Really fixed my back soreness -- amazing deal and zesty atmosphere. Please buy one of their paintings

This dispensary deserves so much better ratings than it has. They were amazing!They had a wide variety of edibles to choose from. All for a great price as well! I know this because I went to a few other dispensaries before making a large purchase here. They had the cheapest prices for the same amount of mgs per package, which is only 100mgs by law. Knowing it's the same dosage wherever you go, why would anyone want to spend more money?! Best bang for your buck!The staff was also extremely friendly! Major side bonus is that they have a friendly dog greeting customers.Most importantly... THEY TAKE CARD! I cannot stress over how almost all dispensaries only take cash. I totally get the whole tax evasion thing, but it's 2018. No one carries cash anymore. At least I don't. Especially not in downtown Seattle... just saying.

Only shop I've been to that doesn't honor veterans.... that's pretty shitty you should honor vets. Many vets. Out there use marijuana products to help with PTSD and are on a fixed income.  But the joint in Burien is 5 star all day and they appreciate the sacrifices veterans make, so....

I came in today on the phone with my boyfriend to discuss what product I should get while waiting in line. The lady at the counter had me leave the store because my conversation was "making the store look bad" and "would get the store busted". She accused that I came in here to resell the products or whatever. I tried to explain this wasnt what she thought and trying to clarify the situation. She did not acknowledge this clearly was an misunderstanding and refuse to understand the whole situation. anyway, terrible service.

I absolutely love the convenience of this location! They have fabulous staff & the venders always try to keep everyone up to date on products, merchandise, & laws/policies. They offer a great selection of flowers, edibles, topicals, wax, shatter, & merchandise. Fabulous daily deals & great holiday specials. There is an ATM & frequent buyer program. Heck, they'll hook you up with discounts with reviews on here, Twitter, & other medias.

My boyfriend (22) and I (21) weren't allowed in because we have vertical ids come on y'all invest in a scanner.

Honestly, I loved this place when I first moved here. I felt super welcome . But slowly by going to more dispensaries I realized they honestly suck. Customer service is pretty cool. But prices are a little wild for some of their low grade product. They got robbed .. even though it's not their fault it still made me feel iffy about this place and Now they don't do online discounts. Honestly you can get a way better experience at a dockside cannabis. If you're just looking to get some flower really quick this is an okay place I guess  but to get good product for a good price and GREAT service... don't come here. I usually leave disappointed or unhappy with my order.

The employees here are really good at helping you find a new strain, but they wouldn't have to be if this place was just consistent. I don't think I've ever been able to get the same strain here twice once they've run out of something. It's like they don't restock with any of the same strains. Also some of the employees can be condescending; as someone who doesn't know a lot about weed there are a few employees, that when I can see they're about to help me, make me feel a little anxious.Overall this place is pretty convenient, and there's one girl with multicolored pastel hair who works there that is always so sweet. I just wish that I could go in without feeling like I need a backup plan.

Assholes. They sold me CBD oil for my senior dog and when the top broke and wouldn't open anymore, they refused to exchange it. Also, the guy was so rude and acted like I was asking for some shady thing. It was brand new! Had to break top off so my dog wasn't in pain. This place is close to my house but I will drive across town to avoid returning.

Bought a couple pre rolls from here, they burned very uneven and they didn't smoke well so I tried to contact the joint to tell them it was defective. I took a video of it burning bad and even saved the joints and they still wouldn't refund my money or give me new ones because of covid? I get not taking it back because it's contaminated but I was owed my money back. Save yourself the trouble and find a different dispensary.

I guess it depends on the person who was working. Reading reviews here and on WM, I expected service to be less than spectacular. Got what I was looking for quick and easy with good service. Would definitely go back again.

The Joint always has a wide variety of options, the staff is super friendly, and they have daily deals! Do recommend :)

Local spot I go to if I ever need anything. Hours are nice, great selection, and employees I usually see (Stav, Kat, & Marie) are always really friendly with great recommendations.

Boooo! Never have been disappointed by a dispensary but this place found a way to surprise me. Save your time and go to any other dispensary in Seattle. Terrible customer service and employees who don't seem to care about the experience.

They don't accept legal forms of id, which would be fine except they're kind of dicks about it. Went to another place right after and they said the same thing but at least pointed me in the right direction/gave alternatives. Stupid policy, it's incredibly easy to distinguish fakes from real. Unless you're stoned I guess.

I was in dire need of Marijuana but unfortunately my ID was not Horizontal so I was unable to purchase anything. Glad I didn't want to browse your selections. Vendor was nice but it was dumb

Try opening and closing based on your listed hours. Thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt but don't ignore the plethora of crummy reviews I spose. This lil skank shop is as skanky as it gets.

The store and staff are absoluytley amazing. Abundant choices and the staff are exceptional. I have been going to this store for years and I have not found anyone better. The staff knows me and takes such great care of me. I highly recommend giving this store some of your time. The prices are very good. There is a huge selections of products, and this where I get my CBD, which is a vital medication to me. And, there is so much more to choose from. The staff are highly knowledgeable and have your best interest in mind and heart. I am a very picky customer and places have to earn my loyalty, for many reasons, and this dispensary has no other equal, in my opinion. Give the staff a try and you should be surprised. I truly love this store and it's staff. I am not using the word "love" lightly either.

Great staff, decent selection, good deals. I'd recommend going in on a Sunday since you can use any weekly deal. I bought quite a bit for pretty cheap. Currently they're cash only which is a bummer since I loved the convenience of paying with card, but it's not their fault. Follow the rules (don't be on your phone in line or at the counter, have your ID, etc.) and tip them and you'll be in good shape!

They are pretty good people, i like the business a lot. think if you are on campus they are better than anybody else. Get art supplies down the road.

These sad sack piece of shits are literally the worst shop in all of Seattle.  Burn out fucking losers work the counter.  They hold your ID like you're some criminal.  They have shit selection and even worse prices.  To top it off they don't know fuck all about the product.  Only the dregs of society work here.  Only in business because lazy college kid foot traffic.  Fuck this place in it's face.

Great and knowledgeable staff l. i came in expecting the same old dry budtender but i was delightfully surprised by an energetic young woman with blonde hair who helped me select a wonderful strain of indica called Kings kush

Was barred from purchasing due to my vertical ID. No one fakes a vertical ID look at the birthdate! I'm sure they have good products but to bar me from purchasing simply because I haven't paid the 60$ to update my ID because it's valid for another 2 years is a bad policy. Haven't had a problem at any other dispensary's, bars, or restaurants. Change your policy and I'll change my review.

I have been in the the joint on 45th a few times, as I discovered a guy I knew prior working there Josh was more than just helpful as busy as the store was at that time, Josh still took his took to hook me up with my medical needs you guys rock.  G.Scooter

I went here three times and it was quickly becoming my newly favorite and only neighborhood pot shop, then they hired this chick whom evidently knows nothing of weed and has zero interest in telling her customers about the weed. Pot is a revolutionary movement that deserves respect for those in and out of the business. This community is about sharing, caring, being inclusive and sharing knowledge... so why did I leave feeling uneducated, disrespected, unacknowledged, and basically baffled as I questioned if what I just experienced was indeed the same place I almost told others to visit.

With all the amazing and friendly weed shops in seattle- don't waste your time here!  The staff aren't very friendly or helpful and hassled my boyfriend about his out of state ID, nothing was wrong w it and they denied us service - even tho we were return customers ! Booo !

I needed pot I walked 20 min in the rain to have this guy tell me they dont take vertical IDs, budtender had a real condescending attitude. Never going here again.

The people working the counter at this shop are knowledgeable and friendly.  The prices are reasonable and they have good selection. On weekends they have a 20% off sale, which is a great time to pick up half ounces or better.  Like most shops they have a frequent visitor deal where you also get 20% off after ten visits. Combine that deal with the weekend deal and you will certainly save a lot of money. The location is easy to find and there is parking in the lot out front. Give the Joint a try if you live in the area or you want to try a new shop.

Skip the hassle and sad experience you'll more than likely have here and go to American Mary. The staff there are helpful, knowledgeable, and it's also affordable. You'll have more options, you'll be treated like a human there and you won't waste your time or money.

Up until this point, I have had nothing but positive experiences with the medical marijuana process  - from doctors to certain dispensary staff, they have all been professional and genuinely helpful in setting me up with the appropriate strains to assist in my medical needs.  My first couple of visits at the Joint were very positive. The staff was helpful and assured me that if something didn't work out or produce an effect that helped me, I could comeback and they'd set me up with something else no problem.  Last week, I went to pick up a cartridge of a blend that had really been working great for me.  They were out and the staff told me they weren't sure when they'd get it back in.  As an alternative, they suggested a different type.  I wasn't thrilled but figured why not try?  I was sold the cartridge and returned home.  At home, I realized I had the same exact one - it was one I had purchased a while ago, didn't like and had stopped using it.  When the staff member sold me the cartridge, they never bothered to look at my buying history to make sure it was the best purchase for me.  I set the recently purchased, duplicate cartridge aside untouched until I had the time to go back to the dispensary.  A week later I was able to stop in.  I was told they couldn't accept a cartridge back that had been clearly used.  I told them I had no motivation to lie about whether I did or did not use it and that I hadn't used it because I already owned that cartridge type and truly did NOT like it's affect on me.  The staff member kept insisting that the cartridge had been used.  I get it, I'm sure plenty of people try to pull tricks to get free weed, what have you, but I am not that person.  It's not a money issue and it's not a high issue, it's a genuine medical treatment for me.  Being accused of doing something that I didn't do was extremely poor form.  Not only did I leave the facility with no assistance in setting me up with something that I could use but I was accused of doing something I hadn't done.  I am disappointed in the Joint.  Their customer service is in great need of assistance and consistency not to mention how they communicate their policies to customers/patients. To receive such a dramatic range of customer service - from courteous and helpful to unhelpful and accusatory - makes this a place I do not wish to patronage further.  My understanding is that dispensaries for medical prescriptions are meant to assist people with their medical needs. This was the opposite experience for me at the Joint.So now I'm left without a cartridge type that was really helping me and a character assault on top of it.

Great products, staff, and store! They have a different special every day of the week. My favorite is "Hash Wednesday" - all concentrates are buy one, get one half off and the budtenders always provide the best suggestions for all of their products. They even have a nice lounge with couches,  free beverages and a tv to watch while you wait (if it's busy). I usually find myself waiting no longer than 5 minutes. The Joint is my FAVORITE medical shop :)

May I say first and foremost I did not know what to expect when entering the Joint for the first time. When I walked in, I was not quite sure what I was in the mood for. Luckily for me, the staff was so kind, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My sales person Amber helped make my selection so easy. She mentioned the deals and explained to me the taste, quality and effect of each product. First time customer to life long customer. Kudos to The Joint! Excellent.

Rocio greated is immediately with so much kindness. She was extremely knowledgeable on all the products. I love her happy attitude and dedication to the job. I am definitely coming back and would recommend everyone making this there go to place

I can't believe I never reviewed Join Co-Op.I mean, if you're right here, that's one thing. If you're not, it's not worth the travel.Prices used to be way high here. Based on their current menu, it looks like they have gotten more in line with the emerging $10 across the board standard. Still a few $15 entries. Friends, consider yourselves dissuaded, no one in the city should ask this, it's unreasonable. Maybe I'm living in the past, heh, or Fremont.Last piece, the $10 special, granted, this was like a year ago, called "Corleone" (silly), had tons, and tons of seeds. Yeah, $15 for a super seedy experiment. I think not.Folks here are nice enough. Still, probably won't go back.Thanks for listening!

If you say you're open until a specific time, you should stay open until that point; do not rudely tell a customer that you can't sell anything to him or her because it's too close to closing, despite having just witnessed another customer's entire transaction and there still being quite some time before the advertised closing time.

Jenna was super helpful and gave us a bunch of options to choose from. I love the joint and their rewards program rocks. all of the people are always super helpful!

The budtendress was very rude. My buddy had a vertical id and was asked to leave but she had to say "we literally have a sign on the door". Rude! Then made me take my id back out because "she didn't look at it". They're selection and knowledge is also sub par.

Untested meds. Staff is friendly and very knowledgable. Med room is open with people waiting right behind you?1? This is very offputting to say the least. overall good place.

This place has friendly staff and generally has great product if you are a college student and want to get high; but not for the medical patient or anyone wanting to support marijuana culture with their dollar. Prices after tax are generally $12-14 a gram, none of their product has been evaluated (they seem to price things arbitrarily) and the management has refused on numerous occasions to stock high CBD products. Come here to see the future of marijuana as a business model, but not for love or medicine.

This place is pathetic, they stopped weighing it out in front of you and just bring it out from the back, about half of the bags they give you are all shake and almost all of them are under weight. i recently started weighing out the bags i buy and the majority of them have been under weight. This place is VERY VERY NAD, only go if you are close and everything is closing soon, otherwise take the time to go some where else.

I like this place!!  Not a heavy duty smoker - once in awhile at a camping trip or two, have my authorization in hand and was checked in and treated wonderfully!  Nice, easy on the eyes place, professional, classy and sedate in decoration.  The gentleman behind the counter answered all my questions and I ended up purchasing a salve that works wonderfully on my injury.

This place is really nice inside and the selection and quality of Meds is great. The budtender seemed a little snarky to me. It could be my own trip or maybe they are more catered toward the 20-ish crowd. Overall a decent place but there are better out there.

This is the third place I've tried in Seattle.  I was referred by a friend, who enjoys the "special deals" they have on various days of the week!  Visited after shopping at the Saturday U District Market, so it was convenient.  No problems with anything here!  I'd go back again when I am in need and in the U District!

This was the first access point I went to, ever.  I had just received my first authorization nearby and went because it was right next door.The check-in process (and receptionist) was friendly.  The place itself has a slick and attractive waiting area, no complaints there.  However upon being called into the dispensary area I felt rushed.  The budtender pointed out that this was usually the busiest day of the week.  He told me to take my time; however his body language was saying the opposite.  It being my first visit to a dispensary, I wanted to be able to ask some questions and be able to chat for a few.  I felt like I couldn't speak freely, both because I felt more than a bit rushed by him, but also because there was no separation between the bud room and the waiting couches.  Just an open door--you were both visible and could be heard by anyone in the waiting area.  I would've preferred a more private experience when purchasing my medicine. I only had to visit one other dispensary and had a much better experience, and intend to visit many more (and possibly review them).

This is such a wonderful place to go for you medical needs!!! They are so nice and respectful and helpful, they will really take there time to make you always leave happy!!! I mean when you walk into the lobby there's free drinks and stuff. I love the Joint I will always referrer them to anyone that wants a great place to go!!!  I love the girl that helped me too she was so bubbly.

Very expensive store.. their prices are way too high than the other "the joint" stores. They just care more about money over quantity, quality, and service.. (rude staff)..

I'm a senior citizen and was treated as if I was the bum on the street. They didn't have the cartridge I was looking for so I pulled the cardboard backing from my last purchase at Dockside. The dude liked to flip out: "You can't have product in the store!" It was a piece of cardboard.I'd rather stop getting high than support this crap shot.

Shitty..they change the deals and discountsSeriously, if they don't want to serve a customer or take their business, they should just say so. All of a sudden, I can't get discounts for ordering online, and the Friday deal of $2 off 1 gram joints don't count if you don't buy more expensive joints, which is new to me. I ordered two joints online and went to pick them up, and they told me I had to pay the full price because I didn't buy more expensive joints, which is a first. They also stopped giving my the discount for ordering online. They are stupid to think they are the only dispensary in Seattle or the U District. Business is better elsewhere.

Refused to take my vertical ID even though it's two years away from expiring. I've been to plenty of other dispensaries before and I looked  it up and there is no rule requiring an id to be horizontal sooooo whole lotta bullshit for nothin.

Multiple times I have purchased something from there to get home and realize it is broken or defective.   Inquired about it and they said "no refunds no exchanges".  Great store to throw away your money if you want broken vape pens or cartridges.

Shelby is a gem! I stopped in while visiting and needed to pick up, and Shelby listened to my needs and paired an excellent selection of flower and edibles. Lol trash customer service. would almost think they don't want repeat customers. I wasn't trying to be rude by  not taking their first choice they offered I just wanted to see what else they had. They got butt hurt so either theyre not knowledgeable or have bad customer service. GO TO AMERICAN MARY down the road. Much better service an selection!!!! life goes on!

This establishment has proven time and time again to be the worst cannabis shop in the greater Seattle area. The "budtender"  was quite possibly the most vile and arrogant individual I've ever encountered at a weed store.  Will never be going back

I don't go into smoke shops a lot, but not only did they make me feel welcome and explain products, they had the fortitude and awareness to recognize an unsafe situation and make sure my friend and I (both young women) were okay. A dispute broke out outside the shop, and the attendants made sure to tell us we were more than welcome to stay until it was settled and offered to walk us out. Furthermore, instead of focusing on what was happening outside, they redirected us to keep our thoughts occupied on something else and make us feel more at ease. I realize that this might seem like the bare minimum to a lot of people, but unfortunately women live in a world where that isn't the case. So, when people come along like the attendants at this dispensary, it helps to restore my faith in humanity.Thank you for everything guys, places where women can feel safe are few and far between, so thank you for working to make this one of them.

My fav weed shop, they have some great pre-rolls and you can even put in your order online to pick up! Megan helped us out most recently and she was so sweet and very easy to talk to! She made sure we had all the information we needed to make our decision before purchasing. All the employees have awesome attitudes/vibes every time I go in. The only downside about this place is that parking is nearly impossible sometimes (its a cramped little lot on the corner of a main road shared with two other shops). Although should be fine if you’re not trying to hit them up on a Friday or Saturday evening like I always am!

I love and appreciate the assistance that the staff provides. I’m always greeted respectfully and with kindness. It makes me less anxious when talking to the staff about my requests. We often have great conversations, too ? extra points from me! I like trying new things, but I get indecisive at times. Their knowledge/recommendations are always so helpful and dope. I also like to budget. Getting the best deals is what I want and they never fail to deliver or make me feel bad about my penny pinching. I still get fire products? Covid precautions are still in place allowing only a few customers in at a time and require masks. This exemplifies consideration for others, another thing I really appreciate. They get lines sometimes but it moves pretty quickly. This indicating that it’s a pretty popular spot. Worth giving a chance!

LOVE this place. The pricing is outstanding. The selection is incredible. The security is chill, but present. The bud tenders rock. The joints got me baked. Good wheelchair access. I want to give these guys 5 stars, but I did encounter an issue. A LOT of their products were not correctly scanned in their system. By law, they couldn’t sell them to me, since cannabis is a controlled substance. Granted, these guys carry 350-400 unique products, a lot more than most dispensaries. Still, not the perfect retail experience. Of the 6 joints I tried to buy, only 2 strains were available for purchase. I got high AF on the Js I got. However, it’s annoying to be looking at the j you want, but not be able to buy it because of a in-store mistake. I would love to come back and give these guys a 5 star, assuming this issue is corrected.

Security guy working 9/4/2021 was a completely unprofessional individual, who tried to shut me in the door, and got mad I didn't "ask his permission" to come inside. If you're going to work security detail, don't be slouched against the door of the Safeway next door having a conversation with someone when you're supposed to monitor who is walking on and off of your employers property. Also would have been better if the "security" didn't block people from exiting the store either. Everyone inside the store however was very helpful, especially Malcolm. Definitely would consider returning, as long as the security on shift isn't working to drive customers away

Fairly knowledgeable, they always have phatpanda firecrackers which is a plus. I mentioned that DOSE is one of my favorite brands, and although they don't currently sell them, he took the info so they could look into them. I like that level of service Update: So they now carry DOSE, and the list price is higher than most but by the time you do your discounts it balances out. The staff is wonderful. Period full stop
