Very clean lab..very chill vibes too. I stopped in during a trip down to Denver from Phoenix. I bought two pre rolls and they hit good. HOWEVER, when i got to the house, i had noticed the gave me the smaller dosage than i intended to buy. $20 for two. Cant beat it but the least u can do is give me the correct amount shown and expected

Let me preface this by saying that I've been coming to Starbuds since the day Citimed opened its doors to the recreational public. I've built a steady rapport with this company over the years, making friends with several of the bud tenders and managers. The bud has always been good, even though the prices are high. You can find comparable quality for a better deal at a variety of locations. I came because I enjoyed the atmosphere.  Over the last year the company has experienced a massive change in the managerial staff as well as the bud tenders. The poor quality of the manager, a man named Andre, is reflected through out the entire store. It is apparent that he has very little experience and hardly any skill when it comes to effectively building, grooming and managing a team.  I have spent tens of thousands of dollars at this establishment, supporting what I believed to be an internally strong company. However, I do not see that any longer and will be indefinitely taking my business elsewhere. Bring back Moe, fire Andre. That will help your stores internal operation improve 100%.

Starbuds DU has been getting worse and worse over the past few years. The last three cartridges I purchased either didn't work or broke, and they only refunded me for one, even though it's clearly breaking due to no fault of my own. Even tried different brands of cartridges and still just such poor quality anymore. Don't waste your money on products here when they'll break and won't refund you.

Didn't even get the chance to go in because of the rude lady over the phone. Seemed to talk down to me and hung up before i could even finish talking. Would not recommend.

This place is great! Chris was so helpful with everything, he was so knowledgeable about everything and guided my through my first time at a dispensary! I absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a very personalized experience

I've been going to Starbuds DU since it opened as Citimed back in the day, every week, every Thursday actually. Years of loyalty and routine yield nothing in return, Starbuds DU is a cluster-f*ck of a dispensary these days but b/c of the proximity to campus it will always be a cash cow so I fear they won't change.Find a dispensary that knows how to add value to the product, there are better options all around the area. Especially tourists, Starbuds is a poor example of a modern dispensary.

The lady who checked us in was extremely nice and probably the only good thing I could say about my time here. There was a lady with green hair who was a major trip. Rude and did not care to answer my questions. There was a man who i tried to go to instead of her but she made it a huge deal that I couldn't go to another person because she "was taking care of me". I was incredibly frustrated especially when she snatched an edible container out of my hand. My friends recommended that place and spoke very highly but my experience was not pleasing whatsoever. I'm sure it may be a good store but the lady with the green hair, you were very unprofessional and lost my business.

Disney land for cannabis lovers! Budtenders super friendly and knowledgeable. Big shout out to Evan! Highly recommended!

I've been to this location several times. Always a friendly smooth experience. The great thing about Starbuds is that they have multiple locations. This location doesn't have dedicated parking. You can do street parking. Just be respectful of the homes and neighbors. First up cash only. They have a great selection of edibles and Kaviar joints. In fact they change a good amount of product. Was there a few months ago and there was so much more new products.I wanted to get the most I could for my visit. My friendly Bud Tender was very helpful and patient. They helped me maximize my legal limit. Even gave suggestions on what would make the most sense. I got a couple Kaviar joints and the rest edibles. They basically have everything you could want. Tea, mints, chocolate, gummies, and patches. All my visits have been in an out fast. No fuss or rush and a friendly staff. Check out any of their locations and don't forget to tip.

The staff, especially Danny, were absolutely wonderful! Very friendly environment and even better weed :)

Classy place. Super friendly. Has a rewards program which earns you free weed. Will come back multiple times. Also gave me a free joint just for coming in.

Everyone here is very attentive and helpful to all the customers! It is pretty crowded and seems like it's very well liked! The prices are also displayed which is helpful.

Being new to this whole thing, the staff was extremely knowledgeable in product and services even with recommendation based on what my interest and activities, who knew a cram course could be so interesting, quick, and fun! Thanks Starbuds for the great purchase.

Worst customer service, terrible pricing, the staff didn't know what they were talking about. $35 for an eight of shake is ridiculous, $17 a gram? And they still use bleached paper. Shitty weed and shitty customer service

Love the customer service and the location. Great strands and since I love flower the prices are awesome.

This dispensary is cute and small but has everything you want. It's right on the DU campus and next to chipotle! They gave great ounce, edible and pre rolled joint deals and the bud tenders are really friendly and helpful.

I've been a patron of this dispensary for about 3 years now -- since they were Citimed, at least. My experience was positive until very recently. I'd purchased an O.pen battery through them, and several O.pen branded cartridges. In fact, I'd asked specifically for the O.pen battery. I was given one branded with their logo on it -- not knowing, and not being told, that it was not an O.pen brand battery, but their own manufactured version. I wasn't told that it was different, despite that once again, I specifically asked for the O.pen battery. Several months later, the pen began to fail. I took it into the shop after researching O.pen's return policy with broken products, and was told that they no longer make that pen. I wasn't quite understanding, because I'd seen the pen on the brand's website. Then the "budtender" let me know that it wasn't an O.pen brand, but one they manufactured because of (inset some schpiel he'd obviously been told to practice). It started clicking!Starbuds sells their own battery because they do not want to have to honor O.pen's policies regarding returns and things like that. And I was never told, nor was it explained to me that when I'd asked for the O.pen battery, I wasn't actually getting one -- I was getting some shitty generic version that would guarantee to fail within months, requiring an entirely new purchase.Because Starbuds is a few blocks walk away from my house, they were always my go-to dispensary. In the past few months, I've been going to Colorado Harvest Company for a much nicer experience overall. I will only return to Starbuds to cash in my remaining points. Dishonesty isn't cute.

First time visiting.  Great selection of products, but the associate helping us had ZERO customer service skills, which is why I am giving this review a 1 star.  I'd give it no stars if I could, based on how we were treated. She was extremely curt.  When asked any questions, she answered quickly and as if she was irritated to have a customer.  If it wasn't an immediate need purchase, I would have walked out.  Your customers are the reason you have a job, so put a smile on your face and be friendly.  Be helpful.  Consumers have several options to buy, and this lack of service is sure to deter repeat business.  Description of employee:  Younger woman with dark curly hair, blue and green towards the ends.

Went into the shop at 9:50 and I was told they were closing soon so I had to know what I wanted. As soon as I walked in I was rushed to order so I said what I wanted. I was given no choice in the strand but said I'd take 2 grams. As the bud tender was ringing me up another bud tender had the one other customer in the store come all the way to my cashier to pay. And so I had to wait. Then when I attempted to pay my card declined (apparently they don't take chase) so I was told I could use the atm. As I went to the atm another employee (the manger I assume) told me that it's 9:55 so they can't do the sale. What kind of store allows someone in, takes their order, portions it out, gets to the payment part, and then just doesn't allow the sale? Most disappointing and frustrating experience. Would not recommend.

Bought from here a  couple of times.  Each time I checked it on my own med scale when I got home.  Was short both times.  Called the store and asked for the manager, told him what happened, he freaked out and hung up.

Not a typical shopper. I had gone in for the first time and the gentleman there wasn't very helpful. I explained how it was my first time and he still didn't give much info. Felt very uncomfortable, in my opinion terrible customer service. Such a shame because all the reviews are so great. I'll be going to another place next time.

Love this place! The associates were very helpful and knowledgeable about the products they were selling, and helped me find just what I needed without trying to oversell me on everything else. The prices are decent, too, so I'll definitely be returning!

Clean store with large selection of everything.  Manager was a nerdy guy but he was very knowledgable.  He asked questions about what I was looking for in my high, what my tolerance was, etc. He was able to find edibles and a Vap pen that ended up being exactly what I was looking for.  Overall great experience.

Amazing service.  Great dudes.  Very friendly.  I happen to just stumble into this spot to pick up and it was a great experience.   Very informative. But the best part is the deals!!!!    Great prices all day!!!   Winner right here.

Came in on a busy Saturday (4/20) and were very quickly attended to. Carly helped us out and was super knowledgeable and friendly. They had a great selection, which made it a bit hard to choose! Their prices were also great, definitely comparable to the places I usually go to, plus they had some awesome deals for each day of the week. Parking can be a bit difficult with it being right next to Chipotle but worth going in for a visit!

Came in on 420 of all days! The shop was clean and we were greeted right away. It was full of balloons for 420 which was added fun. There wasn't too long of a wait to be checked out and they had a good range of available items. Carly was esp. helpful and definitely hooked us up! We didn't see a  private parking lot but easily found free street parking. They had some promos and deals which we definitely took advantage of. Overall it was a good experience and I would go back again! Plus we each got a balloon on our way out!

Cute shop with variety of products. Cheap eighths. Will def be back! We got a eighth of purple voodoo. Yum!!

Ew don't go here. Their budtenders freely touch flower and give you an attitude when you mention your concern..especially with COVID. Their staff is essentially just loser stoners working there who treat you like you're bothering them...literally throwing out names of strains while you're pulling out money from the ATM. Like chill. Such a trash dispensary.

I'm a heavy marijuana user. I'm going through menopause and have severe cramps. I've tried regular edibles, pot suppositories and 10-1 CBD chocolates. Nothing has worked. Until I met Brian at Starbuds. He suggested a 1-1 CBD to THC and it worked. He said I could probably get away with only 20 mg instead of the 50-60 I was taking in just THC edibles. It not only got rid of my cramps, but it didn't make me too sleepy like 60 mg of THC. Thanks so much Brian! Please ask for Shae also! She is amazing!  She totally hooked me up with the cutest little disposable pens!  Just hit up my favorite dispo on our favorite holiday, 420!!!  Shae is still there and still awesome! They have a ton of great deals for the holiday including a 1/2 oz of Top Shelf that is FIRE!

I purchased a Pax vape and an aftermarket 1G cartridge, per Starbuds recommendation in January. Unfotunately I just discovered that the cartridge failed and leaked goop in to the Pax and of course ruined it and the cartridge. So, I took the Pax and cartridge in to this Starbuds and they explained to me there is 'nothing they can do' because they only warranty their products for 72 hours. Well that's a shame considering that when I bought the vape, I was concerned that the aftermarket cartridge might fail and asked what happens if it fails. What'd they tell me? 'Just bring it in and we'll warranty it!'  Apparently they forgot to mention that they'll only warranty after 72 hours, which even the staff today acknowledged is a garbage policy. Come on, Starbuds. I was a loyal customer and no one cared. Lame. Won't be back...

- When the bud tender jokes about drugging his friends without them knowing, it's an automatic one star. -Music is so loud and obnoxious that no one can hear anyone. -They let a bunch of strangers into a tiny room during a pandemic. -T

The people here are great and seem to know their  stuff. I was looking for an alternative to pain meds to help sleep and they hooked me up. So glad I found them!!

IF I COULD LEAVE NO STARS I WOULD! I have been coming over to Starbuds for 6 years and today I came in 10/17/21 at the DU Starbuds; had an online order ready. I had called an hour before coming in and talked to Conner to confirm happy hour times and was also told the happy hour deals. When I came in, Conner couldn't even remember me from an hour prior and The store was empty and not even busy. I told him my name on the phone and asked about concentrates. He couldn't even remember the conversation we had even about the concentrates they had and I mean NONE of our conversation. He lied about the deals and didn't know what I was talking about when I got in. I got upset and said "I thought concentrates was 20% off" he said Saturday (yesterday). Today is Sunday and I guess he mixed his days and got caught in a lie and didn't want to get In trouble and turned the tables on me. I ended up getting kicked out for simple just questioning there deals and the three lies I caught them in and they denied me service. Amber was also in there and had my order ready when I came in but yelled at me for questioning Conner for not even remembering about the happy hour/concentrates deal. I feel very uncomfortable and felt that was a TOXIC environment. They are shitty staff workers that get too defensive when they lie and very unprofessional behavior!

Been going here for years.  They carry the strains I like at fair prices, and their "loyalty"/points program pays off for regular customers.I go to the E. Evans location by D.U.    - I took care of a Stage IV cancer patient, and Starbuds carried strains she liked & that helped her cope with chemo.Bottom line - I recommend Starbuds on E. Evan.   Make sure to join the Points program and over time it pays off.

Shae was dope, she helped give advice on different qualities of strains and brands. Was helpful with giving suggestions! Ask for her!

If you come on Wednesday you get the best after tax price in the area. Also can’t go wrong with 5g eighths. Patrick is always on his game, much appreciated guys!

Always has great flower. The bud tenders are always very helpful and energetic. One guy gets me every time telling me to “get high for me”. Overall just great staff and great selection of flower that always gets the job done. Love the daily deals as well. Always keeps you interested
