My second time at a dispensary since I moved here. The first one wasn't so good, then I stopped in Native Roots Highlands today and it was great. Selection was great and Max was REALLY helpful and knowledgable. Thank you Max for the experience I was hoping for the first time around.

Update review as of 5/17/2017:Just amazing people here. We worked with Chris today, since Summer was busy, and he was just as friendly, knowledgeable, and open about how to help us. We will be traveling soon, but when we return to Denver, this is the only clinic we will use. Both Summer and Chris were superb and I recommend Native Roots Highlands to anyone that wants professional help.Ps. They will spend as much time as you need and they deserve a bit of love from us consumers, so give them a tip if you can afford it.  :-)

I am a big fan of Native Roots dispensaries. The weed is always GREAT. The pricing is clear and easy to understand. Today was probably like 100 something visit as I am a medical patient and a member here. Andrea helped me at this store today for the first time. I have met her and seen her before but today was the first time I got the pleasure of being helped Andrea. She is knowledgeable, kind, funny, fast,  efficient and made me feel so comfortable and welcome. Thank you Miss Andrea for making an awesome place even awesomer! Thanks y'all at native roots and thanks especially to Andrea!

Native Roots is by far my favorite weed boutique. Daniel was extremely helpful, informative and patient with us. He Explained all details and promotions very clearly. They had great deals and awesome products!! You won't be disappointed!

I am a native and have shopped in many dispensaries around Colorado:   I have stopped into this particular dispensary 2x -when in the area and have walked out both times.   They have a man on staff (who acts like a manager) that is literally the RUDEST person I have ever come across in the customer service industry.   I happily brought my business to a dispensary down the street that treats customers respectfully.    I will never shop here again-  and i told every person I came across today about my experience.   Apparently I'm not the only one who has had a terrible experience here.    I think the owner should think about restaffing- because the location is great.

Worst dispensary in the state of ColoradoAs a driver in Colorado, I will tell every passenger NOT TO SHOP NATIVE POOPS!This dispensary likes to ban people for everI was desperate for a joint and I went in there but since I was banned before the mother fuckers kicked me out again!They have mold on their joints that's why they sell them so cheap.

I am a Novus marijuana consumer. I definitely did not know what to expect going into native roots. This was the only dispensary I have seen that did not look shady and was very inviting to go into. It's like waiting in the doctors office you hand them your ID then wait to go in the back. Maxwell, a very knowledgeable pharmacist, helped educate me on the different products they provide. After I had made my purchase I had asked what Denver and the surrounding area had to offer once again he did not disappoint I have planned my day based on his recommendations.

I live in Denver and heard people say Native Roots was good but when I had a late lunch at a restaurant on 32nd today and took a friend into the Native Roots a few doors down, we were waited on by the snarkiest, rudest budtender ever. I had a few questions and he seemed annoyed he had to tolerate our presence, let alone sell us cannabis. Colorado has plenty of places to buy cannabis- and that guy clearly doesn't need or want the business, so I'll pass on Native Roots and go to literally any other dispensary. I don't need to get treated like I'm ruining some guys day for asking questions- after being rude and snarky the entire time, after he handed me my change he said, "I appreciate that tip!" very loudly, calling attention to the fact I didn't tip him. My friend didn't bother buying anything at all. As we walked out she said, "What the hell was that guy's problem? I didn't want to ask him anything, I thought he'd be rude to me too" I didn't tip him because he was rude from start to finish. Just rude and snarky so yeah, I'll pass on your tip. I always tip at my regular dispensary and throw a few bucks in the jar, but I'm definitely not tipping some rude budtender that clearly doesn't enjoy waiting on people- native roots definitely won't be a regular stop.

Great spot. Very professional and knowledgeable staff! Highly recommend a trip to Highland Pub & Burger after visiting. Buenas Ondas!

Today I called from the state of Maryland to Native Roots Highlands CO from a Google search. Numerous questions that I felt needed to be answered right from the source!  Elle answered all my specific questions and had a great outlook on the future for other states providing a dispensary to assist  individuals in pain and with other health issues.  Suffering from Lyme disease for over 10 years I was so happy to hear CO has medical marijuana available for those in need of relief from the various symptoms tick bourne diseases present.  I would recommend this store definitely!  Elle has excellent customer service and tells it like it is no candy coating, plain truth.  I felt her compassion over the phone and will keep this number handy for any questions in the future.  This dispensary is very knowledgeable and presents empathy for those in need.  Thank you Elle.Nancy Brooks

Poor selection of products. No hash pen cartridges at all. And they will make you wait even if no one is in front of you

Not from CO but had been to a handful of dispensaries in the past couple years when I travel out west. I'm from Alabama. I found this dispo simply from reading reviews on yelp. Native Roots provided quality customer service and conversation. I'll definitely be returning once I move to Denver soon!

Visited this morning and had the most wonderful budtender, Jovauehn. He was very knowledgeable about all of the products and answered all my questions happily. Best experience at a dispensary I've had so far! Thanks!!

Strong 2 out of 5 stars... most of the employees are amazing. However, there is a gentleman who is completely pompous and gives off the worst vibes for someone who works in customer service.

Chill spot in a great neighborhood with fair prices and super helpful staff. Very close to downtown in trendy LoHi.

If you close at 10 pm, then please don't lock your doors at 9:50. Our transaction would've taken 5 minutes. Don't bother coming to this establishment, go straight to Simply Pure across the street.

The customer service I received from my budtender was solid (sorry I don't recall his name), which is why I'm giving 2 stars, not 1. The flower selection was not great when I was in (maybe 8 total strains that weren't pre-packaged crumble). During my shopping experience, I felt very crowded for a store that is practicing social distancing. There was another customer shopping with a different budtender, and the woman was literally right behind me, with no more than a foot between us. That made me feel pretty uncomfortable. I ended up getting two 1/8s of Veritas Grape OZ, which was pretty pricey at $75 a quarter. The bud looked good, but when I broke it up it was extremely dry and was harsh when I smoked it. I could have gotten the cheaper Native Roots flower, but the Veritas was the best looking from what I could tell. Overall, I was disappointed in this experience. I've had better experiences at different locations.

We bought an ounce that was not trimmed we lost more than half our weight in waste super sad b it taste so good.!

The med side is the weakest selection around. Their flower & wax is consistent but they don't have a variety of edibles unless you're a rec client & it doesn't get that much better. Always out of products that are in display case. Most tenders know what their talking about but some are lost

I don't smoke weed and am not educated at all, but while on vacation in Colorado I thought it would be fun to check out as this is clearly the future.The woman who helped us was very knowledgable and patient. She provided me with a lot of information about what they sold and spent time talking to us about everything. It was definitely eye-opening to see everything from cookies, to flour, to beer.Since I don't smoke I'm not familiar with pricing but was told by my companion that the products were quite inexpensive.

This place is great!  Everytime I've been in they have gotten me in right away.  The place is very clean, a lot of products to choose from and the staff is very nice and very helpful to make sure you get the right stuff for you.    I definitely won't go anywhere else but here.

When you visit Denver you can't not stop into a dispensary. Cool spot downtown with great service. The guy we talked to was knowledgeable and took the time to help you understand their products and make recommendations.

Pot isn't of much interest to me, but I went here on a long-shot hope that there was something I could take to alleviate a week-long stress attack. The young woman who helped me was so kind and knowledgeable, and she really listened. I took her recommendation for some dissolving micro-dose tablets and my anxiety is back to manageable. I'm very grateful for the exceptional customer care that I received.

I went in this afternoon and asked employee Katie B. a few questions. She was very unhelpful and unfriendly. I thought bud tenders were supposed to have some expertise? Or at the minimum, refrain from being flat out unpleasant. There are plenty of dispensaries in Denver, steer clear of this dud.

Very helpful and friendly. Pre-rolls are only six dollars and half ounces are $50, ounces are $90. Remember that they don't accept credit but they do have an ATM on site which is nice.
