**updated to 4 stars because someone actually responded, I sent him an email and will adjust the review once I hear back**This place used to be 5 stars but some of their staff needs to go. I think her name was Mia, super rude and unprofessional. I called her out for over charging me and she said "prove it" so I pulled up the price that was being advertised on the website and she just rolled her eyes. Then she said that price was expired and again had to point to the dates listed on the website.  She didnt own her mistake and offer an apology just begrudgingly took my money and gave me the product.THE BIGGEST BEEF WITH THE JOINT IS THE FACT THEIR REWARDS PROGRAM HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR 4-6 MONTHS. Every week they say it will be working soon.... its been at least 4 months and nothing has changed. Now they send me texts asking me to vote them the best dispensary in town ‍.I will gladly change this to 5 stars if they teach MIA a little customer service skills and get their rewards program wor

First they put you in a front room that's 100 degrees with a broken air conditioner, then you just stand awkwardly waiting for slow people to hurry and buy their pot. It's a terrible experience and it's slow.----Update: drove by the other day and it looks like they put some tlc into the building. My last review is most likely no longer accurate.

One of the best dispensaries in Denver by far!! They always have the best selection of top shelf flower. I have never been disappointed in a visit yet!

This place offers member deals and then never rewards their customers. I had built up two years worth of purchase points and then all of a sudden they are gone.... No explanation, no compensation, and completely ignored by staff when I brought it up. I average $250 a month on bud and this place pretends to care about customer loyalty, but they really only want to deceive their patrons and screw over the locals. Thanks for showing your true colors you greedy capitalist profiteers!

Pretty decent shop and selection of higher quality cannabis. They used to almost always carry Snaxlands product, but as of lately have had a hard time keeping it on their shelves. Almost always have Veritas and the prices are pretty competitive, although somewhat on the higher side. Quality product, pretty decent prices. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. I wish their pickup for online ordering were a little more streamlined, but it is what it is. Worth checking out if you don't mind paying a little extra for a high quality product.

Worst dispensary experience ever! Leafly overrated this place and claimed to be #1 in Denver; I beg to differ...I came with my Oregon temporary replacement Drivers License, which includes a government document with my picture I.D., and a statement advising to use my surrendered license from Washington State; which I brought as a supplementation.The front clerk at the dispensary refused service to me saying the law doesn't allow them to accept out of state interim licenses. Immediately I wanted to verify this with another dispensary and they totally accepted my documents..I recommend being honest with customers.Guess I will be taking my $500 elsewhere.

the store is great love the people and love the flower but on a serious note the joints every time piss me off I just bought 5 for 30 1 gram joints and every single one I have tried to smoke today wont because you guys pack them way to tight I even try to loosen them before I spark them I had to reroll each one and go buy Cones rather then that the bud is awesome and fairly priced

Loved this place had tons of options and great prices! I got a lot for so cheap! Lindsay was great she helped me out a lot! She was super sweet and very helpful!

My boyfriend and I don't frequent dispensaries but The Joint was by far the most pleasant experience we have had at one. From beginning to end Samuel helped us understand the layout of the store with great detail and product knowledge. He did so in away that was educational and didn't make us feel intimidated. We can't wait to come back and for the new location!

One of my favorites in Denver, can't beat the strains as the quality is top knotch. The waiting room could be a bit roomier but the new location is being built next door. We always make sure to stop in when we're in town for the caviar and kief!

A total dump. Gargantuan lines out of the store in the blazing heat. Super slow and rude employees and managers. A nightmare of an experience all around to go there. Never again.

The joint by cannabis is one of the best dispensaries here in Colorado! Every time I go and they have educational reviews and they tell you about all of the cannabis they can help you out in any type away! If you live in the Highlands of Denver it's the best dispensary to go to on 38th they are open almost every single day anytime of the day! They do do a really good job having fun events by having people in the neighborhood to come by and see what type of vendors they have and what type of deals they have that day! The joint is the place to be!

Always have super helpful and energetic employees. They give good and honest suggestions as well as give you their personal likes and dislikes which helps in trying or wanting to try new things. I had been a regular at this dispensary for quite some time about a year ago. They were always great back then. I decided to drive 30 minutes out of my way to try them again and I was disgustingly disappointed. Great quality flower, however, quite expensive. Almost 3 times as much as my regular dispensary Magnolia Road. I came in and didn't understand why my friend couldn't come back with me even though they already checked his ID. They didn't like that I was holding the door open behind me but they never asked me to close it. The big guy security guard with a gun snaps at me hardcore very rude and stares at me the whole time I'm trying to decide what flower to get. The lady that helped me get the flower was very nice and patient and she had a lot of knowledge. After I paid and before I left, I asked the security guard for his first name and he took his badge and put it in his pocket and refused to give me his first name. He also got defensive with me and said "what do you need my name for, what's your problem". He acted like he was about to fight me. I was shocked that I was treated like that and I was shocked that he would not give me his name. After I left I came back in there and I asked to speak to the manager. He snapped me again and said that I was already dealing with the manager and he threw his hat off and walked off on me. Why would they have a security guard with emotional and psychological problems guarding a dispensary with a gun. I felt like my life was threatened. Never will I be back.  The so-called manager came out and never defused the problem. I also sent them a message two weeks ago on yelp and no one replied.

I have been to this dispensary a few times times already. Well today the security guard and the pregnant manager rejected my drivers license.  Have 2  Questions. Why would I use a fake ID at 40 ? Also why would I use a out of state ID for a fake one. Also the security guard told me that he could confiscate my driver's license. I told him please do, so I can call the police and get it back.  I even offered the second time to take my DL.  Does it sound to you like I had a fake driver's license?You might need to retrain you security guard and manager.  Also big loss I drive from Uber xl and select, and I would always recommend the Joint for all for all my clients.  This was my favorite dispensary and is not any more.  It's one thing to reject my DL, that's another thing to come out with attitude. I know you're pregnant but there was no reason to be rude about it.  I also went  home grab my passport just so I can prove it was me. I didn't buy anything and went up the street and show them the same DL. They scanned it and even looked at it under the black light.  Maybe they should stop smoking so much  weed and stop being so paranoid about things.  You lost me as a customer, And also lost all my clients.

Last time I visited this location, I was asking questions like a normal customer and they were rude and blunt with every answer. I am not a regular so when questioning the weekly deals, they talked to me like if I didn't already know the deals I should just somehow already know them by heart. I will not be visiting this shop again and recommend a visit to Green Dragon, just a short drive down Sheridan on 41st. They are much more accommodating.

This place is def one of the best in the market.   Well ran, quality product and service and a huge variety of product.  Staff is very knowledgeable and prices are competitive.   My go to place.

I am overly impressed with the joint by cannabis!  On Sunday 87, I called around looking for some GG4 and was having a hard time locating it.  When I called the joint, even though they were out of stock: they taught me how to do an internet search and save time.  Whenever I realized that other dispensaries charge 350 dollars for some weak 26% and that the joint charged 150 dollars for 30% tiger's milk.So what I learned: 1) their customer service is over the top fantastic.  The lady I talked to on the phone was kind and knowledgeable.  She didn't stammer through my questions or just tell me to make the drive and find out myself.  I guess that's what I have come to expect with dispensaries around Denver.  So it's refreshing to be treated as if my business and time matter.2) their product is better than the competition.  I called at least 20 places yesterday and even with coupons there is not a better deal in this area.  You will easily end up paying twice as much for inferior product.  I weighed it out when I got home and it was on the dot, hard not to be pleased with the service3) Don't judge a book by it's cover.  Although other businesses may have a better outside appearance, you'll end up paying for their overhead each and every business.  Keep your money where it belongs, in your bank account.  And if you want to do that, you will start shopping at the joint.

This is the best dispensary in Denver for flower. Their nug variety is really extensive. They have 20+ strains to choose from every day, some for $100-$150/oz. They always have solid deals on Leafly and will send you text messages for others. I live in the neighborhood and am always greeted as a regular so their bud tenders are super friendly. They also tend to stick around which is usually a good indicator of how they're treated by management.

If I have anything negative to say it's that if you've been using weedmaps and/or leafly, the prices aren't exactly accurate but they aren't far off. This is in a great location with street parking. They had great deals, $10 .75 caviar joints and $15 1.0 caviar joints. They gave us a free pre roll with our purchase. They had so many choices of buds and a great selection of candy. I think grams were like $12 which isn't bad for great quality bud. I got super high off there caviar, if you go to this spot definitely pick some of that up especially if they have that deal.

Important details:- No parking lot but plenty of street parking around- No phones allowed- Cash only, but atm in the storeAs a first-timer fresh out of the car from Texas, the Joint was a great cherry-popper. I was carded at the door then let in to the most wonderful aromatic room. The staff was pleasant and helpful. My only disappointment was that I'd built a shopping list based on the menu on Leafly but the menu shown wasn't consistent with store stock. I don't think that's the Joint's fault though.

Came here during my visit in Denver. Have been to few different dispensaries but this one is the best so far. The staff was so friendly to my boyfriend and I. They help with any question you may have. Being out of state it is kind of intimidating at first when you fvisit dispensaries- but this made us feel welcomed. Plus their product is amazing. Definitely the most high quality product we've purchased so far. Next time we visit Colorado this will be a stop every single time. Even got a free T-Shirt! Thanks for giving us a great time! Can't wait to visit again.

Excited to check out this place but was told they were closed then looked at the clock and they still had ten minutes left? So went  back to let them know I still had some time left and apparently they didn't have any room in the building? The place might be new or not that  experienced. Crappy vibes!

I've been going to this place for a while the flower is good the only thing I complain about is the pre-rolls are not 1 g they don't really smoke that well but customer service is awesome

Really great prices on everything! Helpful staff. Beautiful rigs and very reasonable costs. The first time I went into the store I couldn't believe how much cheaper EVERYTHING was than at the other places in the area.

First you gotta understand that people come on here and leave positive reviews because The Joint offers a dollar off your next purchase for a review on Yelp. Who's really going to put their name on a crappy review and then go back into the place and look those people in the eyes? Besides me.. Infinite Wellness offers $5 btw and they're a first rate spot with great product and specials. Them and LivWell are good places to look into.  That being said..  The first time I went in was for some $15 a gram caviar and it was decent. I went back about a week later for some bubble hash but didn't wait around long enough. When I walked in a woman was standing there waiting. I asked her for how long she'd been waiting and she said at least 5 minutes and nobody had come out yet. I had read reviews about the wait times and overall quality of customer service and now I can confirm those reviews. I've visited over 2 dozen dispensaries in Denver and this is a first. If I walked into my doctors office or the pharmacy they would at least have someone at the check-in window to greet me. Over 5 minutes and you guys can't send someone out to even say "hello". That's not even adequate customer service. The worst part is you know they can see you on the monitors because they have cameras in the lobby. So they see people waiting and basically ignore their customers. All these guys do is sell weed. They do not provide a quality experience for patients. I couldn't believe that. She had to be in her 60's. Just waiting patiently and I felt so bad for her that I had to walk out. I understand some people don't have a choice but if you do, choose a better place for your medical needs.

Loved this place when I first moved here, it's gone progressively downhill. They stil have great product, but raised the prices on all shelves recently. But mostly. The staff is hella rude. Will rush you in and out and answer the phone like its a chore, they act put off by even the simplest of questions. I'm switching my business to Green Dragon down the road.

So, when you first opened, you guys were amazing. I loved the energy, vibe, and people working there. Since shortly before you guys moved into the new building next door, service was declining quickly. I thought maybe the stress of you guys changing how you treat and tip your employees was the reason, which it was, but you guys don't hire personable people. Everyone who I loved, left because of the treatment. My sister wanted to go try you guys again and I didn't want to,  but decided to give you guys another try. The last try. I walked in and immediately was shouted at by your rent a cop that I couldn't come in without a mask, which isn't against the law to do. I know this because I work at a dispensary where we treat people with welcoming smiles instead of childish, high horse behavior. Find someone new. I left pretty upset considering I know how I would treat my customers and this isn't it. Then you guys want to sell masks and make a buck off of people to be even more greedy. I wont be back. I'm so disappointed in how you run your business.

A budtender here sold me 50/50 TBD/CBD wax, telling me that it was pure CBD. I'm no stoner - I only BUY pure CBD because I only WANT the CBD. I've got a high-profile job and a full time life, I can't always drop everything and get stoned every time I'm dealing with pain. When I complained, the budtender threw me out. I was definitely upset and confrontational, but it freaked me out that they had no idea what they sold me. If you want to know what DRUGS you are putting in your body, know where they came from, know they are safe, for goodness sake, don't buy here! Imagine going to a bar, ordering a beam and coke, and the bartender serving you some moonshine he made in a trash can, not really understanding what alcohol is or how it works at all. Yikes!

By far the worst dispensary I've ever been to. The weed was good but it goes to show how much more goes into running a quality store. Worst staff I've ever seen. Girl that helped me was super rude and I had to remind her to give me my free joint after the transaction which pissed her off even more. Absolutely no parking unless you want to practically park in the street. Not too expensive but somewhat over priced.

"The Joint" has become my absolute favorite. The Staff is knowledgable, helpful, and super friendly. They make the experience memorable and comfortable even if it's your first time visiting a dispensary.Their prices are great.  The quality and selection of top self hand trimmed flower and infused edibles is second to none. Visit "The Joint" you will be very please with your visit.

Lost it's cool awhile ago! Used to be a decent neighborhood dispensary but quality has gone way downhill as the prices rise and the attitude is so hipster snooty I can't stand it anymore. Not even worth waiting for as there are way better deals and quality close by. The caviar is a joke anymore and more expensive for lower quality. The owner is an uncaring fool while his lunatics have taken over the asylum, and with an over-zealous Gomer of a security guard eager to exercise his lack of authority, this place has become a bummer of a place to go. Do not waste your time or money in this so-called joint!!!

I went here on a whim one day after I saw it across the street from where I stopped to get groceries.  At first I really liked this place.  They have a great selection of really good buds.  However, on my visit the employee told me of an 8g deal they were running.  I didn't bring enough cash, however I wanted to do the special they were running.  As it was close to closing time I asked if the deal was still going to be going on the next day.  He said YES.  So I drove the 35 minutes the next day to return to get the 8g special.  I arrive there and ask the bud tender for the deal.  I am then told, "oh that deal ended nothing we can do about it."  So I wasted a hour driving back and forth for a special I was told they would have.  Nice buds, horrible customer service, and or lack of knowledge on specials being ran.  I was hoping to make this my main goto place after my first visit there after seeing the selection and quality.  Just to be let down.

Solid store great selection of wax and bud. Store in a great location as well right off the road. Monday has the best deals if your looking for bud or edibles

Awesome staff! Decent prices but good quality ganja always. Feels like a cozy neighborhood spot with a lot of knowledge and a lot of different types of ganja to meet your needs. I highly recommend.

Special COVID-19 update: safety precautions and cleanliness CANNOT be trusted here. The Joint is highly, HIGHLY overrated.Lines are stickered on the ground halfway between each side of the store, forcing you to stand dangerously close to other customers yet far enough away that it's difficult to see the product behind the counter. It's impossible to distance yourself from other people in the front waiting area and don't have a maximum occupancy. Every other business is limiting it's foot traffic right now. I was crammed in with 10 other people and left after one of them kept coughing.All that said, I've visited The Joint many times since moving to the Highlands and it's never been a stellar experience. The security guards and especially the budtenders are some of the absolutely least chill people I've ever met--especially in the weed industry. Stuff is expensive and the employees rarely know what they're talking about enough to give personal recommendations.There are so many other dispensaries in town, and in near proximity, that there's no reason to give this one your patronage.

At the joint had excellent service and was provided everything needed. As well as great service and I would recommend this to a friend again.

The lady working the front desk is rude. she had a real ghetto like attitude. They don't need my business anymore. I have had much more welcoming experiences at almost any of the endless dispensers around town. (Even just a few blocks away) Move on...

In response to the business owners comment - my partner shopped with you last night. Would have appreciated a reach out instead of being accused of being a liar publically - updated the review to be more specific below.  This response is exactly the kind of service that is causing my dissatisfaction. The example mentioned below is just ONE example of being taken advantage of with no remorse from the joint. I have also been given the wrong cash change with no apology or correction, sold an empty carton of bud, etc etc  i could go on to list the inconveniences I've faced at the hand of the joint. Shop somewhere else. This place really used to be the spot. In the past 6-8 months they have gone so far down hill, a former weekly regular I am now in the market for a new spot. The customer service is deceitful and lazy, last night my partner  was told 8 individual 8th would be cheaper than buying an o.... He was rung up and told a price one price, he was chargedONE HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE. Not only was this 'deal' a load of crap as this was the most we've ever spent on an o, the budtender claimed there was nothing he could do to help him after lying about the total charge and the deal. This was just the last straw , in the past few months I've been sold empty containers, the quality of the bud seems to get worse by the week, and the staff had mischarged me and given me the wrong change more times to count - and they've never been apologetic or been able to correct their mistakes.  I swear I've probably lost 100s of dollar in the past couple of months due to the deceitful nature of the staff. Stay the heck away

Whack ID policy. Y'all had some cold people working yesterday. Shoutout to Lindsay and new door person. They didn't appreciate my joke about how the parking lot sucks and you should have removed tht useless pole forever ago instead of allowing it to clearly negatively affect your customers. After getting turned away around fully intact ID, I went to two other dispensaries where I was treated kindly and allowed entry and purchase. Lindsay literally told me to shop somewhere else. Rather unprofessional experience seeing that she assisted me last week and I'm here multiple times a month. Smell you later.Update: reached out to Sam Kaiser (store manager) via website. He offered me a discount for resolution, but threatened to ban me if I ever used profanity with his staff (which absolutely never happened). Lindsay made up a story because I called out her lack of professionalism. I didn't respond to his discount offer, but did feel the need to set record straight around the facts of the situation. He couldn't comprehend why his staff would make something up and proceeded to let me know I have been banned from The Joint. Seriously, for what? For letting you know you have Bizarro World customer service? In addition, I reviewed the ID policy that Sam sent me, and I should never have been denied based on the condition of my Colorado ID as it is fully intact and all vital information was in no way obscured, missing or affected.

This place is a little pricey for their top shelf, but I've had good luck with the flower itself.There's a few weird caveats, like the security asking you to pull your mask down, I thought that was kind of weird.

I had an incredible experience here. I'm not new to dispensaries. I've been to dirt holes and fine places like The Joint. While in Denver I was interested in purchasing some love rosin and other things to enjoy while in town. When walking in, you're greeted and asked for ID. While you wait, you're encouraged to take photos with their decorative wall. It really sets the tone for your shopping experience. Upon being greeted by your budtender (Victoria G) you walk into a clean, bright, and impeccably designed space. Everything was laid out and all questions were answered. This place has sustained high quality products. Their flower, wax, cartridges, and edibles are all worth it. There are daily deals that make it affordable. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and honest but not overwhelmingly outgoing

This place I consider my home. Only place I go to for the past 3 years. If you want good buds good deals this is the place to go. The staff there I wouldn’t consider bud tenders they are more like family they remember their customers and actually listen and talk to you. I had a bad day once and the bud tender made me laugh so hard from jokes and stories it really my day better. They have good prices on everything there. If you are over by them and need something I highly recommend stopping by this place you will not be disappointed. It is the best customer service I have ever experienced at a establishment in Colorado
