Honestly, I have tried all types of good from all different places so I am always looking for the really good stuff. Emerald has some really good sativa. I happen to be in there I guess the same day as the owner and he was mad cool. He showed me around and recognized that I knew my stuff so he kept it real with me and pointed me in the right direction of what i needed. I tried something called Barry White...no lie...its the ishh. They might be strict on ids a little bit, but that's no different than going out for a drink. I think its a great spot, pretty good prices, and great products.

The budget store. Quality may be hit or miss but you won't get a better deal. I would give this place a fifth star if steps were taken to keep away the sketchy, methy citizens who loiter in this neighborhood.

This might be one of those Mary spots that everybody talk about going to on the block but only out of novelty and convenience. Their real competition on the ave is just down the block at Mary Mart, a recently renovated club that's  still catching up. Overall I was not impressed with the lackadaisical vibes at first. Seemed a little to pretentious for my taste despite dealer pricing and quality. I was able to pick up a few grams here and there from some friendly folks but I can comfortably say they are a great place to stop in while you're trying out everywhere else too.

Love this location. Well organized, efficient, and great atmosphere. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful as well as very personable. Great selection of products, and staff knows detailed information about the products.

So after going to this place since it opened, I was just asked to leave my purse, which looks like a backpack, on the floor at the front counter... uh no. I'm a grown ass woman, not some 12 year old stealing from the drug store. And by the way, what in the entire fuck could I possibly steal when EVERY item is behind the counter with 5 bud tenders or in a glass case? Just can't win with these 502s. Either they have people who seem completely ignorant of marijuana or they treat you like an asshole. Boo.

If I could give no stars I would. I have a very real drivers liscense from Utah and have shopped at this rec store many times but after my most recent visit I will never return. The doorman Sam at this location made the very wrong assumption that my liscense was a fake (even though it scanned, and checked out with the DLD site, because it is in fact a real ID) and stole my Drivers Liscense. He harassed and threatened me for over two hours until I called the police to get my liscense back. I missed work, and had the manager promise that the owner would call with an apology and explanation. I waited two weeks until I called and had the owner say he was not aware that his doorman had broken the law, and seriously inconvenienced me. My harassment was swept under the rug, Tacoma PD highly recommended I file a civil suit due to the crime of holding me hostage by confiscating (illegally) my State issued Drivers Liscense. Not even an apology from the owner. So incredibly lame and offensive. Here's the deal- even if the prices are nice, if the owner is okay with a customer being threatened, harassed, and their employees breaking the law, its not a good idea to buy from them. Emerald Leaves clearly does not care about their customers.

Great service.  Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.  Good selection.  Parking is lean but normally always available.  I really like coming here.  They take debit too!!!

The manager is so HANDSOME and more importantly HELPFUL AF! Best dispensary in town, hands down.

I gave them one last chance and they screwed the pooch once again giving bad advice and not knowing the difference between a Sativa and an Indica. Who the hell are they hiring at these places? I know, freaking idiots!!!!

Swooped in here to scoop up some bud and the people were super chill ready to help, got hooked up with a $40 ounce of some good quality bud so I was quite a happy customer - can't beat deals like those

I was in town to see a friend and decided to try some local buds from one of the dispensaries .  I selected Emerald Leaves because I saw several people going into the store and I figured it had to be good...right?   When I walked in .....WOW!!   They had an amazing selection of buds and edibles that blew my mind.  The guy that helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful,  he just wasn't  just trying to sell me weed.  Also, the owner introduced himself ..gave me his card and asked if I was satisfied with my purchase, he really cared about his product and services....that was cool!  I will definitely come back when I am in town and tell me friends to do the same.

Two words: Great variety. Super deals if you are balling on a budget like me.  Definitely worth stopping in here. low prices, quality flower, What else can I say get over there and check it out.

Never shop here.  I hope the business goes bust. Bad karma is coming your way Emerald Leaves .  Apparently purchased the parking privileges for my veterinary clinic and towed my car out of the lot.

Out of all the recreational stores!   This is my favorite one.  Best place in Tacoma.  Their staff is very friendly as you could imagine they work in a marijuana store!   Their prices are fair and you can find a decent 20 dollar 1/8.  which is very important to me:).  This will be my store now that all medical places are shut down :(

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. Fabulous product with an amazing and friendly staff there to help you find just what you're looking for! Anthony is my go-to guy. He has never suggested something that I didn't love! I highly recommend this place!

Today some little coward decided he could physically assault me outside of this weed shop before I went inside. This is not a bad area but there are bad people in this world. I just want to say that the men inside of this shop were wonderful. They made me feel comfortable at a moment when I was completely on edge. They helped pulled up video footage of the perp and even came out to chat with the cops about the incident and what they saw. I have been a regular here but I really appreciate y'all on a whole new level after today. Thank you, y'all know who you are.

This place has some of the best deals, and they give veterans discounts which is always a plus for me! Everyday they have a deal on something different, for me. Munchie Monday's are my favorite lol

Great service! The man helping me out was very knowledgeable and gave me all the tips and tricks I needed to know for a rare user. Felt so comfortable and welcomed!

Every time you go into a dispensary and tell them what you want they pull out options and suggestions for you to look at. That wasn't the case with this tall blonde budtender here, she was extremely unhelpful. I came in asking for a pack of joints obviously not knowing what their supply and stock looked like. Insinuating that I wasn't sure and was open to suggestions but it was like talking to a damn wall.If you don't want to help people and answer questions then find another job where you don't have to interact. It must suck to hate your job like that you

This place is fantastic, great prices and customer service. I have never been disappointed and won't go anywhere else.

Prices are competitive, not exceptional. Flower quality is good, customer service is sorely lacking. I left the dispensary up the street because their online order function...didn't -- chronicaly.I'm never going back here. I'll drive 2 more miles to the Res and get treated well and spend a little less on some days a little more on others. I get respect every single time--- as well as an elder discount.

Racist employees that spew nonsense that should not be tolerated in this field.

This has become my Tacoma spot. The staff is nice and cool and I like their online ordering. I had one weird experience where I called in and the  person on the phone was a little short, I will attribute this to it being the day before 420. Outside of this I have really enjoyed stopping by and grabbing stuff.

Never have what I ask for. Menu is out dated cause they never have the two kinds of sativa that have been sold out for months. Always advertise the $20 swag bag and always claim to be sold out instead of just piecing together one for me. How hard is it to get me 4 grams of bottom shelf and some bottom shelf pre rolls for $20? If you do not have it to sell or if you don't want to sell it then quit advertising it.

Every employee there is resourceful, personable, timely, honest, and an overall lovely interaction every time. Prices are competitive, especially considering the quality. Please just get Dank Sinatra in the full grams again please  Love this shop!
