love the sizes they sell and a huge variety. The guy was super patient and nice and the greeter at the door was as well. Next time im back in seattle Ill be there for sure!
I want to know if there website have online ordering and where its located, because I'm in another state like Washington DC
Great first time buying experience. Never been to that area of town so easy to find. A "security" guy at the door so made me feel 'safe'. I loved the Disney style lines. Gave it more of a business transaction and not like I was doing something bad. The staff offered menus to everyone in line while they were waiting. Seemed to have a good selection. The guy that helped me was Super Nice and didn't try to pressure me into anything too pricey since I told him I was still new to buying on my own. Gave 4 out of 5 stars only because I don't know what a 5 star place should look like. I will absolutely go back again.
Was on a vacation to Seattle and buds and I stopped in. Very clean, safe, secure store. Friendly and patient service. All the edible products we bought we're A-OK. Just use moderation.
I never thought I would find myself buying weed from a retail store in my neighborhood... but alas, last night brought me into Uncle Ike's for the first time, despite it being 4 blocks from my home. We had awesome service from a really knowledgable associate who helped point us in the right direction as far as what we wanted. I read on here that pricing is 'rediculous'... but that actually isn't the case. We bought 3.5 grams for only $3 more than street value, and they give you an effing free lighter, so it's totally worth it. We will definitely be back soon.
First visit to a pot shop as a customer. Great selection, fair prices (slightly on the higher side) and good customer service. They don't accept cards so bring cash ($3 fee to use the ATM which is steep).
Friendly staff, good service, good product. Would deff come back
A visit to this shop is a fun education. Between the labeling and signage and 'menu', finding out what is what is easy breazy. The staff was nice and fun. The store is bright and pretty and well organized. It's easy to get to with easy parking. It's a nice nice shop.
I've been trying to make it over to Uncle Ike's for the last couple weeks and finally made the walk over the hill today, I was a little apprehensive about dodging the church ladies swinging their signs with their panties all in a twist but it seemed like they had sucked in a lil second hand chill and were pretty mellow (no spitting on me like previous customers).Inside the shop it was very clean and the employees were friendly and helpful, no skeezy headshop vibe here. Now I don't actually smoke marijuana - or anything else (lame lungs) so I was actually hoping to try some edibles. The guy behind the counter was able to answer all my questions about the different products. Unfortunately the edibles that were still available weren't quite what I was looking for but I bought some grape-scented bud just cuz ($60/2grams). Not sure if I'll go thru the effort of turning it into cannabutter or just gift it to a friend but I'm glad this shop is within walking distance from Capitol Hill. Dude at the shop said they get new stuff on Fridays so I think I try for the edibles again.FYI: This shop is CASH ONLYThey have an atm on property with a $3.00 surcharge
Very nice staff. Very clean and well organized establishment. Really helpful labeling and descriptions made the trip fun and easy. Thanks.
This place used to be good but it sold out in a major way. Yes, they have rad selection and decent prices, but their customer service has really gone downhill over the last two years. I used to frequent Uncle Ike's back when it first opened in 2014, and the store did a lot to get it's name out there as the go-to pot shop in Seattle. But ever since they've relied on the popularity of the name and they haven't been as good on the customer service end of things. I only ever hit up Ike's now if it's the only place open, since its open late. But I'd suggest supporting one of the many other dispensaries around Seattle before you give Ike your business.
Uncle Ike's is a must visit if you're looking to buy some mary jane in Seattle. They have some of the most knowledgeable budtenders on the market and absolutely some of the best prices. The only difficult thing about coming to Uncle Ike's is making a selection. They have just about everything one could ever want!
This pot sucks and you don't even get high. Nor, is the quality good. You would be best getting medical which is way more potent and purer.
Great find! I heard about this place and had to go see it for myself...it was definitely worth the trip... the people who work there where very nice and informative! The JUJU Joints (e-sticks) are a must try!!!
The doorman of this establishment did not believe that my friend's girlfriend's ID was real and thus refused to return it to her. The police had to to be called who then verified that the ID was in fact authentic. Not only did their security waste my friend's time and waste that of the Seattle PD, they wasted their own time and lost customers in the process.
Completely hassle-free. Good selection. Excellent value. The sales people are A+, always patient, helpful and respectful. I go here for both the product and the customer experience.
Products and service are great. Expensive, but great. Loved their cherry soda and vape carriages.
Reasonable prices, quick in and out. And the staff are friendlily and helpful. BUT CASH ONLY, which is a pain in the arise. Private lot. I have found a local shop in Battle Ground of all places that has a WAY better range of product. I will be shopping local from now on.Edit: Forgot to add that the place is clean and well kept. And has really great hours. I prefer this shop when I am in Seattle and needs some things.
Usually the folks at uncle Ike's are very informative. While the guy at the counter was super nice, he either didn't understand what I was looking for or wasn't listening to me. I asked for an indica-dominant hybrid, but found out they were sold out of what I wanted, so he offered me a hybrid that was "similar." Turns out it was an 80% sativa hybrid, which was the opposite of what I was looking for. Not the worst, but definitely a little disappointed. Next time I'll be more clear about what type I want.
Tee-hee, a legal pot place. I mean, it's a bit DMV inside, although Marley was playing, and the stuff is expensive, but it's not because they are trying to rip you off, but because the legal way adds layers of middlemen to take a cut, so that gets passed to the consumer. I do think taking credit cards would be beneficial. I look forward to going back.
Very helpful, friendly staff in both buildings. If you have any problems they are quick to get back to you if you leave a voice mail or shoot them an email. I liked the incredible edible cookies, they are really yummy. Trying the spot cookie bites this time in. Check out the car wash they own next door! Will be returning.
Pretty good customer service. Will definitely try and sell you something more expensive if you're not familiar with purchasing. Overall, very good product quality and knowledgeable staff.
The worse customer service experience. I got told they weren't allowing people in, and then 2 minutes later the security guy allowed 4 ladies in. Aweful experience! Don't waste your time.
A little pricy but I'm impressed nonetheless...and might I mention I'm a Northern Cali kid so I am used to the best.
This place is tight good prices great service. They have great recommendations and the security guard is hella funny look forward to coming here.
Cool little touristy place. Felt super rushed. More of a dicks burger type place where u just get your stuff and go, where as Ponder is like a local, friendly vibe. Ill be going to ponder until i stop feeling rushed here.
This place is amazing-- not only for the product but for the customer service. Every time I've come here I receive nothing but smiles and quality customer service from everyone I've talked to there. Today we went in there and Simon took such good care of us to the point where I felt the need to write a review. I wouldn't go anywhere else-- highly recommend.
Wow, what a memorable experience. Stellar customer service. A shop like this can be overwhelming but from the moment we got out of our uber it was amazing. Would highly recommend this place when you are looking for a wide variety of cannabis. Special thanks to G behind the counter and Terrell!
The info on the package differed from the info on the menu. Gave me less potent product than what was shown on the menu.
can't wait to go back to this place. the selection and atmosphere of the place is great. But, when it really comes down to it, the level of customer service I received from Nina at the store is really why I'm coming back. She knew the right questions to ask, she was patient, knowledgeable, and above all else she just made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Best experience i've had at any dispensary hands down!
nice people. the sample jars you smell from however are not very accurate for what they actually sell you. first off, last time I went I got a pre-rolled gorilla glue joint (already overpriced at $11 +tax) it tasted NOTHING like GG, had to re light bunch of times, and was a total waste of money. Secondly I went back today and am currently smoking on some "sour diesel" and again tastes nothing like SD... very disappointed... back to the streets for me!
Staff was very helpful, wide variety of products, and fair prices. Definitely recommend!
Caitlyn is super professional and super knowledgeable. Made the buying experiences extremely positive.
Good quality meds with excellent labeling and very helpful budtenders! The Uncle Ike's crew is great at educating about their product and helping you tailor your purchase to best fit your needs. And their head shop across the parking lot is great too! T-shirts and wall hangings to 1 hit chillums, rolling papers and thousand dollar oil rigs! Uncle Ike's is a great spot! Honestly, the only issue is pricing but as the market grows and suppliers increase product flow it should start becoming more reasonable. But c'mon people, you're buying legal marijuana in a store, how cool is that?! And shouts out to Chase and the Kush Tourism crew for bringing us by here!
Great first time experience!! Courteous and helpful staff.... Got a great sativa and then went across the lot and got a great bowl and glass filters at 10% off (save your receipt from your cannabis purchase).. Kudos.. Nice setup.
Updating to a 4. My visit today was once again positive. Staff were courteous, friendly, helpful. Great place to buy your weed. Lots of choices, well explained by knowledgeable staff.
I've been to a number of Pot Shops in the area. I like to see the different kinds of stores, set ups and different growers. Uncle Ikes had a good selection and were featuring AVITAS. Great Brand. Happy with the flower I bought. Looking forward to seeing what other stores have to offer...
Don't listen to any other reviews. This is the only review you ever need. I give the staff 5 stars, the prices 5 stars, and the tasty treats 500 stars. Thanks to everyone there, and the free car wash didn't hurt at all.
Sheri is awesome. She is always super friendly, helpful and spends time finding you the best the best jar. She has great advice regarding different types and flavor. Definitely one of the nicest and most helpful staff members.
I am 64, so I have memories from the free-style environment of the 70's. I was appalled at the TSA-style regulations in order to visit Uncle Ike's for the first time. Not only did I have to offer ID to even get into the store, but the security officer had me take it out of my wallet, as if he were the police.. It is in a clear view pocket. There was no need to take it out. Then I went into the most Yuppie surroundings., complete with a "menu". I got out of there as fast as i could. I will be looking for a more casual shop.
Uncle Ike's has the biggest and best selection in town. You can tell they price competitively and really care about the quality of product. The amount of pesticide information they provide is really great - not many shops do this. The lines might be long, but it's well worth the wait - you can even wait it out in the glass shop (which is right there in the same lot, super convenient). The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable, they seem to really care about their product knowledge and it's really impressive that they're able to keep track of all the strains available!
products were good but the worker that checks IDs need to gtfo. he ruins peoples experience in the store
So... First of all, I'm from California. I'm was on my down from visiting Canada and I was like, "oh yeah, isn't it recreational here?" So I found this place via a quick Google search and decided to drop by. All of our medical shops in California are discreet and usually the only indicator is like a small green cross in the window or something. I arrive to this joint and it's lit up like the fourth of July. And I'm like... aight. That's pretty dope. I walk into the back building where they sell the bud like a kid in a candy shop. Keep in mind, this is my first time seeing a shop like this. Bouncer checks my ID, I get called over by a budtender. Chill dude, helped me out with picking a strain and all. Went with Bruce Banner, which was an excellent strain, by the way. I believe it was 32%? Rolled a fat joint with it (: After the transaction I was like... forreal? That was like buying a latte at starbucks. Quick and easy... As I leave, a fellow stoner smiles and nods at me as I do the same. I decide to check out the gift shop before I bounced and was greeted right away by a super chill staff. The girl I talked to and the dude with the epic 'stache (forgot to compliment him on it lol) were very friendly and it was cool chatting with them for a few minutes. After all that, I grabbed some stickers on the way out. I'll FORSURE be rockin em on my GTI. Anyway, the experience was awesome!!! And couldn't have gone smoother. When I find myself back up in Seattle, I won't pass up another visit to this place. I'm sure my buddies are probably gonna wanna tag too after I tell them about it haha
Dropped in today to get a little something and everything was smooth and easy. Only thing I didn't like is u can't walk around and look at the diff things they have. U wait in a line and when the next register is open U walk over U can be a dick and take forever but u kinda feel pressure to hurry up because most of the time there's a line of people waiting Luckily I knew what I wanted (I'm a wax guy) so I didn't feel the pressure that much. Prices are MUCH better than cannabis city but u can browse around in cannabis city because they only allow so many people in the store so when people come out u get to go in and if ur waiting ur waiting outside Still... I like to look at the diff buds and not feel in a rush. But all in all it's a good shop
The catapult coffee pods this place sells are fake. They are literally just regular k pods with a new sticker slapped on top. You can peel it right off and see for yourself - different name, different company. It's like someone stole some hotel soap, put a sticker of a cannabis leaf on it, and sold it as "infused soap." I came back to portland thinking I had something sweet, but all I really had was bad, extremely overpriced coffee. Just to be sure, I drank 3 pods and didn't feel anything. (Except a little wired: it is, in fact, coffee). But it isn't "infused" with anything. Unbelievable.
Becca H delivered really strong customer support this last weekend. I was looking for the Deep Sleep pills and Becca went out of their way & looked in all of the display cases to find me the last box. Thank you kindly, Becca H. Super grateful for your determination and kindness.
Becca Boo West has the best customer service and is very knowledgeable :) I felt like she answered all my questions thoroughly and she knows her stuff
Honestly they have a great store and great selection but the budtenders will only show you the most expensive stuff in the store, they clearly get paid a commission. This has happened so many times I will now drive further away to go anyplace else.
Every time I walk into Uncle Ike's on 23rd I'm treated kindly and professionally. Terrence G is awesome, it's nice to walk into your neighborhood bud store and be greeted by name instead of hearing ID, now stand over there. Terrence is always welcoming and professional. And even though he's not a bud tender behind the counter he always has good suggestions on the best products!
I love this place !!!! They have a great selection and Luis is always helpful and knowledgeable , last time I went in there to get something to help me sleep and whatever I'm looking for he always get is right.
Love Ike's Central--always fast + efficient w online pre-ordering! Friendly Budtenders, great selections, always a warm welcome from Terrence at the door!
Alvin's Review Terrace, Mike, & Tyra is my squad.Hopsitality, Comfort, and Product Knowledge is Priceless. A+ Team for sure.
This used to be my favorite shop to stop into but after handing my ID to some amateur power-tripped nobody SECURITY guard who declined my ID because they only thought it was fake (they refused to scan it anyway) and I've never had an issue using it anywhere else (because it's valid). But the security guard let in the guy before whose ID was literally invalid (he had a HOLE in it). Never shopping at an Ike's again, already had a reason not to with their gentrifying ways and anti-protest owner himself but now they're getting real sloppy with their hires. Will gladly put my money elsewhere with better products, staff, and service. Also, isn't it illegal for VISA to allow card transactions? Will keep that in mind based on this treatment.
Popped in for some drinks while waiting for reservations. The cashiers were friendly and there is a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Great spot!
I'm an idiot - this store has a great staff - I was outraged because I thought they had left something out of an order and I took it to the worst place. The lost item fell out of the bag in the car- I still don't know how it ended up there. - but considering what a jerk I was about it - they were all lovely to a crazy old coot in his Alzheimer's years. I completely Karened out on them- this is when you see how great these kids are - I was totally in the wrong and they were very patient and professional while I was an a**hole. Excuse me I've got to go tell those kids to stay off my lawn I really need to learn to count to 10 I am mortified
Rebecca West helped me find some great chocolates. As a chronic pain patient I truly appreciate her help and knowledge as it directly affects my quality of life. Thanks, Rebecca!
Good prices, friendly staff and security. Rebecca W. did a great job Bud-tending for me ?
I was on the hunt for a new dispensary because the one that is close to home wasn’t working out for me. Ike’s was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad I went! I wish I knew the fellows name who assisted me, but he was so, so sweet and so wonderful to work with. He did not make me feel dumb or anything like that. He was also very nice to my deaf friend. Apparently they are ASL friendly at this pot shop, which is rare. Thanks guys!
A great dispensary with a lot of different tiered options! The staff is friendly and will assist you with what products best fit your needs. I will say, the staff member I worked with personally was not the friendliest - but the other staff members seemed so enthusiastic and passionate. Would def go to this spot the next time I am in Seattle!
prices have gone way up
