Max had what I needed within seconds of telling him what I was looking for. Their service has always been consistently good and the inside is pristine and well-organized.

I come here about twice a month and my main man Gerardo is normally there and always has good recommendations. The ice cream cake you suggested last time was banging! The security staff at the front door and check in staff are always friendly and welcoming. I will come down again tonight! Glad you are back open to 9pm.

Will be back fo sure! If you have never been here, on your first visit they give you a promo of $1 edibles and a gift basket with a lighter and skittles. Everyone is very friendly here, though the selection is limited. They also have their own lot if you're worried about parking.

After 15 years of  90% loyalty I visited another SF dispensary yesterday, and have reconsidered my recently shared opinion about the Green Cross. I wasn't pleased by my last visit, but overall my experience has been good or better for many years. The staff is always professional and friendly.Everyone has a bad day~

Friendly & professional.  Steven in particular always provides excellent customer service, to the degree that even after leaving The City, I make the drive from the east bay without hesitation.

I moved to the East Bay and haven't hit green cross up in a fat minute! Staff is always super welcoming and accommodating. Prices are still great! Plus they still honor the 10% discount for referrals, so tell ya friends! Steve is a GEM!  your really made me miss this dispensary lol! thank you again for your help :D

I love this neighborhood cannabis store.  The staff is super nice, friendly,  professional and welcoming.  It's one thing to tell your employees to give good service, but another thing to have them really buy on to it.  I'm in their system so they always remember what I bought previously, which sometimes I don't. They seem to have specials on certain products which I enjoy taking advantage of.  Oh, and the parking is easy which is a plus in San Francisco.  There's usually a spot to pull up at right out in front.  It's the only cannabis store I go to.

Cristian was great! Enjoyed learning about how green cross is technically an art gallery because it has so many Dr. Seuss art installations. Also, the by far the easiest and most professional check in for a dispensary in all of the Bay Area! Wished all other dispensary door greeters wore black formal attire!! Green Cross has my business for life!

I really do enjoy going out of my way to stop at this dispensary.  There selection is amazing but what truly makes it special is there service!   I can't say enough kind words about STEVE.   He is kind, helpful, and treats you with his friendly personality that truly makes it a joy.  Thanks Steve and green cross.

Have been a long time shopper here. The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Visited today and Maximo was my bud tender. He's helped he several times and he's awesome. Very relaxed, happy and helpful.Great product...I personally love Bloom products which they carry and have a good assortment. Great staff, product and prices. I've been coming here for years! Today is the last day I'm supporting this establishment prices has gone up dramatically and the excuse is probably Covid. They're the highest prices in sf so there's no excuse for me to support this place! I don't recommend this place because of the high  prices you can find better prices elsewhere I guarantee it!

I was just at The Green Cross last week . I love this place I always get consistent top notch product & service from the staff. Immanuel my bud tender for the day was great!! It wasn't busy so I took my time and picked out several different types of indica dominate until I reach my daly limit of a ounce. I really liked Weeding Cake by Farmer and The Felon cannabis co. and the Once is Enough by Amplified farms was very strong and tasty. Immanuel was very helpful with all the questions I had and very knowledgeable of the strains. I picked up some of my favorite Edibles like dark & milk chocolate peanut butter cups  made by: Incredimeds.  I love their flowers and edibles great price! The parking across the street in the corner parking lot makes my visit easy. I highly recommend The Green Cross !!!!

This place is AMAZING. It's like Disneyland it's so fun. As a new customer we got a goodie bag!! We were helped by a rockstar named Steve that was really fun to chat with and he had an answer to any question we had. He seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. Awesome atmosphere & bomb product. 100% GO!!!!! You won't regret it!!!

Was just introduced to this diamond in the rough. The staff is pleasant and covid compliant. They have an amazing selection of flowers and a variety of price ranges for all. They even sell flowers by the half ounce at 20% off. Steve was the best budtender! Very knowledgeable and helpful. They made me a customer for life! Look forward to seeing you all soon!

420 is the day that keeps on giving at the green cross. Yesterday I won a $100 credit from the raffle and got some amazing flower which came with a $1 preroll. Also discovered the cool pins at the bottom of my door prizes stash from 4/20/21. Budtender Kevin was super helpful and got me the best herb for my money. Always a great visit!

Have to change my review due to an unfortunate encounter just now. After dropping around $300 and being given the wrong item we requested, the manager said he was unable to get us the item we had requested. No discount or credit offered, just an "I'm sorry" big time bummer from a favorite store of mine. And I work for some of the companies on their shelf. Shame.

My husband and I recently visited the Green Cross and we had a great experience. We were assisted by Carlos and he had great knowledge on every product. He heard me out and recommended an indica coffee caramel chocolate bar. It helped me relax and had the best sleep I have had in a while. Also the flavor was amazing! We are definitely coming back again.

First off the Customer Service from Security, Front Desk and Sales associates are Immaculate! I have been coming here a couple times and experience this from entrance to exit! The variety and option are also updating so each visit the associates imtroduce you to new products. Great job guys!

By far the best cannabis dispensary in San Francisco. I have been coming to The Green Cross since they first opened. I love that they carry a variety of products from edibles to high quality flower. They never disappoint! Not only do they carry amazing products, but they also offer amazing customer service. Anytime I have an issue with an item, The Green Cross is always very accommodating and rectifies the issue. I also want to thank all of the staff who make my visits memorable!

Hi green cross, what kind of pre roll was this?  spent $16 to have this square thing come out of the bag, no filter, no taper. Waste of money!!!!

We've always have had a very good experience shopping at GreenCross. Except today. The person helping us was not exactly courteous and patient. My friend and I shopped separately but the same person helped us both. Upon leaving I asked my friend if she felt the person helping us was a bit rude and condescending- as if we were stupid. She said yes. Granted we are not very knowledgeable about the products as we thought they would help us learn more about the products offered. Every time we have been prior the associates have been super helpful, patient and courteous. But this person was as I said condescending and impatient as if we're wasting their time. We left feeling like we need to look elsewhere for better customer service.

I don't normally leave reviews, but today I want to thank Will from the Green Cross. I accidentally dropped a $20 on my way out of the dispensary and Will notified me via text. The dispensary ended up crediting my profile to save me the trip of having to drive back. (: Thank you Will for your help. This is the best dispensary in the Bay Area. The bud tenders are professional, knowledgeable, and always go above and beyond for the patient. Stay safe.

I can't say enough great things about this place!A great store, great staff, and great addition to the community here in The Excelsior. They patrol the block for safety, put out crosswalk markers for pedestrians, and help clean up the streets. Walking into the store it literally like walking into a candy store - very colorful, lots to choose from, and always leave happy. Thank you Green Cross

So the other day was the 1st time I've been there in a long time.  I was going to pick up a few single dose gummies and Alex informed me that they will no longer be sold individually and they are 50% off. That actually blew my mind because he went out of his way to do so and I went from wanting to spend like $15 and walked out with a $50 order!!!! Going to try to keep this short and to the point.I was looking to grab some quality bud for my girlfriend and I while we were in the city so I found this local gem. Everything about it was great. I was greeted by a young man named Vincent who was able to direct me towards the exact type of bud I was looking for which was a high in quality sativa strain. I'm personally not too into buying my weed from dispensaries but this place might've just changed that. I'll definitely be returning in no time!! Great stuff all around Green Cross!

Staff at Green Cross are so friendly and knowledgeable. I love how everyone is wearing a mask, their very careful as to how many people come in at once. And they have several clean air machines in the store which is a big plus with the COVID 19 virus going on. Saw Gus today, who is always very nice and knows his stuff. Actually one of my favorite people there. I've been to several dispensaries in SF, and Green Cross is my fav.

11 out of 10. Besides the great product, the customer service is A1. From recommendations to personal experiences, they're an all-around store. I was greeted and tended to by Kevin, who was thee most helpful. He recommended a hand full of options. The cherry on the top are the deals they have weekly. Most def, first dispensary I go to.

The Green Cross is great! TGC is my goto dispensary; it's clean, good selection of products and the staff is awesome, security, greeters, bud tenders, everyone is nice and respectful. My last bud tender Kim was nice and knowledgeable.

I came here with my companion to pick up. We had to become a member first which was different for us. But the process only took 3 minutes. They give you a number and you wait until your number is announced. The staff is very professional and takes care of one customer at a time. They gift you with a welcome goodie bag with rolling papers, stickers,lighters, and a members handbook. The only thing that I would say is that I wish they had more Indica options and more prerolled options.

I've been coming here for years. Staff is always the best. Online ordering for pickup now makes things super easy.

I live in the Eastbay and the weekly deals, quality of cannabis and professionalism is superb. One of the best dispensaries in the Bay. Top 5 in SF

It's super tiny; there are two very small rooms connected by a door manned by security. FOH, as it were, is polite when welcoming one in for the first time. BOH is behind a bar spanning the length of the second room. There's an ATM at the back wall. For those of us who didn't realize that the place was 'cash only', this was a welcome sight. The space is very dimly lit (like an actual bar) and one cannot readily make out the goods behind the counter. There's a roving security car attached to the biz that circles the block most days. Perhaps it's meant to act as some sort of deterrent to those who wish to smoke their purchase in directly in the vicinity. Although a ton of busses get you to within a block or so of the shop: 52, 44, 49, 14/14R, many folk drive to Green Cross. Parking is notoriously bad in the area, so double parking along Mission is not uncommon. Dodging parked cars while driving this stretch of the road is a pain for motorists, but it's the status quo, unfortunately.Unlike Simon G., I did not receive a goodie bag upon my first visit, but that's okay. I wasn't too stoked on their tincture selection anyway, and have since moved on to shopping at that massive pot shop on Market St. Both shops cost a pretty penny, but the Apothecarium on Market is at least spacious and well-lit, no pun intended.

Finally got a chance to visit this place and I was actually impressed with the variety of strains and edibles they stock. The prices are a little steep because the state taxes them hella. Ample parking, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I will be coming back here.

The Green Cross is my go to dispensary for my cannabis needs.   The staff is welcoming and very professional.   The dispensary offers a wide variety of cannabis products at very competitive prices.   The quality of their flowers is outstanding.   I easily can give them my highest possible recommendation.

I really like Green Cross' setup and display of their items and parking was easy right in front. They also have air purifiers everywhere which is great for Covid. Be prepared, because they have a huge menu (on display screens) and everything honestly looks good so it was hard to decide what I wanted. Thankfully I had this guy Kevin who was patient with me and directed me into what I really needed for my preferences. He was super friendly and helpful with recommendations from beginning to end. Staff up front were super friendly too! I highly recommend Green Cross it's going to be my go to dispensary everytime I visit SF

Within 30 seconds of entering, Christian identified the one product that fit my very specific desires - including price. Friendly, professional service here. This is My go to cannabis club! I love the green cross. Everyone here is so chill they love to help you find whatever you're looking for.  If your a first time customer you get a welcome bag with treats. Agro Energy! Last week decided to come for medical purposes. The receptionist had a VERY unwelcoming vibes and RUDE.I saw two customers get mistreated over parking. One lady was completely kind but mistreated. The door guy said something very unsettling about this young woman. It felt very sexist! and uncalled for and odd in a place that is supposed to help with healing! Yikes. The owner needs to work on this first impression. It seems women are treated differently by this gal at the front. They need to work on this. However, the gentleman at the counter and ONE of the security guards were polite and helpful. They felt bad over this brunette haired receptionist's poor attitude. Understand some people have BAD days but by other reviews- our experience with rude behavior is not isolated.Unless they can treat all genders equal will not return. One man of color said the same. Will not return... many others in SF that are very kind to all people.

Steve is the homie. Bought some edibles and tree today. They were kind and professional as usual. The 25$ eighth was impressive in quality. Also a fan of the humidity packet they give you with the flower. And 9$ edibles are hard to beat. Thanks Steve.

I loved how nice and efficient Kathryn was! It was my boyfriends first time there and she broke down where everything was located and was very informative! I love this place, their prices can't really be beat! Even though it's a mad house a lot of the time (lots of customers says something!) it's worth every second of your time to come here. From flowers to edibles to gear, everything here is awesome. Let me touch base on their pre-rolls though! Best pre rolls I've ever had... the don't do the cones, they don't do the filters... just good old joints man! And they're all individually hand rolled, quality cannabis 1 gram joints (no shake or seeds here people!) sativa or indica, whatever your cup of tea is, they have it. And talk about attention to detail... every single one of their pre rolls is a replica of the other, and they burn amazing. Speaking of amazing, try their Incredimeds edibles... preferably their peanut butter cups! Pb cups are my all time favorite candy, well one of them at least (I do love whatchamacallits but those aren't medicated) and the pb cups by Incredimeds are just out of this world good. They're all dosed super evenly and you can control the amount you consume by just keeping track of how many you eat. Actually their whole line of edibles is amazing, they taste so clean compared to other edibles I've purchased from other collectives, no dankiness to them and they all get the job done... but the pb cups take the cake in my opinion! The decor in the collective is pretty cool too! They have all kinds of trippy Dr. Seuss art hanging on the walls and the way everything is lit up inside is really crisp and classy looking. You can even grab a cup of joe (non medicated lol) while you wait for your number to be called. If you're out in the city, stop by and check them out. You won't be disappointed! Now... off to get my prerolls and enjoy this beautiful 59 degree San Francisco summer day!

The Green Cross reviewStaffed by inexperienced young giggling boys that twice put the wrong product in my bag. They look dopey. And it interferes with their ability to do their job correctly. In addition they double charged me on one item. and no relief all sales are final. Once they were San Francisco's premier dispensary. haha to my exit.

I live In Sonoma and although we have plenty of pot dispensaries in Sonoma County, the THC levels  can't compare with Green Cross's, so I don't mind the drive to San FranciscoAlso this is pandemic season and I'm just a taste crippled, so when I pulled up today and parked across the street in their lot, I noticed a long line. The security guy saw me eyeballing the line and motioned for me to go into the club. Now I am sorry about cutting in front of everyone else, but I can't stand and appreciate this type of treatment. This place has excellent quality medicine and the nicest staff on the planet.

Friendly and very hospitable experience from the entrance to the exit. I took my 70 year old grandma who has some nerve pain issue and also very hesitant to visit to  dispensary. Today was my very first visit to TGC, and I was greeted by a hostess who had me sign in on a tablet and given a number to be called out when it would be my turn to speak with a bartender. Cash only - ATM at the back of the establishment (charged me less than 2 dollars for my transaction). When a gentleman announced "92", I strolled up to the counter met Vincent, and he made very helpful suggestions for edibles-only request.  I wanted to tip him, but he informed me that's not how TGC rolls, so here I am filling up this tiny square with positive words. Vincent, I appreciate the care you took in guiding my selections, answering my questions, and making my TGC experience the first of many to come...thankfully I live oh so close to this source of therapy.

My experience here is always great. Good selection and nice staff.I recently had a good experience with Max he was super help and very patient. I was buying a lot and he never once showed any impatience or annoyance. Super nice guy who knows a lot about the products. Would recommend!

Hi . I tried to buy weed from this weed club and I had a terrible experience. I open the jar they gave me and the weed was bone dry . I even tried to put it in my weed pipe and it basically disintegrated . I've never bought such low quality weed before in my life especially for $25. I called the store and they told me they would give me a $10 discount on my next purchase because there are no returns on products , so I go there the next day to try and redeem the offer only to be told that the discount does not exist and they'll only give me %10 because "$10 is a lot for a discount if you spent $25" I'm never coming here again. Yes I know I should have known better but I do now ...

Steve, as always, was on his game. I wasn't feeling well, yet he recommended the "needed" medication and I was out of TGC in a flash.

The staff is always friendly and helpful and they always have great reasonably priced product to chose from. The Green Cross is very professional and friendly. Since you can park across the street now at the closed service station access is very easy. Order on line and it will be ready when you arrive. Great, clean and safe place.

Nice and friendly staff.   Wide selection of product too.  However, what didn't sit well with me was that the person that helped me was a little shady.   My order came of to 97 dollars and some change.   I gave him $100... 5 twenties.   He gave me my change, just coins.   I was prepared to give him a tip, and had went back in to my wallet to grab a few more bucks.   But when I asked for my difference back, he took my receipt to show me "See, you only gave me $98, so here your change.   He must have been high.   I told him, "I gave you 5 twenties, not 4 twenties a ten, five, and three one's?!" Check your change and receipt before you leave!

This is my go to dispensary.  Good selection of product.  Sometimes they have decent sales on flowers.  Steve is the person you want to talk to.  He is very knowledgeable and always gets me the best of what I am looking for! HAPPY 4/20 San Francisco!! My first 4/20 & The Green Cross made it memorable with balloons, WONDERFUL SPECIALS, and FREE FOOD!! The staff is always helpful and have smiles on their faces! It was super PACKED but the line moved really fast. They had sandwiches, drinks, chips, donuts while you waited so who cares if I needed to wait to enter. Take your time while I enjoy these goodies!I purchased 2 of my favs... the fruity pebbles rice crispy treats.  They are normally $10 each but today they are $5 each AND I used my veterans discount so it was $9.77 out the door with a new bag for free! Keep up the good work!

This place rocks. Amazing service and knowledge every time I stop by. It's sometimes hard to find exactly what you need and trust that the person helping you knows their stuff. I've been patronizing this dispensary for quite sometime now. I've been to many others but the staff here is really friendly and knowledgeable especially Steve. He's been there awhile and his knowledge and customer service skills are the best. Always smiling and on top of all of the products. I've visited a lot of dispensaries and the Green Cross is by far the best.  Professional, but still friendly & personal.  The budtenders are all knowledgeable and helpful, I know I can always trust their recommendations. Steve deserves a special shoutout, he's terrific.

The best dispensary in SF!  And I've been 420ing since the -60s, so I've been to all of them.  The GC prices are quite competitive, and their various strains and potencies range from $14 to $40 for an eighth.Everyone there is quite helpful.   Steve is my favorite.Great selection, great prices, great service!  I heartily recommend.

Ok so then why does the receipt say that the bag is 9 cents. If that's so then I am getting the wrong amount back for my change. And to go farther than that I've been there way more than 10 times and gotten shorted a penny so that would cover me not having a dime every time. I'm also pretty sure you are making a pretty good profit on those very small paper bags for 9cents or 10cents? Which one is it? The grocery stores charge 10cents a bag for those large high quality bags... Not your sandwich bags!

I've been here one time, so this is purely based off first impressions. Pros: nice place, great first time gifts, quality productsCons: RUDE service, not very helpful, cash only, hard to find parking (but that's because it's on mission)The girl at the front desk was extremely polite, but the guy behind the counter inside was terrible. A place like this is supposed to at least try to help the customer. Service is everything to me, so despite the nice looks, I will not be coming back here. I would not recommend this place to a friend (unless they're already pretty knowledgeable).

​​The front of the house is always very friendly and informative to new visitors. Security​ is always smiling and is very polite, but getting a good sales associate is sometimes a gamble. ​A couple of times coming here I've had a handful of very helpful associates​, but a couple of​ times I got Daniel, and I was very disappointed. After asking a couple of questions, he gets annoyed, and he says anything to get you to buy the product and leave. It does feel like it's all about sell, sell, and sell and out the door you go. However when you do decide to come here, look for Christian. He's honest and doesn't say things ​to get you to buy it and go. ​And another reason for the one-star is because their variety of products have significantly declined. No more the extensive menu of edibles and flowers. ​Sad.

Best quality and options.  However I use this for medicinal purposes and since it became legal the prices have become really high. Just wish they would give a discount to medicinal users with the doctors note and card. Dispensaries used to care about their customers. Now it's only about money. (And yes I know there are new taxes but it is still feasible to help people with real medical conditions). I recommend the green cross as long as you have hundreds of dollars to spend each time.

I come here periodically for medicine and have been helped by pretty much everybody, but the budmaster that really sticks out for me and rises above is Max. He's so chill and knows the product well. I have been a member at the green cross for a while now. I was so sad about their delivery service being gone, but some of the drivers still work at (inside) the shop. I think staff are great and Gerardo has been so helpful! I bring in a list of items I usually research in advance and he is able to educate me better on what types of strains could be most helpful for my medical condition. I trust his cannabis knowledge and he is really supportive. I choose to come to the green cross for that knowledge versus just trying to make a dollar off of me. Idk if Brian is still there, but he's been helpful too! It's all about customer service and satisfaction. THANKS GREEN CROSS AND GERARDO! Ps. Please bring back the judges packs. ;0)

Steve continues to recommend winners for me.I've been seeing him for years and he is clearly a stellar budmaster.  No matter what budmaster is available to help me, I always wait for Steve.  He knows my situation and I don't even have to spend more than a few min.  I just say:  I want to sleep and I want to have fun.  So I leave with two cartridges.  Out the door fast.

Total newbie here. Went in to get something for a pulled back muscle. The staff here were super helpful and very friendly. Prices were affordable, from what I expected. But, again, I'm ignorant on this subject. I would highly recommend this place as they made me comfortable and answered all my newbie questions.

Good prices, but I was unable to find the right NYC -style sour diesel, safe but awkward Covid procedures, you take a number and wait out on the dragstrip. The vibe inside, the back uniforms and the art, was wrong for me.  Check it out.

I got Steve, one of the Budtenders he has been with them for aloooong time time now.  He is ALWAYS pleasant! Down to earth, Knows his buds! and makes me laugh! Keep hiring cool people like him!

This was our first experience at a dispensary, and unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant one. We (my fiancé and I) were told to line up outside, no problem at all, the guy out front was rather friendly. Then we were told to register at the front desk, the one helping us spoke extremely fast and it was difficult to hear her, and not once did she smile. The guy at the second door, the one to the main room, he was nice -- spoke very clearly and at a natural pace. Once we got into the main room, it was noisy, crowded, and a little chaotic. We waited by the wall for our number to be called, the sales rep who eventually helped us didn't have very good customer service. We had never been to a dispensary before and we didn't know what we were looking for nor did we know what we were looking at. Our sales rep wasn't helpful at all: he didn't make any suggestions, have any follow up questions, didn't smile, and he was conversing with whom I'm assuming are regulars while "helping" us. We felt overwhelmed and rushed, and wasn't a great experience at all. We bought a couple items, but we left feeling unwelcome. It felt like "sell sell sell and next customer"!

Not the best selection of products, compared to some other dispensaries I've been to but they did have a good variety of bud. The space being in SF was quite small so it was difficult to navigate with the crowd. Also, they had products that were limited to medicinal use only, which as a recreational consumer I don't like not having full access to all products (I would have a medicinal card if I was a resident). My budtender seemed to be losing patience with my questions. This place was too small/ crowded for my tastes.

These guys used to be good, good not great. Staff have no idea, they just sell what they ate told to push. Way Way to expensive and no price brks for quantity?? Not the local shop, they want gouge tourists for their cash. The prices are crazy! Ba Bye

I been coming here for about a year now, I been buying and smoking weed from Denver to La and this is the best spot for selection! Everyone who works at the place seem awesome, but if  your lucky you get "Carlos"  if you have a question, he knows what he's talking about and the fact that he seem honest and actually cares about what your asking him!  Even though I probably ask the same questions every time I come, it's nice when you meet someone like "Carlos" and you get a sincere answer!Weed selection 4.5 stars+"Carlos"=5 stars!!!Team "Carlos"

My FAVORITE  SF Dispensary by far! And I've tried a few till I found my home base!  ! They are  FANTASTIC! GREAT customer service.. wonderful display that allows  the customer to really get idea of what they are purchasing .. Love the product display ! And nice  that the consumer  can smell the products! Also the. bud tenders particularly my main man.. Steve .. who is SO helpful and  such a cool dude! ... are SO knowledgeable and helpful  ! They know about their product and offer suggestions that are ALWAYS helpful and spot on their recommendations in my experiences with them Appreciate that! Some places have bud tenders who have no clue about their product! .. To me they are simply  The BEST! Highly recommend! Green Cross is TOPS!

Went in looking for a nice indica strain for my chronic back pains and my insomnia and my budtender i think his name was Vince was so very helpful, he explained to me which strains were best suitable for my condition. Highly recommend definitely coming back. Thanks Vince

*updated to 2.5 stars since homeboy (whose name I don't know or I would definitely drop, avoid him) sold me a display item that was empty. Big ups to the manager for handling my return nicely and for giving me a discount, but really disappointing to open my bag up to find an empty container and drive all the way back over there. I would like to think that staff knows their display items don't contain product and won't leave that up to the customer to suss out at their inconvenience. When he asked if I wanted it because it was the last one left, I didn't anticipate him asking me that about an empty container! And why would I? I felt pretty duped. Generally, though, their service and staff is better than this which is why I still patronize them.

This dispensary disappointed me. Super overwhelming inside- dark lighting and too many people in a tiny space and although the flower looked beautiful, they only offer 1/8ths or more and the prices definitely aren't the most affordable for those 1/8ths($45-$60 avg). Seems to cater to the wealthier crowd who are in it more for the experience of buying the weed than of actually enjoying it.

The Green Cross is a great place. I am always able to find parking.  I can get in and out quickly and easily. Ask for Steve, he is very good at tailoring your taste to the right product.

I went to the Green Cross the day before 4/20 rather early in the morning - maybe 8 AM or so.  They surprisingly still had a handful of customers.  Front desk guy was very nice and being a new customer/giving my info and all that stuff went pretty smoothly.  The "welcome" kit they give you as a new customer is quite a lot - papers, a lighter, pins - not that I came for the swag but it was a nice touch.  Also they provide this booklet that actually has useful information about  laws, your rights if you are searched and things of that nature.  The actual line also went pretty fast and still felt like people were getting the service they needed - myself included.  One of the items got (a vape) was defective but that was more of a manufacturing problem that I get resolved with the product's actual company.  But no complaints - just that if you buy hardware - maybe ask if there's a way to test it?

This place is great!  The staff is always polite, and the prices are super.  They also run a lot of specials.  Highly recommend checking them out.

i dont come in here too often but when i do i always seem to get steve as my budtender! steve is everythinnng from his bomb personality  to his knowledge on trees. he always recommends what he likes n i'm always happy with his recommendations. sucks that management doesnt allow them  to receive  tips which is the most ridiculous thing i've heard. i was almost upset that steve wouldn't take my tip bc hes so lit n he deserved it. i highly appreciate the  grace period on my expired ID also that was a huge plus. will b coming often now

Love this place! Great deals! Always excellent customer service. In fact,Maeva, is my favorite front concierge, she greets me each time; She does not skip the "hellos" and "take care" in all my visits. Her excellent customer service won a customer for life in Green cross and it all started with Maeva. And hopefully they've served as an inspiration for all businesses to understand how to handle out of the ordinary circumstances.

Best damn club in the city! Great prices, Veteran discount, friendly knowledgeable staff, and clean professional atmosphere. The Dr Seuss decor is awesome too. Love this club!

Ever since marijuana was legalized, dispensaries have been packed with recreational users looking to experiment or just buy the occasional edible. I have no problem with this except that this dispensary does not have the space for more customers. I had to wait approximately 30 mins just to get my medicine. In my personal opinion, this should have been one of the few dispensaries that only accept medical use.While I hate the wait, The Green Cross does have a huge variety of cannabis products and stay true to their online menu. With so many customers, they sell out pretty fast so make sure to call before hand to ensure that they still have the product you are looking for. Or just arrive when they open in the morning. If you have a white, resealable bag from The Green Cross or another dispensary, bring it back again to avoid the $1 bag fee. Stay lifted!!

To loud and crowded on a weekend to speak to anyone. I told the guy I wanted some edibles, flowers, and CDB and he gets the indica I wanted and hands me over to the cashier.

I'm from Texas and I was in SF visiting an art exhibit I worked on. The green cross was close to my AirBnB and I couldn't wait to visit lol. The staff was friendly. They had security outside - which was kinda weird to me at first but it seems like all dispensaries do that. The dude was cool though, and as my first point of contact for the dispensary he set a good tone for the visit. I got signed up quickly. The staff inside were very knowledgeable and helpful. I told them I wanted the strongest bud they had lol. It was great. I got a quarter of something I don't remember the name of - but it was damn good. I remember it was over 32% thc. Got some prerolls too. Paid about the same as I do here in Texas where it's not legal. 5/5 would visit again.

This is my favorite cannabis dispensary in the city.  Not only the selections and the prices but the Master Budtender, Steve, is my reason for going there.  Steve not only knows what he sells, but great in advisingyou of what each cannabis is about, and with great personality! Definitely my favorite!   The store offers, security, efficiency in a comfortable environment.  Once you visit this place, you won't go anywhere else.

Great vibes each time I come in with one of the most reasonable prices. I'm an amateur smoker and getting the real knowledge on the right flower is something important to me.  Let me introduce my first bud tender at the Green Cross, Kim. She was patient, knowledgeable, and gave me excellent customer service. I mean, I asked a lot of questions.  If you're like me, learning the ins and outs I recommend this place and ask about Kim, she ya girl to go to!

I had my first experience purchasing legal marijuana at The Green Cross today. The process to join involves them taking a photo of your driver's license along with giving your email address. I'm pretty sure they want this info to keep the place secure. Asn a new customer, I got a little gift bag with rolling papers, a lighter, stickers, etc. Once you are signed up you can enter the showroom and browse until they call your number. They have a huge selection of about 40 strains - prices for most were a little on the high side but I expect them to come down once more dispensaries offer recreational sale.  Recommended!

We didn't have the best experience at Green Cross.. When going inside we got hassled because our car was parked across the street and then the security said to my homeboy "why don't you go move your car and take care of that for me". That was rude of him to say.. then when I got checked in they didn't even give me a number because the receptionist and security guard was talking to each other the guard forgot to hand me a number so I was waiting against the wall like an idiot.. they called a few numbers and then I was thinking like where is my number at?? Walked back out and got a number then waited to be called then when I get tended to I get my weed and leave. The short Latina girl with the gray hoodie on fucked up because she didn't give me a receipt nor a black bag to put the products in... I walked out and left then when I parked to the side to take a look at the Tri fi strain I bought it wasn't even the right strain... it was SG Tangi Kush... I went back immediately and they asked for my receipt and I didn't have one because the Latina chick didn't give me one then she asked about the black bag and said I wasn't suppose to just take it out like that... she then looked at me like it was my fault but she didn't even give me the bag in the first place... so many things went wrong already... experience.. service.. they didn't even compensate me when they should've for their mistake... I will not come back here ever again because of this... they didn't even do anything to make it right for the customer... just wow... bad experiences and bad service...  you guys should check your cameras too because it was your employee that fucked up and didn't do her job right and it looked like it was my fault I didn't get a receipt or black green cross bag to put the products. Update from store visit on 9/25/19 (Wednesday night)-I enter the dispensary, they check me in, I get a number and wait in line. As I entered and waited for my number to be called a gentleman with a red button up shirt helped me out but as he called my number "46" he snatched the number from me and asked what I was looking for. He didn't even greet me or ask me how my day or myself was doing.. Then I told him that I had credit on my account that I wanted to use and as he looked up my account he had seen the notes on my account. As he read it he was thinking in his head "oh someone like this...." he didn't say it but the look on his face, his facial expression and body language just said it all... bad vibes and experience once again... When he goes to get what I wanted which were 3 $25 8ths he got it for me then as he was checking me out he then asked me if I wanted to just put the 3 8ths in my pocket... I was thinking don't I need that black bag?? I asked him for the black bag and he then said it was .10 cents. I said that was fine. Then after that he had the audacity to ask me how my day was going...? I then replied I just got off of school and decided to come here again and maybe get a better experience. Not it at all. Same bad experience and service. Then he said "oh that's good, that's not bad at all that you got 3 8ths for .10 cents... I felt the sarcasm. Like what is wrong with your bud tenders?!!? I was handed my weed and left. Wow. I have never felt such a hostile attitude and environment from any club before.. Kevin R, I think you should visit your SF storefront to see what is going on because I GUARANTEE you I will NEVER come back to the green cross ever again! I will tell all my buddies about the crappy experience and service I received from this dispensary... just wow... I hope you have audio on your cameras too so that you can hear it as well.

Up until today, I would come here once a month to buy medicinal cartridges to vape for my medical condition. I had a valid medical marijuana card from the city with all the requested paperwork from Green Cross, yet when I tried to enter the first two times, there was always some problem with the paperwork or their computer system, e.g.their software had sent my confirmation email to another person's email address due to a merge of their software system.The staff can be hit or miss with some very personable while others quite dismissive.  I've had to wait for service for up to twenty-five minutes with my number in hand, waiting to to be called. Once inside to where the goods are sold, you'll find yourself in a cheesy environment with no place to sit, just a wall to lean against while waiting for your number to come up on their queuing system, much like you'd find in a bank.Today, I went in to buy my monthly supply of cartridges and after the layers of rent a cop, was told that Green Cross had been out of all cartridges for a week and no one knew when they would have any in stock. Really? I go in on a late Thursday afternoon when Green Cross should be stocked with inventory for the weekend and all I get is a blank stare from the counter staff.More importantly, the prices are higher than other dispensaries I've patronized over the past fifteen years. You're paying for the overhead  . . . . .two staff at the computer check in. . . two security people, and maybe seven people behind the counter, yet the wait time is long. The S.F. marijuana dispensary market is quite and competitive. You only get one chance to make a first impression. When the trappings of your dispensary is more important than your inventory and you don't have a clue about when your inventory will be in stock, I'm moving on to your competitor where the counter people are consistently pleasant yet the service is fast.Update: I purchased 8 vapor cartridges from the Cookie Co. 415 today. Instead of paying $237.60 at Green Cross, I paid $214. You say, not much difference but the experience at the Cookie Co. was heavenly not hellish.

I like the cross.  It's my go to spot when all else fails. Not a fan of the edibles, I wish they carried Korova.  Unfortunately these last couple batches I got were too dry. I need some fresh sticky flowers,  not some nug that's gonna dissolve to powder when I grind it up to roll one. Other than that I like the prices. I can still grab some quality stuff without breaking the bank.  Cartridges included. Today I grabbed a 3.5 of flowers and a .5 cartridge for 60.

No organic weed, no senior discount till yer 65, why would I go back here? Limited if not shitty edible selection. And it's a really claustrophobic room, they where also giving an old guy some shit about wearing "prescription" glasses too. WTF !!! Won't be going back anytime soon & that's a fact.

Got my weed card back in January and stopped here first because it's close to my house. It's a well run operation with guys out front in black suits with ear pieces, lookin' all Secret Service and shit. Staff is friendly, organized, all that. First visit I got my freebies and dude recommended to me a type of weed (weed-store culture calls the weed "flowers") based on what I told him I was looking for. I purchased a gram of that and went on my way. Second visit, no problems, all good.Third visit I'd done some homework using their website, went in and asked for a gram of a particular thing. Turns out, it is now beneath the Green Cross to offer such paltry amounts to non power-smokers like myself. One must be willing to buy at least an eighth of an ounce (3 times the amount I wanted) or get lost. They offer "pre-rolls," which is code for "joint" in weed-store culture, for those not looking for larger amounts but I don't want a cigarette, nor do I want to dismantle a cigarette for its shredded-up contents. Not to mention the strain I wanted to try isn't available in joint form. On their website menu all offerings are well curated with photos, descriptions of effects, strength, flavor/odor, suggestions for medical application, etc. It's a nice resource to be honest. It does me no good however, if I am forced to buy a quantity I don't want. I am not a heavy user and don't want to spend money on something that's going to rot unless I smoke the fuck out of it. I'm not willing to cough up $40 for an eighth when I don't know if I am even going to like the product. I'm not a member of the weed-jock club who pride themselves on their massive tolerance and knowledge of all manner of strains of weed, so it would be useful to be able to purchase smaller amounts to try stuff out. I'm not looking for a "nickel bag." I understand delivery minimums, but I walked into the actual store. My time was wasted. It's a hostile practice--elitist--and my money's going elsewhere unless it changes.

I've been going to Green Cross since the days that marijuana was medical only. I love the ambience, friendly and knowledgeable staff, great selection and prices with something always on sale, and can usually park right in front. Steve is my favorite bud tender! He listens intently to what I'm looking for and always comes up with something great. Service with a smile and friendly conversation, especially when it comes to the Warriors!

I like this place and would recommend it to visitors and/or locals. The security and check-in staff are very polite and professional. I went in for the first time the other day. You have to sign up as a member (for free) and they give you a good bag of rolling papers, a lighter, and educational material. The bud staff were friendly and quick. I would definitely visit again. Also, if you refer other people that become members, they give you more discount. Pretty cool!

Parking police!? They're really on people for blocking driveways momentarily. I don't think it's their place.

The products here were good however their are no deals and nothing for new members. I'll probably only come for the edibles if I ever come back at all.

Great selection, great prices, friendly service - all under one roof. Nice selection of medicine which includes everything from cannabis to tea is well complemented by a nice selection of fairly priced accessories. Plus you get very nice gifts for checking them out for the first time.

I started out really liking this place. The registration and check in process are terrific. The folks at the front of the house are very warm, welcoming and professional. The staff in the retail area are also very warm and enthusiastic. I'm definitely an infrequent and recreational user, so not the most sophisticated customer. But they walked me through the process of deciding what was a good product for my interest. I live in the neighborhood so I was glad to support a local shop. However, I pretty much got the cold shoulder today when trying to return/replace a non-working vape pen that was fairly new (5 months). The manufacturer web site directs customers with faulty product to "return to the dispensary you purchased from for a full refund". That seems pretty hard to deny but the folks at Green Cross did just that. I was told they wouldn't honor the manufacturer policy and they wouldn't stand by the product they sold me. The initial few experiences I had at the Green Cross were great and I was happy to be a repeat customer. Today's lousy customer service was bizarre and unfortunate. Because of this, I won't return or recommend.

We have just opened a new purchase after the rule changes. Not to mention the astronomical price increase. Way to much packaging. No reduce reuse around here. There needs to be a change for the better. This is a change for the much worse.

First time in this dispensary/collective. I had been looking for a new place closer to home/work as I have usually gone down to San Jose for my needs. I saw that they had one of my favorite strains for the Pax Era and after a rough night of minimal sleep I decided to check them out after work. Joining is extremely easy even for the recreational user like myself. Just have a valid ID and not even 2 minutes after walking in the door you're signed up and ready to shop. Since I already knew what I wanted and admittedly dead ass tired I didn't waste time getting my goodies (next time I hope to spend a little more time perusing the stock). Vinnie was quick grabbing what I was after and Max rang me up. No lines, clean shop, everyone is nice and respectful, great welcome packet with info that is really nice to have that I didn't receive from other places I've gone to. I also love that they are community aware and are involved in a lot of youth programs and other outreach programs. Green Cross has definitely earned themselves a new customer!

Army vet couldn't get my military discount, they wanted to have my dd214 on file, who carries that form around? Not one Veteran i know none. Won't be back don't reccomend it go elsewhere

Nice! When everything became legal, I was fully expecting Marlboro greens to be sold at gas stations. This artisanal brand of weed is unexpected. The Green Cross is possibly the best dispensary I've been to yet. Many dispensaries are clean and nice with excellent customer service, but this place takes the cake.

The Green Cross has a lot of positive things going for it, so to be fair, I'll start there. First and foremost, the cost is very low. You can get lab tested and highly reliable weed for $40 an eighth. Nothing special mind you, but you certainly won't feel exploited. Second their selection is good. They have most everything, even if it isn't the best cut. Third, the atmosphere and bud tenders are very welcoming. Here is why I no longer buy my meds from The Green Cross. You won't find anything exceptional here. Sure their product is lab tested, but if you use a magnifying glass, you'll see that the trichome coverage on your cheap eighth is commensurate with what you paid, which is not much.  In other words, you will be hard pressed to find fire at Green Cross. If you fancy yourself a connoisseur give this place a big miss. There are simply to many other options to settle for decent buds.

Awesome location!  Close to the 44. Great staff (loving Lorenzo!) and prices are low ($35, 1/8)! I would recommend checking the menu before walking in since the place tends to get packed. I love the selection, people and prices! Can't beat a smile at every visit walking in and and out :)

I only started smoking weed just over a year ago. Been to a few dispensaries and am satisfied that the green cross is the best dispensary in the sf Bay Area. Prices, selection, and customer service that can't be beat. They have a great website that is easy to navigate. You might think parking would be a problem but since I've been going there I've always found parking quickly and within a block of the store. I'm always in and out within 10 minutes. One improvement they might want to offer in the future would be, the ability to place an order online so as to guarantee you get what you want.

The green cross is organized and professional with quality products and competitive prices. I am most impressed with the staff, being friendly and knowledgeable. Specifically tender Andrew J., whom has helped me the last few times I have shopped there. He provided excellent reviews of several new strains and I now ask for his recommendations every time I go. Every customer he helped before me left with a smile too. This is the only dispensary that I will shop at.

Another one of SF's finest, The Green Cross gets my second review and first 5 stars for their level of professionalism, knowledge in the industry, and delicious edibles. They're a little smaller and don't have quite as many products as some dispensaries, but they make all their own delicious edibles and they have a fantastic crew on deck.Security doesn't make you feel unwelcome here. I've never been in when it's overly crowded and totally respect their flower game through and through. My number one recommendation for freshly baked edibles.

They used to have a delivery minimum of only $25, which was amazing. That said, as I don't live too far by bus, on a budget it's worth it to visit them in person for a better deal on an 1/8. Otherwise, it's now a $50 minimum and if you don't meet it, they throw another $5 fee, and there's also a $5 fee for any deliveries after 5pm. OH, and if you order online on a Sunday for a delivery, make sure to call them back Monday because apparently their system has a habit of resetting itself and erasing any Sunday online requests.Timewreck is my current favorite sativa flower.

I have to frequent back and forth to San Francisco and this is my go to place.  Nice and classy look to it and I can always get in and out quick I don't usually have a problem parking in that neighborhood.  Too bad not as perks as they used to have before recreational became legal. But they give discounts for referrals besides that nothing. But I get good deals for a quick 8th for $25-$30 out the door.  Oh ya, I love the coffee smell in the lobby! It's gives of cafe vibes.

After having a problem with the disability discount the last visit and a not so good review the manager contacted me and said he was sorry for the confusion with the paperwork needed for the discount. And thanked me for being understanding and cleared up my info for the next visit and will return the 10 % on the previous purchase. I say that is very cool and one of the only clubs that I have been to that gives a disability discount that I know of.

This was my first time walking into the green cross in a long time and i gotta say i was not disappointed with the service at all!! I was utterly surprised about how friendly and knowledgeable these budtenders are about their flowers. This guy named Vincent came to my service and he did a great job in guiding me to what i needed for the night. We were also having a great conversation about sports and the kinds of weed we like to smoke. It's a great feeling to come into a dispensary where i can get good cannabis and have great conversations with everyone there. I'd highly recommend coming back here!!!

I love this dispensary.  Great prices on top shelf and the staff is always friendly and attentive.  I could only wish for more of a consistent concentrate menu, specifically shatter.  Sometimes I feel the buds should be kept in a better container because the buds are a lil on the dry side at times.  Overall a great spot.

The green cross is the closest dispensary to my house.    Which is why it's my go to when I am unable to get it from the east bay.      The price point is really attractive they cap their 8ths a very fair price.The staff has always been really helpful. I've never left there feeling like they pushed me on any one product.   They are professional.   They will talk to you and do their best to find the medicine that works for you.    I've been a member for about 3 years now and I always feel welcomed walking in.Parking is a little difficult but it's SF what do you expect.  If you arrive at the right moment you can use the 10 minute parking located right in front.   After about 6pm you are able to use the parking lot across the street at the mechanic shop.Go check them out

I signed up with the Green Cross this morning and had my first delivery in the same day! They were very helpful when discussing my symptoms and recommended some CBD capsules and gummies. The delivery guy, Eric, was very kind and professional. Overall this company's service was amazing. I will be sure to order from here again!

Great service , San Fran cost a lot more than Las Vegas. Their gummies are great and there is different levels. The pineapple gummies good. The chocolate pretzels sativa are great to start your day. Free gift to first time customers.

Great quality and service but expensive. When I went there all the grams were at least  $18! Good deal on oil and edibles.  I recommend the gummy and chocolates!Parking is often hard to find and wait is short.

Two years ago, Green Cross was posting on social media a story about "The crack of cannabis", aka cannabis wax, BHO, shatter, etc. I wrote them an email asking why they'd post such nonsense, only to be told that is their firm stance. They wouldn't discuss it further.Fast forward to the present. It looks like they changed their mind. Considering how they stood their ground on their previous stance, I find this to be pretty funny, but I'm glad they kept an open mind. I ordered some wax from Green Cross to be delivered about 2-3 weeks ago. The wax is decent. The delivery person was nice, like usual.

Awful attitude, these guys are so superficial with their fake politeness, they are disrespectful and have no intention of keeping happy customers. They don't respond to emails and have no management, just collect your money..

This is an exceptional place for all your "bud" purchases. This is the store I go to. The layout is small and cozy. The products are great. The "Budtenders" are outstanding and know their products. If you are lucky to get waited on by budtender, Steve, rejoice. Your experience will be on "cloud nine" with a mind rush calling out to you, "I need to get home with my buds and enjoy." This place is very ok with me . The atmosphere feels easy and relaxed . I'm gonna be honest and say I wasn't so impressed the first few times with the "budtenders" but the selection and price factor kept me coming back . One of my favorite despensaries. I love how everyone looks professional, and they really try to keep their community happy by regulating with the security. THe folks that work here are very nice and helpful. I like their new number system that makes it very clear who's turn it is. Highly recommended!

A really neat place. Greeted upon entry and assisted with registration. The interior of this location is surprisingly awesome and the staff are attentive and help breaks down what you need or looking for if you are uncertain with what to get. They have everything . Btw there's tea and coffee in the lobby before you exit out of the building.

I've been going to the green cross for about 5 years now, it's always great experience. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It's was weird seeing one of the front desk women behind the register but even tho she wasn't working her normal post she still provided great customer service like always. She always greets you when you walk in with a smile. Hard to find cheerful people that enjoy what they do.

I only return to Green Cross because of Steve. He is a great guy and very knowledgeable. He brings a smile to my face. Thank you Steve.

I've been here three times so far. Total n00b to the weed card game. The people in the front are always super nice, but the customer service from the budtenders could definitely improve. Y'all are salesmen... sell me on something you like or you think I'd like!1st visit: told budtender I'm not really sure what I'm doing and he seemed annoyed and uninterested in helping me. I felt pretty rushed so I bought one thing and left.2nd visit: the guy was super nice and actually talked to me a bit about what his recommendations were. I bought more than just one thing because he gave me some suggestions - all of which were great!3rd visit: another uninterested guy who made me feel rushed.Not sure if I want to come back, which sucks because I live fairly close by. The quality of bud is great and I'd love to spend a ton of money here, but as I said, I always feel rushed. Their loss, I guess. I've heard good things about a few other dispensaries in the area so I might shop around for a different place to frequent.

Been here a few times now and I can say it's  in my top 3 list of dispensaries in SF. They stand out because of the customer service and vibe you get from the entire staff. It's the little things that can matter most. I live downtown with plenty of places within walking distance but I often elect to take a trip to green cross because it's always worth it.

Great products! NEVER disappointed by the selection. I think going in-store is much better than getting delivery even though sometimes it is really busy. Prices are even better in store so it is worth the trip.Sometimes I feel a little skimped but MOST OF THE TIME it's on point (literally).Also digging the new daily deals for delivery.

This is by far the worst club I've been to. They have horrible attitudes and all around rude. This is my 2nd time coming to this location. The last time I came with a temporary id because my wallet was stolen a few weeks prior. Once I received my new cannabis card I took it here with my temporary drivers license and they declined it  after a few weeks of waiting I return with my drivers license and cannabis card and they decline me again be cause I had a caregivers card. They wanted me to bring my patient in lol. If they could come by them selves they wouldn't need me. Long story short this was a waste of time and they were extremely rude.

By far the best dispensary that I have ever been to they make sure that you are taking care of and they give great deals I would recommend this above all of that Cannabis stores

Mega grow, mid grade crap, tourist weed shop. If you live in the bay area, you can do way better on price and quality. Also, staff and owner are complete doucebags who treat their customer like sheep. Don't wast your time or money at this "corporate" weed shop. They should change their name to Weedmart...

Came here on Saturday around 4:30 PM to their new location in the Mission.  Great parking spot in front reserved sign said "10 min parking" which was great.Noticed a few guards on either end of the door watching over the neighborhood with head-sets, not intimidating at all, just watching and making sure everyone is behaved.Upon walking in, you are met by two very nice and well dressed folks, one gal behind the counter helped me check in, asked for all my info, DL and to sign a membership form.  The other gentleman handed me a number and went over more rules and such (no cell phones while inside, no waiting, cash only etc.  normal stuff)I had my # called, and picked up a great 1/8th for $35 and got an edible for $5 (not too strong at all but very pleasant! It was wonderful to still function after having one of the cookies).Great location near 280, easy access on Mission.  My to-go-to spot for SF medicine.Thanks guys and gals!

I was initially planning a trip to another dispensary,  though I found The Green Cross on Yelp on my way there and decided to give them a shot.Here is my experience at The Green Cross.*Location: The Green Cross is located in the outer mission, a 10 minute walk from the Glen Park bart station.*First time experience: I was welcomed by 2 guys at the counter that checked out my MMC, they looked over my card and almost didn't take it, but they did, (and as a first timer coming all the way from the east bay, that was a good call, gentlemen) but at the request that I bring my written recommendation next time, which is fine by me. I will say this was probably the easiest first time membership I've ever had to do, sign up only took 2 minutes on their tablets, very efficient. First timers get a little goodie bag upon entry featuring, I received: a lighter, a couple TGC apparel pins, rolling paper, a sticker, and a preroll container. I was pretty stoked about it until looking in the bag later and seeing the preroll container was empty and didn't smell any weed ever even being in it. Hmm... Moving on.*Budtenders: The budtenders here were very polite and knowledgeable. I'm a guy that wants to leave with the right product, and not feel rushed or tension in the process. They were patient and helpful while I was making my selection. *Security: The security here matches the overall cool ambiance of TGC, while still maintaining a sense of professionalism of the establishment. Yes, they're in suits. No, they don't bite.*Merchandise: A large variety of strains, delicious looking edibles, concentrates, and prerolls. They also have a lot of different smoking utensils from pipes to papet to bongs, pretty cool guys.*My purchase: I purchased God's Gift, a fitting name for the best plant on earth, and smoked it later that day and it was good stuff, but like others may suggest, nothing entirely TOO memorable, but again that's just my first experience. Overall Experience: Initially I was worried as to what to expect with me coming from so far, I hate wasting time, but The Green Cross is anything but. If you want good weed for a generally affordable price in a safe, welcoming atmosphere, this is the spot. (If you can make the trip)P.S: With all that said, I still want my damn preroll

Didnt feel welcome. Atm was broke. Went to the ATM down the street, on my way back in , the security guard(he was just doing his job, no fault on him) needed my ID again after i just gave it to the front desk. Not about to spend my money. I also didnt see ANY people of color working there. Not about to spend my money in a fucking hipster coffee shop. Gave back the feeebie bag and bounced. Maybe im hyper sensitive but i didnt feel welcome. There was a vibe like im supposed to give them my money.

The first thing you notice is the Dr. Suess themed decor. It's very swank actually. I like the dark walls. It's all very dramatic. They have products I have never seen elsewhere. Their introductory packet is quite awesome compared to others, I must say! I got a sticker, a button, (which is not out of the ordinary) a manual, (which not many provide) AND a free rolling machine with a complimentary packet of rolling papers ON TOP of the free edible with my 1st visit! Now that's just outstanding compared to all the places I have been all over the Bay from SJ, Oakland, Berkeley, and SF. I will come here again!

Bummed that everything is pre bagged now.  The bud tenders would pull the stems and weigh out buds. Most of the bags to choose from had obvious stems in them. Not feeling the new display either.

This place has really gone downhill. They used to remain well stocked however in the last 3 weeks they had run out of my medicine and never restocked. No gummies no capsules just weed. And most of the staff are stoned during working hours and even using alcohol. It's not hard to smell it on them. Not about medical patients anymore. Just trying to sell pot. Very disappointed. Won't go back. Too many other places. I'm not going to waste my gas for this place

I'm so blown away by the Green Cross! From before we even entered the door, we were treated warmly by their staff security. My friend and I had never been here, heard so many great things, so we wanted to experience it for ourselves. Becoming a member was easy and pleasant, the girl at the desk that handled it was so pleasant and thorough. I LOVE how they emphasized respecting their neighbors & parking. That's real, and I appreciate that compassion and humbleness! Got to respect the locals! :)The staff inside had such positive vibes & stellar customer service. They go beyond!!! Carlos was top notch helping my friend and I find what we needed! Thank you Carlos! We didn't interact personally with all the staff but they ALL seemed very pleasant, helpful and down to earth! Such. Good. VIBES!! So so important these days, esp when it comes to customer service, it just seems rare these days. Some dispensaries can be pretty pretentious and "corporate" feeling, which adds a bit of stuffiness, so I'm just appreciative of the entire experience & staff from start to finish! I cannot recommend them enough! This place is just dope, well stocked with a plethora of strains, edibles, and goodies! Just REAL good feels all around! A++++, you guys! I can't wait to see ya'll again! :)

The Green Cross staff are excellent. The medicine is legitimate, safe, and clean. If it wasn't for the staff and their security I wouldn't feel safe in the neighborhood they are in.  Green Cross does a lot more to keep their neighbors happy. They do block off some spots on residential streets I assume to keep neighbors happy. Today I realized how glad I was that their security team is attentive because they helped me deal with someone In the neighborhood who didn't like that I parked too close to his car(tried to be sympathetic). They did a good job coming outside to help me deal with an unhappy neighbor and helped me back out of my spot without hitting his car. I will say though you need to be careful in this neighborhood and not piss off the gang members. I hope one day green cross can expand their services into a safer neighborhood in san fransisco not so heavily gang controlled and will probably stick to their delivery service for a while just to avoid entering this neighborhood.

I have been going to the green cross for a couple years and I was disappointed the last time I went in. Their prices are honestly unbelievable now. Almost twenty dollars for a tiny joint. I also bought a disposable vape pen from them and I got home to find that it doesn't even work. I also never see any women working as bud tenders. Unfortunately I won't be going back there I don't think. Plenty of other dispensaries nearby.

Been to a few dispensers and I keep returning to the Green Cross.  The people are friendly and professional. I always seem to get helped by Steve and I usually go with his recommendation, cool guy.  The outdoor flowers are great quality at a good price. I've tried some of their edibles but not sold on them. If the edibles were higher quality I would give the Green Cross five stars.

This was my first time coming to the green cross and I will for sure be back. Even though it extremely busy everyone was super courteous and friendly. The manager, Ryan, is the man. He was very knowledgable and willing to answer all my questions. Twice even!  The two individuals working at the front desk were also amazing and super helpful. And their was no chance they would let us leave without grabbing a free edible. :)

The Green Cross is by far the best dispensary in SF. I have been to at least a couple dozen in the last 10 years and none have been able to match the quality and service of The Green Cross. Now these guys have their sh*t together.  It's easier to order from The Green Cross than it is to order a pizza.The product is top-of-the-line with a huge variety to choose from.  In addition, their prices are the best I've found in the city yet, which I believe is do to the fact they're a non-profit organization.Plus, if you're one of the first 10 people that place an order that day, they throw in an extra edible which is a nice way to start off a good Saturday :).They are professional, courteous, and they're drivers are on-time.  They give you a quick call when they're right outside and the transaction couldn't be simpler.  Last, they're drivers don't accept tips.  This completely avoids that "awkward moment" when you're getting out of a cab and you don't know what to give them.Overall, The Green Cross has been my best cannabis experience since receiving my MM card.

First time ordering from here and by far the best delivery service i have ever experienced! I believe the office person name was Will. He was very helpful in helping me choose the right medication for me. I dont smoke so, edibles are my preferred method of medicating. Your Raspberry & Pineapple gummies are absolutely amazing. And the free Chocolate Chocolate Brownie he gave me for my free edible was very tasty. Eric my delivery guy. He was very courteous, respectful and professional! All in all very pleased with the level of service and professionalism here!

I LOVE THE GREEN CROSS!!! They have a wide variety of cannabis and sell EVERYTHING cookies, gummies, tea, lozenges, oil, hash, truffles, brownies, hoodies, tank tops, grinders, lighters etc. The establishment is really clean and organized, and the people that work there are really nice and have great suggestions...love this place!

The Green Cross of San Francisco was one of the city's pioneers for legitimizing the medical marijuana industry into a more professional practice.  I have been a customer of Green Cross for a long time and ever since the owner left a couple of years ago, the new management has  taken a nose dive.  The now-management has no idea what good customer service is nor do they stand behind their products and merchandise.  I am an honest patient and I do not understand why the new management insist on undervaluing their loyal customers who helped established this company in the first place?!  I have hesitated in writing this review as I have been a big supporter of Green Cross but a growing number of ill-customer service experiences is taking a toll. My latest experience was when I bought a PAX Era pen from them and it didn't work in its first week of purchase.  They refused me for an exchange and turned me away to have me call PAX themselves to resolve the problem.  I also had a faulty PAX Era Pod that stopped working properly.  As the Pod was $70 for a half gram and there was more than half of product unused, I approached them with the same and they refused me the same. This time, their management conveniently used the 'over 30 days' clause and denied me the same.  The first unsatisfactory experience was when I purchased a Spliffin pen from them and there was an issue with mechanics where I had to ask for an exchange too. That was the beginning of a history with Green Cross who do not stand behind all the products they sell.  I was appalled as I have always been treated with courtesy and fairness in the past. With the legalization of marijuana to hit this state's retail market in the new year, Green Cross best learn how to cultivate good customer service tactics and know how to uphold professional courtesy and extend that into their practice.  Come the new year, Green Cross will have more competitors to make them rattle nervous and patients will have a plethora of new places to go.

I really hate to do this but this morning I called for delivery only to find out they now have a $50.00 minimum.  One of the reason I used them was because I could order a couple packages of cookies or and 1/8th for the day and not have to shell out $60.00 to have it brought to me. Luckily I used used Eaze up and they were more then happy to deliver my $40.00 order. "Sorry Man" just like what GC's customer service said to me...

I ask for top shelf indica to help me sleep not caring on price willing to pay and they gave me some bunk mid grade weed. I was fool by the low lighting and huge jar once I got in my car it looked and smoke like mid green. Thanks for wasting my time and tricking customer with high ratings from friends or request 5stars hype. Never ever again don't waste your time here if you're looking for actual true meds go elsewhere

I drive from San Mateo to San Francisco for The Green Cross-By far the best club in the city. From the moment you walk in the door, you're treated with so much love. It's like I'm visiting an old friend! The service you get is awesome, everyone is very knowledgeable and welcoming. I always recommend this club to anyone who ever asks.

I like to keep my medical issues and politics private, aka, not talk about it online, but for these guys I will make an exception.  I've been a patient and an advocate for over a decade and I've seen a lot of clubs come and go, for a lot of reasons, usually the complete inability to understand business and community relations.  When The Green Cross opened in my neighborhood, it took me forever to find it.  My UPS guy gave me the address.  I went to check it out with my eyes all ready to roll back in my head for amatuar hour.   It was a little nightclub dark (I wish clubs would get over that) but the people where nice, product well marked and the price point couldn't be beat.  And they deliver!   Well I like seeing for myself and a 3 minute walk is doable.  Especially since last week, I almost cried with joy when they told me I could bring my old lady Chow/Aussie instead of having to tie her up outside.   No dog sizism here!I've seen I lot of improvements in this club since opening and here's what I really like best.They patrol the neighborhood for at least a 5 block radius in every direction picking up EVERYONE'S trash and have a security car which makes sure people are not hanging in the hood to medicate.  Not only that, they have beautified that entire block with plants and a nice bench.  I can now feel safe and confident and as woman walking that block, since the bar deadbeats have been sent back to the bar, but this wonderful staff.Oh and did I mention the nice email reminding you to send your renewed script before it expires you can upload the scan on their website.My medicine is affordable, close, and love my best friend, Miss Oya and CLEANS UP my neighborhood,  I'm down.BIg shout out to Steven and Micheal and all the other folks whose names I don't know yet.  Keep up the good work!

Wow I called to place an order and have been told I have been banned for 6 months because of my negative yelp review! WARNING: IF YOU DON'T GIVE THEM 5 STARS THEY WILL BAN YOU!!I just spoke to the manager for 13 minutes straight and he told me over and over that I don't like their service, I dont have to order from them anymore. I asked if he wants to  me to have access to my medicine and I was told what does that matter?I told him I'm disabled, I can't come to your store, and I'd like to get the medication my doctors prescribed and he said it has nothing to do with that. I wrote a bad yelp review. So I'm banned.WOW BUYER BEWARE. I HAVE SPENT THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS HERE FOY YEARS TO BE TREATED LIKE THIS. THEYRE SAYING MY 3 STAR REVIEW HURT THEIR BUSINESS SO BAD THAT THEY HAVE TO BAN ME! INCREDIBLE.  I seriously should have never come back after the 1st incident, but the manger left me a message (never talked to me) and asked me to, so I did. She also asked me to raise my yelp review, and I did. But it was not positive enough for them. They solicit these reviews and then punish their patrons for being honest!Oh he also said the manager says I'm a liar. He doesn't agree with my statement that some of their strains don't do a thing for me and that it is just badmouthing. Seriously? How can he know who something effects me? How dare they accuse me of lying? Why would I lie? What would I have to gain by lying?? Why on earth would I say anything bad about your business unless it were true?? And why would you ban a patient for telling the truth on a review you solicited from me??After a little reflection, I just realized what the problem is. The management has no compassion. They have left me twice with no medicine. They don't walk up the stairs to greet their disabled patients. The manager literally said what does it matter if I can't get it? He said he's running a business and he can't have his business damaged with bad reviews! They have totally lost sight of what they are here to do, help people! I told him I didn't get the free edible I was promised if I came back and he said so what. When I tell them I cannot go to their store because I'm disabled they tell me it doesn't matter. The most compassionate dispensary I've ever been to. They are not in it to make a winning, they charge a reasonable price for there meds. Ive never been disappointed or feeling left short on the variety or quality. In return they are serving the greater sf area with safe alternative medicine for those not wanting a life dependent on prescription pills.

I have to echo what some others have mentioned in previous reviews. The customer services is fine, and if you're on a budget you could do a lot worse than the cross. But , you will be disappointed if you are looking for something fire, something fresh, something memorable.The owner mentioned CRAFT collective in a response to a previous review, and if you were to view the flowers from both sites side by side you can clearly see the cross is worlds behind these guys. Everything on the cross menu looks very similar, no distinction, nothing amazing. Hopefully they pour some of that money they make into getting some new, improved product

About 5 months ago I discovered The Green Cross and it is now the only club I will go to. This dispensary is located in the outer mission so inherently parking is tough. Welcome to San Francisco right ? However, I appreciate the security/parking enforcement because they keep traffic flowing and stop jerks who will try to double park their car and block a lane. Also, The car repair shop across the street allows clientele of the Green Cross to park in their parking lot after 6pm and on the weekends. The Green Cross has such a wide array of FIRE ASS bud. I almost feel like a marijuana snob because I've become so accustomed to smoking kill. They have the THC and CBD levels posted on all their tree and I have yet to see a strain they carry that I wouldn't smoke. Their indoor grown weed is 35$ and 1/8 ! Say what !?! 35$ eighths of some bomb bud, thats about what I pay on the street for some cool tree. On a budget? Their outdoor grown marijuana is great too, I recommend the Lucas. I get an eighth whenever they have it.  What really sets them apart are the great workers they have, and the good vibes that exude from this place.  This dispensary is a place you feel good about buying your medicine from. I've come to know almost everyone that works in this dispensary by their first name and I've never once been greeted without a smile. The doormen, the front desk/check in staff, and most certainly the bud tenders; are all good natured, friendly people. This is a classy joint, as far as dispensaries go... I love not having to buy my weed through a glass window or push my way through jr. thugs to get in the door. FUN FACT: If you go on a good day the candy in the gum ball machine out front matches the floor. It's the little things that matter haha. They have a good rapport with their neighbors, I see them give (non-medical) candy to the neighbor kids, and you are not allowed in if you have blocked a driveway. Additionally, I notice all the time that they have an employee who sweeps up trash around the neighborhood. I REALLY LIKE THAT! I feel that speaks to their overall character as a business. Not only do they worry about the litter from their patients, they also do not want their presence in the community to step on any of their neighbors toes. I recommend this club to everyone.

Not the cheapest place to buy product, but that's not what they're going for. The atmosphere is friendly, and they even have people posted inside and out for customer comfort. The sales people never seem like they are in a hurry, and they've been patient with my girlfriend and myself both times we've gone here.

I just recently found this place and I am so glad that I did. The storefront in the Mission is pretty upscale and chill. Check it out on Google street view; you can click right into the lobby.The staff are professional and helpful and the budtenders know what they're about. They have a cool take a number number system for service, rather like a bakery. Its a good idea and it works well. The medicine is high quality and the prices are reasonable for San Francisco. Highly recommended.

A bit over the top when compared to other dispensaries. Obviously many like this. I think the process needn't be this particular. That said, very professional and the employees were nothing short of pleasant.

This place is hella dope. I love the vibe here  Everyone is super nice from the moment you open the door. Super laid back and are ready to answer any questions you have. My go-to dispensary for CBD flower, especially their ACDC and Swiss Tsu. The storefront staff are always friendly and efficient and their delivery is always fast and flawless.

I used to love this place. I started using them when they started with delivery only. However today's experience left me very dissatisfied. I purchased four pax cartridges a couple of days ago from David. At the time I asked him for the strongest indica with no flavor. So I tried it out the next day and noticed the cartridge he sold me was flavored and I don't like the taste. So I went back today and asked to exchange the  3 cartridges I did not open for ones that have no flavor. David said that he didn't know they were flavored. He took them back to the manager and they said I couldn't exchange them. Then he said that he told me that they were flavored. How did he not know it was flavored one minute then try to tell me he told me? They don't care about real medical customers. Too bad I have to find a new place. I hear Sparc is appreciative of long time customers and employs people who know the products they sell.

Get $2 off for wearing GC gear in store check in on Yelp get a tee lighter on in store purchase.  I got light if you got smoke lets do this.  Only part I don't like is the tax on the concentrates. Otherwise by far my fav club aka health spot

Wow, I really enjoyed my visit here! Very professional and lots of variety! We had Lorenzo, he was a great budtender!  The prices were great and the ambience was cool. Looks like 420 night club! Great music and good vibes! Definitely will be back. Go there if you are in the city... worth the stop!  Very happy camper with my  trees!

I really loved this dispensary. The staff was friendly, the selection is huge and I felt safe (something I haven't really felt in other dispensary's). the prices are a bit higher then other places I've visited but the atmosphere alone is worth it. Their sign up process was simple, their rules are completely reasonable and they gave me free goodies on my first visit :) The down fall is its really pricey.I paid $51 for a gram and a pre rolled. This will definitely be my god to spot.!

Wish they had delivery on Sunday's and I wish they took credit cards as a form of payment.

The Green Cross has easily become one of my favorite spots to buy my meds.  Sometimes can get a little overwhelming from all the loud music, but everyone working over the counter is super easy going and friendly. Meds are exceptionally priced with the quality.   And as much as i love this place, not quite a 5 star, not all the tenders know about ther meds

Ok, I have nothing original to say, but this place is wonderful! Everyone is really nice and professional. I have to say that their security detail looks like kind of a joke, but perhaps they're packing or have expert knife skills or something :-). Otherwise great - this review is overdue and I'm a longtime devotee! They're very consistent in their great service, and the products are highest quality.

Verily I sayeth my children: this place is my kind of cross.  The jars are all on display, and the prices are kind to the poorest among us.  Although thou may haveth thine leaf delivered, it is worth the pilgrimage.

Poor customer service! I followed the no line policy and I was refused service by a totally bias Caucasian male. I called and filled a complaint with management in return the manager who also happens to be a friend of the racist male fabricates a story and bands me for the future. The Green Cross  (open daily from 10am-7pm) is the best medical cannabis dispensary in the Bay Area! Besides being very flexible in pricing they also carry the strongest meds around. They offer over 30+ great strains at all times and have a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. If you are in the Bay Area stop by and give Green Cross a try,  I know you won't be disappointed. Did I mention they show mad love every time, especially for 1st time patients; including a patient rights book filled with useful information and courtesy grinder! Grab some OG Kush  or the CO2 oil; you won't be disappointed! This is as good as it gets! I must also mention that I always stop by their store front on Mission St.

Best place/price for flower in my opinion!  been loyal to Green Cross for 4+ years now.  Have to sadly admit that their edible game is not too strong, however, with the new laws, edibles are almost the same now anyway....  :(

I have nothing negative to say about The Green Cross. Prices were reasonable, products were always consistent in quality, and after your first delivery you get tons of freebies. I don't know if they do that anymore, but by reading these reviews I guess things are different. The brownies were my favorite.Ive tried several of their edibles, I've baked with their concentrated THC, I've bought several 1/8s. I was never dissapointed.My friends have seen me do the delivery and they said it looks super sketch. I basically tell them to meet me somewhere, we meet, I get in their car, and we make the exchange. It actually sounds really sketch now that I'm typing this...but I never felt uncomfortable. It was very professional and the different people I've met with have always been very friendly and easy to talk to.

Came back here after not coming here for a few months, the menu looks a lot better, a lot of different wax/concentrates selections. The flowers here for the price are 2nd to none. I will be coming back here more often good stuff green cross

The Green Cross is reliable, friendly and always available.I have been a member for over a year now.It is true that not all menu items have the same effect. I have a few favorites that I stick with. They are consistent. And the few times it has not been what I expected, it was never so bad that it wasn't worth the purchase.The reviews on here saying "they don't walk up stairs."They have always walked up my stairs. LOL.  Although out of courtesy, I go down to meet them. Usually as they are half way up already though, haha. You don't  have to tip them so, I think,  why not show the courtesy to your provider and go the extra mile. Their service is excellent! Also, I have never heard until reading some poor reviews that people order smaller amounts than 1/8.It doesn't make since to me to complain that they don't offer less than 1/8, when the 1/8 is a minor 35 dollars. LOL.I have searched other dispensaries out of curiosity and none of the ones I found had even close to the deals that Green Cross offers.I am sure they are not hurting from the few dis satisfied customers out there. And I kind of respect that they don't cater to the demanding people that write these poor reviews.Dude, simply put. Green Cross is always reliable, friendly and always available. Great selection of medication.  The people working are professional and will answer any questions.  The flowers are of great quality and have the popular stuff such a GSC and OG kush.  It definitely helps with my back pain and insomnia.

(Going to put a pro-tip for the 1-2 star reviewers I see on the main page.  If you are going to give a crap rating with a vague review, you probably shouldn't have been giving glowing reviews to other dispensaries right before or after your review for this place.  Really makes it show that you are only doing so to boost the other business rather than giving an actual review of your patronage)Been a patient for over a year.  First via their delivery service and now I go to their storefront when I can.  Delivery service has always been top notch and their plants have never ceased to amaze.  For their storefront service:  What a breath of fresh (and bud smelling) air.  First, the place is clean.  This includes the entrance and outside.  No tags covering the windows, no sketchy dudes milling around the front looking for free handouts, and no feeling like I am going to get mugged for going near the place.  They even have a professionally dressed (not some cholo in a polo) security guard who stands outside and opens the door for you with a friendly greeting (no disdainful stare)Inside, the entrance room is professional.  Again, everything is clean and professional looking.  The security inside is professionally dressed as well, and the guy checking my documentation was in slacks, a dress shirt, and at a professional looking desk.  He verified my information (first time it was by phone to ensure my rec. was valid) and then I was admitted to the storefront in back through a frosted glass and artistic wrought iron door (not a prison-looking security door)The storefront looks like what you would picture a candy store in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  The sales staff is not behind bulletproof glass, they are dressed professionally, and all the merchandise is stored in large candy jars that they open for you if you would like to get a closer look or smell.  The decor is clean, music is playing, there are large screen TV's.  Their selection is huge as well, with all different varieties and strains.  The thing that struck me the most was the overall ease that you feel being inside rather that other dispensaries that I have been to that make it feel like I was trying to cash a check in the T-Loin.  The staff has been professional and engaging every time I go in.  Other membership things:  I get membership emails alerting me to not only specials inside of the Green Cross but also for activism for MMJ in the bay area and nationally.  I also have seen the Green Cross have booths at local events such as the Castro Street Fair.  This shows me that Kevin and The Green Cross are very invested in the medicinal and therapeutic qualities of MJ and for ensuring access for patients in a respectful, clean, and efficient manner.

Wow, very rude service and the flower strains they had were all bone dry. I found the edible selection to be extremely limited to mostly one in house brand, I guess they make more money making their own stuff, but come on, we need a selection. I do say they have easier parking than most places and it was very clean, but could use some work in the inventory side.

I love this dispensary. Everyone is friendly and eager to help you find the perfect buds. I love the layout and I love the variety. It's right around the corner from my house and I found out that they also deliver so I can't wait to take advantage of that!

While this is a well run establishment, I've noticed over the years their deals have gotten worse and worse and now it's just not worth it to make the trek way out there. They removed the good deals they had for delivery items as well so I won't be coming back here.

This place is awesome. I went in on the same day I got my Medical card, accept digital recommendations. They'll hook you up on your first time there. I live down the block, makes my life way easier.

godly...the best dispensary in san francisco bar none.Now...you can read my review of Good Fellas and I stand by them as well..I love those guys. this place is on a whole other scale. They deliver...this alone is just a core piece of why this place is great.The care package you get with each delivery is thoughtful and always different, the people are knowledgeable, kind, considerate and above all..HONEST.Both times i've used the service it didn't feel awkward or hurried.  The guys that came to the house were polite and cool as hell. Green Cross is fantastic.

This place has the best prices for 1/8ths the sungrown is 25 and the indoor is 35 still both get the job done. I bought some cherry og I was stoned for hours. You gotta come try the buds here I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Professionally run club, the first-timer check-in was very fast and the 2 gals behind the desk were very friendly.  Thanks for the free gifts :-)   The budmasters, Max and Lorenzo were very patient with me and more importantly, were knowledgeable and able to provide me with the strains I wanted based on what I was describing.  The only reason I'm deducting one star is because it was a little hard to hear with the background music.  I like funky music too, but with all the other conversations (customers etc.) it was a bit of a struggle for me to hear.  But, I may be the only one who feels this way, so go with the majority, I guess.

Great presentation and wonderful service. From the moment I set foot in the door at Green Cross, every employee seemed very kind and welcoming. Unique decor and lovely atmosphere, everything is clean and extremely well presented. It wasn't too crowded on the Wednesday afternoon of my first visit here, so my experience was fun and I got to see everything I had my eye on without feeling rushed or guilty. Thanks to Michael who entertained and informed me about everything I wanted to know about their lovely selection of indicas. Thanks to the Green Cross for selling quality buds for a good price, I haven't had access to a good deal in a long time.Great to hear they also offer delivery service, I will have to give it a go soon as well.

It's like walking into an old time penny candy store... But it's candy (excuse me medicine) for adults. The staff here is great and they have so much to choose from. The cannabis capes are awesome. Discrete and fantastic when you aw out and about.

So far, so good.I've been to four dispensaries in my short time with a club card (I've had mine for four months): Apothecarium, Green Door, OrganiCann (oakland), and this place.Apothecarium: For retail experience, knowledge base, and quality. Prices are high. But they weigh in front of you, which I think is pretty classy. The other three places are pre-packaged.Green door: I was short on cash so got the "special," which was GPD at the time, and some shake to keep around in a dry (ahem, broke) spell. It was not impressive and the prices were just as high as the Apoth for nicer stuff. Service was friendly but rushed.OrganiCann sells some really gorgeous flowers, but the woman I worked with at the counter was a little bonkers and didn't know much about the products I asked about. Really nice selection though, if you're ever over there, and decent prices.SO onto the Green Cross. Given the above experiences, this is the best deal if you:- know what you want already, and- aren't a complete bud snob. I just don't KNOW enough about this stuff to complain about the things these reviewers are complaining about, so I can't vouch (for example I have never, to my knowledge, encountered mildewy buds from anywhere, so I don't know what that tastes like but it sounds awful and unlike my GC experience.- you're broke. You can't beat $35 per 1/8 of OG Kush at any of the other places I've mentioned. If you can, please let me know. I'm so there.Both the delivery dudes I've had were really nice, timely, and easy to communicate with. A really great experience so far. I think for convenience, price, and quality, these guys will stay my go-to from now on.THOUGH, their edibles selection leaves something to be desired (more candy please!), and are not nearly as affordable as their flowers. So if you're into edibles in large quantities (I like to get a bunch of hard candies to have around), this isn't the most cost-effective solution. I like the ones from the Apoth better. GC does sell butter, honey, and olive oil (pretty sweet) but MAN are they pricey, probably for their strength and volume, but I'm just assuming.

I've selected the 1 Star rating to make a point.  I have been a long time Green Cross customer spending a six figure dollar amount with them over the years.  Two points need comment:1- Lower priced high THC concentrates are increasingly unavailable.  I am told by staff that genuine attempts are being made to correct what is becoming a long term problem.  I accept the sincerity of the statement. However extremely higher prices for better concentrates is unacceptable and may verge on price gouging not service.2- The radical discrepancy between storefront and delivery menus needs to be corrected.  Different ways of receiving products and different locations may contribute to this lack. However, any company has the ability to adjust an issue like this if it wishes to.Finally, I accept the good will and personal integrity of all of the Green Cross staff I've had contact with and have heart felt and friendly relations with many. However, if these problems are not really handled, I will either reduce or eliminate my Green Cross purchases.  I call upon those who have had similar experiences to add their voices here and to complain directly to the Green Cross.

Had some problems with their delivery service so be wary. Thanks to Kevin the founder and president of the company everything ended up okay.  His quick responds time and impeccable customer service saved the day! Seriously... changed my 1 star rating to 4 star. I won't be using their delivery service but defiantly will be going in to get my flowers. I have to give these people props.  On 2 different occasions I've had problems with carts bought here.  They were different issues, unrelated and nothing to do with TGx.   Both times they replaced them, no questions asked.  Everyone I've ever dealt with here has been super nice and parking is not bad.

This place is really great! The staff was really helpful and know about the stuff they have. The guy who helped me was more than helpful, he gave some really good suggestions. Lots of options to choose from too! It was only my first time there today but I got the Harley Sue, Cherry Pie, Hawaiian Trainwreck, Blue Dream and Gorilla Glue, all very good! I can't wait to go back and try more. The only thing I'm a little sad about is that I think my first timer gift bag I got was supposed to have a preroll in it, I just got the container. Hope this hasn't happened to anyone else! If it's something The Green Cross did on purpose then that's just cold and tempting.

It's time to give credit where credit is due -- Green Cross was one of the first cannabis clubs I joined when I  got my rec 4 years ago. Due to my location and schedule, I wasn't able to continue using their delivery service until recently.  Fast forward to 2014 - add a nice-looking storefront, stock up on a wide selection of sun-grown strains ($25 1/8ths), some high CBD/THC indoor selection and hire staff that are  engaging and helpful.  The result?  A pretty damn good club that gives you no reason to get your buds anywhere else.  If you're into music, GC's got plenty of that in the storefront -- you're gonna wanna dance when you leave their spot a happy customer with some top-shelf buds, at rates that won't leave you choosing whether to get gas or groceries!

These guys raise their prices every other day. $30 mix a lots? Lmao I'll just shop at any other dispensary in the city if I wanted to pay premium price on mixed bud. There's a few good alternative places that aren't outrageously priced within just a few miles. Don't say I didn't warn ya

I love love the green cross , i love comming here because everyone is so friendly . The diffrent selections they have of sativa and indica. Its straight fire!!! Ive been to a bunch of clubs in SF but none compared to the green cross ! Its not too far into SF either . Their super clean inside and i like how everyone looks professional while working. ! Amazing place . !

PLEASE USE CAUTION. My debit card information was allegedly stolen from this place after I used their ATM machine. After I left, it was charged with multiple transactions from multiple marijuana dispensaries. What a coincidence. This is the first time I've used my card in MONTHS and all of a sudden? Poor guy, used my card to buy Burger King too. I'm not mad but I'm not coming back here.

This.is the best place in San Francisco. They have great prices and the largest select of products. They have excellent customer service and the staff is very knowledgeable about their products; expert status. Their Brand of cookies and brownies are fantastic. They're extremely delicious and the price is right, and great effect. I felt safe and comfortable and appreciate it. Their Pax Pod selection is large with reasonable prices. I am extremely pleased with my purchases. And will definitely be coming back to their place. Flower great. Edibles great. Pax Pod grear. Very happy overall. Would highly recommend it to Medical Cannabis patients.

The Green Cross.. Where do I begin ..Ive been a member of the Green Cross for about almost 4 years now and I can honestly say ive never had any complaints with this place. They started out as just a delivery service.. but very recently they opened their own walk in dispensary.Not only do they have great quality of bud.. but they also have a great variety of edibles, hash ect...For delivery their 1/8ths are 40$ (which was just recently raised from 35$) but I honestly cant complain because their quality is definitely worth 40$. However.. if you do go into their walk In dispensary their 1/8ths are only 35$ so if your in the neighborhood and can find parking then you're set.The staff are always very nice and helpful if you have any questions. The delivery men are dressed really nice and professional. Their delivery only takes about and hour to and hour and fifteen minutes which in my opinion is really quick considering the traffic in the city can get a little crazy.Overall I think this placed earned their 5 stars from me for being very efficient and never disappointing me as a customer.

Wow. I just read the response from the owner. No dispensary anywhere is a nonprofit and to even say it sounds crooked. Im tarnishing GCs rep with my review of terrible customer service? And the whole comment about ordering pizza on superbowl sunday...thats cute. Most places adjust staffing accordingly. Dont blame me for this incident, I was a loyal, paying customer ordering DAILY. I was patient and waited longer than the ridiculous hour and fifteen minutes I was usually quoted AND by the time someone responded to my email, I had already walked to another dispensary. Its obvious by the way that incident was handled that GC really doesnt give a damn about its customers and would rather try to blame a paying, loyal customer for their shortcomings.

This is the go to place for sure! Hands down! No ands ifs or buts about it! If you haven't already, you need to check these guys out. Very professional, very friendly, "good vibes" shop, and best of all.... the freakin employees are dope and the best thing out of the whole place! This has become my regular spot just because of them! Oh... let's not forget about prices and quality! Let's just say that's what the fifth star is for!

New price structure $25 (outdoor, sun grown)/$35 (indoor, kinder) is fabulous, and a substantial discount over what were already very attractive price points.One thing that is particularly notable is their flowers are always properly dried, and they weigh very generously.  I recently bought a 1/100th gram scale, upon surmising that a competitor was selling product that didn't match the stated weight, and the portions are always on point and above at Green Cross. Conversely, the flowers of a well-known competitor of theirs always looks fantastic, but wait a few weeks, once it's dried more fully, and its weight drops to 2.0 - 2.5 grams per 1/8th.  So embrace their properly dried bud, even if it may not look as tasty to those drawn to moist, fluffy, verdant buds.  Flavor is always solid, rivaling big fluffy flowers.  If you want big, bouncy buds, throw a piece of orange peel in your mason jar for a few hours, and watch them fluff up like a magic monkey.The service is always fantastic.  I once complained of a minor issue, and Kevin wrote me a thoughtful personal note, and made everything good and beyond, even though I wasn't asking for any accommodation.In sum, this is now my go-to spot, even though it's a good 30 minute drive.  It's worth it for the eminently solid, trustworthy service and product.On the constructive front (not a criticism), would love to see some more SG indicas and indica-dominant hybrids, as the recent menus have been weighted in favor of sativas, which I suspect is a consequence of what's currently available and what the market is favoring.  Also, some labeling in terms of what the staff finds in their experience to be the best medicine for particular conditions, as strains seem to very and bare numbers do not tell all.

I come here for the Sun Grown selection mostly but will occasionally splurge on their top shelf flowers and they do not disappoint. Edibles and concentrates are worth the price as well though I have yet to try all the different kinds. I believe there is a 20$ for 3 edible deal which is awesome for the tasty treats and there is quite a selection on edible medicine and I think I have seen topical remedies.Once you have filled out the paper work for this club you only need California I.D to come inside! Only dispensary I have been to like this. They close at 7 but that makes sense considering that I sometimes seek parking outside of someone's home, which might become problematic if they were open as late as other dispensaries that are downtown or next to restaurants.

Best club in the city! Friendly staff and great prices!! 8ths are 5$ cheaper if you go into the store and can actually see and smell your product so I recommended going into the store.

It seems that the delivery times a bit on the slow side and very inconsistent  these days.  Crappy...I waited for 2 hours one day and 30 minutes the next.  The only good thing about "The Green Cross" is the price.  Why would you offer a "medical service" and them jerk them around.  Thats not service.I would suggest not to bring your business here.

Not only do they get it right every time with the quality of their cannabis, but also employ some of the most genuinely kind people to both receive order and deliver them. I'm ever impressed with Green Cross. They also give you awesome swag as a new member, which was the cherry on the sundae because I was not expecting it! I'm breaking the cycle.I used The Green Cross almost exclusively for about a year (I've been a patient with them for 2 years). The reason was because I was extremely busy with school at the time and just didn't have the time or money to go to a decent dispensary to pick up, so The Green Cross Delivery made my life much easier. Now that I'm done with school and have more time to do proper weed shopping, I realize that The Green Cross is not for me anymore.It began about a month ago, when I read a review on this very website by a new member who believed that all 3 of the buds he purchased from The Green Cross were tumbled (shaken to get most of the crystals off to sell as keif). Then it hit me: he's right, the nugs from The Green Cross are not as sparkly as sticky as most dispensary weed. For a while, I even thought I had reached a new peak of tolerance because I wasn't getting as high for a long time. This would also explain why the keif-catcher in my grinder had baaaaarely been collecting anything for a long time.Ironically, this is right when The Green Cross began selling $5 mini-microscopes on their website, so I purchased one to see my buds up close. The scope is excellent, I'd recommend it to anyone, but the buds from The Green Cross have little to no sparkle. I would have friends over and have them examine a sample from The Green Cross and Grass Roots under the scope, and it was unanimously assessed that Green Cross' buds are not as rich in trichromes. I contacted the owner about this concern of mine, and he assured me that The Green Cross does not tumble their buds. If he's telling the truth-- which I believe he is-- then it's very possible that the vendors they purchase from are tumbling for keif.I've realized that The Green Cross is the McDonald's of SF dispensaries; low cost, low quality, high convenience, and mainstream appeal. I also don't care for single-pricing in marijuana sales, because it will never exceed a certain quality level for the price (but they'll sell lower-quality buds for that same price too).I encourage everyone to take the Pepsi challenge with my words: order some buds and a scope from The Green Cross, and compare them to buds from basically anywhere else. I have found it is worth taking the time to pay the extra $5 to $10 per eighth anywhere else to get my desired effect.SUMMARY:If you use cannabis just to get high, this is your dispensary. If you're looking for a specific effect to treat a specific symptom (you know, like MEDICINE), then I would recommend avoiding this dispensary. There are MANY other delivery services in the Bay Area that are of better quality (contact me for a list of over 20 other delivery services).As far as their service, friendliness, and professionalism, The Green Cross is an excellent dispensary. People expect Great service from MCD's now a days and you can tell the staff here cares about the patients that come in. I mean how many clubs do you know of that allow a Girl Scout to sell her cookies out front or a lady to sell her See's candies? Not many I'm sure. I think the quality of the meds is the best in the city and the atmosphere inside is like no other club I've seen! It's like a Dr. Seuss art gallery with cannabis infused everything, they got 4 budtenders ready to rock at all times. So grab a number and get ready for some fun. The Green Cross Delivery Service is just as good if not better at patient services I believe. Feels a bit more personal... Like a friend/family  that's  coming over with meds. You basically know it's the safest way to get medicine in other words. The wait time on your order is usually within the hour. So relax and enjoy San Francisco!

This dispensary is as good as it gets in San Francisco. They almost always seem to have a good variety of good quality Sun Grown m. for $25 1/8. They also usually have other popular strains like Jack Herrer and Sour Diesel available for $35 1/8. They also test their medicine which is very important, and the tenders wear gloves.The bud-tenders are nice and helpful and friendly, the place is clean and professional, the location is safe and parking is excellent!What more can you ask of a medical marijuana club? (I just wish they wouldn't raise their prices every once in awhile! )

One of the best as far a delivery dispenserys in the city are concerned. High quality meds delivered right to your door. Wide choice of all types of meds, concentrates, edibles, flowers, ect, to suit a variety of patients.  Took a star away because the delivery time is pretty long sometimes but good things come to those that wait. And I know the delivery time before hand so I know what I am getting into. The mix-a-lot is totally worth it in my book. That's my go to when it's in stock. Totally recommend this place!

I am completely appalled by the management here. I have met street level drug dealers with better customer service skills. I would like to share an email I sent (in which I never received a response) after being banned from their Facebook page for asking a basic question regarding the wording of a post they posted. This after 3+ years of loyal patronage equaling out to thousands in profits for this company. I am so glad to have found three other delivery services with comparative pricing and selections. Please find a dispensary that values your dollar as much as you do.Following is the email (which never received a response):I just want to.start out by saying I have been a very loyal customer to your business since you started your operation,spending my hard earned money exclusively with your company for nearly 3 years. About Haloween time a special was posted on your Facebook page (a public forum for you to interact with your customers) written very confusingly. I asked a question in the comments section about the way it was written because I had just called and placed an order that the special would have applied to but wasn't offered said special at time I placed order. I didn't use profanity,I didn't make any threats about it,I simply asked a question about a cryptically written post on your PUBLIC Facebook Page. I have spent A LOT of money with your company as well as referred tons of friends. How embarassing after posting a very cool,calm,collected comment on a public forum to get a phone call from an employee of said company saying "yeah,we're gonna have to ban you from commenting on our Facebook page anymore. Our boss really doesn't like it when people do that." Do WHAT?! Ask questions on something posted on your public forum?! What a joke! Also, what an immature,unprofessional way to run a business! I am literally appalled. This place is awesome! Very professional, polite and organized! I went in and was treated with kindness the moment I opened the door. I recommend Steve who works there! Great personality and he didn't rush me and explained everything to me. I will definitely be coming back to this place. They also give you a goodie back when you become a member, which is really cool.

The Green Cross sets the bar high as many other places I have tried have high prices, low quality bud, bad service or worse, all of those . They have a very friendly & knowledgeable staff, good selection of everything from edibles to kief to lotion (really?), great herb, low prices AND they deliver?! Perfect. Keep it up.

Cannabis is a beautiful thing and I expect the way I get it to be just the same. Green Cross is pretty beautiful when it comes to their bud and service alike. The freebies to their loyal customers? *swoon* beautiful.

I loved their store at 22nd & Guerrero. Got their t-shirts.Then, I tried their delivery/pick up service.I'm not sold on all these 5 star reviews -- in exchange for a t-shirt.Their pick up service is convenient, indeed. However, I can't give away my hard earned cash for mere convenience. The quality of their bud is average at best.I've tried and re-tried. I'm a connoiseur of meds. A private grower.I now spend the extra 20 minutes, park, and walk to Divinty Tree and the Grass Roots to get more consistenly potent high quality meds.Terrific service. I've actually returned some low quality bud. But that was my last time.I know they're involved with the Bay Area Cannabis Cup, but based on quality alone,  two stars, only in a pinch.

Me and my husband had an excellent time going to this club. It'd beautiful the medicine was potent. The service was amazing from front desk to the bud tender's. They made sure you left with everything you may need. Prices were reasonable. Have yet to try there delivery service but all in all the walk in experience was amazing and friendly.

I love The Green Cross!!!! My name's Alexis and I always order from here!!! The first time I did, they sent a new patient package filled with goodies like a brand new GC Jar!!! A magnifying light to get a sweeter view of my strains, rolling papers, grinder, joint rolling kit to help roll j's. There's more I can't think of!!!          So Wonderful!! Also they always have sales whether it's on the pre-rolls, or different random strains, I just purchased Blue Dreams 8th for 25 dollars!!! Very Grateful that Green Cross delivers, and beyond that, they literally treat their regular customers with edibles thrown in for free!!! Always a fruit snack in the bag as well :D ! For as long as I am living in San Francisco, I will always order from here, especially since they send the buds in to be tested for potency instead of believing whatever the seller says. AND! They deliver anywhere in SF! Purrrrrrfect !!_!!

WARNING:  WEAK EDIBLES and TUMBLED BUDIf you inspect the buds sold here there isn't any kief or crystal on their product.  They are without a doubt tumbling the kief to make extra money selling it separately.  At first look you think you are looking at nice buds, but if you look closer, there is nothing on them.  Marijuana of this grade should have heavy crystal.  Yet, they are charging as though they are selling top shelf product.  If you think you are saving because they sell a little cheaper than the competition, trust me it takes much more of their dried out product to do the trick.  De-kiefing is sketchy and rare on the street, but to do it and present a medical grade product is unacceptable. The edibles here are the weakest I have ever eaten, and I am very sensitive to edibles and generally have to be careful and start slow.  I can eat one of their giant cookies and feel nothing.  They might throw in freebies like edibles, but they are really just plain cookies tinted with ganja.It is too bad as their delivery is likely serving some of the most in need people in the city and really just ripping them off.

Great pricing, amazing selection, and very helpful and professional staff. Very clean, upscale decor with lots of security. Online store menu is kept up to date and accurate. The best place on the peninsula to get your meds.

Hm... I came here to write a review and noticed some drastically low scores. But then again, the people who posted those don't have any other Yelp reviews? Those reviews might as well not exist since the Green Cross is obviously top-notch.Anyway, I love this place. The edibles have to be my favorite - more specifically, the blueberry cookies. YUM!! I've had edibles from other places, but GC edibles have the best taste, quality and potency. I can eat one cookie and be good for several hours. I'm quite the lazy person when I get home from work, and having a place that delivers is just the cherry on top. They are quick, professional and always seem to be sharply dressed. David has delivered to me on several occasions and is awesome. I do have to point out something that "Blazed M." brought up. Blazed M. - according to you, GC is advertising astoundingly false percentages of THC. I really find that hard to believe. The strains are brought in from their growers and are sent to be tested. I doubt they would try inflating those percentages, especially being so transparent about their services as they are. Go hate somewhere else, please.

However, I would like to restate that this review is in reference to geen cross's mission street storefront, and that all of my statements in the review were accurate as of my last visit in early may of 2015. At the time of my last visit they had a refillable plugin air freshener in their front lobby. The specific visit when I experienced the disrespectful comments from a green cross budtender was on 4/20/15, and your budtender was frustrated that the questions I had about medical use and viability of different strains for specific medical purposes was slowing down the pace of the sale during a 4/20 rush. this was no excuse to treat a patient in this manner. It is not my wish or intention to harm Green Cross's business. I simply want serious medical marijuana patients and especially those with compromised immune systems or anxiety to know that this is not a business that will meet their requirements as patients.#420JUSTICEI'd like to preface this by letting you all know that The Green Cross dispensary located at 4218 mission street had my review removed under false pretenses, and apparently does not respect disabled patients or their right to freedom of speech. I used this as my main dispensary for about four months out of convenience of the location, but I was often disappointed by uneven flower quality and the service that I received from their budtenders. green cross does sometimes stock very nice quality flowers, but most of their stock is very dry low end chemical tasting weed that ends up sitting in the same jar for weeks to months as no one is willing to buy it. their pre-rolls are the worst I have ever experienced, burning black smoke and ash with constant sparks exploding in my face. often all of their bud jars have the same strange stale aroma, like they don't always get their jars fresh before restocking with a new strain. they keep the interior very dark like a bar and use huge amounts of chemical air fresheners so you cant smell or see accurately to determine the quality of their buds. Even with all of these problems, I still got good flowers occasionally and they were generally chill about exchanging eighths that were not medically viable. I kept using this place for its location and customer parking. what eventually stopped me from using this place was the budtenders. Their budtenders were generally unhelpful in recommending strains for specific medical problems, and usually couldn't even recommend something for pain relief. they never knew the genetics of the strains they were selling. One time I complained about the last eighth I bought being hermaphrodite buds because it could mess with my medical grow at home, and while measuring out my eighth the bud tender specifically put a large yellow pollen sac from his pile of discarded stems into my bag. But my biggest problem is that their budtenders were extremely disrespectful about my health problems. One time when asking a female budtender for a strain that might be effective for pain relief in the back and hips, she responded with the statement "I don't have any body issues and I don't usually deal with people who have body issues so you should probably figure it out yourself." this was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. if a bud tender has no customer service skills, knowledge of the product they are selling, and particularly for a dispensary, is unable to be at all respectful or tactful when dealing with a disabled patient, then that person has no business working at a dispensary.

Simply put, the Green Cross is awesome. Seriously, I don't think it gets much better than this, except maybe Amsterdam. Prices are extremely competitive and the staff is uniformly friendly and professional. Kudos!

Delivery option is the only thing this place has going for it. I finally weened myself off of this convenience. Green cross needs a NO TRICHOME LEFT BEHIND policy to encourage better handling. I wouldn't be surprised to find they kief the flowers - they never look as frosty as other dispensaries' and I hardly feel medicated after. They used to give free edibles before 2 pm, but now it's the first order of the day (lol).If you're unable to leave your home, I recommend finding a friend to pick up some flowers for you at another dispensary.Update: I am fully aware of the return policy; I have had to use it in the past. It's just too inconvenient. Yelpers, I no longer frequent this business for the reasons listed above in my review. Regarding the paranoia about anther person posting a similar review "within 20 minutes" of mine - there's no conspiracy here. Maybe the problem isn't the inconvenient reviews... Regardless, glad to see GC is reading this review - maybe it will prove helpful in the end.

I'm updating my review on account of their new fabulous set up. I visited the store yesterday (I mostly do delivery) and the store looks absolutely fantastic! They have everything pre-packaged which makes the line move along so much faster. The guy at the counter explained to me that new State regulations require them to have everything pre-packaged so come 2018 every club will be doing it. From my end I absolutely love it! Things move along so much quicker, and you can still see the bud, it's displayed in front of you with a magnifying glass to each bud. Super elegant, amazing set up and like always SUPER PROFESSIONAL!!! Love you guys!!!

This review is based on a purchase I made on Jan 21 2010 so I am going to tell you exactly how it is these days. They are not a store , they used to be a store before. Now they are only a delivery service. -1 star because their menu is online and you have to call them and you have to choose your bud looking at online photos, it sucks that you can't smell your bud or touch it, I mean it's part of the excitement of buying weed, getting to see and touch different kinds of weed.Other than that, they have high quality buds for the best prices in San Francisco. 50$ for an eighth of high quality buds like grandaddy purple. That's a real plus! Great strains here . Delivery is also always on time .

The reviews say it all: Green Cross is all about professionalism and quality in both product and service. Their website/menu continues to improve, and the ability to browse pictures, descriptions and pricing from the comfort of your home, place a phone order, and receive the goods within the hour is simply amazing. As if that wasn't good enough, they offer the option of paying by debit card, which is especially useful for someone like me who rarely has much cash on hand. They're almost always prompt, and most of the time, they go straight to my door (in an apt complex, 4th floor) - only time they don't is when they simply cannot find parking. If you're around 10th and harrison (across from costco), and you want an in person pickup, they'll come out to you and deliver the goods. I've had nothing but pleasant customer service over the phone and in person. I really can't think of a single complaint.

Oh. I forgot to say....The Green Cross doesn't have a walk-in location. They are delivery only. They also only accept your order with proof of a Doctor recommendation and a copy of your California State I.D. Since I went from the doctor to shopping where my stuff was delivered and never went home to scan or fax the documents, I literally just took a picture of them with my phone and uploaded it to their site that way. How freaking awesome is that? Shout out to Mytouch Droid, too. So much better than my iPhone ever was!

This place is my first place that I have gone to. Everyone is super friendly helpful and Alejandro the guy behind the counter was super cool in explaining stuff to me. I recommend this place! The girl in the front really  nice and awesome customer service. I loved my experienced I am so going back!

I've been a regular customer for four years. Here's seven good reasons 1. Flat- rate pricing. You can freely mix and match and there's no BOGO, or "daily special", or free 1/8 when you buy 10 card BS. You pick what you like.  2. No schwag. Fresh tasty edibles.  3. Super employees. I'm old enough to be their dad but they're great "kids". The delivery service works well but it's fun to walk over to the store. 4. Great prices! Lower than everywhere else. 5. Never pre-bagged -they weigh it in front of you after you've picked what you want. 6. Wide variety of products. Anything cannabis related they have it. 7. Nice store, convenient location. Green Cross is great and they keep getting better.

I tell people about The Green Cross, and they're in disbelief. "You get it delivered?!" pretty much conveys the shocked incredulity that comes from my explanation of this business' M.O. Gone are the days (for me) of not knowing what to do when I run out of medicine. There is nothing better than the ability to call a number, place an order for what you need, and get it delivered to you in a timely fashion, legally and professionally. I love placing orders midway during my *eh-*hem lovely Muni commute home and having it arrive within 20-30 minutes after I get home. It's sooo convenient! I've been to a few shady dispensaries in SF which come close to resembling the Mos Eisley cantina. There have been no arms sliced off with lightsabers, but there are always a few Greedos and Twi'leks lurking about in them, if you get my drift. No more! On a recent trip to Los Angeles, I had the chance of getting a medical marijuana evaluation.  Once arriving back in the Bay, I took to Yelp to find a marijuana dispensary.  After reading a few reviews, I decided to either go to Grass Roots or try The Green Cross.  The Green Cross seemed more convenient; you can browse their on-line catalog and order over the phone.I began the process by faxing in my doctor's recommendation and within ten minutes I got a phone call from one of their employees.  They verified my evaluation and I was clear to order.  I ordered three chocolate chip cookies and their hot chocolate.  Within an hour, the delivery man was at my door bringing the goods! I couldn't believe the quick and professional service. He brought a portable scanner and scanned my ID because it didn't come in clear through the fax.  He also brought his debit/credit machine since they don't accept cash (smart). The goodie bag included my cookies and hot chocolate and a bunch of free goods.  The Green Cross included a welcome packet, information on the different strains, a weed jar, stickers, a pin, and a lighter all embroidered with their logo.My first impression? The cookies are delicious, but super potent. I've never been big on marijuana, but I'm trying to switch from alcohol to marijuana.  As I slowly ate my cookie, I ate half of it and didn't feel anything after waiting about 90 minutes.  I decided to eat the other half which was a huge mistake.  The cookie eventually kicked in and I was high for a day and a half.  I learned my lesson.  Great products, great service, professional business. You've earned my business for good.  There's no reason to try any other dispensary in San Francisco.  Thank you Green Cross.

Got my card this afternoon and The Green Cross was in front of my apartment within the hour. The person on the phone was the nicest I have dealt with in a long time in any walk of business. Extremely helpful and did not rush me what so ever. The prices seem great but what do I know Im from New York. The 1/8 I got was straight, with some killer dense buds. Hash is top notch as well. I still cant believe it was this simple. If you are new to medical marijuana this is the place to go for sure. Never made me feel nervous or uneasy.Thanks to everyone for the previous reviews that helped me find this gem. I'll never look at smart cars the same way.Edit: I found something I dont like about the GC. The selection is too big, haha. I find myself seeing something new everyday that I feel I need. Sour Diesel, Trainwreck, OG Kush, amongst many others. Not to mention the specials that pop up on a daily basis.

I seriously appreciate a business that is willing to deliver their wares! The staff has been nothing but helpful to me. I thought it was super nice that along with my first purchase, I got a little goodie bag that included a chocolate peanut butter cookie! :) So far, I'm impressed! Very professional and clean:) upon signing up, you get a bag with a ton of goodies and info and also a 50mg edible! Vegan versions available as well, and even was an option to state diet needs when signing up! This made me especially happy, since I am vegan:) they have tons of employees so if one person doesn't know an answer, they definitely have someone who will! They had a few grams of rosin, which is awesome, solventless is best! Highly reccomend this collective:)

I always love ordering from the Green Cross. Every time I call the people are so friendly. I have never had a bad experience and I order quite often. Last night I ordered 6 edibles for 40$ and the guy on the phone was so helpful and friendly he even threw in an extra edible for free. I have been strapped for cash lately so this meant a lot to me. Thanks Green Cross!On top of everything I got some good tips from the guy who helped me on the phone. He recommended me to order a special strain they just got in- and it is amazing. Also he recommended me to take the fruity crispy treats I ordered and break them up in my cereal for a morning snack- which is one of the best things ever.Can't say it enough but this is probably the highest quality product and nicest staff than any other dispensary in SF.

This place has been one of my two favorite Cannabis clubs of choice for years, and they have never disappointed me.I have cut back alot in the past few months, but make no mistake about it, I was a class A licensed card-holding smoke machine for a long time. I could right a book about all the great experiences and product this place has dished out to me, but I'll keep it brief so you can get to order your ounce from these dudes.Five stars for being a bold. socially-conscious cannabis DELIVERY service. Don't worry, your bud comes in an indescriminant brown bag, so its all good.Five more stars for chill ass delivery guys and a chill owner. This place has gotten crazy press coverage, and the owner handles that well. The delivery people remember you and don't treat you like shit, they treat you like part of the stoner subculture. Ain't that the way it should be.Most importantly, 5000 green stars for their product. The menu is online, and comes with pictures and usually pretty good descriptions of the specifications of different strands. There's always a lot of different bud to choose from so you can always find just what your personal favorite is. They have some of the most unusual strands of bud (I've had Black Magic, which is actually black weed) as well as some classics (PurpleUrkle, Train Wreck, Romulan... did I mention Train Wreck?). You have to buy a quarter ounce or pay some delivery fee, but you SHOULD by a quarter ounce. I've turned to this club hundreds and hundreds of times, and their product is unprecedented. Green cross is my best bud.

Sometimes their prices are too high but you gotta check for the deals.  High quality edibles.  The krispy treats are yummy but cheddar cheese trail mix seems much stronger.  Pre-rolls and Blue Deliah are now on sale, big thumbs up.  Friendly staff and awesome website.  I love Green Cross.  6 stars.

Ten stars if I could.The Green Cross is awesome. Friendly staff, great service, and a great selection - some of the best in the area. Every day prices are great, and the specials are even better!You also have to love the personal service you get there. I've been a regular member of the Green Cross for almost two years now and every day of it has gotten better and better. The staff knows me on a first name basis. They make recommendations based on what they know I like and have liked in the past. They remind me when something I liked comes back into stock without me even asking. That's pretty phenomenal if you ask me. I feel like not only a member and customer, but a friend.

I know a lot of people love these guys and there is good reason for that.  They do a lot of things right and if you don't care about certain strains or care about quality, then this will be right up your alley.  That sounds harsh but read on.   First off, I live in Marin, so if what I get sucks, I can't just call them and have them zip by my house to exchange it for something better.  I'm pretty much stuck with what I buy.  With that in mind, I have tried buying from the Green Cross many times so I'm not just making stuff up.  I even edited this after I got a message from the owner who is very nice, but I don't think he liked only getting 3 stars. ( That's not horrible, it even says A-OK next to it when you rate it.)  O.k., now to back up my 3 stars.To me, going to The Green Cross has been like playing the lottery.  You never know if they are going to bring you good quality or not so good quality medicine, even the indoor stuff.The first time I bought from them, I got 8 different kinds organic not knowing that meant outdoor and they were all brown and like hay.  I ended up throwing it away it was so awful, all 8 bags went bad.  I'm sure things have changed but to be honest, I've never ever even thought of buying outdoor again after that. The next time I bought from them I got an ounce of awesome Blue Dream, indoor of course. 3rd time I bought kinda midgrade Blue Dream and was a bit disappointed, wasn't like the time before. Just O.K. indoor grow.  The last couple of times I got some Killer indoor  purple erkle and am now afraid to try anything else from them. I'm a quality over quantity type of person and will always spend the extra $$$ to get some superb medical grade stuff but I would use them if I was low on cash.  With that being said, let me just say that no one, and I mean no one has their prices this low for the A+++ stuff when you can find it. You can get $200 outdoor ounces elsewhere.   Now The Green Cross does do an awesome job with the deliveries, helping over the phone, and the people are very friendly.  That's a definite plus.  Pretty much, everything is done right except for the fact that I have had inconsistent luck getting great "TOP SHELF" meds.  They  usually always  have at least 1 or 2 strains that are  A+ quality.  The only problem is that they don't really differentiate  between the good and the lower quality herb so it can be hard to know which is A+..  (don't use the pictures to judge because there are different batches which all look different .  Ask the people on the phone what has been popular and what people have been coming back for)I'd have to say I've had most of my good luck with their indoor purple erkle strain.   Also, I forgot to mention they have good selection of hash but again, it's hard to know which ones to get.Overall, I only use these guys if money is a problem. I so wish I liked them more, I really do. Would save me a fortune.  If you are a quality over quantity type of person, then go elsewhere.  If bud is just bud to you, then you've found the perfect dispensary.

Going for over a year strong now, the Green Cross is the one stop dispensary for all your bud needs. They've tightened up their clientele recently, forcing everyone with 'on-the-fence' prescriptions to get a uniform recommendation, but I can understand that. As a Californian with chronic pain and mobility problems (see my picture up there for an explanation) I am fortunate to have the right - thanks to the initiative process - to purchase legal medical cannabis.  As a resident of the city of San Francisco, I am even more fortunate to have the Green Cross available to me.These guys are quick, efficient, and friendly; and they offer a stunning range of medicine and medicinal foods.  I've found them to also be very knowledgeable concerning the effects of the different strains they offer as well, which is a huge bonus if you're looking for something specific - like pain relief, anti-anxiety, appetite stimulation, and so forth.Prices are generally on par with or a little better than the other dispensaries I've been to, though once you consider the free delivery aspect, they're actually rather low.  Oh, and they take credit cards, which is another huge plus.Hurray for the Green Cross!

I stopped in for some strong sativa and the guy who helped me suggested the "sir mix-a-lot". I saved about $10 and it was well worth it. my tolerance is low so an 8th will last me for a month if i took a hit every day. the green cross is the only dispensary i go to, its really clean and they have tight security. thats all i have to say about that.

The green cross is on my top list of clubs in SF. The selection is always great and the people who work there are always super nice and helpful. When I order, i look forward to speaking to their staff and receiving what I ordered. For the amount of work they do to make sure we get great customer service and products, they are also not pricy at all.On the days when you cant get to a club, or just want more help than the usual club gives, its great to have this place as a choice.

What to say about green cross...it is nothing short of a prop 215 patient oasis with all the grade A+ cannabis and the friendly staff. Their delivery service is top-notch, professional, and timely. Once they have your medical information, you simply call them up, place an order, and it will be delivered within the hour. The individual who comes to your door looks like a care provider, is dressed nicely, and the plain white bags your medicine comes in looks very RX-like. There is even a menu inside along with physicians warnings for using your cannabis. Lastly, they carry debit card readers, making transactions easier and more professional.Their various strains of marijuana on their website, while about twice as expensive as most of the other dispensaries in SF, are very high quality. Their online menu is updated frequently and the products are packaged professionally with clear labels indicating your chosen medication. The different hybrids with the percentage of each strain is awesome. This allows even the laymen to pick the right medicine for their diagnosis. Most of their edibles are of a medium-level potency; which I feel is nice to be able to judge the correct dosage. The best part is that each of the edibles actually taste REALLY good. There is a slight hint of cannabis in most of them, but the fantastic flavor of the brownies, cookies, PB cups, and rice crispy treats completely overrides the cannabis flavor, rather than the other way around as you find in most edibles. It almost makes them a bit dangerous because the taste so good, you want to each another just for the flavor.I've ordered from four other dispensaries in SF, and this is by far the highest quality of them all. I'd put The Vapor Room on Haight second on the list if you like to pick up your cannabis yourself; and then The Green Door on Howard as third due to their products being very STRONG.

Well I had visions of the stereo-typical dealer when I heard this place only delivers. I was wrong. Very professional and even drove a smart car. My first order was a month ago. They only deliver within San Francisco, but if you're feeling too lazy to pick up, this is the next best thing. Too bad they started to charge tax now.

Location: Great, in the mission, street parking around (even a dedicated spot out front). Interior: Modern, marble floors, black paint, HD TV's (picture a club bar....only with cannabis). Staff: Wonderful, lovely, humble, helpful. Always welcoming questions/ suggestions. Product: Great all around, amazing prices for 1/8ths ($30 as of 7/12/13...hope that stays), edibles are stronger and tastier than before, bud is diverse and non price specific. Only thing I wish was a few more deals, maybe some more options, but beyond that I have to commend The Green Cross for not only being one of the first delivery services in SF, but now having one of the most fun clubs I have been to in a long time.

I've never been, but I've heard that they have a fabulous assortment of medicinal mj for good prices, along with delicious baked goods.  If you suffer from glaucoma like the rest of San Francisco (must be something in the water), re-fill your perscription here!

Green Cross's prices are unbeatable, especially considering the quality is of their products are comparable to the $50+ products other clubs offer. The location is great and parking, considering they are on Mission, is pretty good, too. Although I'd love for them to offer different increments to purchase, the way they do business is just fine. Make sure to support the local SF growers, they got the kill!!

For the most part, The Green Cross has been good to me in terms of customer service and what not, but today's experience was by far the worst. I was told my delivery would arrive around in an hour and 15 minutes because they were having a rush, which is understandable. An hour and a half later my driver still hasn't arrived and I was late for work so I called to inquire when he would be arriving, they informed me again about the rush and apologized and sent the driver my way saying it would be another 5-10 minutes, it took him 20. He arrived and there was no apology, just greeted me, scanned my renewed prescription, and handed me the merchandise and left. I don't know if The Green Cross stopped providing snacks but there wasn't one in mine. Also in previous instances when they were late even by 10 minutes I would occasionally receive a complimentary edible (which aren't that potent but it's the thought that counts yeah?). In the past I was charged a fee of $5 or $10 (forgot which one) for having gone to the ATM and the driver had arrived early and I was literally one block away.I guess customer service is no longer a priority for this dispensary.

I've been a Green Cross member for almost 3 years now. Their delivery service was not my favorite in terms of timeliness and convenience (I'd drive from San Mateo to get delivery in their delivery area). Ive been a loyal customer for years. Flowers, perfect. You name it. But that one security guard, you know who you are. Next time you want to enforce your "authority" go ahead and check your information or assumptions. I understand, that there's a problem with your neighbors complaining about misuse of parking. But, that car was parked at a LEGAL parking spot. So you, making me walk back and forth, that's a problem. Green cross, check your security cause that boy is wack af and you'll be losing customers.

This place is still my favorite dispensary in the city!! Since my last yelp I've checked out 3 other popular clubs and some were great but just couldn't match the level of excellence, quality, & compassion I receive from the green cross. They also recently stopped the edible program before 2p but there's always ways to get hookd up just check the website. The only con I have is that sometimes the pics aren't up for a couple of days on some new buds & sometimes the buds make look like a different batch besides that, this is my favorite club in the city and personally I think the best!!!Keep up the good work Green Cross family I love you guys!!!!

Prepare yourself for an extensive account of my experience with TGC...I've always meant to check this place out and I've been stalking their menu since i moved to sf 3 months ago, but i just never got around to getting validated and stuff!! I'm soo glad I did though!!!! It was super easy all I had to do was email them a copy of my recommendation and driver's license which I did at like 1 in the morning for whatever reason and the next morning i got a wake up call by a dude whose name I'm kind of blanking on at the moment, i keep wanting to say it's albie or lionel but i think it's anthony... anyway, he was super nice and really helpful too because i was debating between my all time favorite ---headband, and sf ice but when i mentioned that some hybrids make me fall asleep he suggest the orig jack herer which smells and tastes sooooooooo good!!! they also included a bunch of free goodies and a granola bar and fruit snacks which is a nice touch cuz i get kinda hungry sometimes!!!!! they forgot my scale with my order though, which was kind of annoying at first because i was really looking forward to weighing random things i've always wanted to know the weight of (a lighter...a dime...two drops of hand sanitizer..etc.) before my class at 1 but the delivery dude said someone would come back with my scale and "albie/lionel/anthony" said they'd throw in a free edible!!! awwwww how thoughtful!!!! I'm not really into outdoor stuff but for less than $40 an eighth it's kind of an offer i can't refuse...... hmmm what else, what else...overall i'd say i had a pretty awesome experience at the green cross...they remind me of something...something from my past...they remind me of a better time...or hope for a better future.... regardless, this is what getting medication should be like and if ur on the fence about whether or not to check them out, i'd recommend jumping down from that fence and into the arms of The Green  Cross...

This place is one of the better dispensaries i've been to. They have some polite bud tenders and give free samples of edibles. New members get a goody bag with a few things inside. There is a pretty wide variety of strains and when I went there was a $30 1/8 special for ALL strains, it was pretty awesome. They also bake all their own edibles- which are delicious but a little pricey.   It took a little while for registration, they are really picky with the recommendations and paper work. I got the feeling of them not wanting me there up until everything was verified, afterwards everything was cool and they were super friendly.I will definitely be returning here!

For more than a year, I have had no reason to go anywhere else.  I do not live in San Francisco and their delivery service does not deliver outside of S.F., but arranging a convenient rendezvous location (SOMA for me) is simple.  After placing my order earlier by phone, I call them again when I reach our spot and I have never had to wait more than about 15 minutes and they come directly to my car.  Delivery folks are always neat, organized and polite.  Materials are well packaged and clearly labeled.  Once (and only once) I bought a gram of hash and it turned out to be only about 0.75 grams.  I let it slide but I did check the weights for a while and it was all good, so I figured the shortage was due to whatever and forgivable, since they have always otherwise been great to me.  They have pictures of the strains they sell online, but I'm no expert and it all looks pretty much the same to me.  Others will get more out of the pictures than I do, especially those who are more familiar with the strain names and have knowledge of what's good and what's not as good.  None of it is bad and they recently upped the dosage strength of their Incredible Edibles, which are, well, incredible.I do not have experience with other dispensaries but I am fairly certain that prices at the Green Cross are competitive for the area.  When you combine the value of their clearly evident customer care and service, there's no reason for me to go somewhere else for my stuff, like I said.

The buds are cheap, $35 for an eighth before 5pm so if you're on a budget it's a good bet. The quality is hit or miss. Enjoyed their Mad Science strain but isn't in stock very often. I've ordered from here four times and twice the driver has taken 2+ hours to arrive though so not worth it for me. Also cash only.

Green Cross runs out of sativas quick so check often but my list of favorites include SF Sour Diesel, Dragon's Breath, Super Silver Haze at $140/half. Their purples are always good, Fire OG, Romulan. I've gotten some wicked random stuff from here that was mind blowing like Purple Chemdog. All the weed is priced equally. So much easier. I personally can't and don't want to pay more than $35/eighth. They also are one of the only delivery services that has been able to verify my address in California. Others won't accept you without a CA ID, which I don't have right now. If you just moved here or lost your CA ID, it doesn't mean you can't be a patient, it just limits your selection because some places don't want to deal with ID issues. So, yeah, I'm very lucky to have The Green Cross.My review is based on smoking a variety of nuggets from these guys for almost two years, perhaps thousands of times, so I gotta toss in my wisdom about TGC and nuggets in general. Okay, if someone says a nugget doesn't look good or have enough crystals etc. they may be making a sound judgement of those qualities based on experiencing them in higher degrees. For example, my bag of Dispensary A's Sour Diesel might smell stronger than your bag of TGC's Fire OG, it may have far more pistils in it, has larger overall nuggets, more dense than mine, etc. Understanding these finer points enhances our experience of the product itself. In some ways, many of us don't mind sacrificing one quality for another. I may choose the more purple nugget which smells like candy over the orange nugget which smells like pine. These qualities are important because they allow us to choose which nuggets we want for smoke and helps us create more effective medicine in the future. Over-exaggerating the qualities of nuggets can do the opposite however, and render your evaluation less effective. If qualities occurs in the highest degree, for example, very frosty nuggets, covered in trichomes, have proven to be a less potent smoke than others. This is because of a variety of reasons including genetics and growing technique. It is these same reasons why cannabis is such a potent medicine. It has the ability to create such a broad diversity of forms that I can't say I can scarcely keep up with it. Face it, there is always going to be a better looking, tasting, smelling, etc nugget. That doesn't mean you aren't getting high. Some folks rate low saying the medicine is adulterated or of inferior quality. Perhaps, from their experience having had nuggets that they say are of much higher quality, it indeed for them is true. For me, I have gotten medicine from other dispensary type sources from across SF and have been able to compare it to collectively grown outdoors too and, sure enough, all of it has been effective and gotten me high. Here's my take. Sometimes the medicine is for too much money. Sometimes for too little service. But with Green Cross, I feel like I'm getting the total package. This business is a model for other people to follow and is helping establish a lot of professionalism in the cannabis industry. IMHO. Because of Green Cross, I am a queen living like a VIP!!! Love these guys. My only suggestion(1 star) would be SUGAR FREE TREATS!! Trust me. Your diabetic, weight conscious, all natural etc. clients will love you for it. LOVE. YOU. FOR IT.(If you need a sista to bake for you guys...you know where to find me!) I've been using their services for a little over 5 months now, and since I live in Oakland and work in SF I get my meds delivered to my office...(wait for it)... In the State Bar Building (Oh no she didn't...oh yes she did!). So you can imagine the culture here, right medicators (is that a word? No? Good, owned!!) Well for the entirety of my patronage I've usually met my delivery person outside. Until last week. When a new delivery person (named Jeremy I think...30 something Asian American) neglected to call upon arrival and just proceeded to go through the security check points to gain access to my office. The icing on my dirty little medication secret cake is I WASN'T EVEN IN THE BUILDING WHEN HE ARRIVED. So of course, when I walked into the lobby of the building and both security and the executive assistant for my program announces "A delivery from green cross is awaiting you" A mini internal 'ToxicFreakout' ensued.To my pleasant surprise, I was met by Jeremy (I think) who assured me he was only waiting a couple of minutes. While I remember having a lovely conversation with him, I couldn't tell you what the hell I even said because I was thinking about paying the man, popping a lozenge for my anxiety and contacting a temp agency as a proactive approach to the epic firing I'm sure to receive in my near future... ....but appearances are everything my friends, and Jeremy was dressed professional, discreet, and courteous, and with the exception of the 20 something interns, everyone around here was up their own butts (per usual) and were removed from any offense in the matter. Thank you Jeremy for being a professional, thoughtful representative for Green Cross SF. I HATE the fact that he had to go through the rigorous security clearance upon entry of the building, but I love the way he handled it. Finesse, folks, nothing but net!Interestingly enough, when I checked in w/ security a few days later to inquire if the monthly logs of visitors would result in a f/u convo from building admin, and I realized the guys downstairs (white boys who like video games, women, fart jokes, good times, the usual) had all learned my name and the tale of my 'pimposity' (their word, not mine) had been a running break room discussion since the delivery. I think they were surprised someone 'cool' worked in such a stuffy place. The sensible me wants to say " Hey, I'm managing PCOS and severe anxiety disorder and this helps me live my life" but that's not a very 'Pimp' thing to say, so I just smiled and nodded  like it was all a part of my brill plan. So now my kingdom has an army of security guard minions. Excellent(*tents fingers like classic Mr. Burns*) Green Cross just bumped up my 'cool' points a tad... It's good to be royalty. :)

Amazing! They were totally friendly through my entire verification process. Right after, they were able to make my delivery very smooth as well. I'd give Green Cross a solid 'A.'  I've used them for years and have been happy but out of curiosity visited a few other places around the city.  This made me appreciate Green Cross even more.  The only concerns are that the supply/variety isn't always abundant (but usually is) and delivery times aren't exact (but within a half hour so never an issue for me).I've only ordered for delivery and haven't gone to the newly opened store.

They have the very best customer service. Many places do just enough, but the woman who helped me over several calls couldn't have been more helpful. Even calling me back, twice.Free, friendly, & fast delivery. They have incredible deals & really great medicine of incredible selection.I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I love the GC. First of all, they deliver practically everywhere in the city.(even Treasure Island) Second, free edibles if you order before 2pm! And they drive only smartcars! Do I like to go to walgreens and wait in the obnoxious pharmacy line to get my meds? No.So why would I want to do that with cannabis? I've belonged to clubs/dispensaries, and they kind of annoy me, really, (although if walgreens turned into that, it would be an improvement.)The bud quality is good, (not top notch, but still good for when you are coming out of a cannabis hiatus with a low tolerance) the prices are competitive and the staff are friendly and very professional. Delivery is normally within the hour, but obviously, on crazy busy days, it will be longer.Best part of all, I can take all the damn time I want hemming and hawing at their online menu before I call and place an order. Their website is fast, straight-up, non-bloated HTML. (I still suffer from slow connections)As I peruse the list, it helps me prepare any questions I have ahead of time; a time-saver for everyone involved.  Due to the fact that I am purchasing medicine, and not something from burger king, I like to do some research before I try a new strain, so it will probably take longer than deciding on whether I want my fries straight or curly.Green Cross ranks well, IMO. I used to trudge my way to Medical Cannabis dispensaries all over the city, looking for a good deal on the best buds. I hate going to some of the seedier dispensaries and getting lousy or rude customer service from people behind the counter. With a few exceptions, many of the dispensaries don't care what you buy and don't have much info on the cannabis they're selling. I started using Green Cross earlier this year because I have chronic pain and mobility limits that make it difficult to make it out to even the closest dispensary locations. I signed up for Green Cross to give them a try and I've stuck with them every since. They post content details on all the cannabis they sell so I know how strong and flavorful the marijuana is that I'm ordering. Once I call in my order, they send out a well-dressed, very polite delivery person to my house within an hour and they accept CASH ONLY.So far, I've not been disappointed. They deliver quality medical grade marijuana and edibles, including cookies, lozenges, THC infused honey and other yummy options. I also noticed that they sell pipes and other smoking devices, which is a plus if you can't make it out of doors. I highly recommend them! Give Green Cross a try. They're good people, very courteous, highly knowledgeable, and they deliver quality product at a very good price.

I have to admit, I've only experienced this business vicariously through my boyfriend's roommate, who is a regular custy, but it hasn't made me want to hop on the GC train AT ALL. I think the only benefit to this place is that they deliver, and they give you free fruit snacks every single time. Their edibles might be good. Their weed is hit or miss. Yesterday's trees were great! last weeks smelled of budrot, and had that squishy unnerving consistency.The clones they got are the kicker, though. The nail in the coffin. When I got clones from Harborside in Oakland, they were vigorous, beautiful, deep green, thick stems, beautiful fat white roots, many leaves; exactly what you would want from high-priced, high-end clones. The Green Cross left my mouth agape, and not in a good way. The clones had small white roots, not hairy at all, just carpeting the bottom of the rockwool, not even the sides or anything! They were woody-stemmed, which probably means the mother is OLD. They had 2-3 leaves on EACH clone! PATHETIC! At least 3 are already dead after 2 weeks. And just 2 weeks after they spent full price, the clones are 2 for 1 LOL, they should have dropped the price earlier, or esp. for a regular!! I'm not used to a club being so stingy with their regular customers :(In short, I would spend an extra 2 bucks on MUNI to avoid this kind of disappointment.

My favorite dispensary...it eclipses all the others with consistent product, excellent service, and panoramic selection.  The staff is courteous, patient, and knowledgeable...especially Steve and Marissa, who have been spot on with their recommendations and actually remember my preferences from visit to visit.  Tasty edibles are always being added, and they are flavorful enough to warrant noshing on were they not medicinal.  I only wish the store menu were published on the website as well, since I drive quite a distance and like to stretch my budget with sun grown specials that I can select in-person...although I have used the delivery service from time to time and found it to be convenient and reliable.  Kudos to the folks at The Green Cross, you have set the standard very high!

When I got there I handed my San Francisco state card Medical Cannabis Card to RENEW my membership. I had been a member of the delivery service and a donator of edibles to the Patients Choice Cup fundraiser for SF ASA for the last four years. The guy behind the desk just handed me a piece of paper with a really long statement. I asked him what this was and he said "that is for you to read" ... " Yes I understand that, what does it say?" The guy at the front door could not explain to me that the document was from the management and explained they do not accept the state card and only an original doctors rec.... If you are going to have a policy like this then you need have a door person who can explain the policy. Instead they hired a complete idiot who they obviously never trained. I will never get my medicine from this organization again and I will never participate in the patients choice awards again because of this service.

8ml spray $20.assorted edibles including lemon drop cookies, chocolate brownies, chocolate chip cookies, ginger cookies, banana nut muffins, and peanut butter cookies taste delicious and were all $5.but they hardly medicate. i've had way better for cheaper.don't recommend their edibles IMO.quality of a diesel kush and frosty don't look too great, but they medicate liberally. 85 quarter half and half, not bad.nice people, generous for first - timers. free jar, information packet, granola bar, etc.

I do like the Green Cross. I have had great smoke from them. I went in there the other day and had a negative experience with the door guy. I walked in and it was clear that a brand new member was at the counter just finishing her check in process up. The guy at the check in kiosk knows that I am a regular and could have easily checked me in and sent me on my way while the new member finished getting her bag together and walked across the room (which took 3x as long). Yet, he decided to tell me to wait while she walked across the room. He then slowly explained to her the whole situation of how to come in and get in, etc. It was obvious that he was making me wait for reasons other than good customer service and he should have taken the 30 seconds to pull me up and send me through instead of making me wait for new member to even get across the room to the kiosk (1.5 mins)!! Then he took the time to explain to her the deal while I could have already been ordering and on my way. I didn't appreciate being made to wait while he exercised a power trip. Customer service happens to be one of my top needs in any business I frequent. I think I'll leave the high school politics aside and go elsewhere from now on.

Amazing. First off, the weed is always top quality, and their edibles are DELICIOUS. Secondly, they give you a free edible on orders placed before 2pm!! When I joined, they hooked me up with a free jar, lighter, stickers and button/pin. The delivery guys are always on time and are very professional. They also provide information about marijuana and the benefits/effects of various types, as well as inform you of your rights as a medical card holder. The Green Cross really does go above and beyond.  I have never been been disappointed with the green cross, and probably won't be steering towards any other dispensaries anytime soon. Can't wait to try their THC olive oil, tea, or hot chocolate!

The existence of this place confirms to me that there is no better place to grow roots than San Francisco.  The whole set-up couldn't be simpler (e-mail a copy of your cannabis card, your ID, wait for a call-back) and the menu on their site is a pleasant perusal.  The options are plenty, the quality fantastic, and the service a dreamboat.  These folks are friendly, human, and providing a fantastic service for this city.

This is a great delivery service! I like the indoor indicas the best. Only problem is you do not know what you are getting sometimes the quality can be questionable but over all it is great. Make sure you know that organic means out door grown and that you do not have a problem with that. The edibles are great and the $30 eights cant be beat. There usually on time and very friendly.

Just did my first Green Cross order and I gotta say I'm now in love! Everything from the online ordering to the cool dude who showed up at my place with a bag full of goodies was perfect.  The pricing was good and the service excellent, and I didn't even know they give out free goodiebags for new customers!

The Green Cross is great.  After getting the doctor's recommendation, I faxed it over to them and became a member.  I called them up, placed an order, and just like they said, they were at my house in about an hour.  They had a bag of stuff for me, including a free class jar, a THC cookie, a granola bar, as well as my order.  Also included was an information packet that explains everything you need to know.  No complaints, in fact, I'm quite impressed.  Like ordering a pizza but, of course, much better.  I recommend these guys for sure.

BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST DISPENSARIES IN CALIFORNIA!!!When I first moved to San Francisco about a year ago, I was in need to a good place to get my chron chrons from. The Green Cross is it, this palce to go. As mentioned earlier $290 for Indoor OG is just not beatable, it is A GREAT DEAL. Add in free delivery, and your rolling.These guys even include a free edible if you order before 2pm.. which is very nice. Once in a while Juan will even throw in an extra edible, he is the shit (props to you Juan). Natalie is also real nice, always accomodating my needs, sometimes I just call at lunch and tell her that I will be home at around 5. Once I get home one of the delivery guys shows up just minutes later.A few tips.. always check out the menu online. They offer the "Mix a lot" which is pretty much a mix of all the dank buds they sell, just the smaller nugs. For $225 an ounce, one can simply not complain. Did I mention that they accept plastic?

ordered up some baked goods and a mixed and matched Z  for 290. These are some good folks, with strong medicine. They showed up in under an hr, and gave me a welcome kit that had a free brownie, and nug jar. These folks are top notch.

So I place my order - 3x PB cups and the total is $20.I then receive a call telling me that they have a minimum order of $25, which wasn't mentioned anywhere on their website. I say, ok..how can we make this work? The dude on the other end of the line is getting impatient with me and his tone starts to fein. He offers to sell me more medibles, which I had no interest in buying. I ask if they sell cannabis by the Gram and the guy tells me "No, but we have pre-rolled joints which are less than a gram for $17 bucks." I couldn't believe my ears. $17 bucks for less than a gram of cannabis?! That's absolutely ridiculous. The guy on the phone then arrogantly proclaims that he could just charge me $10 bucks for delivery. As if he was doing me a favor by trying to up-sell their products in the first place!So, NO Grams, Overpriced Cannabis, and VERY rude customer service...I'm taking my business elsewhere. Good thing there are more dispensaries in this city than starbucks.

The Green Cross is great! I enjoy edibles and they have a great assortment of them...cookies, nuts, trail mixes, snack mixes, and brownies.  Everything I tried was good tasting and fresh.  Edibles, $7 each or 3 for $20.  I bought a  tincture (3.5 oz) for $69 and it was worth every penny of it. When you add free delivery, it the icing on the cake!  Very professional and personable staff.  Thank you for providing a much needed service.

I've been a patient at the green cross for 3 years now, and it just keeps getting better and better. When I first started coming here ounces were $320 for the highest quality medicine out there, which compared to the prices in LA was a total bargain. It's is by far the best Medical Dispensary I have had the pleasure of visiting. It was a favorite when they were delivery only, but now that I have been to their new store front I am even more impressed with the quality of service and medicine. Kevin creates such a friendly environment for his patients I would almost just stop by to see the staff that are all friends now. If its your first time or your are a dispensary veteran this is an awesome organization to support because they have such a close connection to the community. I will add a suggestion on what to get because there are so many choices I would say the SF Dragon's Breath is the best place to start, any strain with SF in the name is always a winner.

Well I just ordered for my edibles (They recognized my yelp name a good sign they take review to heart.) I have to say I did over react a bit it is not like they had purposely cheated me, but it was a just few too many careless errors and just generally low quality bud for this city even for the price.In the end though I do want to add they are good people working there. If you want to go through with getting any issues with your order fixed they will do their best to fix it. (Personally I just like stuff done right the first time every time, but were all human and they work with a lot of people). If you want something quick and easy that you don't have to set up waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of time this is your place. Always my delivery comes in their estimated time and its usually 30 min-1 hour and 15 min to deliver.Edit: My order took an extra 15 minutes to get here and again they forgot to call vs ring my doorbell as I can not hear it from my room... I ordered the blueberry kush staying safe and "organic". The bud is nothing special, but the best thing is there is no complaints about the quality. Although I mentioned the last order being a point under and I was reassured over the phone that they always weigh over. I pulled my bad and put it on the scale and again it was 3.66, although I don't notice a menu with weight anymore so I am guessing they must have reverted to the standard 3.5 eighth weight vs the 3.75 they used to advertise. At least they were polite and professional and still brought me the edible they advertised and deserve a average rating, but I definitely have a few other 5 star dispensaries I'd prefer to go to.

I became a member 2-3 months ago. There are only two things that really bother me about The Green Cross. 1.) I live in the Outer Richmond around 30th & Balboa. I guess I either saw or heard somewhere that The Green Cross usually delivers in an hour or less. This has only been true maybe 3 times since I became a member. I would say that more realistically, they deliver to me in 1.5-2 hours.2.) I ordered 1/2 oz of their Mix-A-Lot special for $100 and about half of it was really low quality bud. It was brown and dry and I regret not checking the bag first before accepting the product. Tip: Definitely check out their twitter feed or subscribe to their text messaging service before you decide on what to buy. Sometimes they'll get something new in and it won't be on the website.

I've been ordering from the Green Cross for almost a year now and i gotta say, they're the best dispensary in San Francisco! The GC is very consistent when it comes to their high quality buds, try their purple kush (my personal favorite). They're deliveries are rarely late and always call you to let you know if they're running a little behind. All their strains are $35 an 8th and they usually have some pretty good specials for ounces; try the small bud special! Their edibles are pretty good for the price (try the mixed nuts w/ yogurt and fruits) and their concentrates are bomb, though i've never tried their kief. This is THE place to obtain high-quality cannabis at amazing values, all served up and delivered right to your door  with no delivery fee. They even state that tipping is not allowed, though I would love to do so, as the entire staff from the delivery persons to the call takers are exceeding professional, knowledgeable and kind.They have a broad variety of medications, usually at least 25 or so strains, along with hash, oil, Kief, edibles, etc. Call in before 2:00pm and you get a free edible.It is $85 for a quarter, which can't be beat anywhere in town. You get even better discounts for buying one half to a whole ounce at a time. Can't say enough about this business. If you haven't tried them yet, do yourself a favor and call. I would also like to point out that they offer discounts to seniors, vets and those currently hospitalized. They also are very active in the medical cannabis movement, and help keep awareness focused on  the issue. My New Favorite Spot except! That they don't sell anything under an 8th! Like really? WTF? But ok whatever they make up for it in their service and the bud I've gotten has been top notch! Got 1/8 of OGKush, 1/8th of Exotic Purple, and an 1/8th of Cookies all very nice buds; in my opinion the bud is better now then during the delivery service. Had seemed before that the bud was prepackaged for quick order picking, and therefor sometimes dried out. Now buds are absoultly stunning prices ...OK.... would love it if they would keep prices the way they had on special today.... All 1/8ths $30. Now that would rock the socks off of any club in SF! Or at least go back to all 1/8ths $35. It was just recently they uped the prices 5bucks on the indoor strains. Another thing I do want to mention that I absoultly love that they are doing at The Green Cross is they DON'T have preweighed bags! Yay! This is my go-to dispensary. Quick verification, easy ordering, and high quality meds. Sweet first-time patient freebies. The latest batches of Trainwreck and Headband are excellent. All of the purple strains are delicious (purple erkle!). It's nice to see high CBD strains like Harlequin on the menu too.I'd like to see more (and more potent) edibles, but the ones they do carry are tasty and get you where you need to be. Brownies right to your doorstep. What?

I once baked a batch of brownies with a full tub of both the standard cannabutter and the peanut butter ($40 total), and after 4-5 brownies, I felt full, but certainly not stoned.All in all, if you're looking for a no-hassle, friendly dispensary with good prices and good herb, the Green Cross is there for you. If you want top of the line edibles, maybe check out the Vapor Room on Haight. Otherwise a very lovely service!

After reading the reviews here and hearing about their excellent customer service, I decided to try the green cross. Signing up with them was super-easy (just a fax of my doc's prescription and ID), and whomever was working the phones was super-nice  and patient with my ignorance to their process (Janet, i think? I'm horrible with names). I ordered some sticky-icky, and it was delivered within an hour (impressive, for a Saturday afternoon!). The delivery-person (Brian) was also very nice and professional. Because it was my first delivery with them, they gave me a free treat (that they let me choose! awesome!), and a free green cross medication jar...which is super-cool. They also included a great packet of information on different strains and their effects...which is probably the most helpful and comprehensive info I've ever received from a dispensary. Way to go!The medication is top notch! As a regular smoker for several years, I'd like to think I can recognize quality medication...and the Green Cross definitely provided. With the timely delivery, professional service, and excellent quality medication, I do believe that the green cross will become my regular dispensary from now on. They rock!

if i could rate this dispensary no stars i would because of my first visit. i rate the customer service no stars & the staff no stars. the communication between the staff non existent. the reason for a negatve review is cause i called before i arrived there & spoke to someone who said it would not be a problem getting registered at this dispensary & when i arrived i was turned away. if i only knew i would not of wasted my time going to this dispenary!!! i have gone to more than a dozen dispensarys in san francisco to san jose & i never exprienced this situation.

This place is great... All their marijuana is top shelf, yet every eighth is only 35 dollars! At other clubs, this is a sale price or the price you give to "discounted" weed. They also have had top notch strains such as afghani granddaddy... Probably one of the heaviest hitting weed I have smoked....The low prices of the green cross also make the delivery a huge plus...  Rainy day, sick, whatever, green cross always comes in a timely manner. Also the free gift bag for new patients is pretty awesome... It's definitely worth the price of an eighth, but then you get super dank weed!All in all, green cross is one of those companies that just totally legitimizes the medical marijuana industry...

Within less than an hour the driver was at my front door. The driver was discreet, professional, and refused a tip citing company policy.  I received several gifts for being a first time customer.The prices are unbeatable and the ease of ordering online and home delivery is one of a kind.

The price is OK.  That's it, the delivery takes much longer than they say and the customer service is not near to be honest with you. It sounds like they don't give a f... about you, all they want is your money.   They even stop carrying the Volcano just because it is not profitable.  Doesn't matter if it's good for the patient's health, for the Green Cross it's  not about you patient, it's about something else. So, there are many other options in SF, just search it online.

Discovered the Green Cross through  simple google search and I could not be any happier with their service and product.  Verification was extremely easy. I just sent them pictures of my recommendation and photo ID and within 5 minutes they called me notifying me that I was verified.  I ordered an 3.5g of Purple Erkel and it was told it would be there in an hour.  Exactly one hour later I get a call alerting me the deliveryman was outside my apartment.  Apparently they drive SmartCars for their deliveries and I entered the vehicle, showed the driver my ID and received my medicine.  Prices are extremely reasonable and it is great quality medicine.  Go here for the simplicity and ease!

I just moved to the city and was in need of a dispensary. My boyfriend recommended the green cross. I was a little nervous having someone coming to my house, but my boyfriend assured me it was fine. When the driver arrived i was surprised to see a well dressed man holding a satchel (that reeked in the best way possible). He was very polite, but to the point, which was a plus for me, i was in a hurry. They gave me a medicated rice crispy treat for free for it being my first time. My boyfriend told me that the green cross edibles were weak, but would tell you otherwise. I should have only eaten half.. The thing totally knocked me out! Another thing i love is that they gave me magnifying device with led so you can really examine the buds up close, which i love, because i have got bud from clubs only to later find spider mites...The buds were really good, the J1 was really a great smoke, burns even, smooth on the throat, with a bright citrus aroma and crisp taste. I enjoyed the  Purple Erkle too, however the bud seemed to have a planty aroma and a bit harsher smoke. which to me suggested that it had not been given the longest cure. I feel that if given a longer cure the Erkle could be just as good as the J1.. The sour diesel hash was awesome as well. Real sativa cerebral hash..overall the green cross was great! They answer the phones every time, which is not something you can say for all delivery services around sf. They are prompt, my delivery took an hr. The phone staff is super helpful and nice. They have Great selection, with a few hiccups when it came to curing the erkle but in the end i was impressed.

I love Green Cross. Ive been using them for almost 2 years. Signing up was simple and quick and you get free shit. Ordering is a breeze, the staff is usually knowledgeable and always friendly. Theyve got a broad collection of strains. The quality of the bud is good but not great. great for the price though. Dollar points is almost unheard of at a club in SF. The delivery guys are super chill and usually arrive in about an hour. and each delivery comes with a free snack. The ONLY problem i have with them is their edibles arent very stong but are quite expensive. Their concentrates are cool and cheap. Overall they are a great club and i hit them up frequently whenever im too lazy to go to a club. everything you need can be delivered by them. Have fun and blaze 1

I just had my first and greatly anticipated experience with The Green Cross.  When I started my clinic research project , as I finally decided to get my card to help alleviate what the pills do, The Green Cross kept coming up as the place to buy.  I couldn't believe ALL those people could feel be so well treated over and again"... "professional, knowledgeable, generous".... on and on.  So I  "experienced" their place of business later to get  more objectivity . I finally came to trying The Green Cross and it's so true--everything written positively for this establishment.  Steve, the delivery guy as well has a a professional, caring attitude to customers; also funny and makes the experience feel casual and efficient and made sure I was satisfied before he left.  Thank you, Steve..Thank you Green Cross, opening the goodie bag felt like an early christmas!  Well done.

Ever dependable is the Green Cross, sometimes the deliveries may take a little longer than expected but they always come. The bud selection is pretty wide though more middle of the road as far as quality goes. With that said, this is one of the few places you can get a lab breakdown of your flower so that is a major bonus. Sad that they upped their prices on a lot of the bud though, it's hard to find any of their $35 8ths that are actually worth buying.

I have had one delivery from the Green Cross.  I must say i got pretty excited by the prices so actually bought some of the great deals they had.  ho hum.  it just isn't potent enough medicine for me.  I love having my medicine delivered but there are other delivery services that are just as convenient and have much much higher quality buds......and still a bargain.

very nice service. everyone who works there is really cool. great prices too. the complaints i have are that you have to go by the picture (no pre-smell-look-etc.) and that the bags are always rolled up tight and it kind of compresses the medicine.  Also i've recieved some grand daddy purple that was beasterishly still wet and had a little hay smell! These guys are on top of the game as far as service and being professional.  some of the strains have been very potent (ex. strawberry caugh)  some of them however have been lacking..  also i've never really gotten anything that was really just in-your-face-fresh like i like.. maybe i'm a snob.

This was my first dispensary I tried just hours after becoming legal, and it has been my favorite. Out of all the dispensaries I've tried, this is the only one I am consistently satisfied with. I've always gotten great weed for a great price (definitely among the most affordable in SF) and they have the BEST edibles. The regular dose cookies were pretty strong but the double and triple are gold, I can eat one and save the other for another day. Also the Bhang chocolate bars produce some of the smoothest, strongest highs I've ever had. The products are great and I can honestly say I've had a good experience in person with every employee and when I get it delivered. The ONE time I had a problem was on 4/20 when my order was two hours late, now I wasn't horribly pissed or anything given the day, but they threw in a free edible on my next delivery. Definitely my go to dispensary and I recommend them highly!
