I live right by American Mary and Lux, and I have to say, AM is far better in terms of consistent customer service, prices that fit any budget, selection and overall vibes. The staff there are always friendly and don't make you feel like a corporate sellout.

Great products and large selection. Staff is friendly and helpful! Ben, Dash, and Reagan helped me no problem and knew exactly how to help me and found two perfect cartridges.

I recently visited Ballard to see a few friends and had the opportunity to stop by and check it out. I was shocked by how clean and nice the shop looked. Coming from another state this was the largest and best priced shop I could imagine. The staff was so kind and helpful, letting me ask all the questions I needed and them some. I definitely recommend anyone visiting this area to check this place out!

Nice interior, clean, friendly employees. However, the budtender who helped me sold me shitty products and swore they were great. I specifically asked him about the quality of the products I bought. I just wanted high quality. I don't like buying shitty weed. I bought a vape cartridge, a two pack of joints and a 10 pack of joints. When I went in I told this guy what I wanted and he grabbed me stuff instantly. Every single other dispensary that I have EVER been to takes time to consider my requests and find something good for me. Not this dude. He just grabbed random shit and told me it was good. Literally the vape cartridge I bought shit out halfway through. And the 10 pack of joints? Garbage. I smoked a full joint from that pack and I feel like I've only taken a hit. This is some bammer weed. It tastes like hay. Weed is expensive. Don't lie to your customers about the quality just because you're lazy or don't know your products. Wish I could get my money back so I could actually get what I set out to get in the first place.

I've been previously one of many harassed and mistreated at their close neighbors Lux... in case your are wondering their retention sadly does not exist as they discriminate and steal from their own employees causing hardships for many wonderful and hardworking people! I get SPAM texts from this company at least once a month.  I block the number but they keep changing the number they text from or the number they're spoofing.

Best pot-shop in Seattle. Rarely a wait, great selection/quality, and real amazing budtenders. Went in yesterday for some wax and got really awesome customer service. Despite being a budget customer, the staff are always chill, knowledgeable, and get me stoked about what I'm buying.

I was visiting from Oregon where weed dispensaries are plentiful. I was pleased with the selection, quality and service. The bud tender listened to my needs and recommended some good options. I ended up with the breeders cut of Dogwalker which was pretty tasty. Thanks!

Wow, I was super impressed by American Mary, I've never had such a chill cannabis shopping experience, I highly recommend them (pun intended).I don't live in Seattle, this was my first experience with a Washington dispensary (my experiences have been in Colorado, California, and Nevada) and the first thing that I noticed was that there wasn't an elaborate check-in process, it was really refreshing not to be treated like a suspect about to conduct a shady transaction.My budtender was super helpful and friendly, the store was very neat and clean, and their selection more than met my needs. AM definitely set the bar really high for any future dispensaries I visit, (pun intended).

Just an awful experience from beginning to end..... 2 times in one week no less.   Would not recommend.

A little aloof on the service side (could be me not being comfortable, not their fault), great selection, helpful employees, friendly. I live in the neighborhood and the green lights make me happy every time I'm walking home.

My favorite pot shop in the city. It did take a minute for them to get on their feet but honestly the best bud tenders ever. :)

I LOVE American Mary! The staff is always helpful, super knowledgeable and friendly. There’s always lots of stock with an abundance of great choices and awesome prices. It’s a rarity that I go anywhere else. HIGHLY recommend.

I used to go to Lux. Came in here once and asked myself why the *@#! I had not come here before. Staff are legit, friendly and straight to the point. Weed is amazing and so are the prices! I'll be back! Unfortunately more than I should be!

Wheeler was impeccably informed on the flower they helped me select. They were knowledgeable about the farm it came from, their ownership and growing processes. They even gave me details about the UV protection on the jar!
