Delivery service is unprofessional- they won't even go to your door. It's pretty sketchy experience overall especially with drivers in unmarked cars for cash only transactions. The coupons they text you don't apply to deliveries which the coupon never states. The overall experience at this location has always been sub par and the staff is not accommodating. If you want a better selections with WAY better service go to the one in Sorrento Valley.
Drove all the way from Phoenix to check this place out and sure glad I picked this dispensary of all of them. Their staff is amazing, down to the old security guard who was awesome at helping us out! Picked up 3 beautiful clones from them and couldn't be happier! This is always my go to dispensary when I am in town, wish they were like this in Arizona!
I came here looking for sativa specifically. The bud tender gave me a bogo they were advertising and assure me it was sativa, I told him to please make sure because they had sold me an indica dominant before as a sativa. He assured me and since it doesn't say on the container I asked again and he said "oh we know the strains this is 100% sativa" I get home and immediately notice it feels like indica, I look up the brand and the strain it says its hybrid with 80% indica 20% sativa. This is the second time they do this I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time but I guess lately they will tell you anything to make a sell, I will not be coming back.
People here are always nice and helpful. However ,today after going there many many times I was greeted right away by a Mike Tate. He said he was available if I was ready. Not only did he make me feel welcomed as soon as I walked up, he let me know of something the store had that I never knew about. I told Mike what I needed and not only did he give me what I asked for, he gave me something to go with the product I was ordering which went hand in hand (and I had no idea) and is a LIFE SAVER! Very inviting atmosphere and lots of stuff to look at! I haven't been to this location since it opened and I love how they've updated everything! We were helped by Eden who greeted us and was very thorough in her explanations when we asked about various edibles! The manager (which we couldn't the get the name of) was running around breaking a sweat to get his associates the help they needed. I always appreciate employees who hustle like that to get business done! 10/10

Ordered delivery for the first time. The website doesn't allow you to select flavors, so I asked for the watermelon flavored rings in the "comments/notes" section. Delivery was prompt but when they arrived I received the "Holiday wreaths"... in APRIL. Not a huge deal but since they're old you'd think there would be a discount on them, not full price of $16 when I wanted the watermelon rings. Also, ordered chocolate covered blueberries as advertised, received chocolate covered espresso beans.I probably won't be ordering delivery from them again, unless they update their website to choose flavors/ a description of products.
Kinda hi prices,the parking sucks ass cause I almost had to smack one of the employees do to her parking over the space line and running her hustle hole at me for parking so close I had to tap her car with my door just to get in and out of my car....One of the worst places I've ever been.Not sure I wanna go back.
First of all, I would like to say that I've been a loyal customer since you guys first opened and have been coming almost twice a week ever since. I love the place and people that work there. From David, to Gio, to L J, and everyone else there has always treated me great, even Nick, but today was drastically different. Before I arrived to SDRC, I called prior to see if they can do something about my leaking cartridge. Louis told me to come in, and that they can see what they can do. Once I get there, I'm pleasantly approached by L J after letting the budtender know about the issue with the cart. She then takes it back to Nick for him to review. During that time, I was told by my BT that he purchased the cart over the weekend and he has the same issue. Nick then approached and stated that "it was a definite no," in which I replied with, "why?" He then proceeded to explain to me, with aggression and a weird attitude, that the cartridge needs to be leaking out of the package, as if I knew the reasons why they can't do returns. I then asked even if the cart was leaking after using it? He then replied, "you can't go buy liquor and drink half of it and try to get your money back, can you?" Of course not, but the liquor isn't defective, the cart is. Not a good example at all. And while he is explaining all of this, he waving his hands around in my face and slamming the table. Why? Not sure what's the reason behind his attitude towards me. I wasn't arguing with him, I wasn't even disagreeing with him I was simply explaining my issue with him, and I'm given complete disrespect. All of the while, L J is watching this happen right in front of her and I ask her, and say it out loud so Nick can hear me, Why is he being so aggressive? And he responded after approaching me by saying "If I was aggressive towards you right now, we would be fighting. I would be fighting you." Is that right? So now I'm threatened by one of your employees. I didn't know it was customer appreciation day! I then was told that I had to leave and Nick had Auggie come over and the new guy escort me out. Really? There has to be something done about this situation, otherwise this will happen again with Nick, he seems as though he is a ticking time bomb in a sense, waiting to blow up. Unfortunately, I was that guy he blew up on. Completely unacceptable behavior that shouldn't be tolerated anywhere, part of a great company or on the streets, behavior that causes potentially huge complications.Update [3/26/21]: After sending this exact review as an email to SDRC HR, here is their response:Good Morning Noah,We would like to offer a sincere apology for the awful experience you had in our store yesterday. We have read your email and public reviews, and are so sorry for the way that you were treated and dismissed without solving any issues you had or satisfying your needs as a customer. We have addressed this instance with all of our managers, and action is being taken on multiple levels.To extend an olive branch, as it were, we would like to offer you a care package that you could pick up along with a face to face apology. While we realize your experience was terrible and entirely our fault, we also suffer greatly from negative public reviews, and ask that in accepting our olive branch that those reviews could be taken down as to not hurt the entire company for the actions of Nick. We hope that you will accept our apology and our offering with forgiveness. I was pleasantly surprised with what I received. I was then told that Alfie will be shooting me a call, in which he did. I thanked him and then proceeded to ask if Nick will still be working with them. He stated that he couldn't disclose that information, which is Corpo lingo for "he still works here and we stand by him." Based on that response, I can't continue purchasing from a company who supports a manager that has no respect for customers, especially their loyal ones. Updated the star rating from 1 star to 2, since Alfie attempted to resolve the worst experience in a retail environment that I have ever had.
Went here on a whim and I was very pleasantly surprised with the layout, cleanliness, security, of the whole place. The bud tender was very knowledgeable and was able to help me find exactly what I needed. This is the first place I've been to that has honored and provided a Veteran discount too and that was awesome.I was a little skeptical about going to a legit place, but SDRC was really cool. I'll definitely be coming back in the future.
This business does not deserve my money. RUDE. RACIST. PREJUDICE.This review was hard to write. I've been coming here for years. I simply asked a customer if they were done using the ATM they cursed at me. I told them to please not curse at me. To which they got in my face. I'm 5'8" POC . This person was a 6'3" WHITE man. Super intimidating. I let the security know about the situation to which they said "I'll talk to them"...... UHM you'll talk to them but still expect me to wait in line in back of them when purchasing???! That's so degrading. If you're not going to ask this person to leave after they have verbally assaulted me. (Even the person next to me was in disbelief) then I will take my business elsewhere. I don't deserve to be cursed at nor should my sexuality be an issue. I left. BUT then I called to speak to management to just see if this is how they will handle these types of situations in the future, because if so then I can no longer support a business who treats its customers like this.The person I spoke to (ROB) said if I don't like the way the security handled the situation that yes I could leave..... like really ?? Rob had this condescending tone of voice and literally as I was speaking cut me off on two occasions in the span of a 4 minute phone call. I ended the conversation by letting them know I'll just take my business elsewhere. I won't be supporting someone who tolerates other customers swearing at people. Nor staff who literally are just trying to get you off the phone. I sometimes wonder if this conversation would have gone this way or another had it wasn't for the way I looked. I'll take my business down the street .
SDRC is such a welcoming & helpful dispensary to get you whatever you need quickly. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable in their products. They were so accommodating to my needs. I have a 2 year old that I can't bring him in so after calling them and asking if there are any options other than delivery they brought it out to us. So thankful and especially grateful for ANTHONY's help through the whole process. I have never been disappointed at this location and I have been there many times.
Went in with a friend and we were helped out by Nick G. He was super helpful and knowledgeable about the bud and helped us find the perfect flower. We looked over tons of different product and were super comfortable talking and didn't feel rushed at all. Thanks!
Customer service is nil. I tried to call all morning to check on clone arrivals but no answer. Very poor service, over priced products, rude attendants. A perfect zero.
My favorite place to go recently,,the staff from beginning to end are polite,friendly, and always have recommendations that are suitable to my needs, I don't know everyone by name but every interaction with an employee has been pleasant! I went in today and Belle helped me and was very nice and helpful and another young lady helped her was also very nice and helpful...thank you guys for the A1 service
Located upstairs. When you reach to the top of the stairs be prepared to show an ID upon entering. There are guards. The smell of the plants are strong if you're not used to it. Nice and clean and a lot of selections from Vape to edibles. I went there to get CBD lotion. Unfortunately, they did not have my first choice of the roller so I opt for the tube. I've used the other one in a bottle but that's too much work. The service is always good. Stand in the line and someone will call you to the counter. Happy shopping!
I wanted the best cartridges they had to offer so the cashier recommended some cartridge that didn't even list the thc percentage on the packaging. I should of just went with my gut and not purchased ,cause this shit was just shwag. If this is what you're selling as your premium, then you guys should be embarrassed. Save your money people, this place is a joke.
Dope experience, really helpful bud-tenders & just an all around cool atmosphere. For someone who cannot regularly access a dispensary back home it was really nice to be helped by someone who was so patient and knowledgeable. Bought two full gram of Outco cartridges last week. One didn't work at all. So I brought it back the Sorrento valley store and the bud tender didn't accept it. Been a customer for over a year but today was my last day as a customer at SDRC. Headed to over Cookies in La Mesa now.
First time here and it's a pretty nice place, especially the vibes. Eden helped us out and she was an amazing associate! Super nice and very patient and informative!! 10/10 experience! The manager was also very hardworking, helping us even though he was needed elsewhere! Cool guy!
My first delivery order with SDRC went downhill, fast. The selection was fair, and since I see them all around San Diego, figured I'd give them a shot. Placed the order at 430pm, received a note that they were on their way and will be there within the hour at 530pm. At 825pm I received a call from the dispensary with some excuse and said they'd call me straight away in the morning at 930. At 1030am I get a call, same guy from before, and he started telling me the things they didn't have in my order. Why the deceit and the run around? I will not be going back. There are many better options.
During my visit to San Diego I went to a few different dispensaries. At this particular one, I was helped by a young man named Connor, and I was pleasantly surprised by his excellent customer service, knowledge of the product, and humorous personality. He really made me feel comfortable, thus making the buying experience a lot more enjoyable than other dispensaries in the area. He recommended some great products that had me feeling great my entire visit. Thank you to SDRC and their incredible staff.
Bought a bottle of CBD/THC cream from them for lower back and hip pain. It did nothing to relieve my pian. I was told I couldn't do an even exchange for something else and offered a 20% discount on another product. $60 down the toilet. What a rip-off.
I gave this place multiple tries and it seems to be a hit or miss! Anyone buying flowers to be careful and pay attention to the date of harvest of the flowers, these bud tenders are usually trying push all the old flowers! I bought 3 eights and got 1 free. Now I know why I got 1 free! It was some dried crusty flower! I can't return for my money back so be careful! $160 down the drain! Great job guys! Will I return hmmmm..........
Don't come here they have shitty weed that's pre packaged. When you break it up you can pulverize it in one pinch. I like my weed to be dense and rich with flavor. Their cannabis is pretty to look at but that about it. The best things to purchase here is plants from the nursery and seeds. That's it. Everything else from the candy to the prepackaged weed is not worth your money. I live down the street from SDRC. I would rather travel 10 miles and back to go get some real weed at a real dispensary. I'll only come here for plants and seed. Who gives a crap if the staff is wearing gloves and mask. All stores and dispensaries do that, it's nothing to comment about. All stores try their best to keep they're customers safe. Whoopty Doo. I promise you the Cannabis isn't worth getting. Go to a dispensary where you can smell your weed. If you decide to grow this place is a best bet for seed and clones. But still I'll give only one star. If you want real customers get some real weed. I spent $300 on some weed that taste like I'm smoking cardboard paper in a blunt. A glass pipe or bong isn't any better. Don't buy here unless your growing at home..
Here we go....I placed an order for delivery a week and a day ago (Tues. Sept. 8) and I have had the worst, most frustrating customer service experience I've had in a long time. First, after placing my order for delivery online around 8 pm, I received a phone call from a representative who told me you were unable to deliver that night--which was fine--but I told him I would not be home the next morning and that delivery in the afternoon would be a good time. He said that was fine and he would make a note. The next morning, I receive a voicemail from another representative telling me they were processing my order and that it was going to be delivered shortly. I tried to reach SDRC through the only phone number listed on the website, used the appropriate extensions, but the phone line was busy. When I tried to leave a message, saying I would not physically be home to receive my order, I was given an automatic message that the voicemail box was full. Why is a "business" using a phone number that is clearly inoperable? I tried calling multiple times to no avail. Luckily, the man who delivered my order came a few minutes before I was about to leave--so I thought it turned out okay. But oh no that wasn't the end of it. When I opened my order later that day to ensure the quality of the goods I ordered, the disposable vape pen, which came straight from its packaging, didn't work at all! $30 for a useless waste of plastic. Well since calling did not seem to work the first time around, I tried sending several emails to SDRC--and no surprise here, not a SINGLE REPLY. Okay well now it's already Wednesday/Thursday. I had to go out of town over the weekend--so I figured I'd just go to the store and physically return the expensive, useless piece of plastic that they sold to me for $30 claiming it was "disposable vape pen."So here I am, Tuesday Sept 16--physically in the store, risking my own personal health in the midst of a global pandemic--attempting to return the "disposable pen," receipt in hand.But if it were that easy, this wouldn't be a one-star review. Nope. Nah instead, they told me that because they don't know how people store these devices, etc., etc., they CAN'T ISSUE REFUNDS MORE THAN 24 HOURS LATER. But hey--they could offer me a 25% discount?? That's exactly what I wanted! A $30 25% coupon--that I could get pretty much any other dispensary just by signing up--cool!TLDR: Non-communicative dispensary that will mess up your delivery, deliver items that DON'T FUNCTION AT ALL (straight out of the packaging), not answer your calls/emails, and then smile in your face as they tell you your $30 can get you a nice coupon instead. In conclusion--I don't generally believe in leaving scathing reviews for a one-time bad experience, but their website claims to be the best dispensary in San Diego, and boy is that false advertising.Also--if you're going to employ fancy limited warranty language when speaking with customers, you should at least pretend you can also run a business.

Love that the staff are so welcoming and accommodating. Also was impressed that dogs are allowed in which is very much appreciated since I hate having to leave my small dog in the car. Every employee wears masks and are beyond friendly. Just be ready to have your ID ready right before you walk into the door. Look forward to their ample collections and products. They offer so much stuff that their menu is almost borderline overwhelming, but again the happy budtenders are always available to assist in answering any and all questions.
Great dispensary with fantastic and helpful staff. Whether you are looking for medicinal relief or just to have a good time, SDRC has got you covered. You will need to provide a valid ID (21 and older) and bring cash-they don't accept cards. There's a lovely display of plants being grown onsite. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate that while you wait in line (especially on a weekend), but don't worry, it moves fast.

Urbn Leaf is better. Hands down. SDRC the 4 times I have been is awful. Always feel rushed, and brushed off. They hide everything behind the counter, which is fine, but at least take time to talk about the products. The uses, and benefits. The parking lot is AWFUL! Small ass spots, and no one parks right. I'm just personally not a fan of this place. Urbn Leaf will get my business. Thanks anyway.UPDATE: the "Eternfl" carts I bought not even weeks ago, leak. They are leaking from the bottom. Healthy shopping at SDRC requires that you sample, of each product before you decide on anything. Wait at the counter in front of the salesman and his manager for at least 2 hours to insure each and every product you purchase will be beneficial to your body, mind and spirit. This is the fair way to shop at San Diego Recreational Cannabis off the HWY 8, in the heart of Mission Valle, San Diego, CA.
As a first time customer, I was impressed with the quick check-in and short line. Even though I generally prefer a dispensary where I can look around, read labels and check things out by myself, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially my awesome bud tender, Juan. After helping me find the right products, I realized I was a dollar short at check out. Without a second thought, Juan gave me a dollar of his own. He didn't have to, he could have done a number of different things, but his kindness really meant a lot to me especially in times like these. So thanks, Juan, the world needs more people like you! I'll definitely be returning for the excellent service, fast check-out, and convenient location. Bring cash if you don't want to pay an ATM fee (probably my only complaint about the place).
These people may have some of the wider selection of products but honestly this is the wal mart of dispensaries the cashiers are rude and always seem to either up sale me some stuff I wasn't interested in or just try and subtlety convince me that a more expensive item will get me higher. I come in with a budget I'm not going to spend more. I also recently learned that yes you can tip but for some reason management has the tip boxes hidden. Sneaky business practice with immature and inexperienced budtenders. Also the short manager kept eyeballing me weirdly so thanks for the prejudice treatment as well. Go to literally any other store this place smells and acts cheap.

First time customer. Placed an order (delivery)on Sunday morning. Delivery was quick and the driver was great. I didn't notice at the time but I was given the wrong CBD ratio for my dog. I called today and spoke to Karlton. I let him know what happened and that I did open the product . He let me know that I can come down today and get it exchanged. The place was very clean, social distancing, quick line and everyone had a mask on. Karlton even let his coworkers know that I was coming in so there was no questions. I appreciate the great customer service!
Terrible service and probably The worst stuff I've ever smoked(way to expensive for how bad it was) . The employees are all rude and don't seem to care about their customers at all. They constantly ignore their customers to talk to each other. I would recommend anywhere else but this dispensary.
Really great experience. I terrible insomnia and edibles has changed my life. The staff was very patient with me answering my first time questions. They had a great deal going on the day I was there too - make sure you ask what are the best prices you can get!I have visited several dispensaries and by far, this was the most organized one so far. There is parking in the back, an atm inside the facilities ( there are bank fees so if you can come with cash, way better). There is a line but it moves fast and they get you in and our very quickly. I wish there was a membership or frequent shopper kind of deal that you could get though. There is one dispensary closer to me that gives deals to loyal customers -- If you are apprehensive about going to a dispensary though- this is the one to go to. I have been to more than one that seemed shady and this one is as professional and clean cut as they go. They sell everything you can think of and are ready and willing to answer questions. Make sure you have your ID when you come over and cash and you are good to go!
Normally I'm a HUGE fan of this place come often. Today I put in an order online and I used my 20% off code. Waited about 2 hours still hadn't gotten a delivery time for my order but saw that had my order received called them and the phone was busy so figured they were busy. Another hour passed still nothing then called again this time got someone and they said they tried to call me twice. Never received a missed call or VM. He said he would have the next driver take my order out and I should have it within the hour. An hour passed still hadn't received my order. Called back again and now it was a new person. He apologized and said he would get it out. I told him I would just come down and get it at this point. When I got there the manager said all he could do was give me a free pre roll after waiting over 4 hours for delivery and then just driving down to the shop to pick it up myself. Today you guys lost a customer that would come in 2-3xs a week. That's not customer service at all. :(
This was my first time at this dispensary. Everyone was friendly and very knowledgeable! They offer a wide variety of oils, edibles, joints, capsules and so much more at fair prices. I will definitely return to this Dispensary.
Just when I thought this location couldn't get any better. Kenisha and Miguel provided top notch customer service and made my experience super awesome. They were friendly, informative, charismatic, and definitely had my best interests in mind. The renovation of the shop looks great. I'm glad SDRC is thriving and it's because they're the best dispensary in San Diego. They have a large selection of CBD and thc products there is little to no wait compared to other dispensaries. Great prices, good quality, efficient system. SDRC is definitely my top pick for when I'm considering going to a dispensary.

This place is great for people who know their stuff. The selection is amazing, but I have too many questions. I really needed someone to ask me "Can I help you?" which they don't have. You just get in line and tell the cashier what you want and pay for it. Like I said, great for people who know their stuff....not for me. I ended up buying a few things that are good, but not exactly what I wanted.
Ordered a few products for my husband's birthday. Used their online system but didn't receive any confirmation. About 8 hours later got a call that they were on their way. Delivery guy was nice.The rainbow belts are great, but one of the flavors was not the one I ordered. I also ordered two fizz drinks, and both were the wrong flavor and expired in January (over 3 months ago). Overall only 1/4 products ordered were correct and 2 were basically unusable due to being so old.
This place was awesome. I'm not from California and wanted to go to a dispensary for such a long time. It was incredibly cool and I loved how knowledgeable the staff was. The gummy's were great as well as the mints. I wish we could have this type of dispensaries everywhere. Thank you for helping me check off an item on my bucket list!
Bought a cartridge that was sealed. When I opened it nothing was in there (side note: check to make sure your product is in there). When I talked to the supervisor he said there is nothing that he can do and I had to contact the manufacturer because it was the brand's fault. What kind of customer service is that?! You guys are the vendor. You should deal with it, not your customer.
Worst delivery experience 2X in a row. Never again. 1: The first time was just a really long wait. I've gotten used to and accepted the already average 2hr timeframe of weed delivery but this was nearly 4hrs. Ugh but ok I tried them again...2: The second time was closer to 3 hrs so an improvement but when I opened the bag one item was not the correct product and the other was 5% below the advertised THC potency. I called immediately, the driver had just left. The employee was very defensive and uncooperative. He said that they make it very clear that they do not advertise potency (false, no reference to this on the web. I double checked) and when I asked what we can do about the product that was all together not what I ordered he put me on hold. I waited 3 minutes and hung up. Customer service has been brushed aside in an attempt to push more product and in this case has backfired greatly.

For the third time they sold me cartridges that don't work. I didn't even ask for a refund, I just tried to exchange a broken cart and the person working would not help me. He said I only had 3 days to exchange, which was never told to me the entirety of my time purchasing from there. So after me wasting my money to not get a working cartridge, I feel I was cheated out of my own money. And not given good customer service (cuz why wouldn't you exchange a broken product with a receipt a week later or tell me I only have 3 days) I won't be spending my money there again, cuz I was ripped off, and I will be spreading the word on now careless the staff was with me. Used to be my go to dispensary and I can't trust that my products will work or I'll be helped if they don't.

Pretty disappointed!! We have been dedicated to getting our cannabis from them since they opened. However, I'm not sure I can trust their product anymore. A few days ago we went in and asked for deals on edibles, a question we ask every time, after making our selection from one of their many deals, we went home and tried it. After a few hours of little to no affect we took another one. Totaling 10mg. We aren't weed everyday/even every week people so 5mg does the job, 10 if we want extreme affects. Two hours later... still little to no affect. The fact that neither of us felt high was annoying. So I decided to dig in the trash to look at the back of the package and realized this product was nearly 1 year old.. about a *month out from its expiration date. Well no wonder! You could blame us and say that we get what we pay for, but we ask for the deals each time we come in, and have never experienced this problem. Plus $12 dollars for mints... how much more would you charge?! I imagine the price was only marked down a few dollars.. Anywho with so much competition around, we'll easily find a new go too spot; they won't be sad to see us go. I'm just disappointed, because this location has great deals and such a welcoming staff. The 1 Star is for the production and my loss of trust... not for the staff members who are just doing their job. Get it together SDRC so we can find solace with you once again. *I tried to find the expiration date sticker however we threw it out... but since this happened just a couple days ago 2/13/2020 I'm sure that they are still currently selling them. The product is "Awakening, cannabis-infused Orange zest mints" (which are gross) the expiration was sonetime in early to mid March.
This is my favorite dispensary in San Diego.They always have a 10% coupon or $1 joint coupon the on front page of the San Diego city beat paper.I like to go in and ask the budtender for the $30 eights of indica. They usually have a nice little jar of frosty bud for me. They also have edibles, concentrates and topicals (lotions and bath soaks).I never leave empty handed and I would buy it all if I had unlimited funds! Make sure to bring cash! They are cash only

If you want to shop at a dispensary where they value customers and are willing to correct their errors, this is not the place. March and Ash is very close to this location and they have a better selection, a caring staff, and a better setup. Remember, you should value yourself, your time, and your money. Don't waste what you have worked for on a place that wants nothing more than to take.

I been coming here awhile and at first they were great. I like the fact that the prices are included in your purchase. You also get 10% off when you sign up for their rewards program. How ever there's been quite a handful of times that they have ran out of flower. What I also don't like is when the bud tenders try to upsell you.. they won't slow you deals unless you ask. There's always a long line, and your usually never just "in and out"
Solid people and service, but for the second time after I went in today I was shorted money. Receipt said I had given less money than I had actually given. My fault since, the experience is usually great so I didn't think to check my change or receipt right away. Don't know if I'll go back honestly.
So I normally go into the store but decided on delivery ..my 2nd time using delivery ..first time spot on ..this time not so much..was told it would be about an hour before i get my delivery and would be getting a text from the driver shortly ..1 he 45 min nothing ..call in to find out where my delivery is to be placed on hold for 6 min..to then be told the drivernhasnt come back yet for the next batch of deliveries but should be there soon and then it will be another 30 to 40 min for my delivery ..wtf??? She then told me they were short staffed on delivery drivers ..why not just tell me upfront...so i am able to decide if i still want it or fo somewhere else..This place is bomb if you go into the place but delivery is not so hot
I wanted a specific brand. I made a reservation and got an email saying it was ready for pickup. I drove 20 minutes to find out from the clueless counter person that they're out. He then tries to upsell me to brands i never heard of for $10 more. This is the 2nd time it's happened. I don't expect much from a bunch of potheads running a store but it's really not that hard. I will never return to this store. They might not realize but they're are plenty of other options.
Good staff. Great products. Feels a little like Costco. Very warehouse and get your stuff and go. Numerous checkouts with helpful tenders that are informative and welcoming.

Staff is generally all nice and there is a lot to choose from. They often run out of popular products and can't predict restock. Phone service could be a lot better. Every time I call and get asked to hold immediately, I get put on hold way too long I have to call back because a guy often forgets he puts people on hold. It's happened mutliple times to me in a row sometimes.. Lol.. Other friends have told me about that experience also. Haha it's funny but, still a good place to go to get some good hydroponics and it's a nice facility.
I am not a user of cannabis, but I took my cousins from out of town here to get some CBD products. They have a huge parking lot shared by many other establishments, and conveniently located in Mission Valley. When you walk towards the builing, you enter through a small narrow pathway up two staircases. I don't think its quite disability accessible unless there's another entrance.Upon entering, a security guard simply checks your ID's to make sure you're of age, and then you're free to roam.You basically line up and wait to talk to an employee.My cousins were new to this so I was hoping I would get a super out going employee to give us all the details, and make recommendations, but unfortunately the person we got seemed very nonchalant. But I did get to learn the difference between THC and CBD.THC gets you high. CBD does not. CBD prodcuts are more of muscle relaxers, I feel like.Anywho, we got some edible CBD gummies, a can for $17. Not bad.According to my cousin, they seem a bit on the weak side, may need to take a couple. Maybe I'll try some in the future.But overall, super clean establishment, quick and efficient. But could use more enthusiastic employees who are eager to tell you about their products.
Usual customer here at SDRC, my favorite sales reps have been Anthony and another one of the reps which I don't know his name but his energy is very contagious. They both bring very positive and welcoming vibes
DO NOT USE THE ATMS INSIDE!!! the prompt on the screen states that there is a $2.50-2.75 withdrawal fee but if you look at your bank statement you'll see they take advantage of your clicking yes and withdraw the $2.75 MULTIPLE TIMES. patheticI have also had problems with their carts as many others have, they most definitely mix in fraud product and ALL of the carts leak from the top and bottom
The staff is great! And always knowledgable. Donald and Karlton are the best I've had help me out at any dispensary. It's worth the extra drive time from La Mesa
Okay, THAT was super fun! My husband uses Cannabis for sleep and as we had traveled from out of state went to this dispensary I pick something up for our trip... I mean our adventure... I mean while we were in town. San Diego Recreational Dispensary was a wonder to behold. I felt like a kid in a candy shop and got great advice and service too. Washington State, we need one of these!
I've been here about 5 or more times & everytime I stop by I receive excellent customer service which is why I decided to leave a review today. From the security guards to the tenders everyone is always so friendly, upbeat & nice! There is this one particular girl I never got her name but she's really nice. Nick & Zaire are also amazing! They always give A1 service! Great selection & deals! Def check this place out!
Been a customer since they opened the Sorrento Valley location: really convenient, easy parking, rarely a line, and great cannabis-tenders. Tyler & Ryan helped me out today and were great with recommendations on flower and what deals they had going.. I'll be back there again soon..
*UPDATE*Tried their delivery service for the first time today, was not a good experience. You have to spend at minimum $50 to be eligible so be forewarned. I went ahead and ordered a bit extra, no problem there. I was told the item I wanted was $44 so I was a bit under what was needed so I told him to throw in a prerolled to take me over. He tells me my total was $56 and was told cash was the only option, just like in store. No problem. Made a quick run down to an atm, grabbed $60 (I never carry cash on me) and got back within the 1 - 1:30 delivery window. Driver didn't show up, call store. "Looks like we had an issue getting in touch with the previous customer. " no problem, I get business. Never going to get mad at a store being busy. I was told it was going to be 30 minutes more. Wait around and about 25 minutes later I get a call from the driver. "Hey man, on my way to you now! I should be there in about 10-15minutes." I sigh, but remember my rule. "No problem." Where things started going was when he showed up. I ran down to the dudes car cause parking sucks. Good enough guy, but after signed for the items I was told that it was $76. I explained that I was quoted $56 on the phone even explaining that's the reason for the pre-roll. Didn't care. Finally calls supervisor to get them to remove the item while I'm running back into my house to get $4 for the new total. I'm just sticking to coming in store from now on...*original review. 5/5*Best place to shop in SD for anything related with Cannabis. The staff is highly knowledgeable and able to provide expert recommendations around the different products that they provide. Rigo was the gentleman that helped me out on my most recent visit and he was extremely helpful in recommending products for my disabled mother. He was kind, respectful and extremely knowledgeable around the CBD product she was purchasing
Went in there the other day to buy 2/2 g cartridges.Told the people behind the desk I don't want any type of flavor . A few days later I opened up the second package. With nothing but disappointment. They sold me a half gram and it tasted like chai. Call to complain And their answer was sorry you already opened it. And I told him I pacifically asked for No flavored. Be careful what you bye there seems to be a little bit underhanded .

I purchased cartridges here a few days ago that leaked all over. Went in and sales associate said they weren't what I purchased, because they didn't have a certain sticker on the cartridge. Either they are selling counterfeit or old product. The manager Lavelle refused to even speak with me. Bummer deal since this has been my spot for a while. Too many places in town for questionable weed and bad service.
I LOVE this place by frankly am terrified for the people who work there. I was in the store and saw people leaning over the counters and taking their masks off to speak with the sales reps. I saw customers touch products and then rub their eyes. The rep I was speaking with who works there told me she is scared.The ATMs are all next to one another and there is no enforcement of distancing at the ATMs so people are literally standing shoulder to shoulder.The people who work there have no protection aside from the thin masks they wear. I would hope SDRC would install glass shields or require that people wear masks at all times in their store simply for the safety of the employees. I love this place but I do not feel safe in there and I am terrified for the employees.

This has to be the best dispensary that I've ever seen in life. Very clean and professional atmosphere with chill and knowledgeable staff. Variety, prices and sales are really nice and its centrally located. I had a very sour experience with an unsavory manager but I called the next day and was assisted properly by LJ. She really saved the day.
I've been to several dispensaries in several cities... Probably several times. SDRC is so what I love in a dispensary. It's pretty, organized, and well stocked, though you may want to call ahead if you'te looking for your favorite strain. The staff is pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable... And what I love is if they don't know the answer to a question they have no problem asking one of their co-workers.The prices are some of the best if not the best I've seen.I buy top shelf high thc high cbd and I'm very pleased what they the recommended every time.Special thanks to Tracy for helping me find just the perfect combination of flowers to set me up right.
Never have what they offer online. Every time I think they have what they post online they don't. And they want to push bull crap product. I'll definitely be looking for a new spot. Wish they had they old shops around still will not be going back. I don't recommend this place if you know what you're looking for. This place is for people who know nothing about herb. BE SURE TO LOOK AT YOUR PRODUCT BEFORE LEAVING! 7 out of 10 times you will leave with some shitty old product or even a defective product. They are still not listening to what people want. I have visited this place 3 times now. Every time they have been super helpful to me. I was looking for a specific product each time. Today Shanequa helped me find what I was looking for and she was beyond helpful! I was in and out in no time and I really appreciate the knowledge! I'll be back!
I like the prices, but some of their product is old. I bought a quarter ounce jar in late June... when when I got home the product smelled wrong. Based on the testing label it was packaged back in September....9 MONTHS ago. Not cool. Now I don't trust their budtenders.
Revising my rating down.Parking is a pita.Rarely have the strains from the online menu.Delivery takes forever and that's after you talk to the stoner who's apologizing for them not having what you ordered.Coupons only apply to in store purchases.
They made me wait around all day for an order that didn't exist. No one called me to update me after my confirmation email saying I would get a driver in two hours. After six hours I found out it was cancelled without my knowledge because they were out of stock. I had to be the one to call and find out, they couldn't email me or call me even tho they had my info. Super disappointing. These guys just don't care and they are disorganized.
I'm genuinely pleased that my visit today exceeded all expectations. Karlton was exceptional. From the moment I was greeted by him he displayed his personality which was wholeheartedly warm and welcoming. At the time of my visit this location was quite busy, with a line wrapping almost to the atm. Even with the chaos, He remained patient and took his time to answer all of my questions and offer recommendations. Moreover, I'm also very satisfied with the item he recommended!! Overall, I had a wonderful experience!
Miguel & Kennisha were like rays of sunshine. I went in early, around 10am. Was 2nd in line. They greeted me with enthusiasm and helped me quickly narrow down my choice. I walked out smiling because of the service. Was out in less than 10 mins.Online ordering with delivery is also a great option, but I think they are still working out kinks in that process. When it works, it's awesome to have it delivered when my schedule is tight.
Karlton was an incredibly knowledgeable bud tender who was very helpful. He made my entire experience pleasurable and will definitely be coming back.
I've purchased from here a few times and will be back. I usually prefer going in to pick up or purchase in-store considering how close it is to me. Even with a line the service is pretty fast. If they're out of stock for something I've ordered they will call to see what I'd like to substitute it for, as well as offer recommendations and are upfront about any price differences. What stands out the most about this dispensary is the customer service, and that is what will keep me coming back. I want to especially shout out Troy and Kim for their kindness, understanding, and willingness to help & satisfy customers. They're knowledgeable about their product and exceed all expectations. Thank you!
SDRC is/was, as far as I know the only San Diego dispensary taking card as a form of payment. They are basically splitting the fee with the client as a courtesy function. I'm not sure how that all works for them, but in this cash game it's a standout feature. I hear this feature is going away while a new bill is introduced to the state assembly. The other things that stand out is the parking. Some of the worst around, and not much better when it was just the gym/shops/car rental. Now you have a steady flow of maybe 20-30 cars an hour. Uber in/uber out. Size, it's a large square footage with maybe 8 stations, lots of windows and tv screens. They are progressive in keeping all the stations close to identical, but they just fail, coming in for a specific product has service people scrambling down each station looking for things. Service, I wouldn't even call them weedtenders, I felt like it was more a best buy vibe, definitely sales people. Not only are all the stations never fully manned or stocked, but most transactions take a few minutes, but for some reason here it's always some delay. I didn't feel like I was tended to, but rather rung up. They have a solid selection, but really jam pack things since they are trying to get flowers, edibles, tinctures, extracts, prerolls, etc all in a glass case. You register at the front desk, security will let you in, they are armed, but inconspicuous for the other guests in the center (gym shops). I don't recall getting wanded or going thru a metal detector. Once you are through, you have to find a person, rather than are greeted and walked in. I like that about other shops. Prices are pretty good, but I find that their bags are small, not much bigger than a flavrx edibles bag. Most use a larger bag.Prices are good, but from my opinion there are certain brands that they carry that others don't and visa versa. Select CBD is big for them, they don't carry much of the PAX pods styles. They do offer a lot of edibles from some big companies, but don't offering anything in the savory category, everything is candy/dessert, sweet. I wish the menu was a little better curated for products. Sometimes it's not about price, but quality. Sure you can get some .5g cartridges for $25, but it's gonna clog and you won't be able to vape the whole thing. I'd rather pay $70 for a Heavy Hitter 1g that won't do that and has an open draw. This is where companies could have learned more from the vape world. They have a lot of product, but nothing that brings it's own name and sells itself. They probably get good deals from the bigger distro companies and overstock some items and forget about everything else. All in all there are pluses and minuses here and overall it's ok, others have set the bar high. Bad parking and no delivery really hurt them.
Actually the store and staff are top notch. They are my favorite dispensary. My beef is with the coupon texts. I obviously want the coupons. The problem is they send the once or twice a week at 8:30-8:45 am. It's infuriating to be woken up by them every time. It's not ok to send these out before business hours. And think about your clientele. We are generally not up at the crack of dawn. I'm sure some marketing genius thinks it's best to get people before they go to work. It is not. I would be happy to change my review as soon as I receive a text after 10am. For now I'm only sad I couldn't give you less than one star.

Ohhh my goddd, I am SOO PISSED!!I bought a KNBIS Liquid Butter-Indica pre roll a few days ago. I'm on a business trip and need it to sleep and once I opened it, THERE WAS NO ROLL! I was not only jipped out from my money, but desperately needed a smoke after an entire day of work + 4 hours of driving ONLY to come empty handed. Son of a bitch. This is so unbelievably shitty.

Good place lines move fast - Loyalty program not the best though you get 10% off after spending so much but then you can't use on specials which would be nice if you can use w/0 stipulations since tax is 14% - the 10% would surely help.I'd give 5 stars if better incentive for loyalty...
I was very satisfied with my visit here. At first I was a little unsure because the entry way is just a door leading to some stairs in between two other stores. Being a person who watches a lot a movies it's seen sketchy lol but I got over it. Went up and it was like walking into marijuana heaven. There was a guy to check your ID then an couple atms inside for your cash needs. And a line next to that. The line went pretty quick which was awesome, probably waited for 7 minutes if that. Then the lady who helped me was pretty awesome as well. She was patient and very helpful and went over all the different things I was looking for. I felt comfortable, treated respectfully and not rushed at all. I think it was her kindness that made me want to buy more . Next time I'm in San Diego I definitely plan on returning. The prices are also very fair for everything I got. Can't wait to return
I ordered an oz of animal cookies and as you can see in the attached picture, 2 of the jars are of the wrong strand. On top of that, it was supposed to be $190 an oz but got charged $230 oz...This was a super annoying and unpleasant experience.
I was worried the process would be arduous but it wasn't. Walk up the stairs, they scan or swipe your identification, and you proceed to the line to speak with a sales person. The security used a metal detector on me as well but my clothes were baggy.Karlton waved me over, answered my questions, recommended some products, and I was out of there. Very easy!!!
I can honestly say this location is clutch. Very fast and smooth no long waiting times at all. A lot to choose from with a lot of variety. One thing that stands out the most is staff, my favorite guy to work with is DONALD! This man will ask you your budget, how you feel and recommend the perfect flower for you. Always says within your range and i always feel better after my purchase. Appreciate you my guy

As someone who isn't used to these types of places, I was confused upon going in. The place is clean and big and we didn't have any trouble finding an open register. The employees were nice and inviting, too. When I went up to the register, I explained to the guy what I was looking for and he helped to suggest maybe one or two things. He was nice and pretty knowledgeable, but I had to ask a lot of questions before getting exactly what I wanted. Like I left with something that was kinda what I wanted but he didn't really give many options per se he would just recommend something and it was my responsibility to lead the way from there. Seems like they have a pretty good selection here. Not sure about price since I'm not frequenting these places.
I always get the baller jar. This time i got delivery and the driver has opened my jar and pintched my sac. the jar has a sticker seal on the side and mine was broken weighed it 1 gram short never again
Maybe I am just used to purchasing in my home state and the hands on experience. We felt rushed through and our budtender was not friendly at all. Really killed the whole experience and reason for one star. We felt very rushed and it seemed bothersome we weren't ready right away when called. I ended up just ordering pretty much blindly to get out of there ASAP. I ender accepting what the tender just grabbed and threw in the bag with no details offered up or welcomed when ordering. Guess you need to make sure you know exactly what you want in advance to avoid the sour attitude from the staff. Will find a new place for any future purchases.

This place blew my mind. It's a very well stocked dispensary with vibrant marketing for the products they sell. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable, and the process is quick and easy. They have everything that you can imagine, conveniently organized in their menu: Flower, edibles, vapes, wellness, etc. They even sell plants. In general, I was impressed by the appearance of the store, the service, the atmosphere and the variety of products. I'll definitely be back here.
Karlton was awesome, he was my budtender when I went to pickup, he knew exactly what I was looking for and even recommended some cartridges I've never thought about trying. This is the only dispensary I've ever gone to and will ever go to. A+ service and efficiency. Never have to wait longer that 10 minutes even on a busy day.

This was an enjoyable experience. I brought a friend from out of town and we explored. We had great customer service from Karltin who had great suggestions after telling him what we were looking for. They have clones too. Wow, what a great find. The only thing I didn't like was the product was all packaged up where you can't smell are really look at what your getting. You have to rely on your host.

I head over to SDRC every Wednesday to treat myself. Donald helped me out, and I can't explain enough how great of service I got from him. I explained the amount of money I wanted to spend and I high level of what I wanted. He was able to find it all within my budget, fresh product, and high thc levels. Thank you Donald.
Go to Apothekare. I can't speak to March & Ash, but I can say that of all the stores on this strip in Mission Valley, this one neither has the best deals nor the best product. The staff is not friendly and while they will answer any questions you ask, they never offer you more info than they have to, and they try to do whatever they can to make their sale. Just go to Apothekare. I messed up today and went to SDRC because i didn't realize Apothekare opens at 10am on Sundays instead of 9am. They will call you personally and let you know when they have what you want, they are nice in the store, and their product is better. plain and simple don't waste your time here.
Truly love it here! The selection is awesome, the tax/prices aren't crazy, and the staff is super helpful. This is my new go-to spot, and it's in an easy location! Chris was the one to help me out last time, and his suggestions and knowledge allowed me to have a great experience! I will definitely be back :)

I love this shop. I understand hospitality but sometimes the talking can be a bit much . Miguel has disappointed me multiple times . Rude about coupons . And yesterday he told me i was beautiful( Don't mind compliments but I'm just here to shop) , commented on my tattoos & began to show me his all over his body ( gross dude ) . Then touched my phone ( WTF COVID ?), pressed back on my coupon ( which can only be redeemed once ) .... he is always on his phone . Condescending and just plain gross ! Other than that , i come for the weed , Big L & Deals !!!
decided to try SDRC for the first time and for delivery, ordered online at 11:30ish having heard nothing about ETA I called after 2 hours (1:30) to be told the order was just picked up by the driver but cannot say how long until delivery, driver calls at 2:20 to say he'd be another 30-40, driver calls again at 3:15 to say it would be another 10-15, arrives 3:40 asking for $100, my total online was $85, he said call store who then told me it didn't include the taxes, yet taxes are a line item on the subtotal area, mgr would not honor internet price so I declined delivery, hope I save someone else from this disappointment (see attached snap of email, also shows it as a pickup)
I have been a customer of SDRC since they have opened. They have very fast service and great advice and knowledge of you're looking or just interested in asking questions. I would recommend visiting and checking SDRC out yourself! It has everything you would need! I appreciate the assistance and service I received especially today from Donald! This place has a big selection. I was bummed they were sold out of all but one of the local grown pre rolled sativa joints. Other than that I was happy with it and would gladly go again for more bud.

The two women who greeted my friend and I were awesome. I am only giving 2 stars for that reason.The curly haired guy who helped me pick the prerolls I wanted was friendly enough. The irritating part happened when he walked away and then another guy (who also obviously was high as fuck. I know it's a Cannabis club, but seriously...) who was at the register asked if we needed help. I said no, the curly haired guy helped me. Then with a snappy attitude, he said that curly hair guy was just helping me get the product and he would ring me up. The curly haired guy never said anything about that. So then I'm like... okay? He rings me up and then I asked if they had a lighter. He said "No, we really don't have any right now. (Now with an attitude) How could you not have a lighter?" And then I snapped back with "This is a cannibuis club... how could YOU not have any lighters?" He continued to say some shit to me and then I cut him off and started walking out.Would not recommend this place based off of my experience with him. However, the facility is really clean and some of the other employees actually have good customer service and don't come in high as fuck, incapable of doing a good job.
I have been to virtually every dispensary in SD, & SDRC is the best UNEQUIVOCALLY!! The tax is already included in the menu pricing, not to mention their menu is huge and even includes Lagunitas beer! Everyone here exudes hospitality & knows exactly how to find what suits your needs. My girl Kim is so friendly and knowledgeable, and truly made my experience memorable. Go say hi to her!!!
4 star rating only because parking is terrible. Other than that they carry a wide variety of options from vape, flowers and edibles. The staff is very knowledgeable on the product and very patient while you make your decision. Cash only business. I highly recommend this spot for all your high life needs.
Just dont order from this place...1. What ever they have in their menu is never on stock they will comenout with some BS excuse why they dont have what you want 2. What ever they send you is either moldy or dry AF. 3. They. Will come out with what ever excuse so they wont deliver your order. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for the fourth time and they cannt fullfill the manage to get their ooeration straight up. Dont waste your time and your money with them. Such a disappointment. Regular Customer been shopping here for my cannabis needs since the legalization started in 2018. Truly love ALL the staff. Starting to know first name basis with some and some even come say hi even if I'm not at their station! Every one of the staff is always happy and upspirited and incredibly helpful always offering choices whether I'm buying flower, edibles, pen equipment or pre-rolls. They treat me good whether I spend five dollars or a lot more. The products they offer are always high quality and the recommendations are trustworthy. And WOW the location just keeps getting radder and radder !! Awesome place!! This really sets the bar for how Cannabis shops should be. They should all be looking up to SDRC. Amazing clean bright space. To a non-user like me it seems they sell everything and the prices seem to be reasonable. Staff friendly and helpful. Would rate higher, but two major issues.1) The parking is a nightmare. They share a parking lot with a gym and at peak gym hours (5-7PM) there are dozens of meatheads circling looking for parking. It really adds 15 minutes to your experience looking for a place to park.2) No credit cards? Seriously?!? What year is this? Go ahead and give me the rap about banks not wanting to do business with the industry, but that's all bullshit. Dispensaries in the Bay Area take credit cards just fine, and head shops have been doing it for years. You are making enough dough - throw money at the problem and solve it. I am sure it's way more about having ATMs on site so they can gouge for an extra $3 per customer in ATM fees. I mean, what are you gonna do after you drive over, spend 15 minutes finding parking, stroll in and see the CASH ONLY sign? Leave? Go hit your bank ATM across the 8? Nope, you are gonna do what I did, suck it up and pay $3 to take out $100. SCAM!So, this place is close to work and will do in a pinch, but I will have to try other places in town and home delivery before I could recommend.
This dispo is incredibly well kept and the staff actually know wtf they are talking about. They are very helpful and kind, it's the perfect place for first timers. They are totally not condescending if you don't know what you're looking for and take your needs highly into consideration. We had the coolest guy help us named Eddie, be sure to ask for him when you stop in!
I just turned 21 and it was my first time going to a dispensary. I first called to get information and the woman who answered was so kind and reassuring. Then Jesse was super helpful in breaking down the products and really listened to what I wanted. A wonderful first of many visits!!!!
The Staff is very accommodating which starts at the top. The manager of this facility flat out get's it done!I had a small issue with a vape cartridge - been having them. They now offer "smart" vape pens that read the need. And they gave me a refund for my trouble. *****

I wanted to go to a new dispensary and checked out the reviews for this place. The environment is very clean and I felt very comfortable. It's easy to check in with the guard and they took my ID to scan it then he just said stand in line to wait for the next associate. Jessie was very helpful for answering all my questions. He made me feel welcomed and his high energy was very encouraging to come back! Thank you for making me feel welcomed! The prices are fairly reasonable and they have deals!
Moved here from Minnesota and went to SDRC for the first time today and was helped by Donald & was more the pleased with the entire experience. I told him what I was looking for and it was like he already knew me lol I told him I wanted to spend a certain amount and ended up spending more and I'm happy I did. This place is popular for a reason. We got got great stuff and the selection was huge. But the guy who helped us didn't mess around and gave us exactly what we asked for without any fluff or tedious questions. This place is no patients collective. It's about the cash and the variety. You won't get your hand held and have long conversations but you will get the latest stuff at great prices for whatever you are into. Loved coming here and will for sure be back next time we are in town.

Travis and Jesse (Sorrento Valley Location) made my whole August! The battery I have been using wasn't able to heat up the cartridge I purchased, so when I went in wondering why it wasn't working - they guided me through what could be going wrong with the device/battery. I ended up keeping the same cartridge I bought earlier since they hooked me up with a free battery THAT DID WORK!!! Nicest thing a bud tender has ever done for me, thanks guys! I'll be back soon.
The only reason I give SDRC even one star is good deals they have. Other than that, they provide the worse service I ever experienced. Regularly! Their sales team is not knowledgeable, they become irritated if you ask information about strains , if you ask for a specific strain they will tell you they don't have it; since I was surprised that they don't have anything I asked for I made a comment and it turns out they only don't have it at that person's station!!After I realized that, the guy was so angry that I asked him to check other stations!!! Really?? It's to much for them to walk two feet? I always feel rushed, uncomfortable, frustrated. If you know your weed and if you are a connoisseur THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR YOU!!! They will try to sell whatever, and sell it FAST. There are many people with serious conditions, people that live with chronic pain, novices without any previous knowledge and experience, and it sucks that they are treated in a disrespectful manner. It could be that many of their customers believe that this is the dispensary experience that is common, that that's just the way it suppose to be. But it is not! SEND YOUR EMPLOYEES TO URBAN LEAF TO LEARN PROFESSIONALISM AND MANNERS! Also, what's with those nasty little cheap bags they send u out with? Have you seen bags of every other dispensary? They are always sealed as they're supposed to be under Cali law. If I were the owner, I would be ashamed. What a circus!!!
I just love this place. Soooo many selections to choose from, like a Walmart for weed. Extraordinarily clean environment, not seedy (like so many of the others) where you feel the cops may come bursting in at any moment. They also have discounts for the retired Military and Seniors. The Staff are friendly and extremely patient, ask for Ozzie, he'll break it all down for you.Easy access off the 8-West, or East. Plenty of parking. Plenty of Security too counted three men. They used to take credit cards, but have not for some time I'm afraid, better bring cash, but they also have a cash dispenser on the premises, second floor, elevator available too.

I ordered delivery through them. Not sure if they have been sitting on supply cuz of the covid-19 or whatever. But the weed was super dry and tastes burnt. I called them to see if I could exchange it or get a refund. That's not their policy. Good thing there's plenty of other dispensaries.
This is the largest dispensary in San Diego and features the best prices. All budtenders are very knowledgeable of the products and help with the shopping decision. Would recommend to everyonePatty is specifically a great assistant everytime I come in.

Wow! This place is so busy! But the line goes by super fast, everyone is really nice and helpful here! I picked up a couple items for my trip while I was down there and had a blast! The parking is super small in the front - and there was parking in the back that we found. Good times!

Quick and easy experience. The menus are overwhelming so I always just refer to the tender. Donald was super cool and gave good options to choose from and let us know of specials we could benefit from. Don't forget it's cash only, but if you do there are ATMs inside.
Absolutely love this place. So much better than all the sketchy places in Spring Valley that have weirdos working the door and asking for your number. I moved out here from LA so it's hard to find a place that beats the prices for dank bud but SDRC has taken the cake! And Max is a super cool dude and is probably my favorite because his mustache holds all the worlds knowledge of cannabis. Totally worth checking out and they don't bitch about you bringing your pet! Which is why they got 5 starts even though their parking sucks lmao but it's California so quit your bitchin!

Sales staff is very helpful and selection of product is great. Always find some of the best higher end products here and I'm totally willing to pay the extra $ for quality products. The security is usually very friendly and the line is never too long. My one issue is that whenever I buy stuff, the sales staff calls over for a discount, when the manager comes they are almost never in a good mood and usually harass me as to why I have a discount. Most of the time I don't even know why I have a discount but I'll usually buy a decent amount of stuff and I guess they include a free pen when you buy certain products (CRU, Jetty). Honestly though guys, if anyone is reading this, those free pens keep me coming back. It's the little thing that those sales people do that keep me coming back to spend a premium price on bud when I know I can get it at a cheaper price elsewhere. So next time a manager comes and harassed me about saving $12 on my $300 purchase I'll find another place to go.

I placed an online order on 6-10-19 and received an email confirmation stating: "Thank you for choosing SDRC! Your order is being processed. You will receive another email notification when your order is ready for pickup or out for delivery, depending on the option that you selected. This should take no longer than 2 hours." It's now after 11:00 p.m. on 6-12-19 and I've heard nothing from the company. I'm happy to update this review should I hear anything.
I've been coming to this place sense they've opened. I've always been happy with them. Great selection and quality. Plus they have a great staff. However, there's one of them I would like to acknowledge and thats Donald. He is always in a great mood, knows the products throughly, helps guide me through the current deals for the best experience. He really is the example of great customer services.
I'm a local, and I use this place all the time in person. First time ordering delivery because I'm home with a fever and needed something for pain relief that is natural. Placed an order for delivery that stated it would be here within 2 hours. 3 hours later, made a phone call and said he'd check on the driver. Another hour goes by, I call, he said driver is out for delivery. Another 30 minutes goes by, call again, checks on the driver and says 10 minutes. Stayed home sick today, it is now past 8pm, I was planning on being asleep by now so I could feel better for an early work day. Still up, waiting for delivery. Offered to go pick it up. No offer to comp this order or throw in something free, or any customer service considerations. Very disappointed by the lack of remedy.

Chris, is amazing he really heard me out and settle an issue I had with one of my orders. It was my 2nd trip to SDRC and when I left I swore I wouldn't come back . I thought my day was ruined and after a long day of working as a barista and tending to foreign customers the least I was expecting when coming to the dispensary was leaving with some stuff I wanted. After going back and speaking with Chis ( the manager? ) (if he's not he needs a raise!) I left feeling taken cared of as a customer should. Definitely coming back.
Horrific experience with their delivery. They made me wait for 4 hours after I called in twice to confirm that the order was ok and was assured that they were on their way. At 8:45pm, I call them for a 3rd time and was informed that unfortunately they would not be able to complete my order due to a lack of inventory. Something they neglected to inform me the previous 2 times I called in. I do not recommend this establishment. Piss poor service.

Do not purchase from this dispensary. The store looks great and it is very clean. But this company does not stand behind their products. Yesterday I purchased a very high end CBD tincture for pain. I took one dose and about 10 minutes later got a very bad headache. This will happen with CBD with poor quality strains. The box and the price were very fancy, but the product was no good. We returned the next day for a product exchange. Upon requesting return, we were told there was no returns on tinctures and offered a discount on another product (15%?). Garbage. I called on the phone and spoke with Oz who claimed to be a manager and he basically said the same. I let him know how disappointing it was. This store follows regulations, and it should be treated as seriously as cosmetics or other retail product. Wasted 60 plus dollars. Stand behind your products!!! The sales people should be trained and return policy should be stated. STAY AWAY!

Here's the thing... I'm a long term Apothecare customer and tried to branch out with this location a few months back, but I've had nothing but problems from the get go. First, they had product I was use to, but it was being held for the expansion wing of their business to open so they couldn't sell me what I showed up looking for (even though an associate informed me that they had plenty being held for their opening of the new wing). Secondly I purchased a PAX vape cartridge from here and tossed the receipt expecting the product to work. The cartridge ended up not working, so I returned to see if they would do anything; trade for flower, store credit, etc. They refused to do anything without a receipt and I paid cash, so I've officially lost all trust and respect for this location. Any business that offers to pay customers for reviews by supplying free product should get exactly what they ask for... a negative review bc they are a shady business. If this review remains, management has not done anything to resolve my concerns.
I'm sure they have some good quality products here but the pens they carry are terrible! I had a Brass Knuckles pen that I loved but it stopped working out of no where. When I took it back to return it I was told they no longer carry that brand because the company went under...something along those lines. I asked the guy which pen he recommended and he told me the brand Rove. Had it for a few months, charged/stored it exactly like he told me to but now it's not working properly. It got so hot one day that it burned my lip. The wax/juice was also coming out of the top of one of the cartridges and leaking from the bottom. When I took the Rove pen back he said they couldn't do anything about it. They can only take back products that are defective when you first purchase them. So they're quick to recommend "good quality pens" take your money but then when there's an issue there's nothing they can do about it. I mean at least give me store credit or something. And I know it's not the specific cartridge I'm using because I've tried Rove, Outco and Brass Knuckles and all 3 cartridges aren't working. The Rove pen aka battery is the problem. I will be going to the Outco dispensary to buy a new pen from them instead!

Orlando was one of the most knowledgeable person I have encountered in a while. It is rare to find somebody so passionate which made this experience awesome. Any questions I had, was answered promptly and the suggestions were on point. It was nice conversing with someone so woke and enlightened with an unbias view, it made my shopping experience delightful. With so many competitors out there, service is something that can make the difference. He is a gem and deserves the recognition he deserves. The product here is premium at a fair price and I highly recommend this place to anybody that needs their meds or just want great service.

SDRC has a huge variety of products and they always have really rad specials going on! This was one of my first dispensaries I went to when I first moved to California and it has been so great ! I love stopping by, asking the budtenders about their selection, and trying out new products !
First time in San Diego and I made sure to stop by based on reviews. This was also my first time in a dispensary so that was cool too. The overall look and feel of the environment is chill. I knew I wanted edibles and the guy helping me was so laid back and knew exactly what I should try. If you're in San Diego and looking for a cool dispensary this would be the place.
Big and bright, great selection! Lots of registers. They don't register you in any system, just check your ID like you're buying liquor. However, when I tried to redeem one of the specials they had on their wall (and had a similar one on Weedmaps) for a free edible with a review, and they told me they weren't honoring that deal any more, even though it was posted on their wall as he told me this, saying that the products on special had expired 3 days ago and no one had noticed til now.

Great outlet for recreational cannabis. Easily accessible, friendly staff, lots of options. Quality is average. Asked a few technical questions and received some attitude that was unnecessary. More so the answers were inaccurate. In conclusion a great spot to get what u need at all times. If your looking for artisanal flower probably shouldn't be your be your first stop. If it is a Sunday at 7pm go there.

This is hands-down the best place in town. The selection is great and the service is second to none. Oz and his crew provided me top-notch customer service when I brought in a defective cart from another dispensary and they switched it out no questions asked no problems. I need a particular strain, so I check the website of dispensaries before going. I was able to order the strain I needed from the website and got an email saying they'd email me when it was ready for pick-up, in 2 hours. Most places have difficulty updating their websites, so I tried to call, but couldn't get through. After 3 hours without any email from them, I dropped by since I was nearby. Turns out that they don't have the strain at all! The next day, I got an email saying my order was ready, so I called. Nope, they still don't have the strain. Don't bother with them, especially if you know what you want.

Dude. The selection was massive. They have so much stuff I kind of glimpsed the menu and didn't even know what to choose. That takes off a star, because I felt super overwhelmed and had to get in line before it became rush hour. Other than that, the budtender was so nice and helpful! I love my pens & pre rolls!

I really liked this place. Parking was easy and the location was really central. All the staff I encountered were very friendly. This is my first visit to a Cannabis store since it became legal in Cali. The staff was knowledgeable and took the time to answer questions. Beware they only accept cash, but they conveniently have an ATM you can use if needed. Bonus, I discovered they offer free delivery which is awesome! I will definitely be using that feature in the future. They have so much stuff to check out. Definitely recommend a trip to this store.

I called in a phone order at 5 pm. I spent 10 minutes just trying to place the damned order. Between the terribly windy, white noise-laden landline connection, the insistence that I be put on hold multiple times apparently because the phone operator was busy doing things other than taking my phone order, and the several call-backs just to talk to a human being, I had my doubts about the reliability of the place.More than 3 hours later, 15 minutes before the store was to close, I get a call: "Sorry. We can't make your delivery tonight."When I asked why, I got the usual non-answer: "I can't say for certain."They wasted my whole evening and then had the audacity to call and ask that I order again in the morning (at 9 am) when they open again. When I questioned them about the promptness of a morning delivery, they guy on the phone couldn't even promise that our order would be one of the first to be processed.Typical fucking stoner incompetence.Plus, the website's "inventory" is a total fucking joke. They don't have 90% of the "product" listed on the site. You have to get a verbal confirmation from the phone operator as to what they actually have in stock.A total WASTE OF TIME.Avoid.

The last couple of times I've been here my 3.5 gram jars have only been 2.9 and 3.1 according to my very tight scale. The jars had broken seals and I feel like I was shorted. I'm heading to Med Men now.
Alfie is amazing!! I went in for pax pods and he was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I was getting a lot of pods and all different kinds so he had to do a little digging to find all the ones I wanted. While I was waiting I noticed a dog inside and I told him I didn't know they allowed dogs; that I left my pup in the car and felt bad. He literally ran the rest of the time to get me back to my pup faster! Couldn't have had a better experience! Thank you Alfie!
This is 100% my favorite dispensary in SD. They have great deal, their staff is always helpful, and it's huge and clean. Parking can be tough, but not the end of the world. I've been to quite a few but this one always stands out as it pertains to value and service.

I had a store I was very loyal to and was scared to try a new place. Since I moved to Mission Valley I wanted to try a new place that was more convenient for me. I was really impressed with the selection and service at SDRC. I also was impressed with the help I received every time I've been into the store and everyone there is very friendly and seems very knowledgeable. The other day I went in and had the pleasure of having Gio help me, he had helped me once before and remembered my concerns. He helped me with a cartridge that I thought was broken but he showed me how to prep it and use it. I used to go to my other store because I felt that they had the best selection and prices. But now I will go to SDRC mecause they have better prices than my old store an amazing selection and it's never too busy or crowded!
My first time in today, wish they had better parking, tight small spots. I told them it was my first time there, but no real interest from the cashier. 2 of the 4 things I had seen that day one their website were out of stock. I purchased x2 Plus Gummy tins, online they're listed for $17, when I got home and looked at the receipt, they charged me $20 each, overpaid by $6! LAME! Please fix your pricing!
To whom it may concern, As a regular patient at your company, I am dismayed by the deteriorating level of service from your employees. In fact, I am sending you this letter to complain about the bad service that I have received from your manager named Ryan. On Monday, July 2 at 6:30 pm which spoiled my whole experience. I was greatly disappointed in how I was treated due to your staff lack of customer service. I came in to exchange a cartridge that did not work that I bought in your company. After waiting more than 15 minutes I wondered what the problem was. The cashier let me know that "the managers were figuring it out" as I'm still waiting another sale clerks barges in and tells me what he "overheard" the managers saying that they won't be able to help me. Now, This is very disappointing since I can see there's is no patient confidentiality in your business. After waiting longer, the manager walks up and tells me with a passive aggressive tone that he can exchange the cartridge. After thinking everything might run smoothly the manager starts explaining the reason why the cartridge didn't work was because of my negligence. Even after they all tried the cartridge and saw it didn't work they still blamed me. What kind of customer service is this? Blaming customers? After him completely ignoring everything I said I politely asked for his business card and he then handed me a sticker. I asked for his full name he left, came back and scribbled on a sticker and wrote "Ryan" I asked for his last name and he completely became aggressive after this point and told me he didn't have to do anything for me. How is this possible that this person is a manager in your establishment? After me only asking for his name he told me I had to leave and went to get security to escort me out. Confused and embarrassed I looked to find help with another manager named Chris. He was frantic and didn't know how to respond. I clearly didn't get escorted out because I wasn't doing anything wrong. As Chris was trying to calm the situation Ryan was yelling saying "you welcome, I did what you asked" during this whole time Ryan is covering his badge. How can a manager that has formerly been thoroughly checked to sell your product can cover his batch like that? What kind of business are you running?The behavior of one member of the staff should not reflect on the rest of the company. Thus, if you may so kindly look into the behavior of this person to make sure that an incident like this does not happen again, as it will be such a shame to have the reputation of the company tarnished by a bad service from a single employee.I want to thank you in advance for investigating on this matter further. They do NOT take cards anymore. First they said it was down, and then today I got the real story. Something about the company asking about their business license then they were discriminated against or something. I don't believe that one bit. If a merch dude at a seedy dive bar can take card then your business in a boujee strip mall can take card. They say, "oh CA is starting a weed bank so we will take card soon" . . .what? Yeah, the bill just got introduced to the Assembly, I'm sure that will help me out in a few months or year, and how the fxxk does that translate to taking cards again?!Anyway, beyond that they are not very friendly & always try to up sell ya. Most of their "deals" which are not that great already, are gone, so they will sell ya something spendier and without even asking if it's alright. "Oh that will be $60 . . .for an 1/8?!"Sadly, all this considered I've been here like 5 times or more because everything else is delivery, med card, or even further from me. Ugh. I cannot wait until there are more recreational (non-delivery only) places near me (i.e. in the city proper, not in mission valley). Fellow yelpers, hmu with a dm if ya know any!
The only options they have for less than $75/quarter are dry and shaky - and they're out of even those most times but will gladly upsell you. Time to find a new option.
Great supply and friendly people, but DO NOT GET DELIVERY SERVICE. It was my first delivery experience with them and definitely the last until they figure out a better system. They say deliveries will not take longer than 2 hours so I ordered at 6:56pm, which is just over 2 hours before they close, and I even called sometime after 7pm just to confirm everything and was told that the order was received and good to go once their delivery guy came back.I called 10 minutes before they closed at 8:50pm just to check on the order since I didn't receive any email notification about my order on its way yet and they said they couldn't deliver tonight and were going to deliver in the morning. Also, they tried to tell me that they didn't receive my order until 8pm, which is a joke since I talked to someone around 7pm who confirmed my order and I even have the email from 6:56pm. Few problems here:1) If it's that close to closing time and you weren't going to deliver my order then you should probably give the customer a better heads up rather than them having to call after 2 hours.2) It's NOT ok to automatically assume that next day morning is ok3) Clearly there's a communication issue regarding their delivery system and they should have orders show up in their system at the same time an email notification is sent to the customer confirming their delivery.Long story short - go to their actual location if you're to make a purchase. Don't even bother with their delivery system until they use a more structured system/vendor. They shouldn't even have it. Use Eaze if you're looking for a more reliable delivery service
The first time I wrote a review I gave this site 5 stars, after all I was able to order online and pick up in store. I only had to wait about 10 minutes and everyone was really pleasant. Today I got to pick up my order and the young man at the counter doesn't know how to look up the online order, OK.... new employees are rarely trained completely in retail, no big deal. He asks the man walking around checking inventory for assistance, his response was "is it a big order", we can just pull it for you now if you remember. Sorry, actually I didn't, so I only bought 1 item instead of the 4 or 5 I had ordered. Why bother having online ordering if you aren't going to check them or pull them?

Not the best customer service over the phone. Yelp doesn't take you to the delivery option part of the website. When called, was able to troubleshoot it, but at the same time he was hurrying me up to get off phone, which was not appreciated. Delivery person was great, polite, and informative. You know this place has good Cannabis when you can smell it just by driving by. I was finally able to come and check it out and it had the best vibes of all San Diego in my opinion. The security wasn't so high strung, they had menus posted with multiple deals making it easier to select something. Tracy was awesome and helped me get some good savings and great flower. Definitely will be back! The beautiful little grow room was such a plus to see also. Four stars just because I think there could be a wider selection of products.

SDRC was my first time going to a dispensary, I've never smoked before and had no idea what to expect. I spoke with a staff member regarding the intention for my visit; he was very friendly, provided me with a variety of items that would suit my needs, and made the overall experience less intimidating. I will certainty be coming back for more items!
Geo, Kyle, and Daniel at SDRC were some of the best customer service I have ever found. These guys were able to help me out and go beyond to find my product and accommodate me. I have been in the customer service industry for 6 years as a supervisor. These three guys gave me great advice and best products. I want to praise them for their knowledge and ability to make me feel comfortable with my shopping experience. I have been to many dispensaries and for the first time I am a customer who will return just because of their great attitudes and helpful advice for my needs. For the record, I have been waiting years to buy cannibis (legally) and I appreciate SDRC. It's in a good location, enough parking, easy access, friendly security, decent prices and a good selection of product. The reason for only 3 stars is that two of the three times I visited, the sales dude was unfriendly and rude to me. Maybe because I am older than the usual customer or they think I am a cop or something. Barely looking at me, one word answers to my questions, not even pretending to be respectful. Do they resent me being there?Anyway, I like the place but there is room for improvement. And what's up with the arbitrary "birthdate" at the bottom of the receipt?
Worst customer service!! I tried to return a cartridge yesterday after it wasn't working properly. They told me it was my pen was faulty. Then today the bottom piece of the cartridge came apart. Called today to speak with someone about it and how the delivery service works. The person was non hospitable and stuck on stupid. I use to love coming to this place. Time to move on.

What a mess this place is. Everything was in packages, and they wouldn't let you smell about half of their strains. They have an overfilled unreadable menu, jam- packed with tiny listings, by company and product type, all on the same piece of paper. Completely unusable. They clearly have money, because the place is huge and overfilled with product, but who can tell what any of it is unless you know what you want before coming in. My budtender didn't know what he was talking about, and showed me some distillate when I asked to see sauce. This store would be a maze for an inexperienced user. Hire a professional organizer. You're in the weeds.

Things have changed alot here in the past few months. Ive been buying here since about a month after they opened. Never had any issues. Staff always pleasant and the product satisfactory. What really turned my stomach, enough that it still bothers me a month later, was a purchase I made on a vape cartridge. Well the cart was defective, tried it right after I left. It wouldn't fire up on my pen or on the pen of the sales guy when I tried to exchange it. Sales guy understood and said it was no problem and called the mgr over (Chris I believe) to authorize it. Well on the mgr's pen it worked so he said "no" to the exchange despite evidence showing that the cart was likely defective. But hey, if it works on his pen it has to be good right despite the fact that it wouldn't fire on two other pens. This manager raked me through the coals just to make a simple exchange here. It was unreal and it never should have went as far as it did. Just make the exchange dude. When he finally agreed he scolded me with this "never again" speech. Honestly, there was zero excuse for what happened and zero excuse for how I was spoken to. I'm always there and I'm a good customer that has never given anyone any problems, so yeah it really grinds on me still. On another visit just last week the sales guy got really snotty at me because I put the cartridge in my pocket *after I paid for it*. He said, "Come on man you know better than that. You've been here enough times". Really? I've also put the cartridge in my pocket like 50 times and this is the first I've heard of it. What kind of an attitude is this all of a sudden from the staff? The last thing I need is to be spoken down to by a snotty, disrespectful employee after I spend 80 bucks on product. I guess it's too much to ask to be treated with respect at this location. I just can't recommend this place anynore. Ugh.
The first thing I noticed about this place is that it looked like a real store. Not just a shop that is quick to take your money and give you a jar of something that you wouldnt buy but you chose because they told you it was the same thing as what you looked at in another jar. They have a nice selection of products and plants. The first bud tender was a space cadet but the cashier who helped me pick out some chocolate edibles was very helpful. I appreciated him alot. Donald is the man!

I've had good and bad experiences. Customer service is very inconsistent. Some are very helpful and cheerful and some others act like they hate being there and hardly makes an effort to help me out. I don't know if they have a customer service training but management should be aware of this issue. Good customer service brings back customers. Some of them look miserable behind the counter. I really hope someone does something about this. I like it and want to come back but so far the last visits have left a bad taste in my mouth.

They sold me old and untested weed!!Second time at this shop today and probably won't be coming back again now. They were sold out of the 8th that I had originally planned on buying so I went with another that they had in the display case. Once I got home and looked at the label on the container, I saw that the bud had been harvested 6/28/18 and it also said on the label that it has NOT been product tested according to the new regulations! I opened the container and all of the trichomes on the nugs were amber colored, which we all know happens as weed gets older. Since July of last year, it has been illegal for any licensed shop to sell untested product, so this shop is blatantly breaking the law!! Very unprofessional of a state licensed shop to be selling old and untested weed like that, I'm probably going to report them to the state regulators for this. Take your business to March and Ash or Apothekare instead, this place doesn't even compare to those shops!

Fast and efficient dispensary for great prices. The staff was very friendly. Got to meet the owners and they're super welcoming and kind. SDRC seems like they care about the customers and the quality of the products. If you're in San Diego then you have to check them out!

First time in and had a great experience with Rigo and his knowledge of the flowers. The line went by quick and they were close by and the inside grow room was great to see as well.
Buyer beware! Make sure you check the cultivation date and/or packaged on date on your cannabis label. I was sold a "special" of two eighths of flower for the price of one. I didn't notice until I got home that the cultivation date was from almost a year ago. The buds were really dried out and brittle. Worst of all, the product barely altered my state of consciousness. When I went in the next day to complain and try to exchange it, at first they said "all sales are final." Then they said, "we'll have to check with a manager." Eventually they exchanged one of the extremely stale eighths for a "new" one -- but this one had been cultivated 6 months previously. I don't think I'll be back.
I was interested in a CBD/THC soft gel that was shown on the online menu to contain 20 mg of CBD. I called ahead to make sure the product was available and was told that it was. When I arrived at the dispensary I was told that it was not available in that dosage, only the lower 10 mg dosage for the same price. Bait and switch!
SDRC's staff is so helpful and charismatic and awesome! Especially our favorite, Rigo! He is very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about all the specials and will answer any questions with a smile on his face. Can't recommend this place enough!

This place is garbage. Went, got sold on a vape and a cartridge. Charge it, it doesn't work. I bring it back and the General manager wouldn't replace it, even though the guy who sold it to me was at the register next to him.

I have been coming here since I first moved to San Diego last July and it has grown tremendously! I love all the products, all the staff (especially Alma, I hope I got her name right lol), and all of the deals! They are hands down my favorite dispensary and Alma is the friendliest bud tender and of course my favorite! Go check them out! Lowell's prerolls are my favorite.
I've just recently moved to San Diego in the past 3 months and I've tried a few places out so far, but I've always enjoyed my visits here the best. There's so much to choose from and affordable prices too.
Not pleased at all! No pricing on product, only misleading signs around the store. I was given one price, then told that since I'm a 'new' customer that I'd receive a 10% discount. I was then charged more than the original price by 29%. Yeah, we're not talking about big money, but we are talking about truth, veracity & integrity.

Don't bother coming here. There are plenty of dispensaries in San Diego, and you deserve to go somewhere where you're treated liked a person and not just a bunch of dollar signs. I was convinced against my own better judgement by a salesman to buy a vape pen that I didn't quite want because they had a deal on cartridges. It broke the first time I charged it. I was disrespected by the salesperson when I realized the receipt was not in the bag, as I had expected. He was dismissive and argumentative and made it clear he couldn't give a sh*t if I left and never came back. The manager was the same. I never once raised my voice or said anything inappropriate, just tat most businesses will work with a customer to come to a happy resolution, especially with a faulty device. I have had faulty items from other dispensaries, both as cartridges and other items, and they happily swap them out or give me some kind of credit. This is a new business area with little to no rules and oversight, and it's important to work with companies that value customers and aren't just looking out to make money. I feel like I was convinced to get a bad pen in order for them to make money off of a partnership, and then I was disrespected and spoken to rudely by staff when I politely asked them to give me some kind of credit or exchange in order to feel like my custom was wanted and valued. This was not the case. So, not the worst thing in the world, but is it worth it when you can go somewhere else where they treat you right? Good luck keeping that longevity y'all.

I bought cartridges that were half full. Jetty's explanation was unacceptable and SDRC did nothing for me...as if they all need the money!!! The set up and staff are great, management sucks. Oh well. Seams Jetty Extracts has somehow removed themselves from yelp. Perhaps they did not like my review. I wrote they could " 'prime' my 'wick.' "
This was my first visit to any dispensary and it was amazing! Everyone from the check-in, the security, to the sales people were professional, pleasant, and welcoming. The space was clean and bright and the sales person was a big help. We'll be back!
I tried a couple other dispensaries before I found SDRC, and I was disappointed by the quality of the product. I've always found great quality weed at SDRC. Sometimes they have great specials going on too. If you are lucky you will get Alfred as your budtender. Alfred is amazingly knowledgable. He gave me some great tips for how to get the most out of edibles and also tips on making my own edibles. There are closer dispensaries to my house, but I always go to SDRC because they are the best!

I have really enjoyed going to this place for all of my needs and have always been so pleased with the staff and environment. Friendly, knowledgeable, and good at their jobs. One of these jobs - putting the purchased items into a bag (I know, quite the mental feat) - proved too difficult for associate Orlando. After getting back to my car, I noticed that one of the two cartridges I had purchased was not in the bag. I immediately went back upstairs to make him aware of the mistake he had made. His response? "I saw that it was starting to fall out, but I couldn't catch you." Really? Firstly, it's YOUR job to bag it properly so that it can't fall out. If that proved too difficult for you, then you, Orlando, are the one at fault. Do your job. Secondly, "tried to catch you" my ass. You didn't call out to us or flag us down. You didn't have the security guards try to stop us. Many people could have helped you if you had actually tried. Taking care of the customers is also part of your job. Do your job. So thank you, Orlando and SDRC, for screwing me out of $25 and making this trip exhausting and downright frustrating. Maybe Orlando should do a little training at a nearby Vons as a bag boy...

This place has a lot of really great items on display but I wasn't able to purchase most of the things shown. That was definitely a let down despite getting good service otherwise. They have a lot of price options all the product types.
laughable , sent my lady to pick up some cookies (which they had in stock). They talked her into bringing home some bullshit programmer weed called "Rollins". What a spectacular joke your bud tenders have to be. Please leave reccomendations to people who ACTUALLY SMOKE, not your children. . . Best service in San Diego! Quick, easy, Friendly, clean, and cheap! Awesome place. Alden helped me find a locally grown eighth at a great price. I find The cannabis at this location is usually the freshest.

I ordered online from this dispensary and was pleasantly surprised that they deliver. The order came within an hour. The delivery rep was so polite and extremely professional. This is how I've always known Cannabis dispensaries to be except for BUDZILLA (employees there are super ghetto). The guy from SDRC MISSION VALLEY waited to make sure my order was correct. He also gave me tips on how to fix those cheap cartridges that I had previously gotten from BUDZILLA that both didn't work. If i could give SDRC more stars, I would! Needless to say, the products here were great quality and I'm finally getting the rest I need and not having as many seizures. A MILLION THUMBS UP TO SDRC!!!
This was the first place I went to when I moved from LA . Friendly staff and fast service . Unfortunately I had my first bad experience the other day there. They have a coupon out , that says 10% off or $1 joint . The coupon does not have an expiration date , does not say you must by something to make the coupon valid or how many times you can use it . So I have used it twice in one month. My second time using the manager told the staff person , I must by something or the coupon is no good . I understand the company needs to make money and I have spent several hundred dollars there . What pissed me off was the manager didn't explain it to me and didn't even look at me . All I wanted was an explanation. All I'm doing is what the coupon is allowing me to do. I'm low on money this month and that coupon helped me . The coupon only says not valid with another discount. Even the staff member said they would do the same thing . That staff member was so friendly and understanding but the manager didn't care one bit or didn't have 15 seconds to explain . Next time I'm fine print , make the coupon more clear .
This place is absolutely amazing! Good vibes right when you walk through the door. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and they were so accommodating with a great selection of herb. It wasn't your typical shop. For sure coming back.

Tonight was my first time coming here. At first it was an amazing experience starting with the security guard being very sweet and asking how our night has been. We got in line and it moved very fast. Our cashier was Karlton he was absolutely amazing very sweet and helpful. I wanted a pipe I saw on a different case and he said he would walk me over to the other guys register since it was in his possesion so we get to this guy and that is where it went down hill. He didn't even ask what pipe I wanted and took out a tiny one and I said no and pointed at the one in the glass case so he took that one out and said ok where's the cash.. didn't even greet us or anything so I pay for it and he hands me the pipe without a bag and says "you can put it in that bag" pointing to my friends bag. So I ask for a bag since me and my friend do not live together and he sighs and puts the pipe in a bag and hands it to me again. Rigo needs to be trained in customer service skills. If our visit would have ended after Karlton helped us this review would be 5 stars. But unfortunately Rigo ruined that.
Our first time in a shop like this. Weren't very sure exactly what we were looking for. Robert was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to talk with. He was able to guide us to something we would be very happy with. I would definitely return.
If anything maybe they can be a little clearer with daily deals but beyond that this place is fun! Great options and great people. Zaire hooked me up when I was there last time. Very recommended for first time older people as Ive often observed the staff taking their time with customers in order to ensure they are educated about the product as well as satisfied.FUN.
I don't want to give a one star but I tried using this 10%off a couple of times and was told they don't expect them because there flower is prediscounted. So I asked 2 months ago why do you run this 10%off ad and they said the Manger does that and they can't control the ads and can't expect this ad. I have gone to other shops and have found better service, better prices and specials that get the prices right. I highly recommend THC the healing center. Not this place SDRC
I have only been to a few dispensaries but this one has a couple of flaws. One - the parking is horrible. There are too many high volume businesses using the same lot. Two - the folks there really don't know their product. Part of the blame goes to Papa and Barkley. They have just recently started to put their product in their own child proof bag and have the THC to CBD backwards from their boxes and and jars of their relief balm. I only could remember I wanted 1:3 but I hesitated because the 1:3 was 1CBD:3 THC on the bag but that seemed wrong. I looked at the notes on my phone and only had 1:3 written down. The guy just stood there and wanted to know if I wanted it or not. Friendly and thoughtful would not be terms to describe him. A grumpy cashier would seem to be his only role. Anyway, I opened and used some on my way home and noticed the difference. Now I have spent $33 on the wrong stuff. Went back and no return, of course. But if these guys knew anything at all as soon as I hesitated the guy selling the stuff should know the product and asked me want I wanted the balm for and helped me. They also didn't carry the other ratio. I went to another place and they had the right stuff with a note inside the bag about the changes in the new labeling as a warning. Good dispensaries know their product and help their customers.

I decided to treat myself with my first trip here, since tomorrow I turn 420 (in dog years). It was a wonderful experience. The young man behind the counter was so helpful for a newbie, each register has it's own display, and they're more than happy to recommend and describe everything. Decisions, decisions. I will definitely be going back there again, LOVE the Pineapple Express cartridge. YUM!
DO NOT USE SDRC. I was a loyal longtime customer and recently received a fake cartridge from them. When going back to the store they refused to help me even after calling them and them ensuring they would replace the cartridge. Old packaging that the brand hasn't used in years and in a container Select has never used. Plenty of other stores who don't have shady business practices.

I was in San Diego hanging out at sea world with shampoo and I wanted to get some cannabis to make it more enjoyable, so I called SDRC, someone named Eden answered the phone, and was an absolute delight, they where extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed, (esp the infused jeeters). I come to town a lot, so next time I'll be asking for Eden again because they made the experience super easy and fun. I wasn't expecting such a professional and easy experience from a dispensary, but here we are! 5 stars!

DON'T SHOP HERE!!!They're a pack of liars and thieves.Sold me the wrong product by mistake, and it was a defective vape cartridge. AND not the cartridge I thought I was buying; the register drone put the wrong one in the bag. Was told that, because the receipt was not the same as what I was returning, they'd have to check security video to make sure the employee sold me what I was returning.Every scrap of that was a lie.Called back a week later for a status update; was told to come in and they could help me out.This was also a lie.I got there, tried to return the cartridge and was told the answer was no, and there was nothing they would do. So, I'm out a bunch of money, they lied to me REPEATEDLY, and I'm fuckin' PISSED. Don't shop here. Ever. Find somewhere else, because SDRC will rip you right the fuck off.
Bad POS system. Awful management. The manager was super unprofessional. The new system can double charge you and the manager will stand there, not do anything about it. Try to pay with cash only, if you don't wanna get f***ed over,

The least shitty thing about this place was that the prices were higher than my usual spot. It just went downhill from there. Budtender Lloyd's product knowledge was poor. Finally after deciding on a pack of pre-rolls out of frustration, he went to ring me up he said they have a new debit card system. Awesome. So after putzing around and putting product back before bothering to ring me up, he finally attempted the transaction. I swiped, then he said he had to cancel it. He put it in again and I swiped again. This time an "AUTHORIZED" popped up on the screen. He said the second one didn't go through. I said I saw the authorization. He said he'd have to ask for the product back (he'd already bagged it and handed it to me, indicating a completed transaction in my book) or ring me up again. I asked for the manager (no, my name is not Karen). "Manager" Vito came over. He said look at your bank account. I looked at my bank account. It went through - TWICE. So now THEY owe ME $52. Vito also states that it's a new system (not my problem, but ultimately now it is) and "your bank will have to refund it" HUH????So now I leave with my $52 of product I paid $104 for. I call the next day and ask for a manager. I speak with "manager" Lavell. Very nice. Listens. Asks me to send the screenshot of the charges and he'll deal with it that afternoon. I do. Never hear back from him. I call the next day and leave a message. No response. I call the next day and Lavell happens to answer the phone. He says he'll find out what's going on and call me back. No call back. Finally I have to go back to this shitstorm of a store with sketch security to get any form of support. I don't live near the store and it was a pain to have to go back. I ask for a manager. They ask me my name. I tell them. A young man comes up and says he's the "manager." I said what's your name? He said "What's YOUR name?" I told him my name. I asked, "are you Lavell?" He said he was not, but refused to tell me his name. I told him what's happened so far. He was disinterested and defensive and said I'd have to dispute the charge with my bank or "call corporate." "Who's corporate? Do you have a card?" He had no business card for "corporate," no contact name, nada. I use "manager" for Vito, Lavell, and No Name, because there seem to be several assistant "managers" there but no one person in charge or truly "ManagING." No sense of customer service whatsoever.So, here I am, out $52, having had to make multiple calls, GO BACK to the store, call my bank, and write this long ass shitty review. Not the experience I'd hoped for, has probably cost another $52 of my time at this point, and so many better/more professional experiences to choose from. SDRC is the 7-11 of dispensaries, at best.PS after reading some of the other reviews, I went to look for the date of my product: March 2021 see photo. Nine months old... all that for some stale shit.
Came in before work for a cartridge and was interested in the differences between distillates and live resin. Belle was super friendly and knowledgeable and led me in the right direction. The selection is amazing and the customer service was even better. I will definitely be coming back!

First time ever in a dispensary. Came here because an out of town friend wanted to try so I took an opportunity to do the same. Local friends that smoke recommended this place because like all the positive reviews here they're "friendly and helpful." Maybe, if you go more than an hour before close. Despite announcing I'd never been to the entire store it felt worse than being at a bar dealership.
Jesse was the best bud-tender ever! He was so helpful. He gave ha a rundown of everything, prices, deals and answered all of our questions, and did it all with a smile. Thank you for cracking jokes and putting up with us. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Jesse!
