This dispensary is great. Well staffed, and lots of personal attention. The staff was friendly and helpful. Plus they have just about anything you could want. An extremely wide array of flower, tons of different strains, tons of edible selections, and even Pax Era pods, which are a new must-have for me. Great prices too. All in a beautiful store, none of that painful florescent lighting. You feel like you're in a clothing boutique or jewelry store. A must visit.
The epitome of what a dispensary in this day and age should be. Professional staff, amazing product, and, as always with Good Chem, fantastic prices without sacrificing quality. The store is incredibly modern inside without making you feel like you don't belong there and the budtenders are more than willing to answer any questions or show you everything on the shelves if you please. Definitely more than worth a visit.
Not near as nice as the other locations. Style and design of the place is somewhat similar to the other locations, but overall not even comparable in fit and finish. The herb is the same as other good chems but their other products like concentrates and edibles are just the old stock from the dispensary they took over. I was shown a few double black terp jellies that were so old and dry they looked like yellow sand! Employees were extremely inept, being a loyal good chem customer I knew more about the products they sell then the guy who helped me did. I recommend going to one of good chemistry's established locations if you are looking for a rewarding experience.
This place is awesome. Hands down, best prices in the city for high quality herb. I was previously in the industry, I can speak from experience that the owners are some of the most compassionate and nicest people you will ever know. It shows when you visit one of their stores too. I have literally never had a bad experience in the 3 or so years I've been shopping with them. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable and best of all - patient! Love me some good chemistry!
They continue to raise their prices for recreational ounces blaming it on COVID. They are by far one of the most expensive dispensaries in Denver. This place use to be great. I started shopping here back in 2015 and now, it's just like every other high priced dispensary. Their bud is good, but when taking into consideration that COVID has significantly impacted many people's income, maybe the focus should be on affordability instead of designer bud. Being innovative and thinking outside the box is necessary for every business to survive. And finding a fine line between affordability and quality is crucial. Every restaurant is currently facing that exact issue. Except food is required. Not recreational. The best businesses are the ones that support all of their customers and can be a resource that the community relies on, save your volatile prices for the stock market, your community needs consistency.
Good place to get cheap herb and oil. You can shop at discount store or Whole Foods. This place is a discount store. With a friendly staff cheap oil, carts and, herb. I really only go for the concentrates since the their weed is not strong no taste just some mid/ low quality.
Love the convenience of how close this is to home, hate that they are always out of Ingrid. It never fails, every time I come in here, they never have Ingrid on the rec side. Staff is always super friendly and helpful, and the location is always impeccable. If only they could keep Ingrid in stock more often, this would be the perfect location!
I have always had good experiences here. Unfortunately today we got a horrible bud tender named Maria. We felt judged and rushed out the door. Extremely impatient, rude, aggressive and completely unlike the friendly staff we are use to at Good Chemistry. I get that people have bad days but if you can't handle treating customers with respect and patience maybe take a break or tap into your kindness reserves. Whatever one needs to be kind and patient or maybe you shouldn't be working with customers.
Friendly staff and amazing selections, definitely going back the staff was extremely welcoming and didn't rush us at all even though we came close to closing
I love this place. When they have good deals they'll give you a text. All dispensaries do but this place hits you on the right time. I love their wax as well and the bud tenders are very knowledgeable. Fav spot for flower
This is a really beautifully designed and visually inviting dispensary that shows off Good Chemistry's commitment to their product quality. The menu screens features all of their signature flower in stock along with pricing, and the menu is updated dynamically as stock changes. The sales floor is open, which means that customers are in close proximity to each other when consulting their budtender. This is not an ideal sales format for those who are concerned about privacy, have a lot of questions during busy times, or are new to recreational or medical cannabis. During my wait in line on my first visit, I received a text message from work and pulled my phone out to read it. Rather than being politely and quietly told about their no phone policy, I was barked at by someone who appeared to be serving in a lead or manager role who proclaimed something along the lines of "Didn't you see the no phone sign? We don't allow phones to be out in the store!". I understand the need for this policy, but the way it was communicated was highly inappropriate, uninviting, and unprofessional, particularly for someone serving in a supervisory role who sets the tone for all of their team and customers alike. I was dressed well during my first visit, and felt as though I was being treated like a narc. In subsequent visits I've dressed down, and have been treated better. There should be no disparity in customer care based on attire. Good Chemistry looks 'warm' but the vibe has been pretty cold at times. My budtender was polite, knowledgable, and unpretentious, but I felt a bit rushed due to the number of customers waiting in line on the sales floor. I requested 1/8th of a flower that was out of stock in that weight, but they were able to suggest an alternative of that strain in the form of dry sift/kief. Good Chemistry is one of the few dispensaries I've found that carries dry sift, and it is one of the reasons I like them; they cater to a variety of product preferences and needs.I rate Good Chemistry 3 out of 5 stars. To achieve 5 stars I recommend a more private consultation setup (unlikely to change due to the store's design), highlighting organic product options, consistency of experience between locations (Broadway vs Colfax is like night and day), budtending staff who balance being accessible/casual/approachable with a professional appearance that matches the Broadway dispensary's boutique image, and more consistent flower curing (I've purchased buds in the past that were too fresh/wet).Good Chemistry is one of my preferred dispensaries in Denver (for product quality, not for service), and I strongly recommend their Broadway location over their Colfax location.I'll update this review and 3 star rating if service quality at this location improves over time.
My bud tender was so knowledgeable and helped me select the perfect blend. Best strain of flower I have had was here - pure from the 80's Ramcon or something like that. I'll be back for sure!!
I'm a fan of Good Chem but this one I won't be back to. Not only did my Budtender make me personally open all the concentrates and put them back away myself, dude was flat out rude. It all went downhill after he told me I couldn't use my credits I've gained using other Good Chems. Told me I could only use the credits I earn at the Good Chem that earned them at. I couldn't do it there. After that dude like totally quit practicing customer service and acted like I was his damn homie or something. Professionalism is important, no matter the situation.
A place that is only in business because of us medical patients carries more product on the recreational side then on the medical side. I have left this establishment multiple times empty-handed because they want me to buy certain products from the rec side when I am a medical patient. They tell me that they are out of that on the medical side. Like what the f***?
I actually started coming here during the "great weed shortage of 2019". Lol. Many of the other dispos were greatly increasing their prices, some as much as 100%. Then when asked about it, they lied and said it was a new "pricing structure". Good Chemistry barely raised their prices and told me the truth about why. There was literally a weed shortage in Colorado Springs that was affecting Denver. I appreciated the honesty and have been going back ever since. They have great prices and a WIDE selection of flower that's cured very well. Their bud tenders are friendly and knowledgeable. And today, I got to try the pot microscope to check out the flower I was purchasing. I will absolutely be back! See you soon!
This is my favorite dispensary. As a medical customer, their bud selection is vast, the staff is friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, and their prices are fair for the high quality. I would recommend calling or checking their website first to double check selections as some strains can go fairly quickly.Plus they now take debit! Only downside is their strains run pretty strong so I recommend to ask for a lower THC % if you're looking for a a more mellow high. Bud tenders are always willing to help and they speak from experience. Love this place.
There is not a better pot shop then Good Chemistry on South Broadway. The customer service is the best. They always make sure I'm happy with my purchases. They help me When I call in always have answers to my questions. Have great knowledge of there products. Tonight my bud tender Jake & Lauren pulled my order & Cam answered my phone call. Those are just a few of the awesome customer service representative. Also Monique, Meg, Jay & Elijah all spoke to & offered to help. They are the best I won't go anywhere else. Thanks you to all who work for Good Chemistry there were many more who give there all. Paula
I literally can't say enough about this place.... they are on their toes, they have everything you need AND MORE, and their customer service is BEYOND. I feel like a friend when I'm in there and these guys smile hard through their masks. Cannabis is ALWAYS TOP QUALITY. And actually, side note STORY TIME: I have pretty bad anxiety and decision making is one of the things that causes it to get really bad, so sometimes I'll just say "pick something" or "whatever your favorite is" because I'm genuinely not picky and let's be real, it's hard to disappoint with their menu! EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I ask for a recommendation I swear I get the ultimate stoner's first pick. Like the best of the best. It's just incredible. So if you're looking for reliable, friendly, knowledgeable (affff), helpful, and overall stellar quality, service, products, and deals -- stop looking, go to Good Chem Don't forget your mask
GC does not grow quality flower - recommend CO Harvest Co 1 block north instead. I've tried most of the GC strains and it's trash. Mass-produced, smells like hay/grass, never a proper cure. And they treat their employees like shit. Serious Lou check out CHC instead
Been here twice already in one week since discovering GC. So far I've tried their Hindu Kush, Crunk Berries, Gravy Train, Ice Water Hash & Dorothy. All of them were properly grown and dried. Great prices, great selection of flower, concentrates and edibles. I've been a flower purist for over 35 years, and this is some of the first bud in Colorado that does the job! Definitely try it!
I love coming to this dispensary! The staff is super friendly and it's never over crowded.COVID restrictions: You must wear a mask. There can only be 3 customers in the shop at a time. When inside the shop, they request that you stand behind the black and yellow tape. I'm a classic sativa flower kinda woman and this dispensary offers quality. Be prepared to fork out a little more cash for an 1/8th, but it's worth it. They have a great variety of everything and they're always introducing me to newly blended strains. Blue Dream being my all time favourite, which they carry, was blended with another Amnesia Haze and created the most beautiful baby Lucid Dream. Please go there and try NOW! If you haven't already. Thank you Good Chemistry for being a bright light during such a dull time. #ThankYouThursday
So I just wanted to give this place a shout out. Honestly love coming here, everyone is always so nice and knowledgeable. Drae is my favorite! She definitely makes you feel like a friend and not just another customer. She goes above and beyond each time she has helped me.
Emily was easily the most accommodating budtender ever. She opened every container to make sure it was full and it turned out one of the 710 pods that we planned on buying was completely empty. 10/5 stars for service and attention to detail!
The best dispensary around.... hands down. The smell, taste and potency are always on point and that's why I only shop there.
What an amazing staff! Every team member was so knowledgeable and friendly, I felt so welcomed. The stores always offer a huge variety of buds and waxes for a great price, this location especially blew me away. Shout out to Emiley for all her help! I will definitely be coming back.
Nicholas was very knowledgeable and friendly today! The Desk person made me feel welcome as well. My only wish is that it was a similar model to my favorite location in Aurora. Was still a very good experience, as always!
