I really wanted to like this place because of it's close walking proximity but I just can't because of the horrible service I experienced. The budtender, guy with glasses, Hispanic last name (glanced at lanyard name badge) seemed irritated at the fact that I was asking questions and requesting to see the different types of flower. I'm a shopping customer... do your job?Their display is not impressive nor organized. I felt like the service was rushed and budtender did not have anything nice to say. His answers were pretty much short and cadaverous. Talk about a vibe-killer. I'd rather get in my car drive a couple miles down redondo ave to a friendlier, welcoming, questions encouraged, educated dispensary. Maybe I came by on a bad day? Nope. After reading other reviews it seems to be a common reoccurrence. I'd usually give places second chances but this experience was so off - I probably won't be back.I thought the closer to the beach, the better the vibes. But unfortunately, not in Connected dispensaries case.

Love this place!! Super clean, low key. People that work there are super nice and knowledgeable of the product. The have on site security that makes it feel safe.

Always get the best flower from here. Everyone who works here is so helpful and knowledgeable.  Deff recommend their pre rolls over other places, done the right way.

I used to really like this place, would tell all my friends about it, but now, not so much. I really only go here now because of convenience and the few great people that work there. Below are the reasons why I would not recommend this shop: 1. When they changed their reward point system I lost over $7 worth of points I had racked up there. Spoke to about 5 workers and two supervisors about it and NEVER got my points credited to my account. 2. Went in and pecifically asked for a 1/2 oz. at a certain price. Clerk did not listen and sold me 1/4 oz. at the same price as the half. When I noticed the error and informed them, because the purchase had been made even though I never left the shop, they could do NOTHING for me. The only way they would make the situation right was by having the clerk who messed up pay out of pocket for the 7 grams I was missing. That's some shit. 3. When I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor I was told repeatedly that they were too busy. I stayed in the shop for approx 20min and they made no effort to come out and speak with me at all. Last I checked this was a legit shop, I expect better customer service from a place charging $95 for 7 grams of weed.

Awesome customer service and great prices, tax is included which is nice. Great selection and always have in stock.

I was told that because my driver's license expired three days ago they would not be able to sell me? My birthday is April 27th. I am over 50 years old. The managers excuse was, "hey a friend of mine said he made an appointment". I said ok so maybe instead of hearing it third party maybe go to the DMV web page and check for yourself. That way you can at least make an informed decision. Apparently, that was too much for him to process all at once. I did have an appointment with the DMV last week. It was cancelled due to Covid19 Pandemic. The CA DMV offices as of today are not open and are Not taking appointments online. CA police will not pull you over for expired tags nor will they ticked you for an expired license during the Pandemic. All 50 states have temporally enacted these expectations. Ohh well on the way home I stopped at another shop. They have adjusted and sold me using critical thinking skills. FAKE PRODUCTS Please do not go here! I went this morning for the special and they straight up sold me fake Raw Garden Cartridges. after pointing out the identical UID numbers the manager claimed they order from Raw Garden but that didn't look right. Please don't buy from them, they carry fake products!!!!

Connected cannabis on second Street has a great location but I don't know if it's worth how rude the managers are there.  There's much better places, where you can spend you money and be treated like a customer.  I've been there a number of times and spent a fair amount of money but they don't care.  Location location location. Not if you're rude.

I come here often. Today I asked for 2 products and once I got home realized neither were what I asked for. I was given a stiiizy pod rather than a disposable and my prerolls were a completely different strain than I was promised. I needed a sativa and was told that's what I was getting. Low and behold I was given a strong indica. I tried to go back to swap out my unopened pod for an actual disposable vape and was greeted with "All I can do is sell you a new battery". So had to spend $20 to use the thing I didn't want in the first place. I'll be going to kings crew next time.

Fantastic shop! Friendly from the second you get there to when you leave. The bud tender was patient and super helpful. Huge variety and decent prices. They even had "Happy Hour" prices! I found good "wine" non alcoholic that is! Big variety of flower, pre-roll, drinks and edibles. Very good service so don't forget to tip!

Totally recommend to anyone who likes price gauging, dishonest staff, poor communication, and absolute lack of consistency.

This place gets too much hate, I haven't experienced any problems at all. I'd hate to lose this spot because of people's terrible reviews. They have a good selection and the sales they have are great. The staff is always cool and nice and Omar usually helps me out. I would highly recommend this place

I always try giving this spot one more chance because its 1 block away... and they blow it every time. If you are for incredibly over priced flower with a really crappy/inconsistent selection then this is your spot. They get their strains wrong all the time as well. Im a sativa guy and they hardly ever have any more than 3 sativas and thats pushin it. Today the bud tender as an excuse even told me "sativa doesnt really sell" I literally laughed at him and walked out. Wont be returning.

The worst customer service ever! They changed their return/exchange policy, and would not honor the policy at the time of my purchase. David acknowledged this but still didn't help me. I don't plan on ever spending a cent at Connected again. All sales are final now!

This place sucks, high prices and terrible service. They think they are doing you a favor selling you weed. WTF, ok me and my hard earned money never going to ever go there again...After seeing that their service is so terrible on this app, It just confirms it just wasn't someone having a bad day. Everyone sucks from security, to the window girl, to management. AVOID this DUMP!!!

I found this place on Weedmaps and know the area pretty well so decided to stop by. My cousin and I had been browsing new dispensaries. She is a cannabis user and recommended I try for my lower back issues and this place was local. She actually recommended I try another place in Wilmington but it was a farther drive so I came here.The location is prime, in the heart of Belmont Shore. The shop itself is nice and the receptionist and guard were both cordial as well as the people working in the back.My issue here was the pricing. I had called in advance about the brass knuckles cartridge and they said they had them, it's the reason I came here. They didn't have the gelato but I was offered an alternative, I got that and another flavor.Price was 52.50 per cartridge, I was a new user so I received a 20 percent off coupon. Great(or so I thought). My cousin told me most dispensaries offer new customers a gift or points system to keep you as a customer. I got none of that here. The 2 cartridges were $105.00, minus 20 percent off, it should have been $80.00 plus tax..well, it wasn't, they tacked on 2 separate charges, one for 22.00(long beach city tax), 9 dollars state tax bringing my total to 112.00. There were no savings whatsoever..I guess I feel shortchanged but the product itself is good. So, mulling things over, I didn't get 20 percent off first purchase..thought I'd share that but aside that, everything else went okay. I'll continue shopping for a new dispensary, it's a competitive business and that being said, first impressions make a huge difference in keeping people as repeat customers.

They have a good selection but not that informative on their products. I asked about potency and was told it's all just the same. Ahhh, no it's not all the same. Well we tried to get in with our new rec but they would not let us in because they said it wasn't showing up as a valid doctor rec. ok I have 3 years in advance the first year just expired and they have the old one on file. So even with that they weren't letting us in even for recreational. One Love  had absolutely no problem.  I won't be back so they can delete it anyway. Good luck and fix your problems. You have potential.

Yes. This place is clean. And plenty of options. They always have what I'm looking for in stock. I've been to 4 other locations this week and they were limited. Friendly staff. I told Maleena what I wanted and she got it for me. Of course she offered friendly advice which is only helpful. California.... what can I say? I wish other states legalized marijuana. It only makes sense.

The worst dispensary I have ever been to and I have been to many over the years...Any other dispensary or delivery service is better than this one. This is not the future of weed! Try others! You are paying top dollar and getting disrespected by the staff if this is where you get your weed.

I love coming here, the staff are always amazing and smiling and they always have Heavy Hitters in stock which is awesome.

The Stizzy pod I bought like an hour ago was clogged. Probably old or not stored properly. Do yourself a favor and don't trust the cartridges here. Big disappointment. Next time i'll stick to the flower.

This is our place to go for top shelf fresh flower..in past I had old harvest and its unprofessional from them but since I ask to look the harvest date on pre packed flower no failure so far have enjoy most of the flowers and I don't vape. Prices are fair !!

Went here to get some CBD products and will never go back, they charge way too much for everything and to make it even more expensive, the sales tax rate is 33% which I don't care who gets what percentage of it, it's way too much!

I was excited when this place first opened Because of its location, but quickly tired of the poor service and rude attitude when asking questions about cannabis. I come from, and was educated on cannabis, in Oakland where people are very friendly and open about your medication. But the staff here are rude and condescending when asking simple basic questions about cannabis, every single time I have been in, and therefore they receive one star. I hadn't left a review before, as I just stoped going, but today I was in the neighborhood and in a pinch so I stopped by only to receive the exact same rude service when asking for a simple gram. Go to one love on Broadway... They are far better with the customer service and knowledge than this place will Ever be. - disappointed Oakland transplant. P.S. it does get one star because the security guard and front of house person are always nice and friendly.

It was my first time going here, I chose it because I live just a few blocks away. I went in to get someCBD only gummies for pain and anxiety from a recent surgery. Sam was the bud tender behind the counter and he was very nice and super knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions in a friendly and Matter-of-fact way! He did try to keep pushing THC and Oils, but when he I told him I will probably try it next time he was super respectful and I got in and out very quickly with what I needed. Thanks for the help Sam

Rip-offExtremely expensive and dis-loyal to customers.Last week, a $60 gram of sauce is now displayed $108 because they say they are including the Tax price now, which they mention is 35%.I find it insulting to test your customers with terrible math. Since when is 35% of $60 equal $48 ? So I have to add $48 out of the blue because they want to fill their pockets more?This is terrible practice and, in most cases, considered fraud. Never returning.

What a location! I came to Long Beach to relax at the beach and ended up at connected. I wanted a vape cartridge and they seemed to have a few to choose from. My budtender helped me pick out a Heavy Hitters vape and holy moly ravioli, I am beyond happy! Taste great, hits great and my anxiety was gone! Thank you!! They also have tons of flower and the branding so beautiful!! The shop itself is beautiful too, the interior is beautifully decorated! The receptionists and staff are always so friendly! I love when Megan helps me because she's always so sunny and nice! I can't wait to come back and visit!! Thank you so much for such an amazing experience! I will be back in soon!

There are orher stores in town and more are opening. Go somewhere else for your buds. This place thinks it's the only game in town. The girl who paints her eyes like a cat clearly has never worked with people, or she's drunk on the little bit of power she has over people at this place. I was banned the last time I was there because I asked to not have to take the plastic bag I would throw away outside. She said she'd ban me if I didn't carry their weed outside in the thick plastic bag, so I carried my product out to the street in the bag where I inserted the plastic bag that I had used in the door, so it could be reused, and I wouldn't be wasting plastic. I went in a moment ago, and she informed me I was banned because I took the product out in the store, which I didn't. I followed her directions, and I tried to save our environment, but she claimed she saw me do it, which she didn't. Until they learn how to serve their customers, I would suggest going anywhere else. They're extremely expensive because of their location anyway. I have much meaner things that I'd like to say, but I always go out of my way to treat people kindly. I even treated the self-righteous cat eye girl kindly. They do not return that sentiment.

Don't waste your time here they have terrible customer service. After I purchased two stiiizy pods here cause they finally have the price where it should be, one of them tasted hella burnt and I called to kindly ask if they will just change it out not even refund they said they don't.. sorry I'll take my business to roote215 where they price is the same and they bring to your door and they swipe out defective pods. Also note to management who wants to reply to this keep in mind I can't say nothing back to that so it's a bitch move really. Just take this TRUE BAD REVIEW like a man. Next time remember other shops are same price, deliver, and exchange for defective pods.

This is a very attractive store in a nice location. Parking can be difficult, but it's not impossible. This is a medical cannabis location, so you need to bring a doctor's recommendation. It's a cash-only business.Prices are higher than what's typical, but that's also the norm for businesses on 2nd Street.Your best bet is to know what you want in advance so you can do a quick in and out. Check Weedmaps to look at the store's inventory before you shop. That's usually pretty accurate - sometimes more accurate than the store's staff (who act like they know what's in stock, but are frequently clueless).The staff are a bit pushy and will steer you into products that are more expensive. I'm assuming they get paid a better spiff/bonus/comission for pushing certain brands. They've done this to me and I've seen them do it to other customers. They will not tell you about deals on products they don't want to sell you - the sales staff push what's best for themselves. Finding out after the fact sucks.I've experienced the staff lying to me about their personal experience with a product. I was looking at something and asked a question. Salesperson said it's a great product. Six weeks later the same salesperson casually tells me they just tried that product for the first time. If you ask them a direct question that they don't want to discuss, they'll respond with an answer to a different question (than the one you asked). Used car salespeople and politicians do the same trick - they call it "bypassing." It's not how honest people behave.Bottom line - don't trust the staff to tell you the truth about anything. It's like they hire people too dishonest to work for Frys Electronics. Know what you want before you enter this store.I really wanted this store to be great. I'm disappointed to be writing such a bad review. But I won't be shopping here again. Wilmington and San Pedro are a little seedier than Belmont Shore, but the bud tenders are straight with you and know what they're talking about. They'll even answer a question by saying, "I don't know," instead of trying to feed you a line of bs (what a concept).

I'm a pure newbie to all this and was very intimidated by my first visit. Frank was my 'budtender' and made me so comfortable. He listened to what I was wanted, answered all my (stupid), questions without me feeling awkward. Great experience all around. Thank you Frank, you're a gem!

DAVID was thee most helpful and knowledgeable budtender! He definitely made my experience there an unforgettable one. He's also a cutie so keep your eyes out for him ladies. The whole staff is super friendly tho and they have quite an extensive selection of some dank designer weed. Lol, you guys gotta check them out!!!

Came here on a friend 's referral after work on a Friday evening, since I first walked in the people in the front were very friendly and guided me through the process with a smile. When I got into the back room everything were very organized and clean. The gentleman that helped me were super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable in the product. Got what I wanted and I was in and out of there in like less then 15 min. Highly recommend this place. Great job!

Friendly staff great products and the prices are ok.. they're a bit cheaper than other places by have tax so it evens out. Only downside is their limited supply of disposables. And I think I finished them all and they ran out so when I ordered online it said they had it so I drove there and they said it was sold out. (Even tho the text DID say my product order was received, being prepared, and ready for pick up- 3 individual texts)

Been going there since they opened. My rec expired and I brought it in to update my info and purchase. Receptionist wouldn't let me in bc she couldn't verify the dr. The same dr did my other one, all the same info just a year different. Fine. Don't you think she would have let me in bc I still have a driver's license????? She just refused to take the rec ( go to One Love the service and the prices are better) and didn't let me in. I'm done.  Plenty of alternatives now in LB.

First time in Long Beach and saw this place was near where I was staying. Got a little lost but was able to make it. The staff greeting me with a smile when I walked in and asked how I was doing, which was really nice. Inside, it was filled with people, and my person was quite helpful, asking what I was going to do and provided me with lots of options. I went to another place down the street but didn't like the vibe so I think I will be back here.

Love the selection and knowledge of the staff -- particularly Dabstiny who answered all my questions and helped me figure out the best strands and flavors for my specific needs. Would "highly" recommend!

Highly recommended store. They have a fantastic and well educated staff that keeps my family going back. I love that they specialize in higher-end products which makes the shopping experience much easier, alongside the staff having great experience with their vast scope of products.

Sold me flower (Empire's Grape Cookies) that wouldn't even burn. Totally sucks. While I get that they couldn't refund me, customer service should be way better. We are a small community and word spreads fast.

I started coming to this dispensary after a friend suggested it (did One Love before). Usually the budtenders are on point with their advice, efficiency, and friendliness. Today I ordered a 1g cartridge from Weedmaps. Turns out the price was wrong. I'm not sure if it's a Weedmaps error or an input error by Connected but needless to say they would not honor the price on the Weedmaps receipt or the online menu. Even though it's a dispensary I'd assume customer service matters, and that's pretty messed up that there wasn't even an attempt at a resolution. The only reason I came today to get it was because I figured these cartridges were on sale or being discontinued due to the price. Anyway, 2/5 stars because normally this place was a 5, but I won't be going back. Too many dispensaries around these days for a place to not honor what is clearly a mistake. Even if they couldn't do a 23$ adjustment, they could've offered some cheap prerolls or edibles that they probably get as promotional product anyway.

Great dispensary. The products are amaxing and you can find smth in every price range. The staff is super friendly and attentive, especially sam and angie. Definitely recommend!

Was going here weekly since I moved to Long Beach over a year ago.  Went int last week, and apparently me and 5 other people in line all had drivers license that were fake , good enough for the government but not for them here) . Manager said these were fake and only Long Beach pd could give them back.  So they held onto all 5 of our drivers license until police came, Waited 45 mins for Lbpd to come, pd checked them and everything was fine and gave them back with no issue. Best part is that they hire RUDE ass kids as their security guards that feel that can talk sh*t to customers because they have a gun.  If you want a legitimate legal cannabis experience, please go anywhere but here.

I was pleased to discover that this place had opened only a few blocks from my house. The service is professional & friendly, the selection outstanding. They are knowledgeable as to which things might help a given condition.All in all a great addition to the neighborhood.Cash only; there's an ATM in the lobby but better to get cash back from Rite Aid across the street 'cos no fees there,

Our budtender David was very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. My first time experience at the Belmont Shore location has probably been the best out of all the locations I’ve been to so far. Thank you David for your customer service! Will be back again.

I love this place, the service, and the way that everyone and everything is not only Professional and clean, they're just nice people. Everytime I go there, no matter who I encounter, it's always the same experience and I love giving Catalyst my well earned business. If you get a chance, say hi to Dave the bud tender. He's the only one I know by name. It doesn't matter which bud tender helps you, they all give great service to any customer. Dave has helped me out more than once and it's usually when I'm in a hurry and I start barking my order. Dave gets it. I ask for his thoughts, make my own choices, he rings me up, I ALWAYS leave money in the tip jar, and I'm out the door. It's that quick, that efficient, and that well run. I absolutely love Catalyst. They earned my business the first time I walked in the door. They earn my repeat business because I go back and they know that. Now they've earned a review. You don't have to take my word for it, just go there and spend some money. They'll do the rest and you will be back over and over again. Catalyst "gets it" and I won't spend my Cannabis dollar anywhere else in LB. I know a good deal when I see one and this place is THE REAL DEAL

I usually love this place I’m really sad. I don’t know if it was just a bad day or what but the customer service I got was lackluster. I asked for a fruity tasting smoke product which is pretty easy and usually the employees there have knowledge so they can find me a product that I like. Not this time… I got recommended a product that was gross at best. Wasted 60$ or more on a product that i won’t use. Very disappointed. It’s only three stars because it’s so rarely happens this place is usually great Just not this time.
