Very friendly staff with reasonable prices. Much calmer and nice experience than the long line and rushed sense you get at Ike's across the street. Also they do a 15% off during happy hour from 12-4:20 each day. I stocked up!

After Lauren got back to me insisting the frustration I experienced at my last visit was not the Ponder experience, I decided the only fair thing to do would be to stop by again.  Especially since I also recalled the selection had looked to be improving the second time I stopped in. I still wanted to evaluate the ease of getting a great happy hour deal, so I decided to stop in for the Saturday afternoon happy hour.  I chose the Saturday one simply because I'm working downtown during the week, and it's likely to be the time I stop in in the future should I come by more regularly.I popped in last Saturday at about 12:30, at which point both budtenders were already occupied, so I took a peek in the cases to see if there was anything that caught my eye.  There happened to not be this time, but I was happy to see an increased selection of plant apparent there.  It only took a minute or two for my turn to come, and it was pretty effortless to explain I was looking for 7g of top notch Indica, budget $100.  It may seem silly to remark on that as effortless, but I really can be anxious, and often experience my mind blanking when I actually get someone's attention, so easy communication really is a genuine positive statement on the service I received.Within a minute my helper was back with a few different 7g options, and this time around I was pleasantly surprised to find myself considering between options, as there was more than one great looking selection before me.  After a moment I decided on the delicious looking Blueberry from Golden Tree, and sure enough it was rung up at the great happy hour pricing.BUT, they were out of bags to hand me, which shouldn't happen in this industry.  Also, while I was very pleased with the service I received this time, and will come back for this experience, I still have to say the selection of Phat Panda and Royal Tree at Uncle Ike's represents a line of Top Shelf options that Ponder just doesn't answer on.

Service is nice, product selection was okay. They were out of a few items that I was interested in and a topical that was advertised for a lower price rang up at full price but no way of reconciling that at point of sale. Overall nice shop, I'm just curious why I was charged 47.1% Tax? It seems higher than other places and I thought the tax rate was 37%.

My favorite pot shop in Seattle, nice spot and I love the service there, everybody is so cool and nice, they have a happy hour 12-4.  I haven't see those prices in Seattle. And they give me guaranty about my pen.

I love coming to Ponder. Being a cannabis tourist and medical patient, I've been all over the country to various rec and medical dispensaries. This is one of my favorite spots of all! Positive vibes abound, and the staff seems to genuinely care about individual needs and wants, as opposed to other places that want to grab a quick dollar and rush you out the door.Aside from the excellent staff and product selection, I've found their prices to be the fairest of all the cannabis shops in the area so far. Definitely, you have to check out Ponder. Whether you're a seasoned and dedicated fan of cannabis or new to the culture, I think you'll find you're in your comfort zone within their store.

My friends and I love this place!  We schedule special trips from Magnolia up to the CD to visit & stock up.   Great selection in an intimate setting with friendly, helpful associates who ace recommendations based on whatever your needs may be that day. One of my My favorites was a migraine rescue package the owner put together for me to try CBDs for the first time.  Sweet relief provided by A CBD healing stick for the neck & temples, CBD deep tissue and joint gel from Fairwinds, a CBD vape oil in For bedtime and another CBD tincture for the morning that was a delicious tincture designed to give you a little pep! Once I've got my final selection I always appreciate the selection $1.00 pre-roll doobies in the bins behind the register! Great experience every time.

Saviors! Had a horrible experience with Unlce Ike's up the street, luckily the folks here are helpful AND nice. Recommend asking what's good on the day as they've got specials and great product to try.

Probably my favorite shop on this side of town. They have had a happy hour for as long as I can remember and since I discovered them. Employees are always friendly. Rarely a line although they stay pretty busy they are efficient. :)

Attractive staff. Really great products. No matter if it's payday or not, if I'm on a tight budget or not, they have taken great care of me.

Went here after dinner and a stop at Uncle Ike's a block away (I'd recommend checking out both places).   I was visiting from out of state and only like edibles and the budtender gave me some great advice on what would work best for my situation.Very safe and nice walk from Capital Hill/Downtown restaurants and hotels

I was recommended this place by a friend. When you first walk in, you're bombarded with signs that say they sell only pesticide-free weed.  Awesome! I tried a couple of pre-rolls from the Liberty reach brand was was blown away...the quality was remarkable compared to the same strains I would get from Uncle Ike's. Let's just say I haven't been to Ike's ever since. Really knowledgeable workers and they have 2 happy hours! 12-4:2011pm-11:45 pm

Just smoked blueberry durban from green barn farms it was the weakest dro ive ever smoked and im honestly wondering if that was even weed didnt taste like it nor get me high tasted like a bunch of old cigarette butts. Im pretty pissed and im a frequent there and have brought in alot of customers (friends and co workers and family)

I used to think this shop was cool and all the staff really helpful and friendly, that was until my latest visit I was told don't have my regular brand so was offer alternatives which is quite normal...  However the shite that they sold me was of really poor quality and was also out of date of best before.PEOPLE BE CARE PONDER SELLS OUT OF DATE POT- and it was not even discounted :(You have lost a customer using that tactic...

I came in today because ikes was closed. Was greeted kindly. But I realized after I left I was given change for 40 instead of 100. I was then greeted with suspicion and asked why I didn't check before I left. Probably will never come back

Ponder is my spot! Great environment w/amazing employees that are as diverse as the CD (Central District) use to be. Can't do the Uncle Ike crap-like going somewhere ppl take their time and remember me/treat me like the homie. Marcus is my guy-always real chill!

A relaxed atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, incredible selection, decent prices. Also love that the contemporary decor blends in with the neighborhood and doesn't scream POT SHOP. Nicely done all around.

I found this place by accident and am pretty happy with it. The 12:00 to 4:20 discount is really awesome if you can make it there during those hours, the quality of the product can be a little inconsistent.

I started going to Ponder before it was certified medicinal over a year ago. I was immediately impressed with the customer service. I used to shop at Dockside and get my MMJ card there as well. I stopped going to Dockside because they trippled the charge for a  MMJ card. Ponder is free for those needing a card. The whole registration photo part of MMJ card cost about 4 dollars to produce, and takes less than 6 minutes. Ponder absorbs this for the MMJ community because they believe in helping people who need MMJ to find relief from their illness, but also because many MMJ patients don't always have the funds for this process. Dockside will give you a coupon to use in their store towards their products but if they don't carry the product you need you are left with a coupon you cannot use, which was the case with me. It seems profits are above all else, what is important to Dockside. I am not dissing Dockside because lets face it, they have a cool shop with lots if information about hemp. I don't believe they care as much about the MMJ community because of their punitive way of securing all your dollars stay with them. Ponder has better prices especially during Happy Hour. I have visited well over 30 cannabis shops in Wa state and bar none Ponder beats them all.

I checked out Ponder for the first time today near Uncle Ikes and was delightfully surprised by the amazing deals, their noon to 4:20 15% off happy hour and no minimum for purchase, so I wasn't forced into spending more than I wanted. If your in there area or already an Uncle Ikes frequenter, I would checkout Ponder, definitely worth it!

Your money goes further at Ponder. I've found vape cartridges here for way cheaper than they have at Uncle Ike's. Similarly, Ponder always has $7 pre-rolls and even $5 specials. I haven't seen deals like this at Uncle Ike's. You can, of course, spend more on premium products, if you want.I like that, at least for now, they're not crowded. You won't feel rushed to make your purchases like you might with a long line of customers behind you.The people behind the counter are approachable and knowledgeable. They can talk through their products and offer suggestions. My favorite experience with Ponder was, one evening, as I walked up to the shop, an older guy in his fifties of sixties was walking out. He joined up with a younger guy (who had to be his son) who was waiting outside. The older gentleman was holding Ponder's signature orange paper bag up by his face with both hands. He peered into it and had an eager smile on his face. He cooed, "They are just so nice in there! So helpful!" I bet he couldn't wait to get home. His experience put a smile on my face!

Great spot with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Low stress, not crowded, and great prices--copped three 10mg cookies for $12, plenty of other options and premium flower available. Go here off peak for the 420 discount. Happy to have this low-key option - definitely my new fave.

Feels personal. Nice atmosphere. Good suggestions. I can take my time and discuss my needs and options (I don't feel I get that when I'm across the street at uncle Ike's). It's my favorite pot shop in the neighborhood.

Great shop, I would definitely do business with them again!  I spoke with Danny and Dan and they were very knowledgeable and helpful.  The prices were really good for the quality.  Definitely recommend this spot.

This place was so awsome I'm so glad I decided to leave downtown and ponder off. And I found ponder   Where I was greeted by an awsome bud tender who was just asomely friendly. He started off by telling us the deals and happy hours which are 12pm -4:20pm. He was very knowledgeable of every strain. I was so happy to find this place and I will be returning in the near future . As an out of towner I definitely recommend this place.

I was SO HAPPY to find Ponder after the nightmare that is Uncle Ike's. The staff is the most knowledgeable I have ever encountered, and Tiffany was super happy to sit and discuss the different ways to ingest cannabis products. I will always support this shop. Also, if you have to write five page dissertations about buying weed, you're doing it wrong Jonathan R. NOBODY CARES THAT MUCH what you think, you self important goober.

My favorite neighborhood go-to place for cannabis.  The signage is subdued and the atmosphere relaxed and pleasing.  The staff is friendly, patient and very knowledgable about the array of products.  Sabrena and others have made some great suggestions.  I'm especially fond of the Happy Hour that goes to 4:20pm.

Great price on Dutch Brothers!  Love the edibles. Wish they carried Avitas cartridges.

seriously. this is the best dispensary in seattle and i have been to a lot of them.  everyone that has helped me is extremely knowledgeable about all the products and give the best recommendations and are always accommodating.  the whole lay out of the store is perfect, even with the lighting.   from the outside, you wouldn't even think it's a pot store, which makes it even more intentional on why you are there in the first place.   i don't feel like i am having this "stoney" high exchange with the employees and makes me trust the new weed process and all their products. i met the owner on a random visit and he was very personable and expressed his love and respect for the plant. as we all do, i'm sure.    everyone should come here keep up the good work!  i am in full support!

I went in to Ponder. I was the only customer there at the time. I was having trouble viewing the menu on the tablet attached to a column and asked the counterperson if she had another menu I could see. She just said "no." I walked closer to the counter and lo and behold there was another tablet sitting right there. I told her I was interested in Sativa flowers. No response. I looked through the menu and asked her what she thought of a strain I was unfamiliar with. She looked at me with what I'd describe as disdain and said, "that's not even a question." Then turned her back to me and walked away. Needless to say Ponder, I'll be going to any of the other Seattle weed shops.

This was my first time going into a dispensary but I've been smoking for a long time so I consider myself to be decently knowledgeable. I asked the budtender for a quarter of an indica with a THC of 20-25%. Budtender instantly pulled out 5 amazing options to choose from all from different growers. I was even introduced to a couple of new strains in the form of prerolls and grams too. A very knowledgeable staff, I was very impressed and will be returning to ponder for their expertise alone, though the happy hour deals help too ;)

Going to Ponder was great! I'm very "green" so to speak and had a lot of questions. The staff the was very knowledgeable and professional and made my entire experience wonderful. The prices I feel are very reasonable and the products are great. I recommend the edibles:)

This was my first time visiting Ponder. Altering reading many of the reviews online, I had to try them out. They did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and super knowledgeable. I think I'll be back!

It's nice they carry a few brands Uncle Ikes doesn't.  They carry Verdelux Bonboms here. They let my daughter in to purchase. They allow the vertical ID here.

Ponder is a great lil shop in the CD that is known for converting Ike's regulars. They run some pretty attractive promotions, and even combine discounts during their happy hours. I remember coming in one time and picking up a bunch of half gram infused pre rolls for about a buck seventy a piece......crazy.....It was like 2 bucks on promo and another 15% discount for HH as well....and we're talking full flower infused half grammers..... They have very knowledgable staff here. They know their inventory inside and out and give great suggestions. My only gripe would be that they do not always follow their posted hours and often close at random early times.

After dinner at Fat's nearby, my boyfriend and I decided to walk around to take in our first night in Seattle. We definitely pondered (lol) about going to a dispensary since marijuana is recreationally legal in Seattle and Ponder was the nearest one! A short walk down the neighborhood brought us to this brightly lit store with a welcoming bouncer outside.We were warmly greeted right away when we stepped inside and the budtenders were super helpful in guiding us throughout their displays. After looking for a while, we got some tips from the budtenders and ended up purchasing a 3 pack of j's for $12. They smelled great and were very nicely made. The overall ambiance of the store is very clean and uplifting. Loved my experience here, I'd come back to visit to try out some other products!

I've been going to Ponder for a few years and figured it was high time I leave a review. This is an excellent establishment. Everyone is warm, welcoming and informed. The prices are great, quality is great. The happy hour is definitely something to take advantage of. I LOVE PONDER. Much better alternative to the other shop around the corner.

This place was wonderful! There is a "mature" lady budtender (I didn't get her name) but she is wonderful! Very knowledgeable and kind. She informed me of many different items and made me feel so welcomed. I was just visiting the city but would be a repeat customer if I lived her! Thank you for the great experience

I love all of the staff here! Everyone is so nice, helpful, and accommodating. I came in with my dog today (they have vegan dog treats!) for a few pre rolls but I had no real idea of what kind I wanted. The budtender happily gave me a few selections to choose from, and described the flavors and overall effects for me. Every time I visit, everyone is wearing masks and there are hand sanitizer bottles on every counter. I wouldn't go anywhere else, 10/10.

This used to be good weed shop but now it's bad! Unprofessional and unpleasant staff limited selection and way overpriced weed! At least everyone wear a mask!

Very unneighborly :( we pulled into their drive for 1 minute so I could jump out of the car and pick up a large order from Lowrider. The worker was extremely rude telling us we needed to move- which is totally fine because it's valid. However, the delivery of this message was extremely condescending and abrasive. As a result of the interaction alone, I will never visit this establishment.

I've been coming to this store for years now and over the course of the pandemic, the quality of service and weed has gone to 0. I spend around 6-700 here every week and over the last year and a half the staff has been increasingly rude, and increasingly flippant about the restrictions they place on patrons. Specifically the way that they yelled at me to put my I'd up to the glass one night and then another Yelled at me not to. I'm just tired of being yelled at so I can give you my money. Further, their security doesn't do anything to stop aggressive people from hanging out in front asking for weed. This store was good before the pandemic because it was small and the service was good. Since the pandemic, the rude staff has made it so unpleasant to go here I have to medicate myself before I come normally. Today was the last straw and I'm done here. They've officially made it more costly to deal with them than to just go to the reef in Capitol Hill. So that's where I'm taking my business.

Ponder is my go-to pot shop. To me, it feels like walking into a modern apothecary or herbalist's shop (which, ok, is kind of what it is) because Ponder emphasizes the functional aspect of marijuana. Other shops really revel in the party aspect which is fine, but if you're looking to treat your cramps, your anxiety, your depression, chronic pain, inflammation, etc. you're not looking to get ripped and party, you're looking for medicine.The staff is awesome. They're always smiling and everyone has good suggestions because they know what they're talking about!You can tell you're getting foofoo lip service if your budtender says, "Yeah, you know, it's a really good high, just a little bit of body buzz, and it tastes really good." That's not what you want to hear when you are ready to drop $100. Ponder's budtenders have told me, "This is what I smoke when I need to unwind but I'll mix it with this one so that it doesn't put me out right away. Smoke it a couple of hours before bed. It always gives me a great night of sleep." or "If she's new to marijuana, she can cut one of these chocolates into thirds and see how that affects her first. I like to melt mine into hot cocoa - it's really good with the peanut butter flavor!" They're not afraid to tell you what the better option is, either. Fantastic.IMHO, this level of professionalism is what makes Ponder's clientele and atmosphere so pleasant, too. Everyone who comes here is chill and polite, are a range of ages, and TBH, it feels like the friendly neighborhood pot shop.I've never gotten bad weed from Ponder and my housemates and I have tried a lot of different strains and growers. I *have* gotten bad weed at other shops that either had few discernable effects or felt muddy (the generic "high" feeling). To me, this means Ponder really curates their buy so that the strains they carry have clear applications. Ponder also has a decent selection of CBD things like mints, cartridges, capsules, edibles, tinctures, etc. which are great for anyone who doesn't like to smoke or doesn't want to feel high but just wants to feel better.Prices are really good and they usually have stuff on promotion. The Ponder Promise guarantees that they'll always have stock at certain low prices. If you're visiting from out of town or just dipping your toe into medical marijuana, this makes it cheap to sample marijuana in different forms. $3 chocolates!They now have an option to pre-order online for pickup. And they run Happy Hour from 12-4:20, 15% off.Ponder, I love you. Can you tell? I do.

Small shop with good vibes. Day time staff seems moody at times. Night time staff seems like a happier group of workers, Marcus is super, Ken the door man is polite and kind. The only problem I have with ponder is their pricing compared to other places. They charge $10-$15 more than others for an 1/8 and that double as you go up in weight. I love Sweet Water Farms but I'd never get it from Ponder when it's $15 cheaper at Ike's. Bring them prices down and quit over charging!!!

I have absolutely 0 complaints. It's nicely presented, the staff are friendly, and the product is good. What more can you ask for?

This-shop used to be awesome! Props to Pops on the keyboard making the visit more upbeat! Kedrick is amazing every time too . But generally, Customer service during Covid has gone down drastically though. Newer staff appear to be consistently annoyed and the attitude just gets worse. One particular staff I’ve noticed has a different attitude depending on the skin tone and gender identity of customers. White, fluid customers are openly welcomed enthusiastically while straight appearing Black & Brown customers are often treated with annoyance and indifference. It’s quite blatant and I’m not the only one who’s noticed that. Comparatively, prices are higher here than in several other local shops. I give 2 stars for their great selection and variety. For a positive vibe, I’m pondering other shops now.

Fantastic shop! The staff is compassionate and knowledgeable. Good prices, good service. What else can you ask for out of your neighborhood hook-up? These folks are wonderful.
