This place is great! The people are knowledgable and helpful, and the location is convenient -- it's on Stone way which is awesome too.The selection is not overwhelming and definitely has you covered. They have flowers, edibles, concentrates, pre-rolls, beautiful 7g presentations.. everything you'd expect plus more. The prices were also better than at Cannabis City.They have this deal where the receipt gets you 10% off at the cafe on the corner. Nice!

Great selection, that's not overwhelming! They have many different strains, edibles, accessories knowledgable staff and is very clean. Supposedly this is the closest recreational spot to downtown. Not sure if their prices are high compared to other shops in the area. COME PREPARED!*Only take cash, but they have a no-name ATM inside.... Best to grab cash before you come *Check out their menu online *Bring your id, they do check!I recommend this shop to any visitors in town and locals! Also, share your experiences online- I think if you write a review on yelp you can get a discount on your next visit (don't quote me though!)

Disturbingly sober and high energy staff.  pls2bchillbrah.I sampled some delightfully cured high end sativa, some over-boasted regular unleaded indica sold as nugs that have sprung from the forehead of the divine snoop double g, and a preroll that tasted like a bmx-style faceplant in a ditch of loose earth.Strangely inconsistent goods talked up to levels that would make a branch manager of a used exotic car dealership blush.

This isn't my main cannabis shop but a friend of mine is visiting from out of town and decided to visit here as it gives employees at my company a discount. One of the first questions I asked was about the discount and after purchasing $300 with of products, they didn't apply any discounts. I came back in to ask about it and they wouldn't do anything about it.There isn't anything particularly unique about this business.They have the same products as any other store and prices are better elsewhere. I'm never coming back and convincing my co-workers to do the same.I understand that this isn't a big deal if it was a small purchase but when you can't do anything after giving your business over $300 and forgetting to apply a discount, you lose my business as well as my pot-loving friends.

Worst customer service experience I've ever had! Don't waste your money here!I have chronic, extreme pain and even prescription narcotics don't help. CBD is the only thing that takes the edge off for me, so I buy it very regularly. I bought a CBD Vape cartridge less than 24 hours ago. Attached the cartridge to my pen and put it in my wallet when I went out last night. The cartridge cracked, broke and leaked all over my wallet. Clearly a manufacture issue! Just walked into Hashtag, assuming that they would replace it and was told that it's not a manufacture issue and they wouldn't do anything for me. I was offered a discount if I wanted to buy something else, but I'm still out money. Extremely unfriendly, bad customer service, not even a great selection in the shop, it's just close to my apartment. I'll go back to AMERICAN MARY on 45th St. Where they have a HUGE selection and the manager is awesome!

Hashtag brings high quality professionalism and great products for Seattle's growing cannabis retailers. The owner is a very smart businessperson who has built the best example of a successful retail cannabis store to Seattle that I've seen. Most of the bud tenders are top drawer and know their stuff inside and out. They play by the rules and create a welcoming place for those who appreciate cannabis. It's like the " Cheers" bar where "everybody knows your name", but with cannabis.Go there ....it's a good one.

Great shop in the Fremont area halfway between the Fremont Troll and Gasworks Park. They have a point system where you get 20-30% off after 10 visits depending on whatever promotions they may be running. You also get 30% off upon signing up, but can't combine discounts. Would be great if you could, since they run some pretty nice deals.... They carry products from quite a few growers and have a huge selection of flower and pre rolls. It's apparent their buyer is an indica smoker lol....The customer service is really great too. Andrew is a model employee, promote that guy. He has a lot of knowledge and is very patient and helpful. I recently came in and grabbed a bunch of pre rolls from him... and each one matched exactly what I had asked for...Especially the 9lb hammer from evolution..I needed a heavy indica... I was surprised that a 6 dollar joint could put me to sleep even with my ridiculous tolerance...Two minor things keeping this review from being 5 stars. They sell a lot of skinny half grammers...Some pre rolls are too skinny and do not burn evenly/pull very well. I know this is an issue that is handled by the grower, but every dispensary should stand behind the products they sell. Also, online menu doesn't reflect the menu in house. That aside, this dispensary really doesn't get much better. They're in a prime location with ample street parking, great bud tenders, good discounts, and lots of flower to fit any budget.

I live in Seattle now so I suppose the thing to do is visit dispensaries. Hashtag is just five minutes from my apartment, so it's super convenient. I love the fact that they only charge 2.00 for using their ATM - a lot of places try to gouge you. And I also LOVE the fact that you save 5% off online orders. It's great that you can add items to your virtual shopping cart, give them your name and telephone number, and head over to the store to pick up what you want. You receive a text confirming your order, and you have 24 hours to pick it up. One minus for me: parking is on the street and the storefront is on a conspicuous corner with a giant mural by Henry that screams, "Hey! Look who's leaving Hashtag!" (Maybe it's the mouth on that octopus.) I don't like feeling exposed when I leave with a bag full of goodies. It feels like every person I ever went to high school with is going to drive by at that moment. I guess that's just the paranoid good girl in me! I'll keep coming back, though, for the convenience and because I know this business believes that Black Lives Matter. Woke. Weed. What more can I say?

#ComeOnIn, they said, so we did! Coming from California, where we don't have legit cannabis shops, we had to stop by. (Sorry, mom.) Walking into the shop, they immediately card you and then welcome you with open arms. I'm not into this scene, so I'm not knowledgeable in what a lot of the products were. However, there are plenty of bud-tenders (yes, bud-tenders!) that can help you pick out what you're looking for. We picked up a special snickerdoodle for our last day in Seattle, and it was pleasantly cool! Everything is standardized, so you know how much you are taking in. Come #CheckItOut. It's a pretty awesome experience!

I have been to plenty of weed shops in the Seattle Area and this is one of my favorites. Knowledgeable and friendly clerks with a great selection. This is a pretty good sized shop and they are always well stocked. The parking is hard on stone way, but there is usually room on the street behind.

Terrible customer service. One individual in particular I'd like to call out that works there. White male glasses  and big furry beard. Apparently when you ask him a question about product  he doesn't speak and only points to his sales people who are already busy. So why does he stand behind the counter as if he the works there? Is he the owner or supervisor? I would assume.  I'm sorry but I manage customer service for a fortune 100 company and this was completely "elitist" and taken back by this. I will be following by writing a letter to the owners. You need to have people who want to be there and be helpful...not like this please. Ive been to 6 rec shops...this is by far the WORST in knowledge and service. Why risk a terrible customer service experience when you can try the other shops in Seattle .

Charming facility, helpful staff. It's as unlike the bad old days as you can get, and I hope it stays this way.

I really love this place. It is close to my work and the ambiance and open space is very appealing. Someone's mom was checking ID's at one point (maybe the owner's?) and I really got a kick out of that. All of the guys in here are super chill and very helpful, leading you to the best bud for your needs! Enter petite, shaved headed, bright make-up wearing female working behind the counter on a sunny afternoon... I was appalled at how rude this little girl was to me as a customer! Check your moodiness at the door or go smoke a bowl sweetheart! As I was describing to her the buds that one of the other guys had recommended last time that I LOVED, she kept repeating the flavors in stock in such a condescending tone and mean voice that I had to leave the premise without my purchase. Whoa! I want to go back but will avoid her negative energy. As a physician, I will be be advising my patients in the realm of medicinal uses of cannabis. I am no rookie and please do not treat me badly. Thumbs UP for this place otherwise. My favorite in all of Seattle!

I went into this shop having an idea of what I wanted and the girls working directed me to exactly what I wanted. Left with my pockets loaded at a pretty good deal. I recommend the refillable cartridges. Left flyin' high!

Guy on the phone was nice enough when I called. Chick with the green hair was completely un knowledgable and could care less whether or not I had what I needed. Came in looking for topicals but none of the staff had any information on the subject and weren't willing to help me get any either. Selection sucks and prices are ridiculous. Went to the Pot Shop, was much better.

This store is clean, professional, well laid out and most of all friendly. It is important to me that staff be nice and helpful. Hashtag is everything and more. The staff have always been extremely friendly, talkative and helpful. They didn't make me feel like I need to hurry and make up my mind, they let me take my time and look over all the options. All the products I have bought from Hashtag have been awesome. They really do pick good growers and don't hold on to products for months. I have been to some stores that have products from September 2015 on the shelf, I know that can't be helped sometime but all the time is kind of a red flag. I can't really say enough good things. They even let me film a small store tour for my youtube channel @positivesmashweedreviews.

I was able to purchase a $5 mini blown customize glass pipe. I haven't used it yet but I like it a lot because it's so teeny weeny and I'm not big on smoking so this was just something small for me to keep and use as a souvenir.

Hashtag's staff is always friendly and helpful. I think they do a great job with creating and environment for any type of person wanting to participate. It's refreshing to see a recreational cannabis shop that maintains a normal retail environment. Love ur style Hashtag!

The friendliest staff, and they always r in stock. I hate going to places with no inventory. This place has all the best growers and where they come from so it's no secret. Go here if your in seattle. No point going any place else.

As a complete nube in a rec shop, they did an excellent job of explaining the chemistry of the different strains while not making me feel like a complete idiot for being clueless. Overall, I was impressed by their level of professionalism. Might be pricey, but I'm sure costs will decrease once more stores open and the market is better established. The products I ended up with were also great quality - will definitely be back!

If you aren't from WA like me then this is the place to go! Jen was super friendly and helpful. I went to American Mary and they wouldn't except my valid vertical CA ID and I had my passport! I'm so thankful for hashtag cause without them my trip would be a dry one! Thanks again to Jen and staff there !

I'm definitely not a cannabis aficionado, but I would give Hashtag a thumbs up. There is an ATM inside (cash only, duh) and it was super clean. The staff was friendly, helpful, and not intimidatingly. Also, they are dog friendly, with a water bowl and milkbones- this always gets me! I would have liked to have seen a larger selection / wider variety of edibles.

The selection, quality and prices are pretty good, but the staff have not been friendly to me.   It think they must have forgotten that there are other places people can buy cannabis from, and that it's important to smile and be kind to paying customers.    I now go to OZ right up the street on Stone Way... they are super friendly there with much better prices.   I will not be buying my cannabis from Hashtag again.

Colin is professional, helpful, and seems like an all around good guy. Would recommend this store on his customer service alone.

Clean place. Quality is below average. Alright service. Depends on who you deal with.  If you are a cannabis connoisseur I recommend spending the extra 7 minutes and going up the street to ocean greens which carries better product at a lower price.  The pipe selection is also below average.

This is by and far the best recreational shop I've been to. I will go out of my way to go to this shop to pick up my cannabis if I'm able to. Their products and the venders that they've chosen to work with are top-notch. Even the cheaper bud they have to offer is actually quite decent, and their top-shelf/tier 1 marijuana is the best you can get. Every single person I've interacted with who works there has been awesome and knowledgable, and they have plenty of parking/accessibility. They also offer a generous (20%) rewards program to frequent customers and put on store events (though I've not attended one). If you had to pick just one dispensary in all of Seattle to go to, make it Hashtag!

Meet and greets with vendors are helpful and a great way to try new product at a introductory price. They carry CBD products which is very nice as most places do not carry CBD products.

Discovered Hashtag while on a recent trip to Seattle. Convenient location, clean store, friendly staff. The young woman who helped us was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I wish I could remember her name... she had short blonde hair and I think her name was Emma? She walked us "newbies" through the whole process, put us at ease and made some great recommendations (Headband). We will definitely visit this store again the next time we're in Seattle.

This place is fantastic.  On Friday's they have a happy hour that never disappoints.  I've had some other places sale stuff and was never as impressed as I was with what I've had from Hashtag.  My one and only complaint would be on two separate occasions I was taken care of by a gal who has Kate plus 8 hair and she wasn't very friendly.  Part of the rule of having that hair is you have to be nice to people.  First time, I can choke it up to a bad day.  Second time, leave your shit at home, smile and check for when I'm coming because I"M WATCHING YOU!!!  ;-)

I can't believe I am reviewing a 'weed store', but I need to share with other 'old ladies'. I have tried everything to help get to sleep and stay asleep - those that work (prescriptions) leave me tired and loopy the next day. CBD oil was recommended, so I did some research on products and retailers, and went to Uncle Ikes on 15th for an education on CBD, THC, and what would be the best product for me to try. The dudes (intentionally descriptive) were not much help. I then tried American Mary. Danielle (?) was great, respectful - I tried the one tincture which did seem to help, but when I returned, they were out of sleep products. Low inventory. Off to Hashtag. I felt very comfortable walking in - no 'bouncer' asking for ID, no 'stoners' hanging out. Nice retail space, and I was one of three women 'over a certain age' all looking for help with sleep. I felt like I was at Pharmaca. Katie was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and helpful.

I've visited Hashtag a number of times and have had a pleasant experience each time. Good product knowledge, great promotion of sales and discounts, and friendly banter. Overall a really nice place. My only complaint (which is really too extreme a word) is that some of the staff are incredibly lacking in interpersonal skills. But I realize this will, of course, vary from interaction to interaction so it's not really a big peeve. I still recommend!

I have since been contacted by the owner, and believe this was a one off experience from a disgruntled employee and not representative of the store as a whole. I was assured training of staff would be prioritized, and appreciate the personal touch of trying to make things right for future customers.

I've been to a few recreational stores in Seattle and this is by far the best. The staff is super nice and helpful. It's a little cheaper than ocean green as well. Atm inside!

This place is by far the best Recreational shop in town! I've been to a lot of the local outfits and none compare to the atmosphere at Hashtag! Dom, Holly and the other bud tenders are super nice, knowledgeable and helpful!  I'll continue to go to Hashtag exclusively for those reasons alone! But that's not all... Bud selection is HUGE, and they have every price point! Do yourself a favor and try the 'Peppermint Cookies! "

Hashtag staff are *incredibly* patient, knowledgeable and helpful. I had hundreds of questions, they were amazingly kind people. Cannot vouch for product as I haven't tried yet, but a great shopping experience for newbies.

Nice enough staff most of the time but the girl with reddish hair who was referenced to in an earlier is kind of rude.  I just try to avoid her.  I appreciate the way they keep the place so clean and inviting.

Just as a friend and myself were ambling up the road and ironically, wondering where we could find a rec shop within walking distance from work, we saw the sidewalk sign for Hashtag. We smiled at each other in that knowing stoner fashion and quietly walked in. I don't think I've stopped smiling ever since. It is a small clean shop (apparently very recently opened) with a nice selection of indica, sativa, and hybrid strains. Every package is marked with percentage of strain, approximated CBD and THC totals and total cannabinoid per pack. There are also several types of edibles and a smaller section of concentrates like kief, shatter, and... Hash?! Yup. Gonna try that next time. For this visit I purchased the Northern Lights Kief,  an 1/8 of the very recommended Cinex, and a 4.20 bar (which was delicious). My friend got a gram of the Sasquatch, which is listed as an indica. He Is also a Bigfoot/ Sasquatch enthusiast. So between bouts of giggling and saying "I can't believe I found Sasquatch!", he managed to roll a joint. It was pleasantly relaxing and smooth. We enjoyed the moment within sight of the Fremont troll, we haunted trees and relaxed. I packed a bowl of the Cinex and thought the Sasquatch was harsher by comparison. The next bowl, also Cinex, was layered with the Northern Lights kief. When it was done we were aware of two things,:1. We were really fucking high. Like super stoned.2. If we didn't start moving right now, like NOW, we were going to fossilize and get absorbed into the environment.So we left, walking all around Fremont, very alert, happy and quite fucking high.I would recommend this place to any traveler, visitor or general cannabis connoisseur. Small but strong selection, detailed in store menu and helpful staff. Emma hooked us up, she knew exactly which effect I was looking for and was just as enthused as I am about cannabis.Remember this is a rec shop, not medical, so anyone of legal age can go in. But you won't get those low medicinal shop prices you've been hearing about. You shouldn't have any buyers remorse either though, you will want to come back.

Absolute worst service. Specifically the employees attitudes towards PAYING customers. Worked in neighborhood for years selling art and remodeling homes and don't get local business discount because one employee is having a bad day?. Pre rolled joints never smoke right. Over priced, rude, no parking. Go somewhere else.

Cheapest pot in Seattle! Everyone is always so friendly. Hashtag carries the best variety of products. Also, the manage Jeff is super cute.

This shop has a good selection of flower and oil cartridges. Staff is friendly, easy to talk to and you don't feel weird asking questions. Highly recommend checking out Hashtag if you're in the area!

Wife picked up an attachment for our bong, based on some guidance from the woman in the store, brought it home and realized it was too small. Went to return it 40min later with the receipt and all tags still on and they wouldn't take it back, however offered to let her buy the bigger size... She told me, shocked, I went in and the same story. The least they could do was apologize for the error and swap out the larger size or give it to us for some nominal amount. Lots of ways that could have been handed other than no.With so many stores around customer service should be a top priority and these guys clearly do not have it. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else.

You know that feeling, when you walk into a store, restaurant, or really anywhere and you feel out of your element? It's hard to know what kind of questions to even ask. Google is helpful, but it's not the same as trying to have a conversation about something for the first time. Hashtag does a great job, right off the bat, of countering that with a friendly staff and a well lit space. While another dispensary we visited had dim lighting and loud music, with a few busy staff members circulating, Hashtag was somehow the opposite. We were greeted, carded, and our very basic questions were answered in a way that helped us understand the right answer to questions we would have asked if we'd known to ask them. I wish I'd asked the name of the woman who helped us, but she was so helpful and made some fun recommendations. I ended up deciding to try a tea and honey combination at her recommendation, as I love tea and taking the edge off anxiety was a goal of mine. For my husband, who wanted to focus and be creative, she helped him find a very low dose pastille. We both left with something that felt right for us, we learned something new, and felt like we could return with questions and be welcomed. 100% recommend Hashtag!

If I could rate this lower I would. Why are you bad mouthing republicans to customers? Have I ever brought up my political views while shopping here? One of their bud tenders says even though she is fully vaccinated, she only wears her mask because she doesn't want people thinking she's republican. Do you know some of your customers have different political views than you and this is no place to be talking about that especially in front of customers. Seriously very hurtful to just want to go out and get weed to hear some worker say something like that.

I miss the idea of only carrying organically grown product but from a business standpoint- I get it. The staff here are pretty knowledgeable and friendly. They never rush you or make you feel uncomfortable. I've come in super anxious a couple times and they were always cool. Carl is very positive and friendly. The art on the building is by Henry & its amazing! I didn't go in here at first because I originally thought it was an aquarium or something, the way it pops  Pleasant surprise!

I have 17 dispensaries within 2 miles from my place but I only go to #Hashtag. Great variety, great people and the $2 bills are a nice touch!

This place is so dope. They used to be located in Fremont but they recently moved and are now in Queen Anne. The selection is insane. They have vapes, tons of flavored bud, CBD creams, CBD menthol rubs, concentrates, sleep tinctures, tons of edibles including amazing potato chips and more! They literally have something for everyone.... LITERALLY! Each one of the products I've gotten, I absolutely love. I especially love the Flow CDB cream. My neck and shoulders are always really stiff due to all my computer work. Works like a charm. Has a slight weed smell but it's hardly noticeable. It has a really nice smell to it. I also have trouble sleeping occasionally and have found Beauty Sleep 1:2 CBD Tincture to relax me and put me to sleep without feeling groggy the next day like melatonin and Unisom do. As for their staff... their staff is amazing and very knowledgeable. Each individual I have encountered has always been patient and friendly. When coming in, I have always been really impressed with the staff as they really take the time to meet every customer's personalized needs. They are so knowledgeable about each of their products and always know exactly what will work for me. I would describe Hashtag's associates as educators versus sales associates. They DEF know their stuff and love to transfer their knowledge. Overall, love the selection... love the customer service... NOTE: Hashtag's "Educators" work HARD and despite it all, they always have a smile on their faces and are always happy to take time to help every customer find the product right for them... so TIP TIP TIP them!!!! Complete oversight also on my part. But as I was checking out, I saw the TIP jar. These guys have some of the best customer service... so what better way to show your appreciate??? TIP them!!!

I rarely write reviews and when I do they are usually positive. I've  had good experiences at Hashtag and found the staff to be very helpful. However, last night as I attempted to return a defective battery I may not return.Earlier in the week I purchased about $150 of products, in the process telling a helpful staff member that I needed a new battery. When I left the store I realized the battery didn't make it into my purchases, so popped back in. The staff member was apologetic and even provided a discount so it cost $12. I didn't receive a receipt for the battery at that time, I didn't think a big deal.It turned out the hashtag battery branded didn't work, so I returned to store for replacement a few days later. A different staff member appropriately confirmed that the battery was defective and asked for my receipt. As I tried to explain the situation the staff member got angry and told me that I was "copping an attitude" and that I would need to leave the store saying she has the right to refuse service to anyone. She demanded that I leave the store or else would call the police. While I was indeed getting frustrated by the situation, I was in no way threatening -- the staff member was over reacting and needlessly escalating the situation.I calmly held my ground and fortunately another staff member stepped in to try to de - escalate and resolve the situation, which was partially accomplished by providing a discount on buying a new battery.I hope that this experience was an aberration and that perhaps  the staff member was just having a bad day and took it out on me. Otherwise the store needs to do a better job in screening people that can deliver consistent customer service and/or do a better job training people to do so.I'm happy to chat with store owner if that's helpful. (BTW I've run customer service organizations and recognize the challenges.)

Updating from my previous 1 star review that was made after a visit where they were absolutely unhelpful and disorganized at their upper Fremont location. They moved locations to by the bridge and aren't jerks anymore. Yay.

This was especially nice because I have very little knowledge when it comes to weed and had a hard time deciding what to get. She went over so many products with me and explained them all so clearly even while the store started closing. I’ve worked in customer service before and when it comes to closing, I would have been rushing out my customer and just telling them to buy the easiest product to explain. I don’t think I would of had the patience that she had and am super grateful for all the information she told me
