My absolute favorite place to go. The staff are great and nice and the prices are awesome, coming from a member there. No complaints at all

So according to Buddy boys I bought some live SunButter today what they had in the display case look really good unfortunately what I took out of the store was not so good at $25 a gram I could have got two grams of something else that looked a lot better from somewhere else the sun butter looked more like poop soup. when I called to see if they would take the product back even though I had not used any of it yet or technically open the package I was only a block away they told me they would not take it back I hadn't even had it out of the store for 10 minutes yet so unless they are willing to credit me an in-store credit to get a new Gram I will no longer be shopping with Buddy boy brands.

Prices are inconsistent and staff is a jumbled mess. Long waits and product is meh at best

Just picked up a half Oz of Lavender Jones 1st bowl had a seed. Going to The Joint they just lost my membership. No more disappointments from these people.

Regarding 38th and Perry location, I found the staff to be rather unfriendly, whilst having tip jars out on counter nonetheless.When attempting to pay for my $20-odd dollar item with a debit card, said staff informed me that they needed to round off the amount to $25 even, to then give me cash change. I found this to be quite strange, but accepted it and went forward with the transaction. If this was an attempt to manipulate a presumptive tip out of me, it didn't work. The next week I checked my bank statements and I discovered that the transaction processed was not for "$25 even". It was for an odd amount, for a few dollars more than $25, involving coin change - totalling, in the end, $5 more than the net cost of my purchase.This is not worth otherwise pursuing for me, but I suspect that there is something decidedly dodgy about the way their employees are doing small business transactions - I'm not sure if the owner of the business itself is aware of this or not. Perhaps they already regret hiring them anyway.

This place is way too pricey, and there website gives wrong prices or just doesn't give proper info on prices for recreational. Can't wait for sweet leaf to come back never coming back

Buddy Boy Brands is a great Medical dispensary that has great bud! Great staff, awesome service and love the products. If you are near the highlands area, stop by! You will not regret it!

This place is horrible.  They raised their prices more than 20$. The poor people that work can't explain. Go somewhere else. Denver clone store or green dragon.. that is bad business and horrible customer device

I was enticed by the $75 medical patient sign-over caregiver bonus, which I found online. The website clearly states that an $80 minimum purchase must be met in order to receive the $75 bonus (which also cannot be used to purchase flower or shake), so I went in with $9 and signed them over as my caregiver, hoping to purchase 2 oz of shake- but found out that I can purchase anything except for flower products, because their normal flower Oz. price is $65 every day. What does that have to do with shake, though? Shake isn't flower, and shake also isn't $65 an ounce. It's $35 strain specific and $45 oz for House Special. I planned to get 2 oz. of White 99 shake, and a small spoon pipe which should have been around $7 or so, after the $75 credit had been applied. But the guy in charge told me the minimum purchase is $100, and $25 would obviously need to be in cash. I told him the website lured me in with the advertisement that I'd only need to spend $5 to reach the necessary $80 minimum purchase on their official website. He said that the change went into effect in November, and that the previous $80 min purchase was no longer applicable. Then why do I want them to be my caregiver? They cannot even find the time to update their official webpage, and yet claim to be superior in their caregiver signover rewards? I don't want edibles, topicals, drinks or concentrates. I only buy shake anywhere and everywhere I go, and I'm not permitted to have what I want to consume for my Medical authorized marijuana use? Then there is absolutely NO reason for me to utilize the useless service provided to me by my authorized "Caregiver" that doesn't even care enough to give me the pain relief I need the way I am best suited to ingest for maximum pain relieving benefit. I was already signed over to this worthless company before I could learn the details, and it was too late for me to back out. I sent an immediate email last night 12/28/2018, right after my embarrassing 1st time visit and unfortunate lock-in to their company as my caregiver, and was never replied to. The email was sent to the young man who oversaw and authorized my patient signover. Kristopher Philpott, manager on duty last night. I have demanded an immediate release, and have been ignored. I now officially hate Buddy Boy and wish I'd never heard their stupid commercials on the radio. I am stuck now, and given no love care or attention by this wretched brand and company.I want this matter resolved, but am hesitant to contact the company because I was already ignored after my 1st visit. I feel stupid and embarrassed and I will not go inside the dispensary again. Thanks for the mockery and adding insult to injury, guys.I left empty handed, went to the liquor store and bought 2 beers, then went to GREEN SATIVA on 84th & Pecos in Federal Heights, and purchased a medical 1g pre-roll for $5 OTD. I just can't find anything worth $25 that I would actually purchase other than shake at Buddy Boy, so I will never have the opportunity to receive any actual benefit from a caregiver as a 1st time patient and Med card holder.

I love this place, the staff was really nice and communicative for my first time being there. The only downside which can also be an upside sometimes is they don't keep the same stuff. It changes and they restock every few weeks. I like the variety of lower price edibles and they have great deals

Waste of time! First they don't accept medical cards on your phone, you have to email it to them to print. They also make a copy of your ID. I work for one of the largest dispensaries and we don't get that extra. I was announced to the medical via a hand radio three times and it was also said I'm a 1st time shopper. The budtender was a joke, knew very little about his product. The few questions I asked about some of the product we don't sell should of told me to leave, took him a bit to formulate sentences and it was all bull answers. Honestly a electronic kiosk could of made a more informative budtender. Didn't explain the debit card charges until I was putting in my pin, which are $4.75, no option to use their ATM which had a lower charge. This place isn't looking out for you. At the end of it all I realized I never got a first time discount. Heard similar from my co-workers, save some money and time don't go to Buddy Boy, or at least this location. I also did not care for the fact all their weed is in serving containers. Not air tight, labeled with hard to read chalk marker, and looking to be in sorry condition. This place just wasn't for me.

I've been to several dispensaries throughout the state and by far the staff at this location is what makes it a cut above the rest.

Awesome staff and selection. They are very knowledgeable and have great bargains. Keep up the great stuff.

Just another dispensary with amateurs making up rules as they go along to ensure they get your money with as little effort and overhead as possible. Top dollar for small bottom of the barrel buds (not exaggerated). It's not hard to find better for cheaper just down the street.

Very incompetent people who run the place and manage everything. The product is alright at best concentrates can range from somewhat alright trim run or straight rubber tasting wax. Weed is cheap and alright but very heavy on thricomes good to look at not that great tasting. Edible selection is mediocre. Not helpful staff at all almost of they don't understand how logic works

This place SUCKS! Save your money and go 1 minute down 38th to Dr's Orders or Standing Akimbo where they actually respect your time. I've come here countless times over the past 2 years and have been a member for over a year. The member benefits are garbage and have gotten worse and the wait time on the medical side is the worst of any dispensary out there

Go else where!! This place is probably the worst dispensary in Denver. The customer service is horrible. The managers discriminate. I signed over my rights to have them grow medication for me, but some how every time I go in, they tell me I can't get my medication. Not only that, the managers lie about their names, they won't show me their name tags, and gave me the wrong number to file a complaint. DO NOT GO HERE. There are other dispensary that will treat you better.

The staff at this location is great but their Manager is awful (cant remember his name but he's mid/late 30s, tan with light eyes). Last week I was sold MOLDY edibles and went back to return them immediately. I was told no returns but they could exchange for new ones with a different manufacture date. That's fine. I get it.However, this manager was very condescending and unnecessarily rude right off the bat. When I exchanged them he charged me more money (38 cents but still?)stating that he couldn't give product away...I ALREADY BOUGHT IT and had given them back the moldy ones?! I never should have been sold an edible item with mold on it in the first place or have been treated so rudely.Will never be back.

MAN! FUCK THIS PLACE!!!! IF you're going to charge $40 for a marijuana product, at least you could have instructions on how to open the damn thing. When I went back into the shop, the lady told me "I don't know, you just press down on it. " "We're really not allowed to have the products back in the store." Considering you have customers paying for your merchandise, a little bit of extra help goes a long way. Definitely not helpful.

Great staff, product and prices. I wasn't sure what strain would be best for me, but the staff was patient,  took their time to ask me questions and i ended up a satisfied customer. My go to spot now

Had a very good experience on my last visit. The guy there, his name was James I think, was a great help explaining how the! drinkables work. I definitely will recommend, and have recommended Buddy boy

One of my favorite dispensary chains to visit - the 38th location in particular is great. Staff have always been friendly and eager to chime in with knowledge or recommendations. Shout out Moriah especially!

Went in place smelled amazing ! After a quick I'd check, it was only a moment and we where let into the most amazing room by stu. He had unlimited knowledge on all the products in the store. From how each one would effect you, to how much to take even the best flavors and even the price of every product rite off the top of his head. He even was extremely knowledgeable on the laws and adequate and happy to educate me on everything I needed to know. After leaving the dispensary and trying the product it was absolutely amazing top notch. Will deffinatly be returning before I leave Colorado

I used to frequent this place 3-4 times a week for 2 years great staff, friendly and knowledgeable. Good strains, but i will not be returning to location if i cannot see a product before i buy it. I understand corona virus restrictions so u cant stick your face up to and smell of it but its certainly possibly to view the product safely. Mask and glove up and display you product (at least when asked if it can be viewed). Im tired of receiving stem filled or dirt dry flower and wax complete opposite of the consistency of what i was looking for.

Great staff. Great deals. even on med stuff they still do an industry discount. Always have done right by me and the staff looks out for the best ways to include the different daily deals as well as point system. If I didnt love my job as a grower for another company i would totally work here with this great staff.
