The negative reviews are hilarious. I don't believe any of them for a second. I go here twice a week, at least, and it's the best dispensary in SD. The security guard NEVER made me uncomfortable at ALL, the employees are cool and don't try to upsell you. I drive past 9 dispensaries just to go to this one. It's the best,

Show Grow is a very clean, professional, & fun shop. They have amazing products & great prices. i had actually been to their shops in Long Beach & was excited to try out the SD one- it's kind of far for me (as i'm in Point Loma) but definitely worth the drive! i love the aesthetic of the shop- very open, & plants everywhere. also one thing i love is the fact that you can actually find parking & it's in no way sketchy. so far everyone who works there has been super cool & helpful too!

If I could do no stars I would. While shopping the store manager was speaking rudely to a sales rep for wonderbret and bitching about the samples she gave them for their employees wasn't enough. Are you kidding me!!! Weed isn't free and you should be thankful for anything free you receive. That sales rep did not need to be treated in such a manner. After purchasing products from this place today I was in my car talking on my phone for maybe 10 minutes and parked out of the way and an employee parked next to me staring me with an angry look bitching and talking shit about me being there. Of course she didn't say anything to me directly but she was quick to go tell security. So security came out and asked if I plan on buying anything or I have to leave. I showed him my bag and let him know I was just using my phone for a few minutes. It's ridiculous to have employees that are asshole and rude like that. Will never go back to this place again. My advice is go to places where real stoners work cause one they know what they are talking about and two they aren't rude like the people at showgrow. Worst dispensary experience I've ever had at any dispensary. How can people be jerks when they work with weed???

One of the best shops in SD. Prices for exact same strains are cheaper here vs down the street. The idiots tripping on security sound ridiculous.  The store is moderate size and security sits at the front ( where you check in). Their job is to monitor you. They literally never leave the front or get closer than 15 ft. I have never seen unsafe practices here regarding covid. Always masked up with sanitizer available.  Gabrielle is an amazing budtender as well. Shes always happy and helpful. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

I was starting to feel less than important at my last dispensary so I wandered into ShowGrow and was greeted warmly by the entire staff. This includes the security guard outside the building, the staffers who took my info, but a HUGE SHOUT to Xio who stopped what she was doing, came from behind her desk and took me on a tour of the store. Who does that these days? Well THIS STORE DOES! I received coupons and an armload of free swag. I was in and out in 10 minutes, a new one for me. I cant see bothering to go anywhere else. Thx guys!

Very disappointed. My boyfriend has been raving about this place since they opened. He had been going there if not every month, at least every two weeks. Telling me about how reasonably priced their products are and the customer service. The first time I went I felt welcome and had a great experience. Went in today with my boyfriend and always a great experience with the customer service. But after we purchased our items, the blue eyed security guard told us that we had to follow him outside. He told my boyfriend to empty all his pockets and even pockets he pointed to, he complied respectfully. The security guard accused him of stealing and continuously asking what he did with it to which my boyfriend showed him the receipt of our purchase and the products inside. I took my things out of my pocket ready to be searched as well but the security guard just looked at me and said have a nice day. He did not ask the other two male customers who left before us the same question and I was not searched. Does not make sense to racially profile loyal customers.

Came here a few weeks ago. I loved the layout! The girl at the front was super friendly, her name started with an X (sorry I forgot your name). And I believe the guy who helped us his name was Anthony? Or started with an A? I can't remember /: but he was cool and knowledgeable. Coming from the Cannabis Industry from where I'm from, honestly it seemed like he tried to up sell us in a way, so honestly I walked away and let my friend listen to the strains he wanted to recommend. Specially the Tyson brand which came from Mike Tyson. I do love that brand, but after browsing that wasn't what I was looking for. I was amazed with all the product this store has compared to what we have in Vegas. I loved the flower strains we picked and all the product we decided to buy so I am giving a 4 star bc of the girl up front who was super friendly, her name started with an X, and for the product selection, just wished we weren't rushed a lil in picky and it would be a 5 star. :) I will def come back again when visiting the area!!

First timer at ShowGrow yesterday. Anthony was superrrrr helpful. He answered any questions we had and gave us great recommendations. We were able to be in and out quickly! They accept debit and cash. Everyone is being careful, all employees were seen wearing masks and so were customers. There's also hand sanitizer at the door. Side note, the place is really cute inside!

Horrible experience and service, if you want to go to a dispensary that makes you feel discriminated because of how you look (race, age and clothing choices) then go to this one. Unsafe COVID-19 practices, the associate who rung me up pulled down his mask while talking to me and kept it down the whole time. The items they claim to have online, they do not have in the store and do not even notify you to let you know that they don't have it before you go to pick up the items. They really need to train their safe about COVID-19 safety practices and being a basic decent human in general.

I absolutely love everything about this dispensary. The vibes are always so chill and everyone who works there is patient. They help you when you need it and leave you alone when you want your space. They carry the best products with a wide variety of selections based on quantity and quality. Parking is great. They also are taking Covid very seriously which is so nice to see.

Best shop in the area ! Ask for Xiomara shes awesome really nice and knows her stuff !

My first and last visit at this shop was the most uncomfortable experience I've ever had at a dispensary. The security guard they have there mad dogged my partner and I the entire time to where I couldn't even touch anything without feeling like I was going to be accused of stealing, and by reading the other comments I'm surprised that didn't happen. If they're so paranoid about theft then they should invest in cameras throughout the store and keep an eye on them, not send out a security guard to make you feel "intimidated" while you're trying to shop. Besides that there was a guy who works there that came up to us to ask if we needed any help only to end it with telling us to hurry up so that more customers could come in. He made it seem like there was some line to get in all the sudden, when in reality there was only a couple that were together checking in at the time of us leaving. If they wanted to set a time limit then they should be informing customers before going in so we're made aware. Not to mention it might be more helpful to not have a security guard locking his eyes on your every move, that way you can actually relax and not be so distracted while you shop. Needless to say I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Very helpful staff. They had all my favorite gummies- which I'm particular about because I get paranoid easily. So if you're like me I highly recommend PLUS gummies in Balance or Unwind. Or Wyld Peach gummies that have a 2:1 CBD to THC ratio. I also like some of their other gummies but they're a bit stronger for me but my boyfriend loves them. Also they had a very good deal going where you can buy one get one free on Wednesdays. Hopefully they still have it going :)

Usually not one to right reviews on Yelp EXCEPT when the service is extremely good or absolutely terrible. Sadly, this is not a good one. Mike, the so called "budtender" was very rude in his approach of me asking questions of things I didn't know about. Other times it seemed like he himself didn't even know what he was talking about. His tone was that of an 11 year old who just got broken up with. Very unprofessional

Updating because of the one jerky dude that works here. Everyone else is great! Especially the you ladies- they're extremely helpful. But the one bristly dude is hella rude. He doesn't say "hi", "thank you", "you're welcome", or anything. On the phone, dude is so obviously inconvenienced and looking for a fight. Its pretty gross. I don't want to use this business anymore because of that one guy.

This is my regular spot! Ever since moving to town several months ago, I've been fortunate to enjoy the variety of awesome goodies that ShowGrow has to offer. Everything from edibles to carts to flower are all high quality and reasonably priced. The staff here is very professional, knowledgeable of their inventory, and super friendly (but not in an overbearing way). Jose has gone out of his way to be friendly and to steer me towards the best value options for my needs/wants. If you're on the fence and deciding where to go, definitely give this place a shot.

My name is Joel I stopped off at show grow as a casual customer and just looked around as soon as I left I was accused of shop lifting by the security guard Rich, and by Breana Valencia telling me that they would review it on there cameras. There policy is if you buy nothing your automatically considered to be a thief. I took absolutely nothing and had no interest in anything I was treated terrible the service is horrible I didn't even get an apology and I strongly suggest to not shop from this store they are horrible inconsiderate stupid people. This place should be put out of business. Only when I started to threaten them with a lawsuit they would back off with there accusations. I would Ike very much to sue this place but I also realize what a pain in the ass it is to do it. The best punishment for this place is I want all you readers who are reading this is to shop somewhere else and hopefully we can hurt this business and if we all group together and shop somewhere else we can successfully put this place out of business I also heard that this place  has been cheating on it's taxes which is a crime. Someone should call the IRS on them you can be rewarded as a whistle blower and get a nice reward for turning this business in. The weed suck just as much as the price tag  it was so dry mite as weal be dust wen i smoke it my throat felt like sand paper farmer did not flush i smoke all the chemicals  i took 1 hit and give the rest to my friend it was so grose  i wish i could get a refund this weed should not be sold they should make edibles or  something I'm definitely not coming back here unless I'm desperate

I went to ShowGrow to shop and it's truly amazing in there. Really cool cannabis brands and lots of edibles that I have yet to try. I bought some Jeeter infused pre rolls and a Good Joints Indica pre roll. Both did not disappoint. There's a lot of stuff that I want to try so I will be coming back. The staff is always friendly and professional as well.

Time after time Show Grow proves to be the best dispensary in San Diego. If it isn't for their amazing low prices, it's their amazing staff. Pinky, Jasmine...they are all great and incredibly knowledgeable. If I have a problem with a cartridge they have amazing customer service to help me fix it up. I highly recommend coming here, hardly ever a wait!

Really poor experience here. I was the only customer in the shop, and despite their being two employees there, no one stopped to help me. The poor security guard was following me around for a while... I thought it was because he thought I was going to steal something, but he actually wanted to help me pick out some good weed. Side note - the selection here is really lame. Don't waste your time. Go elsewhere.

Definitely don't recommend this spot. Cheap doesn't always mean quality even for prepackaged products!First time coming ordered online for curbside pickup. Called when arrived and the girl asked if I wanted her to bring it out or come inside?! What kind of question is that when I am calling for CURBSIDE? -Lazy af! Second attempt- again ordered online. I somehow ordered the wrong strain in the same brand. Picked up opened the bag to see the wrong product went directly in side and asked to exchange. This all happen with in less than 5 mins. I was told no refunds or exchanges! Lol! What kind of world is this that you can not EXCHANGE an unopened product for 50$? Such a simple ACT OF KINDNESS that could have easily been resolved and kept me a loyal customer. Unfortunately I would NEVER return nor recommend this shop. Torrey Holistic it is then!

The most chill and affordable spot in SD. Employees are awesome. Locals get 5% off of every purchase.

I have been a fairly regular customer here, have spent thousands and always tip well. I was extremely disappointed when I came in to exchange a wax cartridge I had purchased earlier that day and was denied, something I've never had a problem with anywhere else. ShowGrow has now lost my business over a simple $35 cartridge, I will be taking my business back to THCSD - worth the extra 15 minute drive...

1 star for the cheap skate owner enforcing the mask mandate and not providing masks to your own employees and customers.

ShowGrow is awesome, great prices for everyone. All of the flower is quality whether you spend or not...Letting people look at the flower samples is a huge plus that I haven't seen anyone else do. Super clean, and everybody is friendly and gives on point recommends, 10 stars!

Jasmine has got to be the best employee there she has a great attitude and she's amazing with customer's. She really goes above and beyond and this shop is very lucky to have her working there.

I had a great experience here. It's a little cheesy but all the dispensaries are. The end result is that I was satisfied and the people were extremely nice. It is commonplace in almost all dispensaries for the staff to be so "friendly", it comes off as condescension but I get it and would rather have that by far than a rude or disinterested employee experience. They were pushing a "Pride month" agenda a little which again, I get it but I would rather just go talk to someone who is just there to help me pick the best product for me rather than push their personal agenda on their customers. I must repeat that my experience was good and overall I'm pleased. I left with a satisfactory product and will return.

Thanks to the staff at ShowGrow! I came all the way from Atlanta, GA to visit a dispensary for the first time and my experience was great! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about all the products. Store was clean and well lit. I really enjoyed the fact that you are allowed to look at and smell the flowers before you purchase them. I can't wait to come back!

Great value products. Bang for your buck. Surprisingly high quality for such reasonable costs. WAY BETTER than Mankind Dispensary (in which is only a block or two away from this dispensary.) Nice security, and staff members. Usually never have to wait that long whenever I go.

For a legal store, its pretty good. Prices are decent, until tax hits of course. They carry some decent brands, but don't seem to get new ones often, unless I'm just not seeing it. They let you walk around and open jars to inspect before purchasing, which is awesome. I still wish a legal place would just set up like jars in cases and budtenders to show me the bud, but this is next best. They will help if you ask for it, I did and was directed by a knowledgeable employee.
