Impeccable selection. Even started taking debit cards, but have chosen to pass off the charge fee + make extra funds off of electronic transactions at $2.50 each. Just when something looks too good to be true

I've been coming here for a while, I won't return until the demon parking woman is gone. She's horrible. This place is cool though, which sucks because I will not come back so long as I see her in the lot.

It was my first time at Mary Mart. Terrence made my visit great. I ordered online and I did not see the text to confirm it but he didn't hesitate to fill it right away and was super friendly. I have cancer and every little bit helps. I appreciate the curbside pick up too. Love the prices and the ladies night discount was appreciated.  I WILL BE BACK!!!

Beware all ye who enter here, for before you may enter this store, you must first face an evil spirit who appears in your mirror as you're attempting to park. The gatekeeper to this place is a shockingly rude parking lot attendant, who delights in harassing you over any real or imagined infraction she can think of. Mary Mart, this woman is terrible for your business. Treating customers like they're both incompetent and a criminal is not an effective way to invite people into your business. People of Tacoma, this lady is the walking embodiment of someone who has let the tiniest amount of power go to their head, and is almost definitely a Slytherin. I suggest you go elsewhere until the horcruxes have been destroyed.

Parking lot attendant is a total jerk! Never coming back! Emerald leaves takes cards and the staff is way cooler! Screw the trolls!

I've been loyal to Mary Mart since the begining, before they had a parking lot. This is the last time I pull in to this store. The parking lady needs to go. As parking here is tight, it's good to have someone preventing accidents. However, this lady is harassing people who don't need to be told how to drive. There are other places in town to shop until the realize one bad employee can turn many customers away.

This use to be my go to store but Green Token is closer to me so it's been a minute since I have been here. HELLA RUDE budtenders! Won't EVER be back!! Got yelled at across the store cuz i lifted my mask up for a hot second (funny cuz he took his off after he yelled at me) & then another lady came in yelling at everyone to get away from the door! Just fucking rudeness. They should both smoke a joint & relax!

Needed something for sleep and since I have a lung problem, can't inhale so needed something else.  Went on a Sunday midday, not crowded, short lines and very helpful customer service.  Gave me several options of edibles to try and offered samples instead of buying something that didn't work.  Many choices, clean and pleasant environment.Am surprised at some of the negative reviews.  I didn't find any of those problems.

Huge selection in here never seen a shop like it - the actual Walmart of Marijuana. Walked in and was helped out right away and set up with just what I looking for. The guy helping me was attentive and put genuine thought into helping me find just the strain/deal I was looking for.

I don't live remotely close to Tacoma, but when i am in the area, i stop by here and pick up some necessities.  The budtenders i have encountered are very friendly and helpful. They have some cool specials on certain days as well. For example, it was a Tuesday night,  and their special was two for Tuesdays or something like that. Two J's for the price of one. Something told me to give them a call just to make sure they had plenty left.  Sadly they only had 1 left, but would still honor the sale. The guy over the phone was sweet enough to hold it for me while i made the 5 minute drive.  Other than specials, they sell everything else you would need or want to try. I've purchased a new pipe there as well, and for a fair price and they wrapped it with care. Thanks, guys!

I had heard about high prices, and they have a good selection, at a little higher end, no pun intended!  I had a knowledgeable, and patient budtender.  I come from a medical background, and they understood what I was after.  They have some cool events, and given their location, yes, $5.00 more for what I buy somewhere else of lesser quality.....their rent is higher as well.  They equally out.....I go here for the special selection, something a step above, and it comes from personal experience and knowledge.

Have been going to this place for a while, always had a pleasent  experience. Today however, one of the employees directing traffic in the lot (female, dark sunglasses) waved us over and told me to park in a spot on the street, commenting at the time that it was indeed a legal spot. I had thought she was helping us out. I then go into the store and when I come out my car is gone. Apparently parking enforcement told my wife to move it or get a ticket. My wife then explained to him that we were told to park there by the mary mart employee. When the parking officer then asked the employee if she told us to park there, my wife clearly heard her deny that she told us that we were good to park there... Said she had no idea what we were doing.  What the Hell? Now I will be telling EVERYONE I know about the character of this Tacoma Mary Mart employee, and advising them to head to your competitors. I hope it was worth it to her to save face with the meter man, and lose a loyal customer and have everyone I know hear this story. Everyone else there has always been great, it's too bad one person's decision to lie can cause you guys to lose a repeat customer.

Bought a glass blunt for 20$ there. The guy who helped was so nice! The lady who rang me up was just as nice! First and for most. Love my glass blunt  the chalk board menu is a lot to take in. But just ask the bud tender to show you some thangs and your good to go!

Placed an online order.  Got the text that it was ready, and headed out.  Got there to find it wasn't ready AND ten of twelve things I'd ordered weren't in stock.  Lies about what they sell.  Lied about when it's ready.  Awful experience and undermined trust.   What else might they lie about?

I was happy with my cannabis purchase. I placed an order online for pickup. Service was quick and friendly.Why two stars?These folks are selling counterfeit illadelph glass.

My reviews are rather mixed. I have been popping in the store now for a good 5 months. I am somewhat of a "new stoner"- and I just recently discovered the joys and positive medicinal effects of edibles and joints to wind down after a hard days work or dance rehearsal. I am not a huge stoner nor do I dab or vape or smoke from a bong or even big pipes since I have an athletic/ dance background I still must remain disciplined and not be a total fry lol. I go through about a joint every 2 or 3 days and I eat edibles little by little at a time like a bird. I am also not rich and never willing to spend more than $7 on a joint and no more than $15 on a bag of edibles...this I usually disclaim or explain when I first get to the counter to the budtenders couple of them know me by now and know what i like, which is awesome. I have always had an awesome time with the younger budtendees in my age range who sorta understand more when a broke artist and newfound pot consumer like myself rolls in on a budget. But the problem I have been facing recently, the last 4 times I have been in there especially, is the major push of upsale. The upsaling by some budtenders has been coming on too strongly. Perhaps something shifted in the company: I know factory made weed is super corporate now and perhaps the managers are on a commission- but whatever is going on at Mary Mart Corporate- it is being projected onto the customers in rather pushy and cold ways: Notably by (I wish to keep this polite because I know they are managers and hard working people and it's a tough position to be in...so I don't want to call them "older" or anything but that's the T...its the older ones.) perhaps it's a generational gap thing or a lack of understanding that most young ppl in Tacoma are BROKE AF and can only really afford tiny luxuries here and there. The push of always bringing me the $20 and $30 joints FIRST when they already know I am not going to spend that much on a joint is a bit much. The other night I told the dude I had a bit of a cold and I was just gonna get a couple fruity edibles to ease the body aches: he went into a schpeal about the weed sodas and highly reccommended them I.e liquid marijuana - talked to me for a good 10 mins about it without telling me the price of course and then grabbed a bottle and rung me up. Um the bottle was valued at $38.00 before tax....as if I was that gullible and was magically ready to drop 40 bucks on a bottle of weed soda. It was awkward and uncomfortable to have to constantly say "oh no thanks um ya thats a little over my price range my budget here is only like 15 bucks..." Leaving me to feel emberassed and loserish and insecure about what I want because it may not help them reach their "quota" for the day. I am sorry that my budget is I guess too low for Mary Mart. The upsaling issue is real and the last 4 times have been a bit of a let down and a bummer experience. It is a bold move to push and push such high price items to someone who is just in need of smaller things but if that is Mary Marts way, then I may just start shopping at Emerald Leaves only. Emerald leaves doesn't give a FUCK if you're poor and I like that.Quit upsaling new stoners! They are vulnerable and are learning! Ease them into the ganja world and plz be more understanding of a customers budget. Expensive joints and sodas are too adavanced for ppl with simpler and cheaper needs.

There's a whole lot that can seem overwhelming when you first walk into the building. The vibe was right in Mary Mart. We didn't feel rushed. If you know what you are going for the staff is more than helpful. Even with the stupidest of questions that I'm usually good for. Michael helped us out he was very attentive, asked ALL our questions, showed us multiple items, and gave us his honest opinions. My friend really likes the rainbow belts Michael recommended and I really like the mango belts he recommended to me. Oh yeah on Wednesday's ladies they have Wonder Woman Wednesdays! Ladies get a %10 discount can't beat that. If you sign up for their loyalty program they will let you know when they drop all the product you like.

Being from out of town And a novice I was fortunately introduced to Michael (DAMN, GINA!)Michael spent almost 25 minutes with me explaining different things and recommending product he believed I would enjoy. He hit the nail on the head. COUCH LOCK!Thank you, Michael. You're the best budtender. When I return from Oklahoma I'll come back and visit.

So this location has really taken its time to become the staple it is today. "We need Taco Bell AND Retro Music videos playing when we smoke or else we might not  be real stoners we're aspiring to be" is the vibe here. The bud is the kind of super store variety you would expect it to be after they invested into a larger location across 6th st, They have been able to bring a benevolent vibe into the store recently that i really appreciate, since it is all about the keeping patient/customer experience satisfactory. i wouldn't doubt them to become highly monumental in the retail cannabis industry near future.

Shout out to Miss Laurie at Mary Mart dispensary she is simply the best!! You tell her what you're looking to get and how much you have to spend and she WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU!! SHE IS DEFINITELY A KEEPER!!!

Very slow customer service and always have lines when you first walk in they don't even ask you for your ID which is very weird to me since everywhere else I've gone they ask for your ID right away when you walk through the door the product is great it's just the customer service that really needs to be worked on the first time I came in we waited over 20 minutes to even get anything and then we left because we were never helped The organization of their store is very out of order this is my last time coming here I thought I'd give it a second chance but honestly you guys suck!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Went there today to buy 7g. The guy who helped me name was Anthony and he was incredibly rude. Snatched my money from me and overall seemed very irritated with me asking for what I wanted. Don't plan on going back anytime. Sad because I really loved there different varieties of products.

Just came in. Professional and diversified. Michael was educated and has perfect customer service.

I went to Mary Mart to try it out and I must say, I was very pleased with the wonderful customer service I received from John. He was very informative about the products, he listened to what I wanted and he sent me home with some great stuff.  John is a great person to have employed, he really represented. I will be back for the good weed and reasonable prices.

Three totally disappointing visits over six months and I'll never step foot in that store again. This last and final visit this week had me in the store without my glasses so I gave the clerk instructions on what I was looking for explicitly. She narrowed her search to two choices and after she read the potency of the strain, I settled on the Grape Ape.When I got home and found my glasses and read the label on the packaging I found that the potency she had stated to me was incorrect and off by 10 percentage points. But what I really detest is that their mistake became  my problem seeing that you cannot return anything even when it's their negligence. Also, after visiting other stores in the area I found their prices here are way too high.I found a place on Hosmer Street in Tacoma by the Bass Pro Shop that has a menu four times bigger than Mary Mart with prices 10-20% lower and so far has a staff that is not incompetent as it is at Mary Mart.To the owners/mgrs. Are you hiring idiots or are they just soooo high they can't focus enough to get the customers what they ask for???

As a former server and Starbucks barista I'm not usually one to complain about service, but a couple experiences I have had with the staff here were terrible.A few weeks ago, I went in in the morning (8:45am) to grab an eighth (I'm not picky, but I stay in my price range). The guy who helped me could obviously tell I don't go in there often, as this isn't, and never will be, my regular shop. He asked me what I was looking for, told him "an eighth of flower" and he told me that the menu was behind me. I got a $25 bag, and gave him a hundred to pay. He simply replied with "I have to give you all 5s". I said that's okay and he said "better be, it's 8:30 in the morning." Handed me my stuff, and I left. Uhh okay? Don't you guys consistently make transactions over $20, $50, $100?!Fast forward to tonight, I came through the area to go to a nearby bar. Looking for a parking spot, I pulled into the lot to turn around to look on some nearby streets. The security guard patrolling the lot gave me the signal to turn around, which is what I already was doing. He then came up to the car and threatened me with a $2 fine (lol okay???) for pulling into the parking lot wrong, even though there is no one way sign. Just a fence blocking the view. My point is, I can name about 6 other places in the area that you can get all the same products from the same growers for around the same price, even cheaper. This place clearly has employees with no tact or reasoning.

Do not shop here they sell bad items and will not warrantee them. I was told when I bought one of the batteries for the oil's that if it broke I could walk in and exchange it at no cost to me with or without a receipt. I tried to do that after only having the pen for two months and it broke and they will not return it. Some of the cartridges only work for three or four uses and then break also. They will not return them after 7 days.  Will never go back.

Just checked this place out and I was pleasantly surprised. For one they have ladies night where you get 10% off your entire order. And it's very nice. Located in a pretty cool area and does not at all feel sketchy. The girl who helped me was very friendly and helpful. I might just make this my go to weed shop.

The best in the business! Everyone there is always super friendly and considerate. I absolutely love all the chalk art on the menu board, its awesome!

This is my rec store of last resort. It's not a shady place, but the prices are a skosh higher than other outlets, and some of the strains that they push aren't really strains, just names for rookies to drop, e.g. "Hey bro I just scored some Han Solo."

I have been shopping at Mary Mart since they opened, and I always only shop here. I normally dont do yelp reviews, but after yesterday, I felt compelled to. I came in needing some help with a  pair of disposable vape pens I had bought previously. I didnt have the receipt, but they were still willing to help. I got assigned to Laurie, one of the managers, who was generously patient with me, and very helpful as well. I knew the approximate date and time of the purchase, as well as the transaction amount, and Laurie was kind enough to look back through the transaction records to see if she could find it for me. In the meanwhile, we had a good chat, and laughed over the adorable antics of her granddaughter, as well as the weird names of some cannabis strains that had come out recently. In the end, we couldnt find the transaction, but because I had brought the pens with me, she gave me an item to help me recover the concentrate inside the pen, so that all wasnt lost. She also generously gave me a great deal on another vape pen, which was very kind of her. I have always been met with good service here, and this just further reinforces that pattern.

Good store, nice options! Shout out to Emily- she is very helpful, kind, and knows her stuff. The place is organized too, so I'd definitely recommend Mary Mart.

Really clean and there are a ton of choices nicely organized on the boards. It was really busy when we went and it took a few minutes to get through the line but they were really friendly there and I felt it was a good experience and good weed lol

I cannot respect this shop. This shop is terrible. I'd rather just go to emerald leaves and they're not even ready for medical patients yet. I have been a medical patient for over 5 years now, and ok the new laws I get it, things are different. But this shop just doesn't even care about medical patients or what we're going through with the changes.One of the guys that worked there looked me in my eyes and told me I'm not gonna see a difference in price compared to what I was paying before... strange... Never paid 50$ for an 8th, especially a skimp 8th and never once thought it was appealing to pay 400$ for a ounce.So yesterday I come in to finally get registered because the first time I guess the guy who does it wasn't there, I get registered, which took 30 minutes. Literally I stood around waiting just to get a card. While I stood around tho I heard clerks conversations, and I heard a certain conversation with a customer I can tell clearly visits a lot and knows a lot about this shopThey're literally talking about how long they've had marijuana up on the shelves, some strains over 3 months plus and they try to sell it for outrageous prices. How does it stay fresh and you still try to sell it for 45$ are you kidding me.. I also found out that 2 joints Tuesday bs is literally BS lol there's not full 1.0's in the joints they're .7's. On top of that one of the girls that worked there was having a hard time registering somebody, so because of their mess up he couldn't pick up the amount he wanted, and when they told him that, THE SHOP recommended "just leave your card here, go do whatever you have to do and come back for it" that has to be the dumbest, most unprofessional thing I've ever heard. Yeah lemme leave my medical card wit you guys, real smart.I feel like I'm just working with an official drug dealer who thinks they can sucker me into marijuana because I need it, my papers clearly state so. Like one of these people who yelped, say anything or step up against them and they just ban you Me being a medical patient, this dispensary has the worst prices, worst customer service because again, who sells dried up weed and lies about how long it's been on the shelf? I'd rather drive/walk to emerald leaves where they aren't even ready for medical patients but I STILL get a better deal.

I love this place! Especially when KOBE is my budtender!!! He is the best, always knowledgeable about the whole menu. I always leave knowing that I'm going to be satisfied with my purchase. There's  great prices, and there is always a deal if you're looking for one.

This is my go-to dispensary! It easily has the best deals in town (have special sales Monday-Friday) and is super conveniently located. I've never had anything but a pleasant experience there with their friendly Budtenders and great selection!

The Mary Mart is freakin awesome! Granted, recreational is always going to be more expensive than medical- The Mart Mart is the only recreational store I have been to that has certain daily specials. Also the people that work there are so friendly and helpful! Whether I'm going in to grab something to chill me out or get me ready to pregame, the staff always has awesome recommendations and they all seem to know and understand their products really well. I have definitely recommended this place before and will continue to do so, nothin but positive vibes.

This place is awesome. The staff knows about every product on the shelves and are super helpful! Big shoutout to Billy for taking the time to tell me about various products, even when he knew I wasn't planning to purchase it. Wish I could give a higher rating.

No refunds under any circumstances.  My shatter was dropped into glass, and could not be scrapped out with out risking breaking the glass.  I was still stuck with it.  Complaining got me banned from the shop, but that's fine.  Why would I try again at my own risk?  Why by humiliated like this again?  No.  I think I can shop somewhere else, anywhere else, and I recommend the same to you

This place is garbage. Over priced, uneducated, and have sold me bunk vape cartridges more then 5 times and will do nothing for me even with a receipt regardless of what they tell you when you buy. This is the Wal-Mart of dispensaries and I would go anywhere else in Tacoma but Mary's.

Anthony, you have got to be one of the rudest people I've ever encountered in a customer service environment. Shop is nice and clean. Nice layout. Prices are a bit higher than any other shop I've been in, which wouldn't matter if they had better customer service. Other members of the staff are friendly, courteous. They take debit cards which is a nice plus. But, I only go there when it's convenient, because I can not stand to deal with Anthony. We get it, you can draw, we are all very proud of your doodles, now stop being a smug elitist hipster, get off your high horse and fetch me my .7 gram joint that your trying to pass off as a full gram.

Great place and very friendly staff. They're always so kind and helpful when I come in. The prices are honesty so so reasonable and there  rewards program is worth using. There's times where the discount has saved me at least $20. Totally coming here over every green or anywhere else in my opinion.

Bought two vape cartridges, used the first one and it was great, opened the 2nd one and it would not work. Took it back to exchange or get a refund, because it was over 7 days, they were not going to take it back, even though I had my receipt and the full non working cartridge. Yes it was past 7 days because I bought two cartridges, smoked the first one which lasted me about 10 days. Finally they brought over a female manager who was extremely rude to me and when she said she couldn't exchange it because it was past 7 days, I got upset and start raising my voice so other customers could hear what was going on, she then said, well I will make an exception this one time and exchanged it. I used to be loyal to Mary Mart but have not been back since. They also cram BLM BS down your throat, I don't support terrorist groups. No longer a Mary Mart customer.

My first experience here was a couple years back. I am extremely green when it comes to THC and even greener then. I dont think this place is very noob friendly. They have loud music and everything is behind the counter which makes it very difficult to shop around and see if anything grabs my attention. I think the people are friendly but a little aggressive, they most likely know what they are selling but for a newcomer its a bit overwhelming. My second experience was on their 4/20 sale I ordered online and was told to wait for a text saying it was ready before coming in. I waited and never got a text, 8 hours later I received a text stating they are putting the order back on the shelves... I was bummed but just decided it wasnt a big deal.Overall I think this is a staple of Tacoma. They are very good for the community and surrounding businesses. Its an intense experience and feels difficult to wrap my head around as a noob. I did buy a cheap $5 pipe and it was perfect as a starter/testing the water pipe! I have a preferred Tacoma spot and I go there over this place, but they do seem to have some decent sales and prices.

Jordan and Sarah are so clutch. They always know exactly what to hook up. I forget this other girl's name but she has almost the same birthday as me (Scorp gang) and she is a total fav as well. Pretty much everyone here will get you exactly what you need, and whether you want to get in-and-out in under 5 or spend 45 minutes talking through edibles, they are happy to help everyone. I don't shop anywhere else.

Fantastic selection, almost overwhelming honestly. The menu was fabulous and was our budtender, Kiki. Try the pop tarts--you won't be disappointed. 5/5 would go again.

Reasonable prices and friendly bud tenders. A good experience overall! Not sure who the crazy parking lot lady everyone was complaining about is but there was no one there when I went lol.

The people here are always so nice and extremely helpful. You could ask them a million questions and they would still be patient answering all of them. I go here to get edibles for insomnia and ointment for my mom's knee. No one else I would trust.

Where do I start , I have been coming here for over a year now. And I must say , overall. The store is clean, feel good environment, welcoming, and professional. I have two people specifically that I need to address. Alegra and Raven are by far thee most professional, engaging, and outgoing bud tenders I’ve ever met. I swear they are sisters based off there energy, it’s so enlightening! They both actually care about the customers. I myself (indecisive) always come in not knowing what I want. And they ALWAYS take the time to bring stuff out not just random overpriced stuff. But what actually fits your budget. Both of them are very considerate when you tell them what you got and well even go under your budget (a hint at who to go to ?). Above and beyond is what I can say, and I say both because they do both are wonderful, kindred souls, I’m hard to impress (trust me it’s taken over a year to make a review here) but these two will always have my loyalty, and I honestly believe people like this make other people’s day and not even know it. Thank you Mary Mart for introducing these two BEAUTIFUL souls to me and my ol lady. They definitely are a wonderful example of what good customer service is.?????

Love love love this place! It’s so clean and open and fun to look around. The staff is always incredible! I went today and Sara was so knowledgeable and genuinely wanted to know what I was looking for so that she could suggest the best product for me. She was basically the hype man for what she recommended!

Large clean area! Ventilation is great! I love the hanging lights!!! Oren was a top notch bud-tender. She found exactly what I was looking for at a price that worked for me. Mary mart was my old regular spot. A closer shop opened near my house a couple years ago and I stopped going here. After this experience I will be sure to head back at least a few times a month.
