Super friendly staff! Highly recommend checking this shop out! They have a frequent flier program thats like 10% off every tenth visit.Great selection, convenient location. Top tier bud
Being in Magnolia, this is the closest pot shop. The prices are a little high but tbh the main reason I come back is the peoplez. Carson (I really hope I got his name right...) is amazing. I got lucky one time and got to work with him when he was working at the counter. He now works in the back doing amazing stuff like making the kick ass menus!I ask for him specifically now whenever I come in because he let's me take my time, answers all my (many) questions and always has dope suggestions. He is the kinda dude you wish you could go smoke with after you leave, fo sho! Every time I go home with something he has suggested, I'm always really happy with the choice!Thank you for always being amazing and always sending me home with dope ass weed. You always hook it up! :)
Not sure what to make of any retail that changes policy and lies about it, causing a scene and blaming the customer. Credit to floor supervisor who interceded, explained policy change -- a little too late, but at least she did so. I managed retail and would have fired the employee for her rude treatment to customer and disruption to all.I should ad that I was next to the customer and heard the employee lie to her. I know she lied cause I was confused about the ID policy too and have been coming here when they opened as STASH. Got to wonder why they changed the name, have many new employees and were shut down last month.Just be honest people.
Black Friday they sold me dabs that had a best by date of 2017 over a year past their prime. Now I have a bag full of terrible dabs.... thanks for the deal!
More expensive then competitors and everyone looks miserable. Don't love the menu system either. It's clunky. I've shopped here (about every other day) for 3 years and not a single employee recognized me.
First time going into Lux since I live down the street and I walked in and was helped immediately! Not a huge smoker but i said what i wanted and the guy helping me brought 6 different options from 3 different brands and gave me a description on each of them helping me pick the one that fit my needs. I signed up for the rewards they had and will be coming back, thank you!
David is lovely! Always recommends the perfect stuff! 10/10 experience every time I go!
Hands down one of the best recreational shops in the 206! The staff is bad ass, their leafly deals are rad, the atmosphere of the shop is tidy and professional. The Budtenders take their time with you and answer any questions you have. I dig that they ask each other when they don't know the best option. It's reassuring as a cannabis enthusiast that they help you find exactly what you're looking without pressuring a sale.Do yourself a favor and swing by!
This pot shop offers a modern, clean and bright design, friendly staff and a huge variety of products (from all kinds of flowers, concentrates to edibles, lemonades, oils and accessories).Bring your ID & some cash (or use the ATM inside), make up your mind what to get and have a chat with one of the nice people behind the counter. Parking is free in front of the store which is very convenient.
This place walked me through the usage of CBD to help manage my pain from my service in Iraq. Very knowledge and patient.Great friendly staff and welcoming location.
Prices are pretty high and selection is limited to brands I've tried but I don't care for. I've been smoking for many years now and I know my weed. They also don't have many indicas so if you're into that, go else where. Really disappointed since they're so close to where I was, but I guess you're paying for convenience. Left empty handed *sad face*
I'd never tried pot before but I had an idea of what I wanted. The sales lady seemed less sure. Eventually she took out boxes of different pills, looked at them, and suggested one. The box said they were sleeping pills, which wasn't what I told her I wanted, but I figured she knew better than me. Wrong. They really were sleeping pills (and not even as good as Ambien). Plus, I noticed later the box said they expired last month. So, warning to newbies that if you don't just want something typical, you might get ripped off. It was about $50 for 15 pills, and I took 1.
Great store, a little more spendy than my regular spot but they have things my regular spot doesn't carry.
I've been a customer of theirs since they opened, mostly because they're closest to where I live, and even after they reopended after being busted for selling to minors. I've never been particularly impressed with the place and often find that they're out the products listed on their website. "Oh man, we're out of that". AKA, bait and switch. But they're close. It's embarrassing to admit that that's been my sole reason for going there.I decided to try a refillable vape cartridge and took the recommendation of a guy who, I realized at the time, wasn't someone to seek advice from about pretty much anything, but what the hell, it never hurts to be polite and nice. Plus, he said if I had any problems to return it for a refund. The cartridge and refill system he recommended was one of the most laughably designed contraptions of any kind that I've ever had the pleasure of wasting 50+ bucks on, and I literally could not get one hit on the thing. When I went to return it a couple of hours later, the first time I've ever returned product there, another 'hey man what's happening' stoner was at the front counter. When I showed him the problem, and told him it simply didn't work, he screwed up his face, cocked his head, and said, 'yeah man, I usually just eat the stuff', and that he'd have to talk to the manager, who apparently was in the back room of their stuffy little shop, which reminds me of a TSA security line at Sea-Tac. After about 10 minutes he came back. And although I'm grateful for not having to listen to their no doubt Bevis and Butthead-like conversation, I was told that the great men had decided that I could buy another one these great vape systems for only half price! Final offer.Find another pot shop. At these prices, and considering the inventory issues, the sketchiness of some of the staff, their failure to guarantee their product, and the rude and indifferent response to defective products, not to mention selling to minors in the past, believe me, this is not a business you want to establish any kind of relationship with, despite all the smarmy "hey man how's it going' jive. There are far better options out there, and if nothing else, I thank them for motivating me to explore them. In a word....run!And for the woman who works there who's birthday is May 14, a day after mine - you can do better than this.Update: I just figured out that they sold me a dab syringe rather than a vape refill applicator, which I got at Have a Heart, for 10% less than I would have paid for the same product at Lux. Question: How many people does it take to recognize the difference between a dab syringe and and vape oil applicator? At Lux, apparently more than 3.
Awesome customer service and insight! Highly recommended in this neighborhood. The staff is attentive and courteous. Professional atmosphere and staff make it a joy to come here.
These guys are all awesome. I use cannibus for medical reasons and find the people at Lux very helpful. The new place Darkside as I call them in Ballard is not worth checking out with Lux in the area, they are top notch.
The only dispensary I'll go to anymore. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and non judgmental. Don't make you feel stupid for asking questions. 10/10 would recommend
Great customer service, very knowledgable employees..definitely will visit the next time im back in Seattle. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Seattle.
Friendliest and most knowledgeable staff. Come in with a plan or without one and these guys will set you up right.
I agree with other posts that DAVID is the guy to go to guy. Definitely asks the right questions and is very intuitive. And always love this shop in general. The people and vibe are amazing.
As always the service is great and the budtenders are always helpful and knowledgeable products are great I recommend this company
My favorite place because they always help me find what I need. The budtenders are top notch and have given solid advice when choosing bud.10/10 will shop there again!
Staff was beyond rude and the prices are way too high for what I was buying. The weed barley got me high for more than 10 miniutes and the girl with glasses said "you wont be disapointed" and that was after I told her I had a very high tolerance. SHe talked me into buying weed that was overhyped and not effective. She seemed so sure but it didnt work. Im finally going to branch out this week and go see what else is out there.
Always friendly and helpful! Nice facility and easy parking. Good assortment of products.
Be careful of there website online ordering system they will show a product in a high THC you will put in your cart but when you get there they will give the brand and product you ordered but it will be a much lower THC. I order 28% but got the same brand and name in only 17% big difference. They switch to a much lower THC but show it on line at much higher.
I loved this place ! The staff was knowledgeable and answered all my questions being that I was visiting and it was my first time to purchase from a dispensary EVER. I was a literal 'kid in a candy store'. This just added a lot of goodness to my trip to Seattle.
Helped me a ton with buying product for daughter facing scary surgery, wanting to minimize opioid use. I would recommend to anybody. Knowledgeable, friendly even to this older, conservative looking mom. Thanks.
Stash has been a great addition to the legal pot scene in Seattle. The Ballard location is great about keeping their online menu up to date, the newer location in Lake City is not as good at doing the same. The budtenders are uniformly well versed in their product offering and on the rare occasion they have recently run out of something have done a great job recommending alternatives. They have four or five parking spots out front, maybe a couple more if someone parks along the sidewalk and in this area of Ballard there has always been street parking available when I have stopped in. Both locations have a great clean feel to them, with lots of natural wood and a Swedish modern design. I also appreciate that they when they check ID's they don't scan them like some other large retailer has been known to do.
Today I went into Stash I told the women that I didn't want my driver license scanned. She goes back to get managers approval. He comes out and gives me approval. I question as to why they are scanning licenses it seemed to make the manager upset. He then refused to sell me anything and asked me to leave. I did. I don't believe the current laws require scanning of a driver license. It's not being done in other shops. The impertinent manager gave no reason why the need to scan. Really showing a lack of respect for I think a pertinent question. Even more disrespect asking me to leave. Especially with the smirking manager giving me the peace sign. Total disrespect .
Decent dispensary. Everyone is very knowledgeable and the line goes really fast. I have to knock a star for only accepting cash however the do have a nice selection. Would I go out of my way for Lux? Nope. But if it's close, I'd recommend.
These guys come from a medical background, they are extremely knowledgable and will allow you to take as much time as you need when making your decision. When you walk in, the first thing you see is "Community. Culture. Cannabis" and they really seek to make everyone who goes thru the doors feel right at home. Awesome staff and selection, one of my favorite shops in the state!
Super friendly workers very inviting. Was a bit intimidated at first because it was new and fancy looking but it was pretty awesome and they have really awesome products !!!!
A beautiful storefront, great oil & edible selection, usually no line & the cheapest ATM fee (i think it's $1.50). My favorite shop in Seattle.
Horrible products and customer service. Sold me a bad product and would not honor exchange policy. If you like to be treated badly and experience rude service this is the place. I saw a customer freak out and start cussing at the manager, they are that bad. I felt bad for the customer as he was sold a broken product that didn't work. At least give him exchange credit. The manager Aaron is extremely unprofessional and rude.
Great storefront in a good location.. walk in the door and smell the yummy-ness! The nicest people and very knowledgeable..
The nicest budtender I've interacted with!!! I'm not super knowledgeable and she didn't make me feel like an idiot. And everyone in there had their dog with them, including me! Great place, will be back for sure!
Really not a great place. Awesome that they have a detailed, extensive menu, but all of their flower was SUPER stale and old. Bud tender recommended a strain of sativa and I asked to smell it and it was it was clearly old, which he admitted. I rolled the dice and went with amnesia haze just in hopes to get something fresh , different from his recommendation, and it was so dry and old. It was dated at 9/15/15 and I bought it on 3/4/16. Why are they selling such old product? Everything was prepackaged and BS. Shame on me for expecting to get fresh product at the shop, but shame on them for not pushing quality. I'll never come back, despite the kind (though misleading) customer service and wide selection.
Most clean, bright, and professional thc joint in the area. The staff greets you with smiles and welcomes you into the world of legal marijuana. They will glady answer all your questions and get you exactly what you're looking for. Totally recommended this place!
Common experience here: walk in, look at menu, ask for "__" -- "sorry, sold out". Rinse and repeat. Not unusual to have my first three choices sold out. Usually, when I do finally get some bud the listed potency on the menu is at least a few percent higher than what is on the packaging.Prices are not all that great either especially if you are looking to buy in bulk. Weed tenders seem average at best as well although with the menu usually so out dated I can understand they get frustrated as well digging around for stuff that has been sold out for weeks.Parking lot literally has room for two cars and street parking nearby is usually limited. If this place wasn't literally two blocks away I'd probably never ever come here, walking or driving or otherwise. There are better bud shops in town.
Attractive storefront. Knowledgeable staff. Excellent selection. Best shop in the area!
I'm in my 60s and the first remark from the staff was show me your ID. Seemed unnecessary and hostile, I'm going elsewhere! I was clearly old enough and hadn't asked to buy anything.
Holy wow wow wow. First thing I noticed as soon I walked in was how sexy everyone is. Good lord. Especially that Carson fella. Kind of reminds me of sexy penguin or something. Anywaysss they're real nice too, I've never felt more like a real woman. I've been treated like a real chump at other pot shops... and at home.. and by my dad.. but not here.. also the weed is so good I forget that about how lonely and sad I am and the prices are so good that I never have to spend another minute sober facing the reality that life suxxx. Lux and code red Mountain Dew are the only things that are keeping me going in life
Hands down the best in Seattle! Best selection of products and top notch staff!
Super over priced. $3.50 ATM charge. Poor customer service. I would recommend Herbs House, 5 minute drive north.
I love this place!! Super friendly staff, very knowledgeable about their wide selection. Greg patiently explained lots of options to me until I made my decision. No wait either time I've been. Lowest ATM fees in town, what else could you ask for?
Now I would like to start this off by saying all previous experiences until today 10/29/2016 have been quite enjoyable. That being said... 1 day ago I went into the shop to get a certain product. I only use two products of this nature due to the inconsistenty in quality I've dealt with in the past. I am referring to the prefilled cartridges. The only two brands I use and I've only had to take back once each is the brand Nectar and liberty reach(others have been a complete wash). As I was saying 1 day ago I went in the store with the intention of buying a liberty cartridge. The nice cashier said we just got a new product in and they highly recommend it. I was hesitant due to the fact I've bought hundreds of cartridges and half have been defective except as I stated prior with the two brands I mentioned. But because of his review of the product and comment about "if you don't like it we can just exchange it" I bought it. Went home tried the product and not only was the product quite unpleasant it was of course defective. I immediately got a bad headache which is not something one is looking for when they are trying to eliminate pain and anxiety. So as the recipient states all sales are final unless the electronics are broken. Which they were... But more than that it made me Ill (worst headache of my life). T oday 10/30/16 i made my way back into the store with recipient and product in hand as well as a bag of about 70 empty cartridges I've purchased from them to validate the fact I was not trying to scam them. I was greeted by a man which I've seen there quite often explained the situation and he was immediately empathetic and said he would get the manager as he could not do exchanges or returns himself. I was approached by the manager who's name is (Arron W) and I once again told the story of how the product was not working and made me ill. His initial response was not what I expected since all previous experiences were so good. He looked at me and said "so does it work or not?" I once again told him what happened hoping for the same empathy his employee had expressed, instead once I told him he looked at his employee as if to say excuse my French but F this guy and said he wanted me to be quiet because he had 20 things going on and I was being negative. Now at this point shocked and fairly dismayed I was given the option of getting a replacement of the same product. I was not sure exactly sure at this time if he knew how unprofessional he looked as his employee looked at me shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I told him again what happened and once again was told I was being negative and he did not want to hear it. He offered a replacement in which I was fine with. I would get the product I came in for yesterday get the difference which was about 15$ and go home feeling worse then when I walked in. Instead he haned me the product and did not offer to make up the difference with more product or cash. Now I was very frustrated by this so I asked Arron what as a customer I could have done to not have had this experience... Verbatim he said "if u keep saying the same negative thing over and over you would have a better experience" which I replied that I was looking for the manager to validate that I had a bad experience and try to amend it. He rolled his eyes mumbled something I think was a curse word and walked to the back. I stood there not sure exactly what was going on I had a replacement product that was 25$ and was assuming he was either going to get me a I don't know something and my change. I waited for 5 minutes looking around while people in store stared at me as he finally returned from the back. He asked for my name and hand me 12$ and walked away. I said thank you and left. On the drive home I noticed a man with a I'm guessing was a 3yr old in the rain with an umbrella and I sign saying he was not homeless but wanted to take his son to game work(an arcade) so I gave the man the 12$ + 5 I had in my pocket and told him I hope they have fun(so hopefully him and his son would have a better day then I was having). All in all it was a very bad experience and hope it does not happen to anyone else. I understand that businesses get busy and being a manager can be stressful however I left that store feeling demeaned, disrespected and well bad. 99% of my experiences there have been 5 star however the last manager gets minus 5 stars so thats why I think 3 stars is an appropriate medium.
This shop is ok. Not the greatest by any means. The location is convenient as there isn't any other shops around this area (Ballard.) The budtenders are friendly enough, but it's obvious they don't want people to take their time in deciding what they want. Another annoying thing is they don't give you an option on which package to buy. What they pull from inventory and hand you is what you get. Some of the other high end shops in Seattle will pull a few different packages of your choice and let you pick the one of your liking. I do like the cleanliness of this location. Everything is easy to see. The menu is easy to read. If I'm not in a hurry, I'd choose to take the drive to dockside cannabis in either sodo or Shoreline. If I could give the owners any piece of advice when hiring budtenders, I'd say worry less about how pretty they are and more about how knowledgable and attentive they are to the clienteles needs and desires. If they were more attentive, they'd get a 4.5 star.
Today's purchase ..scanned ID even after I asked not for them to do it. I knew true nature of scanner.Which is optional .Lady didn't care about anything other then a sale. Lame.. She just could of had to ask other employee to look at ID I'm only twice the age of this Girl selling me weed. Makes me pissed when they act as if My ID is why I can smoke purchase. TIE needed for government worker.
This place is fantastic. Knowledgable staff, top of the line product, and a visually stunning layout and facade. I've been to other shops in the area and while there are other great shops like Herb's House and Oz, Stash comes off the most professional and the bud tenders are the most friendly. I will be making this my go to shop! Welcome to the neighborhood.
This is only the second recreational cannabis shop I've been to (the other being Uncle Ike's), so I don't have much to compare it to but I can definitely say my first experience here was a good one. Although they didn't seem to have as big a selection as Uncle Ike's (which is the reason I didn't give 5 stars), what they did have seemed to be really high quality. It has only been open for five weeks and I'm guessing not a lot of people know about it yet because even on a Saturday afternoon there was no line and I was helped right away. The guy helping me was polite and seemed knowledgeable about their products. He was patient in answering my questions too. I ended up buying an oil cartridge for my vape pen, and although it was more expensive ($66) than the cartridges I buy at my local dispensary, it's a very high quality oil made right here in Seattle that has zero solvents and is naturally flavored instead of the usual artificial, rather gross flavors you usually find in flavored oils. I also inquired about a vaporizer for flower and they had a nice looking one by Vuber for only $88, which judging from some of the other vapes I've seen, is a good price. I can definitely recommend visiting this shop, whether you live in/near Ballard or not.
Stash is my new jam! Friendly staff who are knowledgable and all my favorites in stock. If you haven't been in yet you're missing out. I can't wait for their Lake City shop to open, right next to my work!
The first few reviews must be from the owners or employees because they do not represent my 3 experiences. My last & final experience was today. The young lady named Jen****r asked for my ID as she was speaking to another customer and scanned it simultaneously. I really did not have a chance to tell her I was not comfortable with that and it happened too fast for me to say anything. I tried, but it was too late...she very rudely told me that if I was not OK with it I could take it up with her manager and made a point to inform me that she had been there the longest of any employees, (like I care) & made it seem as though I'd be wasting my time. She then pointed out the business card size store policy which I had been through before 2 times so by now I felt like I had this down...she is the inspiration for this review.Aside from the lack of service, the prices for the same products, by the same growers, are noticeably higher. Gold Leaf, Coastal, etc. all can be found cheaper at other better service businesses. That is where I will be going from now on even though STASH is the closest to me. I recommend Hashtag on Stone Way. You will find the absolute finest service there and will appreciate the lower prices on high end cannabis, in particular my favorite "Gold Leaf". Look at their menu and you will see...
My favorite spot for the recreational in Seattle. Multiple counters with the same display and lots of helpful staff on hand.
The friendly girl who helped me took her time to see what exactly would be good options for me and it was good choices she made to recommend! Good bud clean spot and friendly service !
I am a 65 yr old grey haired gramma, I went into the Ballard shop to buy some weed as I have been doing since this shop opened. The person took a look at my ID and refused to sell to me. She stated that my ID expired a couple months ago. picture ID is still me. The law says I can buy weed if 21 or older. This is second time this store screwed me. First was, I bought an 1/8 bag and when I got home I found out it was a 2 grm.bag but they charged me for 3.5 grams. Couldn't take it back because I didn't get a receipt. Didn't have my eyeglasses with me. This place rips you off and personal suck. my advice go elsewhere.
nice weed. Bad prices. Lots of pressure. Will not help you if you look conservative (masculine, hetero) until they absolutely have to (even if there are 7 employees at the counter). I'm not even a conservative person... but the political air of the place was extremely loaded.
I was completely new to this experience and totally overwhelmed. I went in Friday morning and was immediately made to feel welcome by Ben who was working. He greeted me, educated me patiently, and walked me through all of the options, answering my questions no matter how silly I felt asking them. I never write Yelp reviews but he was the epitome of customer service. And the product was great and exactly as he described!! Will absolutely be back.(And the store is gorgeous!)
I like this shop for the layout and their prices are competitive for the area. Yesterday I asked for "relaxing cinnamon" mints and didn't realize until I got gone that I was given the "balance cinnamon" mints- meaning they are not indica but a sativa blend. So sadly I now have bought mints I can't use. It's a good shop but if they are busy, make sure you are heard and verify you are buying what you think you are.
We accidentally stumbled upon this cannabis shop and totally forgot that In Seattle it's legalized now. So we decided to stop by and grab some edibles. They don't have candy like edibles due to kids can mistaken it for actual candy... Like gummy bears and suckers. So we settled the next best thing, candy but not in the fun candy look a like appearance. We got the peach hard candy and it definitely works. It's 10mg per candy, we took half and it works. We saw many people come and go here... One thing is they only accept cash, which I think is the norm if it's legal? Not sure, it's not yet legal in California. But a great clean non shady place! I wish it were legal in CA!!
Over priced batteries... complete trash, some of them are rude, I will never go back and never recommend them. Hash tag is way better, sell Better products and ther customer service is so much better!
A great shop! Always have what I need, I use cbd for abdominal issues so being without it is never a good thing. Luckily, they've always got what I need in stock. The staff is amazing, knowledgeable, and won't steer you into something that isn't what you want. They care about the customer, not making sales on unneeded items. Head to Lux, don't look back, you're gonna love it!
Missing gram. Been going here since it opened as Stash years ago and it's always been "fine" definitely convenient. Last visit however we picked up 7grams and after noticing the seal was messed up when we got home we measured it and sure enough, only 6grams. Not sure if an employee is stealing or if the Vendor is selling them short. Update: After posting a review I was contacted by Lux and offered a significant discount to my next order.
Especially during times of Covid, we are encouraged to place online orders which we can quickly pick up. 3 times now, I place my order online, I get a text confirming my order, and then a follow up text telling me my order is ready. When I get to the store, despite the fact that I have a text confirming that my order is ready, my order cannot be found and they have to fill it while I am waiting. Each time I asked what happened to my order, I am simply dismissed with a "it's not our software". Sort of makes online ordering useless for this dispensary. Go to Have A Heart! Much better and more reliable online ordering system.
SUUUPER passive aggressive vibes! (Aka : Very Seattle)Went out of my way to shop here to show my appreciation for their work with King Country Equity Now. Whenever i brought up the name of the local coalition of Black grassroot Orgs, the bud-tender interrupted me mid sentence TWICE! Acted like he didn't hear me and switched the topic. Now sure what happened or why the bud tender seems to hate this Black led coalition but that encounter will keep me from ever returning here. PS: Treating a random Black customer badly for the interactions you had with other Black people is KIND of the definition of racial bias. Maybe take down the sign outside your door that promotes inclusiveness. I did not feel welcomed here.
I went here for a bday gift for a friend. I was nervous because I have never been to a pot shop and had no idea what I wanted or how to ask for it. In came David like a cannabis superhero:). He immediately made me comfortable, asked me questions and helped me through the process with such knowledge, insight and humor. He stayed within budget and made the entire process such fun. Best present my friend ever received. This place rocks. Highly recommended...no pun intended:)
Really great staff, super knowledgeable and helpful. Changed the quality of my life, I have learned so much. So grateful.
This was my second trip here. The staff are kind and knowledgeable and the product is top notch! Thank you! I will return again. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top notch cannabis and good customer service.
There are a lot of pot shops around the Puget Sound, and because of that, competition is robust and I think that in order to stand out you must have a niche. Lux's niche is steep prices. Their product lineup is pretty narrow compared to a lot of other shops, too. The location is OK, and it's convenient for me when closing time is near. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable though and if they weren't, I probably would not consider shopping there. "I like weed and weed likes me, We're a happy family When I take a hit from a joint or a bong, I make up some really dumb songs."
Try them out their in Ballard great little place.
Excellent service and product, and they decided to donate net proceeds for the month of Black August to the Cannabis Equity Now campaign, which I super appreciate. I will be coming back for a long time and supporting them now. Thank you for doing the right thing.
Our dispensary in Lake City provides the best cannabis in Seattle in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Just a short drive from North Gate Mall, Jackson Park, and Dick's Drive in! Flower, oil, pre-rolls, edibles, infused joints, vape carts, concentrates, paraphernalia and more, we have something for everyone. There's lots of pot shops near by, come see what makes us different!
