Have a Heart was super awesome back when they were on Aurora. Man, I loved going there - people were so mellow, friendly and knowledgeable. And they were pretty good when they moved to Greenwood, for a while. But I realized today that it's been months since I've had better than a "just ok" experience there. I will say that the guy that works the door is always cool. But the budtenders seem to just want you to go away asap and they will "recommend" something seemingly at random. Example from a while back: I said I was interested in sativa, he grabbed two indicas and a hybrid, and was annoyed when I reiterated that I wanted sativa. So I started ordering online before heading to the shop. Now, they tell you the order is ready, but when you get there, they've substituted "similar" products.
This place has a nice atmosphere. They generally have a broad selection of everything and the staff is always really knowledgeable. They have doggy treats inside and your pet is allowed to enter with you- on leash of course. Not much for parking outside but the staff is fairly quick at serving you. They also have an attractive staff
This dispensary is close to me - I'd very much like to use it. However, I use a wheelchair. While it's possible to get into and out of the building in said wheelchair, the door is so big and heavy that it's pretty much impossible to open for someone in a chair.
Made an account just to make a review . I go to have a heart kinda often and one of my favorite bud tenders would be Ian ! Literally goes above and beyond to find what I need and always has good recommendations and I've never had a complain ! Please keep him around he always makes sure I get the best ! I heard he's usually in the Belltown location but I would love for him to be at the greenwood one!!!A loyal customer
Hubby and I are stoked this is in our neighborhood. They employ some of the top notch professionals. We've been to others and always feel rushed or feel too stuffy to shop at. Their prices are wayyy better as well.We are always greeted by security to budtenders with a smile & courtesy - which is a great way to start your experience in the store. And, they don't receive tips! Or do they??I left my drivers license there one late evening, not realizing it was missing until next day faced with SEATAC security! Gasp!!! Panic!! Where??? How??? My family will leave me to enjoy a vacation without me!Fear not, got through security without DL and after the mini storm, I realized I left it at HAH! Manager/staff sent me an email with my DL photo and the rest was a lovely vacation! I don't get carded anymore so no DL wasn't an issue Thanks everyone for helping me out!!!You guys are super! We've been coming to you since opening day.
This was the second of my Have a Heart stores I visited. After going to Belltown first while staying on the Downtown Seattle I was shocked at the lack of lines being able to place orders at the counter.There was the usual awesome variety of products and knowledgeable, friendly budtenders, which was fantastic, especially being from out of town.I definitely plan on coming back!
this is supposed to be a high end dispensary, i took home some joints that i purchased there and unrolled one to put the weed in my bong, because i like to do both in the same sitting, it was filled with shredded up pieces of green paper, i won't ever be returning and i'm telling everyone i know not to go there.
My favorite weed store so far! Have been disappointed for one reason or another by every other shop I've been to. I just love going into Have a Heart Greenwood! Great selection, decent peeps behind the counter, good prices and sweet deals! We just moved closer to their Lake Forest Park location and will be checking it out soon. Hopefully it's just as cool as the Greenwood store. Although, even if it is just as good, I'll still be going to the Greenwood store often
The worst service i have ever encountered by ONE GUY Luis Bernsten Passive aggressive out of nowhere and not just once but Multiple times. For no reason! I was very pleasant and this person just could not contain his contempt. They lost a customer for sure.
I've been coming here since they opened. They just started refusing to let me use my loyalty program points, which is the difference of about 15-20% extra cost now. What is the point of a loyalty program if you aren't loyal to me? I'll have to go elsewhere for a better deal... They've been raising prices too, its covid guys, why are you raising prices?
Tony C. was really great. He was patient with my questions and had some knowledge of the products and their affects. I asked to look at a few different strains and he was more than happy to help me find the right bud. With the medical community down after recreational became legal, this type of person is exactly what we've been missing. He knows the product and can speak to the medical side on a professional level. We need more people like Tony working the counter. Give this man a raise and model other employees after him.
At first I liked this place. NOW there is this new guy( looks Asian, has a ponytail, talks like a bitch) every time I come in there I'm always on the phone talking to who I'm talking to because it's my phone and my business. He has the nerve to tell me to get off my phone because he doesn't know if I'm talking to a minor. I could be on the phone talking to anyone about anything. YOUR job is to be a sales associate and sell fucking weed. Not worry about my phone. Stupid bitch. So I walked out and left and told them Fuck their shop. EVERYONE GO TO GREENWORKS CANNABIS, THEY ARE WAY BETTER! RESPECTFUL, COOL, MORE VARIETY STAYS OPEN UNTIL 11:45pm, HAS DAILY DEALS ON DIFFERENT PRODUCTS & MORE. Go to DAVIN he is my guy
The service is pretty consistent. Always nice and very helpful. It also helps that is only a few blocks away. Definitely recommend!
Staff is very unhelpful and rude, Why even have a preorder line if you don't service it. Apparently there is a "cut in line" for preorders yet I was just standing there and they just kept taking people from the regular line. After 15 minutes I decided to just get in the regular line so I can get some service. This was my first and last time here. It didn't help that the meds recommended by the staff was harsh and old too. I highly urge smokers to go elsewhere, there are tons of other options in the area.
Always have great selection and very helpful staff - they don't make you feel like an idiot if you are new to recreational weed. Website shows weekly deals at all of their locations. Friendly Security at the door and ATM inside
The staff member we encountered was super rude and unwelcoming. He got annoyed when my out of town friends asked two questions about the weed they were buying. His response was (w/ a $#!t attitude) "do you guys need to go look at the glass case? They have all of our strains in there." Umm is the glass case able to answer questions about what preroll will be best for the type of high they were looking for? We were at the counter for less than 30 seconds before he started throwing attitude and being rude AF. Spend your $ somewhere else.

The "doorman", Donald was such a prick that he insisted on announcing my name to the entire line of people behind me even though we both know we are committing a federal crime. When I asked him not to give away my private information, he told me he was being harassed and I was told to leave to property.
ALWAYS check your receipt BEFORE LEAVING to be sure you didn't get overcharged. They've done this to me twice, and seem to find it amusing to make disabled customers drive back and forth fixing their mathematical incompetence. The place is small, disorganized, and noisy; a mildly unpleasant experience before the habitual accounting "errors."Trees has nicer staff and a better selection of concentrates. They can do basic arithmetic, as well; and thus shall earn the dollars I would have spent at Have a Heart.
I would have to say that I normally love have a heart in Greenwood. On my birthday this year I turned 45 and all I wanted to do was smoke a j and chill out at home except I can't even make it through the front door as my license expired on my birthday. ...... a few days later I go to the DMV and get my license renewed and the DMV gives me this paper and takes my hard copy of my license, leaving me with out a picture I.D. in plastic form. And guess what have a heart won't except the paper I.D. that the DMV gave me today .... so no weed for me still,and no weed for me for the next 6 to 10 days as I wait for my plastic I.D. why oh why after being a customer of have a heart for more than 2 years can I not just buy what I want to buy. I think I may just have to go elsewhere from now on
I'm from out of town where we have access to a handful of rec shop options which has made finding a great rec shop in Seattle hard, thus far this location is my favorite. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and definitely pointed out a ton of deal. I was definitely treated as a priority. From now on Have A Heart is my #1 shop in Seattle
Not my favorite, but the selection was alright. I got what I needed, I just didn't see anything new or exciting to try. Going to keep exploring my options. Friendly budtenders though.
Being new to the MMJ scene I was more curious than anything when I ventured inside Have a Heart. I had shopped at some MMJ stores in Seattle and so I had an idea what to expect. Josh, Taylor and Clayton are great Bud tenders.. there are more there but sorry I have forgotten your names! They are so professional and don't make an old fogey like me feel stupid for asking questions. ( My goodness things have changed since college!!). What a great selection and there are specials almost every night. I am finally able to sleep well at night without chemicals (or wine!). Being a fiber artist I use....and abuse... my hands on a daily basis but with the help of the Have a Heart crew I have found the perfect level of CBDs that has all but alleviated the need for nightly anti inflammatory pills.. ( which were tearing up my stomach).I definitely recommend them, They are getting busier so you may have a few minutes wait before they call you into the back...but they usually have snacks out front and magazines and tv.Its still a cash only transaction but they do have plans for an ATM machine ( its in there but not hooked up)...and remember to TIP your budtender!
Nice selection of cannabis some great vendors in there the staff is realy friendly not really much parking but I parked at the Safeway across the street . Just heard they are about to stock house of Cultivar so I will deff be back . Thanks have a heart !!!!
I don't really believe that I'm still in Seattle when I go here because everyone is so friendly. Most times I'm here Paul helps me out. He has great recommendations and an amazing memory.
Stay for the products, leave for the sexist staff. I was going into this shop with some friends when a guy passing by on the street cat called me. I answered back to him basically telling him that his comments were unwanted. The man got upset and the bouncer from the shop consoled him by saying, "don't worry...it's her fault" as if it was my fault that I had upset him by defending myself. When I made an upset face the bouncer looked at me surprised and said , "is there a problem?" Yes. There is a problem. You should not defend people harassing women in the hope that they buy from you. This establishments employees apparently value revenue over respect for women.
Love everyone here! Most dispensaries have similar inventory so for me it comes down to the people. Everyone here is super nice and helpful, even the guys at the door are cool. Assuming the staff doesn't leave like my last place I'll be going here for a while!

Edited to lower score due to even more inconsistent handling of their pre order system. Now my products aren't being bagged like the rest or it's not being pulled. I've been loyal and generally kind to the staff, tipping almost every time I purchase something. I only am short after a long day or when getting poor customer service. It's definitely making me miss the delivery services we had before laws made them incapable of surviving.Note my review below took place BEFORE this store was robbed.Staff generally is super awesome and store is well maintained. Their stock is often low, half of their signs read out of stock and then it's a gamble when you get to the counter if they actually have what you want or not. As I've learned after several times, it doesn't matter what the sign says in the cases.What has helped with this is their online pre ordering. Only the stock available is on there and you get a text once the order is filled. I also expected/assumed that if somehow product I ordered wasn't in stock, I would get a call. WRONG. I showed up last night to get my pre order, and the worker told me that they didn't have what I ordered though the system said they did. I barely knew what to say as I was pretty annoyed. Why did I get a text confirmation that my order was filled and ready when that was not at all the case? I should have gotten a call so I could have known and had another strain (or two) picked out when I arrived. Instead, the dude helping me asked me over and over again what else I wanted before he would recommend something. I asked if he had pulled something else and he said no because "he didn't know the price point or strain" I wanted. Well, I think the thing I had pre ordered would have told you the amount of money I was willing to spend AND the type of strain I wanted. If there was any confusion or concern, a phone call should have been made instead of an empty paper bag getting my name stapled to it. But silly me for expecting customer service I expect from any and all retailers.I enjoy this place for convenience and the online ordering does help save me some time and (usually) headache. Just be prepared no matter how you shop that they won't have the strain you want because they're not good at keeping up on signage/inventory. And if you go there during rush hour times, often there are three, maybe four people working so things can move pretty slow.
Want to give a shout out to Jeff and Jess even if the phone is the only way you can communicate it's from their heart. If your medical that means everything if you're human being that means everything go here first! There's a place on all right it's cheap but it's crap. If you want medicine and you want to legit shit and you are legit people that give a shit about you go to Have a heart Greenwood in Seattle Washington! Much love one love y'all more than one life! Years later and I'm still live in this place!!!
This place was great! Amber the was amazing and very knowledgeable on the products. She gave me a variety of items to choose from, understood what i needed and gave me a great selection

This place would be so much better if they didn't have that door man right by the door. He takes it way too seriously and makes the place seem more strict than it needs to be, It's just pot.
overwhelming... and not in a good way. this isn't the only rec place that is like this but it's super unorganized, no one knows if they actually have a certain amount in a certain kind and the quality is kind of blah. they might have every flavor under the sun but good luck finding it! hope this place improves because I really liked going to the medical one in the u district. this was just stressful. good thing I bought something, time to unwind.

Came in for a battery replacement, as my cartridge was burning through, killing the battery! The team really took care of me and made it right TWICE in a row (cartridge burned through the new battery as soon as I left). Really appreciate the level of service and understanding to fix it!
I pre-ordered something today and received a txt that my order was filled. When I got to the store and asked for my order, half of it was not available. This is just an obvious bait and switch. They claim to have the product and when you get there, you're forced to choose something else. That's a huge waste of my time and effort. I would not recommend playing a pre order or using Have a Heart Shops. This is the second time I've had a problem buying product at a Have a heart store in less than a year. Thank again for telling me my order was filled when it was not. I have no idea how you make this mistake. And my phone is included, you could have called me and explained.
I've been coming here frequently for more than a year. The bud tenders are usually friendly and knowledgeable. My last purchase i got this pack of joints that was terrible. After smoking one i just felt kind of tired and gross. I went back to the store the next date to ask about the harvest date and tell them my experience for anyone else who was going to buy them. The lady that helped me was so rude i almost just left without finishing my transaction. She didn't say anything about what might have caused this , and then said i need to immediately put the joint container i had brought back, into my bag. It was like i was being accused of something. Im never going back to the greenwood location. (Joints i got we're the strawberry cough preforms from Trucanna)
This is a pretty great pot store overall but I am very disappointed because it's one thing to offer 40% discount on tinctures and things and then to hike up the price 35% on those items. What's the point of the sale? And now the new pricing is permanent when the sale ends. That adds up when you're having to buy these things weekly it's time to find a new place for me.

I'm A AA Member and The Owner put A Place In Back and uses it to have one night to take away from its purpose so he can get attention for himself. He Can't Sing But gets people to show up by playing some game That Offers Money But Again it's all A BIG JOKE!!! He was bragging to someone and I noticed it and made a comment Well don't laugh at Kelly As I Found Out later he does not have any Conscience he Played Me to believe he was a friend but he was actually thinking of me As Prey he talks up Some Multiple Decades Of Sobriety but When he had me alone in the Alley he Said he was interested in being my AA Sponsor When I Declined He Gave Me A Hug I Thought But Bear Hugged me around my waist Really Tight and Then Lowered His Weight and my spine bent. I got injured and 7 months later I'm not back to my old 61 year Old self. At that time I thought it wasn't intended but when I looked back he dropped all his weight and was turning his head when I Confronted this Later He said I did not hug you and later said he is homophobic and does not hug Guys. I am Straight by the way. Be careful with this Guy he Isn't Correct Something isn't rightIf You Laugh at him for being a drug Dealer And A Good 12lve Step Guy Too. He Will Injure You. Somebody help this 12 Step Group move out so he can't control it Because that's not How It's Set Uo But He Wants Control And Wants To Be Thought of As Some Big Player And A Guy With A Good Program. He Is Poison And A real good candidate for something that could happen way worse to someone than what I've suffered.I don't want to be a customer at the pot store for pain Management. Everything I've said Is Fact. And not driven out of Wrong Motives. The truth is needed more in our world more than ever.

I called the Greenwood branch and asked if I could order a couple cartridges over the phone because I am house bound so my husband (who doesn't know anything about marijuana and doesn't want to either) can go pick it up. I was told No, I couldn't order over the phone and to go on line. He had told me he had 2 cartridges right there that he simply could have set aside. EASILY!! But no, he made me go to the website (which most Often us Not up to date and Wrong a lot). I was looking for a High potency in the 93%, or 95% range. I went and looked on the site hoping to simply Order a couple cartridges and once again it failed. There were No %'s except for 1 cartridge at 86%, which was lower than I was looking for. None of the other Cartridges have %'s listed which makes it Impossible for me to order the Right Cartridges. I couldn't Order with out knowing. So I called the Greenwood branch Back and spoke with a different employee who was equally condescending and snotty as the first person. He said they don't like to shop for people over the phone and the reason you don't put the %'s on the website is because the %'s Change between every batch and basically too much work to update. The guy asked me How I was going to pick the order up if I'm housebound (snarky rude), I told him my Husband (who doesn't know or want to know anything about weed and hates going to get it in the first place) the guy said that I should order online Anyway without knowing the %'s and when my husband picks it up he can check and be sure it's the right % and if not he could switch it out. I kept hitting Brick Wall after Brick Wall and this isn't the first time I've had one of the employees talk down to me too and be rude to me for calling to try to place an order. I am still a Customer, Right? I still spend A LOT of money at your establishment. I feel like I'm being Stonewalled from ordering and paying for 2 Cartridges. I even asked him if I should call some where else. He told me he said that that was my prerogative and said "IM TRYYYYING To Tell You..." like we're having an argument. I feel like I HAVE TO use a different service because the Customer Service at Have A Heart Greenwood branch don't see to respect or even LIKE their customers and that we're a drag and annoying them. It's really shocking and Incredibly disappointing. Just FYI, I write Reviews as part of my career, I've said Glowing things about your service before, but after this happening Multiple times (to the point that I am Almost having an Anxiety Attack just waiting for them to answer the phone) They basically make me feel like a piece of shit when I call. There have been only a small number of times when the BudTender was Actually Nice to me and helped me without incident. It only took 2 or 3 minutes total. About the same amount of time it would take were I healthy and able to come in to the shop myself. I don't see the difference and No One can tell why they refuse to help me. I just really can't believe they treat customers this way. Even though I have to Call, I am STILL a Paying Customer who should be treated respectfully and kindly at the very least. I'm just soo disappointed and upset. He said that he wasn't "Supposed To" tell me what the Cartridges %'s are Over the phone and I have to come in or order on line without knowing what %'s I'm Buying!!!????!!!! Seriously??? I'm a little bit pissed off actually. I don't like being pissed off. It's bad for my heart.I feel I'm left no choice but to stop shopping at your store. I don't feel welcome what so ever!! Sooo Incredibly Shocking!! Because ALLLLL the TIME it took him to deny deny deny me service, he could had grabbed the cartilages, put them in a bag with Mike E. written on the outside and off the phone with me 10x Over!!!! He could have helped me, but chose to deny my requests because it would take too much time and they only Cater to customers who come in to your establishment and those who order through the website. If the website were updated consistently like a normal business, I would have Ordered in a flash. Choosing to shut me down for that entire time, instead of just easily helping me and quickly Finished, I will not be writing a good review. This pushed it over the line. And Not the first time. Customer Service should be exactly That. Customer Service. The way they have chosen to deal with my request is NOT Customer Service. They are BULLIES!! They act like the customers are trash and annoying for taking up Any of their time and that they just want us to Get Out and Shut Up. That's NOT how I expect to be treated in a company that revolves around its Customers Bank Accounts. We Pay Your Paycheck. Super easy. Scanned ID at door, walked in and asked for my strain (I95 - just a gram), budtender had it within 30 seconds, and then paid and left. Would recommend. People were also free to look
