This place is horrible. Like, really bad. As soon I walked in, A green haired budtender chick was yelling rudely at a customer because he took a step towards the medical counter. It was surprising to see so much attitude coming from an employee. So mean & unprofessional. Everybody just looked at eachother like WTF? After I paid for my joints, my budtender told me to walk to the door behind me to pick them up. (Normal dispensaries don't do this) So I open the door & see lots of employees rolling joints-A lady freaks out & rudely says, "Ya, you're not supposed to be in here"! Then they point to a tiny table NEXT TO the door & they look at me like I'm crazy. (I'M A NATIVE, THIS IS THE ONLY DISPENSARY THAT TAKES YOUR ORDER THEN MAKES YOU WAIT 10 MORE MINUTES TO "PICK UP" YOUR WEED). Seems like and unnecessary job so they could hire a cousin or something. (A previous review says they do bait and switch with the weed). As I was walking out I noticed the attitude stricken green haired budtender at it again, giving us dirty looks on the way out. At first it was laughable, but having unprofessional, rude, ill mannered employees can really mess up a business.

Usually an issue but I'm here to speak the truth. They have some pretty good flower and the customer service is pretty good. I have received goo "shatter" from them, and even though they rectified the situation and claimed it was shatter, it rubbed me the wrong way of how I had to go about it. I had to email the company and tell them a medical patient and veteran wasn't able to get his medicine because the "shatter" was so melted the containers threads were stuck shut. Either way I sent this email because their concentrate display was THE WORST. Now it looks better but they still have that goop Mashitma there. Ask for Rocket she's a great girl and always very nice. Flower Recommendation: Primus OG or Twister Purple OGConcentrate Recommendation: None.

Very disappointed with this place. I was a loyal customer for over 5 years. Stopping by every 3 days spending 60 to 100 at a time. The regular bud tenders loved me. I would take care of everyone.I use to deal with 45 min to an hour waits and pre-rolled joints that I would have to re-roll because they weren't smoking right.what truly caused me to stop shopping here was I came in a day after my birthday to get my birthday penny joint and was told that since it wasn't my birthday I couldn't get it. Every other year the bud tenders use to always give me my penny joint but this bud tender gave me the excuse new management so we can't do it. Are you kidding me? Since it didn't matter that I'm always there and great customer service was not this bud tenders goal they just lost one of their best customers.Thanks a lot Lightshade for nothing!

Terrible service. Went in the first girl behind the counter was cute and friendly but the guy that took us back couldn't have been any colder. Wanted to see what they had for pens and got two different kinds slapped on the counter with a "know it all attitude" and no feedback or recommendation on what product would be best. We were given the vibe that we should know what we want and get the hell out. Very underwhelmed, but mostly disappointed, considering the whole set up was really nice and appealing. Seems like too enjoyable of a job to have that sort of attitude.

Very rude and unprofessional service from the front desk reception. Didn't feel welcome if ur looking for good cannabis at great prices with good customer service this is not the spot. Don't waste your time.

The folks at LightShade are as friendly, knowledgeable, and prepared as you could hope for. The product selection is consistently top notch. The service is fast. The environment is calm. The setting is urban. The location is convenient.

Great deals ! Great employs Really appreciate the help ! Called spoke with a guy he was supper helpful and nice unlike a few other places I called today then got the same great help in the store really recommend them ! Only thing i would say work on is the wait time

Weakest dispensary I have never been to!!!! No first time customer love!!  Can't look or smell...  there are five strains were overpriced and sub par at best.... I guess this place would be amazing if you had x-ray vision...  won't be back. And can't recommend to anyone in good faith...

Awful service    After waiting forever -They messed up our order.   It took them even longer to correct it save your time and your money and go somewhere else

This place is horrible.  I tried it out because it is close to my house, but I didn't even buy anything and I will never go back.  I walked in, and instead of being well organized with a wait room and a purchasing room, like every single other place I have been to, there is just a large lounge space with people sitting everywhere and some very loud bros hanging out by the ATM.  I am used to walking into a dispensary and immediately being carded.  No one carded me, and there was no line that I could see.  The girl behind the desk didn't help me, and I had no idea where to wait or how to make sure I was getting in a line.  No thanks; I will just drive across town.

A friend and I stopped in on New Year's Day and got $20.16 grams of wax and shatter.  We got a little bit of herb which was ok, but the unexpected deal on the concentrates was a pretty nice surprise.  I would definitely check them out again.

Good prices on concentrate, just not a very good selection. Bud tenders aren't very knowledgeable on strains

My experience at this location had me leaving there furious. Now I'm more pissed because I reached out to Christopher the district manager via email yesterday with no response. My initial complaint stemmed from an Over friendly bud tender DORA who I addressed about calling my husband (who is a member)"sweety Babe hun". After I confronted her about it she tells my husband " Bye darling". And went into her secure room before I could drag a bitch!!  Very unprofessional!!  Friendly ass bitch better be more careful who's husband she's so friendly with. Cuz I don't play ho!

Love this place for the first time going employees were very nice did not rush me extremely helpful and had a vast variety when it comes to customer service this was the place to be As for pricing for accessories is a bit much but overall good experience

Ugh... another bait and switch dispensary. They show you one thing behind the counter, give you a ticket, and you literally walk 2 feet to a closet where they hand you a different jar than what you saw. Thanks for that sweet deal on an oz of bud - I mean shake. not.

Good Review for a Good spot.  Next to l 70 at Peoria St.  You can see it from the Highway.  Food and Gas Pitstop stuff right nearby.  Clean, cool, and ready with easy going Budtenders.  Plenty of Everything.  Service Dog can move around, even if the place is busy.   Restroom.  Nice.  Worth Trying.

I was lead to believe that by doing a review for lightshades on 6 different sites, you receive a penny joint. which I believe is pretty cool cause i leave more reviews and new customers. Well let me tell you guys no no no. apparently the store manager some lady  in her 30's harass me  by accusing me of trying to get over on there store location and refusing me service cause they said that i had to post them outside the store not in the store even thou 4 days before that they told me the opposite. I hope that tho owner please look at the tapes from 1-24-18 to see what im taking about. Now I still love lightshade and must say they have other amazing locations. but how i was treated that day by staff after coming and bring over 20 friends and family, and business really made me think about a book i read ''how to win friends and influence people''

1st time shopper. They show you the finished product . And sell it. I left with an unfinished product. It looks and smells, tastes like it is unfinished. Seems like I'll have to wait a couple weeks and let it finish curing, burping

To lightshade that responded to me this was well before covid so you cannot blame it on that it was in december so no it has nothing to do with my review your budtender was the worst there i have ever met. Ive been to many dispos in the area this is the worst i felt discriminated against , the other locations were good but for some reason this one just is terrible, i will walk you through what made me never want to come back. First off i usually max out on rosin carts or rosin every time i visit so i was looking to spend money and the budtender was so rude he asked me not to pick up the jars so i can read them or turn them in a rude way saying can you not pick those up their very saucy and can spill , they def wont wasnt even rosin sauce or lava was hard sap lol and besides who.blind shops then hes like sativa or indica which i believe is not a true way to tell a strains characteristics i say i go by smell more so and stain parents gives me a dirty look like i dont know what im talking about does not want me to look at a variety just his little reccomendations like no i know what i like ive been growing cannabis and making hash for a decade. The worst part was how every time he turned around to get a dif product he slowly would take everything off the counter then let me know the third time just so you know every time i turn around im gonna take everything off the counter....wtf like really like im gonna steal from you i felt really insulted and realized i was the only one that was being treated like this i said i was literally in a light shade earier and the day before and didnt have this happen said it was new policy said im good and left felt very discriminated against. I am latino and young dont go here the tall skinny white male budtender here is a racist d@$ck

Some words that come to mind are dishonest and liars.  Made an order online , response accepted should be ready in 30 minutes.   Waited and hour and headed to the store, only to find the order was medical and the lying manager said did you get our message?  Showed the liar manager the last message advising ready in 30 minutes.  No message advising it was medical and couldn't be fulfilled.   The usual cover your ass apology,  insincere at best, really not caring that I went out of my way and made the drive.  Suddenly when I get home 15 minutes later suddenly the liars send a message.  Once again covering their ass.   Unbelievable dishonesty and disrespect.  Spent much money at these dispensaries over the years and this is how they reward your loyalty.  Dishonest, pathetic excuses and liars.   Do yourself a favor and go to a dispensary that can show the basic human respect and honesty.   None of us have time for this bullshit and pathetic service.  Repugnant.

Dope place, decent service, more of a wax selection than flower if that's what you're into that.

Worst customer service I have ever encountered. Staff is worthless and herb is overpriced and not cured properly. My money will be going to DANK, it's right down the street!

Great bud, best prices, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I shop on the medical side and rec side. YOU CAN'T BEAT THE QUALITY OR PRICES.

I was a medical member of this location until today. I asked for a replacement vape battery. They didn't have that brand, but she said she had the same and used an aftermarket battery with no issue. I bought the battery, which fit, but would not work with my vape. I returned the item 2 hours later with undamaged packaging and a receipt and was refused a cash refund, even though it was their misinformation that led me to buy the item. Moving my membership somewhere else immediately.

I enjoyed my visit here. Didn't get to really sample what they had. Just got some Caviar joints. Hard to judge a place unless you try their flower. They all kinda carry the same products otherwise. Display case was well organized and easy to view. They have paper menus which I really enjoyed. Something about it made it easy to follow and find what you're looking for. Budtender was nice and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions. Didn't really look at any flower but they seemed to have a wide variety. They had Cannagars. 6g/12g. They were sexy. If they get busy it will get crowded in the waiting area but they might be moving into the building next door soon if I understood correctly

Good tree but still terrible customer service here makes me want to not spend no money so I probably won't be coming back after today they suck

In opposition of the other reviews here, I had no problems with my visit here. This was my first time in Denver and probably the 3rd dispensary I visited with my girlfriend. Although we didn't get and bud or wax we got a lot of edibles. The whole process was smooth and didn't seem as bad as some of the other reviews I've seen here.We walked in and were immediately greeted by the front desk person who asked us if we have been before. We told her no and she went over the process of giving over our ID's and waiting to be called into the back room. After about 5-10 minutes we were called in and greeted by a person behind a kiosk looking counter. The back area contained about 5-6 of these kiosks and they seemed to be busy. The person who was helping us was very polite and knowledgeable about about the products offered. He asked us what we wanted and then showed us a number of things he thought we would like. We ended up buying some lollipops, gummies, and a soda-like drink (which all worked VERY well lol). Everything seemed reasonably priced compared to other dispensaries. I can't vouch for the quality of the flower or wax as we did not buy any, but all-in-all I would be back for another round if I'm in the area again to give it another shot.

Love this dispensary on Ned side so helpful knowledgeable and nice. Products are great and affordable

Been coming here for years...flew in came right here. My driver license has a small crack in it and they won't except it.  Won't be returning to this store

Product was horrible, terribly dry buds , The Veritas pop tarts was the worst out of anything I purchased while in Denver it was 36 and was worse than all the 10-24 dollars 1/8 I purchased that experience totally ruined my day  u know the feeling when u want to get high but now u spent 68 bucks on trash  the vanilla kush in house was so horrible it should have been trashed instead of discounted  if I had not went to other dispensers before trying lightshade I would be disappointed In my entire Denver trip smh

The light shade is considered a premium dispensaries.  The prices are slightly higher compared to other companies.Some of the products  is worth  the additional expense.   The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.It is worth stopping by to see if you think the product is worth the price

Lightshade should really update their business on Yelp because they have a newly designed building and it's beautiful!I had never been to a Lightshade before and wasn't too sure how the flow works. It seems I might not have been the only one. I stood there for about a minute waiting for someone to call me forward and no one else was in line. When finally called upon to approach the desk I'm asked for my ID. And that's it. No direction on what to do next, so I awkwardly stand there for another 15 seconds and ask, "do you keep my ID?" He answered yes and was told I can sit down. While waiting I overheard another woman ask if it's okay to sit down because she was also confused on what to do next. Some sort of verbal direction would be great! Most dispensaries don't hold onto your ID, so giving people that warning is necessary. They hold onto it until you're in the actual room where the goods are held. Once you've chosen what you wanted and have paid, you're given a receipt and walk around to a different window where you give your receipt and receive your purchase. Another verbal instruction, maybe even floor arrow decals, that are kind of necessary. Why this place is four stars:It's immaculately clean, the staff is super friendly and their flower is PHENOMENAL! Only one of the staff members didn't have the best vibe (the lady who accepted my receipt), but it was a short conversation and made her irrelevant to my experience. Also, there's nothing worse than dehydrated, seedy flower and this place definitely knows what they're doing. It's a little pricey ($32 for an 1/8th), but worth it! I'll definitely be back.

Really friendly and efficient dispensary. Whenever I fly in, I always make sure to stop here. Pre-ordering everything online and then picking it up was a breeze. Highly recommend. For those who complain, just do your own research on what you want beforehand. Saves time.

Lightshade is a great medical and recreational dispensary. Customer Service is overall decent. I recommend the locations on Peoria st or even holly st.

Really friendly service very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. It is a really nice place. The staff let us know about deals closest rec place by airport.

The Staff here is so Profesional and Extremely Nice! Highly Recommended you stop on your way from the airport into beautiful Denver. Mark is a great help and even on our way out we had a nice send-off ?

We visited Denver for the weekend and came here because it wasn't far from our motel and I must say their customer service is very unfriendly not sure if it was because we were out of towner's or what.. their selection was limited definitely wouldn't return
