For the incredibly frustrating and limited experience of trying to order with your establishment today, FYI there IS curbside pick available at OTHER dispensaries. Might be something to look into.  This single mom doesn't have anyone to watch my son now due to covid. lost my business before it could even happen.Edit: thank you for your response. I could not use the express pick up because my baby was in the car and I cannot leave him with anyone due to Covid and I could not take him in and obviously I could not leave him in the car that was the biggest issue curbside pick up would've made that not an issue.

I did not have a good experience here. I was with my partner and despite being in the same household I was forced to step away from my partner through my experience. Later my partner was even forced out of the store and I felt preferred bias towards myself and I thought that was very rude. I was rushed, my partner was kicked out bc they only wanted the person paying there, which I thought was transactional and cold of them. They did not allow me to save space and stand with my partner. And despite it not evening being busy they forced my partner to leave. I top of that these staff were not practicing social distancing themselves but enforcing it upon us, even though were from the same household. Rude staff who don't seem to give a care for you or not. Not coming back.

Urbn Leaf does a great job. They are speedy quick, and they are also super friendly. Izzy was my budtender today. Amazing! They told me about the products for animals (and how to save on them). They also educated me A TON on the differences in the cannabis strains I was choosing from. Thanks, Izzy! Zac is also an amazing budtender. You are in good hands!

absolutely not .  I didn't realize security could be intimidating and a joke .  reminded me of obnoxious bouncers at a douche bag club .  many other dispensaries close by with  better informed staff and product .  Don't waste your time or money here .  this store is poorly managed and overrated . thank you for my terrible experience , I won't be shopping here ever again .

Go here if you're visiting from out of town or whenever!! Jacob hooked it up with the best products that fit our needs. He was beyond helpful and so incredibly nice. I'd say our visit was great and successful because of him! Def a 5/5 :)

Giving three stars because I've been here pre-covid and would have given it 5 stars but now it's like we're treated like cattle. The employees were very kind but these covid protocols are ridiculous to say the least. I came here with my mom to show her the storefront because of how impressed I was in the past but I couldn't even stand next to her in order to help show her things or explain products etc. I understand that covid-19 is serious but to make family members distance from each other- WHEN THEY CAME TOGETHER- is over kill. I really hope management figures this out.

I called in my order to Urban Leaf and went to pick it up.  On the way, I decided to change part of what I got, I felt kind of bad since I called it in.  I got budtender Jeff F. and explained I wanted to change the order if that was ok.  He was so kind and very knowledgeable about the products and was very nice and professional about my canceling my original order.  He was a good example of what customer service is all about.

Like the vibe of professionalism but the tax is crazy . You can go to Upnorth in vista  witch is a legal dispensary as well and get top quality eighth for 21 after taxes.  Hear there cheapest eighth is 25 and ends up coming out too 39.00 dollars. Almost 12 dollar tax on everything . Not worth it.  Both are in vista and in compliance. I have not payed that much since 2003 when I would meet someone at a gas station . Quality is the same , so not the reason.

Worst experience ever the dude doesn't no anything about cannabis, I work in the cannabis industry currently and I know the insAnd outs about the whole business and these people don't know nothing, they need to hire people that know about the business some person that know retail experience it's ridiculous

Writing a positive review because I looked through all the one star reviews and they're the most ridiculous, petty, nonsensical one star reviews I think I've ever read. So many people are kookoo. I've been to the place probably 5 or 10 times and never had a bad experience. It's a gorgeous set up, super high-quality, and everyone is super nice. I don't even know what there is to complain about.

I've been going here for around two years now. They have a fantastic selection of whatever your preferred method of getting elevated happen to be. I personally prefer flower, and its great! Especially if you get an oz. at a time, the prices are fantastic!I spoke over the phone with Lasondra, the Deliveries Supervisor on the 16th, which happens to be my birthday. You really made my day special, and I appreciate that. Also, she knows how to recommend the perfect strain for your needs!! That Sweeties strain i received is pure  Customer service is highly important to me. Each employee I have spoken to over the years has been courteous and helpful. I appreciate all of the drivers as well. It's a really hard time right now, especially with the potential risks that drivers and store personnel go through every day. Have gone here 3 times and each time they have had to re enter my information in. Then they have the audacity to come up to me WHILE I am purchasing stuff and try to tell me I can't be in there bc I am 19 and my med card expired only for me to be walked out then let back in bc my med card wasn't actually even expired it still has a month left on it. I handed my boyfriend my money and walked out bc I was embarrassed and so anxious. I have autism and social anxiety and it is hard for me to go out and do these things and this was just a completely awful experience and I will never be returning. There are so many wonderful dispensaries in san diego that treat you with kindness and hostility, unlike this place. Have never ONCE had a good experience here. Super overpriced too.

Loved this place the first time I visited with my ID that was already expired but accepted that time. Then the second time I come back not only did they accept my phone in order and not tell me to bring a passport but told me after I drove all the way down there ready as ever to pick up my order and got turned around at the door. Maybe do a better job consistently enforcing rules, maybe do a better job taking phone orders? Not too sure as I don't own one of these. But if I did I sure as shit wouldn't turn a paying customer around at the front door.

This was my 2nd time doing online ordering since COVID started, and still you have to wait in a long line with walk-up customers....I don't want to wait around with a load of other people just so I can catch the damn disease.Also, they didn't even have 1/2 of the products I ordered, they are a large shop with plenty of money...get your shit together and have some type of inventory management.  Their workers act like its the only place in town, and it sure isn't.....before full legalization when it was medical only the store was better run, better prices, better staff...now I will just take my money elsewhere.

I love this place. So convenient, always well stocked, huge selection and a quick view of the website menu shows the extreme quantity of products available.Multiple locations in San Diego makes them a staple of the community.

I've been coming here for over a year and I've never once been disappointed. I just got home after making my purchases this evening, November 27,2020. I'm not one to "review" much because, well I honestly don't think about it too much. I'm just so grateful though so here we go -I apologize in advanced that I do not remember the greeter's name, but they are the most inviting, personable, and down right enjoyable person I have ever come in (socially distant) contact with. When they greet you, you feel as if you're speaking with one of those good friends that you don't contact often but always pick back up where you left off. You simply CANNOT be upset while walking in because they are such a bright light of a being. The facility and staff as a whole is inviting in an inclusive manner. Staff members seem to truly enjoy not only being there but being around one another as coworkers. My budtender today was Andrea and she's, respectfully, the cutest ever. She was so welcoming and helpful to the point where I completely forgot to ask if their ornaments, that are presented on their beautiful Christmas tree located in the waiting lobby, were for sale. I want one so bad lol. Seriously, I told my self over 20 times while I was waiting to immediately ask about the ornaments before getting to the good stuff.‍ Anyways, after loving their facility and their products for a substantial amount of time, I knew I needed to make my PSA regarding my experience. The vibe is immaculate and I'm grateful to be fortunate enough to even have these experiences.

I have been using Urban Leaf since they opened and have always been a fan of their selection although they certainly are more of a pick quick and get out kind of dispensary. Their house grows are great however our last experience makes me reconsider that notion. My mother in law and wife went in to get some goodies, I was on the phone with them to help them navigate their selection. They were deciding between two items and somehow once they made their choice the other option made it into the bag. They didn't realize it until they got home so I called them to see if we could stop back in. First they said all sales were final by law which is not the case at all, there is no law against returns. Then they said they would do it but we would have to go there and then wait while they watched the footage to see who was right. Then I asked for the manager who told me my mother in law would have to come back in herself to do it.  Even if it went against policy they could have made other arrangements, offered to switch them with a delivery (given I would find something else to order which is never tough in a dispensary), offered a deal on the one we actually wanted if we kept both, offered to do a quick pick up order rather than making us wait while they "reviewed the video" and maybe not lied about it being illegal to accept returns or exchanges. Stores even so much as the great dispensaries are still retail and owe the customer a kindness for choosing them and that's certainly not the experience we had in this case.

Recently moved from San Francisco and I found my new "home" dispensary. Wide selection and specials every day of the week. Taylor took ample time with me when going over the different specials as well as products offered. I did not feel rushed or pressured for taking a little longer deciding than the other patients (I still refer to us as patients... it's an SF thing!) Her kindness and wealth of knowledge will be the main reasons why I will be back. Brownie points for the Covid protocols and social-distancing!

First visit.. picked up two sativa oils. I like them both and their e pen was super cheap and of good quality. Service is great. Budtender was helpful and happy to help. It was a very cool first experience at a recreational bud dispensary. Seems like a popular place... there were a lot of people waiting. I would definitely visit them again my next visit to SD.

Security and treatment from this store made me feel I am here to buy something that I am not suppose to buy, Based on recent reviews here I think everyone faced the same treatment. I definitely did not get the feel good experience from this boutique. make it customer friendly place, you can't treat customers the way you are doing with covid protocols as a reason. we all want to practice safety, don't make others feel they are not being responsible and practicing distancing and other covid protocols. Fix it!

What a horrible 1st time experience.I came here as a 1st time customer expecting to get either a first time discount or a military discount because I'm a veteran. (So because of the Corona virus I'm outside the door with my care giver being that I'm in a wheelchair).  After discussing with the Bud tender on what kind of weed I want, I decide on a half an ounce of forbidden fruit.  My friend meet me back in the Van with the half an ounce of weed, $156 and NO discount later... So I roll my a** out of my Van to speak with the same lady that helped. AFTER my purchase she tells me Oh, no discount on the half an ounce but if you buy smaller quantities there are discounts.  I'm pissed because nowhere does it say you have to buy a certain amount to get a discount. WTF

They searched my purse that's ok then put a wand around my body made me take out my id. They wouldn't let my friend come with me. If I could give them a minus I would. They were rude and acted like they were the police. Im a senior with a medical condition I was made to feel like a criminal. There are many other better and nicer places that I haven't been accosted but treated like a paying customer. Don't bother going here!

Wow I wish I remember by bud tender. She helped me get some little things...she helped so much and was so knowledgeable! What a great experience

I have never in my life had more AWFUL SEXIST AND DEGRADING experience in my life. It is my 21st bday, I was visibly excited, even wearing a light up sash over my bandeau top. However, as my sister and I walked in a staff member told us that we had to "cover up" because there was a dress code. I have never in my adult life EVER been told I needed to "cover up". We immediately left and went to the car. Upon seeing how upset my sister was, I went back and inquired about this so called "dress code". The man then said that he had gotten complaints from other people & the manager. I had not even made it in the place yet, I was still in line and NO ONE was in the waiting room. So I then requested to get the manager, who said he NEVER complained about my shirt, and there is NO DRESSCODE. He said I was free to come shop - f*ck that and your business. First off, other women had small crop tops and booty shorts on, but they were being let in. However, because my sister and I are bigger breasted we were discriminated against. I have never felt more disrespected and disgusted in my life. There is no excuse to make comments like that to any woman. If you love the women in ur life, don't support this trashy SEXIST sh*thole of a company.

Great place to stop by for your meds, unfortunately you have to pass the grumpy lady security guard before entering into pot heaven.... I understand these people think they are a somebody protecting the valuables in the shop but seems like she has something extra going on with her with that Attitude... horrible customer service since that's how the experience starts off.

Staff is ok. I guess they're nice. But whoever is in charge of that store doesn't know how to run it. They ALWAYS have employees just standing around. And have customers waiting. And I have been there over 10 times. Just because of the convenience of having it close to me but I rather go all th way down to San ysidro. I was just there I counted 12 employees. And they had 4 people being taken care of. And I was waiting. Why ? Don't come here.

Booooooooo! This place is such hype it's unbelievable. Hype. All hype.A friend said to go there because his first time hook up was 5g for $28 out the door. Went out of my way and waited in traffic to get here, I couldn't seem to find the damn bus everyone talks about that's always obnoxiously parked two blocks away from my house and is not there now.The weed is prepackaged so you take a gamble on it, if it sucks then you already spent the money. Unless of course you buy $60 1/8 and up then you can you can check that stuff out, that's a little crooked.I said I must be in the wrong place. I walked out. Going to Chula Vista and waiting until happy hour and actually getting to see what you're buying.What a horrible experience. I also had to mention it was my first time, the guy had no clue.Grossly long line as well. Awful, just awful.

This was so disappointing. It was my first Californian dispensary. I went in before I started my chemotherapy treatments looking for RSO and other things to help with my pain/dwindling appetite. The greeter was extremely sweet, sympathetic and helpful. However, Covid restrictions didn't allow me to view product or even hear what the bud tender was saying. When I explained to him my condition and that I was willing to spend at least a grand on product but needed more assistance, he told me to have a great day so I just left and went to Golden Bloom where I was treated with respect.

From the moment we walked in it was just bad energy. The security officer was rude and pushy. There was no direction (which is what new comers look for). Bud tender was condescending when answering our questions. Walked out of there paying just under $100 for 1/4 of flower  and it's nothing special. Will not be returning here and do not recommend.

I've never done business with these guys. However, they are making scam texts to my phone number. They sent a message saying my order was being processed. I never made an order. The text came from 1-202-844-6324 telling me to call 1-619-275-2235. I called. I was put on hold immediately. While all this was going on, my husband was checking all of our accounts to be sure all was secure and no charges had been made. Not cool. At all. Thanks for the scary morning guys.

Beautiful dispensary. I'm surprised I've never heard of them to be honest.It's located in Linda Vista/Morena Blvd and parking is extremely tight and tricky, so I would stay clear during peak hours. This dispensary sets itself apart from others I've been to mainly due to their proprietary merchandise and overall advertisement and look of their "brand." In other words, their merchandise looks good, it is quality, and they know how to sell it.The workers are friendly and personable. I love dispensaries that you can talk to with others and feel like you're their friend... that's selling you weed (legally, of course). I've only been to this location once, but my main comment is that they are on the pricier end. Like I said - their brand looks GOOD. You get what you pay for, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you can't get the same quality for cheaper. This is, in fact, a high-end "boutique," after all. For instance, during my visit (I bought an 1/8th and a "healing balm"), I spent about $80.00. It would have easily been $100+ if it wasn't for the discount. I really do like the CBD healing balm I bought and I am curious to explore its medicinal effects as I am a strength athlete and I am constantly SORE AF.Anyway, you are weed-friendly and would like splurge on some THC and CBD products, I recommend checking them out. Just don't be mad if the parking sucks :)

I bought a $50 product from this place that was defective. It did not work at all. They refused to do an exchange in spite of my receipt being in the system. Do not buy from this place is you expect to have any issues returning a product. They will not accept it back .I will never come here again

One of the first dispensaries I went to out here in SD. On the inside, there 2 lines, one for med patients and the other for adult use. The lines always move pretty fast since they have plenty of budtenders taking orders. You have to go to the counter and ask them what it is you want, I don't think I've ever been able to open a container to smell the flower tho. However, $25 for an eighth of loose nugs ain't too bad.

I love this place!Everyone says the people here are rude and the service sucks but the company seems very fair and legitimate to me. They have great deals, great policies, and the shop is very clean and well organized. Keep it up!

I stopped here while in SD because well it is legal and I wanted a few things.I came early afternoon on Thursday to a little bit of line. They keep it moving fast which was nice. Once I was working one and one with the employee he was able to help me get exactly what I was looking for. Be sure to check out their website ahead of time so you have an idea of what they have, brands, etc. Anyway, I was a little over budget but luckily there was an ATM inside and outside. I took out additional money I needed, used my veteran's discount, and was on my merry way.

Visiting for the winter. It's .7 miles of flat paved trails well marked from my place to there. My route takes me by 5 taverns, 4 restaurants and a liquor store. I love living in town. The pot is nicely packaged and clearly marked THC-CBD quantities.  Try a couple of grams of their best everything. Starts at $10

WOW!!!! I have always loved this store, until I had a run in with a worthless manager named "Andrea" who was rude, and incompetent! She tells me a 4hr plus wait for delivery is normal, and acceptable. Then proceeds to berate and belittle me for expressing my grievances. Interrupting me and trying to hush me. That is NOT how a manager acts, and no CUSTOMER spending hundreds each time should be treated that way, or wait 4+ hours for a delivery!! GO ELSEWHERE! It's legal in California and we have lots and lots of options. This place will NEVER see my business again! Worst ever! And unprofessional!

This place has always been good to me over the years. Always good vibes, friendly staff and bud tenders, not too long of a wait, decent options and prices, easy to park. COVID precautions seemed reasonable to me. I normally like to go in the mornings when it's not too busy and everyone's getting started.

California really has their stuff together when it comes to the cannabis! :)  Urbn Leaf is a great example.  You check in, they verify your ID (21 and up). You are then let back to check out the goods.  Two lines.  One for medical users and the other for casual.  Once you're up a knowledgeable "budtender" is more than happy to help you in your selection.  I went for the some edibles - some chocolate chip cookies ($22) and a dark chocolate raspberry chocolate bar ($26)  Both DECEPTIVELY potent so PLEASE adhere to the instructions or prepare yourself for a wild ride :)A few cons.  When you enter, you're frisked by one of the ARMED guards.  I guess cannabis is serious bizness!  :(  There is no menu, yet there is a HUGE selection so if you don't know what you're looking for you are at the mercy of the "budtenders"  This wasn't a huge problem since they were nice, but it would've been nice to just see everything laid out so you can just pick and choose.  Lastly, this is a cash only business!  Though you can use your DEBIT card, no credit cards accepted.  I have a feeling this has something to with the feds still making pot illegal.  There are two ATMs if you need cash though.  All in all a fun experience!  Hopefully with a new Governor, Illinois will finally step into the 21st century and legalize!Oh, FYI, if you're headed back home via plane and you still have leftover edibles, no worries, TSA doesn't check.  I mean, they're the TSA, not DEA!  So enjoy

With marijuana now legal for recreational use, we thought we'd visit while on vacation. We happened to be there during 420 and figured we'd check out what they had for sale. The line out the door was a little intimidating but they did a really good job of keeping it moving by checking people in ahead of going inside. They had chips and water for while people waited and all the staff was friendly and welcoming despite the amount of people. I assume it's not normally like this. In terms of crowds. The bud tender was very nice and helpful for us, who don't know much about weed and they had a lot of buy one get one for $1 sales. My birthday was the day before and they give you a free joint if your birthday is the day before, on or after the date of your visit. The lobby/waiting area was clean and modern.

NOT WORTH THE HASSLE I went there today and their Covid regulations are completely ridiculous and the staff were very rude! So I came here with my boyfriend they wouldn't let us to shop together unless we were both making individual purchases?? They made us be 6ft from each other and 8ft from the counters blocking it off with rope   making it IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE THE PRODUCT , Impossible for me to even hand my money ! The employee told me I need to go get glasses if I can't see !!! (Rude)  and then said he cant help me and my boyfriend at the same time due to Covid when we are 6P feet apart from each other and 8 ft apart  from him  & EVERYONE IS WEARING MASK &  ONLY LIMITED PEOPLE IN AT ONCE ..(What the hell is the problem???) He said one of us had to go outside when the  security guard told us something different (that's why we were both inside)  .. we COULDNT look at the products together ! couldn't see anything ! Wasn't able to come to a decision together  ..IT JUST WASNT WORTH THE HASSLE !! We took our money to KLOVER DISPENSARY  where we  got a  FAST clean easy  private shopping experience somewhere else

Second time now the big rude security guard picks and chooses who he lets it. If you ride together, even though.....you are not a couple, you do not pay bills together, no ties financially, two separates purchases....he refuses to let you in. Last time the manager found out, and personally went to my son and had him call me to come in. The guy felt dumb. Now here we are again. This time, it's my daughter. Same situation. Complete BS. You should be able to shop for your own purchases. Regardless of how you got there. My opinion, take your money elsewhere. They clearly don't want it. Customer service is so important. Need to learn some or leave the industry.

So I came here with my girlfriend ,and we always just shop under one person . But when we went to check in they told us that even tho we are together we have to be six feet apart. Last time I checked it was of you arent living together. San Diego county doesnt require you to be 6 ft apart if you are with a spouse . I wouldn't come back to this place and also because of the staff . I don't expect them to be all happy go lucky but don't be rude especially if I'm a new customer. I definitely won't be referring any people here.

Great customer service and experience, from the moment of checking in to the associate helping us at the counter we gave her a list of items and she made suggestions and covered all of them. Excellent selection of pre-rolls, edibles, cartridges and bud. 10 minutes north of downtown but worth the drive.

Personally, I am not a smoker (Or at least not anymore I should say),I came here with a group to check out the location and inventory.They have a private parking lot, although limited parking spaces (and tight), they also have street parking as well.Upon entry, they check your ID at the door,and then you line up, and they check you in at the front desks.Make sure you bring cash,or you can withdraw cash from an ATM inside.They do not take card transactions even though they have fancy point of sale machines at every station, which I find very odd.Then you enter a room in the back,which you can only enter by having the security guard open it for you.In the back room, you have to line up, and wait for an employee to assist you.Im quite surprised at how packed this place gets,and how many employees they have! And each wall they carry the same products. From edibles to pens to regular weed. They pretty much have everything you need. Just tell them what you want or what they recommend and they'll happily assist you.Overall, the place is a bit compact, but very bright, clean, and professional.

Uhhh... do it!Yep, you heard it, all you need to do is download an app like weedmaps, search for Urbn Leaf, browse your old skool faves and some of their newest products, throw them in your virtual cart, and hightail it over to Bay Park to pick it up. The best part? No line! If you've been here when the bus pulls up or when it's super busy you know that this line can drive you bananas. So what are you waiting for? Run over to what I think is the best dispensary in San Diego (after your online order) and find your fix. For me, I hate getting high and and hesitate on even calling myself a recreational user, but my sleep has never been better now that I've found the proper products.

I could go on about many bad things that have happened as a customer over the 2-3 years, but I decided to keep this review to one subject. The quality of the flower they sell is not good for the high prices.  I wanted the best quality flower they had and the worker brought out two types that tested THC at: 22% and 23%....that is the best they had? Thats selling for mid range prices elsewhere and it was $60 or $65 for an eighth of it at Urban Leaf.  What a rip-off...  Other shops have 30%-32%THC flower for a cheaper. Don't bother with this dispensery its overpriced, small, doesnt get strong flower, and their Covid precautions are overboard and paranoid.   They act like they are special, but definitely  sub-par.

this place is really nice, and has a huge variety, and love the ordering online for a pick up...  it's very popular so I suggest mornings and before 4 pm to come in to avoid huge lines.

This was a great experience. Coming from Rhode Island where this is all still foreign to us, everyone was super nice and super helpful. While visiting San Diego I had searched for locations near by. Urbn Leaf stood out amongst all the others. I also noticed that they had a $50 for $75 deal on Yelp. When we arrived we had several areas to wait in. Again, they were super helpful so they guided us thru each step. Once inside we made our selections based off of the knowledgeable and greatly appreciated advice from James who helped us. We would gladly return next time we are in town! Thanks for making our trip fantastic!

Bullshit store, made me wait so long just to tell me " you have a bad note on your # you won't be able to go to any stores but we will let you shop here for today." Is this a joke ? I came for a vacation to SD 1 day ago and turned 21 a month ago. Just had gone to 2 other stores before this one!  Unacceptable and unprofessional.

This is not my primary dispensary of choice, but due to time constraints I came here with 10 minutes to spare before they closed on a Wednesday night. Check in was fast and I was seated in the lounge. A few minutes passed, and I noticed that the staff was instructing security to close the doors even though it wasn't 9pm. I visited to pick up a few Sativa Pre rolls. I was brought a single Pre roll, but then asked for a pack instead. What I left with was 5 heavy indica packed Pre rolls. I appreciate the inattentiveness of my bud tender and do not know what was lost in the translation of asking for Sativa Pre rolls and you sell me indicas. This will always be my last resort for cannabis.

I use to like coming to this shop every-time I visit family, but not anymore I don't support when a business doesn't do what's right for their customers especially when the made a mistake!I went in and bought 3 pre rolls because I was to get on a plane later that day .. I was short one pre roll when I opened the the container I called the manager he said he couldn't do anything but offer a discount on my next purchase ?? Wow ... didn't know a 10$ pre roll would be such an issue for this place of business and more ! When the mistake was on their behalf ! This was a waste of gas and time and u expect me to come and buy more from you ? When I'm on vacation and ur shop was. 20-25 min drive from where I was ... I advise people to weight out their flowers and products ...

Urbn Leaf was recommended to us by some of our friends while we were staying in the SD area. The front of the house staff was friendly. They even had two ATM machines on site. The sleek design of the building was cool & welcoming. We were greeted by a friendly face. That face was Gary. He listened to our needs & what we enjoy, he was able to answer all our questions and also had great suggestions. That being said, *the options were minimal & lacking variety *the preroll(s) were dead... we purchased 3 and it was a waste. We also purchased from a different store, a delivery option, and everything was fine with their product. I would try Urbn Leaf again. I like their vibe. I like how welcoming they are. I like Gary. We were just disappointed with our experience. I wish we had gotten our money's worth while we were vacationing in the city.

What happened to my favorite dispensary? This is the first time I've ordered delivery that I can remember and it took 2 1/2 hours to get to me from about a mile away. UNACCEPTABLE. It's a Monday morning! It would've been one star but this joint has had an exemplary past.

The place is poorly run.  The website does not show crucial information needed to order on line. Like cbd and thc percentages and accurate listing of products.  The advertising is fantastic they know how to fill your phone and email with ads on line.So consequently you cannot get in the preorder line also used for med patients and take cuts from ordering on line.  The industry rewards dishonesty by allowing medical to go first, people often lies to get medical cards. Why not get cuts in line. Honesty is not rewarded here.  Party stores do not let the medical needy alcoholics go first.After going to pot stores four states and two countries my conclusion is the line out the door is by design.  Who else advertises like crazy then cannot deliver a working website or hire enough people to do the job while charging top dollar making hand over fist in money

If anyone is wondering why the black market is still thriving in California, just head over to this fine establishment and abracadabra your dollar is no longer worth the paper it's printed on.I don't know any of the crew there and I'm not hating on anyone who isn't directly involved in setting the prices...but with that said...Nicely packaged dog sh*t is still dog sh*t, and you gotta be a special kind of dirtbag, for example, to sell half gram joints of brown for almost $10 to Southern California smokers in the year 2019. You wanna weigh them with the crutch and paper so you can label them .7? Get it. But is having a little self-respect and throwing some real smoke in that bad boy if it's costing $10 too much to ask? I'm NOT hating on the hustle. If people are willing to pay it, charge it. But how are you guys going to flex like you're some elite San Diego brand (the billboards, the fancy storefront, and the party bus seen all over town) while pushing that garbage? I mean it's not like you won't still be getting your money if you shoot a halfway decent product, even if it's the shake from the dank instead of the stress my girl got sent out with today. Sell the crap joints for $3, hell even $5, but if someone comes through to buy a preroll for $10 you better give them their money's worth. ESPECIALLY if you're passing a half gram (or less) as .7.I've gone to GC, Med Men, and Mankind over the past several days to grab one pre-roll just to see what all the different places have to offer. All three sent us out with a solid gram joint of straight fire for $10. Choose any of these places over Urbn if you wanna get that hitter.

While I'm not a regular at this store, i have been a customer a fair amount of times there. When they first opened, super busy of course but solid. Every visit has slowly become worse. Bud tenders are not friendly and seem like they don't enjoy working there. paying $1.30 for a reusable bag is a joke as the company keeps getting $ while hurting the environment. I get Select cartridges and most of the time they aren't even full all the way, such a joke. If I'm paying for this, customers deserve a full cartridge. It only happens to me at this location. I'd hope they aren't tampering with it but honestly i could see them don't it so customers have to keep coming back for more. Not coming back. Do better.

Unfortunately I would no longer recommend this place (or any LEGAL, state regulated CA dispensary for that matter). When I came here prior to recreational legalization, they had a great product selection and very reasonable prices. I used to buy their 'select' brand cartridges for $50 total including all taxes and fees. Then, January 1st came around and that same cartridge went to $68. Then it went to $73. Now I believe its over $80 per cartridge. The prices seem to go up everytime I return. I had to draw the line somewhere and now I can no longer afford to buy that cartridge from them. Today I paid $16 for edibles with 100 MG THC. I've paid the same price for 300 MG at 'underground' dispensaries. I understand this is the state's fault, not the store's, however as the customer I do not care. Unless money is no object to you, I would recommend checking out weedmaps.com to see some great local underground dispensaries that CA hasn't dipped their greedy hands into. Though I enjoy this store and I've always had a pleasant experience with the staff, I cannot justify spending the extra money and I will not return.

Can't believe I got turned around because of a crack in my Id after going to this place for years. I am a Veteran too this is how they treat vets.I go to this shop 6 times a week and still got turned down when everyone knows me and I told them I had caught the bus up there today. I just want to let everyone know to make sure u have ur Id in perfect condition because if not you will not get service. Thanks just though it was unfair after being a loyal customer.

I'm taking back my 1 star from last week. I went in with the same problem and a different budtender and manager handled my issue like pros. Thomas and Jen (the one always rocking the chargers mask) are amazing.

This spot always treats customers like gold. Whether in-store shopping or over the phone, you are never rushed. The staff always takes the time to make the best recommendations possible based on your specific goals. Their product is incredible and their daily discounts are smart.

It would be one star if the deals weren't so fire. It's barely worth ordering online/on the phone, they'll still keep you waiting for longer than you thought possible to pick one thing off the shelf. Also, it doesn't say this anywhere, but you need to be a California resident to take advantage of their deals. If you're a tourist, do not waste your time here. Go to March and ash instead

I went there one day just with my friend and decided that I would try some of their flower. The staff was pretty helpful, they had a big selection, and Their cartridges were pretty cheap. I'll definitely go back, despite the High taxes

When Urbn leaf opened their prices were high but bearable.I used to get an ounce of "shake " for 110 dollars .NOW   they say we dont have any ounces .What they did was repackage the shake in half ounces and raise the price 25 dollars a half ounce . WHAT A RIP OFF !!GREEDY GREEDY GREEDY

Not good/// went there twice already and looks like their prices are going to the moon. Staff members don't really listen to you all they want to do it's trying to sell you the most expensive items.I also feel like their inventory it's getting smaller and not any better in quality.Save your self a lot of time and just order a delivery in from one of your local delivery business.

Hands down one of the best dispensaries I've ever been to. Joel was suchhhhh a great help and actually knew what he was talking about (rare). The products were awesome and the service was immaculate. The aesthetic in there is so nice, you just feel like it's a luxury store but for weed haha. Prices are affordable and they have a variety of different prices and strains. 10/10 recommend!!

I bought the yelp deal and also scored with a FTP deal of a $45-eighth for only $1 (with min purchase). Nice clean dispensary that stocks my favorite vape cartridge company, Select. Easy registration for recreational. May want to avoid going near closing time...it was hectic. Overall great experience.

Admittedly, I was pretty nervous about my first recreational purchase. Actually. I am pretty nervous during almost EVERY recreational purchase, especially if I want to try something new. So when researching where to go, Urbn Leaf's vibe really seemed like my jam.And luckily, it was.Everyone has been incredibly friendly, and are always willing to help me navigate this new (to me) space. Lines are well-managed and for the most part, pretty quick (except on weekends). They have daily specials for medical patients, but their normal prices also seem pretty competitive. Note that they do not take cards but do have an ATM inside. They also have delivery, which has never taken more than 30 minutes for me.

I've been to many dispensaries and have never been treated this poorly..Covid regulations were ridiculous and felt as if my business was not welcome. They demanded to KNOW if we were going to buy something..God help me that I didn't know and wanted to consult with my friend that I came with. I tried to explain to the guy at the register helping me and he took it as me being "rude"..and states that "we don't do that here" ...ummm..don't do what? Let two people decide what they want to buy together? Lol Maybe be a little more customer service friendly buddy and a little less sensitive..smoke some bud guy, take the edge off and relax :)..proud of you guys for maintaining the safety of your guests but learn to do it in a more polite manner next time..there are plenty of other dispensary's..don't waste your time here

First time coming here and I was really impressed. Easy check-in, clean and organized facility, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. My 'budtender' took her time with me and helped me to find what would be best suited for me. I didn't feel rushed or bothersome with my questions. A really great experience. I look forward to returning.

Overall, Urbn Leaf was a 5/5 experience. Only gave 4 stars because I wish there was some sort of menu or selection to read while waiting in line and I didn't really like that it says "drug" on the bag but everything we got was really great and tasted amazing and worked as advertised. Ryan, our bud tender, was a great help and gave us some great tips for stretching out budget. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Hands down the longest lines in town. Three different ID checks and three separate waiting rooms. 39 minutes from entry to exit. 4 minutes dealing with budtender. If you value your time. Don't waste it here.

This is the place in the county.  Try them before you choose your favorite.  It is an open glass view on a nice street.  It does not feel like visiting a prison.  They have everything including Dosist and many other special brands.  Low to high-end flower/bud, all clearly labeled.  Many edible choices.  Dosist pens are great for lack of odor and smooth delivery.  Smoke in a hotel room without a concern for alarms or odor.  List prices are a little higher than average, but they discount for regular customers and offer a lot of specials.  Staff is much more educated than most locations.  You will get exactly what you buy.  I know from reviews that is not always the case with delivery.  ID and metal detection at the front door, friendly.  Get in a short line for window, quick ID check and then into the big store as others exit.  Fast line as there are at least 4 complete sections that repeat every product so up to 10 staff are taking the next person and products can be fully reviewed and discussed.  No rush.

I was a regular here as it was my favorite dispensary but after spending $40 on 5 pre-rolls that WONT LIGHT, and them only being able to credit 15% off my NEXT PURCHASE versus letting me return/exchange the others that aren't lit-I won't be coming here anymore. there are too many dispensaries around to be spending a single dime on one that doesn't care about their customers. See attached photo to get a glance at a pile of tree ash & a clump that fell out because it was rolled by an amateur. thanks urbn- it WAS a pleasure while it lasted!

This place has good variety and the front staff were friendly. However, those were the only good things about the visit. The employee that I interacted with inside had a horrible attitude, like it was a big inconvenience for them to interact with customers. Every question I had was answered with an eye roll. I had to ask several times to see certain products. For a moment, I thought I was on a prank show or something because of how excruciatingly awful the experience was. I would not recommend this place. There are other spots to check out. Don't waste your time here.

Read on one of the comments that this was the Nordstrom of dispensaries and I'd like to agree! Came for some CBD oil and edibles and left very very pleased. The place is very cool, staff is very nice, attentive, and knowledgeable! Line moves fast (even as a first time customer), you are not rushed once you get inside and they answer allllllll of your questions. Left with some good beach pointers as well! I used a yelp deal that was being offered and saved $25. Then purchased more items and used my points. Recommend 100%.

I'm disappointed to say the least. Urbn Leaf was recommended after I moved here from Seattle, where I-502 had been implemented for some time. Having been to a couple of other small dispensaries in SD, I was really looking forward to Urbn Leaf. The budtender was unknowledgeable, unhelpful, and impolite. I'll only list 2 interactions here: I wanted to purchase gummies that have been helping me with shoulder pain; the budtender scoffed and said the product would not help at all (even though the gummies have been alleviating pain for the past month...I wasn't aware the budtender had interviewed my shoulder and was a certified health professional). When I asked about using a voucher I received from SDCC last week, the budtender said it was only good for merchandise, but would not clarify what that entailed. I ended up just throwing the voucher away because the budtender was so condescending.I won't go into how traumatizing it is to be treated like crap in an industry that, in other states, have historically imprisoned people of color. So, I'll just sum it up as poor interpersonal skills and a complete disregard for the customer's needs, and won't be coming back.

Stopped in here for my first ever visit to a dispensary. Within 5 seconds of entering, some ego-infected yahoo, black-on-black commando hate uniform, was waving his magic security wand all over me...like I was Julian Assange or something. Pretty obvious that I was perceived as some sort of threat...I'm an older guy...blue collar...had just finished a job in Mission Hills, so I guess maybe I wasn't dressed the part...or didn't look the part...or maybe he thought I didn't have money, or something, idk. So anyways, as he's attacking me with his coveted wand, I tell him "hey, this is my first time here...maybe my last"...but he could've cared less. By this time, he was maneuvering that saber-sword up into my crotch area. And that's when I finally said "hey, pal, what is going on...?" ..."what the hell are you doing"...?As a customer, I just couldn't possibly go any further. I told him "I'll pass". Naturally, I walked out of there...back to the comfort of my work van...and never to return. Just an incredibly negative...and shocking experience. Wow. What a train-wreck.***and after reading so many of the other reviews on here...it sure seems that bailing outta there was the prudent thing to do...Funny how my instincts always seem to save me...

Why is it that some bud tenders seem like they don't care. Barley greet or gauge in conversation. Aaron was so distracted wouldn't even talking to me. He barley wanted to show me the items I was looking for. This place isn't cheap to get this low rate service.

My wife just had surgery for cancer . The bouncer was 10 feet from the car and could see she was very sick.  We don't have our handicapped plate yet and he would not let us in because we parked in the only handicapped spot.   He was quite an arrogant ass about it to boot. Of course we would have needed to walk blocks since they have provided grossly inadequate parking.  When a business shows this brazen level of contempt for s person who is obviously very sick they should, just on first principles, be boycotted.  Shame on them.

Best dispensary in San Diego. It's the Nordstrom of dispensaries but without all the pretentiousness. Very well kept and plenty of products to choose from. It is a cash only establishment, so make sure to bring the greens ;). There is also a ATM on site. The check in process is smooth which keeps the line going. Just make sure to bring a valid ID. The budtenders are very knowledgeable, and can recommend different strains and concentrations for what you like. Trust me you will want to ask them questions to narrow down your options. The place is like a candy store and you'll get overwhelmed. When I checked out on my first visit I received a first time and locals discount. They also provide rewards points for returning. Always good to keep customers coming back for more. Parking is tough in the lot but plenty on the street. Just make sure you're not driving impaired. Enjoy!!

Horrible first experience. I visited last night to pick up some live rosin. After making the request for "live rosin" not "live resin" very clearly the rep said yes we have that and provided me a list of available strains. I even got an 1/8 of flower for $1 more. I'm thinking hmm this is great! I get home and open the package to find that I was not given live rosin but live resin; two completely different products that run around $90-$100/gram. After calling back the next day to inform about the mix up in an attempt to get an exchange. A female manager says "oh I'm sorry I will reprimand the rep that helped you and talk to her but the best I can do is give you a %15 discount on your next purchase". I will not spend another dollar at this place. Their reps should be more knowledgable and management should make these types of mistakes right.

These guys are awesome. I went in last night around 8PM and my bud tender was super chill, made me comfortable, and listened to what I wanted. He also sold me a special joint for my bfs birthday coming up and gave me good knowledge about edibles. I left with a $16 special pre-roll (I believe he said it was coated with concentrate), a full gram of concentrate for $28 (ask for the house shatter) and I left with the Fire OG minis 1/8th for $25. When I got home and looked at my receipt I noticed they charged me $40 for the 1/8th instead of $25, which is the price that was on the bag and also what the budtender said it was, so I was confused. I called them today and the guy I spoke to was very helpful even though I lost my receipt (I hid it last night so my bf wouldn't see what I got and I hid it too well). He told me that the bud tender accidentally charged me for the $40 minis not the $25. Honest mistake. Then he asked me if I wanted to keep the flower and I said yes, I was happy with this one, so they credited me the $15 back on my account for me which will go towards my next purchase. I am very thankful for them and their hospitality. Would definitely recommend this trustworthy and honest dispensary.

Terrible experience!Be forewarned, you do not want to go to this dispensary. I went here looking for a strain that the sales rep told me they did not carry. She made some other recommendations and ultimately I settled. While the transaction was processing I started looking up the recommendations. I didn't like what I saw so I went to their website as I started to leave and saw that they did in fact carry what I wanted.  I went back in and explained that I wanted the specific item from their website, and wanted a refund for the products that where pushed on me (for more then I wanted to spend btw) they said no problem and then after taking the merchandise I asked if I was going to get my money back as they then proceeded to ignore me. When they finally came back they said they did not offer refunds but that I would be given store credit. I felt robbed, came in with hundred bucks and left with out any product and without a refund. They where very rude about this interaction. When I came back planing to use my credit I was told it did not exist. Apparently who ever took the products back failed to record the return. I was told there was no record of the merchandise ever being restocked or returned. Additionally when they told me this they acted as if I was somehow at fault and questioned why I was able to get into the store at all as their records said I came in past closing. I was shocked. I came in because employees allowed in and out of their store what more is there to say about that ?The young man who brought over a blond hair blue eyed woman who claimed to be the general manager. She told me it didn't matter that the return wasn't recorded because any store credit from returned products was deleted at the end of the day. Not only had they taken my money, refused to refund products they undoubtedly either resold or kept for themselves because they did not record the return but they then deleted my store credit the second I walked out the door. If I could give zero stars I would. I hope the hundred dollar theft was worth it. I would have been a continuing customer if not for this experience but I certainly will never return now, neither will my roommates who witnessed their hostile customer service. I really don't want anyone else to experience this. The best I can offer you, is this review, please don't go here. It was a mistake. I may not get my money back but hopefully you won't lose yours because you read this first.

Seems like this place hasn't figured it out yet. Takes forever to get anything. They haven't put any systems in place to deal with the volume they're experiencing. Hard to tell if they're understaffed or just really slow. Hope they can get it together, this place has a bunch of potential. I won't be back as it is though.

So, we went there for the FIRST TIME there yesterday and I was NOT IMPRESSED at all. The GUY (ZEN) or whatever his name was / is has absolutely NO INTEREST in SELLING because HE did NOT PUT any EFFORT into Explaining nor was he trying to SHOW us what they had. We had to TRAG everything OUT of his NOSE. I want bring my CLIENTS from LA here... Thanks ZEN... If a MANAGER wants to CONTACT me... Please feel free. I did asked for a MANAGERS CARD but he did not EVEN know really WHO runs the SHOW there.... Ughhh... HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

If I could give 0 stars I would. I live up the street from Urbn Leaf and my friends all recommended me to shop there. My first time in I spent $187 on products including a Honey Cartridge I was pressured to buy. 2 days after the cartridge fell off my desk and broke from the 2/3 foot drop on the wooden floor, I took the still very clearly full cartridge in to see how they could help me since the cartridge was over $90 with tax.. a pretty big investment when I could buy much more economic options. The bud tender was very kind and sweet but when she brought her floor manager over he was very rude and immediately accused me of dropping it on the cement. He told me that it was entirely my fault it broke and that they couldn't do anything to help me since it was my fault it broke and they didn't have anything to do with it. Shocking since they give free weed out to every new customer yet when an existing customer has a problem with a product they do nothing but give you attitude and accuse you. I would have still been a customer, and would have bought another Honey cartridge since I did like the flavor and energy from it. I will never be back to this establishment and will never refer a friend. My roommates up the road will as well no longer be customers. I am still just so shocked at the horrible treatment to existing customers, I can't believe a place would treat someone like this.

Let's just say that this experience was so much different as to how I use to buy weed. Of course, that was back in the 1990s so we always had to try to figure out if what we were getting was good buds or just some shake.No more. These guys know their weed and edibles. It's a little pricier than some other dispensaries but it's also really nice and well organized.

I just love urban leaf everytime I visit San Diego to see my TIO. They are always helpful and awesome. I got a free gift because it was my birthday! Such a sweet gesture!

Pretty upset. Have smoked my whole life and was delivered "mid grade" weed that I would of been embarrassed to have at 14 yrs old. Smoked it because I paid for it (had friends turn down smoking with me because it was so garbage). Delivery took 250 minutes (3 miles from my house) and when I followed back to get more and get an explanation they said I was lied to by there staff on the quality level (obv because it terrible) but they still wouldn't offer even a discount to make up for it. Bummed out mainly, thought it'd be cool to get it delivered and not have to deal with dealers, atleast dealers don't charge tax or sell oregano nuggets.

I've been seeing signs for this place all over for some time now, and then a friend of mine suggested we check it out. Boy, am I glad I did. This place is incredible. The motif is very modern, clean, and comfortable. Everyone here was extremely helpful and friendly. I got an amazing deal on some flower and a freebie. Overall, this is what I believe the dispensary experience should be and I'm looking forward to coming back. Back after the first and this place still rocks! Special shoutout to Jessica K4/20 UPDATE: so, I got the email and was ecstatic to go in and make out like a thief with the deals. Well, when I showed up, there were limits to how much you could buy (you could only mix and match 3 items from the specials menu) which was not anywhere in either of the emails I received from Urbn. Also, the selection wasn't great. The $42 1/2's were all outdoor and they looked pretty sad. Still got a good deal but the emails they sent were very misleading.

Welp, how do you review a dispensary? They have good products! All seriousness, the building and store is really nice.  It's clean, brightly lit and well designed. It was a nice experience just walking in the door.  I do wish they had more topical and cbd products, but I understand that one place can't have everything.  Topicals tho are a vital and large part of my purchases, (medical)  so this place definitely does not cater to that population.   Overall tho, I'd bring friends and even family to this place, because it has a good environment and feels above board!

Well I have to say that as a Gen Xer I am old school with my cannabis.  That means a plant material that can be stuck in an implement, ignited and smoked now known as flower.   I was here a couple of times and was pretty underwhelmed.  I expected the kind of quality I'd seen in Amsterdam and Portland and did not get it.  Can't comment on the edibles/cartridges etc, but for flower I would say go elsewhere.

I am incredibly disappointed with the service here during social distancing. I was directed to get in line and wash my hands. Then I was told I had to call in with my order. Again, I complied, although I would have strongly preferred being able to select my product. As I was waiting ON HOLD a female working here walked over to me and extremely rudely told me to get out of line because I was still waiting on hold for someone to pick up my call. I had already been waiting for 15 minutes at this point. I will not be returning.

I walked in not knowing what exactly I was looking for. Andrea helped me and made my experience so easy and nice. She was so sweet and helped me find just what i was looking for. I walked out with amazing deals and great products. I also came back the following day and was helped by Charles who was such an amazing bud tender. i appreciate all the help i received from here.

Last time I went to Urbn Leaf I had a great experience, but this time was different: there was no parking nearby, the rec. line was stagnant because they kept letting all the med. patients in front with only one check-in person. THEN, Sandra, my bud tender, was impatient with my questions, rolled her eyes at me, interrupted & also spoke down to me with almost every reply. I'm not going back nor am I recommending this place anymore. Two stars because they have lots of options.

I have experienced dispensary's all over the country and world. Seattle , Portland , Denver , Vegas , Amsterdam..and so on. I feel this place was way over priced and the quality of the product was average at best . Definitely over priced for what your getting . I had to smoke 2 $18 pre role to catch a buzz.No buenoNext time I'll go somewhere else .

I went here to get something for medical use. The employee helped me out and I settled on a tincture which was not cheap. Knowing myself and how sensitive I can be to everything even something as natural as what I got, I made sure to find out their return policy. The employee that was helping me assured me that I can get a full refund within 30 days if I kept the receipt and original packaging. No where did this person even mention that I can only get store credit and not an actual refund. It was also the only the time I had ever used something with Cannabidiol in it. I even asked if there was anything I can sample because of this but instead I was told that I would have no problems with this product. So I bought it and decided I would trust their expertise. I ended up getting sick, more anxiety and drowsy. I'm not blaming that particular brand that I bought either. I just figured it is not for me and that everyone reacts differently to these things. I was disappointed it did not help me especially because I was hoping it would for my anxiety. So unfortunately I had to return it. I called them to explain to the employee that I would like to return it and why. I was put on hold so they could talk to their manager. I was thinking I would have no issues because I had the receipt and everything else. I was totally blindsided when they told me I can only return for store credit and I would have to buy something else as well. I tried to tell the manager that I was not told this by the employee that helped me out. I obviously do not want to buy anything else there for store credit if the natural stuff doesn't work for me. I feel really lied to. These people do not care about their customers at all. On top of that, the same employee lied and said they explained the return policy to me. They were also very cold and robotic with their answers almost like it didn't matter what I was saying. If they were just honest with me from the beginning we wouldn't have these issues. All they care about is making money. Do not trust them especially if you have never tried anything like this and don't know how you will react to it. Also do not waste your money here it is overpriced and not worth it at all. Really terrible customer service.

PEOPLE LISTEN UP!!! Stop looking anywhere else and go to URBN LEAF! Like many of you I researched and read ALL the reviews both positive and negative of other San Diego Dispensaries because I've never been to a one before and I wanted my first experience to be AMAZING and URBN LEAF didn't disappoint!!!1st...people who complain about lines are just impatient and probably rushing! Go early like I did and I was in and out. URBN Leaf opens at 7am! It gets busier after 11am so plan ahead. I was out in 15 mins!!!2nd...security guard I talked to yesterday morning was nice and easy going! Remember they are people too! They feed on people's vibes and when you deal with people all day, especially assholes...how would you look and act?! Checked my ID scanned me and I was in!3rd...location was easy to find and has parking...again go early! Inside was organized and the set up was easy to follow. 2 lines for Med and Rec. Then a budtender calls for you when your up. 4th...my budtender Juko was the best! She was patient with all my questions and take the tour when they offer it! I told her what I was looking for and what I liked. I smoked before so I was clear on what I wanted. I ended up getting a Vape and Cartridge of Maui Wowie!!! Juko...guuurrl best suggestion ever! I was hiiiigh as fuck and felt dammmn goooood! I went on my birthday and I got a free bday blunt and free bud for being a San Diego resident. I was like OH shiiit!!!! Best birthday ever!!! Totally surprised!So...if you are reading this...get your ass up...get cash out first and head over to URBN LEAF! Go early and don't be an ASS! Enjoy the trip and experience! I sure did! I will definitely be back to buy more cartridges and maybe try some eatibles!!!

First time here, I felt that the staff were cold and unfriendly. I've been to a lot of dispensaries in the bay area, socal, orange county, back bay east coast, but this one made me feel like .. just not the usual ease I feel. The guards were quite inconsiderate too, throwing away my friends drink. Im not recommending this. It's just one out of 2 dispensaries here so I guess that's why the quality control for niceness isn't a necessity.

Favorite place to go. It's a must stop for me when I fly in for work trips. They even give you a student discount. Every person that has helped me has been very nice and patient, especially when I had no idea what I wanted.

I've been a medicinal patient for a little over 2 years receiving my flower from different dispensaries along the way that have treated me so well.I recently moved to OB and heard a lot about urbnleaf and wanted to check it out. The front desk gals were very sweet and helpful. Once I got to the counter, I received very snobbish service almost like I was being an inconvenience to her with asking questions about the different strains.With several passive aggressive comments, I wondered how someone who works in the people business could dislike people so much.The quality of flower was good, but the service was poor. I will not be returning to Urbn Leaf.

Definitely won't be coming back to Urbn Queef  after having a very negative experience with one of their security guards. SDRC is a much better option anyway. I guess when you make over $50k a day, customer service doesn't matter anymore and you can just treat your customers like shit and who cares right?

Disclaimer: This is a review based on my personal experience. Every one can experience difficulties in any given circumstance at a place from time to time but what happened to me was unexpected. I'm not new to this place and have been going there for quite some time. The staff are always helpful and very knowledgeable. I was happy to be a customer. Before you enter security always checks you. No problem every dispensary has the same process. But for some obvious reason last time I came in he was giving me the weirdest looks. He was eyeballing me as if it were a scene from Pulp Fiction that puts Samuel L. Jackson's intense eye contact to shame. He was acting extra and checked me multiple times with the metal detector. It kept ringing when it came from my right pocket. He was insisting  I keep checking my pockets. I took out everything including my belt. A few security checks later we finally figured out it was one freaking coin in my pocket that was hard to reach xD I kept my calm the entire time I took out everything yet his demeanor remained hostile. Then I went in line and there were 2 people behind me who had express online orders. A moment later when I went to the window the security guy stopped me and made me stand behind them because he said they were express checkouts. I told him I was next he just brushed it off. What frustrates me is that he did a security check on both of the guys behind me less than 20 seconds each, right after he spent over 4-5 minutes checking me and pushing me to that. Then he had the boldness of Mel Gibson from the movie "Braveheart" to come back to me and put them both ahead of me in line. Honestly it felt embarrassing. I'd be ashamed of his actions if I had someone playing around with people like that at my business. The guy blazing a J outside said it was because of my ethnic background or accent. At any given moment the security guy was going to shout "ENGLISH MOFO DO YOU SPEAK IT!" but that was just a high thought. Chill bro we are all here to have a good time and get some bud. It was more likely he wanted to play around and embarrass me especially because I smoked beforehand. Was I too high? Was he high? Probably. But all I can say is if you head to this place don't be high beforehand. It feels dodgy. Other dispensaries educate you while this one felt like it takes advantage of your state.Pros:-The bud is delicious-Clean modern place gives you that Sci-Fi futuristic feeling!-Friendly knowledgeable staff. Cons:-Sometimes overly friendly. -Overpriced compared to most dispensaries I've been to around SD-Long wait times. Order express or come earlier in the day if you don't want to spend at least an hour or two -The weirdly entreating security guy

It was a little bit of a drive for me , but was worth it! Great selection! Easy to find! Location was clean and professional! I was just really happy with their selections, I'm pretty selective, and only want the best of the best... I walked away smiling, with a little sunshine in my poster...

This place is one of the most upscale dispensaries in SD. I personally like that there's a security scan. The guards are nice and tell you to have a nice day when you leave. If you have a medical card you can skip the line. The shop itself is very clean and brightly lit and the design is aesthetically pleasing. They have a good selection, especially for vapes, which I like. Their edibles section is a little small right now but they told me that was due to legalization. The staff is very friendly and they are willing to walk you through all their items and give recommendations. I even apologized for taking up so much time but they just smiled and said that's what they were there for. I've already recommended this place to a few people and will continue to do so.

First time ever to a dispensary, so I didn't know what to expect. Not sure why anyone would complain about being wanded at the front door, it's about keeping people and property safe, I totally get it and didn't mind at all. Once checking in, waited in line for a few minutes. The met with Devin at the counter. I am a complete noob and he helped me out with all of my questions. I didn't feel forced into any product or made to feel like I didn't belong. I left with a positive vibe and I am sure that I will be back.

Now that recreational marijuana consumption is legal, I find myself partaking again after a 10 year hiatus. For me personally, I'm not interested in getting so stoned that I get stuck on the couch eating a box of Krispy Kreme's. What I am interested in are the therapeutic properties that will help with all my aches and pains of being an athlete and also just getting older. Urbn Leaf is exactly what I need frankly. It's a cute boutique style shop, very modern and clean. The bud tenders have always patiently answered my questions and given spot on recommendations. I once had to return something due to it being defective and it was accepted with no problem whatsoever. The wait can be long, especially during peak hours. If you go before 11am, you will likely walk right in. The waiting room is super comfortable though.  Don't worry about being bored while waiting though. The security guard Theo will make your wait time fly by. He keeps everyone moving to where they need to be but he does it with efficiency and style. Clowning on your football team or genuinely asking you about your day, Theo really adds to the experience. Other security guards should take note. You don't have to control people by being a dick. When you treat everyone with respect, they are more likely to behave and treat you the same way. You're the best Theo!

First time here. Facility is nice and product selection outstanding--moderately priced. However, maybe because it was really busy or maybe because the budtender was new(?), we were told one price and ended up paying much more for some edibles. The whole experience was very confusing. We had exited the main room by the time we noticed the higher price on the receipt, and by then, it would've taken forever to get back in. Not super upset, just kind of annoyed (and feel like we got played). I would advise checking your receipt before leaving so this doesn't happen to you!

Attendants were all cold and rude. From the woman who checked me in at the front this morning to the woman, Alana, who rung me up. Horrible service. Asked me, "do you even want the dollar 1/8th, it's not strong." Told me it was 5% THC to convince me not to get it when it was actually 12%. Low, yes, but for a dollar, I'd take it. She seemed annoyed when I asked for the discount. Overall, there are plenty of dispensaries in SD, spend your money elsewhere where you get treated without judgement and bias.

I have been to this dispensary a few times. It's light & bright, & you are treated well. HOWEVER, I'd like to add this comment re: the sales techniques.It appeared that in my last purchase, the salesperson was trying to "sell me up", to a more expensive product, not offering me lots cheaper alternatives --but I kept on pushing & finally got the "let me talk to my manager" speech, & voila, came back w/a smaller sized product for a lot less. I am a medical patient, & honestly: we have been thrown under the bus by BIG Pharma, I'd really appreciate the dispensary not falling into this category.   YOU NEED US, so get rid of the hard-sell tactic. You don't want to build your business around it, there are many other dispensaries all vying for my $$.

Devon was awesome kushy punch was the ticket! Customer service was great, awesome selection, prices are good compared to other shops around town now.

This place is ok gets 3 stars only because their bud is pretty good quality for the price their Pineapple Express was grown well and their ice cream cake even better they've got a great selection as well what was very unappealing was their approach to the "COVID laws" ok if you're going to enforce them and going to have customers wait for over 20 minutes because we have to "spread out" enforce it amongst your staff as well there was about 4 patients being helped with about 20 staff members talking amongst themselves close as hell to each other laughing having a good time that will make some people mad you know in fact someone even walked out because you guys took so long listen it's a great dispensary it's nice you guys are doing a great job growing the bud and I understand there's certain laws because of the virus but if you're gunna talk and bullshit and have 4 people help with 16 other people in the back talking and laughing while we all have to stand 6 feet apart at least do it in the back if. If you choose to go here use the pick up service they seemed to move in and out quick in store is a no go because the buds the only good thing about the place

This place is the real. deal. It's definitely my new go-to. Plus, their social media is on point. Follow them on instagram!There's a parking lot just for the place. Security guards and workers in the front are all very welcoming. The waiting lounge is very comfy and has magazines to keep you busy while you wait.The actual store is lit brightly and you're greeted with someone to help you. They have everything you need and want! It is kinda pricey, but it's great quality stuff.Only downside is it's cash only at the moment.

The selection is great, the employees are knowledgeable and friendly. However, when I had occasion to email them via their website, I received no reply. It would be a professional atmosphere but they play very loud music. I use their products for medicinal reasons, chronic migraines that I cannot otherwise treat. So I no longer shop at this dispensary. I'd still be using them if they dropped the volume or turned off the music entirely. They told me I could have it delivered- going to their website menu took me to Weedmaps, where I found a dispensary that does not blast the music and does delivery without Weedmaps, which is less expensive than using it.

The staff are super knowledgeable and helped me pick products for my gift recipients which was essential for me since I had no idea what I was doing. The storefront is very classy and clean, and surprisingly there is no hint of a smell of marijuana. There are two security guards that control the influx of people. I went on a busy Saturday and had to wait 15-20 minutes to get in, not bad at all. It was a fun experience overall, I would definitely recommend this location.

I waited in line to get frisked. Waited in line again to be able to get inside. Once inside I waited in line again. When I finally got tot he counter they had completely run out of the cbd oil I was trying to purchase. Including travel time I wasted an hour and a half of my Sunday here. Not going back. Maybe Amazon Prime has something?

I think this place has a lot of options for leaf but not to many for edible. The options they have for edibles are good though, and good quality it seems like. Would recommend! The bud tenders are very nice as well.

Honestly pretty disappointed, on Wednesday 2/19/20 we had gone in to get some Kurvana carts and we had called before to see if they had key lime strain, they confirmed that they did have that exact strain in stock at their location. When we get there they told us that they did not have that strain without even checking. After telling them that we had called, all of a sudden they found them. No big deal. We open the carts excited to get what we wanted after paying a good amount for these half grams. The wax at the top looked almost brown while the bottom looked golden, and it wasn't full. Not the usual new cart bubble, it looked like it had been in that drawer for a good amount of time. Now on Thursday 2/20/20 the cart barely rolled off the couch and completely shattered.

I just got off the phone with this dispensary to make sure they carried what I needed. When I asked if they had a special for first-time customers. The person answering the phone (Ashley) said it's only for patients. I told her that my rec form has expired. Then I asked her besides the rec form, what's the difference between a patient first time customer and a nonpatient customer and why was the non-patient discriminated to not get a first-time gift or discount. She said it's the law. When I, in fact, told her it's not the law, she then said: "Oh it's our rule here". I'm not sure they can offer discounts to one group and not the other. I'm going to find out though. I would stay away from a place that does not tell the truth when asked a question.

...went here on 1-8-2018 as it's only place to buy recreational greens over the counter.After initial unorganized line silliness of about 20 minutes I was approached and serviced by a bud-tender whom asssmbled my purchase, wrang me up, took payment (cash only) and off I went...my first legal over the counter purchase of greens in Cali...Place will sell you the $1.50 childproof carrier bag, makes you legal to carry in cabin of car, don't need to put in trunk if it's in bag...

Recent string of bad experiences. When calling in advance for express, I've been told certain products are in stock. Then upon arrival I am told my order has been swapped out for something of lesser value. Not sure if a cheap sales tactic or simply bad customer service. Buyer beware.

I don't really give less than 5 unless I was treated poorly. Awesome staff, quick as they can. Just fyi: unfortunately you have newbies that will stand at the counter asking questions for 30 minutes and the staff member has no choice. Great variety, awesome cartridges. Friendly security.

This place is commercial as fuckkk. They have a solid selection at horrible prices, and half the people who I've dealt with there are SO RUDE. You work at a dispensary, how can you all be so unhappy? It's honestly so weird. But again the selection is solid lol

The staff was not very helpful when I told them I wanted the best they had they kept pulling out garbage until finally I was fed up with it ready to leave they gave me something from behind the counter in a box, they're very shady the strains are mediocre at best and way overpriced I would never go there again

Very clean and organized. I've been to a few dispensaries and found some of them to be a bit creepy but not urban leaf. It' more like a retail store with a lot of choices.The only thing I was uncomfortable with was a couple of product reps pitching thier product while I waited in line. That's a little awkward being a captive audience waiting your turn. Not a big deal but I prefer to not deal with that. Yet, on the other hand, I guess I learned a little about vapes. On a side note - This is all so strange to me. I was born in the 60s. Hippies, psycadelic posters, conservative's public shaming of weed smokers, Vietnam on the news. My mother took me to a bluegrass concert at Balboa Park, the air filled with the scent of weed. That's the first time I got that I experienced the aroma. I come from a conservative family, talk at home was anti marijuana. In high school my friends smoked but I didn't. I wasn't opposed to the use, however, but I wasn't interested. Skip ahead couple decades to me being on opiods for 10 or 15 years for spinal injuries and migraines but being sick of pills and those side effects. I slowly eased into the idea of the possible benefits of CBD and THC instead of pain killer pills. I was very skeptical of It's potential. Again, in my head, the negative connotations regarding marijuana but always the discussions how it should be legalized  and taxed and decriminalized. And now, the time has come. My mind is blown having witnessed the transformation of public opinion regarding this miracle. Now, regarding the truth as to the value of this plant, I would like to share my personal experiences. I took myself off opiods a few years ago and had been off of them for 2 months when I went to a pain specialist for examination of my old injuries. I advised the doctor that I was off opiods and that I smoked  a very, minuscule amount of weed to relax my muscles and help me sleep. Next thing he does astonished me - write a prescription for 100 Norco, hands it to me and says, "If you continue to use marijuana I will not treat you." Wow! The media claiming we have an opiod epidemic and the doctor puts me back on them after I just got off of them. I want to be clear - I never took more pills than the scheduled dosage written on the bottle. I was not addicted but I was chemically dependent on them. I never used them for the high and honestly, after so long you don't even feel them, therefore, I can understand why they are so addictive. Let's compare those pills made in a factory with chemicals to a plant that you can grow in your own yard. How and why would anybody ever say these pills are what you need and that plant Is a demon. That is most certainly backward thinking. Unbelievable!My results on the plant based products are as follows - CBD oil is killing my pain, I don't need any pain meds including mj  It's truly a miracle.

Very poor customer service ! They make promotion flyers , giving out to everyone who is in the store but then when you try to use the flyers they mention that it's only for first time users! Question has to be asked - why on earth would you hang out those flyers to customers who at your store already purchasing products, advertising your flyer that this an amazing deal but then when customers come back with flyers you letting them know - sorry first time user ! Either your management is too stupid to come up with flyers like this or it's cheap trick to get more customers! Either way it's a scam , need to be investigated ! Definitely not going back there

Hands down best dispensary in San Diego.  Shop is very modern, friendly staff, plenty of parking, they do member events in parking lot every month, and most of all, they have the best flower in sd at good prices.  Also, it is one of the only legal shops in sd so you don't have to worry about it being raided or not there one day.  Great work guys I'll be back soon!

Cool spot, stopoed through on a lunch break real quick and the line was a bit long but moved fairly quiclly. Lasondra was my budtender, very knowledgeable and grabbed me a nice pre roll and got me in and out. Definetly will be back next time im in rhe area

Slowest dispensary EVER! If you want to wait in four different lines for 30 minutes before getting product, this place is for you! Both times I've gone now it's taken over a half an hour. If you want good product and to be in and out (which is how it should be) go to ManKind or SDRC. Never a wait and great prices ‍

My favorite dispensary has been Golden State Greens. They offer delivery, have a pickup window and the retail floor.  They have just been so busy lately that I thought I'd give Urban Leaf a second chance.  I got a similar experience to my first visit. I feels like I am entering an assembly line with no genuine customer interaction. The guy I got appeared actually disinterested. I passed through the medical line and made my request clear.  I need something to help me sleep and asked what strong indica they carried would do the job.  While he DID NOT sound knowledgeable, I was just totally turned off by his bored mannerisms. He should check out Walmart for a clerk job. He would fail as a Walmart greater.  THATS MY FINAL VISIT THERE.

First time visitor to a dispensary ever. Had a great experience once we were inside the store. The security guard and girl at the front window were not so great. The security guard was rude and made me feel very uncomfortable.... TSA shows more respect than he did. Girl at the front window was very short with me and didn't even offer the San Diego first time buyers discount ($1 1/8). Only found out about the discount because the other front girl was advertising it to her customer.

I can't believe what I'm looking at right now. I wanted to have some top-shelf herb delivered and went on to Weedmaps and found this place that had good ratings and seem to have good product. I placed an order for an eighth of their more expensive herb, which was delivered rather quickly but I cannot begin to explain the quality of this pot. First of all it says it was cultivated 6 months ago (way too old to be even low shelf) , it smells like mildew or like it's been inside of a jar for a long time and it's a dark green/dark brown in color.  The taste of the smoked herb is acrid and leaves a thick tar like film on your lips that you can taste for hours if you don't wash it off.  I am honestly, truly shocked at the quality of the herb here

I just got off the phone with Sondra who is so knowledgeable and kind.  My dog has pretty aggressive cancer and has been doing terrific with a THC tincture.  My friend who used to get it for him has been hospitalized so I'm on my own.   From the minute the phone was answered I was treated so nicely and by the time I got off the phone I feel like I have a new friend.  I know there are a lot of dispensaries to choose from, but the customer service and the large supply of product has made me a customer for life.  Thank you Sondra,  Max appreciates you

I went in today to buy something that had cbd to help with my pain and the guy who helped me was trying to sell me expensive stuff at first. when I told him I was looking for something cheap it's like his whole vibe changed to less than happy. Bummer I'll stick with medmen better happier environment and they don't try to up sell you things

Stopped here on my visit in California got a top shelf joint with another joint and a battery when I got to my truck I opened the joint package and it had nothing in it I went back in and let the store know they told me there was nothing that they can do and all items are inspected when they get them. I was at $16 and got nothing for it.

5 stars for selection, 3 stars on price (which I don't seeing changing anytime soon now that it is recreational), and a big fat Zero stars for staff. Every time you go in there some snooty 22 year old is going to talk down to you like you haven't been smoking since around when they were born. Answering questions or ordering suggestions respectfully is ok, but don't expect that here.

Alright, so I've been back a couple times out of desperation and since the discovery of a good deal on some good quality prerolls. I've been satisfied so far, and it gets better each time they recognize me and greet me. There are 2 guys in there each time I go who are cool, look happy and were helpful. Big change from the first two times I came here. Still overpriced compared to others--except for the prerolls, good deal.

As a vet living with PTSD, this place was a God send on Memorial Day.  I've been slowly trying to re-enter society and have done a fairly good job.  But, Monday was hard. I go there expecting something that'd I'd called ahead about.  It wasn't available, I was getting overwhelmed with the product selection and the different strains and had to call my spouse in for support...it was going downhill for me fast.  The bud tenders sprung into action.  They went out of their way to let me know that I was safe, showed me more product, the manager came and helped me and let me vent a little...as a vet, that was a scary place emotionally.  But, they had me. That's what we need in this community. Buyer Beware:  DO NOT BUY THE PEN!!!The pens won't last the entire cartridge so you are left with oil that can't be smoked unless you buy another pen from them.  Went to exchange first pen and they couldn't because it was past the return policy date. This pen wasn't dropped or damaged.  It just randomly stopped working.  I decided to buy another pen so I could finish smoking the original cartridge but that pen is now not working either.  The company does not stand by their products so I won't either.  Also, manager was a douche when I tried returning the first pen. Stay away and hopefully this business will fail and a more reputable company who stands by their products will take their place.

Disorganized with rude employees out front. Instead of checking in people in order by the line, they skip around and let people cut in front of you. I pointed out to them that this was unfair and not okay and she shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know." I can't believe I was treated so poorly at an establishment I have come to like. Waiting in line is already miserable, letting 8 people budge in front of customers who were here first is absolutely unacceptable. Figure your shit out, your system isn't working and your employees are rude.

I was super stoked on this place, and still will come here for their products. But tonight, for whatever reason, security (both guards) at the front door were rude and had that "respect the badge" vibe. This is a dispensary, not SD county jail, I have my ID and Urban Leaf bag, no need to flex if there were no problems to begin with. However, Max was extremely knowledgeable and provided the best customer service I have ever experienced at Urban Leaf.

I wish I caught the name of the "budtender" that helped me, she was awesome. She had highlighted hair and like a purple-ish lipstick. I told her that I didn't want anything I'd have to smoke, don't want to feel lazy and I'm vegan. She took about 2 minutes to gather a bunch of stuff and brought it all over to the counter and explained each item. The wait to actually get in was a little long, but considering it's a weekend and there are very few legal recreational dispensaries in San Diego at the moment it really wasn't bad at all. Can't wait to go back!

Great atmosphere but our budtender was seriously lacking enthusiasm and was short with our answers so we didn't really get much information about what we were buying which was a bummer.

Getting wanded by security was odd, but I guess it's necessary. They were cool though. Other than that, they were all friendly and nice here. They didn't have CBD oil tinctures without THC  in stock, so I went with a vape with CBD and no THC in it. I hope they end up getting more CBD products without THC in stock. I'm really interested in exploring those products.

We flew in to California with this spot as a bucket list item to experience. When we arrived we were greeted by two cool people behind the window. Once we made it to the back to talk products the person there was annoyed to be working with us. She was annoyed at the questions we asked and bothered by our inexperience.... She pushed some product down our throats and avoided any questions we asked.  We had a limit of 500$ to spend here for the week  and because of her we only bought an 1/8th and spent the rest of the money at a different dispensary.I definitely won't be returning.

Very nice and professional. The people here explained the dosage for edibles (I've over done it more times that not) and my sis and I got some mini cookies. They were really good and the advice was great! Wish I would have seen this deal on yelp before going in. They only accept cash. I had no idea but I live in MN where it's still illegal. Ugh.

I was attracted to this shop through their add in the Reader. The 420 Bayked event apparently promoted by this shop. A $10 coupon off of tickets was touted in this advertisement. Tickets online were $30. My friend and I went to the shop to purchase tickets on April 20th. The festivities we're in full swing. Unfortunately, many of the staff were already "Bayked". The shop tickets had face value of $40, the coupon, clearly never seen by staff wasn't going to be honored until a manager was summoned. So we paid $30 for the tickets we could have bought online for $30, and dealt with this horrific shop that caters to the yuppy cannabis users of the county. I'm 55 and felt like I was being bullied by a staff of median aged 18 year olds.So while Will Sean is raking in the benjamins, I felt like I was treated like a chump by his staff selling his overpriced products. And "Bayked" ,the event, was disastrous. Zealot protesters outside blew my high, along with bullying staff who would not allow my friend and I to use a restroom outside of the function insisting we had to use their porta-potties and not leave the event as no reentry was allowed. So, this upscale dispensary "poser" left an old school cannabis user lighter in the wallet, feeling dooped. FYI staff, have a little respect for those of us in the senior community.  In my day  I got more respect from the pot salesman in a blue Chevy van, no uplighting required. We know what the f#$k time it is!

Urbn Leaf is a great place! It is not only in a great location, the parking isn't bad withe! The customer service is always friendly with knowledgeable staff. They are also very efficient in getting us in and out in a timely manner. I appreciate the credit back and referral incentive. The only thing I would change is that it stay open until 10 or 11 on the weekends.

First time being in San Diego and this was our first store stop. Sara helped us out and was beyond amazing explaining everything to us. Will definitively be coming back before we leave.

This was my first experience at a dispensary.  I did know what I wanted (from friends who have purchased there in the past).   I went on a Friday around noon.  It was not crowded and once inside, the product I wanted had it's own counter area (Select Brand).  I walked up and the employee was helpful and knowledgable.   As a new patient, I got an 8th for $1 (I use a pen, but took advantage to keep around for guests).  This was a clean store, nice environment and very low pressure, low anxiety experience.   GREAT place.

9 dollars a gram. Nice place. It's what you'd expect from a dispensary. No complaints.

BEWARE - I used an ATM machine at this establishment. Within hours my debit card was compromised - someone installed a stealth camera and stole my debit card number along with the pin number. However, this was not the worst thing. I called and left 5 messages at URBN, wanting to alert them of this issue. Nobody called me back. Avoid this business like a plague - they don't give a damn about protecting your security. Very disappointing, but not entirely unexpected. They were probably too stoned to respond. :)

Eh came here with a buddy for cbd oil without thc , and the person who helped made me feel like I was dumb for asking for something without the thc. Also didn't get anything out of what I wasted money on. Will not be going back !

Clean, modern twist on dispensaries. The ones I've been to prior were less professional and put together. The staff is well informed and they have a great set up. Best part: they're open til 11!

Urbn leaf has a modern posh look to it. There is a large selection of products in every shape and form. Prices are about what you'd pay anywhere else. Biggest complaint is it is busy! There are about 10 parking spots out front so it's very hard to find parking. Everywhere around it will tow. There is also normally a long wait to get in. The popularity of this place is its downfall. If you're willing to wait it's nice, but there are other places with the same stuff, no lines and better parking.

I completely recommend this place. Devin helped me out and was very professional and knowledgeable. It was my first time here and I was short by some change to be able to buy a third item and he was very generous and helped me out with the .42 cents I needed so I didn't have to go back to my car and get back in line. You are meant for management, Devin. You have my business. Thank you again.

Great place! Waiting area was quite comfortable but was also in and out quick. Budtenders were also extremely helpful and very knowledgeable.

Great set up, so cute and modern. Staff was excellent and well maintained to answering any question me and my mother in law had. Definitely a tourist destination but still worth the ride out there, they also have a social smoking bus where you can go in and use the cannabis you just bought, outside. Which was extremely convenient!

I'm from out of state. Best dispensary I have been to, between Cali, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington. I haven't been to tons but a couple in each of those states' largest cities. Great staff, super friendly and helpful. Max helped me find exactly what I wanted and I based my purchase off of his recommendation. Kinda long lines but worth the wait. Awesome store inside, now considering a ride on their party bus. A staff member Krista told me they drive you around to a drop off point and then come pick you up later -- and you can smoke on the bus. It was as good an experience as you could want. Not too expensive, but definitely higher end. You get what you pay for. Urbn Leaf is top tier.

Urban Leaf is my go to spot when I visit San Diego. Both times I've come I've been assisted by Jess R and she's always so knowledgeable and helpful in making sure I understand what I'm buying and getting the best flower or edible for my anxiety. Highly recommend!

Great space and service in a not so far out location. They also have a fast track medical line, which keeps down the wait time if u have a card.

Poorly managed dispensary. Four times now I've had to wait in a two hour line to get serviced for recreational purposes. They blame it on their system but it's unacceptable to happen this often.

My first time at a dispensary and it was such a great experience. My budtender was Miguel and he was so great. He was super knowledgeable and helpful.  I was a complete newbie and he made me feel so comfortable. I will definitely be back.

Be sure not to come here unless you have a lot of time to kill, I came to urbn leaf at 10:50 ish on a Friday morning, by 11:30  I still haven't even been let in the door. The receptionist Crystal was very nice and got me checked in very fast. The security guard had a grumpy vibe about him though, maybe he was having a bad day or didn't want to be there. I sat down to wait and 30 + minutes pass and I hadn't even got inside yet to get in line to look at product. I was still sitting in the reception area . With the amount of of time it was going to take before noon on a Friday, I might as well just ordered delivery. So in short only come here if you really have some time to kill cause you're going to be waiting a while.

As soon as I walked up to the door I felt very welcomed staff is very nice and helpful my bud tender took the time to choose the right strain for me and worked around my budget perfectly she also made sure I got the first time patient deal and got a gram for a dollar !! So I'm set thanks guys !!  I really enjoyed my first time experience there will definitely be coming back.

This is what it feels like when big money takes over the weed game. The vibe is super intense and hectic.. I felt like they were herding cattle into the main room. First I asked for edibles and the guy acted like there was only one edible there, he said they were 100mg u want hybrid Indica or sativa? I said indica and hybrid, so he handed me gummies, I said can I get a chocolate bar? So he said oh yea but we only have hybrid.... so they have allllll the shit in the world but they only have one edible chocolate bar... just hybrid no indica. Ok can I get milk chocolate? No just spicy or dark. Ok so I paid 16$ plus a 4$ tip for a 100mg hybrid dark chocolate bar lol. Weak.

Bittersweet My bff shops here and recommend for me to as well. I was BLOWN AWAY on my first visit (1-22-2018). Everyone was extremely nice and our budtender was incredible. She allowed me to ask as many questions as I needed, recommended Green Crack and Saturn to me, she the ideal person in the customer service field. After trying out the product and being satisfied I went back the following day. I had pretty much the same experience as the day before until it was time for me to select and purchase the product. The buntender I had during this trip (1-23-2018) was the complete opposite of the previous one I had. He wasn't necessarily rude, but he didn't make an effort to help me neither. He didn't greet me, he just asked what I was looking for, didn't tell me about the specials, I asked about the products I was looking for and he said that they were out, I had to ask him about products that were close to what I was looking for, being there and dealing with him was tremendously draining. On my next trip, I'll do everything in my power to avoid him. If I see his name or anything to identify him, I'll edit the review and post who he is.

Yesterday was my first time shopping there.  I won a gift card.  The process of getting inside was simple and the wait was very short.  The dispensary was well lit, clean, well stocked and organized.  David was very knowledgeable and helpful.  I left very satisfied and I will definitely go back.

I love how friendly everyone is at urbn leaf and they always have great deals. Glad to have them in my neighborhood.  Shout out to Crystal for being awesome.

MEDICAL PATIENTS CAN GO STRAIGHT IN. I ended up waiting in the recreational line for 15 minutes. They should have a sign letting us know!Now that it's recreational, Urbn leaf is like  Disneyland.  Sensationalized long line. A "CanaBUS" tour unloading excited tourists. Bad parking. People taking selfies and photos out front. I'm over here just trying to get my meds.I do appreciate the medical express entrance but the recreational aspect is uncomfortable and inconvenient. I understand recreational and medical will have to coexist. Please just consider its affects on patients as you continue. A couple medical only parking spots?

You cannot proceed into the store without first submitting to a body search for weapons and disclosing your personally identifying information for the creation of a "profile" that they say they will use to track your purchase history.  Prop. 64 requires no such invasion of privacy, only a government ID which is to be viewed, not recorded, for the purposes of age verification.  Due to the controversial nature of legality at the state vs. federal level, customers should be aware that their identity and purchase history when recorded into a database, become subpoenable by the federal government.  In short, shop at a dispensary with better privacy practices.  Should be as invasive as shopping at a liquor store.

Urban leaf is a beautiful boutique and boasts a really helpful and friendly staff. I've been coming here for a few months and enjoy it. While there is a long wait, patients go straight through. You def. should check it out.

People that work here are really friendly. Their selection of flower could be better! I personally would not buy their prepackaged house brand in pouches.. I haven't tried their house top shelf. The selection of extracts and concentrates is pretty good and endless edibles and tinctures! I would give more stars if they carried high CBD flower varietals... that is the main reason why I don't shop here as often as I would.  The location is great but they definitely could use a more cbd based selection. As a medical patient I appreciate that they have a special line for patients so the wait is minimal. I prefer to use whole plant medicine and it isn't as easy to find as one might imagine. I hope that Urbn Leaf steps up their game and adds epic cbd options- then I would be a forever loyal customer.

What a cool place! We were visiting the state and this place was close by. Customer service aka "budtender service" was super nice and helpful. Besides the prices (but it's probably about the same wherever you go), this place is definitely a pick for your recreational needs.

This place is great. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a dispensary in San Diego.I had only been using delivery services in the city, but I felt my options were a bit limited. So I started looking for a comfortable, friendly, clean dispensary with plentiful options. I stumbled upon Urbn Leaf online and am so happy I took the plunge. The store is open with lots of light and the interior design is modern. On your first visit you register with a friendly staff-member at the front desk. Then you enter the dispensary with another employee who walks you around the store and helps you with your purchase. The store is never packed as they ensure every patient is tended to by one employee - talk about customer service. Great experience all in all.Bonus: It was Friday so I was able to score a freebie, some edibles. Note: Although this page says they accept CC, they only accept cash. But they do have an ATM inside.

This is the second time I've had a problem with Urbn Leaf. During this shelter in place due to covid-19 I've done everything that they request to stop the spread. First time, I ordered delivery on a day where they had a deal going on only to find out that you can get the deal if you come into the store (doesn't sound like social distancing to me, and was not clear on the flyer posted by them). Second time, I ordered ahead of time so that I could come by and pick up my order instead of having to wait in line. They said it would be ready by 3 pm. I showed up and they told me they didn't have an order ready for me. I checked my status and they canceled my order and I was told to stay in line now as a walk in customer instead of being placed to the front. When I finally got to the counter and asked for an explanation, I was told "with so many orders if we just don't get to yours in time we just cancel it." This makes absolutely no sense to me, I did what they are now requesting to keep social distancing to a minimum. The guy at the counter didn't seem like this mattered and tried to just rush me out without any discount offered for their mistake. Urbn Leaf needs to figure out better customer service, more clear marketing/advertisement, and actually helping their customers that come back for repeat business.

I'm from Sacramento traveling and by far this is the best dispensary i ever been to in San Diego! It's sooooooo urban and feels like home away from home ! I'm coming back forsure when I come back to San Diego!

This place has a unique layout and set up compared to other rec dispensaries I've been to in other states. An intimidating guard and plexi glass waiting room greets you when you show up. I noticed the guard using a metal detector on some guest but not on others.... Medical patients can go straight in to the bud room after checking in, where as rec patients may need to wait if there is a line in the bud room. I waited 5 mins in the wait room to just wait another 20 in the budtender line. The budtender seemed friendly and knowledgeable, however the way the room is set up it really isn't efficient to browse on your own so you really can't see the full range of products unless you spend another twenty talking to the budtender... which I didn't do since I already waited 25 minutes in a line. Overall experience was really a 3 but the yelp promo offer pushed it to 4 stars.

Best part was the free bus ride from ocean beach. I was not very happy with the products I received. Felt like they had been packaged for too long.

This place is legit. Very clean establishment, very professional. The wait was less than 15 minutes. They have a huge selection from flower to edibles to extras that you'll want to try out. Prices are fair. Parking can be tricky but you'll find a spot within a few minutes. Overall good experience, will be back.

I just checked out the Urbn Leaf. I was not impressed. the flower was way overpriced. They did not even have any good FTP deals. for me the final nail is they charge extra for tax. I am happy other people like them but with so many dispensers in the area they just aren't competitive.

This was my first time here and first time buying under the new law in California. It was an amazing first experience. A friend and I went in knowing what we were looking for and they delivered. This was a great first experience and everything thing came in this cool bag. I will definitely be back for more.

First time buying.   My bud tender was awesome. He walked me thru my choices and helped me make a selection according to my needs.  My organic nature led us to Flow Kana.  I tried one with a high % of Cbd and slept thru the night for the first time in a long time.

Great place, super modern and clean inside, and helpful budtenders. If you don't know too much about weed or any weed products, just ask! They're very willing to help and know a ton. Cannot sell accessories like papers and such, so get that ahead of time. But you can get pre rolls and such. They have it all!

This is by far the best dispensary I've been to in SD. It's clean well run and they seem to really care about their customers. My favorite thing is their $25 eighths. I have also got one of the $10 gummies and that thing was potent. It took away my pains and helped me sleep. I highly recommend this place. Plus I see that they deliver now and if you have your medical card you can skip the line. Win win.

I took my Grandma here to find something that woukd help her sleep. She was super nervous but the staff was friendly and took the time ti show us a bunch of different CBD products low in THC that would really help her. They put her at ease and didn't pressure us to buy something expensive or irrelevant to her needs. She liked the experience and wants to come back.

here's a sh*t story. this place sucks. they made me and my lady stand 6 ft apart - saying it was a rule because of "regulation" - EVEN THOUGH WE ARE FROM THE SAME HOUSEHOLD. (6 ft apart doesn't apply to people from the same household, morons. we are not a family of 5. we're a couple.) so, my lady decided to leave the line -- bullshit. next, i waited in line, only to find out last minute that THIS time, though my products were scheduled online for pickup, through my lady's name, i couldn't buy the products with MY ID and money, EVEN THOUGH I DID THIS LAST TIME. breaking it down: we did the same thing this time -- "ordered" online under her name with the intention of paying with MY $ in person -- which is exactly what we did last time (WITH NO F*CKING PROBLEMS). this time, we were told we couldn't. F*CK THIS PLACE when it's operated by idiot ushers who DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING -- maybe something as simple as listening to your customers. get your sh*t right and give better service. PEOPLE (myself included) PAY A LOT OF MONEY for your products, to be taken care of so poorly upon arrival and before going in to give you our money for your products. PEACE.

Place is very appealing and clean. There seems to be quite the selection. We went earlier in the day on two separate occasions and there wasn't much of a wait. The bud tenders are nice but how knowledgeable they are I think depends on who you get. We are novices and they were helpful and let us take our time. I felt that the prices were reasonable.

This place is by the far the nicest dispensaries I have ever been to. The ambiance is amazing and the environment can not be re created. Only way this place could've gotten better is if they serve alcohol and that's not possible so I feel like it reached perfection

Ripped off!!! Just opened the joint container at home to find a completely smoked joint. Where is the quality control? Apparently none.  We would have driven back to complain but who is going to believe we didn't smoke it ourselves. Buyers beware.

When I checked in, Chrystal took care of me and gave my daughter a referral credit for referring me. The gentleman behind the counter was a big help. I just wanted a cream for my aching arthritis.  They didnt have in stock what I needed but he is ordering it and it will take about a week.  I'm new to the dispensary and he was very helpful. I'll be back for sure.

Quality bud friendly staff and an amazing care towards assisting customers with their questions and proper prescription. Highly recommend coming here. They have a really good system going for them. Be prepared to carry a pouch after your first time to transport your purchase. All in all convenient and legit.

Best shop in SD for sure.  They actually care about medical users and not merely about making money on all the recreational users.  They have really streamlined the process for medicinal users, so much so that I was in and out with my medicine in less than 10 min this morning.  Won't shop anywhere else.

I stopped by after spending the day in San Diego. This is probably the prettiest dispensary I have ever been to. They have the prettiest exotic flowers- I bought 4.5 g of Lemon Chem which not kidding, blew me away and 1 g venom og which I wasn't really too fond of. I spent $114. I initially thought I overpaid but after testing out the product the quality was amazing and 100% worth it. The staff is really welcoming and knowledgeable. I most likely will stop by every time I make the drive up to San Diego.

The lines long sometimes pending when you go there. But if the lines are long it's probably pretty good right. They are always helpful every person is there for the same reason so no need to feel creeped out. They're all pretty knowledgeable about the products. Highly recommend

After they established a separate like for medical patients they won my vote again! Top notch storefront dispensary with elite taste in architecture to boot.

Tried giving this place a 2nd chance but I noticed they try to charge you double the price or never honor their medical patient deals. O waited in the medical line and they said I should go to the rec line why the hell would you assume I'm recreational because I'm young? They didnt honor their %20 discount and they always have attitude compared to the San ysdrio. The ALWAYS have attitude or do this where they assume I'm not a medical patient. And it's always at this location that they act this way. You guy give a bad name to legal dispensaries advertising deals and then not honoring them you guys are a bit worse the the illegal shops in SD. Seriously screw you guys for all this attitude dont be a medical dispensary if you're not gonna act like a medical dispensary. So tired of this dispensary doing the same thing never honoring their deals I go in for at this place and always trying to upscale me more expensive things when I had ALREADY PLACED MY ORDER TO PICK UP. Didnt wanna spend more time trying to be convinced to buy more.

Not a bad spot for your recreational needs.Four lines. First to get scanned for metal by security and get inside, second to have your ID checked and info put into their system, the third to get into the room where all the goodies are held, and the fourth to pick your poison and give up a good sum of your money for it (taxes, man). They all passed by pretty quickly except the last, since they prioritize the customers who are there for medicinal marijuana or some customers take long because they have no idea what they've come for.I didn't like that you aren't able to walk around and look at the merch. You just wait in a line until you reach the front and have to unload all of your questions onto a staff member. They are also CASH ONLY but they have zero signs to inform you, so you may be completely unaware until you get through all four lines and have already decided what you're getting (ATM in the back corner, $3 fee)Other than that, the staff (budtenders) are very sociable and knowledgeable and they have a good selection of greens (indica, sativa, hybrid), edibles (cookies, sour candies, chocolates), and other stuff I saw only from a distance

First time pot buyer here. Had a great first experience buying marijuana here. It looks like William Sonoma inside with its high end merchandising, and from the first second, every employee made me feel totally comfortable. Juko helped guide us through the many options and lead us to products that suited our exact needs. I highly recommend this place and look forward to our next visit. Wish there was one in North County!

This is by far the best dispensary I've been to in San Diego. Super friendly, service-oriented staff and really great customer loyalty programs that make it easy to be a repeat customer. It's very clean and the decor is rad, too. Lucky me...it is also super close to my house. However, I've recommended it to friends who live in other parts of town and they've also decided this is THEIR place. We love it!

Urbn Leaf is an upscale dispensers with so many options from edibles to bud. I mostly do edibles & they carry mind tricks which I haven't found at other dispensaries. This place is super nice & a calming environment. The staff are really helpful with helping you find products. I would recommend! & they also have some third party merchants come through sometimes.

Awesome spot! I felt like a kid in a candy shop. I don't smoke because of issues with anxiety, so I went in absolutely clueless but excited. I told the girl who worked there the issues I was looking to aid with their products, and she gave me a few great options. I went with the CBD 8:1 oil to help me relax, and am excited to see the results. The store was awesome, felt very VIP, and obviously everyone walked out with a smile.

Charged me $150 over going rate for 1oz. The little 1/8 sealed packets kind of squash the buds. They're offering a bribe for a five star review (that you still pay for)! We purchased three different strains and when you put them side by side they look exactly the same and they smell exactly alike. I asked them how old the King Louis XIII was, and I was informed it was only three weeks old. Didn't taste right! They put all the little bud packets out on pegs and they're left out in the light. Go anywhere else, you'll be better off.

Outta towners. Naturally, we were enticed and so, we indulged. Once beyond the check-in area, most of the staff appeared without personality. Security guard was super friendly, as was the floor manager. Overall, we didn't really know what exactly we were after, as we are hardly versed in this particular area. Clearly, we're a bit uneducated regarding methods and such, but most of the packaging is quite confusing. Furthermore, reading a content label on the package of marijuana isn't something I'd been taught in school, so forgive me for needing to understand what the numbers and percentages of the listed acronyms means. Solid Yelp deal for grand opening. Still, we left satisfied.  #Gorilla Glue

Super easy check-in, free 1/8th for 1st time customers, and a budtender who greeted me in the waiting room- what's not to love! Great location off Morena and legit selection. Just moved into the area and realized I lived 2 blocks away from this place. Figured I'd check it out and I was astonished by the place.This isn't your standard sketchy office building dispensary, this place is the future of Cannabis. The architecture, open floor plan, and overall feel of the building itself made me feel safe and welcomed. A nice little waiting room is available while you wait for your turn and a friendly staff happily greets you as you walk in. The variety of products Urbn Leaf carries is crazy. They've got your concentrates, flower, edibles, seeds, clones, and even dog treats! I highly reccomend this dispensary to anyone with a current rec. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, huge inventory, interesting strains of clones, and very dog-friendly. Looking forward to visiting this place for all of my cannabis needs. Cash only as per usual but they have an ATM in store (I'd get cash from your bank to avoid the transaction fee) that is pretty convenient.

Now I officially have a comparison.  My first dispensary visit was to Golden State Greens in Point Loma. It was okay but I felt weird there.  GSG felt like an Employment Office actually.  Kinda dirty, very procedural, almost could argue I felt like I was going to visit someone in a penitentiary.  Urbn Leaf you are my new go-to place!   Beautiful store for starters. Clean.  And they know how to manage lines.  One line for Medical, one line for Recreational.  Max was great to work with. He totally listened to what I was saying, and he brought over a range of options for me to check out.  This place has clean lines and is totally modern. You feel good being in there.  I felt kinda gross being inside Golden State, sorry to say.  UL is such a better experience. Never mind that I was the first person in the door at 7am and there were probably 20 people in line when I left a few minutes later.  This is probably the only storefront I will visit. Great selection of high-quality edibles and tinctures.

I went to get some CBD oil, edibles and some high-THC joints to see if they help with my sciatica and back pain. My only other options are Opioids (which are highly addictive), or Ibuprofen which doesn't really help with the sciatica and is bad for my liver. Physical therapy and stretching helps but I still have daily pains.My experience at this place was great - I went on Monday morning so there was no line. Security checked my bag, then I had to show my ID to proove I was 21. The "bartender" was very helpful in advising me what I should buy. They only take cash, but they have an ATM inside.I am glad MJ is now legal here in California so that I can try to see if it works for my chronic pain. I never gotten around to get a medical MJ card as I couldn't get it from my own doctor, and it just seemed cumbersome. Now it's easy. I voted for legalization and thanksfully did many Californians.I got a childproof pouch for the items I bought. Overall I can highly recommend this place. Keep in mind, this place is not cheap (I spent about $185), but going to regular doctors and getting OTC/prescription drugs costs a lot of money also. I am excited to finally try MJ to see if it works. I think it's kind of idiotic that my own doctor cannot prescribe me MJ/CBD oil, but can prescribe the more addictive Percocet. This needs to change in my opinion. Thanksfully I was treated respectfully here at this place!

I'm so confused by all of the good reviews? This shop charges twice as much as other clubs and their quality is mediocre at best. I went to the new location on Sunrise since it's close to my home. Very disappointed. I won't return. I paid damn near $40 for two grams plus tax! Never again.

I've come here a handful of times and have no complaints. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, as willing to answer questions. The store is also very clean and bright, not what you think of when you envision a dispensary. Only downside is wait times can be long, but that's to be expected, just wait patiently and plan for some extra time.

Update on problem listed:  Owner called me back told me he was in the process of fixing problem list in my post.. He was very nice.. The store is beautiful, staff  sweet.. Problem:  Twice I have come to buy product advertised on the Urbn Leaf web page, twice I have call to confirm the product was in stock, at the price advertised, to find it was not in stock (staff didn't even seem to know what I was talking about ).. but there was a more expressive product  or lower quality product they could sell  me.....  Today the second time this happen,  I see a pattern and am giving a heads up to others who might be thinking of going to Urbn Leaf based on their specials/deals  .  Frist time:  called store told product was n the store, want to store ,no product.  We were told by store staff product was in their other store .I had staff Urbn Leaf Buenos  called other  store to make sure product in store, drove to second Urbn store they didn't have the advertised product!!.But we could buy something else!!.. Today SECOND time it happen.  I took photo of the advertisement from the Urbn Leaf web page, I called the store and again and was  told by Urbn staff they  had the product in stock.. Want Urbn Leaf  buy,  when I got to the store staff told me they didn't have the product advertised but they could sell me something else (what they wanted to sell me did not have the quality of the  product advertised) .   I was told by manager that they often don't have what they advertise, as they run out .. This is how it felt to me, bate and switch.. Urbn Leaf can have a few bags of what they advertise to get you into the store and then sell you something of lower quality or higher price when you get to the store.. It was a bad feeling.. It take a few clicks to take a product off your web page, if you no longer have it stock.. .. as of this time the product is still being advertised and is not in your store.  I would so much like the owners to respond to my experience, saying they have looked into this problem and fixed it.. I do like your store and staff, but your business policy needs some work.  Tried to call owners before posting but not available..

Urban leaf was a highly pleasurable experience. I bought a prerolled joint covered in hash oil and keef, that was hands down the best joint I've ever smoked. One of the security guards can hardly speak english. He was yelling at me to get my "wallet out" when he actually meant my ID which I had in hand. I flashed it to him and he did not even look at it before he started waving his hand saying "NO WALLET" "GET YOUR WALLET", while my holding my id up to my face. I told him no I do not need to take my entire wallet out because I have my identification in hand. He then walked away as I tried to ask him to explain himself, asking why he began to scream inside for no reason. Later I found out his vocabulary was extremely limited when he just started making noises and waving his hands away when I asked him why he was being so rude.  I do not mind that he cannot speak english, but when a law enforcement officer or security guard cannot simply communicate with another human then I can only see problems arising. Not to mention he just put me in a terrible mood before going in which led me to purchase nothing. Could they put such terrible security guards in the front so that people buy more weed because they are more stressed out? (Joking) but it almost seems that way because the budtenders inside are MONEY. If you're a non smoker the budtenders are on your side. They are very knowledgable and kind. Almost the complete opposite of the security guards. WARNING:  All urbn leafs MID SHELF TO LOW SHELF bud is overpriced and bad quality. If you are seeking good weed and deals "legally" see TRUmeds on weed maps. $50 minimum delivery with phenomenal prices and products.

WOW! This is my first dispensary visit and I had such a great experience. Be prepared, you may have to wait a bit to get into the store as they run their business professionally and is obviously one of the best of it's kind. It's absolutely worth the wait though so just bring your patience. Once inside the store I was lucky enough to visit Mike's counter. I am new to the cannabis world and was looking for something to help with sleep and inflammatory pain from an auto immune disease I suffer from. Michael was SO knowledgable, professional and informative. You can instantly tell how passionate and educated he is when it comes to all things cannabis. He asked genuine questions to ensure he understood my needs and concerns which I really appreciated since I'm a newbie. The store itself is absolutely beautiful and their inventory is impressive. All the staff seemed happy to be working there and I honestly can't wait to go back! Though I'm sure everyone is amazing to work with, I highly suggest asking for Mike. Bravo Urbn Leaf!

So I've been here before several times because the location is convenient. However, now I'll never be back. There are so many dispensaries to chose from, this place is not worth the price and hassle. One product - a low dose drink - went up in price from $18 to $26 in less than a week. The budtender told me at the beginning of the transaction it was $18. Then after waiting around for her to pitch me on several different brands and products and ask several other people what was going on with the price discrepancy.. felt like a lifetime standing there with cash in my hand.. I was told that yes they increased the price 45%. If I was just told the correct price from the beginning and not made to wait around and hear pitches about everything else I wouldn't have been so put out. But wow. The girl was nice, and it wasn't her fault, but every time I come here I have to listen to sales pitches and the prices are very high. My advice: Go elsewhere.

Ordered $100+ and it said the order was delivered and complete, but nobody delivered it to me. Called literally 10x and no answer. What's the point of having a delivery option if you don't actually deliver?

Last time I went in, my budtender "forgot" to hand me my second bag which contained over $100 worth of flower. I didn't realize until I got home. I call the store right away and I tell them the situation and tell them to look at the security camera footage for proof. A week later, they call back to say they reviewed the security camera footage and indeed they messed up and i would get $100 of credit on my account. I was so relived. Until, I went into the store and was denied my credit. IN WHAT WORLD IS IT OKAY FOR A STORE TO STEAL $100 FROM A CUSTOMER?!? This place needs to be shut down.

This urbn leaf location has a nice selection of fresh products.I've been here a lot and every time I've been here there's been some problem on their end that results in standing around for 5 minutes while they figure it out.Every single time.The customer service at the San Ysidro urbn leaf is 100x better than the Bay Park location.

I wish I could give them 0.I was over charged by $25 and spent this much time on the phone trying to get my money back. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was told to stop being angry or he would not talk to me. See photos... wouldn't you be a little angry after spending this much time trying to get the $25 they owe you?

Used to be so friendly & helpful; I'd order ahead & they allowed me in before the people in line. Today, I got there & they were super slow! Let me in to "pick up" my order but the person in line behind me (before I figured out I could still go in w/o waiting - there are NO signs!) actually  was waited in long before me! I f***ing dropped $230 & couldn't get service expedited! WTF?!?

They confirmed my order but did not process or deliver it (clearly) very disappointed

I called Josh and ordered.I specified that the balm I was ordering be scentless.He assured me it was.The driver arrived with a sealed package.He left before I could examine it.The 99 dollar ounce of Afgaui Wowie was a bit old, to be expected for the price. Still acceptable.The balm was 50 bucks and it was with a strong scent of mint. So the balm was useless from my wife, who has a dry nose.Fifty dollar loss from my end.I was supposed to get a 20 dollar discount for buying over 100 dollars worth.I did not.On the phone, Josh wouldn't verify that the discount was applied, but told me: "The driver will take care of it after we order". WTF?I should have known better.                                       It was a huge red flag.Finally, you can see from the receipt I paid almost 50 dollars in taxes.If you deserve a med card, you must get one to save on the exorbitant taxation the government is placing upon this product.  The driver was great, and I don't hold him responsible for the oversight of applying my discount. That was Josh's job. I did tip 15 dollars to the driver. Looks like I won't be tipping any more of their drivers. I'm finding another dispensary. Live and learn. You learn from my experience.Be glad you did.

My second and third visits to this dispensary were horrible. They only take cash and they told me after I found everything I needed. I returned the next day to buy it and it was gone. They reassembled most of it only because I had them print a fake receipt before I left. However, they did not have it all and would not honor the price from the previous day. It was over $500 with a 15% early-bird discount, but they would not give it to me.The herb at this location is overpriced albeit good. With a 15% discount it is not too bad. The people are fairly nice although a little unprofessional and were unable to give me the same herb at the same price. I was surprised that it was not ready and waiting for me with other pickup orders and I was surprised it was not the same price. They never said anything about putting everything back on the shelf and I figured it would be there the next day. I made it pretty clear that I was returning the next day.A bunch of kids that know a few things run this place. They are bound and tied to the system and unable to treat people like human beings.

This place is epic! Variety of selection, chill vibe, and the staff is extremely friendly!

Make sure you tell the security people you're picking up an Express order so you don't have to wait in line for your bag that is just sitting there...

Ordered online so I didn't have to stand in line for 1 hr. They ran out of some products I ordered but tried to give me something similar, which was nice. This is my 1st time at this location, very organized, during the daytime. They have some specials, items on sale, and discounts. Good quality products but prices are higher than other dispensaries.

I just came to Urbn Leaf for the first time (I’m from Chicago) and had a great experience. I felt super comfortable, it’s large, clean, and everyone is helpful and friendly! Erika was really patient with me and also very honest, which was very appreciated. I would definitely recommend coming here!

I came here for the first time in May 2018 and the budtender I had (I'm sorry I forgot his name) was extremely helpful! He is a big part of the reason I am returning today. He asked questions to help me decide what was the right thing to purchase as I was unsure. He went above and beyond to help me and I am SO appreciative! All of the staff are very professional, friendly and helpful whenever I’ve visited. I feel like they have a nice selection to choose from and at reasonable prices. If you want to check out a dispensary in SD this is the place to go! I have and will return every time I’m in town. Thank you for a consistently great experience! ?

My first time there. Was easy to find. The bud tenders were friendly and knowledgeable. They didn't have what I went for, but the bud tender showed me a couple choices that were similar for the same price and I'm happy with the one he recommended that was closest to what I wanted. The facility is very well organized and clean.
