First off, the STAFF here is beyond helpful, told them I was a "buyer on a budget" until I can start making some money again, and they were MORE than accommodating. Instead of me buying the same $70 disposable pen, which I was glad to do, they told me about something BETTER and CHEAPER. So in the long run, I got something stronger, better tasting, more affordable, and NON DISPOSABLE. You guys are the best, more specifically the crew that was working today (5/31/20 @ 4pm) Thanks for helping me out, I'll be back every time from now on

I have been a medical patient at AMCH for a little over a year now and I couldn't be happier with the service. Every single time I go in there, whichever security guard that is on shift is always very polite and respectful. Every bud tender I've ever talked to here has been nothing but helpful and genuine towards me. Even the doctor that is there sometimes is very sweet and loves to strike up a conversation to make your visit more personable. Honestly, the people here are great, their products are dope, and I've never had any issues. I recommend this small 'mom and pop' shop over any big time dispensary for the sole reason of how they treat their customers. Many of the touristy dispensaries in Denver are very judgemental and rude and just want you to buy a product and get out. (Granted the people who I've seen cause their own issues at dispensaries are usually just arrogant and uneducated about weed.) They just get excited that their habit is legal and like to treat others like they don't matter. Which is why I would suggest staying clear of the dispensaries in Denver who are here more for tourism. Here at AMCH you will only ever be greeted with smiles and good vibes! Highly recommend!

Everyone here was super helpful and nice, answering all of our silly questions. We found exactly what we wanted and needed, and then some! They had so many options, from sizes to flavors to types - options for everything! The store was easy to find too. 10/10!

Awesome place with seriously friendly staff, including the security guard lol. Marisa was SO darn SWEET! I'm not sure if it's a Colorado thing, but boy was she was great and helped guide me to find exactly what I was looking for. They have a diverse selection of goodies, and they take their sweet time explaining things to you without you feeling like you are holding up the line. I would definitely come back to this place when visiting Denver again.

This place ALMOST got five stars. First, the good:- The budtenders are nothing short of phenomenal. Wow. They're just great. Friendly, personalized service combined with in-depth knowledge makes AMCH's budtenders the BEST in Denver if not the world. They are simply amazing, especially Blair. - The atmosphere is perfect. It's welcoming and homey, and you never, ever feel rushed. Everything about AMCH is designed to make you feel comfortable, whether you're a local, a tourist, or a patient. The medical side of the dispensary is a one-on-one experience where only one patient is allowed in at a time. It's truly personalized and offers the ideal environment and experience for a medical patient. - Their top-tier flower is amazing: the Banana, Jet Fuel, Larry OG, and Hawaiian really stand out. - The inventory is expansive for such a small dispensary. There are tons of edibles, many strains of flower and concentrates, and the best bubble hash I've ever had. AMCH is famous for its bubble hash. Pick some up for $25 a gram and you'll see why. Now, the negatives (and they are few):- Tiered pricing sucks! Come on, AMCH. Just don't. Make your flower $30 an eighth across the board. - Some of the flower is machine trimmed, so you can expect a pretty decent amount of leaf and seed from time to time in their "lower tier" flower. Guys, just stop selling machine trimmed! Because the hand trimmed flower is AMAZING. I recommend steering clear of the lower-tier flower and shelling out a bit more for the top-tier. - Astronomically high prices on concentrates compared to other dispensaries.

This was my absolute favorite dispensary, and the only one I went to. I told everyone to go here. But I won't be back. I asked for 5 cartridges (they had a deal 5 for $100) and 3 containers of gummies. I specifically asked for cartridges, and specified I have a battery with a button--would these fit? I was assured they would. I spent $150 on this occasion (3 days ago). Went to pack them today (leaving in 20 minutes) for my camping trip and realized I was given 5 containers of concentrate, not cartridges. I called, explained the situation. I was hoping to exchange (doubtful due to Covid) or a credit or to give me the correct thing I ordered and paid for. They put me on hold to talk to the GM. They basically told me I was shit out of luck. $100 down the drain. I don't use concentrate? Wouldn't let me speak to management. They told me it was my fault since I didn't check the receipt?? I've been going here for years. No refund. Can't exchange. No credits. Offered literally nothing. Don't shop here.

I started going to AMCH about 10 years ago it all started with Dave and Lenny those are my boys back in the day now they're growing and by far amch is the best dispensary in Colorado

Ew dude....it's so weird how the reveiws are so high of this place. All noobies to the game. Bud here isn't even cured and it's overpriced and gross. I don't even want to know the grow process but the flower here tatses nasty and it's not cured and trimmed like crap

We located this shop a couple blocks from our AirBnB...the budtenders were all EXTREMELY knowledgeable and professional. Awesome prices and a nice selection. I definitely recommend coming to this shop!

Mad mint...amazing service and all the incredible smells made me buy some. Wife didn't want to smoke, bought a mad mint, a brownie and maybe a few other things. That mint though. Incredible, made me feel 16 again and the way it felt being with her. Wow. The brownie was dangerous. Delicious. Had a small piece with ice cream, ate the rest of it...huge mistake. I was never so high. Yakked all over but made it through. It seems to me from my experience that they don't skimp out like another place on Lawrence I won't mention that I'm never going back to. This place is the best, to hell with the rest.

If you're from out of town or even from in town. There's no place like this in Denver..the product is AMAZEBALLS...they have it ALL..they are CONSTANTLY giving shit away for free just because the place is so badass.mind your manners though,because they won't play around with that.this place  really is a MUST stop if you are ever in Cap Hill..

Dave ..... he was / is my caregiver from the beginning. and he was catalyst that  brought me back all these years . When Dave first had to move his dispensary  I was still skeptical about The Federal Attitude to this new industry ., So venturing out to (check it out ) brought me right back to ACMH  ..home  there is no other that matches the customer service skills at AMCH ...   Easy to relax  no designer lamps sand piano players , means lower overhead which means Dave can offer prime products at very reasonable rates .. l  So yeah I go back because of Dave.

It's a pretty small shop BUT they still have a great collection of strains and the standard assortment of goods. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was a brief visit but would definitely swing through again!

Being relatively new to Colorado, I have finally gotten used to having a dispensary almost across the street from me. Admittedly, the first purchase I made using a credit card to buy cannabis made me laugh for damn near three hours. They tell you that the dreams you have as a teenager probably won't come true, but let me stand here and testify that sometimes, they do.I consider myself hella lucky to have landed near a dispensary that's THIS awesome. The pricing is right on, the selection of flower and edibles alone is pretty bonkers and they have awesome hours to boot. All of that said? They could have half the selection they have and I could live blocks and blocks away---but I would keep coming back to this location specifically because of the staff.  I have found everyone from the multiple gentlemen I've seen staffing the front door to the good folks inside to be extraordinarily kind, patient, and helpful.   They are seriously knowledgeable. Not like cursory knowledge. They genuinely know their shit about the tons of products they carry.  Authentically great service from great people is unicorn rare, and I appreciate it even more than a good bargain. Is it weird to look for a new apartment when your lease runs out based on its' proximity to a dispensary? Asking for a friend.

Wow! A site for sore eyes. Kinda mind-boggling, since I'm from Maryland. Prices good. Stuff good. Candy good. Cookies good. Prices good. Uh, did I say that already? Anyway, if you can remember where it was, go again. I think....

This is a small dispensary on an unassuming corner somewhere in Randomville, Denver.  Technically 13th and Marion or something, but you get the picture.  The people and the prices are going to bring you back, but their selection might not.  They have a limited selection of herb, edibles and other items.  Don't get me wrong, they have a lot of products, they just only have one or two types of that product and your go-to manufacturer might not be one of your options.Cozy atmosphere, and I think every single person that worked there gave us a warm "Hello" and "Thanks for coming" as we were leaving.  Good peeps.  I'll use them again, and you should give them a try and see if you have a similar experience.

My absolute favorite dispensary and here's why:1) while some dispensaries are sketchy at best AMCH is clean and professional 2) David remembers my name and knows the product 3) Good product and house oils are a great value 4) Until the Feds end this prohibition dispensaries  are forced to deal entirely in cash and for that reason I prefer an establishment with armed security

Solid, solid place.Location is great, near where I am most of my time in Denver.Staff is amazing: knowledgable, interactive, quick, intelligent, and polite to a fault.The products are top-notch, clean, and some of the best in town.Parking kind of sucks, but not their fault by any means.Been coming here for a couple years, will continue to do so.  Actually haven't gone anywhere else in a long while now.

When it comes to faulty hardware these guys are the best!  Countless times they have replaced faulty batteries, broken coils, shotty disposable pens, you name it.  Customer service - A+.  Friendly neighborhood shop with knowledgeable staff and an owner that cares.

I've been coming here for years now.  Is it going to be your cheapest bet? Nope, but also not your most expensive one.  As someone who budtends at a dispensary, I can honestly tell you that the cheapest is most definitely not usually the best.The bud is always top notch, and there are usually a lot of choice strains to choose from.  ALL of the employees are knowledgeable and /always/ super nice.It's a really small shop, but they've got loads of glass and assorted goodies (shirts, socks!).Highly recommended and a great place to take those out of town  friends who come to visit.

This place is sooo solid.  Exactly what a neighborhood dispensary is suppose to be.  Merissa (my budtender of choice) and the whole staff are incredibly knowledgeable and ask all the right questions to help you navigate all the products and strains.  No pressure and very educational.  Great prices, regular sales and feels like you're doing business with a neighbor and friend.

The real deal! This one is real and the staff is awesome. Seems like they dont overwork their staff like they do in other dispensaries and you can tell the budtenders are tired and under paid

Not sure how many other long time alternative medicine users continue to be semi-dumbasses like me when it comes to purchasing legal products in an actual store. Admittedly, dispensaries make me feel a bit like a 95 year old woman using an i-Phone for the first time. Unless I go online and look up specials on weedmaps have very specific instructions from my husband to purchase a half ounce of Hells Angel OG or something, I walk in by myself and am like --deeeerrrrrrrrrrp I don't even own a dab pen---. I get easily overwhelmed and make dumb decisions like okay just give me a 5-pack of pre-rolled something or another. Today, all I knew is I wanted something with high THC (for fun)  and CBD (for my fucked up shoulder). Not sure who it was that helped me, but I walked out with some Sweet Pieces Mountain High Suckers and am feeling so much better now that I felt compelled to write my first dispensary review without fear it would stop me from getting a better job or becoming president of the united states should i ever be inclined to run for office.

Just got my hash for the month. Really impressed with the cold water extraction hash here. They've earned my loyalty.

This place rocks!!! The staff is very knowledgeable was able to answer all my questions everyone working at the location is super friendly they will take the time to go over the vast amounts of different cbd products and if you want edibles this place has so many different kinds and flavors you won't be disappointed so next time you need some meds I highly recommend this place

I wish I could remember the guy's name  who helped us but I'm at a loss! He had brown hair & glasses, & chatted with us about Vegas and his family being from Hawaii..... Awesome guy!!!!! He was so helpful and informative and I loved it!!!!!  My first experience with a recreational cannabis  shop was less than memorable but this guy made up for it! I found this place on Yelp and I am so glad I followed the leads! If you're visiting this city do yourself the favor and check out this spot!!!

I love this place. Ive been going toamch for all my medicinal product needs for over two years now. They treat me like family. Excellent & diverse selection ...whatever youre looking for, they more than likely have it .

I got so lucky (and unknowingly) booked an airbnb within 5 minutes walking distance to Alternative Medicine (and Sexy Pizza, check them out). I dropped my bag and walked down there, immediately. I was alone, and having never been to a dispensary, I was a little intimidated. Everyone was SO nice. From the security to Marissa, who was working behind the counter. They have a large selection, at good prices. Marissa is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Great place!

This was such a cute little place, Marissa was the budtender for me and my friends and she was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. She explained everything clearly and quickly. The whole dispensary smelled incredible and was organized well to make the selection easy to view. I definitely recommend this place because of how great and friendly everyone here is.

I've lived in the neighborhood for two years and would highly suggest a visit here. They have the best service and the highest quality for great prices. Seriously don't get shake from other bozos around town. Come here!

Found just what I needed.  Sickest selection in town.  Loved how they didn't mind my haggling on prices. Staff was very friendly, didn't pressure me and they hooked my dog up, even taught her a new trick.  Overall best shop in the 303.  Also, affiliated with a dispensary. Thanks Guys!

This is my go-to shop, a little neighborhood business in Cheesman Park. Staff is friendly and professional, and it's great to almost always see Dave there waiting on medical customers. Sometimes they are out of the hash I prefer. Discounts on large purchases are not uncommon. Park on Lafayette or Marion and avoid the harrowing traffic on 13th.

When I first got my medical card, before the recreational law came into place, I strolled down the street to AMCH. It was the best experience - free snacks, friendly people, top of the line product, and the tax is included in the displayed price. All in all it was a fabulous first experience shopping for weed. But, of course, I wanted to see what other shops in the area had to offer. I can say that there is no other place like this and it set the bar very high. EVERYONE is so nice there. David especially is my homie. He is honest, makes good conversation with clients, and his taste in herb is spectacular. They are all professional and take a special interest in every customer. Their recreational options are fairly priced and good quality and the variety of edibles is so impressive. All in all this place is amazing. If you want awesome people to work with you, great product, and reasonable prices go here. Highly recommend AMCH!!!

They advertised an ounce deal on weedmaps, so I went to try them out.  The place didn't look inviting and wasn't.  Upon entry there's a hallway with a window, then two doors which were open.  No one said anything to me and I saw one was for rec, one was for med and people were going into the door for rec, so I assumed you went into the door of your choice.  Mistake.  As soon as I crossed the thresh hold someone yelled at me "what do you think you're doing?" and had a crappy angry look on his face like I hit his car or ran over his dog.  The security guard stepped in and had me fill out paper work as the other dhead went to the back but not without continuing the attitude and dirty look.  They I sat there, for like 15 minutes until the security guard again apologized and finally got someone to help me.  Once inside, it was a much more pleasant experience.  The ounce special came in a baggie, just like I used to buy back in Chicago so it was "charming" but the weed was eh.  I did buy a few other things but was not impressed enough to ever go back.....They had a lot of things on the med side which you don't see often now a days, many dispensaries treat med customers poorer than on the rec.  I liked the budtender, the security guard was a nice guy they got the review the extra star.  That other guy, I'd like to run into again on the street.  There's no reason to treat any customer, especially a new one like I was treated.  I won't be back and can't recommend this as a result of that person.  Given that many seem to like it, don't let my review dissuade you.  Try it for your self and I hope that one guy is not there to greet you when you do.

This place has great flower and has always treated me very well. They aren't my normal caregiver but they have always gave me great deals as if I was their own.

I have an elephant piece from here that you load up his back (with tobacco, of course), you cover his butt-hole and smoke through his trunk.Little on the pricey side, but definitely worth checking to see the beautifully blown glass pieces and have a great chat with the employees there. I've gotten some deliciously exotic flavored hookah tobacco from here, too. The packets were moist and dripping with syrup - if you know the ways of the hookah, you'll appreciate how rare that is to find.But the main attraction was my elephant. That is all I have to say. I found him. He found me. And we are as happy as can be.

I have been coming to this place for a while, since they were at their previous location. I have had nothing but good experiences here. The staff is knowledgable and friendly, the product good, and the price is right.

With the influx of dispensaries, something needs to stand out to drive repeat business.  The product here has always been good and reasonably priced - that's not why I come back.  This shop has by far the nicest and most welcoming staff. I've been probably 6-7 times and every time  is great. I always choose this shop to take friends that either haven't been to one or didn't like another shop.  From walking in the door, the security guard is by far the nicest I've encountered and really helps give the shop a nice, community feel. Inside the actual store, everyone is attentive to your needs and more than happy to answer any and all questions. I will recommend this shop whole heartedly, keep up the good work!

In a world where dispensaries are on every corner. AMCH is worth going an extra mile for. It's a small space that packs a big punch. Always bumping a wide range of tunes to create a fun vibe. Avoid the touristy emporium and get the same array of selection with a neighborhood feel. I'm a weekly visitor- little to no wait time - new strands seemingly, weekly- promotions almost daily- the staff wants to make sure you are taken care of and they are knowledgeable.TIP YOUR BUDTENDERS

I've never been to a clinic like this. I wasn't exactly nervous, but I also didn't really know what to expect. There was a security guard who IDed me and two people working who said hi working on the shop interior. The place was small and didn't have the vast selection I thought it would. I went up to the guy who had greeted us because the woman was helping other customers.My "budtender" was very laconic. Not necessarily brusque or rude, but didn't really explain anything and wasn't very helpful at all. I used some adjectives to describe what I was looking for, and he put a couple of things on the table without further explanation. I tried to ask follow-up questions about why X was different from Y, but he didn't really have anything useful to add. I felt like I was pulling teeth trying to get him to help me.Overall, the prices were better than I expected, and the selection was decent, but I went here because of all the 5 star reviews about how "phenomenal" this place was and how willing and knowledgable the budtenders were. Maybe I got the new guy who didn't know much, but meh. Decent enough to get me what I needed, but I'll be checking out other businesses next time...

Great dispensary. They will walk you through their product line and explain all to you. It is my go to dispensary in Denver. Lots of choices but few have as good customer service.

I was assaulted in this store by their security person after my phone was snatched.  I was there to purchase a special and rhe attendant was not clear on the choices and would not show me the product.  Because we couldn't understand each other he asked me to leave forcefully.  I quickly took the opportunity to take a few photos for my review and he took my phone and held it away from me. I tried to get my phone back verbally and the security guard  physically pushed me into the street and leaned into my knee injuring me.  We called the police and filed and incident report and while I graciously did not press charges NO ONE SHOULD  FREQUENT THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

The freshest/ strongest flower in denver. Always pleasant seeing the employees and chatting. Absolutely zero complaints about this place compared to the other 98% of dispensaries. This is the only place I shop now

I had seen this place next to the Wild Corgi Pub (my favorite bar) for years but never been inside until my friend Justine and I spoke with Alicia at a comedy show and she recommended we come by. I love supporting small businesses vs. the larger establishments and Alicia was very knowledgeable and helpful in recommending the right CBD/THC products we were shopping for. All of the staff were very friendly and the pricing was very reasonable. I definitely recommend stopping by AMCH

I’ve been coming here for about 2.5 years and am always sad whenever I pick up from anywhere else. Best deals. Dont expect to have the BEST weed every time but it is the best deals the most consistently.

We come to Denver often and have been to probably every dispensary through the years, but this is our favorite stop by far! Everyone from the manager to the door man is friendly and willing to take the time to answer questions about strains and various products. (Even referred us to an amazing local soul food restaurant). The cherry on top is that the prices are awesome! Definitely the place to come for great deals as well as variety. In your quest for cannabis products this is a “Must Stop”.
