Super cool place. The bud tenders were very helpful and were willing to answer any questions we had. Their bud and cartridges are made in house and they have so many options. My favorite edibles came from here, they're wake & cake brownies, DELICIOUS and do the job perfectly! Awesome awesome place, definitely one of my favorites! Also, prices are pretty reasonable :)

I like going to this shop for their extracts. Every now and then I will buy a joint to smoke on the walk home. However, I find my self constantly having to unroll them and roll them myself in my own paper. They seem to be overpacked/too tight and never burn right. Feels like such a waste when the cherry keeps falling off. This has happened with every joint other than one that I've purchased from here.

I just came here for the first time and the budtender was so knowledgeable about the products, he was very helpful. I will definitely return soon!!

Came here for my first time and was treated so much better then my dispo I was with for 3 years!!!! I ended up signing my membership over the same visit and was very satisfied and for someone who has public anxiety badly, the environment was very relaxed and the workers were so kind. Thank you!

I love this place- really- I came here in high school when it used to be a Wendy's I grew up down the street and I am not from California or any other tourist place in the state. I do have to say that this is the most SEXIST cannabis store in the entire Denver metro area. Every time I come and wait in line a privileged white male goes in front of me in the waiting line. Other women complain about this in the waiting room frequently. They all hid their heads when I complain-I have seen this happen to 7 women in the past year, not including the 4 times it has happened to me. Each time I have spoken To a Manager and each time I come back nothing has changed. The male managers don't seem to think it's a problem (of course not!) Obviously they don't care about women, and I'm so upset after the last time I won't be spending any of the 80cents to the male dollar at this location in the future....

Have been a patron of ascends for a couple years now. From their med side to their rec side, they have some of the best bud tenders. In addition to friendly service, their product is some of the best I've had since 2012. Thanks ya'll

This is my go to cannabis spot, even though there are a few closer to where I live. It's worth the drive! The staff here are absolutely amazing. They're always super friendly, prompt, and really knowledgeable about the producs. A couple days ago one of them recommended a pain relief cream that is working VERY well. Don't remember his name, but he literally saved my back (ball cap and goatee?).Like all cannabis shops, Ascend is cash only, and they have an ATM in the front. What is probably one of the best things about this place though, is that if you use their ATM, they will deduct the $2 ATM fee from your purchase! Never had another place do that! They also have a rewards system, and they can tell you what your balance is so you can decide right there and then if you want to save and rack up, or use it for another time.About the products: HUGE selection. Bath bombs, creams, an array of edibles, pipes, bubblers, and plenty of buds and dabs (though I don't smoke it, so I don't have much input on that). I'm partial to the Wana Sativa gummies, and want to try some of the chocolate bars.Another thing I like that might not make much difference to others, but does to me, is the  aesthetic of the place. It's just pretty and well laid out, which makes me happy. A few other places I've been to are small and cramped, and their choice of wall colors makes me anxious lol.This place is just awesome, give it a try. And if anyone who works for this place is reading this, I would just like to say thank you!

Don't go here. I've never had bad experience with product until I tried this place. I am a lightweight when it comes to tolerance but none of the product had any effect on me and it tasted BAD. MaYbe I got a bad batch that had been on the shelves for too long? Does that even make sense? Either way. There are TONS of other places. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

The staff was really friendly and helpful!The guy that helped me answered all my questions and lead me to something he thought I'd like and was a good fit for what I was looking for. Gave great information and was super pleasant to talk with. Have a good call and Spec Ops!  So glad I went with his recommendation. Also, the store smells amazing and is super clean!

I was 75 cents short due taxes, and they made me leave and wait in line again.... seriously

Good place to get vegan-organic Ganja in Denver, 2 stars because the chubby bud tender with glasses was a complete asshole and appeared to be under the influences of alcohol or maybe lsd. He couldn't form sentences very well, and appeared very irritated that I was asking questions and wanting to check out all their weed. Not the type of person I want weighing out the product I'm going to enjoy. Definitely left a salty taste in the mouth. Won't be returning anytime soon unless they thin out the douchery.

Such a wonderful dispensary. Very helpful staff, and even had awesome deal for birthdays. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone visiting or in town.

This place is great! I love the prices, products, and the service. There is only one thing I don't  like about this place. The guy at the front counter is not welcoming or friendly in any way, meanwhile all the budtenders are very nice and helpful. They need a new person up front and soon

OMG ask these guys about their grow and processing facilities.... Colorado Native owned and operated too! I love supporting Conscious Colorado Companies, don't you? Their secret ingredient is sunlight, Love, healthy chemical free soil full of nutrient rich microbes  met so many people riding the green rush wave.... not these guys....true Colorado vibe with integrity.  Ask them questions

Bought 4 pre-rolls and none of them would draw. Had to take them apart and re-roll them. The weed inside was like a powder and they were packed like shit. Luckily they were only 5 bucks. Do yourself a favor and just pack your own cones. I have never seen weed ground up like that before. This place is falling apart. Save your time and just go to Green Man. It is only a few miles away.

Great shop and knowledgeable.  Coming from Texas,  this was the first cannabis shop I explored.  I thought they were going to have tourist prices but actually had expensive neighborhood prices, lol. I would definitely go back.

The flower is really good here but a little pricy and it takes soooo long for medical.

I bought 10 joints from here and not one would smoke. Paper burns but not what's in it. Not sure it's what they say is in it.

I love this dispensary!! Every time walk in they are so nice and welcoming. I very rarely have to wait for more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. Then, when I get back to the register, the budtenders answer every question I have quickly and knowledgeably. They always give great recommendations as well! The quality of their product is consistently great!!

The products are expensive and not effective at all. Their customer service representative was kind of pushing me to buy their expensive products, it was a waste of money. I wouldn't go back again.

These guys are the best ! When I arrived from out of state, my medical condition was extremely poor. The products that they suggested always helped control the pain and helped me sleep at night.Not only were they very knowledgeable, they were all very sweet people.So, thats why they get a five star rating.

Usually my experience here is pretty good. But today was a totally different story. I tried to call the store and no response. Hoping someone will read this to be able to make a change. Today my husband and I bough the $5 joint called Grandpas Stash, it said it was the highest testing so we went with it. Got home to smoke it for football Sunday and it tasted super off. We stoped the joint, poured it out into the grinder to take a look and it looks like it was cut with green tea. There is no high from it and absolutely no weed smell, it smells like it's been cut with spice.  Hoping someone there reads this and opens one of those joints up to see what is going on. This place use to be the best but now it's a fraud capitalizing in the tourist. Im from Colorado and have had my fair share of learning experiences this is by far the worst weed I've experienced.

Ascend has great bud and friendly staff! I've never been ripped off and it isn't extremely busy. Although sometimes I have gotten smaller, stemmy buds, it always weighs, and always gets me high. The best dispensary I've been to, honestly.

Weak buds and even lamer people over here. Their security feel very comfortable treating you like dirt.Last time I bounced through the guard actually cussed at me just because I cancelled my order (and I only cancelled because the guard was being a punk).Of course the management don't do anything...It's cool. If rude security guards are making more money for the shop than paying customers then blaze on and you do you.As for me, neither me nor my money will be coming back through your door.

I go I to ascend every week .. it was the first dispensary I went to when I arrived at Colorado .. USED TO BE a great place to shop .. variety, good prices fresh smoke.. Ever since they went back to In store shopping there service went down the toliet .and it's not because there busy .. not at all they will literally leave you standing in line for 25 minutes as there all in the back  or to busy hacking with each other. Tonight was the last straw I will never spend another dime in that dispensary.. they could give a rats ass about their customers . There to busy standing around chatting with each other .. guess what that's why your parking lot is empty . And you can be as cocky as you like ... your employees are running your business was I to the ground . And they don't care .. you need to get woke and understand nobody is going to stand in line for 25 minutes while you store is empty or I should say you have more employees than customers .The girl who finally helped realized I was past the point of annoyed and announced I'm a manager .. well guess what that's where you need to start cause she couldn't care less about your customers or your business , fresh condescending and more worries about chucking up with her workers ..Like I said never again I'm done supporting local business who don't give a fuck about the people who patronize your business ..

I waited 40 min in the lot before I got my weed & was told to wait some more in my car. Then I got my weed & it was cones I got some of the most god awful looking things, that I have ever seen. Poor serivce, poor weed, I'll never go back. & the security guards are complete a** wipes.

If I could do 0 stars I would. Who knew buying weed could be such a stressful experience. i  had god awful customer service & rushed out of the store while there absolutely NO LINE!!! my so called budtender couldn't even tell me the price of something much less give me the strain. i am so disappointed. do not waste your time here. I have never had such high anxiety buying weed lol

I went to the dispensary for the first time as a medical patient. I brought the folding half card that I have used at Native Roots and other dispensaries. The employee told me that he could not honor my card because it didn't " have the seal at the bottom". I had no idea what he was talking about. He told me to get online and find " the pdf". I had no idea what he was talking about as I had renewed my card in August and any email from them was months old. Further - have you tried to log into the state site - " your password has expired!" Fun!!! An hour at home jacking with the state website until I could get logged in. Found " the pdf" and my card was displayed with a dotted line around it to cut it out - which I had done. Not on the card/ on the bottom of the page was a state seal and the governor's name as part of the stationery. NO WHERE ON THE WHOLE PDF DOES IT SAY THE STATE SEAL HAS TO BE DISPLAYED ON THE REGISTRY CARD! In fact, it appears to indicate to cut the card out.This is the only dispensary to ask for this ridiculous thing when all they have to do is look in their database to verify my standing. It is clear to me that this dispensary does not want medical business - I'm sure it's not as lucrative. Well- I'm going back to Native Roots where I'm treated like a human being and they don't have some esoteric rules - funny I'm a 68 year old woman and I think they also don't want old people. Good. I won't be back and I hope medical clients will take notice and avoid them.

Unfortunately, I cannot review this dispensary fully on account we never made it in Security was at the door and informed us that it was online order only. There are also several signs visibly posted. The Security was kind enough to answer all our questions and took the time to search thru his phone to find us information we needed seeing that my troop sister and I are from out of town.

As of late I have liked to check out the different cannabis shops, I think I am going to go around Denver and the area and start a blog on all the shops in our area...plus and minus, good and bad because its hard to know who is helping us and who is trying to rip us off. After I visit all the shops in the area I will make my findings of who is the best pot place for the people and I will break it down by many categoriesTodays store// Ascend Cannabis, I started going here a few months back. At first most of the pot came as ordered, an ounce looked like an ounce, no problem with taste, folks seem very nice.My last two trips got me on the ropes with this store...first I took home an ounce that tasted like socks that have been worn for a week, the harshness of the same pot was terrible! It was what I would call bad home grown. I did contact the store and got with the MGT (Samy N.) who felt bad for me and gave me a 20% discount with my military discount 30% over all discount. This was unexpected and nice to see that folks want to help and work with you.I went and got the new pot, came home and I was disappointed because it looked like I was shorted (You will see in picture). The one ounce I had gotten was all small buds like at a rec pot shop (Unlike the Med) that sells those prepacked plastic.I contacted Sam, he tells me this is the normal way that the 1 oz containers look and he assured me this was a normal ounce.The shop gets a 4 star because they sell out fast and after the day they get shipment it goes and you will not be able to get what you want if you do not order on the day they get shipment, I find this aggravating in trying to find a one shop to go to...meaning, I am forced to look for pot in other shops because they sell out of inventory and if your like me, you kind of need someone who will have supplies as you need it vs having it only certain days. Kind of like finding a doctor you like and yet you can never get an appointment.But, by folks not having inventory and such...it allows me to get into other shops...bad part, I have not found a home yet in any of the pot shops I have and will be reviewing on others because "I am a man without a pot store"

Love this place! it's my go-to place to load up on medical treats. No weird condescending weed expert budtenders that I am aware of here as sometimes can be the case (I always order online regardless.) From the first time I went there, and they printed out a copy of my MED card to the time I forgot my bike lock and they let me park it in the reception area, staff is always pleasant and helpful.

This is a good place to get carts and gummies for a good price. The flower is okay, but small buds. The pre rolls are cheap and good to pour into a bowl. They used to be smokable, but now it’s just fine ground powder in them and they clog. I do miss the OG staff.

I love this place, mostly for their concentrates. Being a member pays off with great deals. Have been a member for a couple years now and they keep me coming back.

In my opinion it’s one of the best dispensaries in Colorado. High quality products and great customer service. I was in there yesterday and the badtender.. I can’t remember his name but he was wearing a Chicago White Sox hat did an excellent job and great conversation. I really appreciate that kind of service. Thank you again and I am extremely thankful that I chose your dispensary to be my caregiver.

Great dispensary!!! Quiet, small and FAST out the door... and the staff is very knowledgeable about the services they provide. I was shopping for my mother as a caregiver because her doctor prescribed marijuana to go along with her cancer treatments and is been working fantastically!!!

I've been going here since it opened, nice place with nice people. They get you in and out really quick and I've always been pleased with the quality of their products. I really appreciate them doing whatever it took to stay open through the worst of the pandemic and take care of their customers. I'll always be a loyal customer.
