Clean facility and with great customer service. They have a great selection and are friendly. They have quality products are fair prices. I highly recommend!

I had my first experience with any dispensary and I can't say enough about the entire staff. I was new to this and battling cancer, have anxiety and can't sleep and the staff spent quite a bit of time explaining each product and made great recommendations for various products to try. Everyone has been so helpful and I am doing better. The facility is beautiful and the room you go into for product is clean and nothing like I envisioned since I have never been in one but have seen other dispensaries that I wouldn't step foot in.I can't say enough about my experience and urge others to try Giving Tree.

I only order online to pick up. My only dislike is there are no first time customer gifts for recreational uses.  Being as that I am from Southern California, that is something that I loved about exploring new places. The budtenders are amazing and so friendly. The small amount of time that I am in there, I am always laughing and able to feel comfortable in there. I totally recommend online orders. You are in and out in a few minutes.

Quality medicine, all the staff is awesome and Shae at the front desk is the best! I love that there's always water and snacks in the lobby area and plenty of parking. Order online for quicker assistance~

Why the increase in price? I noticed the tree has taken an increase in 1/8's. Supply and demand?

This place is right next to my house so it's super convenient! The building used to be an eye of a dilapidated gas station until this incredible business came in and made it look super modern and inviting. It's nice to see businesses thriving in the area! It's been understandably busy since it's grand opening but for very good reason. The shop itself is organized, very clean and the staff is truly top notch! Sometimes I catch the crew dancing, or having a real conversation with guests -- the products are top notch and they always have my favorite flowers in stock. If you're in the area please stop by this place and experience how awesome this businesses is ran.

It was my first time visiting his dispensary.  I ordered online and got a text almost immediately that my order was ready.  There was a short line on the medical and recreational side but it moved very quickly!  The security guard manning the door was very friendly!  Once inside I was greeted by Dominic, who gave me my total so I was able to get money from their in house ATM.  Dominic was super kind and helpful!  The whole process, including waiting in line, took no more than 10 minutes.  Overall a great experience and this will definitely be my new spot!  You guys are killing it!

Good products good prices decent service. I hate to be the Yelp snob, but they come with the weed a lil too slow. I haven't been to another dispensary in az, but vegas pumps their customers out. Lived there 3 years, been to 20 spots. Never quite this slow. 4 stars for being close and prices aren't too bad. But tighten it up on speed. I'll give you five stars. Friendly front office, I love how they give you literature on different items and how they work, I also like they give a log of what symptoms and what strain and how it worked which is helpful for sure. Francisco I believe his name was he was very friendly and helpful. Good customer service.

I love Giving Tree Dispensary!  Their flower is my favorite of all I have tried throughout the valley.  Their staff is really friendly,  helpful and informative.  I can't wait to see their renovations and pick up some White Widow.  By far my favorite strain

This place is a joke wasn't open forever because of Covid now they want you to wear a mask to go in.  will spend my hard earned money somewhere else.

Sold me what must have been about 10 year old flower, so it's time to find a new dispensary.

My first visit to this dispensary is my last. Placed an order for recreational edibles. Got a confirmation that my order was placed and told to wait for it to be processed to come over. After 3 hours, I tried calling and it says connecting and goes to hold music and no one ever picks up. Went there in person and they told me that the order didn't go through because of the quantity. I selected recreational on the site and figured it would show what I am qualified to buy. Then I waited in line and told the buttender I wanted sativa. They sold me indica. Went back to the store and they said they sold out of sativa. They apologized but that doesn't help much wasting a day on this place. The kicker is they knew their website didn't work and they said they didn't answer their phones because they didn't want to take calls from regulators. If you don't have a website that works then don't have a website and if you don't answer your phones don't have a phone number.

Great dispensary! Helpful staff. This has made a world of difference for my husband. The knowledgeable professionals have helped tremendously.

Normally my favorite dispensary but the new location and recreational it's changed my mind. A lot of people don't want to come in because of Covid, we now can't make curbside orders and have to go in for mobile orders because recreational gets them too. It's exactly like other dispensary's when Covid began with two lines outside, just definitely not my favorite place anymore.

I only go when the have deals on concentrate because it's close to my house. There flower is overpriced and not real good.

This was probably the worst experience I have ever had at a dispensary,  bald dude behind the counter grilled me like a crook, and then security followed me outside..lol..keep your over priced flower, take advantage of the bogo then find a professional dispensary who's employees have tact....shame the girl who served me earned the 2 stars,  bald locks ruined this place for me....urban greenhouse I'm coming back!

I used to go here all the time.  You could use your credit card at the register,  great points system etc.     Now you have to type your phone number in to get points and then you get a series of text messages and I have to use their ATM now too?  Nah!  Start doing $175 ounce specials and I'll be back.  Too much BS for the overpriced product.  The staff is and always has been top notch, I'll give them that.  It's the corporate numbnutz who make the decisions that drive customers away.  They really do think the average consumer is stupid.

Very attentive staff and quick service! I'm very conveniently located and great product. It just so happens that my first visit to GTD couldn't have gone any better. I happened to be there on a day they were giving away free pipes AND free shirts. Totally a coincidence but still. I walked away with a free pre-roll and purchased an eight of Kimbo Kush and White Widow. I've yet to smoke the WW but I couldn't have been happier with the Kush. The smell filled my whole house (which i am not opposed to). Really love the environment here too, it's leas of a weed shop and more of a medical wellness center. Very classy. Awesome staff. Will be back again!

Staff is CBD knowledgable. 1:1 capsules...how perfect!! Nice selection of products and very solid prices. Recommended!!!

* UPDATE *THEN AND NOWAfter getting my AZ MMJ card in January,  being a "Senior Baby Boomer", my last 'fling' with "POT" was in the 70's. I was 'expecting' a "70's Head. Shop". When I walked in the front door, then into the shop, I thought I was in an Apple Store.  (Ok heard of "Sativa" heard of "Indica" that was as much as I knew. Except the over the counter CBD "sublingual" tinctures. I tried them ALL for the last 6+ years.I've been living in CHRONIC pain, on 200mcg Fentanyl Patches, 15mg OxyCodone,10mg of Diazepam, 45mg Restoril(Temazepam)21 YEARS that Exact regimen, once, after 3 years, we massaged the regimen and the above Opioids & Benzo.Knowing that our Mr McCain's highest priority is "Making AZ the Hardest and Harshest state in the country on "the now proven false figures to support a flimsy case of "Opioid Crisis, seems it isnt a crisis at all. It was fabricated.Fortunately for me the pain management doctor I've been seeing before all the chemotherapy and cancers and all that said. look I we don't know where this thing is gonna land the 1st of the year I'd like to start to titrate you down slowly. The Benzo's alien gave a half life if 20 days, after 21 years, that better be done right.When my oncologist and PCP said, with your body's lack of an immune system.Both said "Maybe its time to try something new, get a MMJ card and see if some of the "real" CBDs and at night try the CBDs AND some that will help with skeletal muscle spasms and pain.I didn't react much does it to said the last time I had anything to do with pot was in the seventies and it did nothing....(I don't care what anyone tells you,  ONLY full Med Grade hemp plant's CBD are worth ANYTHING. The junk you buy online of the "new CBD treats anything even old age")The young lady I spent time with could not have been nicer & more patient.  The 'old guy's memory is very foggy (Chemo Brain) and I wanted to know "Oh what's that thing?"I've tried ALL the dispensaries within a 25 mile radius around Phoenix.I only go to ONE PLACE FOR EVERYTHING, ( actually another Dispensary is the only one I've found that carries the brand CBD tincture, that works REALLY well, for me.)Eswverything else comes from one source.I also love the idea behind the tier 1  K.I.N.D. products, its worth the only slightly higher price (better product and supporting a great cause)Every staff I've met, have all been knowledgeable, EXTREMELY patient and plain ol'  kind. This is my "21st century CHEERS!!!"

What a fantastic experience!  I was nervous as this was my first time in a dispensary and they couldn't have made it more comfortable.  There's a comfortable waiting area for non-card holders to wait.  Paperwork was a snap and after getting a copy of my card and driver's license, I was taken into the shopping room.  They were extremely helpful and there was none of that if-you're-buying-this-you-should-be-in-the-know business.  Their products run the full spectrum with different strengths. If you're new to the game and want a friendly face for your first (or 50th) time, come here.

Sweet honest caring people. Everyone is nice and knowledgeable about the products. The place is clean and well kept. The prices are slightly higher. But I have noticed the product is way better than what I have purchased at other dispensaries. If you want something they don't have. They will find it for you! Even if they don't sell it This is how you do business! Very loyal to this place and will remain that way. They also reimburse atm fees. Which is awesome! I hope this place is around for a long time!

Nice staff, friendly, I don't feel intimidated.  This is all new to me and I hope they can help me find the right products to manage my chronic daily headaches.  The Giving Tree is a bit of a drive for me, but so far it's the most professional place I have visited and I will continue to go out of my way to use this dispensary.

I love this place. I've only been once, so far, but I will be going back! The staff was very helpful and patient with the many questions I've had. Everyone there made me feel comfortable considering how nervous I was walking in. I explained my symptoms and how I didn't want to feel, and the gentleman who was helping me suggested the perfect products. He never tried to "over" sell me-I'm assuming being an over bearing salesperson is not necessary in this business, the products sell themselves. It was overall a fantastic experience and I would recommend The Giving Tree to everyone with a card!

Just received  my card. First time customer at any dispensary, so I did not know what to expect. Rather dark and unfriendly environment.  I was only interested in edibles.  Was surprised and disappointed on how limited their selection was.  Was put off by the checkout.  Was informed my purchase was $42 and paid that amount. However, when I left and later checked my receipt, found the purchase price was only $41.40. What the heck?!  It may only be only $.60, but what does that say about the honesty of the company?  I noticed they had a tip jar on the counter  I guess they felt they were going to get a tip one way or another.  Not professional. Also, do not like that their edibles state "contain pesticides".  Would rather not have that in my system if I don't have to.

That was definately the nicest dispensary I've ever visited. I also got 10% off my first purchase and a free pre roll. Super impressed.

I love this location it is so clean and friendly and has great meds i would reccomend this location to anyone in the area.  I will always come back if im close enough

To expensive for the quality of flower. Like many dispensaries up north they charge extra to take advantage of the older folk who don't know better. Grams are 8-15$ in 2015 tops. TO EXPENSIVE

They have a nice facility but the owners are extremely rude and impatient. Yeah they will treat you nice at first to get the sale but after that it is all downhill. Have more self-respect than to shop here, there are a lot of other better and less expensive competitors to buy from.

my first time ever, anywhere to look into meds.  So very friendly and helpful!  I told her I was naive, and really knew nothing about what I was needing.  She walked me thru everything...very patient with this old man, and so sweet!  I highly recommend this place.  Feels very upscale, your grandma would feel ok about this place.  Friends had told me locations they have used are kind of sketchy/scary...for sure not Giving Tree.

My favorite dispensary in Phoenix.  Good reward program, professional service, great flowers and great edibles that are usually always in stock.  Best hash in town!I have been to many dispensaries in Phoenix and I keep coming back to this one.Recently remodeled inside and it looks great in there.

This was my first time in to The Giving Tree, and overall, I had a great experience.I'd recommend using the GPS to get here, the buildings are all pretty similar around here, and it took me a few to get my bearings.I walked in to a friendly greeting, and a very modern and clean waiting space. Presented my cards, and sat down to complete the standard first time patient forms, a couple pages of your basic questions. Once completed, I was escorted to a secondary waiting area behind locked doors. I waited about five minutes, and was called up to the purchasing counter. I'd recommend to take a look at the display before checking out the menu. Some of the pricing may not match up to your standards, and I felt some of the Tier 2 were better than the Tier 1 meds. Plus, the edibles and other goodies are located there as well. The only aspect of my experience that I did not like is: The meds were pre packaged. I was unable to verify the weight before I consumed some, but I'm not a fan of the pre packaged meds. Either way, I was satisfied with all of the product that I purchased, and everything was well trimmed and fresh. If the standard is pre packed meds in this area, then I would definitely come back to this dispensary.

Beware of Bait & Switch offers they tell you they have something for so much a gram then when you get there they say  that they're out.

Very nice place, clean, and a friendly, knowledgeable  staff. They have Happy hour, and other specials to help you save money on your medicine. I think the Food Drive they are having for our Veterans is wonderful. Bring in 5 canned food items and get a free preroll. I am happy to call them my new dispensary.

not real impressed with this place but the location is great. nice area. there was no wait at all to get in, but the girl that worked with me wasn't very helpful. she acted like she was reading from a script and she was afraid to stray off it. she wasn't very friendly.  she tried to push some vape cartridges and vape pen on me. don't like that kind of push to buy something. the place itself is nice and roomy and pleasant. I'll check a few more places out before i return here.

Very nice facility. The staff are very nice and personable. I also found the counter staff to be very knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions thoroughly without make me feel like I was bothering them. I will absolutely recommend them to people that ask.

Great staff and great products. The place is clean, everyone is very professional and can answer any questions patients may have. They have a great selection of products for all medicinal needs. Also, they have some really nice perks with their happy hour specials as well as their rewards program.  I would recommend them to any patient in the area. Keep up the good work guys!

Pleased with this place.  Professional, quick service,  great location.  All around good place..   good selection of flowers and other forms of distribution.  Id give living tree 4 1/2 stars..     I really appreciate the various charity programs they do.  There is one now to help kids with school  supplies.   Very admirable..   That alone got 1/2 a star..

Very knowledgeable/friendly staff, and fantastic meds!! In my opinion, the only dispensary that has the whole package.

The giving tree wellness center is awesome.  They have top quality meds and are very conveniently placed in the north valley.  Their staff is friendly and the facility is always clean and comfortable.  The prices/specials could be better but they are still one of my favorites.  Keep up the great work :-)

Normally I head to the nearest dispensary out of convenience but I'll drive the extra mile(s) for the service and vibe I get from here. My first visit was a phenomenal experience that will keep me going back for more! I appreciate the staffs knowledge and recommendations on strains to try. I was educated on terpines as well as what's best for anxiety and sleeplessness (Death Star does it for me!).

Stopped in randomly with the wife to check it out since we were close by. Was surprised with the variety of products compared to all the other places. The staff was super friendly and the place was very nice. Overall definitely recommend above all the other places nearby.

Be very careful folks, this dispensery has now on two occasions burned me with incredibly old flower. This time i documented it and brought it to the manager Erica's attention.Her resolution after apologizing for old product, which in my opinion is acknowledging the issue, moving forward asked me to drive back to dispensery with product and receipt and we'll give you store credit.Not even offering to replace it, but a store credit AND then i asked what happens to my legally recorded AZ state information on the allotment allowed and got the sorry we cannot change the purchase from your AZ state record but WILL record the amount again with using the "store credit". So, they have the product back (probably to re-sell) and i get recorded for the amount twice? Hmm that sure does NOT SOUND LEGAL TO ME? No thanks Giving Tree, you lost a customer.Hopefully the state monitors these messages. Bottomline folks, some clear ethics issues here if not illegal. Save your money and use one of the many other dispensaries.

Had an unfortunate experience here today.  Submitted an online order through Leafly, and received a text within the half-hour that my order was ready for pick-up.  Great! Got in the car for the not-so-short drive to Giving Tree.When I arrived and they called my name, the salesperson said, "We sold out of what you ordered HOURS ago. I hope you got our text that we don't have what you ordered ."  I showed her my phone  -- that I got no text from Giving Tree, only from Leafly, indicating my order was ready for pick-up.  Then she lookup my customer record in their system and said, "Oh, we don't have your cell number on file."  So, they couldn't have texted me.  She also could not explain why the Leafly system let me order something that was out of stock, let alone why I got a text that said my order was complete and ready for pickup.I suggest not patronizing this place unless you live very close and can afford to be out of medication if the same thing happens to you.

I placed an order online as that's what their website states is the preferred way during COVID. Approximately 10 minutes after I placed my order I received a confirmation text saying my order was successfully placed and to await a message to pickup. It is now one day later and after multiple attempts to contact the store they sent me one text saying " It was crazy busy yesterday so people who came in got priority". I never received any notifications, emails, calls or anything stating that my order was canceled but looking online the sale is cancelled out. Customer service is something that brings me back time and time again to the places I love supporting in my community. It's clear this place is not customer service oriented.

They accept debit and also have an atm on site. Staff is super nice and knowledgeable. Great prices.

This new location is awesome! Their staff is warm, friendly and knowledgeable. They keep it super clean in there and you can get in and out fairly quickly - just make sure you have your ID's ready. They make sure their displays were kept clean, and it's rare for me to hear they've run out of product. Even though this is a bit of a drive (almost 20mins) it's definitely worth it for the quality of product I get. Thanks!!

Some of the negative reviews of this dispensary are interesting. Yes, as of March 2021, they make you wear a mask. Can you believe the audacity of this business? Making people wear masks in the middle of a pandemic? Or maybe they're one of the few that actually enforces the policy, to which I say, good for them. I hear complaints about shoddy "flower" at pretty much every dispensary, which is why I stick with reputable edible brands and high quality pre-rolls that use grass not sourced by the dispensary itself - the six-pack Dutchie 0.5g joints being my absolute favorite.Anyway, I found the dispensary to be clean, well-stocked, and with friendly employees. Being a medical patient, I was directed to stand behind a customer that was checking out, essentially giving me a pass to cut the entire line. This was very awkward, and a lot of these dispensaries seem to be struggling to find an easy way to separate medical from recreational users/purchases.This location is a bit further out than my preferred spots, but if those places don't have my products, I'd gladly detour over here to pick up what I need. However, I would suggest they look into getting an electronic payment system that many other dispensaries are doing (Hyper or Alt-Thirty Six). I quit carrying cash over fifteen years ago.Minor gripes aside, I still think they're worth a visit.

This place is phenomenal!! They are SO friendly it's ridiculous!! They have built an awesome team which is very rare these days. From the moment you walk in they are so organized - you can tell they were thoughtful and methodical when creating this place. Oh and they open the door for you! Say what?! Shoot dates don't even do that these days!! I've only tried one product, but it was great! Highly recommend!!

This place is so nice & friendly. They have concierge people to help you pick the right items for you. So clean & organized!! Love it!! Also the prices are better here than other places...my go to shop!!

I have only been here twice so far and expect to keep that going . I have enjoy every visit . And the service has always been far above then what I have expected . Best experience then from other places. All staff is always so happy and very friendly with their patients. Definitely recommend coming here. Not just for the customer care/patient care but also for product. Everything I have purchased has been amazing and helps what it is needed for. I appreciate all their time for being their for us.

There has been a smooth transition into Loving this facility !! Since Marijuana has become legal this location has been an outstanding example of service to the community. Depending on your desire recreational or medical you will continuously find people who want to discover your needs from the ground up. They consistently take the time to hear you out and direct you to the product you need. Never have I ever felt like a number !!! Please take the time to enjoy your new found freedom through the needs. I have discovered the CBD product here has replaced a portion of my medical medication. !! Don’t give up on your journey to your needs being met !!! You will find your home..here !!!!!

Great place! Super chill environment! Beautiful and professional inside, with amazing budtenders that are knowledgeable and not pushy. Tiffany was super friendly, patient, and answered LOTS of questions. I didn't feel "shady" or gross like other places make me feel. Super legitimate here and I absolutely love their name and philosophy. 10/10 would visit again and would wait for Tiffany to help us since she was so great!
