favorite place to stop since I've moved to Washington. everyone is always super friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and positive!! Great place to stop
Rude and inconsiderate. I had an $80 order, an ounce. I ordered it online due to everything going on, I picked out what I wanted and was sure of it, and on their website they said they're were stocked. I drove 30 minutes to this place to be told they don't have what i picked, so THEY replaced it with something, first of all, update your website because to be so honest, that was the worst social distancing i've seen in a pot shop. everywhere else i am required to go online, and it makes sense in a global pandemic. but secondly, if you didn't have my product a phone call, email, even a TEXT would of been nice. i would've canceled my order and gone elsewhere. Instead I had to deal with a very rude cashier, germs everywhere, and not even get what i came for. Maybe think about closing for a while and getting your stuff together!
They have wonderful people working at Lux and a great selection of products as well. I really like the discount rewards program for customers too.
Pot shop employees are normally the coolest people but NOT here. They are rude, entitled, and extremely unhelpful. 10/10 do not recommend supporting this business.
My first experience at a pot shop and Lux did not disappoint. Very educational and the product is fantastic. I purchased two different strands from them and they are incredible! 10/10 recommend!
This is by far the best dispensary we have been to. Every time we go, the staff are knowledgable and very compassionate, especially when it comes to the medicinal benefits. They have always treated us with dignity and respect, and the product selection is amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Tried to give this pot shop another chance with different workers. But to no avail still snobby and pretentious.I'm not so bothered anymore by the lame approach that all pot shops use nowadays, which is asking you if you want indica or sativa upon entry. That's the worst way to approach a customer and that's not how I buy pot. That's a question you asked for people who have never smoked before and are new to the whole thing, however most people that walk to the door or season cannabis users and a question like that is simply ridiculous and I will tell you why.For 1, the effects of what the Cannabis says it does it's not 100% true to what it says will do, Ive smoked suggestion heavy indicas and felt uplifted all.day, I've also had heavy sativa suggestions and felt like when right to sleep. So asking someone if they want indica or sativa based on if they want to be more sleepy or more uplifted has no real merit. And if that be the case I'd rather buy a strain that I hate that's fresh rather than my favorite strain that's dried up as hell in the package(fyi - feel your buds in the package, if it crunches its way over dried! And they will definitely try to post and sell you this dried up weed like any store tries to rotate the stock.)so whatever I didn't let it bother me and I told her that's not how I buy weed, then the girl over the counter that was helping me or trying to anyways puts on a sarcastic tone and tells me okay well what percent of turpentine level are you looking for? And I was just like , what a snobby salesperson ( or better yet said just not a very good one)and at that point I just turned and walked out while I observed the staff laughing behind me.With so many better places available , this overpriced snobby place doesn't deserve local support. Apparently everybody who works here is perfect. Or maybe it's just a few bad apples that spoil the bunch and need to get rid of those bad apples(fired maybe?)I know that at least four of my friends that I've told the story to will never go back to the Lux as I will never. And if I ever have the conversation of pot dispensaries with someone I will give him the warnings of this place so they don't go through the bad experiences I did. sorry lux.maybe change your name to "sucks"?it must be frustrating as an owner to have these degenerates mis-representing their buisness ethic.womp. womp. womp.
I am a REGULAR here. I absolutely love this shop and exclusively shop here, unless I'm super out of the way. The staff are so incredibly nice and helpful. I like to smoke but I never quite know what to ask for when I walk in, and as long as I know what form (edible, vape, pre-roll, etc.) and what I want to feel the staff are on it. They also allow dogs and my pup frequently enjoys tagging along to be petted and given treats; they sometimes even come from behind the counter to hang out with him when it's slow and he loves it. On top of all of this, it's tons of women and people of color of all sorts of orientations who make me feel so welcome and every time I leave with a smile on my face! This shop deserves aaaalll your business I promise.
I love coming to this dispensary, quality deals with quality weed. Sierra is my favorite budtenders, always willing to help me out with the best products. The energy in this shop is unbelievable, my go to dispo by far, thanks to Sierra :)
Lux provides for an awesome experience, and this is my #1 choice! They also have wonderful employees with knowledge, and experience. Sarah helped me today, but there are countless others that are extremely helpful. I've never had a negative experience there. :-)
super friendly staff and i appreciate their use of they/them pronouns. great customer service, they searched for weed that was on the menu but nowhere to be found in the store and eventually found it and got it to me for a great price. i will definitely come here in the future.
This place is super chill! By far my favorite rec shop. All the employees are really cool and down to earth. They have gone above and beyond just the typical bud tender services. They are knowledgeable and are always trying to help out the customer, no matter what. They have a real sense of community which is a something you don't find at many rec shops. Good work guys!
I was in here for the first time looking for a good deal on concentrates! Not only did I find a good deal, but Alana and George took excellent care of me and we're really knowledgeable about all the products they were selling! I will be returning very soon!
Located in an area with many options for purchasing cannabis products, Lux takes the cake. Very attractive store front, ample parking, knowledgeable staff, and an excellent selection of products. When I'm in the north end, I always shop at Lux.
i had a really bad experience with the manager named talley at the lake city location. customer service retraining greatly is needed.
Just needed some tree before a movie! Misha (lovely and helpful) hooked it up with Strawberry Cough, Maui Wowie and Sour Diesel all for under $40!
Na bra... they charge way too much for items that be found for far cheaper just down the street. Not to mention staff laughed at my epic bowl cut hair, hurt me in the feels.
I cannot say enough good things about this shop. The budtending staff is knowledgeable and the selection is large! They have something for everyone, no matter if you're looking for premium flower or joints or edibles!
i used to go here alot. but after tonight, i definitely wont be back.im transgender and was addressed the wrong gender pronoun. not a big deal. but when i glance back and catch people snickering behind my back... i definitely wont be "BACK".you know for future refernece .. at least wait till the person leaves completely before you decide to make fun of them.unless your "perfect", you shouldn't judge anyone. ill will be going to the many other dispensaries available!! are you kidding me! no thanks to snobby pot shops. there are MANY other places to choose from.
Brown haired girl behind the counter with the gold tooth thing hooked me up on a very, very bad day. I appreciate the humor
This place is awesome! Brand new inside, and stocked full with goodies! Everything from pre-rolls, edibles, flowers, beverages and oils. The selections are endless and the staff is knowledgeable and spectacularly helpful. The can help you with anything you are looking for, or make recommendations if you need. The extended menu goes on and on, but the staff at Stash will help you navigate.
The staff is so incredibly rude and not welcoming at all. There's so many other pot shops in the area, so avoid this one if you can.
I having been going here for some time now, mainly because convenience, i.e. good parking and location. However, their current on-line buying process and their ever shifting inventory have become very frustrating. 1). When shopping on-line, there are filters for indica, hybrid and sativa only. Not very helpful. Hybrids can be either sativa or indica dominant, important to know when buying new strains; which I have to routinely do at this shop because of inconsistent inventory. 2) There is no real on-line description of the strains; the same, exact, 4 words are used to describe every strain I have looked up over the past several weeks. So, basically, I'm having to constantly buy new strains, without knowing very much about them, and if there is one I enjoy, it will probably not be available new time. Argh!
My experience at this Lux was a good one. Though parking was a bit odd there was no line and the girl that helped me was super helpful. Though they didnt have the specific thing i was looking for she was helpful in talking about the differences between things and was able to direct me into something similar to what I had that would work with the pen I had.
Consistently good service from Michele. Apparently I offended an employee ?? I only expected my 10th visit discount. But I don't go where I'm not welcome.
First time ever coming here. I ordered online, but when I got there, they told me they were out of stock of a few items that had showed in stock in their store. They had already switched it out with different products, and didn't really make it clear to me, like, the guy sort of said it quickly in passing but said it was basically all the same stuff. But when I got home and looked closely, I had been switched out one of my sativas for an Indica product, which I can't smoke, and I came in specifically all for enhanced joints and two of them were switched out for regular classic joints, but at the exact same price. ?? I don't understand why they have things listed for sale that they don't have in stock, why they would switch me out for entirely different products, and why I ended up paying full price for things that I didn't want and that were not as high-quality as I had ordered. I pretty much only came here one night because my favorite store was out of stock on the products I wanted, and I ended up still not getting what I wanted anyway, even though I paid more than I would have at my own place. Learned my lesson, won't bother coming back. :(
This is the only dispensary in Seattle that I insist on going to. They always have exactly what I want without having to call ahead or waste a trip. The staff at Lux are always so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They're always ready to give informed suggestions if I'm looking for something new. I've never been disappointed with Lux products or customer service.
I used to visit this shop regularly and enjoyed my time with the budtenders as well as just talking about cannabis in general. Within the last year, I feel like the overall attitude of the shop has changed and has a much different feel than what it used to be. The budtenders are not rude or mean to me but they do not seem very enthusiastic to help me with my transactions and just going through the motions. Now it just seems like an expensive high-end shop that puts the dollar before anything else.
I went in to check it out( first time there) the guy helping me told me there was a book filled with 1 oz of prerolled flower for $165. I considered buying a pack or 2 of pre rolls from the same brand because a oz of pre rolls is a lot. But then I realized that 2 packs was like $60 and the guy told me there where 8 packs in the book of saints for $165. So I bought the book of saints and when I got home I found out there are only 4 packs of 5 joints. That's $8.25 per pre-roll. The shop right next to my house has way better deals. I'm super disappointed to find out that I'm missing a half ounce from with the bud tender told me I would receive. I called the manager and explain the situation and they offered me 30% off my next purchase. I do think that is nice of them but I never would've purchased $165 book if I knew it only had 20 joints instead of 40. Feeling deceived and ripped off.
I like going to Lux because it's the highest quality bud in the whole Seattle area. That being said, the price point is steep but at least I know it's going to a business that donates to Seattle Equity Now and does promotions in partnership with Last Prisoner Project.
Had a lackluster experience at the Ballard one a few days ago, but the FREMONT experience was amazing. They truly go out of their way for customer service and the team that works there is absolutely next level. DEFINITELY go to the gorgeous FREMONT location.
Has gone very corporate (well trying to be as much as possible). Wants to be the best shop, at the expense of the employees and customers.
My friend and I go out of our way to go to this shop. It's clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful! On numerous occasions, glorious Chloe has taken the time to listen to our needs, then gets multiple options and explains the differences. A+++ customer service and vibe. You are all amazing - thank you!
Good selection of top shelf products, however most of it is unreasonably over priced. The majority of the items sold here can be found somewhere else for cheaper. Their turnover rate is high, after witnessing over twenty people quit within a year. Lux doesn’t listen/take care of their employees properly. (which is unfortunate because their staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.)
This place is great. Always have something new to try, and the budtenders have never steered me wrong. Seriously great service.
Nice shop. Products are a bit expensive but the vibe is chill and the staff is knowledgeable. Part of your money is going to keep up the atmosphere, but I like it. I don’t mind paying a little more to shop somewhere that is fun to look at. A lot of lake city shops / stores are shady or run down. I appreciate that they put effort into keeping it up. They also let me put my expensive bike inside the store while I shop. It’s a nice plus.
