Was sold a faulty vape pen battery. It didn't work at all after charging. Came in to try to exchange/refund and was told nothing could be done. This was my first time even trying to use marijuana cbd for my chronic back pain and after this experience I don't know about this place anymore. They pretty took my money. At least let me exchange it for something that works.

These guys are great! Go here.it's making me like a really long review to not have it be posted as a tip so this is just some filler text that is completely unnecessary but will hopefully add as a review.

The guy working the desk on 11/18/2020 was unprofessional. He Had me and two other people in the waiting room, well customers where exiting from the the shop. The guy was not noticing customers leaving and was talking to his buddy instead. The security had to come out and tell him to let three more people in. I think that's horrible service. And the weed you guys sell is a hit or miss don't think because you pay more it's better,  their weed smell musty over price taxe for each individual 8th so if you ask for a half they give you four jars and you get taxed for each individual. Shot I asked for a half it should come all together.

The tall chick with the curly hair and the tall guy who acts as the manager both have nasty attitudes. Be ware. Good bud though.

I am taken back by their customer service. I came here with my boyfriend to pick up some stuff. Yes I am not the one purchasing but they didn't have to be so rude to me; If they politely asked me to step outside, then I'd be glad too, but they were extremely rude about it. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I don't care how good of a product you may have! Looks isn't everything! Personality is! I WILL DEFINITELY GO AND TELL EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO COME HERE!

This medical shop is the worst I've ever been too, don't ever go there I spent 45$ on a top for a pen I never left the place and told me I can't expanded the pen top, never left nor was the box open but on their receipt on the bottom says you can do a exchanges but the manager said no it's only if it's damaged , the manager was being racist asf never even walked out the door and they said no like what. The weed is horrible there also and they didn't have mask on.

Great place loved the deals and the ftp card yess perfect place to get some bids on the high side

Don't go here just left this place guy at the front desk seems like he doesn't know how to maintain lines unsure about products and i had my 20% discount and still walked out LONG STORY SHORT DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS PLACE

I arrived at 9:55pm but the security turned the lights off on me and signaled it was closed even after an employee was buzzing me in. I was only going to make a quick buy. It was very inconvenient if your hours of operation are until 10:00pm I feel you should respect it. Instead put down you take last calls @ 9:50 and close at 9:55 . Pretty messed up

Dope ass staff!!! Marisa had the best customer service. HIGHLY recommend you pull up and show this shop some love. Oh, try that Dragon Mints!! It slaps you silly.

FYI customersIf you want to use your credit card, please get a pin from your bank card.. u cannot use it if no pinAnd there card swiping machine rarely works.. have gone a few times and u have to pull money from the atm machine.  Which there's a charge . Which benefits them regardless

Mostly on weedmaps they list the price taxes included. I usually bring cash in hand. Whenever I see a store have Blue dream I always try to snag it. I came here with it listed at $45. So I brought exactly that amount for what I thought was taxes included. Unfortunately taxes weren't included in the listed price. They asked if it was my first time, I stated no it was my second. Which was the truth. Anyway, i couldn't get my what I wanted and I was really looking forward to it. I left empty handed and disappointed. They lost a sale, and definitely a customer. Lame experience. Won't be coming back here.

Drove all the way out here on a Friday at 5:55PM with my boyfriend because we had both gotten texts stating there was a specific deal going on from 5-8P.....well apparently their text was a mistake and they didn't want to honor their own fuck up and acted like it was our problem. I'm sorry but anyone that lives in Long Beach knows that if you choose to loose your parking spot around this time it should really be worth it. The 'manager' that was on staff didn't really seem to care one bit that we drove out to this specific spot for a reason and said there was nothing he could do about it. G r e a t customer service skills buddy  Never come back to this spot. And to be honest I've been to this location before....the weed doesn't really check off the quality portion for me. Don't bother wasting your time or money on a shit spot like this.

Pretty great shop with some good prices. The energy the shop has keeps me coming. Some of the best Bud tenders AROUND!

There were so many dispensaries to choose from in the area but I'm so glad I ended up at this one. MMD checked me in quick and when I got to the back I was greeted right away with a super knowledgeable bud tender who helped me pick out a half gram oil that I really enjoyed and wish I could buy again if I wasn't already back home in Sacramento. I also wanted a pre roll and was pointed in the right direction on some Sour Diesel that was priced really cheap. I was happy she never tried to sell me on stuff that would leave me shaking my head at how much I spent. Being that it was my first time I was given a 20% discount which is amazing. This place is beautiful on the inside and really inviting on the outside. If I lived closer I would be there all the time. Thanks guys!

Ohhhhhhhh snapppppp MMD IN LONG BEACH?!?? Holly smokes!!! Best shop in Hollywood comes to the LBC!?!? . They never disappoint! Everything you can imagine. Amazing weed, concentrates, hundreds of vape pens, edibles and drinks, CBD. I can keep going and going. Man I'm happy!

Great service, came here multiple times not really knowing what to get for whatever occasion and was pointed to products recommended by the worker. Feels very welcoming and not judgmental on newer users!

I was passing through Long Beach and this place happened to be open today. I guess they just opened yesterday but I'm sooooo glad they did. They had everything I was looking for!! From vet cbd for my dog in my back seat freaking out to all my favorite prerolls cuz everyone knows I can't roll a joint to save my life! This is my go-to spot for all my cannabis needs! Selection, quality, price (especially relative to the area) is all there. Budtenders are helpful and they always have enough staff so you don't have to wait. Try this spot out!

False deceptive advertising, poor management. Waste of my time giving me the run around. Send me text messages with deals and then decide to not honor them upon arrival. Go to literally any other spot in long beach and they are much more receptive.

Great local Spot! My husband and I stopped by yesterday and were impressed with the service. They were very knowledgeable in the products and the prices were reasonable. Signed up for their rewards program. For so many points, they give you credit for $25. As opposed to other shops. Will shop there again.

I came here hoping I'd receive great customer service, which I did, AT FIRST. Then it went down the drain. I walked in and chose to buy one of their $8 joints, when I proceeded to pay with my debit card, I was told that it would include a $3.75 charge which I wasn't ok with but I knew they had no control over that. So I told them that I was going to get cash and come back to purchase the joint. When I showed up with the money, BEFORE they closed the shop, they refused to let me in. Honestly, that's rude and a bad way to conduct business. 1.) they closed the shop before the actual close time (even if it's 5 min before closing) 2.) After I said i'd come back, they still chose to not let me in. Way to retain customers.

Took them awhile to log me in into their system but nonetheless the service was good, the prices were ok, the flowers and other products are awesome!

There selling fake stiiizy cartridges..taste is horrible and color is way off  ...workers are rude ,after confronting them about selling fake stiiizys I asked to speak to a manager they got very rude and hung up the phone.... @ stiiizy  ....if you wanna go to a legit shop try going to Stone Age pharmacy on Long Beach blvd and wardlow, that's my go to dispensary idk why I would even try MMD they lost my business for sure never going back to MMD

Really really love this spot. The staff was incredible! They are super knowledgeable and helpful.  I had the pleasure of working with Ulises whom was an encyclopedia of canna knowledge. It was amazing getting all my questions answered with a smile. In a industry with so many kinda wild stores, MMD LBC is professional, clean, has amazing selection and will definitely be seeing more of me  Thanks!

Been coming here ever since I picked up Ember Valley. Shot is straight  I got almost all the strains they got that is a hybrid indica dominant. Can never go other places. Even with the staff that works there is chill and knowledgeable.

MMD long beach has great product, And great service. The staff are great.The only thing I didn't like is that Leigh was rude.  She wasn't nice, but other than that it's great. Jacquelyn end up helping me, she's is very sweet and helpful. Ask for Jacquelyn! I LOVE MMD LONG BEACH!

This shop is hella dope. Been coming here for a couple months and haven't had a bad experience. Everyone is super helpful. Lucky the bud tender is one of the employees who make it worth coming back. I'll be back soon

As a very well seasoned medical shopper wanting to try new local sports out for the first time, We decided to hit up MMD. For a first time patient and walking out without buying anything and infact throwing my first time patient discount card away in the trash was not what I was expecting when I saw this place and wanted to check it out. The receptionist was not professional. She was yelling through the microphone so loud at us like we couldn't comprehend what she was saying. Finally after waiting, we entered the shop and stood there waiting while 3 people counted their drawer in front of us  (who counts a money drawer in front of clients at a medical shop?) and another guy closing out a transaction. We decided to take a look around. Their display case was everything but appealing. No brand jars on display, just crappy little clear containers with a kindergarten style label next to it. Definitely not up to par with the surrounding shops. Their prices weren't even all that great compared to how basic this shop was. We came in to shop for ourselves and for our senior dog who is now having arthritis issues. The guy behind the counter who decided to help was very uneducated about the products he was selling. He was basically telling me that these 5mg cbd dog treats were better than select's 750mg cbd tincture. Then when I asked him why he thought they were better he said "my dog likes them". Not surprised by his answer considering he was so high he could barely hold himself up and was leaning hardcore on the counter to try to explain what he didn't know. But in all seriousness, select is a leading brand in the industry and was a higher sale... why would anyone choose 5mg over 750mg especially since there was no THC involved to compromise the ratio of active cbd. #1 your job is to sell medical marijuana in all forms. Know your product! #2 don't get so high that you can't even perform your job properly. We aren't chilling on a couch bruh! We are serious patients who drop a lot of money on great products if you can sell them. #3 I'm not looking for what tastes good to my dog. I'm looking to help her recover and ease her pain. You know, the whole reason why it's given the label as  "medical". This was by far one of the worst experiences I've had at a dispensary ever. Maybe they have good bud, but their business ethics sucks and well, I'm there to be sold on amazing products, not to school the people who should know the products and walk out with the feeling of disgust. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time. Long Beach has better places to offer with better deals and better tenders who are knowledgeable on their products.

my favorite club in Long Beach! since Covid they've incorporated delivery into their business model and it is definitely appreciated. Just got my delivery from Arden G and he's always super helpful, professional, and courteous. MMD's prices made me a customer but their staff and customer service always make me return!

I'm not too sure about their weed because I haven't tried it. But I tried to order from them for the first time last night. My order was for delivery. I placed my order at 7:40pm. the dispensary closes at either 9:30pm or 10pm. They told me they would let me know when my delivery driver was in route or near my location. 9pm, 9:10ish came around and I haven't heard a word from them. I decided to give them a call and check on my order. I was told that their delivery driver was too busy to deliver my order and since it's past 9pm they could no longer deliver my order so I would have to come pick it up or reschedule for next day delivery. This is very unprofessional. I ordered an order and a half before delivery services were over. I feel like everything should've been communicated to me instead of me blindly waiting on my order.

Just want to start off by saying the staff is dope and the weed is fire. Just the delivery service is kind of wack. I live about 11 min away from the shop but unfortunately they pick and choose their delivery orders and prioritize the closest... not based on what time you ordered. They are supposedly short handed of drivers but still isn't right to leave the ones hanging just because we're not closer. Don't provide the service to further locations if you can't organize it correctly is all I'm saying. I pulled myself from this store due to this. Found another in north side shop that delivered within 20 min.

Don't spend your money in a place where they are going to act like they have better things to do then service you .... Out of the 4 employees standing in the sales room with me the only one to greet me was the SECURITY GUARD .... this includes the manger that walked past me and a sales person that literally looked at me turned around and went the other way.  ... I WOULD HAVE ORDERED INSTEAD BY DELIVERY IS A JOKE I LIVE DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET AND THEY CANCEL MY ORDER 80% of the time. Overall HATE IT HERE ... Not even worth the convenience at this point....

So they are running a "holiday special" where you receive 50% off your second eighth or pre roll. I bought 2 eights one that was $60 and one that was $40. My total was $99 after this discount. When I called to ask the general manager AILEEN about it her response was "I'm looking at your receipt and you got 50% off idk what to tell you" I almost jumped through the phone. THE PURE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TRASH. She says you need to review your receipt which I don't have a copy of. I receive a text with a blurry copy and request for another. I find why I paid $99 and it was due to $17 in TAXES which could have easily been found and share but no she has a nasty attitude simply because I requested for clarification. Here's some advice: Thank you kindly. If you can relay to your supervisor the question at hand was if the discount was applied and the total was calculated prior to taxes or after taxes. The receipt clearly shows the total as $82.50 which was the simple amount I was asking for her to confirm. The total amount in taxes are $16.41 which is why my total was $99. The response "Idk what to tell you, you received 50% off" isn't helpful & is quite unprofessional. I appreciate your assistance & hope you can help other customer transcribe their receipt with a better approach. Treat others as you'd like to be treated it's very simple, Happy Holidays!

Ordered on Weed maps, took them nearly an hour to call me to ask me to create an account on their website and pay them directly through their site (which is an asinine process).. well, then don't offer ordering on WM you imbeciles. Your website is poorly coded, not user friendly and you don't contact customers timely. It'll be 4 hours from the time I ordered to the time I get my purchase delivered. Slow service, slow minded employees, sh*t show and to top it off slightly over priced. Not worth my time or money.

MMD has a good selection; great specials and deals and the staff is super helpful. Also, prices are reasonable. Unlike a lot of other dispensaries in the area, parking isn't terrible. Not a sketch part of town either The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I only wish they had a little more variety.

I definitely would not have purchased anything upon finding out I had to a least spend 80 bucks And, I wasn't even given credit for the damn referral! MAKE IT RIGHT

They rushed me.And had a nasty attitude. Always out of what I want to purchase. The security looks at you crazy too. It's in the ghetto and you will receive ghetto treatment. I was referred by my family member they signed up I did & I also brought a neighbor, all three of us will never return or refer anyone. PERIOD
