Awesome place, good selection, and friendly staff! We will definitely be coming back here! Great find in  Tacoma. Kenny put a buffet of awesomeness together for us.

Always the most knowledeable and reasonable.  I like that you can see what you are buying, and often get a knowlegeable budtender that can compare strains and experience.  Of course, the experience can differ Slightly, but usually, perfect ! The staff is upbeat and glad to be at work.  I find that management in some places can kill the morale of the staff, and that doesnt sit well with me.This is my go-to place.

Everytime I come everyone is really chill and very helpful! Tonight I was helped by Hailey and she was super helpful. The prices are always really great too!

Decent prices overall, although they aren't always in sync with what's advertised on their website. For example on Christmass eve they advertised 20% off on edibles, but that wasn't the case in the store. It was supposed to be for after-christmass sale only. Oh well, it is still a cheap shop to buy dry buds if you are a smoker. I've noticed they don't carry Goodship cookies anymore. They were better quality than Journeyman Snickerdoodle that are dry and crumble easily while cutting open the extra-tough package. Centrally located, it will be a convenient place to visit after the current round of freeway reconstruction is complete, for a couple of years until the next round. (WSDOT moved that retaining wall south 3 times in the last 10 years)

I'm not normally a fan of Tacoma. There are too many blighted (which is subjective based on the culture into which you find yourself immersed) areas, the crime rate is ridiculous (if you've ever watched "Cops" you know that at least 40% of the episodes are filmed live on location in Pierce County), and it smells funny (and not dank funny). On the other hand, I find myself newly impoverished (which is also subjective based on the culture into which you find yourself immersed) and all of the MMJ dispensaries in Seattle just shuttered overnight (due to some shady governmental bullshit, grumble, hiss, grumble). So, there I was in Tacoma, checking out the MMJ dispensaries to find a new provider when I saw a sign for "World of Weed". Now, that sounds like a fun theme park. Besides, it never hurts to compare costs between the dispensaries and the recreational shops. Nicole (the budtender) was just lovely. She was informative and patient while I asked my dumbass questions. She didn't even roll her eyes when the ultimate purchase was $10. She graciously treated me and my Compadre like we were just as important as someone dropping $1000. Yep. You will pay more here than at a medical dispensary. But, you don't need a medical endorsement in order to enter "World of Weed". All you need is an identification that declares you over the age of 21 and cold hard cash (cash only). There is an ATM on site should you forget to bring money. And, frankly, the prices are reasonable. You can get prerolls for $5. Can't do that in Seattle. They give away pipes to new customers. They have a rewards punch card. The variety of goods available is plentiful and there's even a clearance section (I shit you not). The shop itself is well lit and welcoming. And it smells pretty good. So, as far as recreational shops go, this one is pretty awesome. Especially since nobody laughed at me for not knowing what the fuck "shatter" meant.

Loved this place. Great products, seemed reasonably priced, and excellent staff. Will hit it up every time I'm in Tacoma.

My favorite kush store in all of WA STATE FORREAL! I literally have searched so many stores in the sea tac area and for the quality and prices, they have the best sales!! Also Tay is AWESOME!!! She is so helpful and friendly! But shop here FR!!

World of Weed is my go to pot stop! Everyone is always nice, and very educated on the product they're selling. And I have yet for a budtender to steer me wrong when choosing new strains and brands to try. Special shout out to Jacob! He is always so pleasant and welcoming when I come in, definitely knows his stuff, and is overall a really helpful guy in determining which strains are going to be best for my needs that day. I would highly (no pun intended) recommend going to World of Weed and congrats to you if you're lucky enough to have Jacob help you with your weed needs!

Wows been my go to since I can remember. Awesome staff! Gorilla glue is what I'm always buying but when you guys gonna bring back the Bruce Banner?!!! Lol that stuff was It!

First and foremost beautiful store. Today i stopped by and mia hooked it up with some dank milkbone on sale today. Also copped some pre rolls which im not a fan of but she promised blue roots would deliver and they did exactly that. Great smile and funny as heck. I enjoyed my visit i will be back..thanks

Awesome, AWESOME customer service! This is one of favorite places go to places for my needs. The budtenders are knowledgeable and friendly, and the store has a plethora of goods. You are doing yourself a disservice if you don't make a pilgrimage here!!!!!!

Went here with my boyfriend and we typically take our time deciding what to purchase. I always have a lot of questions about the different strains, quality, etc. At other shops, I feel rushed, and the staff maks me feel stupid or like I'm taking too long. This was not the case on our 12/7 visit. Jared helped us and was extremely thorough, kind, informative, and patient. Not to mention he was a good salesman. Even when a slight line began to form, he did not rush us. It was a great interaction and I will most definitely be back! Thanks Jared!

This is the ONLY place I go for purchasing anything cannabis related.  They have an awesome frequent flyer program where it's easy to earn discounts, frequently have great sales on popular items, and the staff aren't just everyday people, they're all extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about all aspects of marijuana.  Kenny is the name of the guy that helped me most recently, and I was blown away be the level of service.  There's a reason that this place is well known for being the best around.

Great selection, fair prices, lots of sale items. DEN was very helpful Shonda and all the rest went out of their way to be polite and informative. Made our visit to Washington a little bit cooler :)

I'm not even into weed, but we are lucky enough that it is legal in WA and there are experts who know their product (especially for people like me who know nothing). This store is in a hectic area of Tacoma; we arrived to 8 security guards in the parking lot and a camp of homeless folks on the sidewalk directly across the street. Lots to see!  Security is even available to walk you to your car after your purchase, if you like...weed is serious business in WA. Inside we found more security and expert budtenders, with your choice of products and really professional and friendly staff.Don't be caught unaware like me, and note that they don't take credit cards! Overall going here was a good experience, and I would check this place out again.

I love this shop. Everyone is friendly, but that might be because this is Washington and not Cali. Still; Sam, Tammy, and Hailey helped me out and all of them were very lovely bud tenders. They were both knowledgeable and helpful with making my decisions. Now let's get to the products: flower is dank and I'm still getting used to the prepackaged flower; wax is amazing, wide variety (I've tried the Blue Roots and the Regulator); edibles currently waiting to try those (I bought the Doozies sour cherry). They also have a great selection of glass, definitely a spot to check out when you're in town.

Great vibe at this place, never feel pressured to decide quickly, all the staff is super friendly. We very much appreciate that they allow dogs!! We had Lauren as our bud tender today and she was so sweet and engaging. We are excited to try her recommendation. This is our new spot for sure.

I've never been to a pot shop before but my mom insisted we swing by before her flight home (she's getting into making edibles). The entire staff is so nice and patient. I ended up getting bacon flavored CBD for my dog. She hated the CBD I got her online and you can tell the quality was way different between the two. I will definitely be going back in the future. Loved the parking lot and the store was super cute inside!!

Went there for years, spent thousands. Then showed up at 1140 one night, only to be aggressively told "last call, we're closed. Then have some big dude block the doorway in a threatening manner, so I couldn't even look in at the cashiers who know me by name. I used to drive past a different place to go here, and was treated like dirt by the independent contractor  masquerading as security guards, but acting like club bouncers. I was. A loyal customer, and to turn me away 10 minutes before closing, when I'm literally a daily customer is beyond rude and disrespectful. I go to control anxiety, and when they did that at 1140, it left me no time to even go elsewhere. If you can't do business with the community, and act like people, you don't deserve my business, sad to go, the tenders are usually cool, but ownership and the bouncers are not worth giving money to. Your customers keep you in business, just because business is booming today, don't mean it always will be.

I have been coming in to WOW for several years. Service is consistently great, the staff friendly and eager to assist. My favorite bud tender is Tamia. She's so sweet and personable. She's like a ray of sunshine. I hope she is recognized for the great work she does.

Weed is over-priced, potency % not visibly displayed, clerks hover and get pissy when you ask them not to shadow you, the single budtender per customer system is a drag, makes you feel rushed and ghetto if you don't have a large wad of cash to spend and like to take your time and try to fund  good balance between quality and price, when you're a heavy smoker like I am paying $18 a gram and $55 an eighth is for the birdsOverall NOT impressed in the least, will remener to buy my weed at 420 Carpenter in Lacey before I head outta town again

Yea, this is awkward because every time I come in here I feel like I want to kiss and hug every one for being so professionally polite. Love their deals that are daily on display left hand corner. Just like Washington if you jet on down through Portland (st) you can run on into a little fine example of Washington pride. Variety is off the chain. I Would just likely recommend letting the bud tenders tell you what to do if you're feeling over whelmed after glancing around awhile. Short and sweet review here for a high 5 star

Best weed shop between Seattle and Olympia. I had the good fortune to be helped by Nix the bud tender who welcomed questions and never made me feel rushed or creepy. In lots of shops I feel pressure to know what I'm getting when I get to the counter and I rarely do. Nix welcomed questions and provided me with solid answers in a comfy environment.Thanks team WOW!

How DARE a store treat customers like we are nothing more than a dollar sign.Don't bother. I certainly won't - my health is far too precious to be abused by people and businesses who have no care for others AT ALL.Take your chemically destroyed products and please go out of business.

This place is Awesome!  They have a big selection and great prices!All of their people are extremely helpful, friendly, and easy going.  Take your time, ask questions, change your mind, they don't care 'cause they just want to help.  Not only that but everyone is really knowledgable and can recommend just what you need.  A lot of the time they even have specials and discounts.Love it!!!

This is extremely frustrating. I've been going here long enough to know that they close at 12 am. And if you look it up on their website it says they close at 12 am. They need to change their hours to close at 11:30. I just arrived at 11:40 and the guy at the door told me that they already had last call and their manager told him not to take anymore customers. Wtf is that?

I used to come in here a lot but recently they decided they need to fragrance the store with artificial fragrance, strong enough that you can smell it from a block away. When I asked them why they're doing it they said that it's to get rid of the smell of Tacoma aroma. That's the lamest excuse I've ever heard.

During my last visit on Saturday, I had a not so great experience with a sales associate. After contacting World of Weed, I received an email and a follow up call from the owner, who took the matter very seriously. This is such a pleasant surprise and helped to change my negative experience into a great one. Despite the fact that I was nonplussed by the interaction in the store, I could tell that the owner wants to ensure that everyone has the best experience possible at the location. The situation has been remedied and I'm happy to share this place as a reference to anyone in the south end.

Went to WOW for the first time and was totally excited...UNTIL...I asked about a discount they offered and if I was eligible in which I was told I was indeed eligible, made my purchase and happily walked to my car. I glanced at my receipt and noticed the discount had not been applied. Mind you I had not made it more than 5 steps before I turned around and went right back in to the shop to get my receipt adjusted in which I was refused the adjustment. I was denied based on the fact I walked out the door. That is the dumbest excuse I've ever heard and just as insulting. The amount of the discount doesn't even matter...but don't offer something if you're not going to hold true to it...shame on you!

This is s great place to buy weed.  The only one I will go to anymore.  The budtenders are super knowledgable and don't mind helping you and answering any questions you have.  I have never had a bad experience here.

This place always has what I'm looking for spectacular deals great prices on pieces. The staff is really friendly. And it smells really good! The product quality and selection puts this place on par with Uncle Ike's. The prices give it a run for its money! I am a very happy repeat customer. The sales representatives really know their stuff and they always make great recommendations. This is definitely my go-to store whenever I'm in Tacoma, and I always make sure to recommend it to my friends whenever they're in the area, too.

By far the best place in Tacoma to pick up some after work remedies! Kayla helped me pick out the perfect strain to cater to my needs! And it was the best price in town too! Gotta love it!!!

I moved here from California and legalized marijuana is new. I first hate that you can not first smell what you're getting, smell is everything to me.  Well anyway I rely on what the clerks tell me since I don't really know what I'm getting.  I'm learning more about the labels and thc etc, but in the meantime I don't want to throw money away.  Well I bought $99 worth of coffee maze, and I felt totally violated.  I felt no dispensary should be selling something like that as marijuana.  Will never return. If they are the last standing I will Quit.

ok, soooo I gave a previous 5 star review on here, because it got me a free glass smoking bowl. (they buy 5 star reviews).After shopping here for a few months, I would like to show the fine folks of a pattern at this store. on more than one occasion I have weighed the product due to it looking suspiciously light. The 1st time it happened was with a product from Binx Buds. The container I bought was supposed to be 3.5 grams but when weighed, it was only 1.8 grams. Roughly 50% light. I called their Mgr on duty and he wrote my name down on their  "list", and I would get 20% off on my next purchase.I argued the % discount I was OWED, but he said that's all they could do. That was a month or so ago.I went in and got a product I really liked called Grape Ape from Artizan because I trusted the weight from multiple weigh ins on that product and it was fine, though I still wasn't happy about the 20% vs 50% shortage of Binx Buds product.I kept going there to buy the grape ape and occasionally try new things. last week I tried a product from Blue Roots called Skywalker and because it looked light. I weighed it when I got home. it weighed 2.1g and should have been 3.5g. I immediately called Jared the Mgr and explained the 40% shortage and was again offered only a 20% discount on my next purchase. I asked why they don't "spot check" what they buy so that they trust their vendors and NOT screw their customers,  and they tell me that this is illegal because they arent allowed to open the product. I countered him with ok, here's the empty jar from Blue Roots, weigh another one versus one of your freshly sealed ones and he refused and got pissed. They have something to hide! They know they are shorting you on your purchases!!! The manager even confirmed that they keep a "get right list" in the office for when people complain of this. I will spend my 400 per month or so somewhere else now.

I'm really confused by all the bad reviews for this place. Maybe they have recently restaffed, but everyone was friendly. They post their sale of the day too. Today it was two grams of oil for $30 (snagged that!)

Very knowledgeable staff. Friendly and efficient. I hadn't been to a dispensary before and wasn't disappointed or felt uncomfortable in any way.  I recommend the Supermax OG if they have it in stock. Great prices. Definitely the spot to go to in Tacoma.

this was my first time to this store and i had a great experience. Nix was very friendly and approachable as well as being very knowledgeable and helpful. i told him that it was my first time in and so he explained the layout, products, and what i might expect from different types of things. i even got a glass pipe a bit cheaper if i gave a review. there was no pressure to only give a good one but i am because of my experience. i will definitely be going back if i want anything else. Me and my friend went to this place this place look pretty awesome very secure my only  concern was  of is that they don't have a bank card machine and you have to use an ATM. Very very cheaper than the one in Des Moines and it's right off the freeway

Go here all the time, got recommended to try the Delta dab. It's disgusting! It's flavored oil... The employee, (a woman with glasses and short brown hair) asked about it because I bought it yesterday from her & I told her it tasted gross and was like vape juice. She didn't respond so I told her what kinds I got & AND SHE SAID, "Sucks to be you." Da fu*k? I've never had a bad experience here before. I spend almost $200 a week here and tip $20 every time and that's the service I get? If I come back, I will wait for the next person before buying anything from her again.

World of Weed is dooope! My budtender, Adam, was super helpful and very knowledgeable about all the strains. He helped me pick a few strains based on the effects I wanted, and the prices were great!

People are SUPER nice and friendly and helpful.  Prices are decent, went up a little recently (+$5/3.5g of 22%).  Hours are the best - open till 11:50pm, and I get off work at 11 so this is on the way home, and I can usually make it before they close, even if I give my co-worker a ride.  BIG plus.

I just visited for my first time today. Being a cancer survivor I have plenty of experience with marijuana. The staff that assisted me was nice but once I got home and opened my product I immediately noticed it was stale. After further investigation I noticed a harvest date on the package from October of 2016! I called and was told by the manager that it was normal and I can't bring it back or get a refund. I asked the sales girl what the difference was between products and a 7 month old shelf life or harvest dates were never mentioned.

I came in here a week ago and got some amazing bud due to the great knowledge that Ben offered. Thank you

1st time coming here have to say the staff was real nice and worked with ya when had a ?  Got there little before the closed for the night but they still took the time to help you figure out what it is your wanting and not just push you out like lot of stores would do. Only problem I have is once got back to our room the wife seen we was charged for stuff we did not get. I work to had to just give my money away for free. I would give 4-5 stars if wasn't for being charged for stuff and not receive it. That being said I'm giving the lower rating that I am. If somehow this gets made right I will come back and change my rating

I love this place. I never feel judged when I walk in, and I'm always greeted when there is a sales person open. I go here often just because the girls that work there always ask about my day and how I'm doing.

Ben was great! He kept the line moving, answered all my questions, I never felt hurried. The whole staff seems excellent and in great spirits, as well as being informative about their products. Clean store, and get more Baylien and Locktite, tired of waiting :)

I am generally not a weed fan. But ive been to world of weed several times. Largely cause they have just amazing people who work there!! I mean they are just fantastic. No pressure, never make you feel foolish, very patient. I find it kinda stunning that everyone who works there is so nice. But they are!

The place is clean and the staff is helpful and answered all the questions I had. Their products are good too! I'm not really familiar with the prices at recreational shops so I can't comment on that. I wish they had my options for edibles but not a big deal, won't keep me from returning.

I've been in a few times. I've had a good experience with one bud tender there. Every other employee that I've interacted with seems to be more concerned with texting than helping customers. I can't say I've seen that happen at the frequency that I have at this dispensary. There are better options out there...

Holla at them guys! They are official! No bs at all! Everything I ordered was top shelf. loved each item. I stopped by a couple of weeks ago and was in heaven. I found them on utube! There was Great communication with gentleman over the phone giving me directions & I loved the way they took the time out to just deal with me. I'm new to the area so that was a huge thumbs up for me. Will be returning.

Finally had it with W.O.W. seriously hope you guys get fined by the state for your false advertisements online. I understand you can control what's prepackaged, but you can honestly advertise. I won't ever spend another dime here. I'm glad I go the green collar and bloom cannabis regularly. Next time I make the drive cause apparently $5 dollars in gas is well worth the purchase of good quality cannabis advertised honestly. GREEN COLLAR EVEN PRICE MATCHES SAME STRAINS. JUST BRING PROOF....

Was walking in store tonight and before I even hit the door the security guy stops me and asked me to pick up and put my cigarette In trash that I dropped on way In.I really wanted the American cola on sale... in and out in less than a minute because I mobile ordered.I am thinking about this shit that a security guard was watching a customers come in and running to tell them to pick up their cigaretteIf there was a do over I would have picked up and left however guarantee they will lose every person they do this toGood place til tonightI'll find a place that will just pick up the butts and let me get my shit wo being bothered by a security guard whose job probably got the responsibility of sweeping the parking lot

If I could get a negative -100 due to poor service I would. My son fell in front of their store walking out and they did nothing behind it. His glass shattered and the supposed manager Harry said there was nothing he could do about it and told him he was on his own and had to call the manager Emily tomorrow. I called and his condescending attitude is a disgrace. At the end of the day we can sue for him falling at their store. The least you can do is help the man up and replace what had broke but now he went too far with him laughing on the phone then hanging up on me.

Service was really chill and helpful, my fiancé got a preroll from here and I got some edibles. the prerolls were great and pretty much as expected. the edibles however had a missing candy. I purchased the sinner & saints green apple hard candy and only had 9 pieces in a pack of 10 . one of the wrappers came empty yet sealed with air still inside, I didn't call the store back though or anything because i didn't want to bother because obviously some kind of packaging issue on sinner&saints brand behalf. the candies IMO weren't that heavy, my fiancé felt them a bit better than me and his tolerance is lower too. overall i still did feel comfortable with the service and staff which I personally think is what is also as important if not more

I am sure they have good products and decent price but customer service was so bad that I walked off and went to another store 10min.It's a really nice shop,unfortunately you get meet by a guy who apparently doesn't know how to speak with people not saying about customer service.In my experience all shops usually have friendly stuff with good atitude and vibe,well this is not that place.Make yourself a favor and spend your money somewhere else where they treat with respect.

Emily is by far the most knowledgeable budtender I have ever talked to.  She always delivers excellent customer service to me and other's in line. Other Budtenders Harry, Evan and plus Ernesto are great as well. I appreciate you all. Nice place, friendly. My girlfriend and I were impressed with the selection. The bud tender was happy to assist, offerring to let us look at anything we wanted. Best part - the prices! Seriously great deals and specials.

Super friendly, super helpful budtenders,great products and reasonably priced to very cheap but very well made glass. The parking kinda sucks but the atmosphere inside puts out good vibes. Definitely would recommend.
