My original review was for a book store, but these guys are dope and still deserve a 5 star anyways lol

I've been going to them long before delivery. So glad that when I need it most the clubs started delivering. The delivery drivers are very sweet and bring my orders quickly. Usually far less than an hour! They take credit and ATM cards which is a double plus for me because driving to get cash is a chore in it self. Wish I could get a mobile ATM delivery. LolThe product is usually on point and they are quick to give free samples and rectify issues as they come up. Their variety is great from flowers to eatables! They definitely come highly recommended. Give them a try!

The new location on 9th Street is pretty sweet. Sort of a modern Swedish chill design ... and the floors are cool (and the bathroom). Nice people in the shop. I work nearby and it's easy for me to swing by this spot. Nice place to come and smoke after work. Check it out. Good times.

Martin Olive has done a great job.  I went to their old location in the Haight.  Good, honest, helpful people, quality products !

Definitely love this place!! I have a dispensary near my work and it sucks!! So a block over is the Vapor Room that has great product and awesome people that workk there!! I highly recommend this place!!

Oh my God this place is the WORST.  We drove all the way up from the South Bay for the re-opening.  I wanted to get a pax pod because they were offering a $1 engraved pax device with purchase of a full price pod.  They were also SUPPOSEDLY offering buy one OM product, get a second for $1.  We checked in and gave them our ID's.  Nice employees at the front.  Then we got in line and all the pax pods were sold out.What about a raincheck or something?? I really just wanted the device anyway. At least there were a few of the OM bath salts and gummies left, so we waited to buy those. When we got to the register, the girl said that they wouldn't honor the deal that they had been advertising!! She said that because they were on the shelves they weren't included in the promotion. The girl had a lot of attitude and she said she had to ask her manager.  Ask to sell something? What the hell is that about? Why have stuff on the shelves then?  What a bait & switch operation. This is the only dispensary I've ever walked out of empty-handed.

I hate dispensaries that feel like a gentleman's club. I'm a New Yorker god dammit (originally from SF), so the super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff likened their shop to the "bodega" of pot shops... an artisanal bodega to be sure! Clean, bright, with a bountiful offering in a space that still feels intimate. Perfect pot shop for a week visiting the fam :)

This place me brings me back so many good memories of the past..I'm still missing the medical days. Clean, friendly and kool vibes. Check them out.

Very cute spot, decor, design of the space it's high quality products. Super welcoming and chill vibe from the people who work there and quick signup one your first visit. Debit card or cash accepted with a bathroom! They allow for you to lounge and smoke inside, but the only downside is that everyone outside in the streets can walk by and see you doing so. Not much privacy but cool we were able to just smoke inside. Prerolls; African Queen and Space Coyote was solid!

The staff here are very efficient and friendly, especially Ally! She is extremely helpful and understanding in resolving my electric battery issue. On top of it, she have a great work ethic and holds a strong knowledge in her work field. Will come back again for sure, thanks Ally!

Its good to be back! After a 3 year hiatus, I am back and boy, I am impressed. Vapor Room was awesome before, but has really stepped up in the new place.  I loved VR years ago for the amazing staff and service (Oliver, Martin, Herm...) and nice selection of buds. The volcanoes and chill welcoming atmosphere always kept me coming back. The new spot is even nicer, and well organized. I am looking forward to trying the new buds and goodies and meeting the newer staff members. Highly recommended!

This place is overrated as hell. Last year this was the first cannabis club I started going to, and the selection was nice and the weed was great...now not so much. They sell the meds by the gram only, which is retarded. Pre weighed bags, even worse. The staff isn't RUDE they're just unfriendly. which is worse but that isn't the point. Some people spend good money at clubs everyday, the least the staff could do is make them feel welcome. Spend your money elsewhere.

WELLLL... four stars for convenience and service.  At the Vapor Room, I don't get quite as much for my dollar as I do at other clubs, but it kind of balances out.  It's in a convenient location for me, I can get in and out when I'm trying to grab some quick green on the go, and the staff is friendly and helpful.I like to try out as many different kinds as I can but then if I like something, they usually don't have it when I go again.  I don't mind because it still means there's something new to try, but don't fall in love with any strain because it'll only leave you and break your heart, only to pop up again when you least expect it.I really like how the weed is packaged, color-coded, and labeled.  I wish it wasn't pre-measured though.  I don't know why but that bothers me, especially because I really don't get as much here as I do at other places.  But they take credit cards!  That is immensely convenient, one less thing to think about because I never have to stop for cash if I don't already have it.Hanging out is pretty cool here, they had all the major games on during NFL regular season.  This brought a tear to my eye.  Members there are friendly too.  Oh yeah, back to the staff for a second.  One chick with a rude attitude seemed to be taking her job too seriously when she signed me up for my (free) membership, but it was just one person and I never saw her again.  Maybe she was a figment of my imagination.

My oh my, how things have changed! If you read my last review, FORGET ABOUT IT.................... NOW THIS PLACE KILLS IT SON!. Always quick to get through the front door, then stroll past the group of tables (where there are ALWAYS people congregatin). Make eye contact with one of the people in the back, and get prepared to wait uncomfortably next to the display area. Look at your new best friend, the employee you just made eye contact with, and hope he indicates that you should step up and see what's on display.You'll find 8 different buds on the left side, conveniently color coded, displayed in jars which you can open, but not touch. To the right is a display of all the edibles (which can be both tasty [$6 Raspberry thingy] or potent ["4X" giant brownie]). But what you came here for is directly in front of you....a nice selection of hash (and kief, and maybe a few pre-rolls). Hash is pretty much always $30 or $40 per gram, but sometimes you can get a half gram.If bud is your thing the price structure is $15/gram, until you hit 4grams which is $55. above that I don't remember, because I told you, you go there for the hash!At this point you're faced with a decision....be hasty and grab a bong and toke right quick....or perhaps crumble your bud down and vaporize a bag......me, well I usually beat a quick retreat and make like the wind.Here's the skinny: this places sells a small selection of ONLY quality herb. They have solid prices and you get what you pay for no doubt. The staff isn't always the smoothest, but who cares? give working potheads a break....Considering that the bus leads directly from my house to this place.....it's becoming my goto spot...why travel farther when I've got this right here? Even so, you'd do best to consider making a trip over here with 30 bucks and your favorite papers.......buy yourself a pungent gram of bud and snatch a half gram of whatever hash is thirty per gram, sit at the table, roll up, and .... you know ... GET BAKED :)--Addendum: I keep the sticker on my card, and the doorman is happy to scan it real quick.....super simple

I am, as it turns out, a sick man. Nothing contagious, mind you- simply an issue of having the occasional migraine (you're so sweet to be concerned!), an issue that can be dissipated by medical marijuana.Once I got my card saying that I can do a thing that little jason l. would never have believed- fearlessly carry weed (grew up in small town Texas, don't you know...), I went straight for the Vapor Room. I remember when they set up shop. I was living on Steiner and Haight at the time, and was freshly moved in from the East Coast. I was messing with Naked Eye Video at the time- I'd painted a bunch of high bounce balls as eyeballs, and had given them legs and top hats and would set them up on or near their door with little angry notes demanding to know where the naked eyes were. And then, suddenly, there was a pot club in my neighborhood. It reeked of pot smoke and had a sixteen-foot-tall door guy, being imposing as only a sixteen-foot-tall door guy can be.So I'd wanted to see the interior since I was a freshly-minted San Franciscan. And two days ago I went behind the green door.(Has that joke been used yet? It's pretty easy, actually, and I'm almost scared to use it without reading through all the VR reviews.)Ohmygod. It's a lounge with a knowledgeable staff of sommeliers (or whatever the equivalent word would be for dope), reasonable prices, and vaporizers, bongs, and pipes available for you to use should you be in a gigantic hurry to smoke what you just legally bought.The sommeliers are these adorable, viciously blazed stoners who can tell you what the high will be like ("This will come on really heavy with a body high and make you sleepy, but will have almost no mental high at all,"), and friggin' TASTING NOTES ("This is floral with a hint of citrus.").That's all I can say right now. I did not try the giant orange couch, and I didn't use their vaporizers. I was in too much of a hurry to show my friends the two kinds of bud & the hash I had just bought. Legally.Can I love San Francisco more without trying to physically make love to it? Would it be weird if I did?

coming. here is a must if im in the city its what I always imagine a dispensary would be it a smaller dispensary with a nice feel dark wood a lounge area where you can smoke and just chill the buds they hav are good quality prices are a bit high but I can only imagine the rent in San Francisco most dispensaries that allow you to smoke seem to be like a crack house for potheads this place has a really good feel clean and the relax atmosphere it is easy to miss so pay attention when you're driving by. see you soon vapor room

Love these folks. Always been part of the old school down home great SF vibe. They've got everything you could want and are really nice to boot. Sounds like what you came to San Francisco for, right?

Ok, so I do not smoke, nor have i been in here, but this place used to look like a total sketchy ass drug den (ok, maybe not that bad)  but they remodeled and now it looks totally respectable.Thanks vapor room!

My favorite club BY FAR.  They are knowledgable, polite, and have great prices.  They accept credit card with out charging you "tax" on top of it like other places may.  Some people my complain about the pre-packing, but all the benefits outweigh that.  Every time, I've had the best quality skunk. I like the Trainwreck best so far and for edibles, the caramel-choco crispy is my fave.  I can eat an eighth of it and be HELLZA baked for only $6.Love it here.

Well,The Vapor Room is relaxing and the prices for the medication are decent for being the chronic that it is.The atmosphere is very nice with multiple Volcanoes to use. However, it can often be hard to find seating in the busy Vapor Room. Also, the staff are pretty monotonous. They haven't been unfriendly but they have not been very persuasive to bring me back.They have some choice edibles you wouldn't find elsewhere. I would recommend the Chocowaska to anybody who believes they have a very high tolerence to edibles.Overall, definitely check it out and see what you think for yourself. I would say it is most certainly worthwhile to go and experience a truly unique club.

Best selection/bang for your buck of any edibles/extracts counter I've seen.  I only shop here for extracts.The bud is consistently good but selection is usually pretty limited.  Also I don't like the fact that it is pre-bagged and you smell from one jar, but buy a different bag.  I prefer to have it weighed and bagged in front of me, from the same jar I sniffed.Sitting down at your own vap is cool and sets this place apart from the rest.-2 stars because of 2 big things:1.  At my last visit, the obvious use of medicine by the doorman while on the job was not cool at all.  He was spaced out and had to be reminded to let me in by another staff member.  This is your FRONT DOOR SECURITY!I  Very important in this business.  All other shops seem to have this down, no problem. Get it together!2.  At my second-to-last visit, I went late afternoon on a saturday and it was a MADHOUSE.  Not the calm soothing environment you'd hope for to medicate quietly in - it felt more like a college frat party with tables packed full of young people and barely any space to move around.  I want something a little more low-key, seems like this place is a little too popular during busy hours.-EDIT-Every time I go in here, it seems to be more crowded than last.  I just get what I need now and leave immediately, since tables are not available.  Its cool that they provide a place for patients to relax, but it just isn't the low-key experience I prefer.  I think the counter should be separated from the lounge.

I rarely smoke the stuff, but this place seems to sincerely want to give the best product for what ails you.  The owner told me that the prices were high to keep people from buying and re-selling on the street, and that sometimes they charge less for needy medical patients.Seems like they're trying to be good neighbors.Good selection of products to smoke/eat/inhale, etc.

This place is as good as expected, no better, no worse.The place is a co-op, and so you have to put a little sticker on your card to get in. Really, that's irrelevant. What is relevant is what they offer their customers. One thing I liked about this club is that you can purchase your trees by price. If the eighth you're craving is 50 bucks per eighth, and you have 45, you can purchase 45 dollars worth. Their product is about on par with average clubs in the city. They had some good strands while I was there: Northern Lights, Purple Kush, etc, but the quality of my product was not impressive compared to the same strand from other clubs. The staff is interesting to talk to but definitely all about business and not companionship. Their prices are okay. I guess if you are on the Haight and can't or don't want to travel elsewhere to pick up some bubonic chronic, this is your best bet in that area. Otherwise, order your buds from Green cross or head up Ocean Avenue.

Great little cannibus club located in Weed Capital USA...The Haight! I love this classic throwback feel this place has. The check in process is pretty simple, and it was easy to get a table to vape as well. They have classics and use the solid valves, which works, but took some getting used to.The vibe is good. When it comes to watching sports it seems like one of the places to be. You could get a couple of drinks at the bars nearby and then mosey on in to the Vapor Room and enjoy some cool chill California Medication.Their bud is very good, and if you like variety this is your go to place. Simple pricing makes it easy for the patient to try numerous strains, and 300/oz mix and match is also a steal. When I make some good money, I'm def. going to take Vapor Room up on that offer.All in all an extremely chill club that allows you to smoke, vape, and just flat out relax!

I love the Vapor Room. It's the ideal place to hang out with a friend over a game of chess and a stare-at-the-fishtank session. I go mostly on rainy or foggy days; it's like a living room down the street for me.I sometimes bug my friends to get their cards just so they can hang out there with me!The only issue I have is: I wish the staff would mark their strains' sativa/indica contents.

After finally moving home from Los Angeles after college, i was on the search for a dispensary that would meet my needs. I used to work near the vapor room and the people that worked there were always nice to me as a passerby, so i thought i would give it a try now that i am a patient.Every time i go in, the guy at the door (no matter which one it is) calls me "pretty lady", which, in my opinion is a wonderful complement as opposed to the "ey ma" that i would normally get from boys in the bay area. the girl at the desk, although quiet, always takes my card with a smile to check me in. When i approach the counters i feel more like a kid in a candy store than a buyer going on a drug deal. The atmosphere is always welcoming and I never feel awkward going in like i did in almost every single dispensary in LA.The prices are more than fair. none of this "$75" crap. I truly enjoy going in here, and not just because I'm getting my medicine. As an artist, i appreciate the way they have set everything up from the layout to the cedar drawers that they keep the product in. it's clean, aesthetically pleasing, and calm. oh yeah. and the website is beautiful. totally different vibe, reminds me of a victorian apothecary. a bit strange on the UI, but its pretty. real pretty.and p.s.since i live in the state of california, yes, i am a legal patient, and no, i do not care that my picture is here on my profile because i am a card-carrying californian medical marijuana user.

Its funny .. this place use to be better before they moved next door and classed up the place .. dont get me wrong .. I like the new decor .. and the wood grain counter are nice .. but i prefer it the way it was back in '06 '07 when the staff was actually nice . and the product was actually good ..Now that they have moved and clearly have made this venture all about the buck !! Staff is 100% asshole from the sec you walk in the door (door guys) till the time you go to buy product in the back .. everyone is snobby .. and has their head up their ass .. I really dont like being looked down on when I ask for top shelf .. they never have good top shelf strains .. I used to frequent the Vapor Room on the regular, but things change.  For example, over the years, the customer service has gone way down hill.  They insist that you have a "club membership" and put a sticker on your recommendation.  So one time I lost my wallet, and then I didn't have the sticker on my other copy of my note, and they flipped out and were like "This is a very important sticker, if you loose this again we don't have to issue another" and in my brain I was like "Fuck You." but I said "fine" instead, b/c I like the customization of amounts on concentrates.Regardless,  they're mostly douchey, their medicine ranges from very good to meh, and if you are in need and in the Haight, there are worse decisions you could make than utilizing The Vapor Room's patient services.

My favorite Location in San Francisco to get my medication.  Happy place, although I am not happy that they need your letter and a card now...Why pay all tha tmoney to the state?

Were do I begin, first the Vapor Rooom is a plesent place to get your medicine. They are very helpful in making selections, and giving advice on the diferent effect's that the strains. They give back and help out the comunity and neighborhood i'm proud to call them my neighbors. That's my story!!

I miss going into VR, I used to drive to San Fran from Fresno to get meds, I was sad to hear they were being shut down. The worst part is every time I went there the girl that worked the front counter wasn't there & I couldn't sign up to become a member so now when I o up there I can't even call them for a delivery. I had the same bud tender every time I think his name was Mike he was the best bud tender EVER.

One of the best Clubs in San Francisco. Hands down. I have had my Docs Rec for over a few years now and i have also been to every club in SF since i live in this city. Vapor Room hands down is one of the best club. I am a regular and go all the time to relax, medicate and meet new people. The atmosphere at this place is phenomenal, and the staff is even better. Vapor Room reminds me a lot of Amsterdam and can be compared to as a lounge. This is why i love Vapor Room. I can experience a little bit of Amsterdam right ehre in my city. So far, i have never been to another club throughout the whole CA state that can provide this. I always love to go here for their cannabis and to catch up with the other regulars here. Vapor Room has an outstanding variety of cannabis. They carry very high grade quality marijuana and they have never seem to let me down. One thing i have to recommend here is their hash. they are superb. Also if you never have used a Volcano before i suggest stopping by and trying it out. The Vapor Room...I like this place, I do. Pretty friendly staff, a few surprising perks here and there, quality buds for the most part. Sometimes a little on the dry side. But the prices are legit, always people at the tables hanging out, chill atmosphere. VP seems like more of a lounge than a bank, which is refreshing. I also like it for its convenient location, although sometimes I feel a little out of place here, not sure why. Maybe its the pseudo-elite Haight vibe winding through the streets.  I do wish they stayed open later, but what can ya do!

I have never been dissapointed here with the QUALITY of the meds....I cant always come here because of the prices which are cheaper than most disp but still more than I can afford on a regular basis....I usually come here for a treat or when im in the area munchin at memphis minniesthey always have good buds for about 50/8th  but my main reason to visit this disp is their wonderful high grade HASH :D although kind of pricey you will not be dissapointed, i have had some of the finest resins from this disp and Ialways been treated with respect.Thanks again vapor room...see you soon!

Awesome club ... nice rustic Amsterdam style coffee shop feel ... couple volcano stations to smoke at and a nice bong selection which you can borrow from ...The medicine selection is for the most part nice .. i dont need to much to choose from just something tasty and relaxing ... they also give water as well :)all in all cool place to go in your looking to get medicated on Haight Street and hey lots of good food around for afterwards ...

Easily the best dispensary in San Francisco.It helps that it's only a block from my apartment, but I've found the staff to be incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and while the selection isn't quite as big as some of the other dispensaries in The City, I find it more than adequate and as varied as my needs demand. Great selection of edibles, kief, hash, joints and some unique items, like the Hemp Chocolate Milk (thumbs up). The real deal-maker here, though, is the lounge. I rarely spend more than an hour here, but the Volcano vaporizers at ever table make this my spot to medicate. Walking a block up the street to spend a little time vapeing is one of my favorite afternoon pasttimes. This is a good spot to pack up a bong and take milky, milky hits.also, their volcanoes are ideal for an afternoon medication session.medicinal marijuana can help with a number of illnesses. it's a great feeling to walk into a shop and peruse a selection of redolent buds which in most of the country are considered a class d substance.clean and friendly, the vapor room offers not only a great selection of buds and snacks, but there are a few tables to get medicated.

I'm new to San Francisco and the world of Medical Marijuana. Luckily, I found my way into this club by the likes of one of your patients who spoke highly of the joint. She like myself love edibles so she gave me her top 2 go to spots and what to get.The door guy was super chill and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I followed there recommendations on smoke and picked up some granola nugs, irish moss & chocowaska. The chocowaska gave me the sleep that I needed! AMEN! The Irish Moss was perfect for hiking and the granola nugs I'm happy to keep around the house and snack on. You can vaporize here which I've never done before, so maybe miss beautiful tattooed girl (if your reading this) maybe we can smoke together here I know your in the neighborhood!VR you guys are doing good things here!I'll be back!

I just wish the prices were better.  Everything else about those guys is pretty outstanding.  They provide a great space for medical cannabis patients to socialize,  tryout vaporizers, as well as to shop in their great variety of cannabis and accessories. The customer service is very good and the place is aways clean (not mentioning the classic movies they play on their flat screen).The best cannabis club in town!

when i heard that the vapor room coop was being forced to close their retail store at the end of this month, i figured that it was important to try to support their free delivery service.  i placed 2 orders for delivery this week, both for the minimum delivery amount...$55 for four grams, each sealed before it leaves the club.  both orders arrived in under an hour.  neither time would the driver take even a dime of tip (and i'm persistent).it could not get any easier.

The Vapor Room is now closed.This place was a model for how a cannabis dispensary should operate.  Friendly staff, nice vibe inside, quality security, excellent medicine, and definitely focused on the patient outcome and medical nature of it all.Sad that it fell victim to a federal crackdown.  This was San Francisco's most beloved dispensary.A moment of silence please, for a San Francisco institution...UPDATE:  The Vapor Room is still offering delivery services!  But this is only to current members, which means you had to come in to the VR while it was open and sign up/get a member number.  UPDATE TO UPDATE:  My first use of VR delivery:  Placed order at 5:30pm, told they are running late and it would take a while due to traffic for Outside Lands, and to be patient and not call back for a bit. I called back at 10pm, got an answering machine, left a message -- no call back or update of any sort.   They totally lost my order and then ignored me.  This is the worst thing a dispensary can do -- leave a patient with a promise they'll have meds, and then forget about them.  Even worse, by the time I realized they were definitely not coming (since no one called me or anything), all other dispensaries were closed for the night. -2stars.  Only keeping 3 stars because of the brick and mortar place this used to be. If you don't like getting burned, don't use the delivery service.

While deserving of 5 stars, there are constructive ways that the club could become even better.  If it were to expand, the club could be a proper place to chill.  As it is now, for the space, it feels like they're trying to pack a little too much in too small of a space.  That's not necessarily a bad thing for the co-op.  They're just perhaps bordering on outgrowing the current space.I must confess that I don't make it in as frequently, and the main reason is the cramped atmosphere.  Often, there is not an available seat at a table to sit and relax, without waiting for a spot to open up.  This is especially complicated if trying to come with a group of people for a planned occasion.  The teas are the best in town, and there are a good variety of flavors!

The vapor room is clean, chill, stocked, and irie.The emloyees are super chill.The bud is kind.The Volcanos are abundent.And there is plenty of stuff to do/trip off.Plus the orange couch is hella comfy.You're sos toked right now.

How could one not love this place??  The neighborhood is lively, the staff is always happy, friendly, and very helpful.  It's always nice to go in there and strike up a conversation with any of them.  I am the kind of person that finds a place I like and continues to go back.  I will tell you, the first time I experienced The Vapor Room, there was no need for me to go anywhere else.  The atmosphere is just right, you can purchase weed, relax on one of their couches, or get a massage on certain days.  What more could you ask for?I've read that people think that their bud is expensive.  I can't really see that. To me, I always get great quality weed, and the occasional hook up. I guess it helps to be a regular ;)  I recommend this place to anyone who has never been, or is just tired of the many other dispensaries around the city.  This is a jem!

The Vapor Room was my first dispensery as soon as I moved into San Francisco and got my 215.I have to say from the first minute, I felt very comfortable, in a very relaxed environment. The staff is always knowledgeable and gives excellent advise and service.After a while I got to know some other patients, and it definitely is a warming, welcoming medical dispenserie with high grade quality medicine. Vapor Room sets an example for how a professional compassionate healthcare club should work. I hope that they can serve as an example for future references.Thanks all

You do realise this is public domain and if a perpestiove hiring manager or even your boss were to see a review with your picture tied to it you could lose your job right?   This is one of the many reasons why I have a hard time taking advice from some people here.  Common sense people, having your pic next to a review for a WEED SHOP may not be the best thing for your career, or maybe lack there of.  Anyway I digress...This place is the nicest place in the city.  with a complete remodeling, the vapor room hands down is the best place to buy and medicate. Not a big fan of how they are bagging things now, but still like setup and the friendly staff.The "medicine" is always fresh and because of this there is a new menu almost every week.  The baked goods here are little steep, but very high quality, no pun intended. the 4 dose, really is a quad dose so, don't mess around and eat the whole thing or your weekend maybe wrecked. Also they have 3 vaporizers , so just bring your bag and vap up.

A very nice atmosphere. This club is definitely one to go out of the way for to check out and if your in the neighborhood definitely your club although for bud it's pricey. Not only do they have a great edible selection, but usually a good price range for the hash. The bud is all set price (if I'm not mistaken 55 an eighth)The best part about this dispensary is they provide for those in need. There are also many activities they provide for people throughout the day. There is also a board game cabinet and a big screen plasma tv which they leave on. While it is the vapor room with 3 or 4 different volcanoes they also allow plain smoking. While you can bring your papers or favorite piece they also have their own water pipes that are very big. I do recommend bringing your own screen if you like to break your bud though as they are big holed and you will suck it though before it totally burns. All in all my favorite  special disperse.

I'm not a member of the Co-op but  I am very impressed with their activity in the local community.I've been attending FREE yoga classes sponsored by the Vapor Room at the Milk Center for several months now.  I'd like to formally commend Vapor Room for facilitating this wonderful community service.It's well known that yoga provides tangible benefits in the health and well being of those who practice it.  For many, yoga is an unattainable practice due to cost ($15-17 per class).  The classes that Vapor Room sponsors are attended to by community members from all walks of life.  The benefits that you are providing to the community by offering this class at no cost cannot be measured unfortunately.  The current make up of the class includes individuals who are obviously very grateful to be there and support each other in every way they can.  It's really a beautiful thing to see people come together this way. Also, each of the teachers are absolutely top notch.  I've been quite impressed with Vapor Room's generosity and willingness to provide top quality instruction.Many thanks to Vapor Room for your continued diligence in providing the community with a path to healthy living.

This is perhaps the best co-op I've ever been to. Everyone is REALLY friendly, they have pretty good prices and super dank meds. Very relaxed and happy environment, with patients medicating all around- you cannot leave this place disappointed. I will most definitely remain a loyal patient at The Vapor Room.

I love the Vapor Room, talk about a community! I have tried many different places, and this one is my favorite. The staff, including the two guys at the front door, have ALWAYS been really nice to me. I have never had a unpleasant or unfriendly time there. The selection is fresh and I like it that I can buy small or larger amounts.  They also sponsor free yoga and do allot for the neighborhood. Easy parking, friendly staff, quality products...The Vapor Room is a great example of how the clubs could and should be....

I'm gonna go ahead and call The Vapor Room overrated. *gasp* "Blasphemy!" The atmosphere is definitely well thought out and highly efficient, the medicine is good, the people are friendly, yes yes... It's a great club, it genuinely is, but I have trouble seeing the "single price" as an advantage. While it ensures a specific level of medicine quality, one can never be sure they  truly are getting $50 an eighth quality. The advantage, obviously, is knowing exactly how much your weed is going to cost, but there is virtually no bulk discount that you MIGHT get at SOME other clubs (not always). My problem with the scenario is that they can slip in buds worth $45 an eighth here and there (oh I can tell alright), but they'll never throw in $55 an eighth quality for the price, you know what I'm saying? The socialist approach to marijuana pricing doesn't work because I can't tell how "good of a worker" that weed is or if it "slacks on the job." It's all about marijuana capitalism.... shut up, you know what I mean.Their buds presentation is fairly organized, but I've seen more organized still (as in proportions of indica and sativa).There really is nothing like a leisurely day in Lower Haight though. Stopping into Vapor Room, picking up a little something, taking a seat at one of the tables with the adorable miniature metallic-green Volcanoes, loading it up and spending countless minutes staring into the aquarium before finishing up and moving on the the fabulous Lower Haight bar scene. Ahh, that's beautiful.The Vapor Room is a definite spot to "hang out" for an hour with a friend, if your friends are medical status as well. I spent some time there with a friend before they remodeled the place and we stumbled out of it as if we'd been taking shots of whiskey the whole time. Very fun.Among the better clubs in the city, I just don't care for the "single price" thing. Also, they don't sell in any dollar amount like they used to, which is unfortunately becoming increasingly common in cannabis dispensaries.

I'm not a big fan of this place. It is always dark and seems kinda sleazy. they have a good selection of Med. MJ but the prices are high and the atmosphere is lacking. The location is great, right on haight st. but besides that I can't say too much. I am going to keep looking around far a chiller spot.

The facade is nicer, but the meds are still not enough to merit the prices at this dispensary I really want to like but just can't. I've raised the star rating by one because the guy behind the counter smiled at me last time, which was a rare and beautiful thing at the VR. I did observe that he was not nearly as nice to the patient in front of me. The medicine is still over priced and not nearly as potent as what's available elsewhere. If you want good medicine and knowledgable budtenders, go to Grass Roots instead, it's well worth the short drive.

A warning for prospective new members: VR now makes people come back a SECOND time before they will give you a membership and let you buy. I live in the upper haight and took the half hour (one way) walk, all excited to give VR a try. But it was not to be. They let me in only to "look."They do not keep a record of this first initiation visit either - the policy is bizarre. The stated reason is to "make sure you want to be a member." What I hear is "we think you are stupid and inconsistent in your decision making and we don't trust you."I mean, I'm there, standing in your shop, with the proper paperwork during weekday business hours. How does that not show enough intent?What's next, an essay test? TP another dispensary?Have not decided if I will go back - they don't seem interested in patients.

Extremely friendly employees. As soon as you walk in you feel a comforting vibe, and the decor almost feels like stepping into the 70's!! Very convenient  and close to the bridge.

Really good weed and a great smoking lounge filled with vaporizers, books and games make this place definitely worth checking out if you are a patient, but caregivers won't be allowed to hang out or smoke.  Expensive pot keeps this club from getting five stars.

Oh, Vapor Room, You were lovely to visit on my birthday. Friendly people, efficient system, the super chill Lower Height location, a really nice selection of medicines reasonably priced. Lovely edibles and concentrates. But the best part of all is the 19th Century neighborhood pub/opium den vibe of the place. I'm really excited about this place, and dearly wish it were in MY neighborhood. Alas, I'm in Contra Costa County, so this will only be a infrequent treat for me.And yes, I get why a pub/opium den analogy might be seen negatively, so I do apologize for it. Still, it's not only about the semi-illicitness of the medical cannabis industry that lends its charm, but it's the de facto community center for folks who are finding healing through this flower. People sitting together, smoking or vaping together lets you feel in community with other people. It is a way to share information in a relaxed setting.... not only about the medicines but the conditions for which we seek relief. It is something wonderful that western medicine makes extraordinarily rare, but should be a model for healing, not an aberration.One star deducted for non-lab-tested meds. I get why some people don't prefer them, but for me, I won't buy more than a gram without.

Its like the tv show "that 70's show" the only thing missing was the washer and dryer. Other than that this place isnt bad. I had expected a lot because my friends kept telling me to go to the club, and how it was the best in the city. Well first they were open on Sunday thats a plus.  but they only had like 4 types of meds. Whack. all meds were 50 an 8th it was 25 for half 8ths. they had hash and munchies and a chill ass spot to smoke it was cool a bit pricer than other shops and not a big selection. still my fav is divinty tree for better prices and better meds.

I love love LOVE the vapor room. Awesome edlibles and candy, awesome staff, very cozy, comfortable and cute little room. They did an excellent job redecorating and really know how to run a business. Reasonable prices with the occasional sumthin extra thrown in there. I've been a loyal customer of VR for years and will never switch clubs!

I haven't been to too many other bay area dispensaries, so I am basing my comparisons to the many I have been to in la.very friendly and smooth on checking in for the first time.  as the other reviews have said, there is a large area for people to hang out and medicate using the store's equipment (there is an hour limit on hanging out- sounds very reasonable to me.  I didn't stay as I had more errands to run, but it is a nice option.I took off one star because everything is pre-bagged and I like places that let me bring my own container, and that serve up from the jar you are basing your decision on.  that said, the product was quality and reasonably priced.  I asked if they did anything special for new patients and the nice and friendly budtender threw in a free house joint- works for me!  they don't take tips though, which I was slightly disappointed about.all in all, it's easy to see why it's so well-liked.

Maybe my new favorite club.  This place is always fully stocked and the staff is super friendly.  I think they might be stoned though....

The customer service here is great. As with most clubs I have been to, they all strive to treat you like royalty. The person who helped us, whose name escapes me, walked us through the entire selection. I bought a little herb here and some edibles to compare to my own at home. The edibles were merely ok. I admit I make better and more potent. But they did have some things I don't make, nor do I have time to. So I will come back to try them again. The suckers I got were plain weak. But I was told they weren't too strong. I'll still try them again tho to be sure. Overall, they have a cool vibe that's a little on the fancier side. But no one should be knocked off stars for trying to look and be the best. The prices were what I expected too. I will be back soon.

My good friend says this is her favorite place to go and the one time I was allowed in (I don't have a card but I was taking photos for a magazine) the people that worked there were nothing but nice and informative. If I was a frequent guest I'm sure I'd find the decor and couch cozy. It's got the feeling of someone's basement den. I mean that in a good way.

I love this place.  I personally think the staff is pretty friendly, I mean they are there to sell bud not be my bud.  They are fast, attentive, and take the time to answer questions. I don't know why they have so many people on their staff, but that doesn't really bother me.  At least it makes service super fast.  I think their prices are pretty fair, especially since it's some of the best medicine I've had out here.  I love that you can hang out and medicate here as well.   The facilities are clean and sterile, another plus.  It's also one of the few such clubs that are not located in SOMA, big plus for me as I can just walk here.  Sometimes it gets a little crowded, but the time limit on lounging helps mitigate that.  Overall, one of my favorite places in SF.

Went on my monthly 2 oz visit today at The Vapor Room.....Went up to the door with my proper paperwork and id and was told i couldnt shop there if i didnt become a member....Thats new to me!....I had to get in my car and drive to MR NICE GUY  to purchase my medicine instead...Ive been visiting potclubs in Sf for almost 15 years and have been asked to become a member many times, but never have they stopped me from purchaseing my medicine....Crazy, i wanted to give them$ 600-700 and they turn me away.....I also told the guy i live just a few doors up the street and showed him the address on my id, but he said no i need to join to shop here.....Ok Vapor room, you just lost a $700 a month client which fi you do your figures is $8400 a year........WOW...BAD BUSINESS!

Huge fan of this place and the people who run it.  I wish them the best of luck in future endeavors.  I really miss the Haight Street location.

I needed a topical balm, and I found Bab's Balms which doesn't smell like weed at all when you put it on. It smells like cucumber and it didn't leave me oily like some of the other salves. It took about 10 minutes to take effect, and my back pain slowly dissipated. This stuff is awesome! All of the ingredients are listed on the front of the jar. And the jar is totally reusable. Love it!

The new club is worth a trip over there. The closest thing I have experienced to an Amsterdam coffee shops state-side. Marble tables, beautiful display. This is how every club should operate. Def. need to step the hash game up though. Just sayin.....

What a top notch establishment.  This place has a great assortment, and they allow smoking inside.  And they have great facilities, hot water to clean out your pipe, clean bathrooms, paper towels if you spill, and plenty tables and chairs and ashtrays.  And I like the new laminate floor.  They've made it look nicer than the old one.  Oh and the prices are decent too.  Product is top notch no doubt.  One complaint.  I'm not really a fan of the attempt all the employees are making to be hip hop and "thugged out".  Also, I like to be personable, and these cats are just too cool for school.  They don't really even look up at you.  It seems they're angry about having to serve you.  Just my opinion.  I go into some clubs and everyone's alert and ready to tell you all about indica or sativa or purples and greens, and what's good lately.  Not this place.  But hell, I still go all the time.

Vapor Room is by far the best club in SF.the new facility is a vast improvement upon the old 70's show set that used to be called home.to go to the VR is to have one of the most unique experiences SF has to offer.the Name- the Vapor Room is true to it's name. the staff will vaporize your cannabis for you and give you a nice bag of lovely, better for you vapors.the Staff- mostly courteous and informative, can sometimes come off a little brash but i'm sure they deal with a lot of bullshit.the Goods- as of the last few weeks, the VR has had the best strain selection i've come across.at least 2-3 Kush or Kush crosses. multiple Purple, Purple crosses and a few old School strains like ORANGE CRUSH!!! come on, when's the last time you saw that one? i highly recommend they're Irish Moss drink which is like a cannabis smoothy. super delicious and potent.a wide selection of edibles to choose from but i can't say what's good cause i don't eat the herbs.the Decor- this has to be the finest designed, coolest displays for fine cannabis this side of the Atlantic. wood everything with a made by hand feel.(haven't been to Harbor Side but i've seen they have a pretty bad ass set up. could be some competition).when you're in the neighborhood you should definitely stop through and get yourself a bag of Vapor and a comfy seat to check out the scene.

Showed up about a half hour before closing.  Doorman was nice, but the budtender was baked out of his mind and acted pissy when I asked questions, even after I told him it was my first time there.The bud was excellent, but the hash was rough and rock hard, especially for 30 a gram.  And I get and appreciate that you can smoke there, but the smoke was so thick in there that it was just disgusting.  Get some vents, people.It has potential., but they need to fix things up a bit.

Just have to reiterate.. Vapor Room is the BEST! I've tried out so many places in SF but Vapor room always has the best service, staff and product! They're constantly adding new things, like their great pre-rolled giant, cone joints(only $12...$17-20 at Medithrive!) and awesome edibles (the best around). No place else compares. Love you, Vapor Room!!

MY FAVORITE. Love this place! Everyone from Security to the budtenders are very helpful. All SO friendly! If you love to shop, smoke, drink medicated tea & chill among some cool ass people, this is the place to go. They've got Volcanos to use & if your lucky, some experienced smokers at your table to teach you the ropes. I would chill here all day if I could, only downfall....2 hour time limit! But understandable, I'd live here if I could!

The vapor room is the best collective out there they always have friendly staff, great prices and top quality medication. I would recommend the vapor room to anyone who is looking for a great place to meet people in the community and to find what they are looking for. :)

We love the vapor room! We have been here a number of times and is on one of the first stops we make when we come to SF. Good quality meds and a great place to hang out, medicate and get to know other people from all over the place. All the budtenders and people that check you in have always been very nice and helpful. They keep the place clean and ask that if you do stay a while that you clean up after yourself. i would definately suggest you check this wonderful place out!

By far my favorite club in  the U.S....  They always have a wonderful selection of quality product at the right price, and now with their newly remodeled space, they have a laid back coffee shop environment to relax and enjoy your prescription, as well as a helpful viewing case and sample smelling jar when buying.  Got to love it here, definitely the best place to shop for cannabis.  Bottom line!

My go to spot for medicines.  The NICEST staff you could ever meet, I would like to be friends with them all and invite them to holiday parties and chill at the park.  Also, great selection of products, great prices and smiles from everyone!!  Best spot in the city to get your needs!!

You can use there tools to get your fix for medication. Selection is amazing and people working there are really great too. One of the best cannabis clubs around...

Agreed on the comments before mine saying that it's very friendly! Clean, and relaxing.

This place reminds me of my old garage when I lived in the Sunset District.  A very comfortable setting with your mom's old basement couches, an aquarium,  books, games, mags, skateboards, a volcano vaporizer etc.  The staff are all really friendly and it's a good place to chill and relax for a quick medication fix.  The herbal medicine itself  is a bit overpriced but the huge selection of edibles makes up for it. Try the cheesecake, it's rarely in stock but it's damm good.

To start off my girlfriend and I are not from SF and we have been here one time. That time my girlfriend didn't have her recommendation yet but was still allowed into the beginning of the place so she didn't have to freeze to death which I thought was odd but awesome. Walking In there seemed to be a little bit of chatter and good vibes all in all. There bud collection was not the most vast but had some pretty quality flowers. I only ended up purchasing some brownies which were delicious and potent.Just the other day we decided to comeback and hit a few clubs in SF to taste some of SF's finest concentrates edibles and flowers now that she had her recommendation. We stopped by hear and were greeted and we got in pretty quickly just like the last time I had came still a decent crowd of people but just a bunch of friendly stoners. We bought 2 Mud Pies which were amazing. The best part was chilling and vaping in some nice quality volcanoes (which are at almost every table). We hung out and matched (shared bud) with some other patrons and it was rather awesome. No one rushed us. There was water and water cups. Overall I would have to say I would definitely hang out here more if I lived in SF.

the vapor room had a cool vibe. lots of people in the front section hanging out and enjoying their purchases.they let you in to purchase and if you want to come back a second time that is when they have you fill out paperwork to become a member of the collective. everything was set at $50 an eight and they had strains ranging from cheese, champagne, to dark star and violet kush.i tried the violet kush - nice strain, nice price. good selection of edibles. $10 raspberry bar was the best.

I like this place. I've gotten some quality product on both my visits here. I'm a big fan of those 2 gram pre-rolled deals too.  I'm not down with the $10 price tag but my laziness overrides that.  Cool staff, well organized and decent selection.   Cheese, Trainwreck, Sensi Star & Blue Dream!!  Pain free and sleeping like a baby!

Best location in SF for medicating with a cool and upbeat staff. Various edibles from peanut butter to chocolate bars and a very freindly atmosphere. Gotta love that VAPOR!!!!!

Honestly,I think a lot of the people leaving comments on here must be really rude or demanding, cause the staff of the VRx has been very friendly to me and their medicine is of the highest quality.  When I first went inside, they cheerily explained that theirs was a cooperative dispensary and that they would require some information to confirm my status as a patient.  Whatever.  The state, the feds and my family all know I am a cannabis patient, so why hide it from my dispensary?   Maybe someone else will put a different perspective on this, but I think signing up for the state card, (which I haven't yet done) is a lot more detrimental to your privacy than giving the nice people at the Vapor Room your address.  My only criticism is that I personally don't like to vaporize very much, but I think it's thoughtful and socially responsible to provide those handsome, green vaporizers for patients with respiratory issues.  Also, I have never seen any 1/8ths for more than $50 although I have seen slightly less expensive strains offered from time to time.  They are going to start charging tax soon, as per the law, and I think that's a good thing.  I recommend visiting this place, as it is the dispensary with the most relaxing chill room  and the best selection in the city.

Its cool because its like hanging out in a friends garage.  A CMT comes in occasionally to give massages.  Not the best selection of buds but not bad.

This place is only cool because you can burn inside. Their selection is generally pretty good, a little overpriced however.  Some of the workers are not very friendly toward me though which bums me out

This is the best dispensary I've been to since getting my Req. The bud is great. The staff is always friendly. The atmosphere is great.

This place is awesome, and the only reason I have to ever go to the Haight. I've been on a few dates here :)

Good bud, smaller selection of Sativias than most clubs but the ones they have (and the indicas) are all great. They have volcano vaporizers on the 4 or 5 tables in the place and there is usually a game of dominos you can jump in. Tons of board games, a fish tank, and a tv (usually playing some sort of sports unfortunately). Good place to come with your other friends with their cards to come pass a little time

This place was pretty cool!!! I liked the tables and the overall decor. The volcanoes are also a nice touch! THe BT that helped me was pretty helpful and nice, and they take credit cards i think so that's pretty awesome too!! My only beef with the VR is they pre-weigh their bud which in retrospect isn't a huge deal but that's not really my thing!! also i wish they'd put their menu up on weedmaps or something of the like. otherwise, great prices and good location!! i'll probably go back soon!!

WOW, I NEVER had a massage like the one i had today at the vapor, Barbara is a genius and when i was done i felt like i was floating, all my pain was gone and i felt as if i was in a weightless enviornment.The Vapor room offers free (yes tip her... she is more than worth it) massage therepy for their customers on wednesdays from 2-5ish and thursday from i think ten am to 2pm. Go there and get some fire, vaporize and get a massage, im going to sleep good tonight!!!!!

I must say off bat, I haven't been here much. The first experience I had there was mediocre. I enjoyed using the vapes, but I got some harsh vibes by a few staff members. The door man was nice and so were the guys behind the counter. I didn't really see anything wrong with this place. Good reassuring environment.

wow, where do I begin.... First and foremost, Logan B. and Alexander W. represent a tiny minority of juvenile and uneducated "stoners" who can only relate to phat bong-hits and gett'n f*&#@d; they do not represent the mature, responsible and conscious population of patients who frequent this pleasant little medication oasis. I have been attending this clinic for over 5 years now and have seen them go through all sorts of trials and tribulations but they have NEVER sacrificed customer service or quality in their products. They have always been top-rated (see SF Weekly's past three years of "Best Cannabis Club" awards) and very professional/personable with their services and staff. I passed by this place just over 5 years ago as a Biz-Biz salesman and have never consistently gone anywhere else. I have been to SEVERAL other clubs and establishments in SF and the Bay Area and although a few of them are pretty close, NONE of them put out the education (IE. on different strains and what they do....EXACTLY), the personalities/smiles OR the consistently top-quality medication which include everything from tinctures, oils, keef or hash to cookies, candy, lollipops, tea and other foods! Most of the other clubs have bulletproof windows, a##&ole door guys and pretentious "I don't have time for you only your money" pot-tenders. Although, the VR does have some sarcastic and comical (yet genuine) cats at the door. Unlike what our "douchey" friend Logan B. says, the Coop aspect of the VR is a city ordinance now and the VR is NOT doing this to be cool, different or controlling. EVERY cannabis club in the city has to be a Coop and follow the rules. Although you do seem to exemplify the words 'entitlement' and 'self-centered' though. As for Alexander's remarks, the Green Cross and that place out on Ocean all have patients that go to the VR at the end of the day, or during the day; I see 5 from the Green Cross every time I go in close to closing. I'm sure you know who they are if you frequent the other places. As far as the "definitely all about business and not companionship" comment, that's COMPLETE B.S. I of all people can attest that although they have a heavy percentage of people that come in there from long ago, their new friends, previous vendors, etc., the Vapor Room employees are extremely personable and inviting. Even I (who can't really relate to most of them) have befriended several of the folks there and do activities with them outside of the club. However, your use of 'bubonic chronic' does show your maturity level (on this subject) and your personal reasoning for medication. Ladies and gentlemen, this is a dispensary that happens to look like some Starbuck's in the Marina (filtered water for their clients, blah, blah, blah), happens to have a very personable and educational staff (unlike EVERY other spot in SF; I dare you to prove me (and the SF Weekly) wrong), happens to have a compassion program that surpasses any other in the city, happens to have a huge flat-screen TV., happens to have a TREMENDOUS selection (not only the smoke-able kind), and happens to have plenty of utensils (including 4-5 Volcanoes) and advice to use them properly. Get away from your local (illegal) dealer, get a proper cannabis card and get down to the VR where I can guarantee that you will not find a better service/products in the city.......guaranteed.

Numero UNO... Best meds!, Best selection!, Consistent as shit in prices! Best continuity in upkeep of style and decor of the place (sneakers! very flavorful! but  not for me also, books, T's, and everything else you can imagine). This place is the top place in san fran. PERIOD. They might be short cuz they are busy most of the time or ur breath stinks or MAYBE theirs does..Who cares. I've never seen em disrespect any patient. They answer all and any preguntas tienes. BEAUTIFUL meds!

One of my favorite San Francisco dispensaries, would have given them 5 stars if the door man wasn't such an asshole.  Selection is top notch, they sell all medication in flat rates starting at $5 for .3G which is good for those who are on a budget and still would like to sample different strains.  My favorite thing about the vapor room is that you can consume your medicine in the dispensary through a variety of supplied pieces including valcano vaporizors and are welcome to stay for up to 2 hours instead of being rushed out like other dispensaries.

The fact that it's in my neighborhood makes me like it more. But, I would drive across town to go here if I had to. High quality product, chill employees and a funky 70's basement decor. It fits me like a glove, but then again - I'm a stoner that lives in the Lower Haight.

The vapor room is one of my favorite dispensaries period!  The Staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable and they always have fair prices.  The Lounge is a safe and convenient place to medicate and is probably the best in the city.  I  look forward to seeing the staff whenever I visit.  Thanks for making me proud to be an mmp cuz lord knows there are those who don't understand the meaning of compassionate care.#mc884

I visited the vapor room with my girlfriend this Saturday. We had a great experience there. The staff that helped us was awesome. There was alot of stuff to chose from and the prices were good. I like this club the most!

Vapor Room is my favorite place to go hang out. I too liked the old set up much better, it made you feel a little more "at home". The medication is good but youre not allowed to smell the buds prior to purchasing. Their hash is also very good but VERY pricey, some of the priciest I have seen in SF. By far the best place to hang out for a while and medicate if you're not from the city. You have to check out the sausage house down the street (if youre leaving VR make a right its before Walgreens). Also I love the massues that they bring in for their guests (wed and thurs afternoons I believe), the best part about this service is it is free of charge.

Used to hit this place up all the time when i was in the bay area.  The staff is friendly and area is safe and they have killer buds! Of all the times i've been there I have never been disappointed with their services or quality of medicine.

Average club, if i lived in the area i would see why its a great place.  But for the patients that drive into the city, I would go else where.  You can medicate in the club which is very cool and probably why its called VAPOR ROOM ahaha.  Small selection compared to the downtown clubs but awesome environment.  Its really hard to find parking since it is in lower haight but if I were to live in that area, its all I need.  O The do have a nice display of edibles, big jar of shake for cheap which is nice to see, and at the time i believe there was 10 strains? could be less but i forget.  Also its cash only so don't bring plastic.

when i had a card, this was the only place i would go, which is saying a lot because i was living in OCEAN VIEW or whatever.the people were super nice, the lounge is super cozy, the dank is super dank.they have the BEST selection in town, and really decent regular shit, all sorts of things you could ever want.out of all the clubs i went to this was the one that felt the safest and most respectable. sure the door guy is scary as shit, but that is when you are outside, as he should be, but he is one cool ass guy once he knows you are legit.loved being there, loved smoking there, i just wish they could take notes like some places in town instead of needing the card, but i understand their drive to be 100% on the up and up.dont go anywhere else if you can avoid it.most places have 50$ 1/8ths but you are getting shit for it, where here you get what you pay for.

people are super friendly, the pot is killer, they have wide selections in both strains and edibles, chill atmosphere with good music to pull some rips in... a very happy place :)

there is a reason why i have been coming here for years. i used to commute from Palo Alto, but now am fortunate for a short walk.  my favorite club in the city, by far. i agree about the staff's friendliness. i have been coming here consistently for about 4 years and not one employee knows my name. card recently expired, but when i renew, this will be the place i will go.

This place is worth a visit, especially with friends because they have seating with complimentary vaporizers. The Vapor Room is really striving for a nicer image. They are constantly renovation (when I went the other day they were even replacing the overhead sign with an expensive handmade wooden one).As for the weed, there is a decent selection of prepackaged bud, you only buy as little as a gram. They also have edibles and hash but not an out of the ordinary selection. I bought 'Blue Dream' and it's been great (write me if you get it and love it too).  This place is hybrid dominant so take that into account if you need or want sativa or indica only.I would go as far as to call this place a cafe. It seems like a yuppie/hipster cafe for smoking. No negative connotations implied with the words yuppie and hipster, I'm just trying to paint an accurate picture. It's a little trendy here; it's less laid back but has more of a 'coffee shop' feel.Very crowded at times, but if you can find a gap in the crowds, grab a table and hang out. Also a great location for munchies, the Lower Haight has a lot of cheap and tasty food.

This place has remodeled and no some of the uneducated stoners are not gone,thank god.I know they try to let everyone be welcome,even assholes like wanna-be surfer steve.I trip on the clients they are all types and they rock.The medicine is alright but the concentrates a bit high.NO MORE BLUNTS YEAH! That is truly a ghetto way of smoking.The more the ghetto leaves the place the better.The music is mixed and should once again not succomb to GHETTO.The color of GHETTO is not just black it unfortunately is a multi-race problem,so there I am not a bigot I'm just not blind and my nose knows when a blunt smells like SHIT,brother let me tell you they stink.I also know when music is demeaning to woman,ghetto-rap is and it is fowl mouthed also.I suppose Frank Zappa would have still loved them.He was a lot more tolerant than I am and alot more talented than ghetto rap,he was funny not demeaning to woman to much and he wrote BOBBY BROWN thats funny..Fowl mouths are nothing,who GIVES A FUCK.   PEACE

Vapor Room remains one of the top 3 clubs in SF. Chillaxed out location in SF, mellow vibes in the lounge, always very rare strains of medicinal flowers that are always changing (Starfruit, AK-GDP and Cheese Cough are a few examples of some of the healing strains that roll through there. They go quick so if you see something you like get it then because chances are later it will be gone.), hands down the best edible selection in SF and a really cool staff of friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate folks. I love this spot. It was my first vapor room, and I was so excited to join their co-op. I even got a free massgae compliments of the vapor room. They rock!Cant wait to see them again, later this month. I am in LA, but I now have a spot when I am up in San Fran. C u guys soon  ;)

This place is awesome. Conveniently located right on Haight Street in lower Haight, this place doesn't freak me out to go to like some other shops around the city do. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Now on the the good stuff:The medicine is out-of-this-world! They have the best selection in the entire city. Not just buds, either. They also have edibles, hash, kief, loose joints, oils, and more. The prices are also just right. I wouldn't waste my time being a member anywhere else. This is awesome. DEHB7

Koo staff and all and I like the fact that I can vaporize in there but I typically don't like pre packaged weed and when I went the selection didn't wow me.  maybe its different now? who knows but overall its koo spot

The Vapor Room is by far one of my favorite clubs in the city and I have visited most of them and it still is up there. It was one of the first clubs I joined and it has continued to be one of my favorites. I love that you can not only vaporize but also smoke in the lounge (they offer bongs and papers). i'm a cardholder who lives in san diego where there are no clubs -- and the clubs in l.a. are either 1) in dangerous neighborhoods, or 2) ridiculously over-priced.  most often it's 3) all of the above.  i was turned on to this place by a friend who lives nearby.vapor room is in a relatively chill neighborhood.  security is visible and efficient, so safety is not an issue.  the membership process was quick and informative -- but most importantly, they made me feel welcome.  not just the "they" that works there, but also the regulars that were lounging inside.  it was as though they were welcoming a new member of the family, so to speak.when i was there, they only had four strains of herb to choose from -- but they were 2 solid indicas, and 2 solid sativas.  the hash variety was more impressive, with several options available -- both pressed and pre-pressed.  they also had a great selection of edibles to fit all price ranges.  what made the experience close to perfect was the straight-forward and reasonable pricing -- there is no suffering through the so-cal standard club mark-up here.the only shame is that i don't live in s.f., so it may be months before i have the opportunity to shop here again -- but i definitely will.

I would just like to say, that I have been going to VR for a couple of months now, and I have never once had any of the staff treat me poorly, or rude. The VR will probably be one of the cleanest, and most relaxing atmospheres, out of the all the many clubs I have been to. Their strains are always good, I have yet to find another club that has the quality and consistency that VR has. If you thought the strain was bad before, somewhere else? Try it again at VR, and you will most likely get a better experience. I am always looking or another favorite club, but Vapor Room is my number 1. I have a hard time believing the door guys are rude, certainly the most common complaint I hear about ANY club is their door guys. I am certain the VR is not different than any other club trying to protect itself from letting the wrong people in, and not wanting legal problems. Quality product and a huge selection of varieties and delivery methods. The smoking lounge seems like a fun place to hang out. I'll definitely be going back. The only reason I'm not giving them five stars is because the guy behind the counter seemed to be trying to be intimidating instead of friendly and helpful. However, the other budtender seemed to be very nice and personable, so maybe I just caught a guy on a bad day.

Alright!  So, I posted previously to review this sham of a business...They paid to have it removed though. So, Here goes again...  I won't give my lengthy back-story this time. These people are SORRY DRUG DEALERS!  I have been in the medical marijuana community for over 10 years, and have dealt with many clubs and people over that time. The Vapor Room at one time, was an establishment that patients could go to get medicine, and be treated with dignity. NO MORE!  These callous thieves sell HERMAPHRODITE WEED!  Their "medicine"is full of tiny, undeveloped seeds, that can make you ill, and negate the positive effects of the marijuana.  They are thieves and liars, and when they were informed of this issue, they denied it, and tried to belittle me. Bottom line is this: These people operate a business under the guise of "compasionate care", when in reality they are just there to make as much money as possible,  patients be DAMNED!  If you need marijuana to survive and lead a semi-normal life, DO NOT TRUST THESE CROOKS TO TAKE CARE OF YOU!   They will leave you dying in the dust...

I checked out this place today and I think I just found my new favorite club!!! The atmosphere is so chill and laid back you would think your in a lounge. Everyone was super nice and inviting and there prices are very reasonable compared to the other clubs I have been to.  They had about 7 different strains of which none I had never heard of before but they all looked and smelled great. So after looking and smelling for several minutes I decided to pick up a gram of the Caboose for $15. It was a great investment!!! It had a real pungent smell to it and this bud was really dense and sticky. I put some in the complimentary vaporizers that they have on-site and all I can say is that I am currently looking to purchase one of these amazing things!!! The Vapor Room is Awsome!!!

Good folks. Been around for a while very knowledgeable about their product. A very early SF establishment forced to reestablish in 2018 due to cannabis laws.And a great truly local business to support.

This shop packs some amazing products in a small space. They have a very knowledgeable staff and keep up with some of the coolest and most current cannabis products. The owner has been in the game long before the vast majority of the California cannabis shops. He's been through It all, and you should really consider making this your local shop because you're supporting true SF roots in cannabis. Vapor Room is an OG in cannabis.

Lovely spot. The staff is friendly and chill. I went back to return a pack of unopened gummies and for some reason their system wasn't allowing the return. They still gave me credit for it and asked me to keep pack of gummies!! I will be giving it to a friend (once this pandemic is over) .They sell vegan gummies too! Too bad they were sold out. I'll definitely be going back for those.

This spot is dope!! I love all the skeezees "scales" they have all around the buisness, it's really clean and open and well lighted to peep around, the folks that work here are very helpful and friendly. We come here for our dog mochas cbd, and of course what ever best indica or hybrid eighth they have, well recommended place to get your meds

One of my go to places if I ever need a vape cartridge. I wondered what's the difference between the brands of vape cartridges they have available and lady behind the counter took her time to explain the differences like flavor versus strength.

Tried their online delivery to get some flower and edibles,and it went really smooth. Delivery person was nice and so convenient to pay with debit. Plus strong stuff! lol I'm feelin it as I type this. I'll have to visit them now since they're not too far actually. great delivery though.

This is my first time here at Vapor room and it's a very nice place the atmosphere is very pleasant the only reason I came down here is that they had the vape pen I needed and I live in Oakland so I came all the way over here...its the only place that had it the staff is very friendly and helpful I highly recommend the Vapor room come check it out TWO THUMBS UP!

TL;DR - awesome experience, follow them on IG to know about promotions and in store demos. Normally I don't write reviews for dispensaries because most of my experiences have been the same (bad, but Vapor Room was a good experience and Carson was my guy! I decided to go to Vapor Room even though it's out of the way for me because they carry Chemistry and Leune, plus a few other brands too. And honestly, the experience was quite good so I'll probably come back for other goods too. Another brand that is hard to get a hold of is Potli and they have the gambit here. Carson was really helpful, even though they didn't have the specific items I wanted. He made good recommendations, both of which I bought  - OM elixir and Chemistry's Electric Jah, because they had recently won the Emerald Cup awards. They offer promos like 15% elixirs on Tuesdays, in store events, and other things.

Great prices, selection, and friendly staff.Current hours are temporary, 12-8 pm.Huge online selection but not sure about WM i.e other apps.I go in person. The room is small but loaded, and sometimes there is a slight wait out-front. Be aware of your surroundings.  Also, always specials (discounted/due to exp date) There is parking (yellow - 5-10 mins, white-pay for longer) Bike lane/heavy traffic.

I love this place! The staff is really friendly and willing to take the time to explain things without being pretentious. Their selection is always great and they seem to curate the coolest cannabis products from small businesses that are not well known. I recently tried their delivery service and it was convenient and quick! Vapor Room is my favorite dispensary and I recommend it highly!
