Its really sad Sparc thinks they can call this place the "Loveshack". This is no where near what the LOVESHACK was and stood for. I became a patient on the LOVESHACK in 2007 and fell in love. Not only was the medicine far superior but the people within are what made the LOVESHACK what it was. There was once this magic about this place that brought smiles and good times to people. Now its as cookie cutter as it'll ever be. Overpriced product so a big company can make quick money. At the same time stealing the name of a reputable and once loved dispensary. Just like any HOSTILE COOPERATE TAKEOVER Sparc bought up and tossed out anyone connected to the LOVESHACK so they could put more money into their pockets with bare minimum wages. Just because you think Sparc youve boughten the name doesnt mean you will ever hold the same clout LOVESHACK did. I recommend unless you like supporting the big steal your heart and soul companies leave this sparc off your list of places to visit. You wont be impressed i guarantee it.
First time at the new Love Shack and I noticed a clean well layed out shop along with a bunch of positive faces. I really appreciate good customer service/energy and good environment. My new main spot!
Wow SPARC adopted the historic Love Shack?! This place is OG and I love that it has been given a new life. SPARC is known for their clean aesthetics and top shelf products and this location is no exception. Although small in comparison to their other dispensaries, I still get the same quality consultive bud tenders. Their selection seems to be the best of what they carry at their other larger locations as well. Same top notch customer service and professionalism you can expect from a SPARC establishment, which I appreciate because I can't stand the ones like Green Door.
Sorry to tell you folks, this is a Spark location, this is not the Love Shack! The Love Shack was filled with tons of positive vibes and good energy and patients actually came to the Love Shack because they trusted the knowledge of the staff. Love Shack was a GEM in its own right because it was not a cookie-cutter club like the rest of the cannabis clubs out there and because it was ran by genuine people who actually genuinely cared about their patients. I've already seen some of the reviews and I'm sorry to say but the Love Shack is gone! You will only see new faces who know absolutely nothing about the cannabis industry supporting them, any of the old faces you will not see coming back! I guarantee you they know exactly what they had and the old patients know exactly what they have lost, and that was a diamond in the rough! This is now just like any other retail dispensary that could give two shits less about Quality of cannabis or quality of service. You can smile all you want to try to throw up fake heart-shaped symbols with your hands, but it will never compare to the feel and the vibes that were first brought in by the old Live Shack. Sorry to be so negative but the cannabis industry has literally ruined one of the GEMS and the glue of the cannabis industry! You should really just change your name to Spark and not try to live off of the legacy of the Love Shack name that you guys had nothing to do with whatsoever! I don't really care if you're working with the with the old owner! The fact of the matter is is that you will never be able to replace greatness and that's exactly what that place was, GREAT! Now they'll be lucky if they're even subpar, but like I said only new faces that go on there that have absolutely no idea about what a cannabis club should be like are going to support that, I guarantee you. So sad to see how many of those great employees were displaced and put out of work just so someone else can make a cheap buck! I have been a patient with Love Shack for over 12 years and I'm so proud to say I was part of that history and I will have no part in making new history that is for sure! So so sad!
In town for only a couple days, stop by for something small. The girls working were really friendly and helpful, they weren't pushy trying to sell you everything, they knew what they were talking about. And what they recommend was exactly what I wanted. The shop is chill , comfortable. Easy to find. And herbs were Fresh and good quality. Only spent $20 got a great deal. Next time I'm in town I'll definitely shop here before checking out other spots.
The Loveshack officially died on 5/12/18 @ 9pm... when the real staff shut their doors for the last time at 14th & Guerrero. The Montana family, Tom, Yzer, Hopper, Nicky, Andrew, Drew, Nash, Joe, Jaime, Ray, Big Chris, and a few others ARE the Loveshack and they always will be. The staff was 50% of what made the original Loveshack special. The other half was FRESH weed, grown by very skilled growers. These growers are no longer in business because they don't produce enough MJ to pay the exorbitant LAB costs. People are now buying 30-day old fruit (lab tested weed). Your current options are welcome to Marlboro country or grow your own herb. Most products of the original Loveshack are no longer available since legalization. 180mg THC Kiva bars for $20 no longer exist. Trichome Productions (the maker of the killer shatter sold by the old 'Shack) is now impossible to find in the Bay Area (90%+ THC). Their primary source of edibles, Butter Brothers, is no longer around. They were good AND affordable. In addition, the Butter Brothers delivery guy would always had out free edibles (not small samples, the actual products) to all of the patients inside the Loveshack. That is just one little thing of many that made the original Loveshack unique.Shame on you SPARC for BUYING the trademarks and the name of the closed dispensary that so many San Franciscans (and others) hold dear to their hearts. SPARC is hiding behind a valuable brand, and they are only fooling Millennials and dumbasses. The Loveshack will live on through their patients' many happy memories and also through the sense of community their staff generated among their patients. That WAS the Loveshack. The End.
I have been completely taken care of at Haight and SOMA before, and I have never had an order fail due to an inventory error on the website. Even thought the error was on the part of the business, the manager (Selena I believe) refused to offer a similar product (a preroll for $9 instead of the 3 grams for $10). I even received the confirmation, and transferred buses to go to the location, specifically because they had this item. I am disappointed in this experience- in my experience, if the error is on the part of the dispensary, and it causes 45 minutes of trying to contact the business/moving throughout the city, typically they're understanding and can make a one-time exception for a similar product at the same price. Will not be returning to this location, because I don't trust it from this experience now. It's sad, i was excited to visit for the first time here.
Went to Loveshack for years and glad to see SPARC has reopenedthe old location. have gone to Sparc's Haight shop and really feelcomfortable, good prices and selection they carry Hash and have in stock3-4 types water/ice/rosin. This place is my hashish HQ. I smoke as much hash as I did in Europe thanks to Sparc. Never did find out why loveshack closed in the first place but think the location is in good hands. Say hi to Derick in security, he's an awesome guy. Just got back from theshack with a couple of reefers of Red Congo. See ya/ turning on tuning out -Peace
Meh, no reason to come here and bad customer service. Every other dispensary in the area does something better and Love Shack offers nothing other than location. Other places are cheaper, have better selection, better quality, or are just better in general. If you are close and lazy then it is fine but you will have a better experience going someplace else. You get two texts when you place an order, "we got your order" and "pick up the order". One time, I got the "pick up" email but they were closed for employee break when I got there. They should have breaks but a two person store means they close down and the text could have said, "pick up after 2:30"Another time, got the order email but after 2 hours nothing about picking it up. Other SPARC locations are on the ball so I think it is just this location.
Nice folk. Got what I needed without the pretense. Happy customer, will come back soon. The selection of cbd was good
Friendly staff, decent selection, decent prices. It's a small shop, so they won't have the inventory of a dispensary 10x their size, but they've got good stuff and always have what I need. Happy to support an ethical local dispensary.
Hours on the store say 10-10 not 10-6. I ordered some prerolls for pickup. I walked over to pick them up, the store was closed! I used their chat system to inquire whether the order was still available. I never got a reply so around noon I drove over to see if they still had my order. I was told all orders are put back on the shelf for sale if not picked up. An hour and a half wasted by the fact they are using bots to run there business. I won't be back any time soon!you lose when dealing with computers!
I stopped by the Love Shack the other day and was pleasantly surprised. Being a smaller store I thought they wouldn't carry all my goodies but they had everything I was looking for and more . Michael and Austin were great! They were friendly helpful and know their products! I love this location. It's easy to get to, and the staff is awesome. I'll be back.
