Have been going to these care stations for years when they were only located in Boulder. Went in today with some friends and they didn't accept either forms of my identification so I continued to to wait in the lobby only to then get asked to stand outside even though I had two forms of valid identification on my person. I would not recommend this location or care station to anyone else ever again. Ridiculous. Not to mention it was in the 40°s outside at the time. Horrible service. Please don't support this less than desirable establishment.

This used to be my favorite dispensary. I would drive out of my way to visit. But now the new bud tenders are all so rude and don't have any customer service skills. I used to come in a few times a week and they know who I am (used to greet me my name) yet now I'm being asked to take off my sunglasses while I'm inside (even though I took them off to show my id). I can't see without my prescription glasses, this seems like it would be a violation of my rights. Also this is the only store I've been to that won't let you text message while in the store. Tonight I literally pressed the home button on my phone to check the time and it opened to my text screen on accidentally and the bud tender asks me to stop using my phone. Seems a bit silly. Especially when I'm paying good money for a pack of joints that won't stay lit and have stems poking holes through them. I'll stick to my local shop where the staff are friendly and welcoming. Sad to see such a great place go downhill.

Such an excellent dispensary. I've had great experiences with the staff who have been very friendly and patient with my questions. Terrapin has excellent deals as well when it comes to flower pricing, disposable bale pens, and their Terrapins packs are incredible! Thanks guys!!

Terrapin always has amazing wax for an amazing price.  And the bud tenders are very knowledgeable about the strains in stock. They have all you're favorite edibles Cheba Chews, Incredibles, CODAS, Wana Gummies, etc.  And there loyalty program is amazing!!!

Worst customer service on the planet. And they no idea how to socially distance their customers.

We're all different when it comes to THC and how we like to use it. You got your dabberz, your distillate tokers, your edible eaters.. I personally enjoy getting high the old fashioned way.. Flower, preferably in paper. And I love both indica and sativa, but I normally go for hybrids that lean towards the indica side. So, with all of that being said, Terrapin has excellent flower..When I shop for medicine I'm always looking for the best quality for the least amount of cash and Terrapin is right on point. Great weed for great prices AND the service was super friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and professional.

The management reminds me of street dealers, you should be great full they sell to you, that is a thugs point of view. I have wanted ginger mints I was told to forget it not enough profit. Oh well, sad really, times they are a changin.

Waited over 20 minutes and never got any help, they have three employees working and one is sitting here just talking on the phone behind the counter. There was only one person in the store, so why couldn't they help me too? He needed all three employees help? I went to ask for my ID back so I can go to another dispensary and she literally made eye contact with me and got up and left. I will never come here again.

I went to this location for the first time today (ignoring the low reviews) and was pleasantly surprised!! I only purchased edibles so I can't speak on the quality of the flower, but overall we had a great experience! This location is working very hard to keep things sanitized and people spread out. The process was easy, we ordered inside the waiting area and waited outside while it was being put together. The staff was helpful and friendly. I'm excited to go back soon!

I've been to a handful of dispensaries across the state, but today's experience definitely took the cake. My budtender Bryan was super helpful, personable, and happy to answer any questions I had. The service was also great. I live in Longmont, but I can definitely see myself making the trek back up here!

I had previously great experiences at Terrapin in Boulder so I figured this one would be just as good. I walked in with my 8 week old puppy who was contained on a leash. I couldn't leave him in the car due to the cold and he can't be alone. The woman who took my I.D. was EXTREMELY rude. She told me that dogs aren't allowed in dispensaries. Which I respected, however I've taken my puppy and have seen plenty of other dogs in multiple dispensaries. The bud tenders and everyone else was great besides the woman at the front desk. Walking into a place with someone being immediately rude made me want to turn around and walk right out. Learn how to treat and talk to customers. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

They are in the business of ripping people off. They lie about what they put in their products. Went there today and made a purchase. Big disappointment. Their customer service is awful. What a terrible experience.

Member of this company for a very long time, and this will be the LAST time I go to that store, or any Terrapin-owned store until they address this. Armed Security officer on Broadway with hat displaying "Don't Tread on Me" with snake image. When I confronted store staff about the context and racial history of this symbol and statement, they were overtly fragile, rude, and unaccountable. I discussed the impact over intention of this - how the original Gadsen flag was not seeded in racist tones when initially created, BUT Gadsen himself enslaved people and sold them during his lifetime. And now, we know as a society that symbols can be changed into hateful rhetoric, even declared workplace harassment by the EEOC in one case. Symbols change- consider the swastika utilized by Buddhists for centuries prior to H*tler's regime. I asked them how this symbol could effect Black individuals coming into the store, and the manager repeatedly stated, "I can't force him to take it off." NO SH*T. I would never suggest placing one's hands on any one else's. Terrible navigation and customer service during this time when, as a community, we need open discussions around these topics. I have elevated this concern to upper management and here, in hopes they will truly align their stance on anti racism with ground operations. BIPOC community should avoid this establishment until management ensures racist and hate speech symbols are not worn by their paid employees. Terrapin pays this security company, who employees this individual. I did speak to the security guard and told him the history of his hat, and he told me I was wrong and to not take his photo.UPDATE: I have spoken with Terrapin management and they are implementing an equity and bias training, along with other measures, to educate employees on racism, and being an actively anti racist culture and company. This includes how they stand up for what is right at their store fronts. I will check back in with their company in 1-2 months to see if action steps are being followed through.

The Denver Broadway location is very inconsistent, in both service and pricing. Their deals are "online only" but nowhere in their marketing does it state this. Beware - they like to also discount 1/4 ounces based on who is working (sometimes I get them for $40 out the door or $45 - I have the receipts to prove it, since they can't ring up the discounts correctly if you are early bird and a Denver resident). I appreciate the discounts - but please be consistent!

I have come here a few times in the past, and the service is never great, but the prices are cheaper than other dispos. Today, they were especially rude. Their online inventory is COMPLETELY different than what they offer. I had to fill out a menu sheet and circle the item I wanted. They didn't have anything they had online, and the guy (JAMES) who was helping me was an ass, did not properly answer my basic questions about product (mg per package), and in the end I bought a package without seeing it in that had 1/2 the mg's promised. Worst place ever

Didn't care for the bud tenders at all, no knowledge given or offered.The buds were underwhelming in taste and trichomes. 2 blocks away from my house, my thought was this shop is to be my go-to but in turn i'll never 'go to' again. Keep looking...

May too many dispensaries in the area to waste your money here. Don't be fooled by low prices. It's low quality dirt weed

I was going through my bank statements and realized someone stole my debit card information and has been using it at ATMs in the area. The last place I used it (I NEVER use my debit card) was here, last September. They had a handheld device, took my card away from me for a few minutes and then returned, which I thought was weird. Since then, very specific amounts have been taken out every month at ATMs in gas stations and fast food restaurants -- I don't eat fast food, and I don't use ATMs anywhere, let alone inside a gas station.Because this is literally the last place I personally used my card, I thought I'd post this as a warning. Luckily, the card is canceled and my bank is taking care of me, but heads up for everyone else.

Brittany is over the top rude. I will NOT be going to this location again due to her snarky attitude, short responses, and just seems generally miserable in her position. I am a frequent terrapin shopper at other locations in the metro area, but this one has been completely ruined by her treating another retail environment employee like complete garbage. I will happily drive out of my way to not shop here. I suggest you do the same. You would think people serving other people marijuana would not be a hard process - well apparently not.

Went here for the 1st time last week. Only bought edibles - I was searching for 1906 chocolates, and this was the only dispensary I found in the area that carried ALL of the varieties I wanted! You can easily put in an online order or phone order to pick up and pay in person. The online inventory was missing one of the chocolates I needed, but when I called, they said they actually had it in stock so they put in a phone order for me instead. So if you don't see what you're looking for online, maybe call them to double check. The pick up/payment process was super easy. I waited outside and someone greeted me right away to check my ID and check for my order. You can pay cash or with debit card, but heads up, they charge a $3 processing fee for debit. The service was very prompt and friendly!

I've always loved coming here. They have a great deal I take advantage of, when recently the price on it dropped even more! The people are always nice. A great variety of everything. Not to mention their frequent customer service plan means I get a huge discount every few visits! I've visited quite a few dispensaries and Terrapin is by far the best. Highly recommended.

Best place by far! I love getting anything from them..oils,weed, edibles, CBd. You name it!!!! Never have they ever let me down. Prices are very reasonable as well!!

This dispensary is garbage. On the off chance they aren't randomly closed for no apparent reason aside from hiring shit employees who can't be bothered to show up, you'll be lucky if they have what you're looking for in stock. Double Bear concentrates? Good luck! They're happy to advertise it on Weedmaps, yet it's almost guaranteed they will be "out of stock" when you arrive. It doesn't matter if you're the first customer of the day or the last. The employees will be unapologetic about this and be quite rude when you ask them to price-match with a different in-stock concentrate (the common expected customer service practice). There's a lot of places to buy weed. More dispensaries in the Denver area than Starbucks. You don't have to settle for a dispensary run by inexperienced dropout teens.

I have been into this business several times and I've had some fantastic experiences! the last two times I've ended up with budtenders wanting to make a sale regardless if the customer is interested in the product they are offering they were out of what I wanted I wish I had gotten first budtenders name! I asked the second one for his name, and he told me he didn't have to give it to me so I asked the person at the front desk! Austin came out and said my name is Austin like the city! He told me that I could take my business elsewhere!  I asked for a supervisor,  hthe name I was given was Wesley S with a bogus email (it bounced back) I went on the website and contacted the corporate office now I'm on social media

If you are buying rec, this is the place to buy.  The waiting area is clean and security is always friendly.  The wait times are short, if any.  They have a good selection and helpful staff.  Mostly.  Alright there's this one budtender who I have gotten the last two times I have gone.  I want to tell her that the 90s are over and she should smile.  But she's too cool to be happy or to speak in multisyllabic words or to bother to know which of the concentrates are sativas and which are indicas.  Which is really important and really easy, since there's only like 6 on the menu.  Which is a fine number to have on the menu, but it's not that much to remember.  The other budtenders seem happy and outgoing.  I just don't get them.  I get surly girl every time.  It's 2017; it's okay to engage with the world.

I was in and out pretty quickly staff was very friendly and knowledgeable lots of quality products got exactly what I came for.. I would recommend this dispensary if your in the area..! Prices were very reasonable nice clean and smells delicious enjoy your self while in Aurora

Been going there for a while now. Recently they upped the prices on most of there products. Also, they no longer have any concentrates. Been there last two weeks to see empty shelves. The two strains they had on hand looked absolutely awful. Honestly, they had some decent stuff a few months ago, now its a full diaper load!!! Thanks Terrapin Care Station for making the industry look like garbage.

Great shop! They have great customer service, helpful bud tenders, good selection, and it has still been the cheapest place I've been to. I walked out with two eighths of different bud as well as a gram of shatter for less than 80 dollars. Terrapin is my favorite dispensary by far.

A couple of buddies and I went to Denver and the first place we hit was this dispensary place!! :-) :-) :-) :-) it was awesome!!! Wall to wall stuff edibles galore!!! The gentleman helping us was very helpful and very knowledgeable with the items for sale.  Let's just say the items we bought kept us really chilled out during our stay in Denver!!! I would definitely come back to this place!!!

This recreational clinic was amazing as far as the ones I visited while in CO.  (see my other reviews for the other clinics you want to avoid!)Tuesday I got a smoke stack and $5 off.Wednesday between 8am-10am you get a % off (I think it was 10% but I'm not for sure)The "budtenders" are super helpful and give their opinion on the products.  They take their time, explained to me what I could purchase being from out of state, etc etc.  They were friendly every visit and even the wait time during the morning hours went pretty quick.  Even the differently security guards on each visit were friendly.Thanks for a SUPER birthday vacation!

After a year of decent service and great product today is the last day I'll be going to Terrapin Care Station. They have digressed completely from what they used to be and after a year of service my wife's chauffeur license was turned away by some new kid and new management out of blatant ignorance. It's disappointing how crowded and unprofessional they've become. Such is life.

They don't give clear statements about there anonymous 2.75 charge that they tax onto them rounding up ur dollars when u use a debit card. So for instance my purchase was 14.89 .... I spent hours looking at my statement trying to find the purchase .... but low and behold I get a charge from Terrapin for 17.75 so I'm wondering like what is going on.... I go there the next day and speak to a manager she tells me so they rounded my purchase to 15.00 give me the rest of the change but the credit or debit company they use charges 2.75 on top of that lol oh really then she tells me it's on the pin pad but they take ur card and swipe it and never mention the fee..... Long story short Use cash or else u will be feeling bamboozled. Quality was off also compared to the other companies in the Area smh sad felt like I wasted money there total spent $60 bucks :( .......update just checked my statement and they actually charge an extra 2.50 on top of the 2.50 they already charged its a separate charge on my statement. I'm certainly thinking about disputing those charges.... This place is a total Scam........

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place sucks. Their flower is garbage and their customer service is horrible. Won't be returning.

I had an issue with a visit to Terrapin on 33rd, but I have to say they have been exceptional in handling my complaint. How often can you say that ? I had been there a few times and liked the place and the merch, so I was disappointed when I left last time wondering if I should go back. This time was more to my expectations ;-) It's nice to be a welcome customer.

I love this place! I've been to a handful of spots all over town trying to find 'my place' and I can confidently say this is it. Fast and friendly service (don't let the waiting room fool you) and the best price to quality ratio I've experienced here in Denver. I've been ripped off and treated poorly at other places, so discovering Terrapin was refreshing. Bonus: you can pay with your debit card.

I got great customer service from my budtender Swish. Hooked it up! Next time I will probably try to order with weedmaps first & skip the wait

Went twice with my state issued valid ID, which is cleared by security just for the store staff to deny me service because they don't recognize my state ID. Worst customer service I have ever ever experienced in my life. Staff are rude and dismissive. Will never be going back and will never recommend this place to anyone.

I'm a regular of Terrapin due to Willie's Reserve stock. Its not in a great location, though. It's in old part of Aurora, Yuck!

Great buds in this place and best prices around. I don't go anywhere else. The staff are always great, I always have a good experience.

I have to say I always have been impressed with terrapin care station. They are always friendly and helpful, the place is well lit and clean and it is just a good atmosphere. Some places can be overwhelming or I feel pressured with lines but I never have a problem checking out the different strains and the tenders give good advice. They still have a good variety of strains for every price too so you don't feel gouged when a place "only has top strains". I definitely recommend Terrapin Station for bud as well as the Grateful Dead album.

Robert was my budtender tonight and he showed me that all employees here treat people with the most respect possible. Love this place and the quality of their staff and bud. Keep it real guys! This place is the best in Aurora! Killer pricing! Amazing staff! Super friendly, everyone there is more then willing to stay and have a 30min conversation about everything you want to know about. Not many Rec shops do that anymore. They whole the weed out right now cause the grow for that store was just set-up is what I was told by a budtender. They told they're weed will be back in about 13weeks. Love this place! Coming in for the $99 Conductor Deal on 4/20!

I love their selection , but lately whom ever rolls the joints THEY ARE ROLLED TOO TIGHT! Ease up, I'm tryna get some actual puffs. Other than that, love this place. Nice customer service!

Went here to buy a high CBD strain to help with anxiety. The tender was very friendly and helpful. I told her that I recently got a medical marijuana card and was looking to join a membership somewhere. Because I was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor, I have rights to 34 plants. She wasn't sure where I would be able to get the best deal for signing away my rights for that many plants, so she called her friend over. He came over and in the most pompous way said "Oh, so you have a high plant count too huh? You've got 34? I've got 36!" Yeah, okay. And I have a brain tumor. Thanks dude. "Yeah, you're not gonna get any deals just because you have more plants, maybe if you were earlier in on the scene". Rude. Unhelpful. Pompous.

Loyal customer and I Love this dispensary. Now that they started growing their own weed the prices are better than they used to be! Also there is never a long wait which is nice.

I can't praise Terrapin more highly on any aspect of their business: their phone service was excellent (they are one of the few shops in Boulder to sell to out of state residents); they are extremely kind, informed, and helpful; and their product is excellent. For those interested in edibles, try the jewel hard candies. They taste fantastic and come with a special surprise an hour later!I honestly could not rate this shop more highly (lame pun not intended).P.S. I went to the shop at 1795 Folsom, which was within easy walking distance from downtown.

The worst place for your herb the bud comes from Denver relief or gg all there bud has mold  dried dead aphids and the bud tenders are the rudest people I ever met they thing there gods they are the biggest losers and they could care less about what you need the owner is a piece of shit that lives in another state and  could careless about the Mmj only in it for the profit fuck making people sick with his herb and making people go crazy with his  budtenders attitudes I sent the Mmj to the health department and also let the city know   Please close this cancer of a store  thank you for getting me sick with your meds

INCONSISTENT!! If you want happy, repeat customers (as we have been, since moving here a year ago), KEEP YOUR POLICIES CONSISTENT!As we know, residents of Aurora/Colorado get an amazing discount, so supporting a local business with a LOCAL ID should be perfectly normal, right? Apparently not!?! A few months ago, while MY driver's license was being changed to CO, all I had to do was present my out-of-state license & temporary CO license--no problem at all! My husband went today with the EXACT same out-of-state license & temp license & the security guard told him that he now cannot support our favorite shop by purchasing ANYTHING until his new license arrives?!?! We will be looking for a new shop that appreciates loyal customers. KEEP YOUR POLICIES THE SAME! Way to make something fun & relaxing into something FAR more stressful & complicated! Very disappointing.

Been buying here for years... this issue never happened to me before. I've bought 8 grams here nearly everytime I come in atleast once a week, for years. I come in, buy an 8 pack. All the grams come in individual packages, when I get home, one of the packages is empty. I call the store and let them know and I get "since you left the store, there's really nothing we can do"... after years of purchasing it just kind of got to me that they'd think I'm trying to get over on 1 gram, when I buy 8 a week. Just on GP I had to find my concentrates elsewhere. Oh well. Point of the review is make sure you check your packages before you leave the store, and make sure you got what you paid for cause they don't have quality control enough to make sure they're not selling empty packages. I wasn't going to leave a review but decided people need to know who they're dealing with. Just can't support people who steal.

Dislike patronizing this shop but they are the only one in walking distance. Budtenders are all young and cool and almost invariably indifferent if not downright rude. Getting answers was like pulling teeth; questions seemed to annoy (never had a female tender, but the guys are extremely unfriendly and uninformative.) Apparently they don't like waiting on dowdy old ladies. If you are a novice or old, and can drive, go elsewhere. Selection isn't great either.

The staff was rude. I reviewed them on Facebook and they deleted the comment the next day so I'm here now. My sister and I were treated so horribly by one of the staff that we will never spend money there again. The staff needs customer service training. The rules for curbside pickup are not clear when you arrive on site and they hate answering questions.

Bud tenders have horrible attitudes not very friendly . Its like you're buying off the street again with these guys cause they want you to hurry up choose and go .

Staff is nice but needs to get with 2020, me and my fiancé are regulars here and they told him to get a Legal virtual ID and when we went back to use it they said they don't accept it. They are constantly out of the specials when I come after I get texts. I wish I could still buy weed here but I'm just done.

Ever since they changed buildings this place has got worse and worse. They used to have a pretty good rewards system where you'd get $42 in credit for every $420 you spend but now it's some BS check in point system. Prices used to be hood but they just keep on raising them. That used to be the only reason I would drive the 20 minutes over here instead of shopping at the Green Solution down the street from my house. Not any more though. The prices are now too much to justify for the quality of weed they sell. I'll be cashing out what little points I've built up and won't be back.

I had driven by this place numerous times and never noticed it was there even though it's huge. Excellent customer service and great prices. I doubt I will go to a different dispensary ever again. The "security" guy at the front was a bit awkward and unwelcoming, but overall a great experience.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Everyone I encountered had a horrible attitude, not interesting in helping anybody, and was not nice at all. I understand people having bad days but this did not appear to be the case. By the way in case you were wanting to buy that $99 oz's of wax that are listed on the website don't be surprised like me when you only get 8 grams of wax because it "equals an ounce in bud". Well, if you didn't advertise it to be 28 grams of wax rather than 8 grams maybe people wouldn't be surprised. Wax was also dry and will likely go bad before I can even smoke it all.

Security Lady needs to chill out she's not a cop she's only there to protect and secure the property and business have her stand the hell away from the Window that u check in with that's not her job!

The team here is amazing!Any problems I've had with carts , they've made it right . Awesome attitudes and amazing suggestions after I had my ankle surgery. These guys rock!!!

I had a great experience shopping here. All of the staff were so nice and friendly. Also, a great selection of products. Leon, my budtender, was so helpful, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be returning again. You guys are awesome!

I literally go here at least twice a week. Absolutely the best deals for concentrates and flower around. Prices are usually pretty low for the level of potentency and the daily deals/ specials are amazing. They're re always super nice, helpful and always give my dog treats. Safe and secure with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. I live in the area and there are a few spots but this is by far my personal favorite.

I always have a great experience here but today Leon was the absolute best! I’ve been coming to terrapin for years and have some idea about the house strains but he was so knowledgeable and had great recommendations. Super friendly and I hope to get him again as my bud tender next time!

I've been a regular at this dispensary for almost three years now and I'm never disappointed with the caliber of people who work there. Today was especially great because I was in a bit of a bad mood on my way down, but left with a huge smile on my face. The budtender (whose name I didn't catch, unfortunately) was a cheerful older gentleman who stated that he was new there. He was incredibly pleasant and helpful. Just his cheerful disposition was enough to turn my day around and get me on a positive wavelength. Five stars again for this quality dispensary and amazingly kind staff. Thanks again, Terrapin!

I have visited over 250 recreational dispensaries in Colorado having been an outside sales rep for various Cannabis companies over 5 years. Believe me when I say that Terrapin is the best of them overall, no question. Terrapin Folsom was my first marijuana job, so I've seen the company inside and out. From the employees attitudes to the way they grow and experiment with genetics to the price, everything at Terrapin is the best. All the stores are incredibly efficient and even the downtown one (this one) has parking. You will not find a better quality over price in Colorado. Some of the lowest prices but great flower and even better concentrates. Most of their normal stuff isn't super fancy (some is though), but it is miles better than anything else near it in price.
