I really like the staff here, the staff usually greetsyou with a smile and a hey.. the snow day deals are awesome, and how quickly service usually is. I think the longest time I had to wait here was like 10 minutes before being called to pick out my flower.

Over the last couple of months, I have become a rather loyal Lightshade customer. Whether I'm looking for high quality flower and concentrates and/or looking for a good deal, they always have me covered. The staff is also very knowledgeable, friendly, and lately they've started to know exactly what I want before even I do. Love this place!

Place got me blasted. Like the arcade inside, got a few rounds of starship in b4 the viewing of nugs. Set up of place is mad chill and organized. My first dispensary ever been in so have no comparison to others so i'm giving a 5 star based off the experince I had. Choc coffee beans barely phased my buddy and I but fun to munch on anyway. Enjoyed the all the nugs I scored for most part.

This is my favorite dispensary in Denver. The girls up front always treat me really well. They chat me up bordering on hitting on me and I love it. When I get called into the back to choose, the process is simple and fast. I enjoy visiting and will continue to be a customer.

This place is OUTSTANDING.  Five star staff, five star products.  They are friendly but never condescending. The budtenders really know their stuff. Extremely knowledgeable and ever so patient should you have questions or don't understand something.  The place is comfortable and clean, and NEVER a line. You can be in and out in 10 minutes, which as I always say is of utmost importance coz time is money.  All in all it's definitely a place to bring your out of town guests.

Great concentrates for a good price but can I say....The girls at the front desk are SNOTTY and STUCK UP. The one who helped me choose my order seem irritated with my questions. I'm from Seattle SORRY thinGuys at the back counter were super welcoming and friendly.

Came in and after ids get checked, you wait for them to call you in. Once you're in, you get to choose from a great selection. KWANA  IS SO AMAZING. She was so patient and helpful. I have anxiety and insomnia and can't handle sativas very well and showed me products that would be perfect for me.This place is perfect for people who are first time visitors to a dispensary because it's so inviting, and the staff makes you feel comfortable and informed! Love it here:)

EDIT:As of July 1st 2019 dispensaries got the rights to grow there own plants. TO THE OWNER: Your branch manager Yvette, IS COMMITTING CRIMINAL ACTS, putting notes into the system 07-09-2019 that the remaining credits were used over 2 months ago (05-08-2019)...because the record only go back 2 months. They are tossing remaining balances out and then threatening to call the cops when you ask what happened.  Really a shitty practice. Did you get this Yvette from Sweet Leaf (thats shit they would do)?I've been going here for 2 years, your budtenders helped me get my license and your incentives are why I had you as my grower.... (MED plants are 5 mo. old, they only got 1 harvest off me) but management has problems and I have to find a honest caregiver. They need to realize the med patients are why they could sell herbs. Then the Med side has usually been out of anything besides CBD for a few months prior.They offered me $150 credit (for privilege of growing my 6 plants for the year) of which i was able to spend $118. Then I pulled out after 5 months. Yvette failed to honor the $32 or show me where it was used and threatened to call the cops (they ripped me off $32, GOODBYE). Which I was saving it for when i flower my plants. Besides that, they don't sell seeds.CURRENT CUSTOMERS: Go over your records and don't let them tell you this same bullshit, you probably smoked it and forgot.....(huh)Yvette, doesn't think about the half-pound (GOODBYE) I have nearly ready for harvest or the seedlings coming up (over a little $32 quarter ounce, goodbye). They can tear the roots up within 48 hours, for failing to honor my little $32 credit, and I'll find or register myself caregiver to grow.  Business like this, the business should die. The new management should be fired!! TO THE OWNER.DESPICABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES: Your manager Yvette, literally just lied to my face over and over (unable to show me this receipt over 2 months old, Their system goes back only 2 months [I had like 10 grams of hash free on that first credit I used this 4 months ago but i had more left I never made the purchase 05-08-2019 WTF?) then threatened to call the cops on me. She was unable to show me where this little $32 piece of a $150 credit  was spent [THIEVING PIECES OF SHIT] then it was August 1st so i could get my $10 eighth for the month, which she was unwilling to sell after her shenanigans of purposely entering errors into the system! I left with no credit no monthly bonus and they need to surrender my plants and their right to sell them! Now they have 10 ounces  of mine almost ready just it ain't ready to sell. Fuck these people, tear em up. Plus im still med so I still get weed cheap. Just they ain't growing my plants and selling it for twice as much on the REC side then 5X taxing some one they charged double,  ($20 a gram is too high) to give to police for Yvettes to call after she just commited a crime against Lightshade customers, taxes for judges and  keeping people celled up.  I hate how there system works and it doesn't really at all.You'd be better with my plants than that lying, thieving, backward ass cop caller, on your Corp. The old Blonde hair woman also didn't help at all.  They think I'm a bum or something, lying about $32. I ain't wrong about smoking my last bit of credit and forgetting about it, then let her tell me what happened when  couldn't show me and I know I've been saving this little credit for when i was flowering.  It was good company over the last few years just Yvette and this branch are lying thieves. I will call any another caregiver on the list and not look back. Lightshade needs weeded out at this time. I will not accept this garbage for my caregiver.Please, change over your caregiver as well to a MED only location or private MMJ caregiver from the colorado.gov that will sell a selection to you for your license.  I swear they are about paying taxes and calling cops over there. THEY BUY 5 STAR REVIEWS and try to quite negative reviews with $1 JOINT COUPONS.

My boyfriend and I have been coming to this location for about 3 years now at least once a week, sometimes up 4-5x a week. We have always had a great experience until tonight when we came in for their cartridge deal they have been advertising ALL WEEK. We gave the front desk lady our ids per usual. As we were waiting she came up  and informed us that there was a small crack in my boyfriends id and therefore he wasn't allowed back there. We were slightly upset because we come all of the time and he has accumulated almost 500 points. But it didnt matter because my Id was valid so I went in as my boyfriend waited in the lobby. As soon as I get back there I told the bud tender for the deal. He said they were out. I asked him when they sold out and he said I don't know and asked what day it was... (maybe he was stoned or just stupid? You should probably know when your deals end) I was bummed. I asked if he had any other deals. He said no. I called my boyfriend and immediately he told me rudely to get off my phone. I was startled and turned it off. I told him I was calling my bf who was literally right outside who is of age and has been seen multiple times by one of the girl bud tenders who was in the lobby. I left immediately and got in the car. I told my bf about the horrible experience so he went back in and was upset. The guy budtender apparently came out and told everyone that I was on the phone trying to buy someone else weed which was COMPLETELY not true. I will NEVER come back. It sucks bc I've always had good bud tenders until the guy who was at the first station on the right side walking out.

Very nice staff, very quality flower and very cool vibes. I agree with Westword, it is one of the best bang for your buck dispensaries when it comes to cannabis in Denver. Always a great playlist going. I would give it more stars if the flower was 100% organic and pesticide-free. Also the variety is pretty limited.

Great customer service! They also accept card payments and don't round the charge up like some other places.  Totally legit.  Good prices and promotions throughout the month.

Lightshade on Sheridan is a nice larger shop and has a good sized waiting area if they happen to be overly busy - but usually the wait is short and sweet.  The staff is very friendly and helpful and always does their best to get you what you are looking for!  They have a wide selection of flower, prerolls, concentrates and edibles so just ask and theynwil show you all their goodies! Located just south of Mississippi/Morrison road and Sheridan, there are a plethora of restaurants, bars, and convenience shopping nearby so you can pick up a snack or a meal or go dancing to live music all within a few minutes walk. Definitely recommended!

Prices change about 4 times each day. Fees added on for using a credit card even though they sent out a text letting you know that they now "accept all major credit cards". Consistency isn't a thing here. One day an eighth costs $20, the next day its $25 the following week its $35 for an eighth but $50 for a quarter. Of course it's $55 if you pay with a credit card. Time to find a dispensary that doesn't make buying weed a total bummer.

I've been coming to this Lightshade for about two years and I must say it is mediocre at best. When I first began coming here, all the bud tenders were very helpful and knowledgeable about the products, even offering to show me the new products that would come in. Now, it seems like every time I go in, there is a new bud tender so that friendly atmosphere went away pretty quickly. The store manager, Yvette, always has a nasty attitude whenever I go in and isn't helpful with choosing products at all, so I avoid her help. When I try to ask her questions about the products and which she would recommend, half the time I get no response whatsoever. Lately this location doesn't have good concentrates, which is a bummer. Seriously considering driving the extra 20 minutes it takes to get to the other closest location just to avoid this place overall.

Easy to find. Friendly, helpful staff & cool specials. They also take Visa cards which is super convenient when you get excited and go over your budget :D! One of the better dispensaries I've been to here in Colorado.

Renee is the greatest. I am so happy when she is helping me because she is so knowledgeable, so peppy, so pleasant, and when I ask a question I don't feel stupid for asking which was a real problem with almost all other dispensaries I've been to. This location is nice, clean, the people are pleasant and friendly, but being served by Renee just makes my visit that much more fun!

Lightshade Sheridan is the best! Always friendly staff and willing to help. They are also knowledgeable about their products. The products here are top of the line! Highly recommend!

Do not flirt with none of the girls there you will be kicked out of this place I am banned from every lighter shade because of asking a girl out that works there because she's been flirting with me didn't know she was dating the manager now I am no longer able to go to any lighter shade recreational place due to this. The girls should not be able to flirt for money bring falsely Vibes for money that's what strip clubs are for this is a dispensary

Lightshade is my go to dispensary. 100$ prepackaged ounces everyday and service is always top notch. iD's checked and scanned in a timely manner. Will always come back for more products. They offer cookies brownies and a wide range of smokable products.

I love it here, this is my new favorite dispensary. The staff is really friendly and help with questions you have. I don't think I'll go anywhere else.

Good day, I am new to medical cannabis, I went to he lightshade on havana frist to get some medical advise. I was told that they cannot provide medical advice for pain, but he budtender was very nice,which made me feel comfortable with my decision to try CBD-THC, I did not feel akward since cannabis is taboo in my way of life.I went to get my medical card then went to this location thinking it was the same type of service, I did not like the service at all. I think bt turning rec ppl only see ppl getting high. the registration lady  she was blond haired wasn't welcoming and also the budtender a slim cauc man with brown hair was in a rush and couldnt answer my questions about pain mgmt. I realized that this is medical as I thought. I then returned again just to give them a fair change, I really enjoyed the service his time I had an issue about what I brough the day before so Hailey the manager was very helpful and took care of my needs, and my budtender his time was AWESOME I forgotten her name, she is all slim cauc, sister wih locks. she spent time helping  also taking the time to find he right medication I may become a member of the company.

Went into Lightshade. Like to try out new shops once in a while and decided to try here. There wasn't a long wait which is always nice. The prices weren't too bad. They had some good rec strains to choose from. And the quality was pretty good as well. Oh, and it's nice to go to a shop and be able to park as well!

I like Lightshade because of the broad selection of edibles they carry. In particular, I love the 1906 Bliss peanut butter cups.   Justin, who helped me on my last visit, was very helpful in the selection of herb, as well as maximizing the mix to stay within the rules.  I'll be back!

The atmosphere is warm and inviting with high quality products. The staff was very helpful from the receptionist to the budtenders. Highly recommend!

I got the worst experience from this Light Shade on Sheridan on Sat. 5/11. They screwed up on their menu and was inaccurate when they told me over the phone they had Sour Diesel. When I got there the Budtender was also inaccurate in showing me a Sour Diesel jar. When I paid for 4 eights and went to pick up counter they gave me East Coast Sour Diesel. It took over a week to receive a refund "check" for the transaction error.

Words cannot express how much I appreciate the people and product that Lightshade has to offer. My girlfriend and I have traveled over 13000 miles in the last 15 weeks and visited dozens of dispensaries in each of the recreational statuses, and we have yet to find quality buds that beat Lightshade prices. Seriously! There are dank buds everywhere no doubt, but Lightshade has the lowest price for the best quality. Every time I visit I am greeted by the friendliest staff. The bud tenders are incredible humans with such great energy. Will visit them every time I'm in Colorado.

Always a friendly experience with this location. If lines are too long they offer a free play machine to keep you entertained. Overall a great location with awesome prices.

So the flower Lightshade - Sheridan offers is generally grown well. The buds are harvested at the correct time and cured well. The problems come after the buds leave the growers hands.Lightshade uses a mechanical trimming machine that literally strips the heads of thricomes off of their stalks. Trichomes contain cannabinoids (THC and CBD being the most commonly known), so right off the bat the quality of the flower (post harvest) is effected and the customer is getting a sub-par product.I've scoped bud(s) and seen ripped up headless trichomes on Golden Goat, BlueBerry Diesel and Bruce Banner flower.The budtenders are pleasant, mostly, but knowledge and effort is lacking. Online menus (weedmaps) frequently reflect incorrect inventory levels. Calling the store to confirm if a strain is indeed available is not reliable.What information you are told on the phone or online is not accurate and takes some coercing to actually get the information you want. Attempting to inquire what strains of shatter is available was answered by "we have lots". Get off your ass, go look and tell me the shatter strains for sale. Not helpful or useful.So in summary, the growers are doing a good job, cure is good, but machine trimming and ripping off the prescious thricome heads is hurting overall bud quality and potency. Budtenders are letting Lightshade down with sub-par cannabis knowledge and a lackadaisical attitude.Within a 10-15 minute drive there's no less than FIVE other dispensaries (competitors) customers can choose over Lightshade. Mile High Dispensary, Altitude, The Green Solution, Trenchtown, Herbal Remedies and Patients Choice, for example and with more opening soon.Step it up Lightshade.

Friendly customer service, but their selection needs  a lot of improvement and a new trimmer!! So much stem not enough flower.

I tried using the Yelp review penny joint coupon and they would not honor it because they are "no longer on Yelp," which doesn't make much sense seeing how I'm writing a review for them right now on Yelp. The budtender said there was nothing he could do for me, which also doesn't make sense since they still give penny joint cards for reviews on multiple other social review sites. I think I will be finding a different shop.

I went to visit family in Denver. I live in California and usually I would bring some weed with me, but since there are so many dispensaries in Denver I decided not to bring any. I was looking at places online to find some good pre-rolls and saw that they had a pack of 11 joints which are 1 gram each. I thought awesome this should last me till I get home. Nope I was wrong. 1st one I smoked was okay. It didn't burn right but I didn't really care. But the taste of the Gorilla Glue strain was awful. Tried to smoke 4 more after that. All of them didn't burn even, weed tasted bad, and they were super hard to hit. Felt like I was trying to suck a golf ball through a garden hose. You think for $60 they would hit and taste good, not in this case. So now I'm home in California re-rolling the pre-roll so I can hit them with out me almost dying. Whenever I go to Denver again I'll make sure to keep clear of Lightshade. Worst experience with pre-rolls I ever had. Wish I could give this place a zero rating.

I've been a member here for 4 months due to location. This is now the 6th time I've called asking for a certain product, they said they have it, I go there and they don't have it. Quote from a staff member, "ooo ya sorry bro, we don't have it, it's up to the truck bro. That sucks bro, real bummer man, we probably didn't mean to tell you we had it bro."Another quote, "well I didn't say we have it so yeah you gonna get anything or what."Only reason I'm still a member is because it is a convenient location for myself. By far the worst staff, they have ZERO knowledge of their products. Very rude as well, that's probably why they have a new staff everytime I'm there. I had to let the Yelp world know, you can do better than this company, maybe it is just the location. Either way, the fact they've mislead me 6 times, is pretty annoying. Having their staff be rude didn't help much either. Technically not every member was rude but more where rude than welcoming. Yelp world I warned you!

This is my go to dispensary, I've only tried two so far but I like this one and don't really want to keep trying new ones. The waiting area is clean and nice, the employees are friendly and helpful. I've never had a bad experience so far. I usually preorder because I have bad anxiety talking to people for a long amount of time but everyone is friendly despite how awkward and anxious I feel. I also have liked all the products I've gotten here so far, they've helped calm me down. Sure its pricey but that's to be expected.

The 5 pack pre-rolls are not consistent in quality.  If the pack is strain specific then buy it but if they tell you it's a "hybrid blend" it is crap, do not buy it. The girls at the check in desk are always so nice and professional.

Idk why I keep going to this place thinking maybe some things have changed but once again disappointed. mediocre weed with high prices never any deals unless you want edibles they do "popcorn" buds but it's more like shake so be careful with that the weed I got today smells good but taste like swag and stringy as hell lol oh Lightshade idk if you guys lost your growers or what but y'all seriously lost my business and I'll be sure to never recommend y'all thanks for everything but goodbye and good riddance!

Coming from a state where marijuana is still illegal (boo!) I was particularly excited to visit my first Denver dispensary. A friend recommended Lightshade on Sheridan because it was their regular spot, so I knew I couldn't go wrong with this place!This location is in a little bit of a rundown area of the city. I didn't feel unsafe at all, but it's worth noting that some might find it a "shady" area.The setup is familiar to anyone who has visited a dispensary before--you go in, give your ID to the person behind the counter, and then hang out in the waiting room until it's your turn to go into the store area. We went around 1pm on a Monday and our wait was less than 10 mins.Our budtender was very patient, knowledgeable and quick to answer all of our questions. It was my friend's first time in a dispensary and she said that she felt comfortable and not rushed at all when asking questions and recommendations. The selection of flowers, edibles, concentrates and the like was great! The store was well stocked and they had clear glass display cases showing the various products they offered. Prices were decent-I purchased a Coda Cream & Crumble 100mg bad for less than $20, a packed preroll Sour Diesel for $10, and some Wana gummies for $15. Def recommendation the Coda bar, it tastes like lemony cheesecake and it picks quite a punch! No weed taste either if that's a concern for you.I prob will not revisit with particular location just because it was a bit out of the way for where I usually stay in Denver but I absolutely recommend both this location and Lightshade in general.

This place sells dab pens with non working batteries. Have fun trying to figure that out when you come home

Not veteran friendly. Wouldn't let my husband and I shop together or figure out how to pay since we would have to be separated. My husband is a 100% disabled veteran. They wanted us to go to the truck to exchange money. I was just handing him our wallet. We are married and I am his caretaker. Won't be going back there. Such a shame, we had been wanting to check this dispensary out for a couple years

Not a fan. Been 3 times in past year. High prices, and staff could be more personable. Not worth the trip for me.

I used to go here often after work becuase it was on my way home, about 4 times a week. Then I noticed one of my half Oz's looked short. I measued it on the scale and it was 7g. It just happened again and I didnt notice till I was at my house. Idiots didint even give me the right stain.If you go here.MAKE SURE TO TELL THEM TO SHOW YOU THE FLOWER YOU PURCHASE, AND TO WEIGH IT IN FRONT OF YOU. THEY ARE SCAMMING REC PATIENTS.If I could put zero stars I would.Side note, some of the staff is cool. Ill give them that.

Visited 3/19/21...  Fastest Dispo in the Lakewood / Sheridan area. Late for a meeting, stopped in, the team of Brooke, Sam, and Tariq. The process from check in, to exit was under 5 mins. Wow!!!!   Amazing service!!!!

Terrible Customer service!!  DO NOT SHOP HERE for any of your cannabis needs! They do not care about the MMJ I explained that I have a heart condition with oxygen issues and could not wear a face mask, and even though I had an online order, they wouldn't let me in the store.  I was there to buy my medication which helps my condition, but it don't matter.  In fact, they didn't care so much that they told me," go but your cannabis somewhere else".I will NEVER shop there again and will tell everyone I know not to!

The store is a really convenient place to stop to get recreational marijuana needs taken care of. The staff are super polite and welcoming when you walk through the door this place is really clean and the process is usually really fast they have plenty of people to take care of all the customers so you won't be stuck waiting outside in a long line like most of the surrounding competitors the parking can be tricky and be super careful trying to pull back out on the Sheridan

Left my regular place after 6 years for these guys and was impressed with the quality but disappointed with the constant lack of product. Wax is decent quality half of the time but not often in stock, every time I try to make a purchase they are sold out of whatever I want so I am forced to settle for something that does not help much at all. Their products and especially concentrates are very inconsistent as most days it is liquid rather than budder or wax (they call it SAP) it is very messy and hard to deal with and you get no discount for the trouble! Flower is potent, fragrant and dense but again popular and favorite strains are almost never in stock. Staff is usually friendly but the guys behind the cage can be very moody. It's been a bad experience for me so again I will go looking for a better quality shop with products regularly in stock.
