As far as rec shops go, this one is thoroughly average. The place is clean and well kept, the employees are friendly and polite, and for the average smoker they have some awesome deals on bud which change fairly often. However, if you're a medical patient like me be prepared to shell out quiet a bit extra for medicinal grade products. For example, they have two strains of Thai Girl. The much better quality bud is nearly $15 more for an eighth. If you are a casual recreational smoker, you can easily get away with buying the less expensive bud. However, when you need to smoke several times a day for pain relief you really notice the difference in quality. Being limited in how much I can work and therefore on fixed income, the cost really adds up quickly. Overall I give them 3.5 stars.

Excellent Selection! I love the way they display product so you can SEE the fine print. Prices are always great, lots of top shelf weed! The service is the BEST! Totally knowledgeable of their specials, growers, strains, processes, etc!!! I could not be happier to have found such a great place. Also, they are friends of dogs and Dorothy.

Just okay. Seattle dispensaries seem have to a thing with thinking it's OK to leave huge stems and leaves on premium bud and WSM is no exception. What a rip off.

Great shop. Staff is super friendly, every single time, and very knowledgable. They will give spot on strain recommendations based on your individual needs, if you ask, with zero attitude or condescension. Always a very professional, friendly, positive experience. You can't ask for more than that.

My fiancé and I came here to get some cbd candy for my girl's and I's back and first of all, these guys run a great shop! The customer service is better than any shop we've been to. Nate was the guy that helped us navigate our way through tons of options for our needs. He's very knowledgeable and not pressuring at all! Prices are better than the majority of the shops in Seattle. Everything is paper coded. If the pricing paper is orange, it's a cbd containing product and if the pricing paper is white that means thc and little to no cbd. After feeling very grateful for the help, we tried to tip Nate and he told us "the company takes great care of their employees and if we want to show our appreciation, to leave a review. We were going to anyways because we had such a great experience! Thanks Nate and we'll be seeing you again soon!

i went there yesterday after being treated horribly as a woman just walking in at Ganja Goddess and Cannabis City. I looked up a place closer to me and I found this place. They were welcoming, acknowledged me, cared about what was important to me as someone with fibromyalgia and recommended some products I wanted around that.  From the guy at the front to the other guys around who were smiling in a helpful way, I found that thought it is a small store, the service counts to me 1000% and the store is well organized and well laid out. I will be going there again and again.

It was my first visit to a pot shop. I have been learning about cbd oils helping ailments. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. I was just a little sticker shocked about cbd oil.

Excellent selection, price, and helpful staff make this my favorite herb stop.ID checks at the front door and counter so keep your ID out to get through the line fast.10/10 will go again.

This place has a great selection, a great staff and a great environment. Most all of the staff know what their talking about and it's refreshing to see, from flavor to high. Most every time I've not been lead astray in terms of exactly what I was looking for. High quality to budget friendly they really have it all. Highly impressed with the whole store from their display to how they work with the customer. It's pretty conveniently located next to bus stops and in West Seattle. By far the best store around the area and I've been to the rest. 10/10 products (maybe a lil love in the keif dept) 9/10 service 9/10 environment/location

By far the best shop in Burien/white center.  Selection is great, staff is knowledgeable and give sweet recommendations.  Two thumbs up for sure!!!

Low rating! They wouldn't allow us to use a valid vertical identification to enter. From North Carolina, only have a vertical, valid 21+ license. Would never return, even if you're legal age, because they'll turn you away with a vertical ID.

This place has the best selection, quality and service if and if the shops nearby.  The employees are experts in their product and take the time. I always have the best experience!

Terrible service... Although the state is allowing 90 day extensions on identification cards, West Seattle Marijuana says "We're not honoring it"??? WTF not cool man. Working extra due to COVID just wanted to chill. Happy to take my business elsewhere!

My license has expired and even though I renewed it and had the documents they will not allow me to enter the store. They apologized but said that the owner was not allowing any expired ID's.

Love the staff!! Incredible and knowledgeable :) They deserve much better then how the owner treats them. 5 stars for budtenders!

This used to be my local shop. They had a great selection and the staff was usually helpful. There were a couple times where I was obviously intentionally misgendered by a clerk or an older gent who I took to be ownership, but I never saw the old man again and the clerk wasn't around for very long. The rest of the staff was stellar and I only had that problem a couple times, so I didn't dock any stars for it since the good times vastly outnumbered the bad. Highly recommend it over the other shops if its local to you.

I live close by that is why I go there. I went yesterday Feb 6  2021 I didn't check the harvest date. It was April 12 2020. Almost a year old. WTF. Never again. If I do I'll ask for recently added. Such a bummer. It had no smell or taste. It crumbled the minute you touch it. They need to do better. Hire someone who is older than 21.

This WAS my to go store. Friendly stuff, and they most likely had what I was looking for (but not always, will still mention here why not). Though last time I went there, they didn't let me in, since my drivers license was just expired for 3 days. (On the other hand a good thing tho, this was a reminder to renew immediately). So I asked if I can bring my brand new German passport instead, but also NO. So if you are visiting from another country, you can forget going there, save the trip and don't waste your time too. I thought I was screwed for the next 4 weeks until my renewed drivers license arrives, so I googled and found out that it is totally legal to show up with a passport at a pot shop. So I called them, and they explained that they owner doesn't allow it, for some reasons I didn't really understand. They could loose their license, then they wouldn't have a job, bla bla.Calling around the West Seattle area, literally everyone else is excepting passports, and by that way I found another great store, very friendly staff with a good selection and similar prices, and they obviously seem not to be scared to loose their license. Also they offer 10% discounts on pre orders, woot! I'm not aware that the West Seattle Marijuana Store does that. Also another let down I wanted to mention is that you can't trust their menu, which is only on Leafly. It happened quite often, that they didn't have what I found on their menu before I went there, so what is the point of a menu, if I'm wasting my time researching about their strains beforehand?I'm aware no pot store will ever run out of customers, so this 1 Star review might not bother them at all, but I think it needs to be brought up, because this was an absurd experience, which made me feel like in the old days, and I have to look for a street dealer again.

Went to this dispensary randomly on my way to run errands and couldn't get into the shop. When they checked my ID, he noticed it was expired and wouldn't allow me to shop. Due to COVID,  the state of Washington extended some drivers licenses expiring in 2020 to 2021 and sent letters letting applicable Washingtonians (me) that they would automatically send an updated drivers license when they get back to making them. I also moved and updated my address. WA state automatically sends a new drivers license when information is updated. Again, I don't have control over having an updated drivers license. Their store policy is undoubtedly asinine. I've never had a problem using my drivers license at any other dispensary I've gone to or purchasing alcohol in the last 9 months. This was my first and last time attempting to shop at this dispensary. I ended up going to the dispensary down the street, Star International Marijuana. The very last straw... you can't make preorders

Where do I start?... used to be my go to store, clean, good size store, staff since day one was a mix of friendly or bad. The bad came from two specific employees one female one male (I don't know their names) The female would always be rude and seemed to be in a bad attitude all the time. I felt like she "enjoyed" questioning people for the dumbest things, she felt powerful l guess being able to Deny people service/entry. I figured you'd be happy to have a job. The guy on several occasions I would ask for a specific type of flower and he would turn around and try and sell me something else, that was annoying! I know what I want. I told him I only came for what I asked and only then I would get it or some times they would be sold out. The thing that made me take the time and write this review is the last time I came the same guy I purchased a vape refill, I know how the sale works and once you purchase them sale is final. Unless defective with in a certain number of days. So I purchased One paid. I asked about another One and I was holding it and checking it out, I said I'll take it as well. I gave the guy my cash and literally not a full second had gone by and I said wait never mind I want to buy flower instead, he Actually said hold on, looked at my cash and pressed the button on his Pos. Then looked up and said sorry all sales are final. I said never mind before he had completed the transaction... the manager came I was angry and simply grabbed the stuff I was charged for and left. The manager did nothing didn't even talk to me he basically told the employee yea if it's paid for you cannot refund it, it's not like I wanted my money back all I wanted was a different product in exchange. There were other people in the store thanks for the embarrassment. I'll never be back here!!

After purchasing herb for 35+ years, this was the first time I've ever done so legally. It was a very cool experience. The staff is friendly and the selection very impressive. I chose a $5 "Daily Special":Skyline: pre-roll, Sunshine 1gWow! Potent, happy high. Possibly the best $5 I've ever spent! I'll def be back my next time in White Center.

This is really the best canabis store in Seattle I have ever been shopping in. Pretty vast variety, pleasant prices and wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable stuff.

Where do I start ? This was by far the best experience I’ve had at a shop. Sure Planet 13 is great in Vegas but too many people. The attention given and the person being honest is something you usually don’t find. Even when the manager saw me busting open the packages in the store he was cool about it ( DONT DO THIS). Danielle was my bud tender and he was upfront honest and handsome to ?. If you find yourself in this area don’t bother looking up prices I did on the plane ride this is the place.

Great prices, bottom line. Always stocked with an exceptional inventory. The people that work there are always cool to talk with, well versed and knowledgeable, and they always provide a good recommendation, which is crticial. S***ty budtenders who push old product on a recommendation is far too common, I've noticed and these guys have never done me dirty in that regard. Never have left disappointed. Cant say the same for the competition nearby. EDIT: I'm a little late in this input, but I have to dock two stars from my initial review due to the owner's decision on increasing most of the product price points over 25% during a pandemic. When no one is making ends meat. What a selfish decision. I get the the first rule of economics and growers distributors and retailers are all hurting alike. I also understand the recent remodel probably costed a pretty penny. However, you can't justify raising prices like that under any circumstance. And as much as I've come to love the staff and overall vibe of the place. I can no longer recommend shopping here. Based on that selfish decision. To the owner: What a f**king joke dude. You should be ashamed of yourself.
