MedMen on Convoy has been my gateway to getting familiar with cannabis and related products, and it's always been a great experience!The staff is always very helpful, especially if you're new to cannabis. I'm the kind of person who worries I'm bothering employees, but not a single person has been anything less than professional and polite, and often they're truly friendly!I would 100% recommend this location to anyone new to cannabis, including if you're only interested in CBD, specifically.Special shout out to Irene, who helped me check out on a VERY busy 4/20. Not only did she have to deal with the checkout system being painfully slow after each scan, she went the extra mile in making sure I got the best deals possible. She left to go grab me alternative products like three different times! She saved me over $100! It felt more like a tailored shopping experience than simply checking out, which was 1) awesome, and 2) felt above and beyond because the store was super busy, and I never felt rushed.Bunch of awesome folks working the floor, I sincerely hope they enjoy working there, because I always come away happy, and not just because of the products!

It was my first time at this location & my experience was great! You walk around and choose the products that you like almost as if you're walking around at a convenient store. There are multiple workers around to answer any questions and give suggestions as well. Cesar was helping us out and had great recommendations and customer service! (He has really cool pins too). My first time going to a dispensary so I didn't know what to expect. Worker wasn't really rude butwasnt really helpful either. Lots of hidden fees. $32 pen ended up costing $50, foh. Go somewhere else.

First of all, the aesthetics and design of this place are awesome! I loved the self-servicing stations. There is SUCH A HUGE VARIETY OF PRODUCTS!! I love that they make and sell their own too! My fave was the MedMen RED All-In-One Vape Pen! The staff was super interactive and friendly when they're needed. I can't wait to go back!

Medmen is my go to the prices are fair. They always have quality products. The bud tenders are knowledgeable and helpful, I went in and Cesar helped me find my prerolls and bud. This man is a certified Connoisseur of Medical Marijuana , Thank you Cesar your a cool cat, I appreciate your help!!

So I went there recently to buy two 710 pods and went home super happy with the purchase, it was my first time,  I get home open the pods to find that both of them are half maybe less than halfway filled, and keep in mind they are both half gram pods... A little disappointed at first but then hated the product because it was not even close to full nor full potential. It hit good but did not taste as good as the same exact pod from Mankind. Sus because the cap easily came off and was obvious what was in the pod had been previously drained.       MedMen clearly tampered with their products and opens them before the customers touch them... I know this because I bought a 710 pod from mankind dispensary a week before it smelled great terpines were completely different and it was fully filled, plus after I finished it there were extra terps leftover from authentic 710.     Basically Mad Men is what's wrong with the cannabis industry because they're fraud and they don't even know what they're doing with their own industry how they run it and what they're doing with their products.

Great staff and very knowledgeable. They helped me find what I need and even made great recommendations. I love that you can walk around the store and look for yourself.

Large selection! Gummies, mints, flowers, vapes... the list goes on! Kat was very knowledgeable/helpful explaining it all to a newbie such as myself. Very secure shop and parking lot. I felt safe and everyone was very helpful! Highly recommend!

Having Jenny as my bud tender, felt like I was being shown the ropes by a cool and knowledgeable older sister. She didn't make me feel like a newb with all my questions and recommended the products that fit what I wanted and have been ones she loved. The staff were so helpful! I've always ordered delivery in the past, so when we went here last night it was my first time ordering in person. Cesar was so helpful. Not only did he answer all our questions, but he took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for & showed us a variety of products that matched what we needed. He stayed nearby the whole time in case we needed any more help, but wasn't pushy or annoying at all.The dispensary is clean, interactive & beautiful. There's a huge variety of products from pre-rolls to flower, edibles (food edibles and liquid edibles), grinders, trays, rolling paper, literally anything you would need or want. Also, every delivery I've had in the past has been incredibly professional, discreet and friendly. All in all- MedMen is a great establishment with awesome employees (especially Cesar!!!)

Bought from the store upstairs and ordered curbside. Both times I had an awesome wonderful speedy transaction.The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They accept cash or card.Will definitely keep being their customer.

1 hour Curbside Wait! Make sure you order 1 hour in advance! 2nd time using curbside and had to wait 45 minutes again before calling to ask why we havn't gotten our follow up email for the 2 cartridges we ordered. Had to call twice too because they hung up on me the first call. Almost gave up after they hung up. If this happens a 3rd time I'll change my rating to 1 star .

It was an amazing experience the other day at Medmen this week, as I walked in I see this associate immediately walk up to me since he was available.  He helped me with what kind of wax I wanted. I asked for his name since he's doing so well and this nice associates name was Brandon C. 10/10 experience I'll be coming again next week

I had the best experience with Kelsea. I'm not a big weed person but went in for soreness and pain. She made some recommendations that were thoughtful and on pointe. I felt very comfortable with her recommendations. Thank you Kelsea!

Normally I order from home and have these guys deliver since it's hard to get out of the house but this time I cruised down right before closing and the homie, William B down at the Convoy St,  helped me out with the upmost patience 11 minutes before closing. Truly appreciated it. Place is clean and after a night of trying all of their top shelf and already having some of the bottom, I'll keep my business right here from now on.

Very modern, clean, and inviting space with a wide selection of flower, concentrates, edibles and drinkables, tinctures and merch. Katie and Cesar were super helpful, answering all my questions,  even checking inventory to help me in finding what I actually wanted and needed rather than feeling like a sales transaction.

I am very impressed with this location. I believe we were helped by a girl named Melina. She was amazing with my grandma and I. My grandma is new to all of this and wanted to find something that would help her knee pain and anxiety. We were there for about an hour and not one time did Melina make us feel rushed or a bother. She was very patient and knew her information extremely well. This girl deserves a raise ! My grandma asked about a million questions and I just can't get over how impressed I was with the way Melina helped her out. Thank you Melina for being patient and understanding with my grandmother.

Went to MedMen as a first time patient and it's like the target of dispensaries. The workers are super nice from the beginning I entered until I left. Brandon C. helped me out. He was super helpful and friendly whenever I had a question, and knew what he was talking about.

I went to MedMen about three weeks ago to pick up some prerolls for after work. It's been a little bit since I went but I still remember the sweet guy who helped me, I believe his name was Frank. It's always nice to go somewhere you've never been and be able to talk to people like you've been going there as a regular for a while. Frank was very kind and was telling me some cool stories about topics we were speaking about. The efficiency and kindness of everyone at MedMen doesn't go unnoticed. Good quality options and they have little display windows for you to look at the sizes and quality of what you're looking to get as well. Thank you!!

On October 19, I went to MedMen in Kearny Mesa and had the pleasure of interacting with Cesar and William. Both Cesar and William demonstrated an in-depth knowledge of all the products carried at MedMen.  Despite their high degree professionalism, both Cesar and William made the visit fun and entertaining. Both of them were extremely patient and answered all of my questions and made excellent recommendations for several strains of flower.  I also had the pleasure of dealing with a young lady there who did a great job at making some recommendations for a Jetty Extracts cartridge and some edible gummy's which worked wonders for sleep. I wish I could remember her name but unfortunately I don't. She is the lady with really cool hair and nice colors. I hope everyone who goes to MedMen has the opportunity to deal with these three representatives. They definitely know the concept of team!!! I will undoubtedly be a return customer and will recommend MedMen, Kearny Mesa to all of my friends.  The experience that I had on October 19 has made MedMen my favorite dispensary in San Diego. I am a customer of MedMen in Kearny Mesa and Sorrento Valley. I am a pain patient and have been exploring cbd as a way to reduce my prescription medication that I take. MedMen has a lot of good associates that have helped me in my search. Jonathan from the Kearny Mesa store has been exceptional in finding solutions for me. He has gone beyond normal service in being knowledgeable, patient, and caring about my pain issues. I highly recommend MedMen due to the selection and knowledgeable staff like Jonathan.

I got Covid 19 positive test after using their overrated crap products. Im sick, this is a Russian company using former US military service members to sell you garbage products synthetic cannabinoids manufactured in China and packaged in Russia! They make money off the distribution cycle and taxes. CA is screwed! Boycott this BS!We need better consumer protection for instance the state of Colorado lists everything a plant was grown in since day 1, if its an edible same all ingredients sourced location on package label etc. Not this Kushy Punch synthetic Chinese garbage spray on caca!

This is my favorite dispensary in town. Very clean, organized and staff is very knowledgeable. Cesar is the best!! Ask for him to help you!! He helped my mom put with tinctures, cream and a fun pre roll. Can't wait to come back!!

I need to preface this to say I am not actually a pothead or casual user (well, maybe now I will be one after I visited MedMen) so I may not be the best critic when it comes to dispensaries.  However, I was really impressed with the sophistication and professionalism when I stopped by here to get some CBD oil for my cat who was just diagnosed with a bladder tumor and possible liver cancer.  This place is like an Apple store!  A line to get in.  Lots of people working there.  Ipads on the tables displaying their products.  People of all walks and demographics shopping there (well, I will say that most seem professional, middle to upper class and we saw people in their 20s all the way up to their 60s+).  Let's just say the clientele was MUCH different than the people we saw at the ghetto smoke shop we went to beforehand...Pros:+ everything looks high-end hipster branded+ seems to have something for everyone+ lots of edibles -- we got some of the mint dark chocolate and I am now a HUGE fan+ they had some for pets which is what I was looking forCons:- expensive (the pet CBD oil was $90)- they don't tell you until checkout they will accept cash or debit cards and round up if you use a debit card which your bank may charge you big ATM fees for (thankfully, my bank refunded me the charge)- I had to specifically ask a salesperson about pet products because they didn't have them displayed.  Once speaking with them, the girl helping me did not seem to understand how to explain using/dosing them to me as a novice.  I literally know nothing about the difference between a high from smoking vs eating and she was trying to tell me that my cat would feel more high if he has the CBD in his food vs dosing it onto his gums.  I was actually really confused by what she was trying to say and I am a scientist  :\I don't know if the CBD oil I purchased is helping my cat feel any better, but I would go back for more edibles.  I think the chocolate bar was $20 for 20 servings and seemed like $20 well spent. :)

I've been coming to the shop for years and maybe today will be my last day not only do they taxed heavily on all their products which I really don't mind but I was using the curbside service just because it's convenient however they had me wait While for cars that pulled up after me got service first when they finally came to my car they didn't even have my order complete yet I don't know if it's a black thing or they don't care about their customers but I will not go to this place if you value your time or your money but isn't even that amazing I recommend SDRC or something further out out

I just arrived home from MedMen and want to give a huge, humongous and enormous shoutout to JEREMY ! Seriously, Jeremy was great. I'm a bit of a novice and it showed. I have several severe, painful health issues that will be lifelong. I've gone off my medications recently and I am now trying different products that might work with my very pain conditions, etc. Jeremy was kind and no (very normal) agitation showed, as I'm sure I asked several questions twice. I accompanied a friend because she didn't want to be alone. I was going to sit in the car but she asked me to go down with her. Good thing I did! When they scanned my ID they saw it was my first time so they gave her a discount for bringing a friend and me one if I were to buy something as well. The place was cute. They had cute merch in the first section when you walk in and then the product in the next room. It was clean, bright, and it wasnt hard to see where everything was located. Isaac was AWESOME! I don't smoke since I had a bad experience but I wanted to know if there was anything he would recommend. He started explaining everything to me in full detail so I felt comfortable he wouldn't lead me in the wrong direction. I liked that he broke down the different products they had and he explained the difference between them. He was just so knowledgeable and detail oriented which is super important for me because I retain info like a sponge. I didn't buy anything so I didnt get to utilize the awesome discount I was eligible for but I'll mostlikely be back and will recommend this place. Thanks Isaac!!!

Beyond expectations. A guy named Frank took the time to bring out multiple examples and ideas of what I can use to focus on my up coming Microbiology class. I didn't expect that type of service just picking up some edibles, feeling like I was at Chik- Fi- Le !! Really cool. Left with these delicious gummies for stress  and THC tea.

Kristyn and Anna were a great help. Patient and informative. Prices were same as other retail, some more some less, but these ladies had product knowledge, and we got great advice! I would rather have quality than to have to suffer through an uninformed purchase.

Take forever to help you, and then after waiting for ten minutes they tell you that they only accept debit or cash. They could at least put a sign and stop wasting my time.

William is the man.  Great guy and will answer any questions you got with such knowledge.  I felt like when John Wick visited that guy in Rome with all the weapons.  Super clean and chill place for all your weed needs with beyond awesome staff and products.

I just visited MedMen and brought along a plastic case from my previous purchase to show that this is what I wanted to purchase again. I handed the counter man the empty case, which would contain 5 rolled "cigarettes" if new, and told him that this is what I want to repurchase. I asked about a senior discount. For whatever reason, he seemed to have a "not so customer friendly" attitude. He told me in a dead monotone voice that the senior discount is included in the price. That remark didn't seem like a big deal really, until I got home, opened the red bag, removed the 5 pack, opened it, EMPTY! It's the same one I had brought in to Med Men 20 minutes and 13 miles ago and had handed to the clerk. He sold me my empty container back to me for $60. It gets worse. I went back right away. And by now, the impolite attitude that the clerk had had with me had suddenly seemed important in a way. I went back inside, confronted him where he stood at the door, and he just got in my face, yelled at me, (which had me yelling back), I'm no saint, but he's accusing  me of trying to steal! He's telling everyone in hearing distance that I was the A-hole who demanded a senior discount and was rude! Come on, why would I do that? I just wanted to make a purchase. Turns into a huge shouting match, in the store, with that poor security guard there, trying to keep the peace. Poor guy, he just keep saying "please" sir. Finally the manager comes out to see what all the fuss is about. I try to explain, but the employee won't let me. Someone finally managed to get him to walk away, while the store manager took me to a counter and reprocessed my purchase. She showed me where on the plastic 5 holder, the seal that covered the opening of the case. Obviously, the case I had given the clerk upon my first visit, had no seal on it. The manager made it right. She apologized. I apologized, I think. I hope I did. And that's what happened.

Even with all the craziness of shutdowns and social distancing, Medmen has done a great job enforcing rules while still having an open door and an easy relaxed shopping experience. Yo I love Medmen. They got awesome people like Rodrigo who is knowledgeable and can recommend stuff you need.  Prices are great and it feels like an Apple store.  Most of all, the shopping bags are great and high quality. I reuse them when I go to Trader Joe's. People see me with the red Medmen bag and we give each other a nod; acknowledging we both know what's up and that the good shit is at Medmen!

The Apple Store of CannabisAs of recently my friend and I have started coming here. MANKIND let us DOWN and more than once. We are very pleased to have found MedMen tho! Wayyy better than mankind. Better parking, better staff, better product, and best of all best pricing.They accept cash and debit at the moment with an ATM machine on siteHopefully soon they will take credit card because that was huge for us at over @ mankind. Either way tho not a huge deal.My friend and I focus on concentrates/wax and have been getting raw garden and 710 labs and have been more than satisfied.Their area upstairs is pretty big for lots of people to walk around comfortably in. Today we tried out a beverage from Lagunitas they have and it was delicious ! (Hi-Fi hops)This place also has gift cards available which is cool! Along with some nice merchandise for you to wear out! Overall this place is tha best. My new go to place!

When I arrived, my temperature was checked then the gal told me to go inside and "wait for someone to take me in" (into where the THC was located). Nobody ever came so Samantha who came from the front door came in and asked if she could help. Told her I was waiting in someone and she informed me that I could just walk in!! Samantha showed me the different strengths of THC - gummies, drinks, etc. She was awesome. Overall, young staff however helpful. They have their own parking structure. You need to go up the stairs to get to the store. I had a really good experience. Thanks!

From the cold/odd layout of the store to the 'i dont smoke it but think I know it all' Sales people, its all Fluff and BS ...and short-weigh their product ($20-worth of their carp wasnt even enough to roll 1 joint) The flower smells like fresh horseshit and didnt even get me high.***** I'll NEVER go back there again

Hands-down the best dispensary in San Diego. Their professionalism is unmatched, their staff is incredibly helpful, (shout out to Joe and the guy working at the front whose name starts with a K lol), and their storefront is a place that you're actually proud to go to and to show your friends. It is easy to say that you guys are really raising the bar and setting the new standard for the way marijuana should be purchased. Every time I visit MedMen I leave very disappointed.  The product inventory for price point is very unreliable. This was my third and final last visit, too far to drive from Oceanside for poor and expensive product selections.  The cheapest 1 gram cartridges are $55 without taxes, way over priced for a senior citizen.  The products are over-priced and over-taxed even with a discount.  I am reverting back to more unconventional sources that supply cheaper untaxed cartridges more readily available and reliable.

What's up with the ATM's.Was told one day the machines were down one day, and they said they would fix it.From the look of it, seems like they lied to their customers. Because the next time I went, they have two ATMS now.. to me that means they will no longer take Debit cards. And frankly I do not like being lied to..

Went in yesterday and Tim helped me and my friend out so much! He was so helpful and really knows his stuff. The store is set up beautifully and it just makes you want to shop forever. For sure my new stop! The shop is small so it can get a bit busy, but definitely worth the wait.

Terrible employees. Very demanding, act as if they never enforced a rule before. Meaning that they take themselves too seriously. ITS JUST WEED. Heard great things about this place so I decided to stop by. As soon as I walked in and saw the variety of goodies in this shop I knew I would struggle to find what I needed. Luckily I was helped my Matt who literally assisted me in finding what I wanted. I wanted some edibles and he recommended the Camino gummies as they were great choices to "micro" dose as they are on the less intense side. For my choice of flower, I'm typically an indica person after a long day of work. He recommended a few great options but the Biscotti took the winner. Overall I had a great experience inside the store with its very professional staff and great selection of product. This place easily deserves this 5 stars!

Isaac is super awesome. We went in today and had so many questions regarding CBD recommendations to help with a medical condition as well as recommendations for getting into a vaporizer. Isaac was super patient and was very knowledgeable about all the products. We never felt rushed or like we were burdening him. Thanks so much Isaac for helping us out. This place is ridiculously overpriced and just a money pit for what they have and their selection. I can't believe I even thought about coming here and purchasing anything. The staff doesn't seem to care about the other customers in the store.. only that person they are spending time with. For example, one of their loud mouth door employees who just pushed me aside with out even apologizing when showing another person to the different flowers on their tables. They spent so much money on security, their iPads and location... no wonder they sell stuff so high when you can get the same stuff cheaper else where with friendlier staff who won't run you over like Simba's dad.

Tried to place an order unfortunately couldn't complete because their website isn't compatible with Safari. Dispatch couldn't help me on their end. I am already a customer here and have an account. Purchased elsewhere I know I am just one person and I won't hurt their business, but their website should be more compatible with all browsers most people have Macs and use Safari.

Trash, overpriced weed. I'm from the Bay Area so I'm used to some really fire bud. Here they are always out of 8$ grams & so slow to restock. Go to east county and get non taxed bud that is significantly better then even medmen's top shelf. In my opinion they are overrated and spring valley has better clubs.

Don't bother. Their website says they accept cash, debit and gift cards. Except when they're standing at your door with your delivery, they only accept cash and will wait for you to go to the atm (which was generous on their part and the reason for my one star). My order was placed, confirmed and STANDING AT MY DOOR and it wasn't until I was handing over my ID and debit card that I was told I needed cash. I was offered a coupon for my next order, as if that is going to happen. I can totally recommend buying from Torrey Hollistics which isn't far from MedMen's Sorrento Valley Rd location. For deliveries, I've used GanjaRunner plenty of times with no problems.

Came to this store hoping to buy a CBD chocolate because I couldn't sleep two nights in the row.I had expired driver license with me and temporary valid driver license from DMV that everyone has when they renew driver license. They did not let me in! As a matter of fact Police accepting this document, airlines accepting them, courthouse and banks but not weed store! Don't you think guys you overrate yourself?

This is the second time I have had a issue with their delivery service wont being giving them another chance to screw up. I recommend not wasting your time here

Having been to a few dispensaries in San Diego I have to say MedMen is far and away the most efficient and refreshing in its customer process. From the friendly check in, the open floor plan with each display and knowledgeable employees, I can't recommend it enough. We were assisted by Isaac who was immensely helpful and most of all educated in his recommendations to us. He highlighted the benefits of certain products and made sure we were comfortable with our purchase (we decided on two CBD 4:1 ratio vaporizers; dompen & Beboe).We'll be going back to MedMen for all future purchases. I can guarantee that.

It appears their website doesn't work for me. Their products are great their services are great and the people are great but their website sucks. Then I called them and they refused to help me.

Great place.  Been a customer since they opened.  Always professional and friendly.   Good on site security.   Prices high side but offset by my earlier praise.Web site is terrible however.  Hopefully they update it and make it compatible with all browsers. The 90's called, they want the website back!

Set up is nice, service is nice. But beware of the pricing, what they say their edibles cost might not be what they charge you. In a recent purchase I bought two pouches of CBD/THC gummies and the guy told me that it was $20 for each bag, after ringing me outthe receipt reflected $25 for each bag. I didn't want to hassle with them about refunding me $10. Needless to say, I won't be giving them anymore of my business. Bad business practice, you should label your products with price tags.

Wouldn't let me in because my ID is expired due to COVID. I was able to come in a few weeks prior, WITH THE SAME ID. Inconsistent.

Came into MedMen because I've relocated to Tierrasanta and it looks great and is also nearby . Have given it a couple of tries, but won't be returning . I like the products and the employees, but MedMen's business practices aren't customer-friendly nor customer-focused .My biggest complaints:1. You CAN pay with cards, but there are two caveats, one of which is huge . You can only pay with a debit transaction . If you're a fan of ApplePay or added security of not using your PIN, I know it'll bother you too . Side note: they only let you pay in increments of $5/10 . So if you're paying for $32.40, you'll end up being charged $40 and given the remainder in cash as "change." Again, you can only pay debit, and here's the reason why: it's not actually a debit transaction; it's a withdrawal from your bank ! If you're like me, and your bank charges you a fee for using a non-affiliated ATM, you're not going to pay a fee AT THE REGISTER, but you WILL be charged whatever your bank charges for non-affiliated ATM withdrawals . I found this out when my bank charged me $3 for the transaction . So, if you're looking to spend just around a certain budget on recreation, you'll actually end up spending wayyyy more than you intended ! And you are never disclosed this information at any point in your transaction ! Like ... what ?2. Their "rewards" program is a joke . I've been a customer of theirs (begrudgingly) for almost 5 months and I haven't even scratched the surface of my first "reward." My old shop in Mira Mesa does 5% of each purchase and you can access them immediately . Granted, I'm not a huge consumer of the products MedMen sells, but I wasn't at my old shop, and I was able to enjoy the benefits of their loyalty program on my second purchase .3. Despite having a basically non-existent loyalty/rewards program and incurring hidden fees for customers, MedMen's prices are notably higher than any shop in San Diego . Like upwards of $2 higher --for the exact same product you can get at any other shop-- .MedMen might look really fancy and clean, but you're ultimately paying for aesthetics . All I'm saying is: if I wanted to get McDonalds, I wouldn't pay extra money to eat the exact same food in a place just because it looks nicer .Go somewhere else !

I am new to the area and happened upon MedMen in San Diego. Not knowing anything about medical marijuana, I depend on knowledgeable people to help me find what I need. I am a total insomniac, if I get 4-5 hrs of sleep a night, I'm lucky.When I entered MedMen, I was greeted by happy, friendly people and walked into a store that is more like a pharmacy. Jeremy took me under his wing and gave me several options from which to chose. OMG! I can't even tell you how nice it is to sleep through an entire night!!! I have found THE PLACE & THE MAN! If you ever need help...with anything, don't hesitate to ask for Jeremy, he's kind and extremely knowledgeable. He will get you through!

Just visited Med Men in Kearny Mesa & had a great experience. Very relaxed environment & all products are nicely displayed for you to browse at your leisure, with iPads listing product details & sample boxes of buds to view & smell. Isaac was especially helpful answering my questions & getting me the right pain balm.

Bad. Ordered delivery at 3:15, and was told on the phone to expect my order around 4:45. I got the delivery at 7:00.One of the items I ordered was not present in the delivery. I called them to let them know, and was told by a lady that sometimes the sales people can't find an item and throw a substitute into the order instead.I called back and eventually spoke with Clayton, who is a manager. He offered to sell me a larger pack of cookies with 10% off. I opted instead to have a credit to my account.Would not recommend ordering delivery from these guys unless you are looking for trouble.

Very disappointed. I had higher expectations for service. I specifically asked what deals they had for cbd/thc cardtidges. The employee didn't show me the sale options until after I asked him after he already rung me up for the product he suggested which was much more expensive & w/ no cbd. I asked if could exchange it for the one on sale but he said no even though it was his fault. I use CBD as actual medicine & sold me the wrong product refused to fix his own mistake.

COMPLETELY OVERPRICED!!!  They gave me a 30 minute tour when I literally told them I wanted 2 things. They charged me $50 for two joints when I said I didn't want to spend that much he made me feel stupid for saying anything. The people there just make you feel completely uneducated.

MedMed SD is my go to place for cannabis. I have been going here for years. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly; the long-term staff often remember me and give me a genuine "welcome back". I have purchased a couple faulty concentrate cartridges along the way from them over the years; I realize it is manufacturing error and it happens from time to time. Anytime I have brought back a faulty device, the staff has apologetically replaced it without incident. The prices tend to be a bit higher than other local storefronts, but the quality of product and service, along with the store's location make it worth it for me.I would give MedMen a solid 5 stars if it weren't for their debit card payment terminal issues. For whatever reason, they have to round up to the next dollar to run a debit card, which is okay, I suppose, because they inform you first and then give you the rest back in change (coins). However, the staff fail to mention to debit card users that there may likely also be an added ATM and possible banking fee (depending upon your individual bank or credit union). Not a huge expense but I would like to know of any possible hidden costs ahead of time. I am fine with forking out the extra dough if the product value and quality of service are there, but I do not appreciate the added fees that get tacked on without any notice.I will certainly bring cash in the future to avoid unnecessary and unexpected fees, but I will certainly be back again.

I stopped at Med Men this afternoon to pickup a "to go" order. The security guy at the door was not wearing gloves and got very close to me (in my bubble). When I asked him not to touch my drivers license he acted offended. I told him I had an older husband at home and needed to keep my distance. I asked him why he wasn't wearing gloves and he looked at me as if I were crazy. Shortly 9 people were in line behind me. All standing shoulder to shoulder with the exception of me. He touched each and everyone of their licenses. He touched 9 people co-mingling coodies while I was there. Think of the spread of the virus at just one of these locations.

So I came by one day thinking this was still Apothekare and was surprised by the overhaul. The parking situation is easy. They take care and cash but no ATM on site. They've got really good customer service cuz customer traffic is low. When my friends and I went, someone stuck with us the whole time and I will admit they knew their way around Med Men's carried products. That much I have to respect. What I don't like is the products themselves. A lot of PAX and "premium" cartridges that I'm not into. That's probably a personal thing more than anything else. Prices are stupid high though (pun intended). A Kiva chocolate single that usually runs for $3 would be $5 here. A 200 mg lemonade brand I've seen run usually for $15 would be $20 here. Shit's wildly overpriced fam. I know storefronts have a markup but damn. Way to bleed a girl out. As much as I appreciate the service, I can't afford the prices.

Don't ever come here! The security is crap and look for ways to duck with people. This is the worst experience I have ever had with MedMen. I usually go to the location in Beverly Hills and have no issues at all. If I were you, I'd avoid this location at all costs!

Love coming to this place because they always have high quality concentrates! Only downfall is sometimes their menu isn't up to date but they have recently been working on the issue and improved their online menus.

Had to stop at Medmen because it was on the way to my destination.  Staff is nice and the location is great. Needed a Pax refill and I'm driving away angry because of how much I had to pay for it. Almost double the amount of other places. Ugh. How can a great place dispensing my favorite substance make me so mad?

So Overpriced!!!! they tell you 15 for a gram then charge you 20. They give you a cute packaging to try and make up for the pricing. No one gives a shit about the red gift shopping bag. The employee gave me a cartridge he said was hybrid but was indica. Charged me and then would not let me change for correct strain. Never Again

Been here once, I won't be back.Left a review on the former Apothekare thread, but since they had non-stop negative reviews after the business change they decided to use their actual name here. This place showed up out of nowhere, in a location that was previously a great dispensary which disappeared without any real notice.When I arrived here, the entrance lobby was empty save for the counter with two people to check you in. One guy was obviously new and clueless as he actually asked for my name while holding on to my Drivers License. Long, slow check in process for a new customer.Once I got through the doors I noticed a pretty small selection. Of particular disappointment was the fact that nothing had a price tag. I was told that they would eventually, but I could check prices at the counter. There were more people checking out than actually assisting customers. Don't care for the layout as it seems crowded despite a ton of space near the registers.Prices are average, obviously higher than they used to be since San Diego wants to carve out their pound of flesh with the sin tax. There's other, better stores.

Fine place with a large selection.  Great customer service, and I'm a fan of the branding.  The powder line in the logo seems a bit sketchy, however, and I don't see the appeal of advertising hard drugs at a legitimate dispensary.  I subtracted one star due to the salesman that I dealt with forgetting to include a charger for a product that I bought, leading to me losing sleep for that night (the whole reason that I bought the product).

From the time we stepped thru the door the tenders were very attentive to our needs and gave info on the things we needed and with product recommendations. I would definitely recommend MedMen for all your needs. Medi or Rec.Jeff

Good store all around. It's really nice inside. has plenty of parking and a lot of choices. Weather you're looking for edibles, flower, carts, wax, they have it here. I wish they had more specials on cartridges though. My friends have said it's a little pricey, but I feel it's reasonable. They are very knowledgeable! Klaetin has helped me out a few times. I've frequented this MedMen often. Always having a good experience. It's a huge space, no lines, a lot of variety of CBD & THC, you are free to look at all products yourself. Yesterday, I had an exceptional experience! I took a friend w/ me for her first time. I did not know that if you bring a friend you and your friend both get 20% off. I save $8 from my purchase. Tim, helped us and he was incredibly knowledgeable. He helped my friend navigate through all of the options. I learned things about product I had never been told before. His passion for the products was clear and appreciated. He gave excellent customer service. We were in and out w/in 15 min

I really like this place. I've had great experiences with buds, concentrates, edibles, tincture etc and I'm pretty impressed. Great quality, pretty decent prices for an actual store, and everyone actually knows what they are talking about  I had an issue with a concentrate and they handled it completely professionally. They absolutely have my business in the future.

Their prices are higher than other dispensaries in San Diego. They charge $5 more for the product I wanted. They don't have as many deals as other dispensaries. There is no first time discount. I just walked out without buying anything and went elsewhere. They had a lot of billboard ads around town, so I guess they have to raise the cost to pay for them. This is a bad business strategy, because repeat business is better than billboards. We will not be back, due to the fact they charge more for the same exact product.

Got a really great first time here thanks to Sekou, easy going and gave a great tour, helped me choose the green hornet gummies which i now reccomend. Went with a friend and got that 20% discount. Always ready to go back because they have a great variety.

I came in on Monday and bought a select cartridge, and 1/8 777 blackjack on Matt's recommendation. Super knowledgeable showed me around the store, super friendly, and super satisfied with the product and service!

I called in to inquire about CBD for muscle spasms and Parva was so kind, knowledgeable and friendly. Great location, great staff and products for pain relief.

Alex Bond helped me figure out which dosist pen to help me with my anxiety. I ended up getting the calm one to use daily and then a sleep one to use occasionally.

The prices are a bit more here, but I feel like what people don't understand is that it's because the atmosphere is a lot more pleasant to deal with and it's still cheaper than OC and LA prices. I've been to other dispensaries that have a very depressing and tasteless "DMV meets prison" kind of atmosphere where you wait in a small waiting room with armed guards for no apparent reason first and when they call your number you can go in. Here at Med Men you skip that waiting room process and just go inside after you show your ID. The only thing I don't like is how the employees try to always up-sell you in some way. They see you looking at cartridges, and say "oh, go for this one that (happens to be $5 more) and was personally the best high I've ever had". Apparently they allow refunds here but I've never needed to try that.

Medmen Kearny Mesa has a decent selection of products but the prices are a little higher than i'd prefer. Isaac did a great job of selling the value of the products he showed me and his knowledge is better than any other local dispensary staff so far

Had an amazing experience today! My close friend is visiting from out of town and I couldn't wait to show him how wonderful MedMen was. He LOVED it! Right from the start Tim K was on it! I put in a delivery order around 7:00 pm. I've been notified a few times that the payment has to be made before 9:00 pm. I didn't see this as a problem because I thought 2 hours would be more than plenty. The driver arrived at 8:52, and we finally found each other at 9:01 pm, and I wasn't able to get my order. I emailed them asking for a coupon or some sort of compensation for the time I wasted waiting just to end up with nothing, but no answer. The store was only about 15 minutes away, and my order was just a battery and a cartridge. They should have had much more window than to come 8 minutes before the order can be processed.

JoJo was extremely helpful. Had great knowledge of most strains and gave her honest opinions about all the flower. Come here often and the costumer service is just one of the many reasons.

I really like Medmen at the Kerny location. The staff and the way the business is ran is very professional. Everything is seamless. I've been to a couple of other dispensaries and felt like I was in a dive and the staff was not as knowledgeable about their products. I tried buying MedMen online today (covid-19) and was shocked at how quick and easy it was. I ordered online at 11:10am and was sent text/emails about the order status: (filled, out for delivery, arrival time, and driver is here). They delivered when they said (between 12:30-1pm) the same morning I ordered! That's so fast. The driver was in a normal car, so it was private. He was super quick and friendly. I definitely recommend this place and I'm done looking at others. A loyal customer now.

These folks are friendly and pleasant to deal with.  That said, their products are more expensive than other dispensaries in the area, and I can't figure out why Kushy Punch is $20 here and $18 other places.  More than 10% for no reason.Their bud is good, but again is more expensive than the competition.  They don't carry a good selection of premium pre-rolls either.Stop handing out the ridiculously expensive Med-Men bags.  I'm not shopping at Tiffany's for god's sake.  I'm paying for those bags and they go directly in the trash.

First off let me start by saying Medmen has the best quality weed in all of San Diego. Second, I don't ever remember the names of bud-tenders that help me. Third, I look forward to coming here because Alex Moreno is the most engaging individual I have ever worked with. Right when you walk in her face is incredibly inviting and she's happy to help. I tell her my preferences, her recommendations are always on point and I'm never dissatisfied. Hands down ask to work with Alex when you go. She makes the overwhelming selection a lot easier :)

Came here as recommended by a coworker/friend. Not what I would expect from a dispensary. Very clean, organized and the staff is very professional, know their products and are very approachable. Tosh rang my husband and I up and answered all our questions, his customer service was definitely great. I will definitely come back in the future.

I've been to a lot of dispensaries in three states and MedMen is the cleanest, nicest, brightest, and easiest dispensary ever. No sitting in a little room with security while you wait to be called. The store doesn't smell like weed and the employees aren't stoned out of their mind. I also like that the stuff isn't locked behind glass so I can browse without pressure. Everyone said hi, I wasn't the invisible middle-aged woman at the bar fighting to get my stuff, and they accept debit cards at point of sale. Can't ask for better. Definitely go on a weekday morning if you can.

Delivery within an hour of Placing order! This is my seconds delivery order. Both times, Delivery in an hours time. People are friendly, knowledgeable and eager to assist. Justin just delivered my order dealing with weekend SD traffic. Ultimate convenience.

This location was very easy to find and very easy to park at - there was a parking garage and signs guiding us to the 2nd floor entrance. We were shown around and assisted by Isaac who was very helpful! Definitely recommend paying this MedMen a visit.

The 3.5 gram jar of Sativa flower I bought was actually 3.54 grams and the jar was sealed. I cannot say this for another shop in San Diego which always seems to short me and give me already opened jars. The store is very nice and the staff was friendly. I don't like their policy of taking your ID and putting it in their "database'. It is little pricier than others around...by about 7% from what I can tell. But, it's close to home and the menu options are good. new to this stoner community- I went to MedMen with the hopes that my budtender would know more than I did but clearly I was wrong. I asked for a gram of wax, indica. paid my $40 for whatever dude recommended & then got home to realize it was a hybrid. first & last time here.

I thought I'd found my favorite dispensary. Clean. Well displayed. Reasonably nice. Overpriced but I could afford it. Then I tried to get any actual customer service. I bought two devices, one worked and the other didn't. I thought a simple switch, it's not product just a device. I was told they're unable to do that because of the manufacturer. So I get on the phone right there, which took 30 minutes because the company's support kept dropping the call. They go ally agree to help, and tell me the store could exchange but it's their policy. Their website also says that items purchased at a retailer must be returned there. So Med Men refuses to stand behind the products they sell. And don't pos this horrendous policy anywhere in their stores or on their website.

Best dispensary in San Diego hands down. I was helped by Matt and he was so kind and courteous, he was very patient with me and I truly felt like he had my best interests in mind. I would return solely to be helped by him and I reccomend everyone that goes there to request Matt because he will make you feel like part of the family.

I went in earlier this week and had the BEST experience - ASK FOR MATT, He helped me out with some edibles to help me with my anxiety, he has a great personality and I appreciate how knowledgeable he is. Best dispensary we've ever been to. You walk in and are greeted with a modern, clean and organized shop. Was a little crowded and a bit noisy, but Matt helped us navigate and find exactly what we were looking for. Bright, personable and knowledgeable. Great service. Nothing against the customer services but this isn't a shop, this is corrupt corporate bull$?!t. Nobody is there for u or the "donation"... that smile on their face and the basic knowledge is for the commission (if any) & for their personal bi weekly pay (or however their corrupt corporation runs their program.) They wasted more time trying to up sell me on their 5$ Black Friday section instead of explaining to me the real deal, dollars per gram I was getting on their PRE PACKAGED product. An illegal ma n pa shop in the valley will get you right and leave you with some to pick up a swisher & that's on my momma. Keep marijuana illegal! It shouldn't have any law behind it legal or not. They're ripping u off, laughing at your high choices and they're loving it. I can't behind this system. Tax people but don't charge more then 10$ a gram. That would show the business cares about the smoker and is curing the world. It's a "donation" and I should be able to get an 8th for 25 or a gram for whatever change is in my pocket! If they cared about the people over business they would hire a Dr to GIVE you a REC IF you spend 30$ (I've done this in la) I don't stand for what medmen stands for. They should take the "med" out their name and call it THEMAN.

This is the second time going to this shop and let me tell you it was a great visit. Matt helped me and my friend out, he was inviting and had a great sense of humor. My friend from out of state had never been to a dispensary...he was happy his first time was memorable! I needed a new pen because I lost my other one at the beach. He showed me the girl scout cookies. The flavor and strength was perfect. I've been to a lot of dispensaries in SD since moving here and I've never had such good customer service. I'll definitely only be going to him.

The store is nice, no waiting.  The problem is nothing has a price tag.  I got 3 different items.  Candy, a drink and mints.  I was told candy was 10 each, mints were 60 and drink was 10.  Candy was really 20 and mints were really 65.  All items should have price tags, period.

Rang me up today overcharged me and I noticed before I left the dispensary so I told him I was overcharged so instead of getting a refund on the money I was overcharged I was told the only thing that could be done is credit can be added to my profile forcing me to come back and spend more money that i didn't want to spend in the first place I went back the next day to redeem my credit and the manager lied to me (chunky guy with curly hair never got his name ) he told me the money credit was on my profile and would flag the cashier as soon as I was rang up but nope still everything was full priced the manager ran to the back would not come to sales floor made it a big issue the cashier going back and forth I was eventually given a half off credit which was part of their promotion already and still ended up paying more than I wanted to in the end but did it just to get out of store the sad thing is this was my go to shop  I wish I could of got the managers name (chunky curly haired guy ) big time liar just be a man of your word that's all so long story short I wasn't given the full credit I was overcharged for on my return visit the guy lied and never put any type of credit on my profile like he said he would

The whole place, location, product placement, and variety is AMAZING. I thought it could not be better, until Matthew sought to help us out and gave us a tour of the store. What a great experience.  I have never been inside one of these dispensaries.  I suffer from terrible leg pain which affects me all day, especially at night where sleeping is almost impossible.  Dakota, was absolutely awesome.  He was so knowledgeable.  I was a bit nervous walking in not knowing what to even look for.  He greeted me and made me feel so relaxed.   Please go visit and see Dakota.

Card reader has been down for a long time, staff says it's just down for the day. Purchased a device here and they have never carried the same line of refills for it despite being told they were just out but would have it in stock soon, it's been months and nothing. Said I was interested in trying an indica strain get home and it's sativa. Too many issues at this location and to many other options near by. This store is definitely cash only stop lying.

Great products but It's always frustrating when a company has all their items out for you to look and touch but don't include price tags. Also everything is over priced. All their 1/8ths of flower are 50 dollars and up. Paying this price and only getting 3.5 grams is bogus. Don't think I will be coming back because of this. You advertise that you close at 9. I drive 30 minutes one way to be there before close only to have security tell me that you close at 845... this is complete disregard for ppls time and disrespectful

i recently went to this business at 8:46 pm when there hours of operation states they are open between the hours of 8 am to 9 pm but they wouldnt allow me in because they said they close at 8:45 to give the bud tenders time to process the orders and they also told me that the law states them to be closed at 8:45 so i checked on the law and the law states 9pm. then they told me sir it is posted on hour website which i pulled up in front of the gentlemen that told me that and showed him that it says 8am-9pm if your closing at 8:45 you should state on your website your true hours of buiness not lying to your faithful customers just so you can be out early. so needless to say myself and all my friends will no longer be a customer of MEDMEN ! there are an abundance of dispenseries all over san diego that treat there customers with respect and honesty so from now on i will be going to SDRC located in mission valley they are great and treat you great and if you come at 8:59 and your in the door at that time you will get in !    by MEDMEN your TERRIBLE !

My man Tosh helped me out here with my purchase of CBD pre rolls. I don't smoke THC heavy flowers anymore so the CBD pre rolls are the way to go for me. He recommended the Henry's 25:1 CBD pre rolls and they are perfect for people who want a very subtle high instead of the usual THC psychoactive high.

This is a safe place where I can go in to bring people to learn about cannabis. Is it for everyone? Not entirely. This is the perfect place for beginners in the cannabis world, but also a great place to shop for connoisseurs who like swanky cannabis gifts. Learn about microdosing with Medmen or how to incorporate cannabis into your life while avoiding a nasty hangover. I recommend everyone set foot in one of these stores at least once to see the future of legalization.

My fiancé and I decided to check this place out tonight despite the bad reviews. I suffer from anxiety and if my stress gets too be too much my medication isn't always enough. I didn't get any names of the girls who helped us out but they greeted us right away and suggested many options that help people like myself who just need help relaxing not so much getting a head high. They were helpful when needed and gave us space also when needed. I have never been to a dispensary so I cannot say if the prices were expensive compared to other products but the price point was lower than I was expecting. I just tried one of their pre-rolled joints and I feel great. My anxiety is gone and i feel very calm but I don't feel as though I can't function. Also, I did not find anyone intimidating as people mentioned in previous reviews. Sure, the security isn't sitting there chitchatting with customers but they have a job to do making sure people don't try to steal anything. I felt safe and comfortable shopping there. We live a few minutes down the street and are excited to have found a great place close to home. We will be back for sure.

A lot of folks walk in, get what they want and want to be checked out so they can leave. 4 registers and not one person ringing people up. i was just waiting there. its always something from this place. i highly recommend SDRC in Mission Valley or HeyEmjay. A little different layout than the Sorrento Valley location. Park in garage on first level, store is on the second.   Drove past it the first time going north on Convoy. Made a U-turn at the Miramar landfill and saw the Medmen sign on the building on the East side of Convoy. Had $30 off my fav Maui Wowi, my favorite. Turns out I didn't get a Senior Discount on top of that. Also got my favorite chocolate edibles. Had to have help finding them. Convoy is closer to home, but traffic is heavier than Sorrento Valley. So where I go depends on what other destinations I have.

It's close to my house, and they have never ran out of my favorite items. It's very clean.most of the employees are , but there's 1 female that treated me like a thief by having to be in my ass the entire time. So I put a$20 in the tip jar, I hope she's gone

Marvin at MedMan in Kearny Mesa was a tremendous help to me today I was looking for something to help me with my vertigo and he was very helpful and very knowledgeable I'm very grateful.

I have been to other dispensaries before, but Medmen is the best! I have lived an active lifestyle. Unfortunately, due to this fact, I have multiple aches and pains from sports related injuries. Additionally, I have problems with insomnia and want to deal with both problems naturally. Enter super salesman, RUDY! He is helping me to alleviate my pain and help me sleep without pharmaceuticals. I finally feel that there is hope for me...thanks to Rudy's expertise.

Ceasar was a really big help and knew what ge was talking about! Basically i bought what he recommended and it was a good purchase!

Recently went to MedMen in Kearny  Mesa, me and my girlfriend knew what we wanted but we allowed the staff there to educate us on the particulars of their suppliers/growers to hopefully get the best they had to offer.  The staff would not or could not recommend their best choice.  Our parameters were that it was not a hybrid that it be a Indica strain and of course, a high THC content.  As I said, the staff would not point out what he thought was best ( I can understand why this might be ) so we decided that we should definitely get what were looking for ( very intense Stony high ) if we purchased a Indica with a high/highest THC content.  Staff came out with a  "Presidential Classic" called "Moon Rocks".  I smoked a joint, about 3/4 of a gram, by myself and realized that either another product was mislabeled or the label was misleading, I got higher off 1975 Meca back in the day then I did this.  I immediately wrap it up along with the receipt and the following day tried to return it, not for the $98.00 the 3-1/2 grams cost but a product that was consistent with a Stony & high THC content.  I was immediately met with BS excuses.  Their initial excuse was that California state law prohibited them from doing so, we'll I guess they got me on this one, not a chance.  I decided to deescalate and left to brush up on my law sense.  I returned to request a exchange, I let them know there was no such law on the books and again consider an exchange, a big no to that request also.  So requested to speak to the manager and she began to bolster what her staff was trying to explain but I politely stopped her and showed her our states law and asked her to find any wording to defend their policy of upholding no refund/exchange because our state prohibited it.  She couldn't.  She, the manager, then began to tell me it was a federal law, quite a difference but I knew this to be incorrect also but I excused myself and went to studying federal laws concerning refunds/exchanges on Cannibis, there are none!  The federal laws on Cannibis are few and simple regarding such a transaction because they don't recognize "legal Cannibis" therefore there is no   federal law concerning refunds and or exchanges on Cannibis.  She then ventured to tell me that because it was listed as a schedule 1 drug that they could not refund/exchange Cannibis products.   I ask her, the manager, " is that why you sell it?" She looked perplexed.  I explained to her that they sell Cannibis because the state of California has passed laws legalizing it, so you sell it.  But when you don't abide by the state statutes under that law ( posting refund/exchange policy in places where the state requires them, public entrance, cash register, sales counter etc...  You revert to federal law ( which has no laws regarding these issues and try and deny me what should be " good business ethics.  You can't have it both ways?  If going to defend your ethics concerning this matter with federal law then you shouldn't be selling Cannibis cause federal law states it's illegal and does not recognize the states stance on Cannibis.        And all I wanted was an exchange of product.  MedMen you lost a customer for life.      W. First time in a rec dispensary in California. I've been traveling all summer from east to west and stopping at the ones I could as often as I could and this was the best experience. It was also the most expensive lol. Kelsey helped me with everything I needed and then some. Everyone was so professional and kind. Yes they had masks on but you could tell they were smiling. These people love their job and it makes shopping their so much more exciting. I absolutely love how they have things displayed you can look and smell. Its better than I ever imagined.
